Ch. 506..510: Charmed by the Billionaire CEO Chapter 506-510

Chapter 506: I am not your type"

Jenny tilted her head and stared at Gavin in anticipation before she let out a chuckle in disbelief.

"Don’t tell even you didn’t see my picture before coming here" she said learning how similar they had been at this point.

Claudie had forwarded her the time and location along with his photo attached, but she simply refused to see it. Jenny knew she would eventually reject the boy after spending five minutes with him, so had no liking he seeing who the person was.

"You too" he asked and watched her bob her head in agreement.

Jenny turned back to her seat and motioned Gavin to sit." I wasn’t expecting to see you either" she said with a light smile.

The displeasure Jenny felt before was now replaced with amusement. Watching Gavin sitting before her gave her a sense of relief.

Gavin was taken aback by her genuineness. He remembered how she ran away from him the other day. It left him wondering if he did something wrong for her to leave without a proper goodbye. But now, watching her being back to normal, he somehow felt at ease. At least he didn’t have to put an act, behaving out of his character.

"By the way, how come we never met? I heard our parents are friends but I never once saw you at any gathering" Gavin initiated the conversation after a brief pause.

Now that he knew who his blind date was, he couldn’t help but ask the doubts that popped up with Jenny’s appearance.

"I don’t live with my parents. It’s been years since I moved out from our familial house and started living independently" Jenny didn’t find any clams from sharing the truth. It was her initial plan when she decided to attend the blind date. All she wanted to be was true about herself.

Gavin frowned at how frankly she shared her thoughts without restraining the truth. He felt somewhat amused with her straightforwardness.

"No doubt you turn out to be the best surgeon" he couldn’t help but praise. Now that he heard her, Gavin recalled the information he gathered about her, but never once did it click into his mind that she must be the same Jenny Han, the doctor he had joined hand in finding the general’s daughter.

Jenny simply smiled at his comment, before falling silent. Though she was comfortable being here with him, still the lingering awkwardness from that day didn’t seem to leave her mind.

Jenny knew it was just an accident and she shouldn’t be thinking too much. But when she recalled how her body began to react to their closeness, she couldn’t help but feel shy. It’s been years after Landon since she allowed herself to be this close with someone and now that she did, it left a mark on her mind.

’Why did she feel that way’ she had been asking herself since that moment, secretly going through the message he sent, but there was nothing she could conclude.

She had concealed all her emotions after she lost the most important person in her life. His death shattered her to the core and no matter how much she tried to forget him, she couldn’t move on, but Gavin... his thoughts were slowly making their way to her mind, momentary letting her forget about Landon.

Gavin expected Jenny to speak something, but when she didn’t say a word and kept spacing out, he decided to speak instead.

"By the way Jenny... there is something I want to make clear to you" his voice snapped Jenny out of her thoughts and she looked at him in a daze. It took her a moment to recollect her thoughts before fully focusing on Gavin.

"Even I have something to tell you" she joined hoping whatever she would say, Gavin would respect it.

"Go ahead" he expressed and Jenny took a deep breath before opening her mouth and said,

"I don’t think anything can happen between us. This blind date was arranged by our parents and I don’t intend to take it seriously, because I was never interested in the first place" she said keeping her eyes sternly on Gavin. Jenny didn’t flinch before expressing her true opinion as she was sure nothing was going to happen between them.

Gavin was taken aback by her boldness but quickly composed himself. "Even I was going to say the same," he said but with much hesitation.

Even though Gavin was totally against this blind date concept that his mother imposed on him. But learning Jenny was the girl he was set up with, his thoughts began to waver. At the back of his mind, he began to feel the curiosity of knowing more about her as a person.

Throughout their meeting inside the coffee shop, Jenny had been quite upfront about whether it was her doubts regarding his relationship with Bianca or whether he was genuinely going to find her. She had been clear with her perspective on regard towards his response. It took him an act of immense courage to lie to her knowing how she easily agreed with him.

