Chapter 321

Violet was so shocked her jaw almost hit the floor. She thought, 'No way, my mom really wants me to get married this badly?'

She was stunned for a moment and nearly choked on her gum before grabbing her throat and coughing twice. She waved her hands frantically. "No, you've got the wrong person. I'm not Violet..."

She thought, 'Isn't a quick death better? My mom just wants to torture and torment me!'

The hipster looked at Violet with disbelief, then pointed at the roses she had on the table with a playful smile and said, "We both have the same roses. I can't mistake you, and you're Ms. Monroe."

Before Violet could speak, the hipster casually ran his hand through his broom-like hair and confidently said, "I know I'm attractive. You must have been so enchanted by me at first sight that you forgot your own name."

Violet was speechless and she thought, 'Oh my god, just get rid of me!'

A few days later, Audrey received

the same place as last time.

notification for the second recording of Supergalactic Idol. It was at

This time, Alistair finally got his wish and personally drove her to the show's recording site.

On the way, Audrey flipped down the car's sun visor and used the small mirror to tidy her hair.

She glanced at the traffic outside and said worriedly, "There will certainly be reporters and media at the entrance. Who knows what they'll concoct if they catch us? Should we avoid them?"

"Sure." Alistair understood her concerns and didn't want anyone to disturb their final moments together, so he discreetly avoided the media.

When they arrived at the destination, Audrey didn't rush to get out of the car. Instead, she picked up the recording rules card provided by the show earlier to review it.

This recording session was still in the form of a live broadcast, but there were significant differences from the initial stage.

The initial stage featured a group versus group format, but it wasn't an entire group elimination. The contestants with the lowest online popularity and lowest on-site scores were eliminated.

These were Yancy from Group Four and Eliza from Group Three.

The second recording session got serious and changed from group battles to a solo elimination battle. The solo elimination format meant that the remaining 28 members were divided into 14 pairs for one-on- one battles.

The final decision was made based on a combination of online votes and scores from on-site judges to determine the winners and losers The loser would be eliminated immediately, while the winner would advance to the next round. Audrey carefully checked the rules and said to Alistair next to her, "This recording session is intense with

immediate elimination on the linen

Everyone will show their true

abilities, so winning is going to be difficult." en FindNovel

Alistair ruffled her hair and gently reassured her, "Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Just treat it as a chance to relax. I'll handle the company matters. Focus on

"Yeah, thank you." With a gentle expression, Audrey leaned over and gave him a simple kiss on the corner of his lips.

But Alistair reached out and held the back of her head, deepening the kiss.

Thinking about how they were going to be apart for several days, she didn't resist his embrace. The two of them stayed close for a moment. Meanwhile, a heated discussion was sparking online.

In the Supergalactic Idol discussion, everyone was buzzing about who would be eliminated this time.

Most viewers still hold the same opinion as before, believing that strong contestants like Helena, Yelimia, Leila, and Jingle would definitely get past the second round and into the finals.

Someone asked, [Do you think Audie will get eliminated this time?]

The moment this post went up, it immediately received replies. [No way, you should be asking if she'll take first place! Actually, don't even ask, because she'll definitely be first this time too!]

Chapter 322

[I'll admit Audie has some talent, but don't you guys trust her a bit too much? The others are not weak either. If Audie faces off against Leila in this round, there's no definite winner.]

This comment hadn't been up for long before Leila, who was surfing online, saw it.

Leila directly replied, [Audie writes her own songs, which means her skills are above mine. If I go against her, I'll have no choice but to admit defeat!]

With Leila personally acknowledging it, the audience's discussions became even more heated.

[Oh my gosh, it looks like Leila really likes Audrey. She's going out of her way to defend her like that.]

[As a Leila fan, I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but while others join shows for competition, Leila seems to just be there to admire her idol.]

[Audie has always been quite strong, you know. Don't forget, in her debut performance, she totally overpowered Raeyon with her talent!]

[Speaking of Raeyon, I thought she'd quit after what happened. I can't believe she had the nerve to stay.] After Raeyon and Andrew's scandal was exposed, both of them were basically shunned for a while. Andrew was removed from the show, but Raeyon refused to accept it and insisted on staying to continue filming.

After all, this was currently her only opportunity to appear in front of the public.

