Chapter 131

Sebastian and Zeno stood in front of their hostages, Jasper was chaining their hands together behind them.

They were still unconscious, their heads falling to the side.

"Boss, the lady is awake in the other room; she’s demanding I let her go," Jeremiah walked into the room and informed Sebastian.

"Why did your guys take him?" Sebastian pointed at the sitting by his left.

Zeno frowned, wasn’t he the one who asked them to kidnap those men? Why was he asking why they had taken one of them?

Jasper was now standing beside the metal chair, sending Jeremiah an alarmed look.

"Boss, we thought you had asked us to take whoever we saw walking out of the boxing gym," Jasper cautiously spoke.

"This Pole, he used to work for me, I believe he has nothing to do with them, at least not yet. Wake them up," Sebastian commanded.

Jasper nodded and walked over to the metal table that was filled with different torture equipment; he picked up a small remote and pressed a button on it.

"Argh!" The guy sitting beside Pole screamed from pain and the literal shock he felt from the chair electrocuting his body.

Pole slowly opened his eyes from the loud s team he heard beside him, he snapped his head to the side to see who was shouting and was surprised to find himself chained to a chair.

"Baron! What’s happening? Where are we?" Pole asked, scared.

"Release him, Jasper," Sebastian ordered.

Sebastian’s voice drew Baron and Pole’s attention to himself, they snapped their head toward him, their eyes widening in realization.

"You!" Baron sneered, breathing heavily as he still reeled from the unexpected shock from the chair.

"Boss..." Pole called in surprise.

Sebastian was quiet as Jasper went behind Pole and released his hands.

"Traitor! You betrayed the boss," Baron glared at Pole, pulling his hands and trying to free himself.

"I’m sorry, Baron, I don’t know what you’re talking about, but you know this is my first boss, I’ve betrayed no one," Pole replied.

He bowed to Sebastian, "What do you want to know, Boss? I might have changed jobs but I am no part of whatever they are planning amongst them," he said.

Zeno was suddenly feeling insecure; he knew this whole thing was going to boil to talking about Bison, and he wished he could have told Sebastian about it before now. Zeno was scared that Baron might know about his and Bison’s agreement and would end up telling Sebastian about it. He anxiously picked his nails and shifted his weight from one foot to the other.

"You won’t know all the details of what I want, I believe Baron is the best person to answer my questions," Sebastian signaled for Hasper to bring the remote over to him.

"But I can show you who he is, Boss. The barcode man came by last night, and I had promised Ezra that I’d capture him whenever I saw him; here is the picture, his name is Bison," Pole eagerly showed Sebastian the picture on his screen.

"You bastard! How dare you betray us?! You’ll pay for - Argh!!!" Baron screamed louder, this time, Sebastian made the shock last longer than the first one.

He ignored Baron’s screams and took the phone from Pole; he brought it over to Zeno and showed him, "Do you think he looks familiar, too?" Sebastian narrowed his eyes, trying to remember if he’d seen the face before.

Zeno felt very uncomfortable, but he replied, "Yes, he does..." He paused, looking away from the picture; his conscience wasn’t letting him act like everything was all right.

Sebastian returned the phone to Pole and paused his torture of Baron.

"Take him," He said to Jasper.

"Yes, boss," Jasper bowed and nodded at Pole to follow him.

"Go with them, Jeremiah," He said to Jeremiah, who was still silently standing behind him.

"Yes, Boss," He bowed and left the room to join Jasper and Jeremiah.

Baron was panting and hiccuping, his head was thrown backward as the effects of the shock made him weak and almost unconscious.

Sebastian handed the remote to Zeno, "If he needs it, I’d need you to press down on the red button, do you understand?" He spoke softly to Zeno.

Zeno nodded, "I understand," He replied.

Sebastian gave him one last look before walking over to Baron, "I believe you know what I want to ask, and I’m sure you know what’s going to happen if you don’t answer them," Sebastian’s dark and brooding voice sounded all over the room.

Baron weakly lifted his head and stared at Sebastian, "You will never get your answers," He replied breathlessly.

Sebastian chuckled, "I see you’re making the wrong decisions, but it’s your call. I can just let the charges kill you right here and not even Bison would know that you’re gone. You’re just one of his many dogs, and you know it. Tell me, do you think he’d defend you with his life the way you’re defending him? Why get yourself killed for a man who has no emotions in him, take it from me, it’s not worth it," Sebastian advised.

"Fuck you - Shit!" Baron’s face flew to the side.

"I’m different, Baron, that’s why Bison is scared of me. I don’t take even the slightest of insults; if you worked for me, you’d learn that..." Sebastian turned and winked at Zeno, "Except you, baby girl, I’ll take anything from you," He smiled at Zeno.

"Seb!" Zeno called in shock; he never believed Sebastian would flirt with him in the middle of something so serious.

Baron spat a cloth of blood out from his mouth, he glared at Zeno and scowled, "Faggot," He sneered.

"Babe?" Sebastian called.

"I got it," Zeno replied and pressed down hard on the red button.

In the next second, Baron screamed at the top of his lungs, his body convulsing rapidly, and blood flowed generously out of his nose and mouth.

Sebastian walked back to Zeno and held his hand, "We need him alive, baby," He smirked at Zeno.

Zeno reluctantly removed his hand from the button, but he had a satisfied smile on his face, "That was good, right?" He asked Sebastian.

"Satisfying," Sebastian chuckled.

"He’s passed out. Guess you have to have a chat with him later," Zeno shrugged and placed the remote on the metal table.

"Yeah...how inconveniencing," Sebastian held Zeno’s hand and led him out of the room.

"Want to say hi to your ex?" Zeno asked as they walked along the passage.

Sebastian paused and held Zeno’s arm, "Why not? But please, address her by her name, I don’t have any attachments with someone like her. Plus, you’re actually succeeding in making me feel jealous of myself. I feel like you’re trying to match her to me, and I’m jealous because It feels like someone I love is shipping me to someone else. I’m not sure if it’s jealousy or hurt, maybe both of them," he complained.

"Alright, alright, no more Georgia jokes, I’m sorry." Zeno kissed Sebastian’s lips and smiled at him.

"Better?" Zeno asked.

Sebastian slowly nodded, "For now, you can compensate me with something more tonight," he winked at Zeno.

Zeno smiled but turned serious, "Hey," He held Sebastian back as he went to open the door to the room Georgia was probably locked in.

Sebastian turned without speaking, just waiting for Zeno to say whatever was on his mind.

"About tonight...you know I told you I had something to tell you?" He reminded.

Sebastian nodded, still not speaking.

"Well, I need you to promise not to get mad, okay, maybe you can get mad, but promise not to let it be like the last time I told you about your father’s deal with me, promise?" Zeno asked gently.

Sebastian sighed, "I promise, Sweetheart, I’m not letting us separate again, no matter what. Even if I do get mad, I’m not going to let it make you want to go away from me like the last time, okay?" He touched Zeno’s cheek.

Zeno smiled and nodded, "Thank you," He said.

"You’re just..." Sebastian paused and shook his head, Zeno was going to be the death of him.

"Let’s just hurry and get this over with, I have something more important I want to attend to," he gave Zeno a suggestive look before pushing Georgia’s door open and walking in.

Zeno silently chuckled before he followed Sebastian inside the room.

The whole room was dark, and when Sebastian turned it on, his eyes fell on the woman who was tied to a chair; her hood had fallen off her head to reveal her disheveled hair from struggling and shouting to be set free.

The moment Georgia saw Sebastian, she straightened her back and gave him a sweet smile.

"Baby, my love, please release me. Whatever that idiotic lair beside you had told you is a lie. You know me, I can’t even hurt a fly, please. I love you," She begged in a sweet and innocent voice.

Sebastian was about to reply, but Zeno stepped in front of him; he was done letting women claim his boyfriend.

"Hi, Georgia, I have a quick question for you," Zeno smiled at her.

Georgia scowled, "Get out of this room and give Sebastian and me some privacy," She ordered.

Sebastian scoffed, his hands going around Zeno’s waist and his eyes locking in on Georgia to make sure she understood the message.

But even if she didn’t, Zeno’s next words made her understand everything.

"So, who do you think he’d believe, Georgia? A crazy ugly woman, or...his boyfriend?" Zeno boldly placed his hand on Sebastian’s chest, slowly sliding it down his abs.

Georgia paused, shock written all over her face, "No, no, you can’t, Sebastian, tell me it’s a lie, you can’t like him, you can’t like a man, I’m your wife, we have a child together, no!" She screamed like a maniac, struggling on her chair and blood soon started dripping to the floor from behind her

The chains had dug deep and cut her skin as she struggled in her binding.

Chapter 132

"Please! Tell me you’re not in a relationship with him; I’m changed, Sebastian, I swear it, I can be the wife and mother you need; I’m changed, sweetheart, please," Georgia cried.

Zeno sighed, he looked at Sebastian and then back at Georgia.

"Let’s catch straight to chase, Ms. Einstein. Why did you try to kidnap my son?" Sebastian ignored all the rub-ish promises Georgia was making and asked the real question.

Georgia went quiet; she frowned, "Since you’re not going to take me back as your wife, it means you’ve really become wiser; there’s no need for me to keep the pretense up. I want you to leave me and my boyfriend alone, Sebastian. And as the mother of your child, I was hoping you would give me a huge sum of money to start my life because you’re the reason my father disowned me; if you had kept your mouth shut about my relationship with Johan, I would have still had a share in my family’s fortune. You owe me that much, Sebastian, I gave you a baby; you owe me your fuvking life. You have to do with what I want or I guarantee you that your father will hear about your secret relationship with your bodyguard," She threatened.

Sebastian smiled, "Tell my father about us? I like the fact that you’re still so dumb to think that you’re ever leaving here alive, Georgia. As we speak, your little Johan boyfriend is probably lying on the floor, Beeding to his death. It’s a shame you didn’t have to say goodbye, I’m going to leave you here, alone, in the dark. I’ll let the darkness take care of you; I don’t care how much it takes for you to die but don’t worry, someone will come in every day to check if your body is ready to be disposed of," He held Zeno’s hand and turned him away from Georgia.

"You are not, Sebastian! I’m the mother of your child! He’ll ask for me one day, you need me alive!" Georgia screamed at Sebastian.

"No, I don’t. Kenneth doesn’t need you; you left him the moment he came out of you; you’re as good as dead to him. You won’t be missed because you were never known," Sebastian slammed the door shut, ignoring Georgia’s cries and plea.

In front of Sebastian’s house, Ezra was sitting on the stairs when he saw Jasper and Jeremiah walking by with Pole.

He narrowed his eyes when he saw Pole and quickly stood from the stairs, "Hey," He called and walked over to them.

"Good evening, Doc," Jasper greeted.

