Chapter 851 - 851 – Benefitting From Karmic Luck

The five figures cloaked in black seemed to smirk when Gravis asked them what they wanted. This made Gravis even surer that they didn’t come to have a nice and decent talk. Their appearance didn’t particularly radiate trustworthiness and kindness.

"500,000 Immortal Stones for each of you," the person at the front said with mirth. "After you pay, we will leave and not trouble you again."

Gravis lifted an eyebrow. "So, you’re just bandits?" Gravis asked.

"We call ourselves freelancers, but yes, you would call us bandits," another one said.

Gravis looked at the strung-up torsos at the back. "And if I don’t pay, I will probably join them, right?"

"You’re a smart boy," the leader said. "Yes, those who don’t pay will join us on our altruistic quest. We like to take money from the rich and give it to the poor, which is us, of course."

Gravis blinked once in boredom. "Why go through all of this? Why not just kill the ones that don’t pay? You would get all their wealth that way."

"We’re not stupid, boy," the leader said with an arrogant tone. "Bad things happen to Cultivators that kill the weaker ones. As long as we don’t kill them, everything’s fine."

"What if I don’t have the money?" Gravis asked.

"You have the money," the leader said with a smirk. "500,000 Immortal Stones isn’t much for an Immortal King such as yourself. However, on the chance that you are truly so poor, you will just have to accompany us until we are finished with our altruistic quest. However, that might take a while."

This made a lot of sense now. These five people didn’t torture these other Cultivators out of cruelty but to convince them to finally pay. It was impossible to look into someone’s Spirit Space without risking a soul battle on the enemy’s home turf. Additionally, they would need to have a powerful Cultivator that knew several Laws regarding the Deep Wood Element.

If the Immortal Kings had the money but acted like they didn’t, they simply had to live like this for thousands of years or until they decided to pay. If they didn’t have the money, they couldn’t prove that they didn’t have it. After all, the bandits didn’t know what was inside the Cultivator’s Spirit Space without risking a counterattack inside the Cultivator’s Spirit Space.

"If you want, you can also buy the freedom of these poor sods behind me," the leader said as he gestured to the ten hanging torsos. "We don’t care who pays, as long as someone pays."

"Stop wasting time," another one interjected. "Maybe he already called for help and is only waiting for someone to arrive."

"Sorry," the leader said with a smirk. "Sometimes, I get lost when I talk to a customer."

Then, the leader looked at Gravis again. "So, what’s your choice? You have five seconds to decide. Otherwise, we will take it as a no."

Gravis wasn’t worried at all since it wasn’t hard to feel their Cultivation. Their cloaks hid their appearance, but they purposefully showed their aura. After all, if the enemy didn’t know the bandits’ power, they were more likely to attack. The bandits wanted to make some easy money, not fight.

The hanging torsos were either Early Minor Circulation Immortal Kings or Mid Minor Circulation Immortal Kings. Meanwhile, all five of these bandits were Late Minor Circulation Immortal Kings. No wonder that they said that they wouldn’t kill their "customers". Their customers were exclusively weaker than them with a numerical disadvantage.

Siral wasn’t very good in direct confrontations, but that was in the context of the Core Region and fighting someone on his level. Fighting someone one level below him was not an issue as long as the enemy wasn’t some incredible genius. Additionally, the Minor Circulation and Major Circulation were separated by two battle levels. Siral would have no issue in dealing with them in less than ten seconds.

"Time’s up!" the leader shouted as everyone took out their weapons. "Welcome to the party!"

After that, all five of them split up and surrounded Gravis and Siral in some kind of battle formation. Several different Elements appeared on their weapons as they readied their attacks.

And then, Gravis activated his Will-Aura, and all five of them were suppressed by over 40%.

These five bandits were only two levels above Gravis, and Gravis had the Will-Aura of a Late Major Circulation Immortal King.

And then, Gravis used his Major Law of Suppression.

The bandits felt like their bodies were surrounded by incredibly hard metal. It was so very hard to move!

They had been suppressed by 90%!

And then, Gravis activated his Law of Storm’s Pressure. The surroundings were compressed, making it far more difficult for them to move. They were now suppressed by 94%.

CRRRRR!

A Frost Domain appeared, which quickly entered their bodies. Their joints and muscles became rigid as they started to freeze over.

All five of them tried to move, but their movements were already far too slow to break the growing ice. Breaking such a kind of suppression required one to continually move their body to break the ice before too much of it gathered. However, with their slow movements, this was impossible.

In just a second, their joints and muscles were completely frozen. Of course, they were still alive since they were Immortal Kings. Something like this wasn’t enough to kill them.

"Spare us!" the leader transmitted with his Spirit in panic.

The other four also pleaded as best as they could. They offered all their belongings to Gravis. They were willing to do everything for him!

Gravis was a bit interested in that offer, but not overly much.

The Energy of their being was worth more than their wealth. Additionally, he would get their wealth anyway.

Gravis lifted a fist and opened it.

And lightning destroyed all the bandits.

The lightning quickly vanished into nothingness. Gravis retrieved their lightning into his Life Ring to hide his ability to absorb others from Siral. A second Gravis was quickly created inside Gravis’ Life Ring out of all the gathered lightning. Then, that Gravis entered Gravis’ Spirit Space and fused with the actual Gravis.

With this short move, Gravis was now close to becoming a Mid Minor Circulation Immortal King. Only a little bit was left, but Gravis wouldn’t break through now. He still needed to temper himself against Siral’s tribulation opponent.

A shower of wealth appeared as the belongings of the bandits were ejected into the world, and Gravis gathered everything up with his Spirit Space.

There were around eight million Immortal Stones in their belongings, quite a big haul. However, just as expected, their Energy was worth more.

How many Immortal Stones would Gravis need to go from an Early Minor Circulation Immortal King to a Mid Minor Circulation Immortal King?

Around 20 million.

The bandits’ bodies had given Gravis the equivalent of around 18 million Immortal Stones while also handing him eight million normal ones.

One last reason was Gravis’ own lack of Karmic Luck.

Was running into a group of five bandits two levels above one’s own Cultivation level luck?

Chapter 852 - 852 – True Form

After another week of travel, Gravis and Siral arrived in the proximity of the Nine Elements Sect. The number of mortal villages and cities became higher the closer they got. The Immortals, Immortal Kings, and Immortal Emperors probably didn’t dare to fight this close to the Nine Elements Sect, granting the mortals a relative paradise.

