Chapter 281

Avril, fearing Bonnie might agree under provocation, quickly pulled Bonnie away. Bonnie, let’s not bother with her. We’d fall for her provocation if we agreed to the challenge.”

Bonnie shrugged it off. “I’m not stupid. I can tell she’s trying to provoke me. Why should I bother competing with a clown like her? It’s embarrassing.”

“Exactly. Come on, let’s go to the convenience store. I’ll treat you to ice cream,” Avril said, pulling Bonnie outside.

Selina was seething with anger, her fingertips trembling. Watching Bonnie leave and feeling everyone around her laughing at her, she felt like Bonnie described her. She was just a clown.

“Bonnie, aren’t you afraid that by avoiding the challenge, rumors will spread that your country bumpkin parents didn’t give you anything and that their daughter is naturally useless?” Selina taunted.

Bonnie suddenly stopped in her tracks, turning to look at Selina with ice–cold eyes.

This look made Selina shiver.

“Do you care that much about being the campus belle?” Bonnie asked coldly.

Selina’s mouth hung open as she looked at Bonnie’s expressionless face. She felt like Bonnie didn’t care about the campus belle competition.

“For the sake of a campus belle title, you’re willing to insult someone’s parents? Don’t you have any decency as a student who got into the academy?” Bonnie continued sternly.

Selina’s mouth grew wider as the surrounding voices began to stir.

“Selina’s behavior is indeed disgraceful. Despite being a senior and occupying the campus belle position for two years, she’s jealous of the new freshman’s beauty. To provoke her into a challenge, she even insults her background, which she can’t control.”

“What’s wrong with being from the countryside? Most of the students who get into the academy come from rural areas. Rural folk rely on our efforts, burning the midnight oil every night to get in. Unlike some wealthy kids who only know how to live lavishly and arrogantly, relying on their families to get into the academy. What gives?”

“That’s right. I’m grateful to the person who suggested abolishing the backdoor

admissions policy. It’s fantastic! If he’s willing to become our academy’s president in the future, I fully support it.”

“Me too.”

“I second that.”

“Me too.”

Selina’s face grew hotter and hotter. She never expected things to escalate like this.

At this rate, she wouldn’t need to compete with Bonnie in piano to lose completely.

Even Trina didn’t expect Selina, who seemed extremely cunning, to lose so thoroughly in

front of Bonnie.

However, Bonnie spoke up. “All right, I agree to compete with you.”

Both Selina and Trina were stunned.

With the current situation, Bonnie was already in a winning position, and the campus belle title was guaranteed to fall to her. Bonnie didn’t have to agree to the piano competition. She was just digging a hole to bury herself.

Even Avril was startled. “Bonnie, do you know what you’re saying? Don’t act on impulse! We’re in a strong position now.”

“I know, but I can’t tolerate someone casually insulting my parents. If it were you, and someone insulted your parents, could you just accept it?” Bonnie looked at Avril seriously.

The question stumped Avril.

Chapter 282

She couldn’t tolerate it either.

“But-“Avril frowned, whispering in Bonnie’s ear, “Selina isn’t just good at playing the piano. She’s also a member of the Pyralian Pianists Association.”

“She?” Bonnie paused momentarily, carefully scrutinizing Selina’s face, “How come I don’t remember such a person in the Pyralian Pianists Association?”

“Huh? You remember? What do you mean by that? Don’t tell me you know people from the Pyralian Pianists Association?” Avril was somewhat bewildered.

Bonnie scrutinized Selina again. Indeed, she didn’t have any impression of this person.

“She shouldn’t be a core member of the Pyralian Pianists Association, right?”

“That’s true, she isn’t. I heard she got in as the last one. But even if she’s at the bottom, it’s still our city’s Pyralian Pianists Association! It can’t compare to the Pyralian Pianists

t compare t

Associations in small towns.”

“No wonder I haven’t seen this person before,” Bonnie muttered.

Eight years ago, Elliana brought her into the Pyralian Pianists Association’s hall, challenging all the core members and winning without surprise. From that moment on, Elliana insisted on passing her legacy to her.

Selina stepped forward, facing Bonnie. “Are you going to compete with me?”