[Putting everything else aside, Raeyon does sing pretty well, and her dancing's not too bad either. She might just snag a spot in the next round.]

[Anyway, I'm not watching any part with Raeyon. A homewrecker like her is just disgusting!] People cursed Raeyon for a bit and then quickly shifted the topic to Audrey.

Audie was originally just a minor internet celebrity that no one expected much from, but she surprised everyone and became the

number one viral sensation online.

Netizens suspected she had someone backing her, otherwise she wouldn't have come out unscathed after being falsely accused of murder by Eliza.

Now, neither the fans nor the contestants dared to underestimate her, and they certainly didn't want to offend her.

Some netizens even jokingly say, [l tell you, Audie is really the fierce and stunning slayer of the Supergalactic Idol show. She can defeat anyone! Her fans are really lucky!]

And at this moment, the so-called wild beauty was nearly left breathless in the cramped car by the kiss of a man as handsome as a dream.

Just then, the piercing ringtone of a cell phone broke the romantic atmosphere inside the car.

Audrey snapped back to reality, pushed Alistair away, and gasped, "I... I need to answer this call."

Alistair chuckled softly and gently helped smooth out her hair.

Audrey blushed as she took out her phone.

As soon as the call connected, Leila's voice came through. "Audie, are you at the recording studio? Want to go together?"

"I..." Audrey's voice was slightly soft; she cleared her throat and continued. "I'm already near the studio, and see you in a bit.'

"Alright then." Leila sighed a bit

regretfully and asked. "Did you see the online popularity poll? Audie, you've made it! Number one in the online rankings, that's impressive!"

en FindNovel

"I'm number one?" Audrey raised an eyebrow in surprise and said. "No way..."

She clearly remembered that during the first stage of recordings, she was third in popularity.

She thought, 'What happened afterward? How did I end up in the first place?'

Chapter 323

Leila excitedly said, "How could they not? You're way ahead at number one, and Helena, who's in second place, has almost one million fewer votes than you.

"Helena's votes are quite inflated, yet she's still ranked behind you. She's probably furious right now." Hearing that, Audrey suddenly glanced at Alistair beside her. She thought, 'Could it be that my high online ranking is because he paid to boost it?'

Audrey's face darkened a bit, and she said to the person on the phone, "I have a few things to take care of right now. Can we meet later to chat? Is that okay?"

Leila, not giving it much thought, cheerfully agreed, "Sure thing. I won't disturb you then. See you later." After hanging up the call, Audrey looked at Alistair.

Under her gaze, Alistair lifted an eyebrow and innocently asked, "What's going on?"

Audrey asked, "Why am I ranked first in online popularity? Did you spend money on this for me?"

After finding out that Logan had spent millions on votes for her, she had already told Alistair not to waste money on her like that in the future.

Audrey sighed and said, "I know you have money, but I really don't want you spending it on this."

Hearing this, Alistair chuckled and said, "Audrey, have you ever thought that you might be number one because of your own abilities?"

"No way..." Audrey instinctively shook her head in denial. "If it's about talent on stage, I'd agree. But popularity comes from audience appeal, and I'm really not that likable."

Alistair argued back, "How can you say that? Many people like you, Audrey. Don't underestimate yourself.

I really didn't get involved in this voting; it was all your fans voting for you."

Audrey was still in disbelief, and she muttered, "I... do I really have that many fans now?"

Alistair nodded, his tone slightly mournful. "Of course, there are so many people who like you now. I

wanted to spend money on you, but didn't even have the chance."

He genuinely considered spending

money to get Audrey to the top. But before he could take action, those who had previously misunderstood Audrey seemed to have a change of heart. They all went wild voting for her to apologize.

This group was so enthusiastic that, without much effort, they pushed her to the top spot in popularity. Audrey never expected to become famous in such a way. Seeing Alistair looking somewhat pitiful, she couldn't help but laugh.

She thought, 'Who would've thought that Mr. Hayes, a man wealthier than a nation, would ever find himself unable to outspend others?'

She laughed, wrapped her arm around his, and gave it a gentle shake, saying, "Alright, don't be upset. No matter what others do, they can't surpass the place you hold in my heart.'

With that simple sentence, Alistair was quickly cheered up.

