Chapter 346: Marriage License
A prison in Seattle.
Michael heard the footsteps in confusion.
It wasn’t seven o’clock yet, and not the round time. Who was walking in the passage?
With a creak, the door was pushed open, and a slender shadow fell from the door crack to the ground.
Michael tried to turn his head, and looked at the man wearing a mask and a white coat standing in front of his bed, then asked in a weak voice, “You… Who are you?”
There was a touch of disdain flashed by the man’s eyes.
“A doctor,” he said coldly.
Michael widened his eyes at once, trying to reach out his hand to grab the man. “Did-did boss sen-send you here?” He was out of breath when he finished the sentence. To his surprise, the boss didn’t abandon him.
“Idiot! You ruined everything!” the man criticized him in a cold voice.
“No, no.” Michael tried to sit up, but he soon fell down again before his head could leave the pillow. “It’s all because of Ethan! It was all his fault! He’s a devil!”
The doctor snorted with disdain, then took out a syringe from his pocket. “Boss said you can take a rest from now on, and don’t worry about these things.”
“No! No!” Seeing the needle stuck into the infusion set, and the light blue liquid flowing in, Michael’s face became ferocious.
He finally understood it now that the boss didn’t send someone to visit him, but to kill him after their plan failed.
Veins were clearly visible around Michael’s forehead, and he stared straight forward, losing his strength over time, like a fish dying in a dry pit.
The bedside monitor sounded an alarm, and the doctor calmly pulled the needle and put it back into his pocket. He watched Michael breathe out his last breath, then pushed the door open, walking outside.
The medical staff was running to Michael’s room while he wore an expressionless face stepping in the opposite direction. When he walked by a trash can, he dumped the syringe into it.

