like he really wants to marry me. He even decided on the wedding date already."

Avery gaped like a goldfish. She wanted to say something, but even her thoughts failed. It was as if there was a rock stuck

After they got home, they started to exaggerate how Tyler mistreated them to Vernon. They did not tell him the baby Avery

was carrying was not Tyler. Instead, they told Vernon Tyler did not want to accept or take responsibility for the baby.

beforehand that under no circumstances could he let her come to the wedding," comforted Aurora.

Vicky nodded and said nothing more.

40 minutes later, their car stopped in front of a church.

After she got down of the car, Aurora pulled aside one of the staff there and asked, "Is Tyler here yet?"

'Vicky would be a laughingstock of the whole city if Tyler decides to leave her at the altar.' she thought. 'Maybe she's

worried Tyler will get cold feet. That's why she's been feeling anxious.'

The staff was a little surprised by her question. "Mister Tyler has been here since early morning."

Aurora sighed with relief. Only then did she open the car door for Vicky.

Aurora looked at her watch. "It's almost time for the ceremony, so let's head inside."

Vicky did not really have any family or relatives, so most of her guests were friends. At that moment, her friends were

Vicky felt better when she heard Tyler's voice. She was so worried something horrible would happen like him leaving her

Cece's eyes never left her watch. When the clock struck the time Vicky was supposed to go in, Cece said hurriedly, "It's

Ava and Jennifer slowly opened the double door.

However, Aurora's phone suddenly rang at that moment. She took out her phone and was stunned to see Noah's name

flashing on the screen.

Vicky entered the door slowly while Aurora answered her phone.

"Is that crazy b*tch here?" Aurora's first thought was Avery had come to crash the wedding. "Vicky's already walking into

the hall, so you have to stop Avery no matter what! She can kick up a fuss and humiliate herself however she wants after

the wedding.-

"Vicky's already walking in?" repeated Noah in a panic. "Are you sure?"

"Yeah. What's the matter? Did you fail to stop Avery from coming in? Don't worry, I've already put up a stopgap measure in

"It's not that!" Noah was so filled with panic that his words were starting to run over each other. "Tell Vicky to go back

outside the hall right now!"

Aurora did not even have the chance to answer when Cece's phone rang too.

"Why is Harvey calling me? Don't tell me he's thinking of stealing Vicky away!" said Cece in shock when she saw the

caller ID. Even so, she answered the phone. "Yes, Harvey?"

"Under no circumstances should you let Vicky into the hall! Stop her now!" he said gravely.

Hearing this, she thought her suspicion had been confirmed. He really was trying to ruin the wedding!

' But Vicky already went in," said Cece softly.

Suddenly, Aurora's phone dropped to the ground with a loud thud. Cece turned to look at her to see what was going on.

Aurora-pale in the face-was looking ahead in obvious dread.

"Aurora, are you okay?" asked Cece.

Aurora continued to look dazedly in front of her as though she did not hear what Cece said.

Everyone turned to look where Aurora was looking, and their expressions fell.

At that moment, the church hall was filled with dead silence.

Everyone looked shocked when they saw Vicky-dressed in a wedding dress-walking into the hall.

Soon, the guests began to whisper among themselves.

"Hey, isn't this the woman who was involved in a scandal with Tyler a few months ago?"

"What's going on? What is she doing here?"

"Don't tell me she's here to stop the wedding."

"No. That's impossible. She should know better than that. Tyler was only playing with her. He never intended to marry her

at all."

All the guests' gazes landed on Vicky like sharp daggers.

However, Vicky kept her eyes fixed on the two figures standing in front of the stage.

Then, as if sensing someone was staring at them, the two figures turned in unison to look back at her.

Aria was dressed in a luxurious and dreamy wedding dress. She raised her eyebrow with surprise when she saw Vicky.

"Miss Vicky, are you getting married here too?" she asked.

Vicky did not look at her. Instead, she looked at the man standing beside Aria in the hopes of finding the answers to all the

questions running through her mind from the man's eyes.