"Hi," Jeremiah waved at Ezra; she wasn’t really familiar with him, so he kept it short and polite.

"Hello, Doc," Pole smiled at Ezra.

"Hi, guys. Can I borrow him for a second?" He looked at Jasper.

"Of course, Doc, we were just heading to the building, nothing much," Jasper replied and held Jeremiah’s hand, nodded at Ezra, and then walked away.

"What are you going here?" Ezra asked.

Pole shrugged, "I got kidnapped by them," he pointed to Jasper and Jeremiah, who were walking away from them.

"Wait, you’re the one they kidnapped and not Baron?" Ezra questioned.

Pole shook his head, "Oh, they got him, he’s down there in the torture room," He replied.

"I see, so he released you?" Ezra stared at him.

"Yeah," Pole smirked at him, "I’m not the bad guy, Doc. And I did send you a message yesterday, but it seems like you don’t even have my number saved on your phone," He implied.

Ezra frowned, "You did?" He took his phone out and checked his messages; truly, Pole had texted him, telling him that he’d seen the barcode man.

"Oh, I’m sorry, about that," Ezra smiled, embarrassed.

He’s been so occupied with Nicholas that he forgot to reply to texts.

"No problem, Doc, a date can - wait...that’s Nicholas," Pole pointed toward the house.

Ezra frowned and looked back; he saw Nicholas standing there and looking at him as if he was angry or something; well, he was always angry with him.

He turned back to Pole and nodded, "Yes, you must know him from your former club, huh?" Ezra asked, hoping that was the only reason Pole was recognizing Nicholas.

Pole shook his head, "No, I mean, yes, I do know him from my former club; his father manages the place, but he’s the one, the one Bison is looking for."

Ezra’s frown deepened, "Bison?"

Pole nodded, "Yes, that’s the name of the barcode man; he’s been searching for Nicholas for quite some time now; I have no idea why that is," He informed.

"Damn," Ezra walked toward Nicholas Pole and followed him behind.

"Hey, this is Pole, he used to work for-"

"I know him," Nicholas cut him off.

Ezra sighed, "Listen, he said that this barcode guy is really out for you, do you know anyone called Bison by any means?" He asked him seriously.

Nicholas frowned, "No, why?"

"That’s his name, the guy who’s looking for you, for us..."

"What’s going on?" Sebastian walked over to them and questioned.

Zeno sensed something very out of the ordinary was about to happen, he stood beside Sebastian, watching everyone’s reaction.

"Pole confirms that Nicholas is really the one Biosn is looking for," Ezra informed.

Sebastian scoffed, "Let’s get in the house first," He left them and walked inside the house.

Zeno suddenly held Pole’s hand when he was about to walk away with them, "Sorry, I need to ask you something," He apologized and removed his hand from Pole’s.

Pole nodded, "It’s alright, what did you want to ask?"

Zeno sighed, "It’s about Bison, did he mention anything concerning me? Or Sebastian, I mean, anything about Sebastian’s family at all?" He asked awkwardly.

Pole frowned, "Um, apart from the fact that he’s sending his men to find ways to bring the boss down, he’s never really mentioned him that much. He’s just particular about Nicholas, I don’t know why," He provided.

"Oh, okay, thank you," Zeno said.

He just wanted to make sure that Pole knew nothing about his and Bison’s arrangements; he didn’t want Sebastian to hear about it from someone else.

He slowly walked inside the house and found everyone sitting in the living room. He slowed his steps and listened to what Sebastian was saying.

"If everything works as I plan, Bison will no longer be a problem to us before the weekend," Sebastian stated.

"I’m really curious to know why the man is looking for me, I don’t remember associating myself with Aby gang leader, at least, not since high school," Nicholas said.

Ezra hummed, "Yeah, we heard that story in college, about your mother and how you developed Mummy issues," He taunted.

Nicholas grated at Ezra, "Mind what you say, Ezra, don’t overstep," He warned.

Ezra shrugged, "Just saying since you brought it up yourself," He smiled.

Nicholas looked at Sebastian, "If we’re done here, I’d like to go do something else," He stood from the sofa and was about to walk out on everyone when he saw something on Pole’s phone.

"Can I see that?" He pointed to the phone in Pole’s hand.

Pole blinked and looked at the phone in his hand; he realized he had left his screen on after showing Sebastian Bison’s picture down in the torture room.

"Oh, here," Pole gave his phone to Nichola.

Nicholas stared at the man in the picture, his face morphed into disbelief, he slowly raised his face and stared at Bison, "This man, who is he to you? Why do you have his picture on your phone?" His slow questioning got everyone in suspense, especially Zeno, he was staring at Nicholas, feeling in his gut that they were about to be very shocked.

"That’s Bison...the barcode man as you Ezra call him," Pole replied.

Sebastian stepped forward and took the phone from Nicholas, "Are you alright? Do you know him from anywhere?" He asked.

Nicholas slowly nodded, "I wish I didn’t. He’s my father," He announced.

"What?!" Sebastian asked with a deep frown.

"Damn! That’s huge," Ezra said in disbelief.

Zeno was quiet, he knew something huge was about to happen, but he never knew it would be this big.

Bison was Nicholas’ father? What was really going on?

"The story I told you giving college of how I never got to meet my father after he abandoned my mom and me before my high school, he was the one I was talking about, but his name is isn’t Bison, he’s name is Benson, and I never knew he was this big...the barcode man. What does that fucker want from me?" Nicholas was breathing angrily, his hatred for his father was evident in his eyes, and it was clear that the father and son didn’t get along.

Sebastian smirked, "Maybe, it’s time you meet your father, Nicholas," He placed a hand on Nicholas’ shoulder.

"What?" Nicholas asked.

Sebastian nodded, "Maybe, you’re just want we need to get him. Want to help?" He raised a brow at him.

Nicholas sighed. He knew his father was no good, so why wouldn’t he help to bring him down? "I’m in," He replied

Chapter 133

The next few days, we were busy as Sebastian and his team prepared to catch Bison.

Sebastian had gone down one last time to talk to Barron, but the man refused to talk; Sebastian left him to die on his own, just like Georgia. It wasn’t as if he clumsy made Barron talk, but he no longer needed him; he got Nicholas, who was the second impotent this Bison wanted.

It’s been three days since they found out that Bison was Nicholas’ absent father, and they’ve been plotting something they believed would be foolproof and efficient.

"I would have never thought that Nicholas was related to that psycho," Cody said with a frown as they sat in the cafeteria in the bodyguards’ building.

Ida nodded, "Me, too, baby, Nicholas is nothing like his father," He replied.

Cody rolled his eyes, "I wasn’t speaking to you."

Ida sighed and looked at his friends who were sitting around them.

"Babe, I’ve apologized a million times, but you still chose to stay angry at me. I’m sorry, okay? I mean, I didn’t even do it, but I’m apologizing as if I’m really guilty," Ida’s voice was soft and pleading.

Cody scoffed, "Yeah, you didn’t do it; it was your hands that did it, you know they have a mind of their own, and that’s why they glued to her ass like a glove," He retorted.

Thomas chuckled, "Ahh, I live for the drama; you’re right, Cody; I saw him, too. He kissed her, too," He fueled on.

Ida glared at him but quickly turned his attention to Cody, "Babe, you know I would never, right?" He blinked slowly.

"Yeah, that’s what I thought until I saw your hand on her ass. Is my ass not good enough for you?" Coldy body asked.

Ida choked, coughing loudly, and his eyes turned red.

He couldn’t believe that Cody would ask that kind of thing out loud. "Babe, come on, your...your ass is perfect, baby; I just want you to believe me; I didn’t do it; it was a wrong camera angle that Thomas had taken for his obvious entertainment, I promise," he held Cody’s hand under the table.

Jeremiah scoffed and turned to Jasper, who sat beside him, "Oh, baby, is my ass not good enough for you? You can squeeze it to find out," He mimicked in a whiny voice.

Jasper shifted away from him and pushed him away by his head, "I’ll pass, baby. You’re not my type," He replied and went back to eating.

"Ouch," Jeremiah placed a hand on his chest.

"It’s okay, brother, you’ll always have me," Thomas patted Jeremiah’s back.

"I’d rather die, Tom, now get your hands off me," He pushed his twin brother off him.

"Ouch, a combo of transferred aggression and emotional damage," Thomas muttered.

"Learn how to mind your business, Thomas," Andre sighed.

"Tell him," Ida supported.

Cody was staring at Ida as he frowned. His hands on his lap sought Ida’s thigh, slowly grazing his fingers on Ida’s inner thigh.

Ida froze, he snapped his head to Cody and smiled widely, "You’ve forgiven me?" He whispered.

Cody shrugged, "If you can prove to me you deserve it... in the room?" He winked at Ida.

Ida sprang up from the seat, "Excuse us. We’ll be leaving...we have something to attend to. Come on, babe," He held Cody’s hand and led him out of the seat, giving Thomas a narrowed look as he walked away.

"Ahh, mission completed. You see guys, I’m still active, contact me for work," Thomas sighed.

Jeremiah frowned as he looked at his brother, "Active for what?" He questioned.

"Well, let’s say, I’m the cupid for everyone in a relationship and anyone who wants to be in a relationship. For example, I can do things for you that will convince Jasper to squeeze your ass as you asked - Ouch! Jerry!" He held his head as Jeremiah used the head of a fork to hit him right on the head.

"Serves you right I’d say," Jasper said calmly.

Andre nodded, "Agreed," He smirked.

Zeno was sitting with them, but it was as good he wasn’t. He’d been quiet from the beginning to the end of the lunch, barely touching his food as he stared out of space.

Andre looked at Zeno and sighed. He’d been monitoring Zeno and realized that he’d been that way for three days. He didn’t know why, and he believed that he wasn’t having any conflicts with their boss since their boss still stared at Zeno as if it was the first day he fell in love with him.

Andre couldn’t help but wonder what was running on Zeno’s mind. Zeno always tried to appear normal in front of Sebastian, but Andre noticed that he wasn’t still happy; he always spaced out and checked his phone more frequently than he breathed.

Something was wrong.

"Zeno, are you okay?" Andre asked, waving in front of Zeno’s face.

Zeno slowly blinked and focused on Andre, who was sitting across from him.

"Yes, Andre, just tired. Are you not? We’ve been running around quite much these few days," Zeno replied.

Andre shared a look with the guys around the table, subtly nodding at them. They were glad to hear that it was just work-related; they feared Zeno might have been facing something more serious than that.

"Yeah, it’s been quite exhausting, but it’s almost over, I believe Bison would be caught this time," Andre assured.

"Mm, um, excuse me, guys, see you guys around," Zeno said and gently stood from the seat.

He managed a smile at everyone before he turned and walked away.

He was leaving because he’d received another message. For three days, he’d been receiving messages from Bisom asking if he had found the secret pen. The more he ignored the messages, the more threatening they became.