Gavin could tell Jenny was truly worried for her friend, but he was bound to confide the truth from her. But now that he thought about it, Gavin felt she was someone whom he could entirely put his trust into.

’But the girl bluntly rejected him’ he smiled mentally at his fate before stretching his lips evidently.

Jenny frowned when she saw him smile and asked," Why are you smiling?"

"No, it’s nothing" Gavin answered brushing off her doubts as her eyes normalized on his response but then he quickly added asking.

"What about your parents? What will you tell them" Gavin wanted to know how was she going to deal with her parents. Maybe he could use the same reason.

Jenny thought for a moment contemplating on what basis was she going to reject him. Either way, her mother was going to know the truth, but for now, she had to come up with a convincing rejection reason.

"How about you tell your mother that I am not your type" she debated.

Jenny couldn’t be the one to decline him, so she wanted him to be the one to reject her.

"And how do you know who is my type Doctor Jenny" Gavin cocked his brows and leisurely took a seat back as he watched her eyes go wide at his sudden statement.

Chapter 507: Fake relationship

Jenny opened her mouth to speak but closed it back falling loss for words. Blinking her eyes she composed her expression and said," I am not interested in your type. I just don’t want to be the one who rejects you"

"And why is that so?" he asked making her frown.

Jenny stared at him doubtfully, wondering why was he suddenly getting curious about her, however, she simply brushed off those fleeting thoughts and answered. "I have my reasons"

Gavin bobbed his head in understanding before speaking up" But what if I say I can’t do that and even I have the same reasons as you for being the source of rejection"

Jenny’s mouth parted in disbelief as she watched him smile. Gavin knew both Jenny and him weren’t interested in this blind date thing, but were forced to meet each other because of their parents, and to stop them from continuing this ritual, he came up with an idea that would benefit both.

Jenny who had been looking at him with narrow eyes heard him speak.

"How about we agree to our parents and date each other for a while? In that way, they won’t force us to go on blind dates anymore and after a few months we can end this fake relationship"

Gavin’s words caught Jenny off guard and she quickly declined," No!... I don’t want to" she spat shaking her head in denial.

Jenny didn’t want to get involved with anyone even if it was fake. She didn’t want to betray Landon by letting someone take his place. She would never bring herself to accept anyone.

Gavin creased watching her decline his offer. The way her eyes widened as she refused him, he could see the lingering gleam of fear arousing in them.

Staring at her for a few seconds, he sighed. "The be the one to reject me," he said and got up to leave.

Jenny gaped at him in shock as she watched him leave. Gavin had just walked past her seat when she turned and stopped him.

"Gavin wait!" her voice instantly stopped his steps and he turned to look at her.

Getting up from her seat, Jenny carefully approached him. At the back of her mind, she wanted to keep declining his offer, but her rational mind wanted her to accept it.

Jenny came to realize that Gavin’s offer wasn’t that bad and it was her only way to stop her parents from setting her up with anyone. Being in a fake relationship wasn’t a big deal when they would eventually break up.

With that thought in mind, Jenny pushed all her doubts and said," I agree"

Gavin cocked his brows amusingly before giving her a nod. A sense of enlightenment crossed his head as he reached his hand towards her for a handshake " Let’s do it then" he said.

Jenny took a deep breath and grabbed his hand, giving him a nod in agreement.

Meanwhile, Grace who was pacing back and forth inside her room suddenly stopped and shot her head in the direction of her phone.

"Should I just call him?" she said, scanning her eyes on the people sitting on the couch.

Tristan, Ashley, and Gwen gave their mother a confusing look before they turned their head toward Trevor, who seemed least bothered by her reaction.

Ever since Gavin went on the blind date, Grace had been having a bad thought. The uneasy feeling inside her chest didn’t seem to calm. She wondered whether Gavin was able to charm the girl even though she knew the possibilities were less, still, she didn’t want him to get rejected without putting in any effort.

When no one said a word, Tristan took the initiative to speak on everyone’s behalf.

" Mom, it’s been only an hour since Gavin left. Don’t you think it would be appropriate for us to disturb him like that" he said signaling the rest as they understood his hint and responded with their head bobbing like kids.

