Ch. 241..245: Fatal Kiss Of The Vampire Chapter 241-245
Chapter 241: Don’t Press Me
Dinah lay sideways in the tent and faced Stephen. “Why did you go so mental out there?” she wondered. “You aren’t jealous of Ethan, are you?”
Stephen sighed and closed his eyes. He had dragged Dinah into the tent, though, so she could not let him off the hook that easily. “Or is it, Kylie that you are jealous of?” she laughed. “Are you a faggot? Are you in love with Ethan?”
Stephen opened his eyes quickly. He scowled and said, “Are you sick or something?”
“I am sick,” she replied. “I suffer from vasoconstriction in my vulva. You must cure me!”
“Whatever that is…” Stephen sighed as he rolled over. “Jill off if you must, but leave me alone.”
After kissing for a few more minutes, Kylie pulled down her shirt and brassiere and said, “Look what we did: we scared them away!”
“Never mind them,” Ethan laughed. “Let’s go to the tent and finish what we started.”
“I’m not in the mood,” Kylie replied. “The way that we do it, “Dinah and Stephen will hear everything. We could go in and snuggle, though. I could even give you a slow handjob if you’d like. How about that?”
“That would be fine,” Ethan replied as he stood up and led Kylie to the tent.
When Kylie and Ethan had been setting up the tents, they’d rigged the two smaller sleeping bags into one larger sleeping bag. Kylie climbed in first, and then she invited Ethan in. Once they were comfortable, Kylie looked at him and said, “William said that it had been you and Stephen, who has been looking after his whole family since his father died. Is that true?”
He nodded that it was true.
“What about your other brothers?” Kylie wondered. “Can you tell me what they were like and what happened to them?”
Hearing her questions, he suddenly looked very sad, and she regretted asking him the questions. He rolled over and stared at the top of the tent. Kylie put her head on his chest and wrapped her arm around his waist. Ethan was silent. His lips pressed together until they were nothing but a thin line. Finally, he looked at her and said, “I don’t want to talk about this. Please don’t press me.”
“I would never,” Kylie replied.
Ethan rolled back onto his side so that he could face her. Neither of them was in the mood for sex anymore, so they just watched each other and spoke a silent language of love that had nothing to do coitus, bondage, dominance, sadism, masochism, or cunnilingus – and before long, they were both asleep.
A wolf howled in the night, but of the four campers, Dinah was the only one who was awakened by the sound. She opened her eyes and stared at Stephen, who was sleeping beside her in his own sleeping bag. After making sure that he was breathing, she sat up and began to take off her clothes stealthily.
Doing all that she could to keep from disturbing Stephen, she slowly slipped into his sleeping bag with him and began to take off his clothes. Once he was naked, she spat on her hands and began to rub his manhood. As it stiffened, he moaned, but he didn’t wake up. Dinah assumed that his body was misinterpreting the stimulation as a part of some sexy dream, which was fine by her – even if he was dreaming of Kylie or Ethan.
As Dinah increased the pressure on Stephen’s manhood, he began to breathe heavily. Wanting more, she kissed him directly on the mouth and sucked on his lips. By now, she figured, if he woke up, his libido would take over, and he would want her.
Suddenly, and without warning, Dinah’s theory was proved to be true or false. As soon as Stephen woke up, he threw his arms around her and rolled her over so that he was on top of her and completely controlled. She tried to struggle, but he grabbed her hands and held them above her head.
Stephen passed her left hand to his left hand so that he was holding both of her hands with his left hand. Now that he had his right hand free, he pinched her left nipple and twisted it cruelly. Dinah felt all of the air rush out of her body, and she gasped. “You can’t do that,” she hissed, “What about Kylie…?”
Stephen slapped her across the face as he stood up and stared at the naked woman beneath him with open resentment and animosity. “You tried to assault me,” he cried. “I don’t know what you think that has to do with Kylie, but in my own defense, I have the right to do whatever I want to you!”
Dinah’s blood froze as he glared at her, and out of embarrassment, she scurried into her clothes. His hard member still swung free, and as much as she wanted one last look, she didn’t dare to look.
Finally, Stephen got dressed. He looked at Dinah and said, “I’m going to build a fire and sit on the rock. I better not see you out there until after I’ve left!”