Bonnie’s expression was cold. “What’s the point of saying that? Didn’t you come prepared?”

“You-” Selina choked again, her face turning purple, grinding her teeth, “Fine, you asked for it!”

Ten minutes later, this attracted almost all the school’s students.

“Did you hear? Selina, the campus belle, wants to have a piano competition with the new freshman.”

“Selina isn’t even that pretty. She should hand over the campus belle title. Why make things difficult for a first–year student?”

“Exactly. Why compete with a first–year student on playing piano when she knows she’s good

? Isn’t this bullying?”

There were voices supporting Bonnie and those supporting Selina. NôvelDrama.Org

“Being pretty doesn’t make someone a campus belle. They also need to excel in academics and morals. Haven’t you heard about Bonnie? She got kicked out of the Shepard family because of her terrible character, causing a big uproar.”

“Not only that, I also heard she has a sugar daddy, and it is an old man. I can’t stand it. She’s willing to sell her soul and body for the sake of some material possessions. I can’t stand someone like her becoming the campus belle of our school.”

“You’re right. Our school is one of the top three schools in the country. If outsiders find. out that we’ve chosen such a morally corrupt person as our campus belle, our school will become the laughingstock of everyone.”

This matter escalated more and more.

In the Student Council office, the Pyralis University Student Council vice president, Daniel Humphrey, busied himself with the school forum.

“Coleman, don’t just focus on reading music scores; occasionally indulge in worldly affairs. Look at the campus belle election and piano competition. How exciting. Our school hasn’t been this lively in a long time.”

Coleman, sitting opposite him, was graceful and unparalleled in the world. Dressed neatly, he had an extraordinary bearing.

“Piano competition? Did Selina pick a fight on her initiative?”

“It seems so.

“Selina, after all, is a member of the Pyralian Pianists Association. Even if she’s not a core member, her skills can’t be underestimated. Bonnie will face a tough challenge,” Coleman said thoughtfully, tapping his fingers on the desk.

Daniel nodded, still scrolling through the forum. “True, but it’s not just about skills. The campus belle title also considers character and behavior. Bonnie’s reputation isn’t exactly stellar, which might affect the outcome.”

Coleman leaned back, lost in thought. “It’s unfortunate that such competitions often get entangled with personal biases and rumors. I hope the competition remains fair.”

Back at the piano room, the tension was palpable. Students crowded around, eager to witness the showdown. Bonnie and Selina faced each other, their expressions steely and determined.

Selina took her seat at the piano first, her fingers poised over the keys. She began to play, her performance flawless and technically impressive. The crowd was captivated, but there were murmurs about the outcome.

When Selina finished, there was a smattering of applause. She stood, looking confident yet wary. Bonnie stepped forward, her face calm. She sat down, took a deep breath, and began her performance.

Bonnie’s playing was not just technically perfect; it was filled with emotion and depth. Each note resonated with the audience, drawing them in. By the time she finished, there was a stunned silence, followed by enthusiastic applause.

Selina’s face was a mix of anger and disbelief. She had underestimated Bonnie’s abilities and was now facing the consequences. The judges conferred quietly, their expressions serious.

Finally, the head judge stood up, announcing, “Both performances were exceptional, but the winner, by a narrow margin, is Bonnie.”

The crowd erupted in cheers and boos, divided in their support. Selina stormed off, her face red with humiliation. Bonnie stood, acknowledging the applause with a graceful nod.

As the crowd began to disperse, Coleman watched from a distance, his expression inscrutable. He knew this was just the beginning of Bonnie’s journey at Pyralis University.

Chapter 283

Chapter 283 Completely Ignored

Yvonne suddenly had an idea. “Tell me. Do you have any good ideas?”

a

“Yeah, I also think it’s not right. But this freshman seems quite extraordinary.”

Daniel’s words piqued Coleman’s interest. “What do you mean?”

“I saw it on the forum. Just now, Selina challenged the other party but ended up defeated by just a few words. She already had the upper hand and didn’t need to compete with Selina, yet she volunteered.”

As Daniel spoke, he handed his phone to Coleman. The text was clear, detailing the whole process, with Selina completely overwhelmed.