He was having cold feet as he walked into the house and hadn’t found time to tell Sebastian; yes, he knew the delay was dangerous, but Nicholas’ revelation made everything so complicated for him. He felt it was too late to speak up; Sebastian would be so disappointed to find out that he knew about Bison even before Pole’s and Nicholas’ revelation, yet he chose to remain quiet.

Zeno was hoping to remain quiet, and just let Sebastian capture first before he finally told him because he also wanted to know the true story behind his parent’s death.

He went in and realized that everywhere was quiet, as it’s been for days, Sebastian spent most of his time inside his office with Ezra and Nicholas, and Zeno joined in sometimes, but he only stayed for the part that concerned him, after that, he excused himself and left, even though he knew Sebastian didn’t want him to leave his side but he couldn’t stay, just was seating up at him.

He’d missed sharing a bed with Sebastian and he was hoping to do it tonight.

Who knows, maybe good sex could loosen his lips and make him say, ’Fuck it all,’ and then tell Sebastian every dang thing he’d been holding in for long.

He hurried up to his room and quickly showered, wearing nothing but loose shorts as he sprayed some mild fragrance onto the skin of his neck. He was ready for seduction; he needed the power of orgasm to make him bold; at least, he knew that Sebastian wouldn’t be that mad after an orgasm.

He stared at himself in the mirror and was glad he had a killer body, not as hot as Sebastian’s, but hot enough to get Sebastian hot for him.

He left his room and journeyed down to the living room.

Zeno paused in front of the stairs when he saw Sebastian sitting on the sofa. He had thought he would still be inside his office, but it turned out he was out.

Zeno felt Sebastian’s eyes lock onto his body the moment he saw him. He sighed and slowly walked over to him.

"Hey..." He said softly.

"Hey..." Sebastian eyes Zeno hotly; he moves to the edge of the sofa and holds Zeno’s wrist, gently pulling him closer and hugging him around the waist.

Zeno smiled and massaged Sebastian’s head with his gentle fingers.

Sebastian slowly lifted his face and placed feathery kisses along Zeno’s waistline; then he lifted his head to stare at Zeno, "What’s this, Baby girl? Walking around shirtless and in these shorts, are you trying to secure me?" He narrowed his dark eyes at Zeno, his hands went under Zeno’s shorts and snuck it in behind Zeno, sliding it up to his smooth cheek and squeezing it.

Zeno shrugged, "If you see it that way...I just thought the weather was hot so I decided to skip clothes," He replied, biting his lips as Sebastian’s hand gently massaged his ass.

"I don’t think so, baby girl; I think you wanted my attention; you’ve got it now; tell me what you want me to do," Sebastian’s voice was commanding and soothing at the same time.

Zeno stared at Sebastian’s handsome face, his hands cupping Sebastian’s defined jawline, "I think I just need to drink some water; it’s getting quite hot in here," He caressed Sebastian’s jaw.

Sebastian chuckled sexily, "That’s true..." He leaned his face down and kissed Zeno’s election through his shorts, "It’s getting really hot in there," He hooked a finger in Zeno’s shorts and was about to pull it down but Zeno stepped away, smiling.

"I’ll just stick to water," Zeno said and walked into the kitchen.

Sebastian smiled; he knew that Zeno wanted to be naughty, and he would play along with him.

He stood from the sofa and pulled his shirt off his body before walking toward the kitchen where Zeno was busy searching for water in the fridge.

Sebastian walked in behind Zeno and placed his hand on Zeno’s waist, pulling him in front of him.

Zeno was quiet but aroused, his hand tightened around the bottle of water he was holding. He felt the warmth of Sebastian’s naked chest and the warmth probing his ass too.

Sebastian leaned his face down to Zeno’s neck, "Now, we’re both hot... can you feel it?" He pushed his hips closer to Zeno’s ass.

Zeno sighed, "Maybe you need some water too," Zeno slowly turned and faced Sebastian.

He slowly opened the bottle and locked his gaze on Sebastian as he poured some of the water on Sebastian’s naked chest.

Sebastian didn’t move; he watched Zeno use his hands to distribute the water to other places it hadn’t touched, "Zeno..." He held Zeno’s hand when he started circling his nipple.

"What? You said you were hot, I’m just helping you cool off," Zeno spoke quietly.

He poured another water on Sebastian and watched it run down his abs and disappear into his pants, "I know just where needs the water more," Zeno poured the water in his hand and traced it down to Sebastian’s waistline and paused.

He hooked his other hand around Sebastian’s neck and drew his head down, "Kiss me," he ordered.

Sebastian was turned on by Zeno’s bold seduction, he stared at Zeno’s lips for some time before covering the distance between them.

He kissed Zeno’s lips possessively, he never got enough of him. He felt like Zeno became more beautiful with each passing day, beautiful and hot, making it hard for him to ever resist him.

He pushed his tongue into Zeno’s mouth the moment Zeno pushed his hand into his pants.

He shut his eyes and breathed harshly as Zeno’s hand pumped his shaft inside his pants. He groaned and kissed Zeno’s neck, sniffing him, "Damn it, Zeno, you’re really out to get me killed," He muttered sexily.

Zeno smiled and lowered his head to Sebastian’s chest, circling a nipple with his tongue before covering it with his lips, sucking it sensually.

"Fuck," Sebastian gently stepped away.

"Enough, baby girl," He held Zeno’s hand and drew him to the counter, "All you need to do is to bend over and scream, honey...cause I going to make you scream," Sebastian’s husky voice whispered beside Zeno’s ear before he forcefully pulled Zeno’s pants down and pushed his finger into him.

Chapter 134

Zeno was standing with Ida and other bodyguards in front of Sebastian’s mansion.

They were getting ready to trail behind Nicholas who was going to meet his father that day.

Zeno was so confident that he would have told Sebastian about Bison yesterday, but after their session in the kitchen, they had barely made it to the living room when Nicholas barged in and showed them the latest message from Bison.

Bison had threatened Nicholas to meet him at a certain location. If not, he would kill his mother, who lived in Australia.

Sebastian had first thought that Nicholas shouldn’t go, but after a second thought, he decided to let him go.

But, of course, Nicholas wasn’t going alone; Sebastian and his men would trail behind him, leaving a reasonable distance between him and them.

"What taking Nichilas so long?" Jeremiah asked, tapping his hand on top of the car he was living beside.

Ida shrugged, "Probably going over what he’s going to say to his father," he replied.

Zeno was typing on his phone and gently dropped it on top of the car when he heard their conversation.

"Yeah, it’s taking quite some time. I guess he’s getting fixed up, you know the microphones and trackers," Je informed.

"Oh, that makes sense now. But, do you all think Bison would actually hurt his own son?" Cody questioned.

"Yes," Jeremiah and Andre replied at the same time.

Ida chuckled, shaking his head at them.

"If you mean a funeral who hasn’t seen his son for over fifteen years, then, yes, he could kill him. He’s even threatening to kill his own wife, the man’s sadistic," Andre mentioned.

"Hmm, you’ve got a point," Cody mumbled.

"I’ll be right back; I’ll go check in on them," Zeno said and walked away.

He wondered just how bad Bison was; he couldn’t believe he almost fell for him when he told him that he wanted to bring justice by exposing Mr. Orion; as he saw it, this was an underworld completion, just a mafia trying to eliminate another mafia, there was nothing new to their storyline.

He walked through the gates just at the same time Sebastian, Ezra, and Nicholas were coming out of the house.

"What’s wrong?" Sebastian asked as he saw Zeno walking toward them.

Zeno shook his head, "Nothing, I just wanted to check on you guys," He said, stopping beside Sebastian.

"Check on us? Or just him?" Ezra pointed to Sebastian.

Nicholas frowned and walked ahead, "Let him be, Ezra,"

Ezra smiled at Zeno and followed Nicola out of the gates.

Sebastian drew Zeno closer, "So? Did you really want to tell.me something?" He asked.

Zeno shook his head, "Not really, I just wanted to make sure we got there in time,"

"Don’t worry, we will," He kissed his cheek and was about to step back when his face changed.

Zeno became confused when Sebastian’s face turned angry in an instant. "Hey, what’s the problem?" He questioned softly.

"Ah, looks like I was interrupting something romantic," Kenji’s voice spoke from behind Zeno.

Zeno immediately knew the reason why Sebastian was angry. He didn’t like Kenji, and he didn’t trust him either.

Were they busted?

He slowly stepped away from Sebastian and faced Kenji.

Kenji smiled at Zeno, "Hi, Zeno. Now I see why my dear friend never told you I like you. He’s head over heels for you. You could have just said so, Sebastian, I would understand," He said.

Sebastian’s frown remained, "What are you doing here, Kenji?" He asked.

"Oh," He put his hand into his pocket and got out a small gift box, "I don’t think it is still important; my sister asked me to bring this to you. I’ll just return to her-"

"Don’t," Sebastian cut him off.

Kenji frowned and stared at Zeno, "Does your boyfriend want to take my sister’s gift? Does he know what it means? He’s cheating on you, right in front of you," He smirked.

Zeno sighed, glancing at Sebastian.

He didn’t know how to react; all he knew was that he wasn’t comfortable with Jenjo knowing about them, and he didn’t trust him.

Sebastian scoffed, "I’m not taking it; you’re keeping it. I might not be interested in your sister the way she is with me, but that doesn’t mean that I’ll be cruel to her. Just hold onto it, tell her I wasn’t home when you came. I’ll give her a call myself when we return. I’ll tell her myself," He instructed.

"Yes, boss," Kenji smirked and walked toward the gate.

"Kenji?" Sebastian called before he could walk out of the gate.

"What else do you want, your majesty?" Kenji mocked.

"Keep your mouth locked," Sebastian warned.

Kenji smiled, "Ah, from tour old man? Sure. Friends help out each other, right? See you around, lover boy," He said and turned away, walking out of the gates this time.

Zeno turned to Sebastian, "Do you think he’ll tell your father?" He asked.

Sebastian sighed, "I don’t know. But if he does, you don’t have to worry; if he does, you don’t have to worry about it; I’ll handle it," He kissed Zeno and led him out of the gates.

They walked toward Sebastian’s car and were about to enter it when Ida walked up to them.

"Boss," Ida called.

Zeno and Sebastian turned to look at Ida and Zeko immediately noticed that Ida looked disappointed... disappointed at him.

"What’s wrong, Ida?" Zeno asked.

Ida sighed and stretched out his hand to Sebastian.

Zeno’s eyes widened when he saw his phone in Ida’s hand; his heart instantly flew, racing wildly; he was soon going to face a nightmare.

He wished he hadn’t dropped his phone on top of the car and forgotten it, now look where he was heading.

"This is your phone," Sebastian wanted to return the phone to Zeno but Ida stopped him.