"Yes Mom, brother is right. I don’t think we should call him right now" Gwen added, fully supporting her brother’s words.

Grace dropped her shoulder in defeat when both her kids declined her wish." Is that so?" she mumbled and watched all three of them nod.

Left with no other choice, Grace returned to her seat. Sitting next to Trevor she sighed. "I just hope Jenny won’t reject him" she repeated those same words she once said to Trevor, leaving the rest confused.

"Mom, why are you so desperate for Gavin to marry that girl? If she doesn’t like him, she has the right to reject him and vice versa. We just can’t force them" Gwen stated.

"I think Gwen is right Mom" It was Ashley who spoke this time, agreeing with Gwen’s mature thoughts. Both Jenny and Gavin had the right to choose their life partners after all.

Grace knew they were right, but deep down she knew Jenny was the one for Gavin and she would be the happiest to see her lead a happy life.

After the agreement, both Jenny and Gavin walked out of the restaurant. Since it was too early for them to return, Gavin turned to look at Jenny and said," Mind joining for a drive. It’s too early for us to leave"

Jenny gave him a thoughtful look before agreeing to his idea and soon they drove away from there.

"By the way, where do you want to go?" Gavin asked. His eyes were focused on the road but his ears waited for her response.

"Anywhere, where there is silence," she said in a whisper, before looking out of the window.

Jenny’s heart had not been at peace ever since she agreed with him, but now that the deal was final she couldn’t step back. Letting someone step into your life even though it was fake, Jenny still couldn’t help but feel horrible. But if this was the only way to stop her mother from pestering her, then she had to put up with this act.

Slowly closing her eyes, Jenny tried to ease her mind unknown of the eyes that kept looking her way.

’Why do I find myself getting drawn to you’ Gavin said staring at her lonely figure from the side, suddenly feeling the urge to engulf her in his embrace, just like how he did at the coffee shop.

Chapter 508: How are you so sure

After convincing Grace, Tristan and Ashley return to their room. She was still annoyed with Tristan who summoned her early morning reasoning he couldn’t sleep the entire night.

Ashley had no choice but to return since he promised for only a night at the Wayne Mansion.

As soon as they made their way inside their room, Tristan engulfed her from behind wrapping his hands around her stomach.

"Are you upset?" He asked wondering if she would still give him the silent treatment, but to his surprise, her response amused him.

"I am not" Unwrapping his arms from her stomach, Ashley turned to face him.

"After all the agreement was just one night." She said snaking her arms around his neck and leaning to kiss him.

"So, I am not upset" She repeated with a smile.

Tristan felt at ease. Bringing his face into the crook of her neck, he kissed her gently.

Ashley chuckled at his tenderness and tilted her head a little, giving him proper access.

Nibbling her skin, Tristan moved back, eying his art amusingly.

Leaving hickey’s on her neck was a new thing, Ashley’s entire body would have them if he was turned on. But tonight he was sufficient with only one on the neck.

"Sigh! I don’t know why Mom’s persistence in bringing Gavin’s and Jenny’s match together. I just don’t want them to feel any burden" He expressed.

Though Tristan had the idea why Grace was being like this, still he thought it would be their decision in the end.

Ashley suddenly turned quiet for a moment before a smile made its way to her lips and she turned to look at Tristan.

"I think Gavin will like her," She said confidently.

" And how are you so sure" He asked comfortably securing her in his arms.

" Instinct," She said leaving Tristan speechless, but the latter didn’t mind agreeing to her eventually.

As the couple kept staring at each other for a few seconds, Ashley then changed the topic.

"I wish I would’ve stayed with Alice for one more day. She looked so happy with me being there" Ashley teased watching Tristan’s happy face suddenly go sullen as he immediately declined.

"No, there is no need for you to spend another day with her. If you want we can call her here. You can talk and spend time with her as much as you want, but once you are with me, your time is mine" He declared.

Ashley couldn’t help but laugh at his arrangement. He made sure, everything was convenient for the two without him suffering at the end.