His face softened, but he followed up with a question. "Does this 'someone else' include Sunny?"

Audrey was taken aback. Once she processed it, she felt a bit speechless.

She thought, 'Who would have thought that Mr. Hayes, a powerful figure outside, would be such a childish guy, even getting jealous of his son?'

If the people in the business world knew, they would be totally disillusioned.

Audrey suddenly had a hunch. She grabbed Alistair and asked, "Last night, did you purposely play games with Sunny until midnight just to make him so sleepy that he couldn't get up in the morning so you could drive me to work alone?"

She knew she felt like she had forgotten something when she left the house this morning. Turns out it was her son...

Audrey originally wanted to test

Alistair. But when she saw him awkwardly touch his nose, she immediately realized she was right. He actually had plans against his six-year-old son.

On the surface, he claimed he was playing games with Sunny, but in truth, he intended to wear Sunny out

so he'd sleep late, allowing him to take her to work alone.

Audrey thought, 'It's really hard to even judge this!'

Chapter 324

Audrey rubbed her forehead and said helplessly to Alistair, "Sunny is at a stage where he needs security. Isn't your plan a bit much?"

She thought, 'What if Sunny wakes up alone at home, gets upset, and has a breakdown?'

Hearing this, Alistair's expression became serious. "Don't worry, before we left, I asked Mom to come over. When Sunny wakes up, she'll take care of him, so everything will be fine."

Ever since Sunny called her grandma on his own, his relationship with Evelyn has gotten much closer. Hearing that Evelyn went to keep her company, Audrey finally breathed a sigh of relief.

But she still looked a bit annoyed and quietly said, "Alistair, you can't do this again next time, okay?" She stayed up late last night and in the morning, afraid of being late, she rushed around like crazy.

When he said he would walk her out, she followed him without a second thought, not even realizing that Sunny was still at home.

Alistair also knew deep down that he shouldn't be so petty. But the problem was that little rascal had had his wife all to himself for a whole week.

If he didn't fight back soon, he might end up feeling like a widower for the rest of his life!

Audrey looked at him and sighed helplessly. She knew that, for these past few days, they had been secretly competing over her "ownership".

Because Sunny was upset, she'd been caring for and accompanying him all this time.

Thinking about how Alistair had been left alone night after night lately, Audrey felt a bit guilty.

She sighed and willingly wrapped her arms around his neck, gently kissing his cheek. Smiling, she coaxed, "Alright, I've made you feel neglected these past few days and I'm sorry. Once the show recording is over, I'll make it up to you, okay?"

As soon as she finished speaking, Alistair's deep, husky voice chimed in, "You said it!"

Alistair suddenly leaned closer, whispering in her ear, "No matter how much you plead later, I won't go easy on you."

Audrey's back tensed, and an inexplicable panic washed over her.

Her legs went a bit weak, but she didn't want to concede. With determination, she said, "I'm not scared at all..."

After all, she knew if she started crying, his heart would ache terribly for her.

Alistair gave a knowing smile and gently tousled her hair.

After successfully soothing her jealous husband, Audrey slipped through the show's special entrance into the recording hall.

Jake, the attentive host, noticed Audrey had arrived. He quickly stepped up to cue her, "Audie's here. Come take your seat!"

Most of the twenty-eight

contestants had already arrived, and the seats arranged by the show were nearly full. Only the center seat was empty, flanked by Helena and Yelmia.

en FindNovel

Audrey certainly didn't think that the center seat was reserved for her.

After all, the last time she came to the show they had all teamed up to isolate her and sent her to the unnoticed last row. So this time she planned to sit at the back again.

But to her surprise, Jake saw through her plan and called her out, saying, "Audie is now our top fan favorite. If you sit too far back, the fans might think we're mistreating you. The center seat is reserved just for you, so go ahead!"

Audrey pretended to be surprised and softly said, "With so many seniors here, I'm afraid it wouldn't be appropriate for me to sit there."

Jake promptly replied, "There's nothing inappropriate at all."

Others joined in as well, whether sincerely or not, they all seemed eager to please Audrey on the surface. Even Helena said, "Yeah, Audie, come over and sit."

She smiled innocently as if she truly felt that Audrey was right for that position.