“This girl is quite interesting,” Coleman generously praised.

“I think so too. Come on, Coleman, let’s go check it out together. The competition later might be even more interesting.” Daniel couldn’t wait to go and see.

Coleman chuckled and shook his head. “I think you just want to see how good–looking that freshman is, don’t you?”

“Hehe, you know me too well, Coleman. I’m still single, and if this freshman’s personality matches mine and she’s within my aesthetic range, I’ll pursue her.”

Coleman wasn’t one to join in the excitement easily, but he thought that he might encounter her at the school since today was the first day of school.

Before long, they arrived at the venue of the competition, the music hall.

At first glance, Coleman saw Bonnie on the stage.

“Is that her?”

Daniel turned his head in confusion, “Do you know that new freshman?”

Coleman nodded, his eyes fixed on the beautiful figure on stage without blinking.

“Coleman, your expression… Do you like her?” Daniel sniffed at Coleman.

Coleman’s face instantly turned red, his eyes flickering. “Wha–what are you talking

about?”

“Come on, don’t deny it. Your face is all red, and you’re stuttering. You weren’t like this before! Come on, we’re brothers!” Daniel draped his arm over Coleman’s shoulder.

“It’s not like that.”

“Is that so? Since you said it’s not, then I’m relieved.”

“Relieved? About what?” Coleman was a bit puzzled.

“Relieved so I can pursue her! Didn’t I say earlier that this freshman’s personality suits. me, and now that I see she’s so beautiful, of course, I’m going to pursue her.”

Coleman’s pupils dilated instantly, and after two seconds of silence, he spoke, “I advise. you to give up on that idea as soon as possible.”

Daniel chuckled. “What’s wrong? Feeling jealous? If you like her, just admit it. I won’t compete with you.”

“That’s not the reason. It’s just that you’re not worthy of her,” Coleman said seriously.

Daniel paused for a moment before jumping up. “Damn! You look down on me. You know my family background, and besides, my achievements are outstanding. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be in the position of vice president. Look at my appearance. I could even enter the entertainment industry. And yet, you say I’m not good enough for her.”

“You’ll find out soon enough.” Coleman didn’t explain further, shifting his gaze away from Daniel and back to Bonnie.

On stage, Selina lightly tapped the piano keys and turned to Bonnie. “Will you go first, or should I?”

“It doesn’t matter,” Bonnie said indifferently.

“Then, you go first.’I’m afraid that after I finish playing, you’ll feel embarrassed and won’t want to play anymore.”

Chapter 284

If that happened, she wouldn’t witness Bonnie making a fool of herself.

“Sure.” Bonnie approached the piano and sat down, her slender fingers gently landing

on the keys.

She closed her eyes and slowly opened them, raising her hands gracefully before swiftly striking the piano keys. Sometimes fast as lightning, occasionally slow and lyrical, the sound of the piano echoed in the hearts of everyone present.

In just a few breaths, everyone in the room was completely immersed in Bonnie’s piano performance.

They heard the thunder and lightning of a stormy day, the sound of raindrops, the sound of water dripping from the eaves, the sound of the lake’s surface. Various sounds constantly formed images in their minds.

With a dong, all the sounds abruptly stopped, followed by the image of birds chirping after the rain. A rainbow appeared, white clouds drifting in the blue sky.

The lingering sound filled the room as the piece ended, leaving a lasting impression.

The hall was so quiet that you could almost hear a pin drop.

Selina’s mouth hung open, unable to close it for a while, clearly astonished by Bonnie’s piano skills.

Daniel dryly swallowed saliva, then turned to Coleman beside him, “Geez! Why does it feel like her piano skills are even better than yours?”

Daniel finally understood what Coleman had said earlier. He wasn’t a match for Bonnie.

“It is.” Coleman’s smile was as warm, his gaze never leaving Bonnie throughout.

Suddenly, Daniel remembered something, and he stared at Coleman with widened eyes. I remember you once said that among your peers, you wouldn’t acknowledge anyone except for one person in terms of piano.

“Not only you but your juniors acknowledged the person as worthy of inheriting the Pyralian Pianists Association’s president position. That person can’t be Bonnie, right?!”