Rolling her eyes on his cute yet stern declared Ashley then let go of her hands from his neck.

"Okay fine... I get it. You don’t have to be so rude yet, cute" She said playfully pinching his cheek before making her way to the wardrobe.

Tristan’s grumpy face turned back to normal as he smiled tracing the touch of her hand on his face before sitting on the side of the bed.

His eyes observed her, as she picked out a pair of t-shirts and pajamas before sliding the door shut and turning towards him.

" How is it " She asked resting the clothes on her frame with her brows twitching in anticipation.

"They are good but either way I am going to remove them, so why care to wear" Tristan’s shameless remark made her glare at him. He was an utterly pervert person who didn’t hold his tongue before speaking anything.

’At least for her’ she rephrase mentally.

Shaking her head in disbelief, she watched him chuckle and soon made her way inside the bathroom.

Meanwhile, Tristan waited for her to come out. Leaning back on the headboard with his left leg folded while the right hanging down from the bed, Tristan started scrolling email through his phone.

After threatening Mia, it had been easy for him to keep a tab on Jennifer. After wrapping the movie she would soon be leaving her current agency and as expected she didn’t even voice her displeasure over the declaration.

She simply agreed to Mr. Carlson requesting him to get through the final procedure.

Tristan knew there was someone who was helping her discreetly, but it had been a vain as Mia didn’t know the person by their face.

With Tristan’s life in a life-threatening way, Mia spills everything to him. She even told him about someone she talked to a few days ago through video call, but the person’s identity remained hidden from her. They only had a talk and nothing else. The picture she clicked back then was requested by the person on the call.

The more he heard her talk about the person, the more curious he started to feel. There was a thin line before his instincts turned out to be true.

As his mind began to rack, the bathroom door clicked open and Ashley stepped out getting all freshed.

"You think the person who is secretly helping Jennifer is no one else but Sandra" Tristan suddenly spoke halting Ashley on her steps midway.

Initially, Ashley did think the same but as she kept pondering she realized Jennifer had no connection with her and they were far more than strangers. But if thinking through Sandra’s cunning point of view, there could be a possibility of Sandra approaching her.

"You can be right, but... We don’t have any concrete evidence. Sandra’s whereabouts are still hidden and neither do Mia see the person.we can’t be sure" She exclaimed stating her point.

They just couldn’t let their guards fall when it came to ignoring leads about Sandra’s. If a woman can fake her death, she can even approach people who would benefit her by harming them.

Tristan averted his eyes from her and fell into a deep thought.

It had been days since he had tried to find Sandra but everything was processing too slowly. It was eventually consuming their time.

Snapping out of his thoughts, Tristan quickly straightened up and called Gabriel who immediately answered his call.

"Hello, Gab"

Chapter 509: Yes, it’s me

After learning the truth Ryan lost the source of living. Linda’s deception left him shattered. Not only did she leave him, but she also kept him away from the truth of their child’s death.

Here he was ready to change himself for the sake of his child. He wanted to give him a happy family, but Linda’s one decision left him with nothing. He had nothing to lose but he also knew he wouldn’t let her live happily after she threw him away from her life.

The video he received that night, Ryan kept listening to the doctor’s words. There was no way she was lying because he knew Linda was seeking medication from her. But what left him shattered was the words that lady spoke.

Linda had lost their child before she ditched him. She knew now there was nothing left between them that would bind them together and instead of letting him know the truth, she cruelly left him.

Ryan sat on the ground like a corpse, staring at the reports in his hand. They were sent by the same person who forwarded him the video.

Ryan had no clue who the person was and why he decided to expose Linda’s truth to him. But he knew this person too held some kind of grudge against her or else he wouldn’t have sent him these proofs.

As he kept pondering over the anonymous person, his phone buzzed once again, and Ryan without any hesitation looked into it.

[ I know you must be curious to know my identity. So I am giving you a chance to come and meet me] Ryan frowned reading the message.