When Ethan, who was signing his name at the Marriage License Bureau, received the call, he squinted at Kylie, who could barely sit up straight due to her sore back.
“Got it.”
Kylie was out of strength now, and her hand was too weak to hold the pen.
“Couldn’t we do it another day?”
“We’ll be done soon after taking a picture together.” Ethan put her on his legs and held her hand to write down her name. “Let me help you.”
“No.” Kylie rejected and escaped away. “You can’t force me to do so. I must write it down on my own.”
“How about now?” Ethan gently rubbed her waist with a tender smile on his face.
Kylie flushed. “Don’t press your wood against me!”
Ethan kissed her, saying with a smile, “I can’t help it. It gets exciting every time it touches you.”
A female officer in this bureau looked at this couple across the table.
The two walked inside once they opened the door, but they still hadn’t finished the legal procedure now.
In the beginning, she even felt sorry for Kylie, because she mistook Kylie as a disabled person, and couldn’t understand why Kylie hesitated to fill the blanks if Kylie was going to marry such a handsome man.
However, she discovered something unusual about them.
No matter how noisy or messy the surroundings were, the man wouldn’t move his eyes away from the girl.
Although he was wearing an expressionless face all the time, his sight fell on the girl from the beginning to the end, like it was never enough to look at her.
Just then, he even smiled, which was so charming.
Even she, who was a middle-aged woman, was attracted to him.
Kylie pinched Ethan’s cheek, then said, “Stop flirting with me! Let’s go take the picture. I must go to work today.”
“Yes, madam.” Ethan carried Kylie in his arms, walking into the photo room.
They sat together shoulder to shoulder, but Ethan was still staring at Kylie.
“Sir, I understand your bride is very beautiful, but I think you should look at me now,” the photographer jokes.
Ethan did turn to give him a glance, but it was a cold one.
The photographer swallowed once, feeling a little frightened.
Just when he pressed the shutter, a beautiful picture was left in the lens, in which the man’s tender eyes still fell on the girl’s face.
Finally, they went to get their marriage licenses from the middle-aged female officer who sat at the table.
“Miss, are you sure you’re willing to be married?”
Kylie coughed a little, then approached Ethan. “Yes, I’m sure.”
Kylie stared straight at Ethan.
The middle-aged female officer then turned to Ethan and asked with a smile. “Sir, are you sure you’re going to marry this miss and you won’t regret it no matter what will happen in the future?”
What? Are you sure you’re not setting us apart? Kylie thought to herself.
Ethan nodded with a serious face. “I’m sure. This lady will and only will be my wife.”
“Fine.” The middle-aged female officer had nothing else to say, then gave their marriage licenses to them. “Congratulations! You’re a legal couple now.”
Just when Kylie reached out her hand to take them, Ethan grabbed them away.
“You’re going to work today. Just leave them to me. I’ll take care of them.” After that, Ethan insisted on carrying Kylie in his arms, walking out of the Marriage License Bureau.
“Put me down! The middle-aged female officer thought I’m a disabled person!” Kylie was mad.
Ethan gave her a glance with a broad smile on his lips. He walked to the Knight XV, and Elliot opened the car door for him. “Congratulations! Mr. Parker and Mrs. Parker.”
The same picture emerged again in Kylie’s mind.
When he had deceived her into marrying him, he had done the same thing, and he even had sent Elliot and Pupu a gift.
“Give me!” Kylie spread her hand out.
“What?” Ethan held her hand and pulled her to his arms.
Kylie drew her hand back, then spread it out before the man’s face again. “Gift! Shouldn’t you send Elliot a gift?”
Elliot gave the rear-view mirror a glance and said with great respect, “Thank you, Mrs. Parker.”
Ethan glanced at Elliot, then announced. “You’re the manager of the Publicity Department now.”
It was nothing to send out gifts, and Ethan directly promoted Elliot after he said congratulations to them.
Elliot felt so honored. “Thank you so much, Mrs. Parker and Mr. Parker!”
Kylie pouted. “You’re not working in the Century Group now. Why did you send Elliot there?”
“He’s the manager of Peak Pictures now,” Ethan said. His hand smoothed Kylie’s hair.
Seeing she was in a good mood now, Ethan opened his mouth again, “I just received a call from the hospital. Michael’s dead.”
Kylie’s body stiffened a little, turning to look at him. “Did he die from cancer?” “Not really, he had injected a medicine which stopped his heart from beating,” Ethan said.
Kylie compressed her lips and felt slightly sorry for him. “I planned to support him during his old age if he’s willing to change, but it seems there is no need to do that now.”
Ethan tightened his arms to let her lie on his chest. “Do you want to see him for the last glance?”
“No.” Kylie shook her head. “I’ll just remember what he has done to you if I see him again. I don’t care if he’s dead now.” Kylie stopped for a second, then looked to Ethan. “Did you always plan to attract Michael’s attention by using my identity?”
Chapter 347: Pregnant For Two Months
“To the film and television base,” Ethan ignored Kylie’s question, saying to Elliot.
Kylie stared at him, but he gazed into space.
A while later, he lowered his head to kiss on her eyes. “Have some sleep. You must be exhausted after last night.”
In fact, even though he didn’t want to answer her question, Kylie easily figured it out, given his attitude towards her before.
He was eager to catch Michael.
If it hadn’t been for Kylie, Michael could have hidden away. Even if he kept committing crimes, it would be very hard for Ethan to catch him in person.
Therefore, Ethan must protect Kylie and expose her relationship with Michael at the same time.
“Fine, I forgive you this time.” Kylie took off her shoes, lying on the man’s legs to relax.
Ethan rubbed her soft stomach, then moved upwards to her chest. His long slim fingers pinched her boob lightly.
“It’s bigger now.”
Kylie patted his hand away, giving Elliot a side glance.
There was another person in the car, but the man wouldn’t limit his casual behavior.
Without Ethan’s order, Elliot lifted the car partition at once.
All of a sudden, there were only two of them in the small space. Ethan’s fingers then slid into her clothes, touching her smooth skin.
“Let’s go on a vacation after you finish the shooting of this film,” Ethan said in a gentle voice.
“Honeymoon?” Kylie smiled.
She also ached for a vacation to relax after what she had been through during the past days.
However, before she made a decision on which island she would go to do some sunbathing, she heard the man’s voice with laughter. “Let’s make a baby.”
Kylie’s heart tightened a little and remembered what Stephen had said.
The medicine the housekeeper had put into the glass of milk could cause infertility, but she couldn’t say it aloud when Ethan’s face was full of anticipation for a baby.
“Um, probably I’m already pregnant,” Kylie lied.
Ethan’s hand stopped.
When they had had sex in the Empire Hotel last time, he did have retreated at the end, although he had lost control of himself to some extent.