Coleman nodded.

Daniel was shocked to the core by receiving this affirmative answer, and then he gasped,

looking at Selina with an expression full of sympathy.

“This campus belle kicked the iron board today. If she knew she had challenged the future president of the Pyralian Pianists Association, I wonder how she would feel.”

Impressive!

Bonnie was incredibly impressive!

Avril was now a full–fledged fan of Bonnie, a legendary figure who was also a genius pianist. Bonnie was truly amazing.

Trina was completely dumbfounded, feeling utterly embarrassed.

With Bonnie’s performance like this, no one would say she was worthless.

It turned out everything Bonnie said before was true. Vera wanted to enroll her, but she said only the president of the Pyralian Pianists Association could give her guidance, and no one else had the qualifications.

‘Damn it! Damn it!‘ Trina clenched her fists tightly, her nails almost embedding into her palms.

She didn’t understand why Bonnie had it all. A lowlife like Bonnie should be crushed

under her feet.

Bonnie turned to the stunned Selina. “Now that I’m done, it’s your turn.”

At these words, Selina’s pupils suddenly dilated.

She didn’t dare to go up, didn’t dare to perform. The difference in skill level was too great. If she went up to perform, she would undoubtedly be a clown.

However, there was one thing she couldn’t understand.

“What piece did you play? How come I’ve never heard of it before?” With Selina’s question, Coleman realized he had never heard this piece.

Chapter 285

Everyone was bewildered. That meant that Bonnie made the piece up. That didn’t make sense because it sounded so good.

Although most of them present didn’t understand the piano, they could still recognize good music.

They didn’t think that such beautiful music could be produced by playing at random. It was not something they could do.

Bonnie replied casually, “Last night, there was a heavy rainstorm, and it sparked my inspiration, leading to the creation of the piece I just played.“”

‘What?! She composed the piece herself?! She created this just because she listened to a heavy rainstorm last night. There’s not even a draft!‘

The people present were shocked by Bonnie’s words, but at the same time, they didn’t doubt their truthfulness. They had heard the thunderous rain and the subsequent calm in Bonnie’s piano performance.

Selina stared blankly at Bonnie, unsure how to react.

“Why aren’t you going yet? Get on with it. Don’t waste my time,” Bonnie urged impatiently.

Selina bit her lower lip hard, her face growing redder by the moment.

Bonnie frowned. “Are you going to play or not?”

“I-” Selina clenched her fists tightly, unable to utter a word for a long time.

Coleman squeezed to the front just then, causing many girls to swoon.

“It’s Coleman! He’s here!”

“Wow! Coleman is as handsome and elegant as ever!”

Selina’s gaze immediately fell on Coleman, almost on the verge of tears.

She wondered if he had seen everything. She felt so embarrassed.

The most painful thing in the world was embarrassing oneself in front of the person they

liked.

“Cole

“Cole-”

Before Selina could finish speaking, Coleman’s voice interrupted her. “Bonnie, long time.

no see.”

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Bonnie turned her head and smiled upon seeing Coleman’s gentle figure among the crowd. “Yeah, long time no see.

Coleman looked at the smile on the girl’s face, feeling his heartbeat quicken involuntarily. “Do you want to grab a drink together?”

“Sure, but you’re treating,” Bonnie said as she stepped down from the stage.

“Of course, my treat, as always.” Coleman smiled warmly.

Then, the two of them left together side by side.

Selina clenched her fists tighter, nails unknowingly digging into her palms.

Trina walked out from the side, looking at Bonnie’s figure. She felt a growing sense of horror but also extremely fortunate in her heart.

She was glad that Bonnie had already been kicked out of the Shepard family, that Bonnie and the Shepard family had reached such a deadlock that there was almost no chance of reconciliation.

Coleman kept stealing glances at Bonnie, his face growing redder.

“What have you been busy with lately?”

“The usual, just doing some research.”

“Sorry I didn’t have a chance to congratulate you on your successful research recently.”

“No need to apologize. Weren’t you coincidentally overseas during the press conference, participating in a competition?”

Daniel had been secretly observing Coleman, feeling emotional. He wondered how the girls from the Pyralis University would feel, knowing that their campus heartthrob was secretly in love with Bonnie.