Ethan woke Kylie slightly before sunrise. She said that she wanted to sleep some more, but he reminded her that the sun would be rising soon, so she climbed out of the sleeping bed and got dressed. After that, she drank a bottle of water so that she was fully awake by the time she exited the tent.
The first thing she noticed when the first hint of sunlight hit her was that Stephen was already up and dressed and watching the sunrise. As if he’d sensed her presence, he said, “it’s really beautiful, isn’t it?”
“Indeed it is,” she replied. “I should wake Dinah.”
“Not yet,” he said. “I am going to leave soon. Once I’m gone, she can come out.”
Kylie thought that this was rather strange, but she let it go. It wasn’t any of her business, she figured.
Once Stephen was gone, Dinah opened their tent, and Kylie saw that she had already packed everything up. “Come out,” Kylie called. “If you’re quick, you can see the last of the sunrise.”
Dinah took a step out, looked up into the sky, and said, “From the rising sun to its setting, the name of the Lord be praised.”
“Is that from the Bible?” Kylie wondered.
“It is,” Dinah replied. “Psalm 113:3. Growing up, it was one of my mother’s favorite verses. I swear that woman had a verse memorized for every occasion!”
Dinah joined Kylie and Ethan at the rock to watch the last of the sunset and, when it was done, the three of them worked together to pack everything up.
When everything was loaded onto Dinah’s bike, they regrouped at the rock for breakfast. Dinah had brought pre-scrambled eggs and toast, so everything was done very quickly, and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. Once it was done, Kylie offered to clean the dishes, and when that was done, she put the dishes into Dinah’s backpack for her to carry.
Once they were home again, Kylie began to get ready for the opening ceremony. Lucas and Faith offered to keep her company and help if they could, which she appreciated very much. As soon as Faith saw the dress that Kylie had chosen to wear, she said, “Kylie, you have a very nice dress. It flatters your body and goes well with your personality. Where did you get it.”
“Thank you,” Kylie replied. She smiled and said, “I am glad that you approved. It was a gift from Ethan.”
Faith sighed, and she said, “Kylie, you are one lucky woman.”
Kylie laughed, and she said, “Don’t I know it!”
Chapter 242: This Means The World To Me
Once Kylie was ready, the three of them left for the opening ceremony, and when they arrived, no one was surprised by a large group of reporters that were waiting for them. Anything that Miller touched attracted attention. Lucas was about to get out of the car and open the door for Kylie, but Kylie said, “Hold on. The ceremony doesn’t start for an hour. Let’s pull over and watch the stars as they arrive.”
Faith nodded and said, “I think that’s a great idea, and I can also touch up your make-up while we wait.”
Lucas grabbed the make-up bag from the trunk and handed it to Faith.
Faith was just about to reapply Kylie’s mascara when Lucas pointed Lilly out. Her godfather had managed to get her an in the movie. It was a very small part, but she had assured her of a ticket to this event. “It is a bit embarrassing to be in the same movie that she is in,” Kylie sighed.
“Never mind that,” Lucas told her. “Her shitty acting only makes your acting look better. It would be good if you could make peace with your father, though. I heard from the shareholders of the company today that Khloe stopped paying his medical bills. Nobody knows what will happen to him…”
Kylie’s heart sank. Even though Laurence wasn’t her biological father, she did feel some empathy for him. She thought it over for a second, and then she said, “I will check in on him tomorrow.”
The next person to arrive was Sally, the movie queen, and they all began to clap. She was just getting out of her car and, the minute they saw her dress, the car went quiet. Sally was wearing the same dress as Kylie – this, as they all knew, was the biggest faux pas that an up and coming actress could commit.
Kylie felt a sudden urge to pull out all of the hair on her head. If they had gone in when they’d gotten here, Sally would have been deemed the copycat and, in this case, curiosity really had killed the cat – and what made it even worse for Kylie was that Sally wore the dress better than she did!
Lucas glanced at his watch and frowned. “The ceremony starts in half an hour,” he worried. “What are we going to do?”