Fortunately, Gravis and Siral didn’t come across any Cultivation cities, thanks to the red arrow that the old man in the Life Sect’s branch had shown them. Another week later, Gravis and Siral were leaving the surroundings of the Nine Elements Sect again. They noticed this firstly because of the lower density of mortal villages and secondly because of the red arrow on the map.

They hadn’t run into anybody else in their journey.

They hadn’t even seen another Immortal or Immortal King.

Of course, something like this was obvious.

How huge was this world?

This world was so gigantic that it was incomprehensible. Gravis and Siral had already traveled for trillions of kilometers.

Even if there were a trillion Immortals in this world, there would still need to be an entire kilometer between each one of them when they stood in a single line. However, the world wasn’t a line but a huge area.

As long as one didn’t go to any gathering places for Immortals or Immortal Kings, the chances of meeting another Cultivator outside were minuscule. The size was just far too large.

Another week later, Gravis and Siral were on the halfway mark between the Nine Elements Sect and the beast territory.

On this day, Gravis and Siral stopped for the first time.

Why?

Because the red arrow had ended on around this area.

"Siral, I will continue on my own," Gravis said. "I will enter the beast territory alone. If you come along, the beasts will become suspicious and attack us. Humans and beasts are enemies in this world."

Gravis summoned all the miscellaneous things in his Spirit Space except for the materials and Immortal Stones.

Siral quickly absorbed them into his own Spirit Space.

"Sell these things, but be careful," Gravis said. "I don’t know if there are some incredibly valuable treasures among them. No one will care if you sell stuff for a couple million Immortal Stones, but if it becomes above ten million, it becomes dangerous. Some cities or Sects might decide to kill you for your wealth."

"Sell a maximum of five million Immortal Stones per area. After doing so, travel at least several hours before you sell the next things. Additionally, use your Law of Humility to appear like an Early Minor Circulation Immortal King. The less conspicuous you are, the better."

Siral nodded. "No worries, Master. I know how to sell these things without appearing suspicious. I have managed to amass enough wealth in the Sect Alliance to become a Late Minor Circulation Immortal King without any other Sect noticing."

Gravis nodded. "I don’t know how long I will be gone. It could be a couple of months, but it could also be a century or so. At the latest, I will return in two centuries. I will contact you then with the Life Ring."

"Yes, Master," Siral said respectfully.

"Go," Gravis said.

And with that, Siral teleported away.

Now, Gravis was alone again.

Gravis looked towards the southeast with narrowed eyes. ’Let’s see if this works.’

Gravis flew to the ground and passed through it like it didn’t even exist. This ability was one of the major reasons why Gravis had decided to comprehend the Law of Graphite’s Manipulation. As long as Gravis kept the Law running by using Energy, he could pass through the earth like water.

Gravis went deeper and deeper.

At around 25,000 Kilometers deep, Gravis reached the approximate depth of when he had comprehended the level three Law of Gravity. However, this time, Gravis didn’t stop there.

At 35,000 Kilometers deep, it became impossible for Nascent Nourishing Cultivators to survive. The gravity and heat were far too overwhelming.

At 50,000 kilometers deep, it became impossible for Law Comprehension Cultivators to survive.

At 75,000 kilometers deep, it became impossible for Immortals to survive.

This was as deep as Gravis could go without wasting more Energy than he could regenerate.

Wait, shouldn’t about 80,000 kilometers of depth already be impossible for an Early Minor Circulation Immortal King to survive?

So, how come that Gravis could go down to 90,000 kilometers?

The reason was the wording.

Cultivator.

Cultivators were humans, and humans didn’t have very powerful bodies. 75,000 kilometers of depth already required a Peak Immortal to counteract the forces of gravity and heat with their own Laws. If they didn’t use their Laws, they would die.

Gravis had a beast body, and on top of that, he had his black scales. One should never forget the origin of these black scales. Even now, they were still far more powerful than any body part of an Early Minor Circulation Immortal King beast had the right to be.

At this depth, no Spirit Sense in the world would be able to notice him. The resistance of the incredibly hard materials, the insane heat, and the crushing force of gravity destroyed any Spirit Sense down here.

Even Gravis couldn’t look farther than a single kilometer in this depth. The powerful forces of the world simply destroyed his Spirit Sense far too quickly.

’Beasts don’t use human tactics,’ Gravis thought. ’On top of that, beasts are very direct and like open battles. I’m certain that there are very few beasts that would want to infiltrate the human side of the world like this.’

’Additionally, even if they managed to do it, they would quickly be exterminated as soon as they showed themselves. The Peak Sects are not afraid of any singular beast invading their territory. Who cares about some random mortal villages or some minor Sects?’

’Lastly, it would waste a ridiculous amount of resources to build Formation Arrays that can detect things this far down. The humans are already using 80% of their resources on the beasts, and they can’t keep up with such an incredible expenditure.’

’However,’ Gravis thought as his eyes narrowed. ’This isn’t true for the beasts. In the past, humans have surely already tried to use this tactic to infiltrate the beast territory, and I’m certain that the beasts have a countermeasure for something like this.’

’Humans with their ingenuity have such an insane variety of skills, but beasts also have something that humans can’t have, and this something allows them to stop the very things that humans can’t stop without wasting a ridiculous amount of resources.’

’I’m already pretty sure what I will run into, but that doesn’t matter.’

’This unstoppable barrier that stops all underground infiltration from humans doesn’t exist for me.’

Gravis transformed into his beast form for the first time in this world.

His alligator head had terrifying teeth.

His six arms were muscular and had horrifying claws at their ends.

His tail was long and powerful.

Gravis looked like a terrifying monstrosity out of a child’s nightmare.

Chapter 853 - 853 – Barricade

Gravis charged through the earth towards the southeast. Down here, no human would be able to find him, but that wasn’t true for the beasts.

After around three weeks, Gravis was sure that he was close to the beast territory. He was probably close to the edge. This area would be the most dangerous since the forces of beasts and humans met each other here.

Inside the earth, Gravis saw no difference. Everything felt the same, no matter where he was.

A couple of days later, Gravis thought that he should already be inside the beast territory, but he wouldn’t come out unless he saw proof. If he came out too early, an Immortal Emperor would probably directly jump on him and kill him.

An additional day later, Gravis finally saw the thing he was waiting for.

Gravis stopped and narrowed his eyes. Just a kilometer in front of him was something that blocked his way.

"Let me through," Gravis transmitted.

What was blocking Gravis’ path?