With a twinkle in his eye, Daniel struck up a conversation with Bonnie.

“Hey, freshman, do you have a boyfriend?”

Coleman immediately became nervous at Daniel’s question, not knowing where to put his hands.

Chapter 286

In Bonnie’s mind floated the occasional mischievous image of Ivor, almost causing her to burst into laughter.

“Boyfriend… I haven’t reached that stage with him yet.”

At the words, Daniel secretly clicked his tongue, glancing at Coleman and catching a glimpse of disappointment on his face.

“Is he handsome? Does he compare to our campus heartthrob, Coleman?”

Bonnie thought momentarily, then replied seriously, “They’re not the same type.”

The answer was obvious. The one pursuing Bonnie wasn’t lacking in looks.

At that moment, the school bell rang.

Simultaneously, Bonnie’s phone also rang, displaying Orpheus’s name.

“I’m outside your school gate. Are you coming out?”

“You’re punctual,” Bonnie teased.

“Of course, please call me the Punctuality King.”

After hanging up, Bonnie looked at Coleman and Daniel. “My friend’s here to pick me up, so I’ll be leaving.“.

“Okay,” Coleman replied, somewhat disappointed. He had wanted to invite Bonnie to

dinner and hang out.

Daniel watched Bonnie’s departing figure and put his arm around Coleman’s, shoulder.

“Do you think the person coming to pick up Bonnie is the one chasing her?”

“How would I know?”

“Then why stand around? Let’s go and see!”

Coleman hesitated. “Isn’t that a bit inappropriate?”

“What’s inappropriate about it? We’re leaving school anyway, and we just happen to see Bonnie’s boyfriend coming to pick her up. Everything’s just perfect. Let’s go.”

So, persuaded by Daniel, Coleman headed toward the school gate.

Soon enough, they spotted the car coming to pick up Bonnie, a Mercedes Benz that was quite common.

The window rolled down, revealing a man wearing sunglasses in the driver’s seat. His full appearance couldn’t be discerned, but from what was visible, he was undoubtedly

handsome.

“Not only is he handsome, but his aura is also exceptional!” Daniel gave high praise.

Coleman nodded in agreement. “He’s no ordinary person.”

Orpheus’s gaze bypassed Bonnie and landed on Coleman. “Is he the one you mentioned before, the one you’re engaged to?”

“No, he’s not.”

“He is, and I think he’s quite something.”

Bonnie rolled her eyes at Orpheus. “My lifelong happiness doesn’t need your concern. You better worry about yourself. You’re almost forty and still don’t have a girlfriend.”

“Hey hey hey! What kind of talk is that? What do you mean by almost forty? I’m only thirty–five and still a handsome guy, you know? Do you know how many fans I have? How many beautiful women call me their husband?”

A black Maybach pulled up at the school’s entrance as the Benz drove away.

Floyd looked at the Benz ahead and frowned. “Boss, Ms. Bonnie got into that car ahead.

Should we follow?”

“Yes.” The word came out between Ivor’s lips with a hint of coldness.

Before long, Bonnie and Orpheus arrived at the entrance of a bar,

Due to Orpheus’s special status, they chose a secluded corner with dim–lighting.

“Try this wine. It’s the one I stored here two months ago, and I went to great lengths to get it. I’ve been waiting for you to drink it with me.” Orpheus poured a glass for Bonnie.

Instead of approaching, Ivor chose a nearby corner, silently observing.

The lighting on Bonnie’s side was dim, making it hard to see the man’s face. However, his silhouette looked very handsome, sparking a sense of crisis in Ivor.

“Here, have a taste.” Orpheus handed the poured wine to Bonnie. Carelessly, Bonnie didn’t hold it firmly, and the wine spilled on her leg.

Chapter 287

“Oops, sorry, slippery hands.” Orpheus quickly pulled out a few tissues and reached for Bonnie’s leg.

In Ivor’s view, this man was taking advantage, obviously seeking trouble.

Ivor rushed over, without a word, grabbed Orpheus’s shirt, and delivered a punch to his face.

