He stared at the confused look on her face in contempt." Vicky, you're getting better at acting."

Vicky was clueless as to what happened. "What are you talking about, Tyler?"

"Satisfied now?"

Vicky was rendered speechless as she did not even understand what he was accusing her of.

Not expecting to get any answers from him, she walked around him to leave.

Suddenly, he reached out to grab her by the wrist and said," Come have lunch with me."

His tone was casual but authoritative.

She turned to look at his face. "Aren't you going to see Gloria?"

The way Gloria glared at Vicky earlier was as though Vicky had stolen her most prized belonging, and Vicky knew that the man before her was Gloria's most precious.

"This is what you are after, right?" he asked coldly.

Vicky hated people who spoke in riddles, so she shook his hand off expressionlessly, yet he refused to let go.

"Your assistant."

blaming it all on me..." She paused and her anger rose again at the memories of being toyed by Tyler.

"You hired that guy who said I plotted everything as well, right? You hired someone to frame me and accused me of not wanting the divorce. You went onto my messenger application, blocked my friends, and impersonated me to chat with others... Which one of us is the childish one here?

Also, you staged the whole thing about Forever Night and tried to frame Sebastian for it as well! On top of that, you pretend to be the best husband of the year when we return to Aryadelle, only for you to put on a mask to scare me!" Vicky became increasingly agitated as she spoke.

Vicky ignored Selene and kept her eyes on Tyler. "How did Gloria get kidnapped?"

He glanced at her and said, "You should ask your childhood friend about that."

"Why bother acting like you don't know a thing?" Selene said sharply. "Your best friend, Alex, dressed up like a doctor and kidnapped Gloria while we were gone."

"Alex? Are you sure it was him?"

"His face was captured by the surveillance camera, so who else can it be?"

Selene could not wait to show the surveillance footage to Vicky.

Selene had her own job, so she could not remain by Gloria's side all the time. Since Gloria was about to be discharged, no one would expect her to get kidnapped.

Vicky watched Alex's face and how he snuck around the hospital from the surveillance footage, and she instantly felt overwhelmed by a headache.

'Even if he wanted to kidnap Gloria, he should have at least checked and avoided surveillance cameras, right?' she thought. 'It's common sense, and if he doesn't know that, he isn't cut out for this kind of work.'

Selene stared at Vicky smugly. "Vicky, what can you say for yourself?"

"I have nothing to say."

Selene pointed at Vicky excitedly and said to Tyler, "Tyler, she admitted to kidnapping Gloria!"

"Miss Rathborne, please watch your tongue. I never admitted to that."