A gigantic root!

Gravis’ Spirit Sense couldn’t reach very far so deep in the earth, which made it impossible to see how big that root was, but Gravis was sure that it was humongous.

Gravis felt a powerful sense sweeping over him.

"Password?" it asked.

Gravis scoffed. "Really? We have passwords now? I’m a beast, and I want to go to the Great Forest. Why would I need some password?" Gravis transmitted with annoyance.

The powerful sense swept over Gravis some more. "No human, even if they are of mixed descent, can have such a powerful body. You may pass."

CRRRRR!

And like that, the root shrunk until Gravis could see a path forward.

"Th- to think that I would be asked for a password. What is even going on anymore?" Gravis said coldly.

However, deep inside, panic and terror had taken hold of him.

He had nearly said thanks!

In the middle world, saying thanks would have been seen as weird. After all, beasts saw no value in such meaningless words. However, in this world, beasts knew what humans were. If Gravis had said thanks, this powerful plant would have probably realized that Gravis had been living so long among humans that their way of speaking and philosophy had influenced him. Such a being was basically already a human in a beast’s eyes.

Fortunately, Gravis had turned it around quickly enough.

The plant didn’t answer.

It was its job to protect the borders from any human that wanted to sneak in here. It only said as much as necessary while doing its job. Talking to a mere Early Circulation Immortal King was beneath it.

This blockage was exactly what Gravis had been waiting for.

How were beasts able to block something that humans weren’t able to block with their incredible ingenuity?

Gravis quickly passed through the opening, and the root behind him grew again to block the path.

Gravis passing through this blockade had appeared effortless, but he had gone through four different checks. No human would have been able to get through these.

The first check had been the question about a password.

There was no password.

Maybe they said that they haven’t been told a password.

Maybe they said that they were on a mission.

None of them would directly say that there was no password.

After all, having a password was only logical in such an important location.

This was the first test that Gravis had gone through. Any beast would just scoff at the idea of having passwords. Why would they need something like that? Something like this was just too human.

The second test had been the sense of the plant. If anyone faked a beast body, hiding from such a powerful plant would be very difficult. This plant probably also knew several Laws that allowed it to inspect the bodies of others.

If humans could create crystals that reacted to the Laws inside a beast’s blood, then why wouldn’t it also be possible for beasts to sense these Laws?

This plant probably checked if the being had these fluctuations inside their body.

The third test had been the power of Gravis’ body.

There were mixed offspring with a weak beast body but a Will-Aura and Spirit. The beasts saw these mixed offspring also as humans. Only a beast with a truly powerful body was a beast.

A mixed offspring with a beast body but with a Will-Aura and Spirit would have these Law fluctuations since they could still cultivate like beasts, but their bodies were weak. Because of that, the plant also checked the power of everyone’s body.

Gravis was at a depth of 90,000 kilometers as an Early Minor Circulation Immortal King. This meant that his body was mighty, even for a beast.

It was absolutely impossible that a beast with such a powerful body had a Will-Aura and Spirit.

The last test was a test of personality and personal philosophy. No human would think about saying thanks or not. It was just normal and came out subconsciously. They would also act towards beasts like this. After all, if they didn’t show some politeness, they might offend powerful beasts and get attacked. One always had to show politeness to their superiors.

However, politeness was very different when it came to beasts. Politeness was less about how one talked and more about how one acted in front of beasts. One could directly say anything without please or thanks in front of a powerful beast, and the powerful beast wouldn’t care as long as the other beast showed respect with their aura and posture.

After Gravis left the root behind, he went towards the surface. This root symbolized the barricade between humans and beasts, and Gravis now also knew why the root had appeared later than Gravis had expected.

Everything outside the root network was probably still part of the beast territory, but it was contested territory. Beasts and humans could meet there and fight each other, but the root network protected the truly important territories.

The forest was very thick, and there were trees everywhere Gravis looked.

Immortals always flew high up in the sky, but there were trees that were even a thousand kilometers tall. Even at the average height where a Cultivator flew, Gravis was still surrounded by trees.

Gravis landed on one of them, and it didn’t react.

Even though that tree had intelligence and could speak with Gravis, it didn’t say anything. It was like it wasn’t intelligent at all, but Gravis knew that it was.

This meant that the tree was probably used to beasts climbing on it. It was so used to it that it didn’t even react to any beast that came close to it. The trees probably also didn’t have to fear any beasts.

However, these trees had to be very old to reach their current Realm. After all, Meadow only reached the Law Comprehension Realm after 10,000 years. This meant that all of these Nascent Nourishing Realm trees had to be at least a thousand years old.

So, how was it possible that so many trees still stood there? If any Immortal beasts fought each other close to them, these trees would have been completely destroyed.

’This means that beasts probably avoid fighting near the trees,’ Gravis thought. ’There are probably either dedicated fighting areas or the beasts just fight high up in the sky.’

Gravis furrowed his brows. ’This probably means that there are some customs I am unfamiliar with.’

Gravis looked around some more and saw a massive tree with red, shining fruits growing on it. The tree wasn’t full of these fruits, but it still had a lot. This was the most powerful plant in Gravis’ vicinity, and it was the only one in the Law Comprehension Realm.

Gravis looked at the ground but saw no fruit lying on the ground. ’This means that some beasts have eaten these fruits.’

Gravis needed to learn more about his new surroundings and flew closer to the tree. "How much for a fruit?" Gravis transmitted to the tree. Asking was better than directly taking them. Beasts were more straightforward, but just taking something might not be according to their code.

The beasts in Gravis’ last world had no outside opponents. Sure, they had the sea beasts as their opponents, but that was it. Here, the beasts were under a constant threat of eradication, which might have changed their philosophy.

"You want my fruit?" the tree asked in surprise. "I can’t feel your Realm, which means you are very powerful. Why would you want my fruit?"

"I want to taste it," Gravis said.

"Sure!" the tree answered with surprised happiness. "Anything you can give to me is worth more than all my fruit."

Gravis nodded. "How much for 1,000 fruits?" Gravis asked. The tree was gigantic, and the fruits were about a meter wide each. The tree probably had tens of thousands.

"You can have 5,000 for just a single scale," the tree said nervously.

This black beast was an Immortal, at least! It had the chance of getting a scale from an Immortal for simply some of its fruits?

Was this even real?

Was it dreaming?

Gravis scratched his chin. ’Just as I’ve thought. The beasts are probably exchanging parts of their own body for fruit. Beasts could regrow their lost body parts, and trees could regrow their fruits, but both things are useful for the other one.’