“It is too late to go back and change!” Faith said. “Just go in with your head held high and made the most of it. Many stars have survived much worse. Just look at Selena Gomez and Jennifer Laurence. Both women have had nude photos leaked on the internet, yet they are still adored by millions of people worldwide. The trick is to stay positive and pretend that nothing happened. You don’t want to end up like Bill Clinton…”
Kylie smiled, and she nodded in affirmation. “Perhaps you are right,” she said. “But I don’t want to give up just yet – perhaps I might even alter the dress somehow…”
Kylie thought about it for a while, and then she pulled a pair of scissors out of the make-up bag. She looked at Faith and said, “May I have your sleeves? Your dress would still be beautiful as it is without the sleeves.”
Faith looked at her arms and said, “Take them. If you’d asked, I would have given you the whole dress.”
As quick as she could, Faith stripped her dress off and handed it to Kylie, who quickly cut the sleeves off. There was also a sewing kit in the make-up bag, and Kylie carefully sewed the sleeves from Faith’s dress onto the dress that Ethan had given her.
When Faith saw what a difference the sleeves made, she clapped with joy and said, “You are a genius.”
When Faith looked over the dress, though, she wanted to do more for Kylie, so she took the pearl necklace from around her neck and placed it around Kylie’s neck. She smiled and said, “Please wear this in honor of my great grandmother.”
A tear ran down Kylie’s face, and she said, “This means the world to me!”
“Alright,” Lucas laughed as he opened his door, “It’s GO time!”
Kylie opened her door and headed in the direction of the trunk so that she could collect her overcoat. Before she could get there, though, the media jumped on her – not literally. They tried to stand between her and her destination; they shoved their microphones in her face, and they asked a stream of worthless questions.
Kylie raised her hand and said, “If you have questions for me, you can send them to me through my website. I promise I will answer them. Now is not the appropriate time. The ceremony is about to start. Please don’t hinder me.”
The reporters continued to ask their questions, but once they saw that she was serious, they moved on to the next “Star,” and Kylie was able to get her coat from the trunk.
***
Blossom’s opening ceremony was lively, and everyone said later that they’d had a good time. Furthermore, because it was Miller, who was the director, the ceremony attracted many A-List Actors. Among them, Kylie saw Edward Norton, Sally, Dwayne Johnson, and Emily Watson.
When Dora had the opportunity, she approached Sally and praised her on her dress. Dora touched it carefully and said, “The dress is gorgeous, but no one could bring it to life in the way that you do!”
Sally blushed and said, “Pish posh. It is nothing. The only reason I look good is that I pay a team to make me look this way. In fact, you are more beautiful than I am – and your beauty comes naturally!”
As they were talking, Kylie, who was still wearing her overcoat, came up to them and bowed politely to Sally. “Hello, Miss Cooper,” she said. “My name is Kylie. I grew up watching your films. You are my idol.”
“That means a lot to me,” Sally replied. “These days, if a film isn’t new, it’s worthless. Any time someone compliments me on my old films, it makes my day!”
Suddenly Dora took hold of Kylie’s coat. She gave it a tug as she said, “I have heard a lot about your dress. No use for hiding your light behind a bushel. Let’s see!”
Kylie’s coat fell open, and to Dora’s surprise, Kylie smiled and slipped out of the coat. Dora had intentionally purchased Kylie the same dress that Sally had bought in order to embarrass Kylie. However, when Dora pulled off Kylie’s overcoat, the shock in her eyes could not be disguised.
The dresses had been considerably altered to the point that they were no longer the same dresses.
The moment the overcoat was off, Kylie took a spin to show it off, and then she bowed.
“Your dress…” Dora gasped.
Misunderstanding Dora’s surprise, Sally patted her back and said, “I know, right. It is beautiful. If you look close, there are parts that are similar to mine, but hers looks much better.” Sally began to clap, and she said, “Well done! Well done! I can’t wait to see your picture on the cover of Entertainment Weekly!”
Chapter 243: I Am Not A Witch
Sally excused herself so that she could find her seat, but Dora grabbed Kylie’s jacket and forced her to stay where she was. Once they were alone, Dora stepped close to Kylie so that no one could hear what they were saying, and she said, “I don’t know how you pulled that off with the dress, but I have to give props where props are disserved. I do not know how you figured that out about the dress and, I suppose, at this point, it doesn’t matter, but don’t think that you won’t get yours. In the end, the house always wins!”