“Ow!” Orpheus let out a miserable scream as he fell onto the couch.

“What are you doing?!” Bonnie hurriedly rushed to Orpheus’s side, afraid Ivor would continue to beat him up.

Ivor’s face was filled with anger. “He was trying to take advantage of you!”

“Never in my wildest dream! I was just handing her tissues, okay? Ouch, my face hurts. like hell.” Orpheus groaned, clutching his face.

Ivor paused for a moment. That voice sounded familiar.

Orpheus also paused, realizing that the guy’s voice sounded familiar.

Then, almost simultaneously, they looked at each other.

“Uncle Orpheus?”

“Ivor!”

Bonnie was also stunned, her gaze shifting between Ivor and Orpheus.

Surprisingly, she hadn’t noticed before, but now that the two men were side by side, they did look somewhat alike.

“How do you know my Uncle Orpheus?”

“How do you know my nephew?”

These two sentences were almost said at the same time by Ivor and Orpheus.

After a brief silence, Ivor unceremoniously put his arm around Bonnie’s waist. “Let’s sit down first.”

Bonnie, speechless, glared at him and tried to grab Ivor’s arm but hesitated.

Ivor smiled at Bonnie. “Come on, have a seat.”

Orpheus stared wide–eyed at Bonnie and Ivor, suddenly realizing something.

“Oh my God! Is this for real? Bonwick, so you’re the one engaged to my nephew!”

Bonnie was also quite surprised. “I didn’t expect you to be Ivor’s uncle. Why don’t you have the same last name?”

“He takes his grandmother’s surname,” Ivor replied.

“Well, that’s a misunderstanding!” Orpheus touched his swollen face, glaring at Ivor. ” Ivor, hitting your uncle is outrageous! I’m a big star; I rely on my face for a living, and you, you little brat, let me hit you back. Otherwise, I couldn’t let go of this anger!”

Ivor held the beauty in his arms, feeling good, with a smile.

“Id

“I don’t mind you hitting me, but Bonnie might. After all, she has to look at me every day.

Bonnie and Orpheus fell silent.

“Let’s just drink.” Orpheus poured Bonnie another glass of wine. “Bonwick, here.”

Ivor raised an eyebrow. “She’s my fiancée. Calling her Bonwick seems inappropriate, don’t you think?”

“What’s inappropriate about it? I heard Bonwick is your mom’s junior. Anyway, you’re a generation younger,” Orpheus retorted.

Now, it was Ivor’s turn to be puzzled.

Bonnie remembered her promise to Avril last time. “Orpheus, there’s something I need your help with.”

“Don’t be so formal. You’re my brother. We’re like family,” Orpheus said, habitually putting his arm around Bonnie’s shoulder. “Just tell me what you need.”

Ivor couldn’t bear it anymore. “Uncle Orpheus, she’s your future niece–in–law. Isn’t this a bit inappropriate?”

Chapter 288

“Hey! How come I didn’t notice before? You’re quite the jealous type when it comes to love, huh? Ivor, what’s wrong with giving a hug? Are you afraid I’ll run off with your wife? Speaking of which, I knew Bonwick first, many years ago. If I had any intentions, Bonwick would have been my wife ages ago!”

Listening to Orpheus’s words, Ivor couldn’t help but feel relieved. Thankfully, his uncle didn’t have eyes for Bonwick. Otherwise, with his uncle’s looks and talent, Bonwick might have ended up as his aunt.

Just thinking about it gave him a headache.

“All right, let’s not argue with him. He’s always jealous of everyone.” Bonnie couldn’t be bothered with Ivor and continued speaking to Orpheus, “I have a friend. She’s from the Smith family, and both the Smiths and the Mosses are fighting over you, the big celebrity, for endorsements.”

“I know about that. So, you want me to endorse for the Smiths?”

‘Yeah, the Moss are a bunch of jerks, and their company culture sucks.”

“OK, whatever you say, Bonwick.”

Early the next morning, Bonnie received a call from Avril.

“Bonnie, my parents want me to thank you. Thanks to you, we successfully signed

Orpheus.”

“No need to thank me. We’re good friends. Besides, your parents are like my godparents

now.