"Fine," Gravis said as a small scale separated from his body. Gravis used his hands to do this since he didn’t want to show his Spirit.

As soon as Gravis let go of the scale, it lost its connection to his body and regained its full weight. On top of that, the scale was incredibly compressed since Gravis wasn’t in his true size.

This was an incredibly hard scale, which would be hundreds of kilometers wide in its full size.

One could imagine its insane weight.

The scale punched through the ground until it was buried deep in the ground. Over the next years, this scale would release its Energy into the surrounding earth, making the earth far richer than before. On top of that, some tiny Law fluctuations from the Laws that the beast knew would appear, which would help the plants to comprehend more Laws.

However, Gravis’ mind quickly ignored the taste as he noticed something much more important.

The fruit broke down as soon as it reached Gravis’ stomach, and when that happened, its Laws briefly appeared.

’Level one Petal Composition Law,’ Gravis concluded. ’So, eating these fruits can help with comprehending specific Laws.’

Gravis ate a second one and noticed that the same Law was being shown, but different parts of it. One fruit didn’t show the entire Law. In fact, it didn’t even show 0.1%.

Additionally, Gravis didn’t absorb these Laws. They only appeared in his stomach and disappeared. This meant that he could only look at it.

However, this was still incredible. Understanding Laws with this method was far easier than just looking at some plants.

’Is this how the beasts deal with their limited space?’ Gravis thought as he scratched his chin. ’Law Comprehension Areas require a lot of space, which can only be dedicated to them.’

’So, is it possible that some trees are specifically planted in these areas to create fruits that help in the comprehension of these Laws?’ Gravis thought. ’If, for example, a tree is placed in a Law Comprehension Area for Punishment Lightning, would it be possible for that tree to eventually produce fruits that demonstrate the Law of Punishment Lightning?’

’The beasts would then only need to go to these areas to exchange for a ton of these fruits. By eating them, it might even be more efficient for Law Comprehension than staying in the Law Comprehension Area.’

After around half an hour, Gravis finally saw another beast.

It was a Nascent Nourishing green bird with a wind affinity.

When Gravis saw it, he immediately changed directions and teleported over to it.

Gravis appeared in front of the bird, and the bird felt its feathers standing up.

Why did this powerful beast come to it?

"Where is the next Immortal?" Gravis asked directly.

’Territories, huh?’ Gravis thought as his brows furrowed. ’So, the Immortals are actually not deeper in the Great Forest but are rulers of territories. There is probably a hierarchy of more and more powerful beasts that are subject to even more powerful beasts.’

Gravis nodded and teleported away again, leaving behind the shocked bird.

Gravis flew for a couple of minutes until he saw a small pangolin resting on top of an ore vein. Gravis had expected the Sand Immortal to be a beast with an earth affinity, but this beast obviously had a metal affinity. A beast with an earth affinity wouldn’t cultivate near some metal ore.

Gravis appeared in front of the Sand Immortal, and the Sand Immortal immediately stood up when it saw Gravis stop in front of it.

It was an Early Major Circulation Immortal and was quite powerful in these parts, but it couldn’t even feel the power of this newcomer.

However, the Sand Immortal wasn’t fearful or nervous in front of Gravis.

’Black Demon, huh?’ Gravis thought. ’Liran had said something similar back then. The Black Magnate said that there are several beasts that look similar to me. After all, I couldn’t possibly be the only one that can see the use of having such a body. I guess that beasts that look similar to me are called Black Demons.’

Gravis gestured for the Sand Immortal to continue. The Sand Immortal was a bit confused that Gravis wanted the Sand Immortal to say more about something so obvious, but it had to follow the orders of more powerful beasts.

"Black Demons live for combat," the Sand Immortal said. "The body of a Black Demon is made to be as effective during battle as possible, which shows that they are willing to forsake their old bodies for more power."

"Black Demons pride themselves in fighting levels above themselves, and they don’t care about killing the obviously weaker ones. You are not in your territory, which means that you are searching for tempering," the Sand Immortal said.

Gravis nodded. "Correct," he said. "I am searching for an Early Major Circulation Immortal King," Gravis said.

This surprised the Sand Immortal. It had expected that Gravis was a Peak Immortal or Early Minor Circulation Immortal King. However, this Black Demon was searching for an Early Major Circulation Immortal King? This Black Demon was more powerful than it had thought.

"I am subject to the Core Ground Immortal King," the Sand Immortal said. "The Core Ground Immortal King is a Mid Minor Circulation Immortal King. I don’t know where you can find an Early Major Circulation Immortal King, but my Lord might know."

This was a Black Demon, and Black Demons loved fighting above their levels.

"Do you wish to fight?" the Core Ground Immortal King asked as he rose from his lying position.

"You are too weak," Gravis said directly, surprising the Core Ground Immortal King. "I have already killed several beings four levels above me, and you don’t pose a challenge."

The Core Ground Immortal King felt a bit insulted that Gravis didn’t see him as a danger, but he was also fine with it. Beasts generally didn’t lie, which meant that chances were high that this Black Demon was incredibly powerful. Taking offense and attacking Gravis would be stupid in the Core Ground Immortal King’s mind.

"My Lord is an Early Major Circulation Immortal King," the Core Ground Immortal King said. "Do you wish to fight him?"

Gravis’ eyes shone. Finally, a perfect opponent!

"Yes. Where is he?" Gravis asked.

"My Lord is called the Spear Mountain, and he is in this direction," the Core Ground Immortal King said as he pulled Gravis’ senses to a certain direction.

Gravis looked back at the Core Ground Immortal King, nodded, and left.

For humans, such an interaction was unthinkable.

Why would an officer directly tell an enemy where to find their general? For humans, such an act would be seen as a grave betrayal.

Yet, among beasts, something like this was normal. Their Lords were their Lords because they were powerful. So what if another beast killed their Lord? That only meant that their new Lord would be even more powerful than their old one. Even if the new Lord didn’t care about having an Empire below them, a new Lord would simply come to claim the unclaimed territory.

In the middle world, beasts were loyal to their empires.

"You will be my tempering," Gravis said directly and coldly.

Gravis moved one of his arms to one of his scales on the side of his body and tore that scale off. Then, Gravis put his claws into the wound and pulled out several small metal needles.

After doing this, Gravis shrunk down to his usual size.

The metal things that had seemed like small metal needles previously now seemed much bigger after Gravis shrunk.