Kylie was shocked by what Dora had said, especially because she didn’t know what she’d been talking about. She was still trying to figure it out when Dora threw her coat at her and walked away.
Kylie reasoned that there was a connection between Ethan, Dora, and the dress, but she couldn’t figure out what it was. Not knowing what to do, Kylie decided to let it go for the moment and join the cast in the conference hall for their first official press conference.
Khloe had not been invited to take part in the press conference, but she had been allowed to come and sit in the audience – and the whole time she was there, she watched and waited for an opportunity to make a fool out of Kylie, and she had brought Jane to help her in any way that she could.
Khloe looked at Jane and said, “Did you bring what I asked you to bring?”
Jane pulled an eyebrow razor from her bag and handed it to Khloe. “Be careful,” she said. “It’s sharp.”
“I will,” Khloe replied. “Now go take some photos. Keep your eye on the net, and I will text you when or if I need you.”
Before the press conference got started, Miller stepped forward and introduced the film. The hero was a man named Berry. He killed bad guys and helped poor Latin Americans. In this capacity, it wasn’t long before he was assassinated by evil government officials. Eventually, though, a group of knights stood up. They killed the rich and helped the poor, a modern-day Robin Hood.
Cliff Benjamin would be the leading actor. Although Cliff was eccentric, he was also gentle. When he saw Kylie – the second leading lady – off to the sides, he helped her to the front so that she could stand beside Sally. “The leading actress and the second leading actress should be standing next to each other,” He said.
Standing next to Cliff and Sally, it all felt very surreal to Kylie. She saw them smiling and tried to smile along with them, but it was very hard. The cameras flashed one after another, and she began to feel dizzy. A moment later, she found herself looking in Dora’s direction. Bob happened to be standing beside her, though, and he thought she was staring at him, so she smiled and looked away.
At the end of the photoshoot, Kylie walked away hastily. After everything that had happened so far, she had begun to doubt the durability of her dress. Parts of it kept sliding, and it had begun to feel loose. Finally, she went to a corner and called Faith. They had been texting back and forth about the issue for the past half hour.
“How’s it coming?” Kylie wondered.
“I’ve snuck into the venue,” Faith replied. “Where shall we meet?”
Kylie said, “Let’s meet in the bathroom. Come Quickly.”
Kylie hung up and began to walk in the direction of the bathroom.
Khloe, who was behind Kylie, heard the whole conversation. She smiled and whispered to herself: “Kylie, you have no way out!”
Kylie was looking for the bathroom like a headless fly when, suddenly, Faith appeared and led her away from the bathrooms. “I have another dress for you to wear,” she said, “but it’s not safe to change clothes in the bathroom. I found an empty room that we can use instead.”
“Will it work?” Kylie said. “Don’t you think people will notice?”
“The waiters are serving dinner now,” Faith replied, “so it should be fine. And by the time it is over, nobody will care what anyone is wearing.”
The bathroom door opened, and Khloe snuck in. She checked every cubicle to make sure that no one was inside, and then she took cover in one of the stalls to wait for Kylie to come in. She was only there for a minute before someone entered. Khloe looked under the door, and she could see Kylie’s beige dress.
A moment later, she heard Kylie enter the stall next to her, and Kylie took a gigantic shit. The sound was horrifying and, when the smell hit her, she nearly threw up. It wasn’t long though – thankfully – before Kylie wiped her ass and flushed the toilet. When Khloe heard Kylie go to the sink to wash her hands, she pulled the razor blade out of her purse, came out of the cubicle, and snuck up behind Kylie.
Once she was directly behind Kylie, she slashed the back of her dress and rushed out of the bathroom.
When Kylie came out of the room that she’d been changing in, she nearly ran into Khloe, who was rushing out of the bathroom. When Khloe saw that Kylie was wearing her coat again, she naturally assumed that it was to hide the damage that had been done to her dress.
“Kylie,” she prompted. “It is hot in here. Why don’t you remove your coat?”
Kylie didn’t want to argue with Khloe, so she turned to walk away. Suddenly a thought crossed her mind, though, and she turned to confront her sister. “Did you stop paying our father’s medical bills?” she wondered.