"Take a look at the messages, Boss. I apologize for invading his privacy, but when I saw those texts, I knew I had to bring it to your notice. Even if it meant severing my friendship with Zeno," Ida explained.

Zeno felt fear enclose around his chest, "Ida..."

Ida turned away from him, angry.

Sebastian stared at Zeno, who was no longer looking at him, and then looked at the phone in his hands.

Zeno bit his lips nervously as he saw Sebastian’s features lose all smiles and softness. He looked more dangerous than the devil himself.

His hands clasped around the phone as he slowly turned to Zeno, raising the phone to Zeno’s face, "Tell me all these are fake, Zeno," His voice was pleading but his face already showed that he believed what he’d seen.

Zeno glanced at his screen and saw all the texts that Bison had been sending him. He even saw a new text below the one he read last.

All the text had the same message: the pen, the deadline, and the promise of what would happen 8f he failed to provide the pen.

"It’s true," Zeno admitted.

"Fuck!" Sebastian slammed his hand against the window, roughly pushing his finger into his hair.

That got the att5od everyone, they slowly started to walk toward Sebastian and Zeno, curious to see what was going on.

"Calm down, Seb, I can-"

"Don’t fucking touch me! Why do you always have to do this? Why, Zeno!" Sebastian growled, slamming the phone on top of the car.

"I’m sorry, Sebastian. But this is what I’ve been meaning to tell you, but I never got the chance. You promised not to get angry, you promised to listen to my explanation," Zeno pleaded.

Ida scoffed, "Yeah, listen to your lies,"

"Shut up, Ida. This is none of your business," Zeno glared at Ida.

"It is, I’m protecting my boss," Ida stated boldly.

Zeno frowned, "I’m trying to speak to my boyfriend, Ida, can you not do this now, please?" He sighed tiredly.

"I don’t think you still hold that status, Zeno-"

"Quiet!" Sebastian shunned both of them, turning to glare at Zeno, his chest rising and falling in anger.

"I’m a man of my word, Zeno. I did promise to listen to you. We’ll do that when we get back, and I do hope, I really do hope, that you make it make sense, Mr. Evader. If not, I can’t promise you’ll be happy with the result," Sebastian warned and walked off.

"Happy?" Zeno asked Ida.

"Sure, I’m always happy to expose a liar and deceiver," Ida smirked.

"I’m none of those, Ida. Keep your mouth shut if you don’t know the full story," Zeno said.

Ida scoffed, "What other stories do I have to know? I wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve fucked Bison too - Fuck!" Ida reeled back from the harsh push Zeno gave his chest.

He immediately attacked Zeno with a jab on the face, causing blood to flow out of his nose.

Zeno staggered back and leaned on the car.

Cody immediately came forward and held Ida, who was going forward for another hit "Stop it, Ida! Enough!" He pulled Ida back.

Zeno touched his nose, his finger staining with blood, he sighed, "Happy?" He asked Ida.

"You asked for it," Ida eyed Zeno angrily and snatched his hand away from Cody before storming off angrily.

Cody gave Zeno a short look before walking off.

Everyone had gone to enter the vehicle that would be driving them off, except Zeno. He didn’t know who to join, no one wanted him beside them at the moment, especially Sebastian.

He stood there, watching the cars driving off one after the other.

Sebastian reached his front and slowed down, the driver’s window winded down to show Andre’s face, "The boss had asked for you to stay back, Zeno. He said he can’t take someone who might end up betraying him," Andre delivered the message and drove off.

Zeno stood in front of the mansion, letting the weight of his reality settle on him. "I deserved it this time," He muttered.

He recalled the betrayed look he saw on Sebastian’s face and a tear slipped down from the side of his eyes.

He wiped it off and took out a bandana from his pocket to wipe his bleeding nose.

However, before he could successfully get the bandana out of his pocket, he felt a very insignificant sting on his neck, and before he could raise his hand to touch his neck, he blacked out and fell to the floor.

His past thoughts went out to Sebastian and his Nana; he wished them happiness, just in case he never got to see them again.

He knew it was Bison’s men who had come for him, hopefully, they wouldn’t drag Sebastian into his mess.

Chapter 135

"Keep an eye on him," Sebastian spoke to Ida through his phone.

His eyes were staring out of the car, watching Ida, who was hiding behind a building a distance.

Their car was parked far away from the building Nicholas had entered, but it was close to the building Ida was hiding behind.

They had thought the location would be isolated and far away from the city, but it wasn’t.

It was a hotel located right in the heart of the city, busy as ever; somehow, Sebastian liked the venue; it made it easier for them to blend in with the crowd.

Ezra, who was sitting beside Sebastian in the car suddenly spoke up, "Sebastian?" He called quietly, frowning.

Sebastian sighed and turned to him not saying a word.

"Don’t you think it’s weird?" Ezra questioned.

Sebastian frowned slightly as he couldn’t understand what Ezra was talking about.

"What do you mean?" Sebastian asked.

Ezra pointed to his ear to the earpiece that was connected to Nicholas, "I think k maybe mine is broken," he said.

Sebastian frowned harder, "I’m not in the mood for your jokes, Ezra, just say whatever it is you want to say," he turned away and looked at Ida; he wasn’t alone; Jasper had met him and was whispering something to him.

"It’s Nicholas; I can’t hear him speaking with anyone; shouldn’t he have reached the room by now?" Ezra questioned.

"Nicholas is fine; I can hear his footsteps, and don’t forget that some men are already watching him in the building; nothing will happen to him," Sebastian assured.

Ezra shook his head, "That’s the problem, I know he is safe, but I just feel like he’s too safe. I just feel like this is a trap; if there was really someone waiting for him in that building, then they should have been speaking by now," He explained.

Sebastian frowned, understanding what Ezra was trying to say. "Then, what have they distracted us from? They certainly can’t enter my home and touch anyone, what could they be playing at?" He was getting kind of anxious, something wasn’t sitting well with the way everything was playing out.

"Andre," He called.

"Yes, boss," Andre answered from the front seat.

"Put Nicholas on the screen," He ordered.

He had attached one of his micro security cameras on Nicholas’ shirt, to aid them see his surroundings.

"Yes, boss," Andre answered again.

"I don’t think it’s necessary," Ezra said.

"Why?" Sebastian asked.

Ezra pointed ahead, "Here he comes," He announced, pointing at Nicholas, who was walking back with the bodyguards that had sneaked in with him.

Sebastian was left confused, "What the hell is going on?" He muttered and got out of the car.

He walked over to Nicholas and took off the earpiece from his ears as he no longer needed it, Nicholas was standing right in front of him.

"What’s this, Nicholas? What happened?" He questioned seriously, tapering down his anger.

Nicholas looked angry as well, "I don’t know either, but it’s obvious he’d tricked us. Look what I saw on the floor of the room we were supposed to meet," Nicholas handed Sebastian a black envelope.

Sebastian was apprehensive, "What’s in it?" He asked cautiously.

"I don’t know, I didn’t open it as the writing asked," Nicholas pointed at the red write-up in front of the envelope.

Sebastian looked down and saw the "Only for Mr. Orion." that was written on the envelope.

He frowned and took the envelope from Nicholas.

He opened it and slid out the white paper from it, "If you’re reading this means you have fallen for my trick. It was nice toying with you, I will send an email to my son. Don’t worry; this time, it will be with the real location and my real interest. Drive home safe. I’ve got a surprise for you," Sebastian read it out loud.

"What a psycho," Nicholas scoffed.

"I see where you got it from," Exra said beside Sebastian.

"Not now, Doc," Nicholas said with a serious expression.

Sebastian sighed, "We better get going, just in case he really wants to try something funny," He quickly turned and walked back to the car.

"You alright?" Ezra asked Nicholas.

Nicholas ignored him and walked away.

"You’re alright," Ezra cleared his throat and walked behind him.

As they drove back, Sebastian could not help feeling anxious but he dismissed it. It must be because of Zeno’s actions. He was wondering if Zeno knew that Bison was going to do this and still decided not to tell him.

He was hurt, and he hated that he had to start retracting his trust from Zeno.

He’d given him so many chances, he’d done all his best to see that he never let Zeno go. But after this, he wasn’t so sure where their relationship was heading.

What Zeno did this time was out of the fucking charts. He was communicating with the enemy. He’d forgiven him for the deal he had with his father because, at the end of the day, his father was still family and just simply wanted his son to get married and find a mother for his grandson.

However, Bison was on a whole new level.

Zeno knew the danger that Bison was; he had threatened to kill Ken, he had attacked them, hell, Zeno himself had even been shot by Bison’s men, yet he chose to work with him.

Sebastian was disappointed in Zeno; at the end of the day, nothing lasts forever. He was going to prioritize his family’s security first, he had thought that he could make Zeno a part of the family, but as it turned out, he had to let Zeno go. He can’t bring someone untrustworthy into his family, someone he couldn’t trust blindly.

They said love was blind and foolish, but in this case, he wasn’t going to follow that rule; he was going to make the right choices, even if it meant letting go of the one person who had become one part of his life.

They reached the mansion and Sebastian frowned when the car in front of them stopped, not entering the gate.

Sebastian saw Cody get out of the car and walk in front of it.

He immediately got out to check what was going on, "What are you doing," He asked Cody, who was squatting to retrieve something from the ground.

"I think this is Zeno’s phone...and this," Cody handed Sebastian the phone with another black envelope.

Sebastian’s heart skipped a beat the moment he saw the phone and the envelope. His mind played so many scenarios in his head of what might have happened, and in all the scenarios, it always ended the same way: Zeno was hurt.

He snatched the phone and envelope, quickly tearing the envelope open.

"What does it say?" Ezra asked.

Ezra and Nicholas had walked out to see what was going on, they were surprised to find another envelope in Sebastian’s hand.

Sebastian had a huge frown on his face, he slowly handed the paper in his hand to Ezra, muttering under his breath and leaning on the car behind him.

He looked helpless as if his world was crumbling down on him.

"Surprise!" Ezra read quietly.

Nicholas stared into the paper and saw that what Ezra had read was truly the only thing written on it.

"They’ve kidnapped Zeno," Ezra stated.

"Thanks for pointing that out," Sebastian said angrily.

"Give me your phone, I’m calling him," Sebastian said to Nicholas.

Nicholas shook his head, "I don’t think it is wise, Sebas -"

"Give me the damn phone!" He growled, grabbing Nicholas’ collar.

Ezra held Sebastian’s shoulder, "Hey, man, chill. We’re all here to help you out; don’t take it out on him; it’s not your fault." He gently removed Sebastian’s hand from Nicholas.

"It’s his fault; being Bison’s don is already enough reason to hate him," Sebastian spat out.

"Mind your words, Sebastian; I, too, am facing my own challenges from my so-called father," Nicholas sighed.