SHING! SHING!

These small metal needles had been Gravis’ sabers and spears.

As soon as Gravis had arrived in the territory of the beasts, he had realized that he couldn’t just summon his weapon. After all, beasts didn’t have a Spirit Space. Because of that, Gravis had grown bigger and had put his weapons below a scale. Like this, it would appear like Gravis was carrying his weapons on his body.

Gravis’ upper pair of arms held two spears. His middle pair of arms held one saber, and his lower pair also had a saber. Against a beast, Gravis needed to put as much power behind his weapons as possible. Using them with one hand would not be effective.

The tortoise watched Gravis’ performance and looked at him coldly.

"Why talk?" Spear Mountain asked. "If you want to fight, fight."

Gravis found it ironic that someone else was saying these words to him. Normally, Gravis was the one that said these words.

"I am informing you because I don’t want you to underestimate me," Gravis said. "I have fought several beings four levels above me before, and nearly all of them always underestimated me."

This was the memory of Gravis’ first fight.

Back in the practical exams, Gravis’ first opponent had also been a tortoise, and it had been similarly big as Spear Mountain.

Spear Mountain didn’t want his ore rock to be damaged, which was why he had decided to bury the ore rock in the earth. This meant that Spear Mountain had the Growth Laws of the Body as his Avatar. This meant that this was Spear Mountains greatest power. Additionally, having these Laws as one’s Avatar was a great choice.

As soon as Spear Mountain comprehended the other Growth Laws, he could easily upgrade his Avatar to the level five Law of Body Growth. At that point, as long as he didn’t die in one attack, he would be able to regenerate every wound.

However, even now, his regeneration was terrifying. Gravis’ most efficient and effective method of healing was the Brilliance Element with the Laws of Brilliance’s Healing and Efficiency. Sadly, these two Laws only raised the healing capabilities of his Brilliance to a power of about a level 4.5 Law. It was stronger than a normal level four Law but weaker than a level five Law.

This meant that Gravis was fighting someone with greater regenerative power than himself, which was rare. Gravis had always prided himself in his healing capabilities.

This meant that Spear Mountain’s Avatar was somewhere inside his body, but was that even possible? Gravis had never seen anyone that had their Avatar inside their body. The Avatars had always only been on the outside or in weapons. Was it possible to also put these Avatars inside one’s body, or was Spear Mountain simply storing his Avatar in some empty space in his body?

Gravis wasn’t sure, but he decided to experiment a bit after the fight. Right now was not the time.

Spear Mountain slowly stood up as he glared at Gravis.

The atmosphere changed from cold desolation to a burning bloodlust.

Gravis readied his weapons.

What had happened?

Gravis had already infused his weapons with souls for any attack he wanted to unleash, and these living weapons had entered the mouth of Spear Mountain. These weapons immediately started going crazy in its mouth, stabbing everywhere. Yet, they were quickly crushed into nothingness by Spear Mountain’s crunching. He destroyed such powerful weapons like they were twigs.

Of course, Gravis wouldn’t let such an opportunity slide. White light was already shining on the left half of his body to regenerate him, but at the same time, Gravis was slashing forward with his Frost-infused spear.

The spear hit Spear Mountain’s shell, but Spear Mountain angled his body so that the spear slipped off, leaving behind a shallow, frozen cut on the shell.

But that was when Gravis’ saber hit the same spot. Slight cracks appeared on the shell, but Spear Mountain was not injured by this attack.

The soul was the weakness of beasts. After all, they didn’t have powerful Spirits.

The Deep Wood Element hit Spear Mountain’s soul, tearing at him as he felt incredible pain.

These spears were so fast that Gravis couldn’t even evade them, and in an instant, Gravis had been pierced at several places. At the same time, the spears were growing longer and wider, pushing Gravis deeper into the earth.

Then, all his limbs vanished into his body as his belly became as round as his shell.

Then, he began spinning at incredible speeds. The spears that had stabbed into Gravis left behind crevices as they left Gravis’ body. Meanwhile, due to the rotation, new spears cut through him.

WHOOOOOOOOOM!

Suddenly, a gigantic storm appeared that threw Spear Mountain into the sky, away from Gravis. Gravis had used the Laws of Storm’s Power, Storm’s Efficiency, and Storm’s Mass to create a violent explosion of wind. This attack was not meant to injure Spear Mountain but to push him away from Gravis.

Gravis quickly used one of his intact arms to throw himself out of the new crater.

Gravis’ body was ravaged beyond belief. Gigantic crevices cut through the front side of his body, and even several organs had been sliced apart. The tips of Spear Mountain’s spears were colored red by Gravis’ blood.

More white light appeared as Gravis intensified his healing.

Two intense healings and two brutal attacks with the Element of Deep Wood.

Gravis had already used nearly 50% of his Energy reserves, but Spear Mountain could still fight with his full power.

Spear Mountain was currently hundreds of kilometers in the sky. Gravis’ attack with the Storm Element had pushed him incredibly far away.

Gravis pointed with his fingers at Spear Mountain.

WHHHOOOOOM!

Gravis’ Law of Graphite’s Gravity was activated with as much power as Gravis could muster. In an instant, Spear Mountain stopped accelerating into the sky and began to be pulled towards the earth.

The power of the Law of Graphite’s Gravity was insane, and the longer it could work on someone, the better. In less than a second, Spear Mountain became even faster than when he had been shot into the sky.

However, he remained inside his shell. It was impossible to evade such an attack. His body had already become far too fast.

Additionally, Gravis couldn’t possibly attack him in such a state. The sheer force of Spear Mountain’s momentum would tear Gravis’ body apart if he touched him. Lastly, the ground was hard, but not so hard that it could even shake Spear Mountain’s body. It wouldn’t be different than landing on snow.

Spear Mountain’s body became insanely fast under the power of Gravis’ Laws and hit the ground in an instant.

BOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A gigantic crater, over a hundred kilometers wide, was created as a storm of dust was thrown towards the horizon, blanketing the world in a grey mist of sand and earth.

BANG!

Gravis charged forward towards the location where Spear Mountain had landed. The surroundings were still in turmoil due to the impact, making Gravis’ Spirit Sense useless. Additionally, he could barely see anything in this storm of dirt.

When Gravis felt that he was close to Spear Mountain’s location, he activated a smaller version of his Storm attack.

WHOOOSH!

The cloud of dust and earth vanished as Gravis’ Element of Storm cleared the surroundings. He had to see Spear Mountain for his attack.