It was as if the person was reading his mind and Ryan found it hard to refute. He was now even more curious to know who this person was and what he wanted from him.

Ryan wasn’t a fool to neglect the intention behind this person providing him proof against Linda. It was a give-and-take set-up he was trying to put between them and now, he wanted to know who this person was and what he wanted from him.

Giving some thought, Ryan picked up his phone and replied to the person.

[Send me the address] he typed before pressing the sent button and patiently waited for the reply.

A few seconds later Ryan got a text and he quickly read it. Going through the address the person sent, he then got up from the floor and started getting ready for the meet-up.

After Linda left him, Ryan had no source of income. He used all his savings to indulge himself in drinking. He thought Linda would take him back if he begged her for forgiveness, but after knowing the truth, now all he wanted was to revenge her for her disloyalty.

Driving out of the town, Ryan reached the location. His eyes squinted looking at the secluded building which somewhat seemed like a base.

A few people guarding the entrance and the moment he stepped out one of the men approached him.

Ryan was taken aback by his build-up appearance and before he could utter a word, the guard cut in.

"Follow me" With his stone like voice, the guard turned and started walking from where he came with Ryan silently following behind.

After a ten minutes walk they finally reached a room away in the corner of the hallway where the guard opened the door for him and mentioned him to enter.

Ryan did as he said before the door behind him closed

With his eyes scanning the spacious room, Ryan felt his heart pick up the race. He knew his eagerness to know the person made him agree to his advance, but after watching the surrounding he came walking through, his palms began to sweat.

Deep down he had a feeling that the person he was supposed to meet had some kind of influential connections or else there wouldn’t have been security all around.

Ryan had seen gangster only on television, but never once saw a real gun in entire life, but watching the guard carrying one made him gulp in fear.

"Are you done checking around" A voice came from the side and Ryan shot his head in the direction of the person who stepped out from a secret room joined to the one be was currently standing.

Ryan narrowed his eyes trying to see the person who emerged from the dark finally stepping into the room light and smirked.

"You! " Ryan snapped watching Karl emerg from the door.

"Yes, it’s me" Said Karl making his way towards the stunned man who seem to have lost his mind for a moment.

Ryan could utter a word. His thoughts muddled watching Karl.

’So he is the person behind all the proofs’

"Shocked" Karl said when Ryan didn’t say a word and just kept staring at him in shock.

Ryan wasn’t expecting Karl to be the one who would backstab Linda after promising to marry her, but now when he carefully see through his past gestures, it started to get clear.

"You fooled us" Ryan stuttered feeling the clench in his throat as he asked. They thought they were trapping him but it turned out that Karl was the mastermind behind the downfall of their relationship.

Karl scoffed staring at the already scared Ryan and walked past him.

"Just like you both tried to fool me and Gwen" He said taking the seat on the cushion chair.

Ryan watched Karl with utmost disbelief, but be also knew there is nothing he could do against him.

He had only seen Karl as a pawn to their game, but he failed to see the potential of the man who was nothing but Tristan Knight’s right man.

He should’ve known they both had the same way of dealing with their enemies and now that the truth was out Ryan could see what was coming ahead on him.

His eyes never moved from him but he could feel the beads of sweat forming on his forehead.

Ryan was scared because he knew he had stepped into a lions den and to leave alive, he had to agree with him.

Chapter 510: How can I help you

"I hope I didn’t miss the show" Gwen who barged inside the room, glanced at Karl who smiled at her extending his hand for her to come closer to him.

Following his actions, Karl wrapped his arm around her waist as soon as she sat next to him before they both turned to look at Ryan, who was now sweating profoundly.

"Hi" Gwen cheerfully greeted him but the man simply pulled out his handkerchief from his jeans pocket and wiped off the swat bead from his face.

Ryan had no way out of this situation he ended up trapped in, so he pushed away all the doubts and stuttered straight to the point.

"W-What do you want from me?" he asked looking at Karl who finally composed his expression from sweet to serious and stated, "Work for us, and I will spare your life" Ryan gulped at his threatening words.