"I don’t have time for rubbish talks, just give me your damn phone," Sebastian ordered.

Nicholas sighed; he took his phone out of his pocket and was about to give it to Sebastian when an email notification entered his phone.

"Take it, it’s for you, after all," Nicholas gave Sebastian the phone.

Sebastian snatched the phone out of his hands and clicked on the email.

"The mother fucker dropped the location, I’m heading there right away," He said and threw the phone back to Nicholas.

"For fuck’s sake!" Ezra drew Sebastian back, blocking his path.

"Get out of my way, Ezra," Sebastian warned.

"Is something wrong with you?! How could you just go in blindly into an enemy’s Den?" Ezra asked heatedly.

"You expect me to sit and wait for him to hurt Zeno? Kill him?" Sebastian frowned.

"I’m saying, calm down, plan, and then you can go," Ezra suggested calmly.

"He’s calling me," Nicholas announced, holding his phone up.

Before anyone could stop him, Sebastian snatched the phone and answered the call.

"Bison, you have less than an hour to release my bodyguard," Sebastian seethed.

Bison’s chuckle sounded through the phone, "Aww, how sweet. You don’t have to hide it from me, I know he’s your dirty little secret," He laughed.

Sebastian gritted his teeth; this was one of his reasons for not announcing their relationship; his enemies were all waiting for his weakness to attack him with him.

Now, his fear was coming through, "What do you want, Bison?" Sebastian asked, balling his fists.

"Ah, you see, I thought I was going to speak to my son, but it’s okay, I can tell you. Sebastian Orion, you know what I want. Eleven in the morning, the location I sent, only Nicholas should come with the pen, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about," Bison informed and ended the call.

"Mother fucker!" Sebastian growled.

Chapter 136

Zeno regained consciousness but took his time to move. He quietly assessed his situation; as expected, his wrists were chained behind him, and his ankles were also bound.

Contrary to what he had anticipated, he wasn’t sitting in a chair. Instead, he was lying on a very cold floor.

His back ached, making him wonder how long he had been in that uncomfortable position.

He felt no reflection in his closed lids, which told him that he was either in a poorly dimmed-lighted room or a very dark room; he didn’t hear anyone either, asking him to believe he was either alone or was quietly being watched.

He decided to open his eyes and that’s when he saw that the room was truly dark, but the door was opened, leading to another room that was properly lighted.

He blinked and tried to focus his vision inside the room but he still didn’t find anyone in there.

He sighed and slowly tried to lift himself in a sitting position but he failed on his first try. He tried again, rolling himself to the cold wall and placing his shoulder on it, grunting as he used his core power to lift himself to a sitting position.

He groaned quietly when his hands ached; the chain was very tight around his wrists, causing him to be his lips to stop himself from groaning and alerting the people who might be in the other room.

However, his efforts went in vain, he soon heard footsteps approaching his room.

He knew it was inevitable; he only hoped he wouldn’t end up losing his life. He stared at the door in antic, waiting to see who was going to emerge through it.

He instantly recognized the figure of the man standing in front of the door, even in darkness, he would know Bison. The light from the other room made his shadow slide into the room, stopping right in front of Zeno.

"You’re awake," Bison said.

Zeno didn’t respond; he kept his eyes on Bison as he walked into the room; there was no need to converse with this kind of man; he was all about manipulation and evil, and there was never going to be any good from speaking with Bison.

He blamed himself for his situation, he was the fool for believing Bison blindly without speaking to Sebastian, and now, he wasn’t even sure if Sebastian would bother to search for him after discovering his involvement with Bison; Sebastian might even think that his disappearance was still part of the plan with Bison.

Zeno felt helpless; he wished his parent had never gotten in that accident in the first place; he would never have been in any of this condition, but he wouldn’t also have met Sebastian; meeting Sebastian was a part of his journey which he would never regret.

If he was ever going to leave Sebastian, he wouldn’t want to leave him with resentment; he wanted to have a chance to explain everything to him; at least, Sebastian would know that he had never betrayed him, not even for once.

The light suddenly went on in the room, causing Zeno to narrow his eyes. He saw Bison standing in front of him, his foot slowly tapping on the floor.

"You’ve chosen not to speak to me?" Bison asked.

Zeno frowned, "There was no need, you’ll still do what you want after all,"

Bison chuckled, "You’re right, I always do what I want, Zeno, just like I’m going to get that pen first thing tomorrow morning," He informed and walked away, going to drag a chair from the corner.

He placed the chair in front of Zeno and sat down, smirking at him. "It’s a shame you didn’t reply to my messages; I had to take matters into my own hands; I hate wasting time, Mr. Evader," Bison crossed his legs, his eyes looking Zeno up and down.

Zeno slowly looked up at Bison, his face expressionless, "You’re not getting that, Pen, Bison; Sebastian is no fool," His voice was calm.

Bison smiled, "But you see, love is foolish, don’t you believe?"

Zeno frowned, wondering where Bison was going with his speech.

"Don’t act surprised, I saw you guys in Japan. You g love is always so sweet. So, do you still think I wouldn’t get the pen? Romeo would want to save his Juliet, or in your case, it’s Romeo saving Romeo," He laughed evilly.

Zeno balled his fists behind him, he wished he could just put a bullet between the man’s head and end all this. He was sure Nicholas would be thankful to him for skiing his father.

"You’re still not getting it. Sebastian and I broke up, he won’t come looking for me, just give up already," Zeno told him.

Bison shook his head, "It doesn’t matter. Take this as my way of giving you both closure; I know you seek it. I’m not promising that any of you will leave this place alive, but I’m kind enough to let you day your last goodbyes," he chuckled.

Zeno was angry, he hated that man so much. "Why are you doing all this, Bison? Is it going to be worth it in the end? Why not just let everyone be and mind your own damn business," He suggested angrily.

"I wish I could. To answer your question, yes, it’s going to be very worth it in the end, I’m sure by now you’ve figured that I’m the bad guy. You see, that secret pen, it’s my evidence that’s in there. That foolish man has been using it to control me and my business for so long, I need to destroy it, so yes, it’d going to be very worth it, my dear boy," Bison informed.

Zeno slowly nodded, "I knew it," He muttered.

"Mmm, it’s unfortunate I had to kill your parents, and you’re lucky you took your Grandma to a hospital that is protected by Orion’s men..." He chuckled, "I would have killed her a very long time ago too," He smirked at Zeno.

Zeno felt a slow simmering rage building within him, he stared at Bison’s face for a very long time, his eyes conveying his emotions, "Then, I hope you’re a man of your word, make sure I don’t get out of here alive, I promise, I’ll send you right where you sent my parents," He was breathing heavily with anger.

Bison was still smirking, "Trust me, I will. However, if your parents never recorded me in that room, they would have still been alive body. My condition is live a boomerang effect, it backfired on me. In case you don’t know my job, I harvest organs, sell them, and make a filthy amount of money, that’s what I plan to do with you, you’re young, and your organs will fetch me quite a sum, I might recover what your parents made me lose," He sighed in satisfaction.

"Bastard," Zeno cursed.

A young man suddenly walked into the room, bowing to Bison. "Boss, Mr. Orion’s men have been sighted around the area; they seem to be planning an attack," The man informed.

"Let them, we’ll be ready when they are," He waved his hands dismissively.

The young man bowed and walked away.

Bison smiled at Zeno, "You see? I told you that life makes people foolish. Sebastian thinks abusing my territory at night would give him a headstart in the morning, too bad, he’s going to meet his doom if he fails to cooperate with me,"

"So...my house, Mr. Orion was never there, right? You made that up too," Zeno asked.

Bison shook his head, "That wasn’t a lie, he was indeed in your house. However he wasn’t the one who did that to your house, it was all me, my boy, I went to do a little search for the pen, but your stupid parents had given it to your boyfriend’s father. He was just there to check for damages; he’s such a good man that he immediately has people repairing the place for you; too bad you’re never going to live there again," Bisom stood and dragged the chair back to where he got it from.

"You’re parents worked for Mr. Orion, just like I told you. I never thought my actions would backfire, I had used one of Mr. Orion’s secrete warehouses to harvest a few organs in the hope of recording the bodies and telling the world that he was the one who did it, unfortunately, your nosy parents worked in his security department, they saw the footage, instead of minding their business, they sent it to him, so I had to kill them, I hate it when people mind my business,"

He turned back to Zeno, "He’s been keeping you away from me, Zeno, he knows what I’ll do to you if I found you, he kept you with his son to protect you, but here you are, right where you’re supposed to be," He picked up a bat from the table at the corner of the room, walking back to Zeno with malicious purpose.

"You think you’re going to get what you want?" Zeno scoffed.

Bison nodded, "I’m already halfway there, you idiot," He raised his head and hit Zeno’s head with the bat, knocking him out.

Zeno fell to the floor with a thud, feeling his consciousness fade away at a slow but steady speed.

Chapter 137

At Sebastian’s command, Andre was driving the car speedily through the dark roads; Ezra and Nicholas sat in the car with him, each on their anxiousness.

"Sebastian, I still think that this is a bad idea. Bison asked Nicholas to come alone, yet here we are, driving right into his trap. Do you think he isn’t aware that we’re coming?" Ezra questioned calmly.

Sebastian remained quiet, he was too conflicted to argue.

"Listen, I know everything seems wrong right now, especially with you and your father, but riding yourself into danger is not the best approach to this situation," Exra tried to reason with Sebastian again, but he was met with silence once again.

"Let him be, Ezra. He already had something planned out," Nicholas said, staring blankly out of the window.

Ezra sighed, "Right... hey, how about you? At the end of the day, it’s your father we’re taking as the enemy, how are you holding up?" He asked Nicholas, who was sitting beside him behind the car.

Nicholas shrugged, "He’s not my father; I don’t have one. Someone who had tried to kill his own wife and child is not fit to be called father; I disowned him a decade-plus ago; he’s dead to me," he said, still looking out of the window.

Ezra slowly nodded; he gently placed his hand on Nicholas’ thighs, "You might hate me, Nick, but I’m telling you that you can actually come to me if you’re ever lonely; I make a good friend; you can ask Sebastian," He smiled at Nicholas.

Nicholas sighed and removed Ezra’s hand from his thigh.

"Stop the car, Andre," Sebastian ordered from the front seat.

"Yes, boss," Andre replied and stopped the car a little distance from huge, black gates.

Ezra frowned, "So? We’re just going to -"

"Follow me, Nicholas," Sebastian pushed the door open and got out of the car.

"Of course, we’re just going to barge in like we own the place," Ezra muttered and also got out of the car.

"You’ll stay in the car, Doc," Sebastian said.

Ezra narrowed his eyes, "Why?"

"One of us has to be ready to drive us away," Sebastian told him.