“Why do you care?” Khloe sneered. “You hate him. All you’ve ever wanted from him is an inheritance!”
“Is there even an inheritance to receive?” Kylie wondered. “From what I’ve heard, you have not been a good steward.”
Khloe didn’t know what to say suddenly, because Kylie was right. Duncan had told her, just hours previously, that her stock was at an all-time low. The remaining stockholders were trying to sell their shares, but no one was buying. Everyone knew that Garcia Entertainment was on the verge of bankruptcy.
She had asked Duncan if he’d had any ideas, but he hadn’t had any.
“It is not as bad as you’ve heard,” Khloe lied. “All will be well.”
Khloe watched as Kylie took her seat at the front of the room, and she sat down behind her. When everyone saw what Khloe had done, they began to grumble. These seats of honor had been reserved for important people, and Khloe was not important. She was always pulling crap like this, which was one of the main reasons her reputation was bad.
Khloe leaned back in her chair and looked at Kylie’s back. She needed to find a way to get Kylie to remove her coat so that everyone could see her dress. Finally, the moment arrived and, when Kylie took off her coat, Khloe smiled and poked a finger into the hole she’d cut.
“My, my, my…” she whispered. “Look at how easy it is for the high and mighty to fall. It is like the bible says: “Pride cometh before a fall; a haughty spirit before destruction.”
Kylie turned around quickly and, what Khloe saw made her jump. The dress had been cut, but the person she’d thought was Kylie was not Kylie. It was the movie queen, Sally Finch!
“What did you just say?” Sally snarled.
Khloe’s fingers were still stuck inside of Sally’s dress. She wanted to pull them out, but her body was frozen. She looked helplessly at Bob on the opposite side of the table, but he was also staring at her with a look of disgust on his face.
Everyone’s eyes turned to Khloe. She had become a laughingstock at the Oscars. No doubt, after this, her career would be ruined as well. If worse came to worse, Sally could also sue her for damages. If she did, Khloe did not doubt that Sally would win.
Khloe scrambled for words. She said, “I am so sorry. I thought you were Kylie…”
Cliff suddenly smiled. He put down his glass of wine and said, “I have heard rumors that you are always tormenting Kylie. Now we all know the truth! You are a real witch! In medieval times, we could have stoned you. Even the bible says, ‘Do not suffer a witch to live’ – so count your blessings that you were born in such a forgiving time as this!”
“No,” Khloe cried. “I am not a witch! It was just a joke!”
“Ha!” Sally cried as she slapped Khloe across the face. Jokes are supposed to be funny. This was not a joke. It was an attack!”
“I’m sorry,” Khloe whined. “When I saw that Kylie copied your dress, I thought it would be a good idea to prank her. That is all!”
Sally scowled, and she said, “I don’t know what you are talking about. I saw Kylie’s dress, and it doesn’t match mine!”
“I’ll prove it to you,” Khloe replied. “Where is Kylie?”
When Kylie heard Khloe’s question, she stood up and said, “I’m right here. Why are you dragging me into this? I didn’t do anything to deserve what you’ve done, and neither did Sally!”
Khloe’s jaw nearly hit the ground when she saw what Kylie was wearing. Kylie was wearing a rose-red evening dress that looked nothing like the dress that Sally was wearing. As Khloe stared at her, Kylie walked over to where Sally and Khloe were sitting.
Dora saw that Kylie had changed her clothes, and she wanted to say something, but all she could do was clench her teeth and remain silent. She knew that if she said something, she would have to admit to her own wrongdoing.
Chapter 244: Take It Back
Khloe’s brain was running a mile a minute as she tried to figure out a way to save face. Eventually, she turned to face Kylie and said, “When you arrived, you were in a different dress. Wasn’t it the same as the one that Sally is wearing?”
Kylie looked at her and then at Sally. She pulled her first dress out of her bag and said, “Indeed, I started the evening in another dress. You can see that there are similarities between it and Sally’s dress, but you can also see that they are not the same. Even if they were, I would have had no hope at outshining the sun.