"Well, I won't refuse such kindness," Audrey said as she walked towards the seat.

Along the way, many guests greeted her warmly, each wearing a smile as pleasing as a spring breeze.

Their attitudes were worlds apart from when they first met. Indeed, once she became famous, everyone around her seemed to be a good person.

Audrey sighed inwardly and just nodded politely to those who approached, neither too warmly nor too coldly, allowing no room for criticism.

Just as she was about to sit down, a dark figure suddenly dashed out and lunged towards her. "Audie!"

Chapter 325

Hearing Leila's voice, Audrey quickly withdrew her hand that was about to push the person away and opened her arms wide.

With everyone watching, Leila rushed straight into her embrace.

Leila spun Audrey around with excitement, and even after putting her down, her eyes stayed on her. "Audie, I've missed you so much! If the show doesn't start filming soon, I might just come over to your place to hang out!"

Audrey lightly pressed her lips together and smiled warmly, saying, "I've missed you too."

The viewers in the live stream started chatting away when they saw this scene.

[I knew it, Leila is Audie's true love!]

[Whenever Leila shows up, Audie's smile gets even brighter.]

[Right, Audie is usually polite but distant with others, but with Leila, she treats her like they're really close. Their smiles are so sweet!]

[Audie doesn't like being close to others. She even refused to shake hands with a few people. It looked like she was about to push Leila away until she heard Leila's voice and decided to hug her instead. So sweet and romantic.]

[Leila stepping up to speak for Audie is so touching. Their friendship that's built on mutual respect is just so amazing!]

[Just friendship? Maybe there's more going on than it seems!]

Once someone started, many others were inspired, and they began reviewing the first show recordings, specifically editing clips of Leila and Audrey's interaction and even creating a couple's trending topic for them.

In just a few moments of Leila and Audrey's interaction, the trending topic gained over 100 thousand followers and kept going up. Inside the recording studio, Audrey and Leila were completely unaware of any of this.

The two walked hand in hand to their seats. Along the way, Leila looked Audrey up and down, then leaned over to her ear and teased quietly, "Audie, it looks like you've been living quite comfortably these days!" Audrey blinked, feigning calm, and asked, "Why do you say that?"

Leila chuckled knowingly and said, "Your skin looks so vibrant like you've been well-nourished from the inside out, and your lips are so bright and red. Doesn't seem like lipstick to me! You're even prettier than last time!"

Seeing Leila's playful expression, Audrey caught her meaning and couldn't help but blush. She playfully punched Leila's shoulder. "Stop making things up."

Leila laughed and put her arm around Audrey's shoulder, saying "Audie, you look like a shy newlywed getting teased by a rascal. Your face is as red as an apple!"

Audrey couldn't help but touch her cheek; it indeed felt a bit warm.

Her face turned even redder. She shot a playful glare at Leila and whispered, "If you keep talking nonsense, I won't talk to you anymore."

Seeing this, Leila immediately pleaded, "Please forgive me, dear Audrey. I won't dare do it again." The earlier conversation was too quiet for others to hear, but this last sentence was caught by the microphone.

Suddenly, the comments section exploded.

[What were those two whispering about? Why did she call her "dear Audrey"?]

[Oh my gosh, Audie is blushing! Leila, you shameless person, stop teasing my wife!]

[Oh wow, this is just too good! Hey, if we can't beat them, join them!]

The atmosphere between the two was incredibly intimate as if nothing else mattered. This moment was just too sweet.

Their interaction was just a minor moment and quickly passed.

After Audrey sat down, Yelimia, who was next to the center seat, greeted her warmly, "Hey, Audie, how have you been lately?"

Her smile was much friendlier than the first time they met, lacking that sharp edge.

Audrey nodded slightly and politely said, "I've been doing well. Thank you for your concern, Yelimia."

Yelimia thought about mentioning

the support she had shown online, but seeing Audrey's formal

response, she decided against it. Her pride wouldn't allow her to do that.

Chapter 326

Once everyone was present, Jake, the host, began guiding everyone through the process.

In the center of the recording hall, Jake, holding a microphone, announced clearly, "I trust everyone on their way here has carefully read through the rules for our second round.