CRRRRRR!

However, Gravis immediately exploded to the side with his lightning acceleration because Spear Mountain was rolling towards him like a spiked ball. The spears that came out of his body were like a grinder, and if Gravis got hit even once, he would be shredded.

As Gravis evaded, he saw a crack on Spear Mountain’s body regenerating with insane speeds, and in an instant, it was completely gone.

However, this crack hadn’t been simple.

One had to remember that Gravis hadn’t arrived instantaneously at this location. The fact that the crack was still healing at this point demonstrated how devastating it had been previously. After all, one shouldn’t forget Spear Mountain’s insane regenerative powers.

Why?

What had happened?

Well, Gravis had used his Law of Graphite’s Gravity to pull Spear Mountain to a specific location.

Which location?

His ore rock!

The ore rock was insanely hard, and when Spear Mountain hit it with such force, his entire shell had probably cracked apart. Gravis quickly scanned the area and saw a ton of bloody pieces lying at the center of the crater, all surrounding a bloody rock with entrails sprawled all over it.

Spear Mountain’s body was fully regenerated now, but it had cost him a ton of Life Energy. Gravis couldn’t fully rely on his soul attacks. After all, he had no idea how resilient Spear Mountain’s soul was.

Spear Mountain immediately turned around and shot at Gravis again.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

However, before he even came close to Gravis, several spears exploded off him and shot at Gravis.

Chapter 858 - 858 – Using Everything

SHING! SHING!

Two of the spears hit Gravis’ torso, but no vital areas were hit. However, these spears were not meant to kill Gravis but to stop him from evading due to their impact.

BANG!

Lightning exploded on Gravis’ right foot, and his body slightly leaned towards the left in an attempt to dodge. Spear Mountain noticed this and slightly changed his angle.

However, instead of evading, Gravis simply let himself fall to the ground. His upper body violently changed its rotation as he now lay with his head towards the right. Gravis hadn’t used his lightning to rotate his body counter-clockwise to evade but rotated it clockwise. It was like using one’s right foot to jump to the left while moving one’s upper body to the right. This resulted in someone falling with their head pointed to the right.

SHING! SHING! SHING!

Spear Mountain rolled over Gravis’ body, but his spears didn’t touch Gravis’ head. Protecting the head was the most important thing in a fight. This was where the Spirit resided, and without it, one would immediately die.

Gravis’ body was impaled by the spears, and his body was pulled along the rolling ball.

BZZZ!

A bit of lightning appeared, but nothing happened. At the same time, Gravis extended his spear away from Spear Mountain’s body.

BANG!

Suddenly, all the spears on Spear Mountain’s body exploded in size, but Gravis had already vanished. If he hadn’t, his entire body would have been scattered into the surroundings.

How had Gravis escaped?

He had extended his spear away from Spear Mountain to create a shadow. Then, he used his Law of Shadow Movement to move towards his spear’s shadow. One of the expanding spears hit him on the side, but the impact wasn’t very powerful.

There was still no weakness in Spear Mountain’s body, and Gravis was certain now that Spear Mountain knew more Body Growth Laws than just the Growth Law for skin. He might not know the level five Law of Body Growth, but he was probably close to comprehending it.

Spear Mountain’s regenerative powers were insane.

Additionally, Spear Mountain’s judgment was still swift and decisive, which meant that his soul was nowhere near the breaking point.

By now, Gravis only had 20% of his Energy remaining. He was running low!

Spear Mountain turned around and rolled towards Gravis again.

SHING! SHING! SHING!

Several spears shot at Gravis again, but this time, Gravis reacted differently.

CRRRR!

Gravis’ body became huge in an instant, and the spears only punched through his leg. The compression of Gravis’ body was no longer as powerful due to his size increase, which meant that the spears cleanly shot through his leg without even being stopped, leaving behind gigantic holes due to their force.

SHING!

Gravis’ huge hand hit the top of Spear Mountain, and Gravis pushed himself up. Gravis’ hand was mutilated, but he managed to evade the roll by pushing himself over it.

Spear Mountain had not been prepared for this move, which was why he hadn’t been able to react appropriately, but this wouldn’t happen a second time. Spear Mountain increased his size until he was slightly bigger than Gravis, and if Gravis decided to enlarge or shrink himself, Spear Mountain would immediately follow suit. This technique only worked once.

Gravis became small again, and Spear Mountain immediately followed. He was charging at Gravis again.

He came closer and closer, and Gravis didn’t evade. At this point, it was impossible to avoid Spear Mountain.

Gravis lifted one free hand and snapped his fingers.

All the spears on Spear Mountain’s body suddenly fell off!

Back when Gravis had been impaled as Spear Mountain rolled over him, he had used his lightning to carve Formation Arrays into Spear Mountain’s body. Spear Mountain’s body was currently entirely made out of metal, and Gravis was very good at carving Formation Arrays into metal.

The Formation Array he had carved into Spear Mountain allowed Gravis to remotely disconnect these spears as long as Spear Mountain didn’t create new ones.

Spear Mountain hadn’t been prepared for this move at all, and he couldn’t react appropriately before Gravis attacked.

Gravis concentrated his entire physical power on his saber and chopped!

CRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

The saber hit the spinning ball as violent fire burned the surroundings. The friction between Gravis’ saber and Spear Mountain’s body was insane. Gravis’ saber was incredibly hard while Spear Mountain ground on the saber’s edge like a saw. The fire was simply an insane amount of burning sparks created by friction.

The surroundings were illuminated, but Gravis’ body remained just as black as always. It was like his scales were absorbing the light.

In an instant, a gigantic crevice was created along Spear Mountain’s body as Gravis was pushed into the distance. Gravis’ bones were breaking, and his muscles were tearing by the sheer force, but he kept pushing.

After just the blink of an eye, blood was drawn as Gravis’ saber had created a deep crevice on Spear Mountain’s body.

However, at the same time, Gravis’ saber had vanished.

It had been ground into nothingness.

Gravis let Spear Mountain roll over him just before Spear Mountain summoned new spears. Gravis came out of this confrontation with only a couple of broken bones, which were quickly fixed by his Brilliance Element.

Spear Mountain rolled for a bit and stopped. A burning trail of destruction and blood was left behind by him.

Spear Mountain’s head reappeared with an enraged look, and his shell started to regenerate with insane speeds.

However, Spear Mountain’s expression suddenly turned to shock as his shell stopped healing.