“Initially,” Kylie admitted, “the dresses were the same. When I learned that they were the same, though, I altered my dress to save face. Halfway through the evening, my dress began to fall apart, so I had to change. As you can see, I am as much a victim as Sally is.”
Not knowing what else to do or say, Khloe lowered her head and walked away. Before she was halfway to the door, though, Sally stopped her. In a commanding voice, she said, “Stop right there. There is still the matter of the dress and my own personal injuries. When you snuck up behind me and slashed the dress, you also cut into my skin. Anyone can see if they’d like to look.”
No one took up Sally’s offer, and after hearing these accusations, Khloe’s heart beat fast, and she began to hyperventilate.
“Once we were in this room,” Sally continued, “you sought to use that to shame me. What’s wrong with you? It wasn’t enough to destroy my dress and cut my skin, but you had to poke your fingers into my dress and try to make me look like a fool. What do you have to say for yourself?”
Suddenly Khloe began to foam at the mouth. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head, and, as she fell to the ground, her consciousness slipped away. “What a drama queen,” Sally sighed. “Now she’ll never be held accountable for her actions.” She looked around the room and said, “I suppose somebody ought to call 9-1-1.”
Khloe had hit her head when she’d fallen, but she’d known that in order to make her ordeal look real, she’d have to risk injury. When the paramedics began to move her, it was incredibly hard to keep herself from crying out. She knew that if she did, her lie would be discovered, and she would be even worse off than she’d been in the first place.
As the paramedics completed their ABCs – Airway, Breathing, and Circulation – the media began to crowd around them. Things had already been interesting as Khloe’s evil intentions were revealed, but this really took the story to another level. Cameras flashed one after the other without stop and, even though no one was answering their questions, they couldn’t help but shout them out. It was a part of their nature to be inquisitive.
Khloe’s assistant tried to push her way through the crowd, but the paramedics would only allow her to get so close. She obeyed their directions while waiting for an opportunity to slip past them. When the time finally arrived, she lunged forward, took Khloe’s hand, and said, “Miss Finch, what’s wrong with you?”
Khloe squeezed her assistant’s hand to let her know that it was all an act. Seeing how she’d slipped past them, the paramedics rushed her. Before they got to her, though, she said, “Stop! You can’t take her to the hospital. She has no money to pay the bills, and her father is already in the hospital – and no one is paying his bill! Just take him to my house, and I will take care of her!”
The paramedics conferred with each other and finally agreed that, so long as she had a nurse check in on her daily, her idea was probably the best option.
***
As soon as they were alone in the assistant’s home, Khloe stood up and stretched. She laughed and said, “Well, that was something, wasn’t it? A real adventure – I couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you!”
“It was nothing,” the assistant replied. “I was even able to send out the photos of Kylie dressed in rags as you’d asked.”
Suddenly Khloe’s smile turned upside down, and she slapped her assistant across the face. She knew that, if the picture went out, Sally would know where it came from, and she would seek revenge on Kylie’s behalf. “Take it back!” Khloe shouted.
Hearing this demand, Khloe’s assistant was completely confused. She had only done as she’d been asked. For the first time, she looked at Khloe and wondered if she was completely sane or not… Not knowing what else to do, she called the reporter she’d sent the pictures to and asked him not to run with the story. “I am sorry,” he said, “but it is too late. Everyone here has seen them. The pictures cannot be repressed.”
Cliff looked at Kylie and said, “I think that that was the craziest thing that I have ever seen happen at one of these events. I will tell you something that would make it even crazier: I think that Khloe faked her medical incident!”
“I don’t know about that,” Kylie replied, “but I wouldn’t put it past her. That girl is a lunatic. I can’t believe she tried to go after me with a razor!”
“She should be charged,” Cliff added.
Before they could say anything more, Bob came over and sat with them, and then they all ordered off of the menu. Kylie was sitting between him and Cliff and, across from her, sat Dora. She didn’t say much, but, every time Kylie looked up at her, she could see the anger in her eyes. She gave it no mind, though. She had learned long ago that anger was a kind of poison. They had all gathered to celebrate but, so long as Dora was angry, she could not be happy.
After a while, Miller took a seat beside Dora. He had a wine glass in his hand that he raised as a toast. “To us,” he said. “To Hollywood, and to our good fortune to be able to make movies for a living. May our good fortune last until the day that we die!”