"Come on," He looked at Nicholas and started walking toward the gate.

He had sent his men, and some of his father’s men, to come and surround the place; he also sent a message to Bison and told him that those men weren’t a threat; they had just surrounded the hideout to make sure that nothing happens to him as he arrived.

"Sir, Bison’s bodyguards willingly left the gate as we arrived; I think he’s trying to double-cross you, boss," Ida said to Sebastian as he approached the gates.

"Do you trust him?" Sebastian questioned Ida; the rest of the bodyguards were seriously facing their duty post, ready to fight if the need arose.

"No, boss," Ida answered.

"Then stop complaining," Sebastian glared at Ida.

Ida bowed his head, "I’m sorry, boss," He apologized.

"Call him, Nicholas, and tell him we’re ready to give him the pen," Sebastian told his friend.

Nicholas slowly nodded and reluctantly took his phone out.

He was wondering why Sebastian came up with such a stupid plan; what made him think that Bison would easily let him walk away after he had given him the pen? He knew the man who was supposed to be his father, and what he knew about him was that he wasn’t to be trusted; he was evil and sinister, and the devil would be left shocked at what his father could do to his fellow humans.

And yet, Sebastian had easily decided to walk in and simply deliver the pen to the monster; this mission was blind to end up in a bad way; something drastic and bad was about to happen, and Nicholas and everyone else could feel it.

"Hello, we have the pen you wanted," Nicholas spoke into the phone when the call was answered.

"Come right in, son," Biosn chuckled and ended the call.

Soon, the electric gate started to roll open, revealing a dark compound. A few uncompleted infrastructures were sitting around the compound, but one tall building sat at the center, and without asking, they knew that that was where Bison and his men were staying.

"Let’s go," Sebastian said and waved his hand to his men.

The bodyguards divided themselves in half and followed Sebastian and Nicholas inside.

As they walked toward the building, they couldn’t still find any of Bison’s men. The whole place was quiet as if it had been abandoned, but they knew better.

They all knew that danger was calmly waiting for them to walk through the door before it attacked them.

They reached the door and just like the gates, it opened on its own, revealing a very dark hall.

"Go in," Sebastian ordered a few men.

The bodyguards immediately troop inside the building, scattering to observe the place for any hiding danger at any corner.

"It’s clear, boss," Ida announced.

Sebastian nodded at Nicholas and they walked in together.

The moment they walked in, the lights came on in the empty hall, shining very bright and almost blinding to the eyes.

Sebastian squinted his eyes, taking in the surroundings. The whole place looked like it was being renovated for some kind of laboratory, and he knew why.

Bison wants to turn the place into his laboratory where he could easily do his dirty business of harvesting human brains illegally.

They suddenly heard the sound of metal creaking from the right side of the hall; Sebastian turned his face and stared, but he couldn’t see anything moving.

Soon, a hushing round was heard as a part of the metal wall slid open to reveal the inside of an elevator.

"What the fuck is he playing at?" Nicholas muttered.

The sound of a speaker trying to connect sounded all around the room, making Sebastian frown and turn his head around in search of the source.

"The ride is for just two people; Sebastian and Nicholas. You have sixty seconds to get to me, or I’ll start harvesting my new donor, TikTok... your time starts now," Bison disconnected the speaker with an abrupt click.

"Fuck, move, Nicholas," Sebastian grabbed Nicholas’ hand and ran toward the elevator that had started to slowly slide closed.

"Asshole," Nicholas cursed out as he panted heavily inside the metal elevator.

Sebastian was quiet, but his face spoke volumes; a lot of things were running through his mind, and only he knew that there was no way he was going to come out of this situation happy.

Whether he survived or not, he knew he still had other issues to face. He wished Bison was his only problem, but he wasn’t; Bison was just a delay to what was surely going to happen.

"You don’t leave my side. Understand?" Sebastian asked, glancing at his friends beside him.

"Yes..." Nicholas replied; he never imagined that meeting his father again would be this threatening; he hated that man so much that if he had his way, he’d kill him by himself.

The elevator soon came to a stop, and the hissing sound was heard once again as the door opened.

Sebastian was the first to walk out, and he was starting to wonder if darkness was one of Bison’s methods of torture or some sort of weird hobby.

"We’re here, Bison; you can turn on your lights now," Sebastian said, putting his hands inside his pocket.

Nicholas stood beside Sebastian, his heart slowly starting to beat faster than usual.

Nobody replied; the place was gravely quiet and they could only hear the sounds of their controlled breathing.

Sebastian was about to say something else when he felt a hand on his shoulder, and he knew that the hand didn’t belong to Nicholas.

"Welcome, Sebastian," Bison’s voice sounded behind them, startling Nicholas.

Sebastian gritted his teeth, controlling the strong urge to punch Bison.

"Turn on the lights," Bison commanded.

The lights came up, and the first thing that first thing Sebastian saw was Zeno’s unconscious body hanging upside down from a chain connected to the roof.

His fists balled his fists inside his pockets, anger filling his chest, he saw how Zeno looked so beaten up and tired, but in the end, he couldn’t go to save him.

Armed men marched out from the corners, facing them with arms, pointing it right at them.

"Welcome, son," Bison held Nicholas’ hand and stepped in front of him, smiling.

"You’ve grown, and oh, you have your mother’s eyes," Bison smiled, his hand raising to touch Nicholas’ cheek.

"Get your fucking hands off me," Nicholas slapped Bison’s hand away.

Sebastian immediately held Nicholas’ shoulder, giving him a warning look.

"Control yourself, Nicholas," Sebastian warned quietly.

Bison chuckled, rubbing his wrist that was slapped by Nicholas.

"You know... I’m glad I left you; I wouldn’t have wanted a son like you and would have probably killed you the moment you came out of the fucking closet, but it’s not too late; I can still do that today. My blood runs in your veins, Nicholas, and I will never let anyone who I sired to guck his fellow man kneel, Nicholas," Bison commanded, suddenly pointing a gun at Nicholas.

"Bison -"

"Quiet!" Bison turned the gun to Sebastian.

"I’m not your father, but I’ll help the world by ridding it of faggots like you three, after collecting the pen from you, of course," His eyes were filled with evil glint as he spoke to Sebastian.

Sebastian gritted his teeth and went quiet; it wasn’t time to speak yet.

"Now, Nicholas, Kneel," Bison ordered.

Sebastian couldn’t stand it, he suddenly pulled something out of his, pocket and raised it in front of him.

"How about this?" He asked.

Bison paused and turned to Sebastian, his face lighting up the moment he saw the pen, "Ahh, that’s right...the most important object of the night; I could always kill you both later," He went to collect the pen from Sebastian.

Sebastian didn’t move his hand, but just when. he was sure that Bioson had his hand on the pen, he smartly stepped forward, knocked Bison’s gun off his hand and spun him until his back was pressed on his front.

He twisted Bison’s hands behind him with one of his hands and wrapped the other hand around Bison’s neck.

Bison’s men immediately moved to shoot but Bison stopped them, "Hold your fire, we can tall it out with Mr. Sebastian, right?" Bison asked calmly.

Nicholas immediately bent and picked up the gum that fell from Bison’s hand, pointing right at Bison’s head, "Or, I can kill you right now, and I don’t mind if I die afterwards," Nicholas’ words were laced with hatred.

Bison chuckled.

"Wake him up," Bison ordered.

Before Sebastian could understand what was happening, one of Bison’s men walked toward Zeno and used a heavy metal pipe to him behind the neck.

Chapter 138

THAWCK!!!

Sebastian shut his eyes as the metal pipe landed behind Zeno’s neck.

"What the fuck do you think you’re doing?" Sebastian whispered to Bison, his voice was menacing, a dark promise of doom.

Bison didn’t answer because, in the next second, Zeno started coughing profusely, drawing everyone’s attention to himself.

Sebastian’s hand around Bison’s neck tightened as he watched Zeno struggle against the chains, blood dropped to the floor from his nose and from the area where he’d been hit.

"Let him go, and we can have a nice chat, Bison. Nicholas, catch," Sebastian threw the pen to Nicholas, quickly returning his hand to Bison’s neck.

Bison coughed, chuckling through staring neck, "Oh, Sebastian, you think holding me this way gives you any leverage? Kill him, Blue," Bison ordered.

"Not today," Sebastian threw Bison to the floor and drew a gun from behind his waist, shooting the guy who was almost aiming the gun at Zeno down.

In a matter of seconds, all hell let loose, Bison was in shock as he started to see most of his men falling to the ground as foreign gunshots started spinning around the room.

"Release fire! We’re being attacked," Bison shouted from the floor.

Sebastian’s men somehow managed to enter through the open roof as the building wasn’t entirely completed.

Sebastian already expected them, so he focused on reaching Zeno, freeing him.

Nicholas saw Bison trying to shoot Sebastian and without thinking twice, he shot Bison’s knee, smiling in satisfaction when he heard Bison’s scream of pain and agony.

"You bastard!" Buson snapped his head to Nicholas and glared at him, gritting his teeth in pain.

"No! Don’t!" Bison shouted.

Nicholas spun around to see who Bison was talking to and realized that Bison was stopping one of his men from shooting him.

"Boss? He almost killed you - argh!" The man shouted as Nicholas put a bullet right into the man’s left eye

He quickly turned to Bison and smirked, "Thanks for saving me, but I’m not good at returning favors, old man," Nicholas said, walking closer to Bison, whose knee was bleeding out on the floor.

Bison smiled calmly, opposite of how the whole place was.

"I saved you for myself, Son. I brought you into this world, I’ll take you out myself," He chuckled darkly.

To Nicholas’ surprise, Bison sprung up from the floor and kicked the gun out of his hands, following it up with a heavy slap to Nicholas’ face.

Nicholas staggered back from the force and surprise, wincing.

"You think a graze on my knee would stop me? You’re mistaken," Bison attacked Nicholas again, and the father and son ensued on combat with no familial restraint; each was aiming for the kill at whatever cost that came with it.

Sebastian managed to dodge most of the shots fired at him and the physical attacks from Bison’s men.

He could see that his men were overshadowing Bison’s men, he was momentarily thankful to his father for sending in his men with him.

He reached where Zeno was still hanging upside down and realized that he had fallen unconscious again; pain seized his chest because he knew that Zeno was suffering, and he knew Zeno was still going to suffer more, that was why he kept wishing that Bison’s case was the only serious thing he had to face.

He touched Zeno’s face, frowning when he saw how pale he looked.

He searched around and saw one of Bison’s men coming toward him; he pretended not to see the guy who was speaking up on him with a knife.

Just when the guy was about to piece the knife into Sebastian’s side, Sebastian stepped aside, held the guy’s arm, and twisted it till he heard a pop!

"Argh!!!" The guy screamed and fell to the floor with his dislocated shoulder.