"But just in case anyone missed it, let me remind you again. Since the second round of Supergalactic Idol uses a one-on-one match-up system, there's no need for grouping. You'll draw lots to decide your opponent."

Even though everyone had already read the rules, many still played along by acting surprised.

Someone asked, "How will the order for drawing be arranged?" That was the question everyone was most concerned about right now.

After all, the sooner one drew lots, the more choices one had, and it was more beneficial for one. Jake gave a typical smile and said, "The sequence for drawing lots is based on the preliminary stage ranking. The team that came first gets to draw first. To prevent them from picking their own team, their names are not in the box, and so on."

In other words, Audrey won't be up against Leila as the audience had earlier predicted.

As soon as these words were spoken, some people were happy while others were worried.

The third group, which ranked the lowest in the preliminary stage, looked particularly downcast. With this method, they didn't have any opportunity to draw lots and could only be chosen by those who drew first. Soon, the lot drawing started. The wooden box for drawing lots was large enough, so the members of the sixth preliminary group didn't worry about the order and simply reached in together to draw their lots. A few seconds later, everyone had a slip of paper with their opponent's name on it.

After the top members of the preliminary stage drew their opponents' slips, Jake made a show of it, asking them to hand him the slips so he could announce their opponents.

No one had any objections to this. They handed their slips to Jake and then returned to their positions. Jake neatly stacked the slips in order and said softly, "Let's start from the top."

The first opponent announced was Yulia's. Jake smiled at Yulia, meeting her nervous gaze as he unfolded the slip, and said, "Yulia's opponent is Helena!"

With those words, Yulia's face turned as white as a sheet.

She couldn't believe her bad luck, drawing the strong opponent Helena.

On the other hand, Helena visibly relaxed upon hearing this, clearly confident about winning the match. Next up was Paula's opponent, the equally formidable Jingle.

Paula instantly displayed a bitter expression. Even Jake, the host, joked that their group was having a streak of bad luck.

But when it was Leila and Yelimia's turn, the situation took a turn, as they drew opponents who were much weaker than them.

Soon, Jake had only one piece of paper left in his hand. It contained the name of Audrey's opponent for this round.

Jake didn't open it right away.

Instead, he teased the audience et

The show producers really knew how to create suspense, even slipping in a commercial at this point.

In the audience, those who hadn't been picked yet mostly gave wry smiles.

Being chosen by Audrey wasn't considered a privilege. They fervently hoped that Jake wouldn't call their

names.

During the commercial break introduced by Jake, Paula, and Yulia took the chance to approach Audrey and try to befriend her.

Yulia was the first to speak up,

bet

"Audie, we were able to win last time thanks to you. I was wondering if

you have some time to help me

write a song."

Paula quickly chimed in, "Me too! Audie, could you also help me?" Audrey's eyes subtly darkened. She thought she wasn't that close with them.

Chapter 327

Audrey was about to refuse when someone else spoke up first.

Leila snapped without hesitation, "Audie isn't part of your team anymore. She has no obligation to help you. Seriously, do you think writing a song is easy? Just asking for one out of the blue, have you no shame?"

When they were on the same team, they constantly nitpicked Audrey. Leila thought, 'Where do they get the nerve now?'

Hearing this, Paula's face turned awkward, but considering the situation, she chose not to say anything. Yulia couldn't swallow her pride and retorted indignantly, "Leila, isn't that a bit harsh? We were teammates, after all. What's wrong with asking for a little help? If it comes down to it, I don't mind paying..."

"Shut up!" Leila's expression got even colder as she snapped. "Who are you insulting? You think Audie needs your measly money?"

"I..." Yulia bit her lip, realizing her words had soured the mood, and said a little sheepishly. "That's not what I meant."

She frantically defended herself, "I just think Audie's songs are great, and I wanted her help. She didn't even refuse; why are you so mad?"

Meanwhile, Yulia looked eagerly at Audrey, still unwilling to give up.

Audrey was never one to procrastinate; she immediately said, "Sorry, I have to prepare for my own performance. I don't have time to help you."

Seeing her outright refusal, Leila felt satisfied and crossed her arms with a smirk.

Paula and Yulia exchanged glances, too embarrassed to stay. They left, feeling down.

Not far away, Raeyon, who overheard their conversation, looked uneasy. Raeyon's talent and popularity were clearly equal to Audrey's.