Everyone – even Dora – raised their glasses. “Cheers!”
Cliff glanced at Kylie as he sipped the wine from his glass. It was her first glass of wine for the evening, and he hoped that she wouldn’t get in trouble for it. Ethan and Kylie’s relationship was very public, which meant that a lot of people knew how he could be jealous and controlling and that he generally didn’t allow her to drink.
Indeed, as she drank, she frowned. He was not sure if her sadness was because of the wine or because she was nervous, or for some other reason. Kylie’s eyelashes were slightly wet, though. It made her look rather pitiful and, seeing her this way, and he felt as if his heart had been crushed into a post by a Mack Truck.
Putting down his glass, he gave her a glass of honey water and said, “Drink this. It will make you feel better.”
When Miller saw how Cliff was taking care of Kylie, he smiled, and he said, “Cliff, you are a good man.”
Cliff blushed, and he said, “It’s nothing. It’s a tough old world. We’ve all got to watch out for one another.”
“True, true,” Miller chuckled. “True, true.”
Miller offered another toast and, once it was done, Kylie excused herself to go to the washroom.
Cliff watched her walk away. She had a mis balanced step, and he was worried about her, so he made an excuse to leave the table, and he went off in the direction that she’d gone.
As Kylie walked out of the restaurant, the cold wind made her head spin. She found the washroom easily and, once she’d peed, she found a payphone and dialed Faith’s number. As soon as Faith picked up, she said, “Come and get me as fast as you can. I’m drunk, and I’m scared!”
“Wait for me at the door,” Faith replied. “I’ll be there as soon as I can.”
Faith hung up the phone and told Lucas to bring the car to the front of the building. “Kylie’s in trouble,” she said. “We need to pick her up.
Kylie leaned against the marble pillar, and the cold metal helped to clear her head. As her stomach churned, she turned back in the bathroom direction, but she walked straight into a wall instead and fell to the ground.
Cliff saw her fall, and he helped her to stand up. “Are you okay?” he asked her. “Is someone coming to pick you up?”
Kylie tried to answer but, when she opened her mouth, she puked all over Cliff, and a pungent smell immediately permeated the air. Cliff frowned in disgust, and he wanted to let Kylie go, but he was afraid that she couldn’t stand on her own.
“I’m so sorry,” Kylie cried. “I must have drunk too much. I suppose this is why Ethan never allows me to drink…”
“Never mind,” Cliff sighed. “What’s done is done.”
Cliff helped Kylie to sit on a chair, and then he went to talk to someone at the reception desk. He explained the situation and asked for a room so that Kylie could lie down while she waited for her ride. As soon as they heard his story, the staff opened a room up for her on the main floor and set about cleaning the mess she’d made.
Chapter 245: Tell Me Everything
When Faith arrived, she was annoyed that Kylie wasn’t waiting for her at the door. She frowned, got out of the car, and headed in the direction of the reception desk. Once there, she said, “I’m looking for my friend. She is drunk and in distress. Have you seen her?”
The attendant pointed to the garbage bin and said, “Her vomit is in there. That’s, I know.”
Not knowing what else to do, Faith searched the bathroom and all of the other public places on the first floor. Having been unsuccessful in her search, she headed back to the car.
“Where’s Kylie?” Lucas wondered.
“She’s nowhere,” Faith gasped. “I couldn’t find her. Can you try calling her phone?”
Lucas tried her number a few times, but there was no answer. “I think that the power on her phone is off,” he said.
“What should we do?!” Faith cried in distress. “Should we call Lord Ethan?”
Lucas shrugged, and he said, “There isn’t anything else we can do…”
Faith dialed Ethan’s number, and when he answered, she told him that they were unable to locate Kylie. Ethan, of course, was taken aback by her remark. “Tell me everything,” he said.
“Kylie went to the opening ceremony,” Faith cried. “Next thing I know, she’s calling me, telling me that she needs help and that she’s drunk. I couldn’t find her, though, and she’s not answering her phone!”
“I’ll be right there,” Ethan replied as he hung up.

Cliff took Kylie into the room and gently put her on the bed. “You’re really good at vomiting,” he laughed as he began to unbutton his shirt.