“Exactly, so I won’t bother with formalities. The Mosses must be furious right now. They probably never expected all this to happen because of you.”

While the two were chatting, Bonnie’s phone received a push notification from Twitter’s hot topics.

Orpheus was spotted dating at a bar.

There were photos attached, blurry but still showing Orpheus’s face, and sitting across

from him was herself.

She had been photographed last night.

It wasn’t just trending. It was the top headline. Orpheus was dating a beautiful woman at the bar, and shockingly, she was seen getting cozy with another man right in front of Orpheus.

There were more photos.

There was a photo of Ivor with his arm around Bonnie’s waist and another of Orpheus with his arm around her.

The comments section exploded.

“Damn! That’s shocking! Is this a case of one woman with two men?”

“Although the other guy’s face isn’t very clear, it’s a super handsome dude, and this woman is getting all the luck. Who is she? How lucky can she get?”

“Luck, my ass! She’s just shameless, isn’t she?”

Trina also saw this headline, and with just one glance, she could tell that the woman in the photo was none other than Bonnie.

“I never expected Bonnie to know the movie star Orpheus, and they seem to be on such good terms.”

It was time to stir the pot.

Trina smirked, revealing a sinister grin.

She left

a comment with her alternate account.

“I recognize her. Isn’t this the trash kicked out by the Shepard family not long ago?”

Once this comment was posted, the comments section became even more lively.

“So, she’s the countryside girl kicked out by her family? I heard she became a sugar baby for an older man and wrecked a family. That’s why she got kicked out by her family.”

“Is she that shameless? After being an older man’s mistress, she’s still trying to seduce my idol and that handsome guy. She probably deceived them, too.”

“Let’s all attack her! Who has the skills to track her down and give her a good lesson, let her know she’s stirring up public outrage.”

“Trash! Idiot! Fuck her!”

“Damn it! How dare they insult Bonwick? Simon, quickly, sue everyone who insulted

Bonwick.”

Simon was shocked. “Everyone? Orpheus, how many people are insulting her right now?” “Sue them all!” Orpheus was furious.

Chapter 289

Simon extended five fingers. “From what I’ve seen, there are at least five hundred thousand.”

Orpheus was stunned. “That many?”

“That’s just what I saw. Not to mention your huge fan base, Orpheus,” Simon quipped.

“Even so, I can’t let Bonwick be mistreated. No, I need to contact my nephew,” Orpheus. said, immediately messaging Ivor.

However, the one who answered the phone wasn’t Ivor. It was Floyd.

“Mr. Orpheus, do you have something to tell Mr. Ivor?”

“Get him on the line,” Orpheus said.

Floyd glanced at the closed door of the conference room and continued, “Mr. Ivor is in a very important meeting.”

“What’s more important than my future niece–in–law?”

When it came to Bonnie, Floyd couldn’t afford to be careless. “Did something happen to Ms. Bonnie?”

“Your future boss is about to be bombarded with insults, and some even want to dox her. Check Twitter for details.”

Upon hearing this, Floyd didn’t dare delay momentarily and immediately opened Twitter.

After reading it, without another word, he rushed into the conference room.

Seeing Ivor’s darkening expression, Floyd feared getting scolded, so he spoke up immediately.

“Ms. Bonnie is in trouble.”

Ivor stood up abruptly.

Floyd handed the phone to Ivor to let him see for himself.

“Sue them,” Ivor said coldly.

“That’s almost a million people,” Floyd said.

“Can’t you understand what I’m saying?” wor’s ky demeanor seemed to emanate fron the depths of hell.

“Yes, sir,” Ployd didn’t dare delay ang kager and tommediately set to work on the task

Back in the Shepard family, Gresham and Vera also learned of this explow new.

“Thank goodness we kicked Bonnie out early, Didn’t I tell you? bven if she’s done doctor, she can’t redeem her vile behavior,” Vera said with relied

Gresham nodded in agreement. “This girl will get her comeuppance sooner or later Let’s just wait and see ”

In less than an hour, all those who had cursed Bonnie just moments ago renatived legal letters without exception.

They were all demanded to apologize to Bonnie or else face lawsuits.