Karl was direct with his words and he knew Ryan had no way but to accept his offer, so he continued.

"Don’t you want to avenge Linda for hiding the truth of your unborn child? Do you think it’s fair for her to use you and then throw you out of her life like a trash bag" Karl started reminding Ryan about Linda’s betrayal, sprinkling salt on his open fresh wound.

He just had to keep adding fuel until he exploded and that was what happened when Ryan’s aura began to change. The terror in his eyes was now replaced with hatred as he looked up at him with determination.

Ryan had lost faith in Linda when he learned her real face. She used him all the time, making him believe in her love which wasn’t even true. A person who changes their feeling according to their convenience can only love themselves and no one else. And Linda was one of them.

She was only staying with him because of the child in her womb, but now that she got rid of it, she ended their relationship without thinking twice.

’If she didn’t care for him, then why should he keep thinking about their love when he knew she would never take him back’

After all these days Ryan came to learn that Linda would never accept him but that doesn’t mean he would let her live in peace. She used him and ruined his life by backstabbing him. He was struggling all by himself but he would drag her down by teaching her a lesson.

Taking a moment to sort his thoughts, Ryan took a deep breath and declared calmly. "Tell me, how can I help you" his eyes were empty but his words held sincerity that Karl couldn’t ignore.

Giving Gwen a side glance he opened up about his plan to Ryan without any hesitation.

[Wayne Mansion]

After having some fruits Alice decided to stroll around the vast garden inside the property. Anna remained seated on her chair and watched Alice take a walk around. She could see the glow on her face that remained her about the time when she was carrying Noah inside her stomach.

She too was young when she got married to Taylor and looking at Alice she could understand the struggle as a young couple they were going through.

Noah who had been carefree his whole life turned out to be a dotting husband to Alice. For her, he changed himself into a brand new person whom they could never imagine. But she was grateful that he finally realized what true love means and watching him love Alice unconditionally, Anna could finally be at ease.

Smiling, Anna looked away and resumed reading the magazine in her hand, letting Alice enjoy her free time.

Meanwhile, Alice kept walking around, observing the plants. The smell of the freshly bloomed flowers helped her relax. Standing before them, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

Alice was busy enjoying her peaceful time when a noise snapped her out of her trance and she turned her head to the sound. Her brows creased watching the gardener who was digging mud. His actions were so rough that it surprised Alice to wonder how a gardener be this aggressive towards a mute living thing, but then she remembered the person assigned to look after the lawn was amateur and was still learning.

Unable to see the harshness, Alice quickly made her way towards the man and stood right behind him.

"Excuse me, can you please be a little gentle? You are hurting them" Alice kept her voice gentle and sincerely dictated to him.

Dylan stopped his movement. He had no idea Alice was inside the garden. If he had known, he would’ve been careful.

Tightening his grip around the shovel’s handle Dylan tried to disguise his voice. He knew Alice was too quick to acknowledge him and to be cautious around her, he had to impersonate his voice.

"Sorry Madame, I will be gentle," he said without looking back.

Alice watched the man from behind watching him lower his head apologetically. For a moment she felt a sense of familiarity coming from the gardener, but she quickly brushed it off and smiled politely before turning around and leaving.

Listening to her retreating footsteps, Dylan turned over and watched the heavily pregnant Alice walk away. He had the urge to go and touch her but he controlled himself.

Ever since he had seen Alice living a happy life with Noah, his termination to snatch their happiness enhanced even more. His taking everything from him, how could she live so peacefully while he suffered?

After stalking her all this time, Dylan developed an unhealthy obsession with Alice. He was surprised to see him crave for her, but then her pregnancy stood up like a hurdle. He thought after taking advantage of her, he would eliminate her, but now he had to kill another person in the process.

As he watched her take slow steps, an idea clicked in his mind and he called her, "Madame"

Alice stopped listening to his sudden call and turned around but failed to notice the wet grass she had just surpassed and tripped,

"Ah!" losing her balance, Alice was about to fall but Dylan quickly held her hand, stopping her from falling.

"Alice!"