He was out of Life Energy!?

That’s not possible!

He had at least 50% left!

Spear Mountain checked his body, and he suddenly felt terrified.

The metal on his body was absorbing his Life Energy!

How did something like that even work!?

Remember when Gravis put Formation Arrays on Spear Mountain’s body?

He had put several Formation Arrays on it, and one of them was a Formation Array that was used for the infusion of the Shadow Element into a weapon.

When Gravis had carved these Formation Arrays into Spear Mountain’s body, he had also infused just enough Shadow Element into him to absorb Life Energy without it being noticed. Spear Mountain was clutching the edge of a Shadow-infused weapon without noticing it.

BANG!

Suddenly, a spear hit Spear Mountain’s shell. He didn’t get injured, but his soul shook violently.

Gravis had infused this spear with the Deep Wood Element and had used all his remaining Energy on it.

Spear Mountain’s soul shook, and he couldn’t think for a second.

And when he recovered, he saw a shining crescent made out of lightning before him.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

When Spear Mountain had been stunned, Gravis had unleashed his pre-loaded Lightning Crescent.

The force of the lightning broke Spear Mountain’s entire shell off. Normally, Gravis’ Lightning Crescent wouldn’t have been enough to achieve something like this, even when Spear Mountain was injured. After all, his body was insanely powerful.

However, Gravis’ weapons had been forged with the Laws of Core Sharpness, Core Hardness, and Core Destruction. The most important Law was the Element of Core Destruction. The subtle destructive power of the Core Element had accumulated in Spear Mountain’s body when he had ground an entire saber into nothingness. When the lightning hit Spear Mountain, this destructive power exploded forward.

Spear Mountain’s entire body bled profusely and shook.

Spear Mountain was still alive and could still move.

He still had a ton of Energy left.

Gravis was out of Energy, and he had even used his pre-loaded Lightning Crescent. This meant that he was out of attacks...

If that had happened before his last Law Comprehension Session, at least.

Now, things were different.

Gravis pointed one of his index fingers at Spear Mountain.

Was Gravis’ Energy storage truly so small that these couple of attacks would consume 100% of his Energy?

No.

So, where had all the Energy gone to?

SHING!

A ray of intense, white light shot out of Gravis’ finger and punched through Spear Mountain’s body.

Gravis had been loading his Element of Brilliance for the entirety of the fight.

Spear Mountain was out of Life Energy, but with his Laws of Body Growth, he could have still recovered given time.

However, this last beam of Brilliance had punched a hole through Spear Mountain’s body.

Recovering was very difficult now, if not impossible.

Yet, Spear Mountain was still alive. He glared at Gravis, but his vision was foggy at best. He was quickly losing consciousness.

However, Spear Mountain could still charge forward with the last flicker of his life and kill Gravis.

Gravis was out of Energy and out of attacks. Spear Mountain’s body was far more powerful, even in this injured state. Maybe he could kill Gravis.

However, Spear Mountain’s mind calmed down as the reality of his situation set in.

Even if he killed Gravis, he wouldn’t survive.

It was only a matter of time until he died.

Spear Mountain thought of the beasts and released a bloody sigh.

"Well fought," he transmitted with the last of his soul.

BANG!

And then, his body fell to the ground, dead.

He had lost, and there was no reason to fight anymore. He had lost fair and square.

Gravis also released a deep sigh as his Spirit shook. He had used up everything he had.

’If only I could have used my Spirit and Will-Aura,’ Gravis thought. ’However, if I used my Laws of Perceived Reality with my Spirit or my Will-Aura, some beast would have picked it up. Using either of the two would have immediately killed me.’

There was a high possibility that at least several other Immortal Kings watched the fight. If they saw Gravis using his Will-Aura or Spirit, they would have killed him.

Gravis had been forced to fight without some of his most powerful weapons.

Gravis was also unable to use his Frost Laws that slowed the opponent since he would have needed to activate them remotely, which required a Spirit. Using the Law of Storm’s Pressure would have needed to compress all of Gravis’ surroundings, which would have also affected his own speed. When Gravis used the Law of Storm’s Pressure, he only activated it around the opponent’s body, but that would have also needed a Spirit.

These limitations were the reason why this fight had been so difficult to win.

’However, this was still excellent tempering. I nearly died several times, and I used everything I could.’

Gravis slowly walked over to Spear Mountain’s body.

BANG!

Suddenly, something exploded near Gravis, and Gravis looked over with narrowed eyes.

A new beast had arrived.

In front of Gravis stood a biped with black scales. Its head was that of a snake, and its claws were similar to raptor claws but with thumbs. Its legs were filled with explosive power.

Gravis narrowed his eyes at the new arrival.

Another Black Demon had appeared, and it looked with fiery eyes at Gravis.

Chapter 859 - 859 – Unforeseeable Danger

Gravis looked at the Black Demon with narrowed eyes. She definitely didn’t come here just to exchange pleasantries based on her aura and eyes. By all intents and purposes, she was unleashing a very aggressive aura. It was like she was demonstrating her power in front of Gravis.

Suddenly, her head became bigger, and she put her two hands down her throat.

SHING! SHING!

When her hands reappeared again, she carried two swords in them. Apparently, Gravis was not the only one that thought that storing one’s equipment inside one’s body was a good idea.

BRRRR!

An aura of violent Inferno appeared around her. It was like she was trying her very best to burn her immediate vicinity.

This made Gravis frown. ’Why would she do that? This is just a waste of Energy.’

After that, she suddenly cut a crevice into her chest with her sabers and burned it with intensity. When Gravis saw that, he became even more confused.

CRRR!

She suddenly started spinning as blood went everywhere. She was slashing her surroundings with fervor and even left several cuts on her body.

After that, she punched the ground and created a monumental crater. When she had done that, she stopped as smoke came out of her mouth. She looked with fiery eyes at Gravis while the wounds on her body healed with insane speeds.

Gravis had already discerned several level four Laws. ’That was the Law of Inferno’s Heat and Inferno’s Decomposition. After that, she demonstrated at least two different Body Growth Laws. She might even know a Battle Body Law that relates to physical power.’

’Sure enough, the Black Demons deserve their reputation. She can definitely fight a level above herself. To be honest, it’s quite impressive that a Late Minor Circulation Immortal King knows so many level four Laws.’

’However,’ Gravis thought as he frowned. ’I still don’t get why she is showing me all of this.’