Completely drunk, Kylie began to cry. “I’m so sorry,” she cried. “I am such a loser. My father doesn’t love me…”
Cliff sighed as he helped Kylie into the bed and, once she was settled, he took off the rest of his clothes and climbed into the shower. He had already filled the sink with hot water and thrown his shirt in to soak. After his shower was done, he dried his body, sniffed his arms, and applied lotion to them.
He was worried that Kylie would throw up in the bed, so he poked his head into the room to make sure that she was alright. When he did this, though, he was caught completely off guard to see that she was sleeping and that she was naked!
Cliff averted his eyes and began to collect Kylie’s clothes. When he found her underwear, he was amused to see that they had pictures of Hello Kitty on them. It had a pink lace trim around the waist and a delicate bow that would sit near her belly button.
Cliff glanced at Kylie and, after confirming that she was still asleep, he brought the panties to his face, took a deep sniff at her crotch, and smiled. It was unlike anything he’d ever smelt before. It was sweet, musky, and completely indescribable. He took a tentative taste and was happy to find that it tasted even better than it smelled.
Somebody knocked on the door suddenly, and Cliff jumped. He let the panties drop to the floor, and he called to the door, “Go away. No service needed!”
Not only did the knocking not stop, but it got louder and faster.
Cliff scowled. This hotel had a five-star rating. If he wanted privacy, he should have privacy.
“This is not room service!” Ethan shouted as he kicked the door down. He stepped into the room, and a hoard of press followed behind him.
Cliff’s hair was still wet from his shower. Drops of water were trickling off of his hair, and as the cameras took their pictures, he felt terribly exposed. “Cliff,” one of the reporters called, “it’s said that you have a special relationship with Kylie Finch. Is it true?”
Another tried to look past Cliff and Ethan. He said, “Isn’t that Kylie Finch in your room?”
“Today’s the opening ceremony of Director Miller’s film,” the first reporter said. “Why have you chosen to announce your relationship with Kylie Finch now? Is this a publicity stunt, or have you had a special relationship with Kylie Finch since the Tea Maiden concluded?”
Cliff looked at them anxiously. The reporters still hadn’t spotted Kylie, so he still had time to get them out – but he didn’t know how best to use that time. Furthermore, the minute the media saw them together, they would be doomed. Facing these questions, Cliff felt cornered.
Cliff stepped back slowly in an attempt to get back to Kylie and increase the amount of space between them and the press. Apparently, though, the reporters had the same idea; as he stepped back, they stepped forward. Up until now, Cliff had been open about any relationships that he’d been in. Thus, if they discovered that there was something between him and Kylie, it would be a big deal.
Cliff put his hand in front of his face and said, “I’m sorry, but I have nothing to say.”
Up until now, Ethan had said nothing. From what he could see, Ethan had been assessing the situation. Finally, he stepped in between Cliff and the reporters. He looked at them and shouted in their face: “This is not your room. You have no right to be here. Get out of here! All of you! Get out!”
When Ethan was in a rage, his voice could be quite intimidating. Seeing the expression on his face and hearing the tone in his voice, many of the reporters shuffled away. A few refused to leave, though. They looked at Ethan and said, “This is an important interview. We can’t leave now. The public has a right to know.”
Ethan scowled and asked the one reporter what station he worked for. The reporter swallowed hard and he said,” I work for the Entertainment News.”
The reporter watched in fear and awe as Ethan dialed the number for his station, explained the situation, and passed him the phone. It was the president of the Entertainment News on the other end of the line. He said, “Back off,” and then he passed the phone back to Ethan.
The reporter’s face turned a sickly pale shade of green as he apologized and slowly backed out of the room.
On his way out, the reporter looked down and realized that he had urinated in his trousers. A few of the reporters snickered, but he looked at them unashamedly and said, “If I were you, I would get out while the going’s good. This guy has more power than any of us realized.
One experienced female reporter stepped forward and said, “We promise to stay quiet and never bother your business, provided we are allowed to stay.”
Ethan gave her an indifferent glance, and then he turned and walked in the direction of the bed. Elliot, meanwhile, guarded the door and kept an eye on the reporters.