“Baby, my sweet baby!” Seeing the man being shy, Kylie kept saying that on purpose, but the man closed her mouth with his lips the next second.
Even though her mouth was closed, Kylie bit the top of the man’s tongue at a great speed.
Ethan felt a little painful and drew his tongue back. Kylie beamed with pleasure, holding his face in her palms.
“Oh my sweet baby, are you flushing now?” Kylie gloated, and totally forgot they were on the way to the hospital now.

“I didn’t drink much, and I don’t want to pee now.” Kylie pouted, sitting on the bench outside of the outpatient department of gynecology.
“We can draw your blood.”
“Fine, I’ll go to pee.” Kylie seemed very unwilling to do that.
If she just did the urine test, it was possible for her to hide the secret that she could be infertile. However, when she just turned around, the doctor said, “We’ll have a B-scan first before we do the urine test.”
It seemed Kylie wasn’t able to hide away from it.
Kylie felt quite nervous lying on the bed. There was cold liquid on her stomach, and she held her breath all the time.
“Relax, it’ll be fine,” the doctor said with a smile to comfort her.
Ethan stood in front of the screen, but he seemed growlingly upset, which scared Kylie. She felt her heart was in her throat now.
“Alright, you can get up now.” The doctor gave her a tissue.
Kylie cleaned the liquid on her stomach up, then asked, “How is it?”
“Very good,” the doctor said with a smile, giving the B-scan report print to Ethan.
Ethan held the print in his hand tightly, and ignored Kylie, striding out of the room.
Seeing that, Kylie felt it wasn’t a good result, but why was the doctor smiling at her?
She caught up with Ethan, “Ethan, wait!”
The man didn’t stop his steps but walked ahead faster.
Kylie was anxious. She even called him her sweet baby in public, but the man still wore a cold face walking away.
“Hey! The doctor said I’m fine. Why are you so nervous?” Kylie ran to him with her high-heels in hands.
When she just wanted to grab the report print from his hand, the man raised his arm, and she failed.
Ethan noticed she was barefoot, then said coldly, “Put on your shoes.”
“No!” Kylie threw her high-heels to the ground. “Tell me the result!”
Ethan walked back to her, and Kylie stepped backward at once in fear. However, the man caught her and carried her in his arms within seconds.
“I’m fine! The doctor said I’m fine! Why are you so upset? If you regret, we can divorce now!” Kylie struggled.
Ethan went back to the room and gently put her down on the bed.
“You still want to work?” he said, squeezing the report print into her hand. “You’ve been pregnant for two months!”
Chapter 348: I’m Going To Be A Father
“What did you say?” Kylie was struck dumb.
“See it yourself.” The man pointed at the result of the report print. Pregnant for eight weeks.
Eight weeks? When did it happen?
Kylie was surprised. Did she get pregnant that night when she had said Ethan’s sperm wasn’t strong enough to annoy him, and he had moved hard on her body for a whole night?
“Didn’t you ejaculate outside?” Kylie stammered.
Stephen said she could be infertile, but the B-scan report showed she had already been pregnant for two months.

“I need to ask the doctor right now,” Ethan said, then gave the B-scan report print to the doctor and discussed rejected sexual intercourse with the doctor.

It was a secret video!

Ethan was standing in the front of the basin with a cigarette squeezed in his fingers. He pulled on it at a fast pace with a serious look on the face. It seemed he was facing something unpleasant.
Seeing his tight frown, Kylie was nervous. He doesn’t believe the baby is his.
Kylie was eager to run to the men’s room and clasp him. She would tell him he was the only man that she had sex with, and she loved him more than he knew.
Just when she moved her feet, she saw Ethan put out the cigarette in the video before he made a call.
“Nate, I’m going to be a father!” Ethan said quickly and hung up before Nate could say a word.