This incident immediately became a hot topic, even overshadowing the previous one

Those who relied on the anonymity of the internet to spout nonsense and eade responsibility were all dumbfounded.

Before, they were used to freely hurling insults without consequences, at most recenting some counterattacks, which they weren’t afraid of. They would just throw more insults

back.

They were being sued, and it was stated that the law doesn’t spare the masses. Over a million people were sued in total.

In this state of nervousness and anxiety, the headmaster of the Pyralia University released another bombshell on Twitter.

“Bonnie is the top scorer in this year’s Pyralis University entrance exam, with: outstanding achievements, exceptional talent, and impeccable character. We won’t tolerate any insults toward her.”

“What’s happening? Who’s the headmaster of Pyralis University? Isn’t he a known educator in Pyralis? Why is he speaking up for a student?”

“Initially, I was on the fence about this. Now that the principal has spoken, Bonnie must be a good student. The photo was taken out of context.

“Fortunately, I didn’t participate in the slander.”

CHAPTER 290

Trina couldn’t understand how the prestigious headmaster of Pyralis University could speak up for a student.

Ding! Another notification popped up on Twitter.

Bonita Research Institute tweeted, “Resist all malicious attacks in online comments, reject online violence, and practice civilized internet behavior.”

“Oh my goodness! Bonita Research Institute has also spoken up. Although they didn’t name names, anyone with half a brain can tell who they’re referring to.”

“So, does this mean Bonnie was wronged?”

All the members of the Shepard family, who were eagerly anticipating Bonnie’s downfall, were shocked. They thought Bonnie would be in big trouble, proving their decision to kick her out was right. Even if Bonnie had the identity of a divine doctor, they had yet to

make a mistake.

Even the Pyralis University’s principal and Bonita Research Institute headmaster had come forward to speak up for Bonnie. It made them feel uneasy, but they were unwilling to admit that their decision was wrong no matter what.

Even if Bonnie escaped this disaster, she would inevitably reap what she sowed in the future.

Orpheus was amazed. “My nephew is amazing! He’s suing a million people!”

Simon was also stunned. Originally, fifty thousand people seemed like an incredibly daunting task. Yet, Orpheus’s nephew was so ruthless and decisive. It was no wonder he would succeed the Knight Group and lead the entire family to new glory.

He was impressive.

The last group of people quickly apologized to Bonnie, while the other group remained

bold.

“If you have the guts, sue us! Who’s afraid of whom?! We’re just stating the facts. Bonnie is just a promiscuous woman.

“The person in the photo is either flirting with this person or that person. Did they photoshop it?”

“The reason the Shepard family kicked her out is not without reason. Otherwise, which parent would have the heart to kick out their daughter? It must be because Bonnie’s character was too vile, and her parents couldn’t stand it.”

Trina was very satisfied and continued to post with her alt account.

“According to reliable sources, the person with their arm around Bonnie’s waist is a big

shot.”

After this statement, the netizens were all shocked, and various derogatory comments poured out.

Orpheus couldn’t bear it any longer and stood up.

“Stop talking nonsense, everyone. That man is my nephew, and Bonnie is my future niece -in–law. If anyone else dares to talk nonsense, don’t blame me for sending you a lawyer’s letter.”

The netizens were stunned again. That unidentified man wasn’t a big shot but was Orpheus’s nephew. That meant that it was all a misunderstanding.

“No wonder they dare to send lawyer’s letters. So it’s all a misunderstanding?”

“Damn it! Who’s stirring up a scene here? They made me curse Bonnie several times.”

“Wait a minute! The woman in the photo is so blurry, Can’t only someone very familiar recognize her?”

Finally, some netizens realize this.

Trina, who had been browsing the internet, was scared when she saw this. She was praying that no one would link it to her.

Meanwhile, Ivor was arranging for the technical department to investigate the IP address of the account that led the way.

Soon, there was a result.

“It’s indeed Trina.” Ivor’s face was dark, his narrowed eyes filled with danger. “Floyd, handle this matter well. I want to make Trina fall into hell and never rise again.”

“Yes, boss.”

Floyd immediately got to work on the task.

Trina’s alt account’s IP address was quickly exposed online, and she was also doxxed.