Sebastian immediately bent over, picked up the knife that lay beside the guy, and dragged him up by his collar, ignoring his loud cries, "Now, unlock him," He ordered the guy with a sinister voice.

The guy grunted, "I can’t - Argh!!!" He shouted painfully, his eyes widening in sheer panic and horror as he looked down at his side and saw the knife he previously wanted to stab Sebastian with now deeply embedded inside his stomach; he was still trying to accommodate the excruciating pain when he saw Sebastian’s hand twist the knife inside him.

A loud shrill scream pierced the already noisy atmosphere, drawing a few eyes toward them. By now, Sebastian’s men were taking the upper hand as they kept trooping in from the ceiling, subduing Bison’s men.

"Now, for the last time, release him, the next place will be your eyes, I promise you," Sebastian threatened.

"Yes, yes, I-I will free him, please, please," The guy begged.

"Move!" Sebastian pressed his dislocated shoulder, making the guy cry out in pain.

The guy nodded and pointed his good hand toward a corner, "T-the control is right there, I promise," He stuttered.

"Then go," Sebastian replied.

As they walked away, Sebastian looked back at Zeno and gritted his teeth; he had to get him out of there as a matter of urgency; it was getting to the time of the main action, and he wouldn’t want Zeno to be caught in the crossfire.

As they reached the corner, Sebastian’s hand tightened on the guy’s injured shoulder, "If you try something tricky, you’ll die," He whispered in a deathly manner.

"I know, I know - ugh!" The guy grunted.

The guy led Sebastian to a wall with different control panels, "This is the lever that will gently reduce him to the floor, and this is the button that will unclasp the chains from his legs," He pointed at the panel.

Sebastian pushed the knife deeper, causing the guy to spurt out blood, "Do it, then," He instructed.

"Ugh!" The guy groaned, he was losing his vision.

The guy’s hand was shaking as he raised it to the panel.

Sebastian pushed him closer when he saw the guy was struggling to reach it. He wished the place wasn’t in a hidden corner so he could watch Zeno and make sure he was alright.

"I... I’m done, please, let g-"

Sebastian didn’t let him finish; he slid the knife out from the guy’s stomach and sliced his throat effortlessly, letting the body easily fall out of his hands.

He walked over to the dead body and hurried over to Zeno. However, his blood turned cold when he couldn’t find Zeno anywhere.

He looked around and realized that his men had killed most of Bison’s men and were now holding the very few that were still alive hostage under their loaded guns.

"Boss," Cody held up Nicholas and helped him walk over to Sebastian.

"Where the fuck is Zeno?!" He yelled in anger.

The bodyguards lowered their heads in shame, "We’re sorry, boss, no one e saw when Bison took him," Jeremiah apologized, waking up behind Cidy to help Nicholas by placing Nicholas’

hand over his own shoulder.

Sebastian glared at Nicholas, "Bison? Bison took him? Nicholas, don’t tell me you didn’t kill that bastard when you had the chance?" He was approaching Nicholas’ with slow but deliberate steps.

Nicholas coughed, "I tried, Sebastian, he had his men hold me down... I tried..." He replied.

"What are you all waiting for?! Go search for Zeno, now!" He roared angrily.

"Yes, boss!" The bodyguards chorused and immediately scattered throughout the building.

"The rest of you, take these bastards down," He commanded.

Sebastian walked away from Nicholas and went over to one of Bison’s men, who was being led down the stairs, and roughly dragged him toward himself.

"Open that shutty elevator," He commanded.

The guy nodded and walked over to that same panel where Zeno’s chain lever had been lowered, his body shaking in fear as he saw one of them now lying dead in the pool of his own blood.

He pressed a button, and the sound of metal frictional against each other was heard; soon, the elevator slid open.

"Sir...it’d only open for thirty seconds," the guy cowardly informed.

"Argh!" The guy screamed when he suddenly felt something sharp slice deep into the side of his neck; he saw himself falling on top of his friend, his own blood now mixing with the dark, drying one that had been on the floor; he knew he was going to die.

His jugular vein had been sliced like that of a Christmas chicken, and he knew he had less than three minutes before he died from hypovolemic shock.

Sebastian was long gone, he was already in the elevator with Nicholas, Jeremiah, and Cody.

He heard the speaker connecting again before he heard Bison’s voice inside the elevator.

"It’s been quite exhilarating, I must say, Sebastian. You’re quite tougher than I thought. Now, let’s cut to the chase, my reinforcement will be here in a few minutes if you want to leave this place with your cute little boyfriend, I suggest you be a good boy and hand me the pen, I promise, I’ll let you walk out of here alive, if not, I’ll lock you on here, make sure you can’t find me until my men arrive, then, I’ll have to take the oan by force, if not, do as I say, and I’ll let you all leave. Deal?" Bison’s voice asked breathlessly, he sounded as if he was in pain, courtesy of Nicholas.

Sebastian balled his fists, "Deal." He agreed.

"Good. I’ll be waiting downstairs," The speaker disconnected.

"Fucking bastard," Sebastian cursed.

Chapter 139

Sebastian was anxious as the elevator slid open; this time, there was a grand entrance of darkness. The place was still brightly lit, and Sebastian marched forward and searched the whole place with his eyes.

His men were already surrounding the place, still holding Bison’s men captive.

"It’s not going to work this way," Bison’s voice sounded from the stairs at a corner.

Sebastian immediately snapped his head toward him and saw him walking down with no Zeno in sight.

He was about to ask about him when he saw a huge, tall guy carrying Zeno over his shoulder and slowly walking behind Bison.

Sebastian remained calm, he knew that showing how anxious he was would let Bison take advantage of him.

"You have my men, you’re armed, and I’m outnumbered; how do you think I’ll trust you, Sebastian?" Bison walked halfway to Sebastian and stopped.

"You’d be a fool to trust me, Bison... let’s make this quick," Sebastian stretched his hand to Nicholas, who landed him the pen.

"Tsk, had I known the bastard was with the pen, I’d have easily collected it from him; what a waste of time," Bison scowled at Nicholas.

Nicholas scoffed, "That’s why you’re an old man, you’re brain is doomed to fail you," He smirked.

"Bastard," Bison cursed.

"Soon, Bison, I’ll be a Bastard soon, and I’ll be more than happy to make myself a bastard," Nicholas replied scornfully.

"Bring Zeno to me, Bison, and I’ll give you the pen," Sebastian told him.

Bison laughed, shaking his head.

"You said it yourself, I’d be a fool to trust you. Why do you think I would agree to such a stupid request?" Bison raised a brow, looking around the room at his men who were kneeling in front of Sebastian’s bodyguards.

He signaled for the tall guy behind him to come forward and drop Zeno on the floor in front of him.

Sebastian watched as the guy placed Zeno on the floor and proceeded to point a gun to his head.

"How about you release my men, be a good boy, and hand one of them the pen while you’re at it," Bison crossed his hands across his chest, watching Sebastian.

Sebastian chuckled, and he slowly nodded. "Then, we’ll be taking our leave; you can do whatever you want to Zeno; he’s not as important as you think," He waved his hand to his men and slowly stared back away.

"I guess we could reach an agreement, Mr. Sebastian... you know ow how important that pen is to me... it’s my career, my reputation, my life," Bison cleared his throat, taking a step forward.

"Stay where you are," Sebastian said, halting Bison.

"Your men are going to be returned to you, and your big guy is going to carry Zeno out, right in front of me, when I’m sure that he’s safe in the car, I’ll return your pen to him, I give e you my word, I have no plans of killing him," Sebastian signaled to his men and they immediately released Bison’s men and allowed them to walk over to him.

Sebastian knew the men were already stripped of all their arms, so they were basically useless at the moment; they couldn’t possibly do them any harm.

"You’ve got your men, ask your guy to bring him over," Sebastian ordered.

His men were ready to fire any second, their guns were not for once lowered.

"Take him to them," Baiom ordered.

"Yes, boss," The big guy bowed.

"No," Sebastian said.

Buson frowned, "No? You don’t want your boyfrinack?" He asked, a little confused.

"Ask your guy to disarm," Sebastian requested.

The big guy stared at Bison who slowly nodded, "This is to show you that I really do need that pen, Sebastian. And I must warn you, I fear no one, letting me live is a mistake; if I were you, I would kill myself here and now. But, it seems like you’re a coward like your father. I’m making you this promise, kill me now, or be ready for my comeback, Sebastian Orion," Bison warned darkly.

"I’m glad you recognize that you’ve failed, Bison, if I defeated you, I’ll defeat you again, again, and again. Killing you once is no fun. Now, big guy, disarm," He ordered.

The bug guy’s face was hardened as he dropped the gun beside him; he took a few more out and placed them down, too.

"Kick them over," Sebastian commanded.

He did, and one of Sebastian’s men immediately picked the guns up, holding them.

The big guy proceeded to lift Zeno on his shoulder and stared, walking toward Sebastian.

"Keep to your word, Sebastian, make sure you don’t let me live next time, I hate cowards," Bison mocked.

Sebastian smirked at him, "Trust me, I never disappoint." He replied.

"You go first, big guy," Sebastian pointed the big guy to the door; he wanted to make sure his eyes never left Zeno again, even though it was getting closer to the time for his second disaster, but he was going to go through it, regardless.

"See you later, son. Next time, it’ll be my bullet going through your head," Bison said as Nicholas turned to walk away with Sebastian.

"Rot on hell," Nicholas replied without even sparing Bison a second look; there was no need for that; from this moment, he was going to forget everything about him.

Nicholas decided that he was going to leave the country after the whole drama. He needed a new start; he was going to leave behind everything and everyone. A quiet and peaceful life seemed more welcoming to him now; he’d seen enough of the mafia life.

Sebastian’s men trooped behind him, making sure nothing went wrong; as they neared the gate, Sebastian could already see the car waiting for him; Ezra was sitting anxiously on the driver’s seat, steaming the engine and ready to move.

Cody hurried over and opened the back seat for the big guy, who placed Zeno inside the car.

He immediately turned and faced Sebastian, "Give me the pen, Mr. Sebastian," The big guy asked.

Sebastian looked around, making sure all his men were out of that place.

"Tell your boss that I never fail to keep to my word; best of luck, big guy. We’ll probably never meet again," Sebastian dropped the pen into the big guy’s and stepped away from him.

"Let him pass," Sebastian ordered his men that were surrounding the big guy.

As the big guy walked back to the gates, it slowly slid closed, giving everyone a sense of an ending to their turmoil.

"We have to get him to the hospital," Sebastian said and walked over to enter the car.

Nicholas held Sebastian’s hand, stopping him. "You really just gave him the pen?" He asked, disappointment flashing across his eyes.

Ezra sighed, "I’m wondering why, too. Why did you have to put yourself in so much trouble if you were going to give in to him in the first place?" He questioned.