The next second, Kylie felt like laughing.
When Ethan finished making calls, he danced the Tango in the men’s room to the ringtones. No matter who called him right now, he wouldn’t answer it.
His every movement was very standard and looked so professional when he shook his head.
This was a scene Kylie had never seen before.
“Ethan can dance?” Kylie looked to Elliot with a great surprise.
“Yes, Lord Ethan is the heir of his family, so he learned all the social skills,” Elliot said with embarrassment. “But, I haven’t seen Lord Ethan dancing for many years.”
Kylie laughed while watching the video.
Ethan was so adorable!
He didn’t show his happiness on the face, but he lost control of his excitement at the end.
As time went by, Kylie whimpered all of a sudden.
Ethan lacked too much love and a sense of safety, so he didn’t know how to express his feelings.
No matter it was love, friendship, or family connection, he would hide it deep in the heart.
When Ethan walked back again, he saw Kylie whimpering.
“What happened?” His big palm laid on her shoulder.
Kylie put the phone into her pocket at once. “Why did you walk away? Are you doubtful that the baby could be another man’s?”
“Nonsense!” Ethan said.
“What did you do just then?” Kylie asked.
She was curious how Ethan would answer it.
Ethan panicked a little, then said in a tender voice, “I just walked aside to have a cigarette. Smoke isn’t good for your body.”
“You lied!” Kylie cried. “You just don’t believe this baby is yours!”
“I do!”
“You don’t!”
Elliot suddenly found out Kylie was so good at acting. If he didn’t know the truth, he might believe she was really heartbroken too. Unfortunately, Ethan was too worried about her emotions to notice that she actually was acting.
Ethan’s phone rang again in his pocket. He took a glance at it, then hung up.
“Who called you? Why didn’t you answer it? Was it Dora? Are you still keeping in touch with her?” Kylie asked a series of questions within a breath.
Ethan took a deep breath.
It seemed to be true that women could be very emotional during pregnancy.
He hugged her in his arms, patting her back to comfort her. “I was just too happy and excited, so I went to stay alone for a while.”
Kylie struggled and got rid of his arms.
“You’re lying. Everyone shares the good news with friends, and nobody will hide away,” Kylie said, then put on her shoes and walked out.
Ethan carried her in his arms all day today, and Kylie barely walked on her own feet.
Elliot thanked the doctor at once, then ran out to follow them up. Seeing Ethan carrying Kylie in his arms, closing the door of an elevator, Elliot had to run down from the stairs.
Kylie hugged his neck. “If you’re really happy, why don’t you dance for me?”

Kylie got excited and couldn’t help joining the dance battle with Ethan in the elevator.

“Mrs. Parker, are you going to join the film crew now?” Elliot ran to them from the stairs in a hurry.

Everyone was losing patience.
“Director Miller, are we going to shoot today or not?” an actress snorted with dissatisfaction.
“Exactly, she said she wants to work overtime, and we all cleared our schedules to come here, but we’ve waited for her for three hours. Where is she now?” The production assistant was also displeased.

Lauren put on a smile. She thought it was charming, then walked to the man. “Hi, may I help?”
Ethan gave them a cold glance. “I think you better shut your mouths if you don’t know how to use them.” After that, he strode ahead to Bob Miller, who was wearing a satisfied face.
“Is he Kylie’s boyfriend too?”
“Far more than that,” Elliot sneered. “He’s the boss of Peak Pictures and the investor of this film.”
Knowing that the two supporting actors were scared, while Lauren followed up with a smirk.
She didn’t believe this extraordinarily handsome man could be Kylie’s boyfriend. Probably he just didn’t like hearing gossip.
If she was able to win the support of the boss of Peak Pictures, she could be famous without making an effort.
“Oh, hi, why didn’t you tell me you’ll come here?” Bob stood up at once, giving his seat to Ethan.
“I just walked by.” The man sat down without hesitation, staring at the woman in the monitor, who devoted herself to acting in the scene.
Bob smiled but didn’t say another word. He gave his assistant an eye, and his assistant immediately went to prepare coffee, then he gave a cigarette to Ethan in person.
“I stopped smoking.” Ethan shook his hand.
Bob was surprised and thought he was joking. “When?”
“Just then.”
Before Bob could say something again, Ethan ordered, “Tell every man in this crew to stop smoking from now on.”
Bob felt cornered.
They always worked overtime and relied on cigarettes to cheer themselves up. It was impossible for them to work at the set without cigarettes.
“Lord Ethan, we have great fire control at this set.”
Ethan gave him a cold glance. “If anyone must smoke, go somewhere a kilometer away.”
To Bob’s astonishment, Ethan came here in person to forbid them from smoking.
Bob could obey his order but didn’t understand why he did that.
“Cut!” the assistant director said. “Prepare the next scene.”
After that, he lit a cigarette, then pulled on it, saying to Kylie who was walking to him.
“You’ve done a great job this time. Keep on it, and we can finish your part in three days,” he said, and the smoke flew out from his mouth.
A gentle breeze drifted by, and the smoke all flew to Kylie’s face.