Her body had already recovered, and she looked at Gravis with fiery eyes. "Am I worthy?" she asked.

"Worthy of what?" Gravis asked. This could mean a lot of things.

"Worthy to bear your offspring," she said.

Gravis’ eyebrows shot up in surprise. ’Wait, what?’

Then, his eyebrows furrowed. ’Is that why she has demonstrated her power? She saw my Battle-Strength and decided that she wants to have my children.’

Gravis’ expression became complex, but he quickly controlled his expression again. This was probably something very normal, and being surprised by something like this might elicit suspicion.

"You can’t even fight two levels above yourself," Gravis said coldly with derision.

Gravis didn’t feel nice while saying something like this. He felt a bit embarrassed by the Black Demon’s very direct confrontation. Usually, he would just have thanked her for the compliment and would have told her in a nice way that he wasn’t interested.

However, this was not how beasts worked. Gravis had to act derisive and arrogant in front of her. He couldn’t just say that he wasn’t interested in her because he wasn’t attracted to her. Something like this was a very human trait.

Her eyes exploded with rage, but then, she calmed down. "It was worth a shot," she said as she put her swords away again.

SHING!

And then, she immediately teleported away.

’Well, that was weird,’ Gravis thought.

After the Black Demon left, Gravis went over to the corpse of Spear Mountain and acted like he was swallowing it. However, he was simply putting it into his Spirit Space.

It was quite rare that Gravis’ enemies left behind corpses. Usually, they would all be consumed by lightning, but this time, Gravis had finished his battle with the Brilliance Element.

However, Gravis preferred having a corpse. Right now, he was not interested in a breakthrough, which would mean that the Energy of Spear Mountain would have been wasted. Luckily, he was a corpse now, and Gravis could probably even sell it. Gravis was sure that beast corpses were worth quite a lot of money.

Gravis also gathered all the fragments of Spear Mountain’s shell and put them away. Humans could find a use for basically anything.

Gravis’ body suddenly started shaking, but that was deliberate. Gravis had to act like he was breaking through. Otherwise, it would just be too weird that he ate such a powerful corpse with nothing happening.

Space fluctuations appeared as Gravis vanished. However, this was only misdirection. Gravis wanted to appear like he was teleporting away, but he had actually used his Law of Shadow Movement to go to the edge of the clearing. After that, he used the Law of Shadow’s Subtlety to hide and then used the Law of Graphite Movement to vanish into the earth.

Gravis had to vanish for some time and reappear somewhere else. His Battle-Strength was too conspicuous.

Gravis had just dug into the ground for a couple of kilometers when he suddenly stopped.

Gravis’ Spirit Sense picked up something that happened at the clearing, which he had just left. Since he wasn’t that far into the earth yet, his Spirit Sense could still pick up parts of the surface.

A heavy and powerful corpse of a Mid Major Circulation Immortal King was thrown into the clearing. After that, a silver hawk landed on the corpse and looked around with sharp eyes.

After seeing that Gravis had vanished, the silver hawk flew away but left the corpse behind.

Gravis took a deep breath, which was rather difficult since he was surrounded by earth right now.

He had noticed several things.

First of all, that silver hawk was at least a Late Major Circulation Immortal King.

Second of all, it didn’t even care about the corpse, which meant that it had killed this beast specifically for something it had to do in the clearing. After it saw that Gravis left, it simply ignored the corpse.

Gravis spent the next 200 years just being underground. He still had over 150 years left until Siral’s tribulation, which was more than enough to make his way back.

"There are a couple," the rhinoceros answered.

When Gravis heard that, his interest increased. He had come to the right place.

"What about the Mixed Elements Law?" Gravis asked.

The rhinoceros looked with skepticism at Gravis. "There is one, but going there will be meaningless for you."

"Why?" Gravis asked.

"The level of power of the trees there is too high for you," he said. "They are not interested in Minor Circulation Immortal Kings. They are not even interested in the majority of Major Circulation Immortal Kings."

Yet, Gravis didn’t give up. He had remembered something, and he was sure that there was a second way to pay the trees. "You said most," Gravis said. "Which means that these trees are interested in more than just power. They are also interested in Laws, right?"

Gravis had been very careful with his phrasing. If he appeared like someone with no idea how these trees conducted their traits, beasts might suspect him of being a human.

"Of course they do," the rhinoceros said as if it was something obvious, "but they are only interested if you have level five Laws of your own."

"Tell me where I can find them," Gravis said.

The rhinoceros scoffed. Gravis was obviously too weak for something like this, but the rhinoceros didn’t care.

Gravis received some directions and left. The Law Comprehension Area was not close, and Gravis had to travel for nearly a day to arrive at his destination.

When Gravis saw the Law Comprehension Area, his mouth opened wide in shock.

Chaos!

Everything was in chaos!

There were mud plains for the Major Law of Mud, magma pits, freezing water filled with lightning, burning lightning storms, and much more. It was a miracle that this entire thing still existed. All these different plains should have long annihilated each other. According to logic, this Law Comprehension Area shouldn’t exist.

However, Gravis soon found an answer.

Trees of different sizes and levels were growing all along the Law Comprehension Area. The mud pit was filled with gigantic trees that had brown fruits growing on them, for example. There were so many trees that it was nearly impossible to find a spot without one of them.

There were even trees growing upside down, their roots stuck in the burning storm clouds.

’This is probably an artificial Law Comprehension Area. The trees know these Laws and keep them going with their own Energy. That’s how something this chaotic can exist.’

Even the Law Comprehension Areas were forests. ’Sure enough, I can find some interesting fruits here.’

"Trade or comprehension?" a voice suddenly appeared in Gravis’ mind. Gravis looked over and saw a brown snake on a rock at the edge of the Law Comprehension Area.

This was a Peak Immortal King.

"Trade," Gravis said.

"You can enter for one week," the snake answered directly.

"How much for comprehension?" Gravis asked.

"Soldier or Wave Leader?" the snake asked.

"Soldier," Gravis answered.

"Ask your Wave Leader," the snake answered.

’Great, thanks,’ Gravis thought sarcastically. However, Gravis still received some interesting information. The snake didn’t say Lord. It said to ask his Wave Leader.

In the middle of the hill stood a lone tree. It was only around 20 meters tall, which was absolutely tiny compared to all the other trees Gravis had seen in this world.

However, this sole tree hogged the entire center of the Law Comprehension Areas.

On the tree were tiny, colorful berries. Every individual berry had so many different colors that it was hard to differentiate all of them.