Sebastian’s watch suddenly started to beep, he raised it to his face and showed it to his friends, smiling, "Countdown with me," he asked them.

They looked at each other in confusion but joined Sebastian to Countdown, "Five, four, three, two, one..."

Boom!!!

The ground shook with shockwaves and the gate flew off its hinges; the bodyguards were surprised by the sudden explosion, and they all stepped back, shock in their eyes as they stared at the supposed new factory now burning down in a massive fire.

"Wow..." Ezra said, his mouth opened in surprise.

"Yeah... awesome," Nicholas smirked.

"For someone who just lost his father, I’d say you’re sadistic," Sebastian smirked at Nicholas.

Nicholas chuckled, "Fuck him, man; how did you do that?" He slapped Sebastian’s shoulder

"You had us fooled, I almost lost my mind trying to figure out why you easily gave Bison the pen," Ezra was still surprised.

"Well, that pen might just be one of the world’s deadliest weapons; once Bison pressed it down to listen to the recording or fixed it in a computer to watch the videos, it’ll trigger off the bomb. I connected the timer to my watch, and you, my dear friend, helped me countdown to your father’s demise," He patted Nicholas’s arm.

"And that was the best fuvking feeling in the whole world," He smiled.

Ezra watched Nicholas closely, wondering if he was really okay with what had happened, Biosn was this father at the end of the day, but he wasn’t going to mention it to him, ever. Nicholas already hated him, he didn’t want to create more conflicts between them.

"We need to attend to Zeno, we don’t know how bad his condition is," Ezra said, looking at Sebastian as if he knew something only he and Sebastian knew.

"You take Nicholas, too, make sure they’re okay... I have to deal with something," Sebastian said and spared a shirt glance at Zeno before walking off to a separate car.

Ezra sighed, "Get in, Nicholas, you look quite bad yourself," He said.

Nicholas felt like something was about to go wrong, his gut told him so. He just hoped everything and everyone would be happy in the end.

Chapter 140

Zeno felt his head aching badly, and he could feel that something was wrapped around his head.

He let his eyes remain closed for a while as he recalled his last memory. He wasn’t sure if it was a last memory or if his mind was playing tricks on him. However, he believed he had heard Sebastian faintly, but he was sure he had heard his voice the last time he got hit by Bison’s men.

Did Sebastian defeat Bison? Were they defeated and Biosn still held him captive? Was Sebastian safe?

But contrary to his thoughts, Zeno felt quite safe; he no longer felt as if he was in Bison’s environment, and he could feel the gentle and warm hand holding his hand beside him, he knew it would be Sebastian, he must have been very worried about him, even after their misunderstanding, Sebastian still chose to save him; Zeno thought that Sebastian was really pissed this time and wouldn’t give a shit about him anymore.

His heart warmed at the thought and he couldn’t wait to apologize for his foolhardiness.

Zeno slowly opened his eyes; luckily, the light above wasn’t a blaring one; he comfortably adjusted his eyes; his body was hurting all over, but he could bear it; he slowly turned his head to the side and was instantly disappointed.

It wasn’t Sebastian, it was Nicholas.

Nicholas sat on a chair beside Zeno’s bed, his head was laid on the bed as he held Zeno’s hand.

Zeno was conflicted, why was Sebastian not here? Je grunted as he tried to sit up, alerting Nicholas immediately.

Nicholas sat up and looked at Zeno in shock.

"Zeno, you’re awake. I... I was so worried; how are you feeling? Hold on," Nicholas gently adjusted the bed so it lifted Zeno’s upper body to a sitting position.

Zeno quietly looked around the room and realized that he was in Ezra’s hospital, in one of the rooms.

"Thank you..." Zeno coughed.

Nicholas immediately reached for the table beside them and grabbed the glass of water.

"Here, drink, this," He raised the glass to Zeno’s lips.

Zeno tried to raise his hand and take the glass, but he realized that his left arm was wrapped in an Ace wrap.

He sighed and let Nicholas feed him the water. "Thank you," He said.

Nicholas nodded, "It’s been two days, Zeno, you were scaring us all, we... I thought I was never going to speak to you again," He confessed.

Zeno shook his head, "Ouch," He winceed.

"Sorry, your head was injured by that jerk; Ezra had it treated and wrapped; you don’t have to move around a lot for now," Nicholas explained.

Zeno frowned, "Bison -"

"Dead. He’s dead, Zeno; you don’t have to worry about him anymore; you just have to get better, and we can figure out what to do from there," Nicholas informed.

Zeno was quiet; he felt something was off; he looked at Nicholas’ face and observed how he couldn’t hold his gaze, "Nicholas..." He called quietly.

Nicholas looked at him, "Yes, do you need anything? I can go get Ezra; he’d be very happy to see that you’re awake," He tried to leave, but Zeno stopped him.

"No, don’t go..." Zeno said.

Nicholas sighed and sat back on the chair, "What’s bothering you, Zeno?" He asked as if he didn’t already know what was bothering Zeno.

"Sebastian..." Zeno mentioned quietly, "Where is he? I... I thought he’d be the one beside me, or has he been here the other days?" He questioned calmly.

Nicholas lowered his face to the floor; he took a deep breath before looking at Zeno, "No, Zeno, he’s not been here since the day he brought you over. He’s home," He informed.

Zeno felt a sharp, acute pain pierce his heart; his head pinged with a hard throb, his limbs were getting weaker, and his heart was racing wildly; he felt scared, he felt... fear.

"Why? Did he say why?" He asked Nicholas, his voice sounding husky from his held-back years.

His Sebastian never came to see him, why?

Was he really that angry with him?

"Who am I kidding? Sebastian must still be angry at me, I did betray him by speaking to Bison," Zeno chuckled dryly.

Nicholas remained silent; he drummed his fingers on his lap, biting his lips.

"Can you call him for me, I need to apologize, I can’t let him -"

"I can’t, Zeno," Nicholas interrupted gently.

Zeno frowned, "Huh? W-what do you mean you can’t?" He blinked.

Nicholas sighed, it seemed like he couldn’t avoid it forever; he had to say it because he also wanted Zeno to have peace of mind.

"Sebastian is getting married to Sakura," Nicholas announced just at the same time the door opened and Ezra walked in.

"Nicholas, way to go. You promised not to tell him," Ezra frowned, angry.

"I had to, he deserves to know," Nicholas replied.

Zeno was quiet for a while; he could no longer feel his heartbeat. He felt like his heart had stopped beating, but suddenly, it started beating so out of control, his chest rising and falling as he tried to get enough air into his lungs.

"Zeno, Zeno, you have to relax, you-"

"I have to go," Zeno suddenly pushed Ezra out of the way and got down from the bed; his feet wobbled, but Nicholas was fast to catch him before he fell to the ground.

"Zeno, relax; I know it’s going to hurt, but you have us; we’ll be right here to help you recover," Nicholas consoled.

Zeno pushed him away with the strength he could muster, "No! Nicholas, no! I’m not believing it until I see him! Do you hear! Until I see him!" He limped out of the hospital room, heading right for the elevator.

"Way to go, Mr. Lover," Ezra glared at Nicholas before running after Zeno.

"Zeno, wait," He called after Zeno, who was already inside the elevator.

"Fuck!" He cursed when Zeno closed the elevator door in his face.

"The stairs, Doc," Nicholas suggested and immediately went running down the stairs.

Zeno reached the floor and limped out of the elevator, he ignored all the eyes he got from the patients sitting in the reception area and made his way out of the door.

"Damn it," He frowned when he realized that he had no motor phone on him to get a cab.

He looked around and saw the cars parked in front of the hospital building; his eyes landed on Ezra’s car, and he immediately had an idea.

He started to walk toward it. Hopefully, Ezra would hurry down, and he would lead him to take him home.

Ezra did.

In the next second, Ezra and Nicholas ran toward him, panting.

"Zeno, please, don’t be rash, you shouldn’t be moving around right now, you have to get back in and observe your rest, it’s dangerous too -"

"No, Nicholas, no way," he said and went over to Ezra and held his hand.

"Please, Ezra. Please, I’m begging you; I know now what I’m doing might seem unreasonable, but I hope you understand me; I just want to speak to Sebastian. Please, drive me to him, please, I’m begging, I... I just need to speak to him, at least, if what Nicholas said was true, I need to hear him say it to me himself, please," Zeno begged.

Ezra sighed. He understood how Zeno was feeling, and he didn’t even think that he was overreacting; he was taking it rather better than he had imagined.

"Get in the car," Ezra said and pointed to his car.

"Ezra?" Nicholas called, giving him a questioning look.

"Yoh hears the guy; he just wants closure; you should understand better, " Wzra said and opened the door for Zeno.

"Get in if you want to come too," Ezra said and walked past Nicholas.

Nicholas couldn’t believe that the matter had escalated to this extent, he wasted no time in getting inside the car.

"Zeno, no matter what happens, I just want you to love yourself first, for the first time, do you understand?’ Nicholas asked, taking Zeno’s hand in his as the car drove away from the hospital.

Zeno was staring down at his legs; he didn’t reply to Nicholas, nor did he look up. He didn’t feel like looking out of the window and appreciating the beauty of the city and nature.

"I’ve got you, Zeno," Nicholas muttered, not letting go of Zeno’s hand.

Soon, Ezra drove the car inside Sebastian’s compound. He felt bad for Zeno, but he couldn’t refuse to help the poor guy; he knew he was in pain, both physically and emotionally pain.

Zeno saw that they had arrived and immediately pushed the open and limped toward the stairs.

"Let me help you," Nicholas tried holding his arm.

"I’m fine," Zeno removed his hand and continued toward the door.

He reached the door, and it was immediately opened by Jasper, who seemed shocked to see him, but Zeno was surprised to realize that Jasper didn’t speak to him; he simply removed his eyes from Zeno and kept on walking ahead.

Zeno felt a foreboding from that treatment, he took a deep breath and limped inside the house.

The moment, he walked in and stood beside the door, his heart immediately shattered when eyes found his target: Sebastian.

However, looking at Sebastian wasn’t what shattered his heart, it was the person lying on Sebastian’s lap.

Sakura lay there so comfortably, smiling at something Sebastian was showing her on his phone.

"Sebastian..." He didn’t even believe he could still produce a sound from how dry his throat felt.

Sebastian paused when he heard Zeno’s voice. However, he didn’t bother to acknowledge him; it was Sakura who looked at Zeno and Immediately got up from Sebastian’s lap and hurried over to Zeno.

"Zeno, oh my God, how are you?" Sje ruched out her hand to touch him but Zeno shifted away, his eyes still locked on Sebastian.

It hurt more that Sebastian didn’t even bother to look at him.

"Sebastian... what’s going on, Sebastian?" He questioned, his eyes prickling with hot tears.