Yet, Audrey took both the top debut stage and the online popularity first place. She had become someone who was avoided by everyone.

Thinking of this, Raeyon's emotions were hard to settle.

She was unwilling to accept that exposure of her connection with Andrew led to her descent into being unnoticed.

She was even more unwilling to be

outshone by some lowly influencer! As she thought about it, a sharp gleam appeared in Raeyon's@yes.

She thought, 'Since I was shunned because of the scandal, what if Audrey's sponsor were exposed publicly? Won't she end up the same?'

Audrey better hoped they were not opponents this time; otherwise, Raeyon believed she wouldn't hold back.

Meanwhile, the voice of Jake, the

host, echoed in the center of the recording studio. "Let's reveal who Audie's opponent is for this round. She is..."

Jake paused intentionally for a moment, his gaze sweeping over all the contestants present, finally settling on one person. "Raeyon!"

The moment Jake said the name, the recording studio fell into complete silence. These two are facing off once again.

Last time, their debut stage was quite unpleasant. This time, it seemed they might really go all out against each other.

For a moment, everyone was unsure whether to pity Audrey or Raeyon. People in the audience whispered among themselves.

[Audie is really unlucky. Raeyon has such a bad reputation now that even beating her wouldn't be anything to boast about!]

[Exactly, if you ask me, Raeyon is shameless. She should've quit the competition long ago. When she loses to Audie in front of everyone again, let's see how she deals with the embarrassment.]

It was obvious that everyone agreed that Raeyon was likely to lose.

[If I were Audie, I'd put in all my effort to put Raeyon down. I just can't stand how arrogant she is.]

Chapter 328

Audrey didn't react much to it. From her perspective, she would give it her all, no matter who the opponent was.

Raeyon, on the other hand, was so angry she was nearly fuming. She believed Audrey was calm because she looked down on her and didn't see her as a worthy opponent. This made her jealousy towards Audrey grow even stronger.

The rounds of drawing lots ended quickly. Jake stood in the center and smiled, saying, "Alright, the live draw is over. You all now know who your opponents are, so next, we'll move on to choosing dorms." Hearing this, everyone got excited again.

"It's time to pick dorms!"

"This time, they probably won't provide separate villas like before. It'll likely be shared housing."

"Or maybe it'll be a group dorm, where everyone gets a bunk bed."

While everyone was guessing, Jake said, "Due to the limited rooms, it's set up for three people to share one room, and four in another. You can freely choose your roommates, and the show won't interfere." As soon as Jake finished, the studio buzzed with discussion again.

Everyone joined the show to gain visibility, after all. Everyone knew exactly who they should hang out with to get more screen time.

Right after Jake finished, many people rushed to invite Helena and Yelimia, their senior colleagues. Besides these seniors, the current favorite of the audience, Audrey, was also very popular.

Hearing Jake's words, Yulia seemed to have completely forgotten the embarrassment of being rejected by Audrey earlier.

She eagerly looked at Audrey and said, "Audie, we've already shared a place for so many days and know each other well. Why don't we continue rooming together this time too?"

Audrey glanced at them briefly and replied politely but without expression, "Sorry, I want to room with Leila. You might want to find someone else."

Being turned down twice in a row made them feel a bit resentful, even if they were generally easygoing. But neither their fame nor their abilities matched up to Audrey's, so despite their frustration, they could only grit their teeth and endure it.

Paula could only awkwardly say, "Oh, alright. I'll go with Yulia to find someone else. If you change your mind, feel free to come find us.

With that, she quickly dragged Yulia away, afraid they'd embarrass themselves further if they stayed. While Yulia and Paula were unhappy, Leila was so happy she practically jumped with joy.

She shook Audrey's shoulders excitedly and said, "Audie, I knew you wouldn't leave me!"

Just

moments ago,

she was worried

BUT

Audrey might agree with Paula and Yulia. Unexpectedly, not only did she decline, she was honest about wanting to stay with her. At that moment, Leila felt happier than if she'd won the lottery.

Fans shipping the two of them were thrilled, almost wanting to put up banners to announce it to the

world-the couple they were

shipping became real!

Even more, some fans were so excited in the livestream chat that they couldn't help but squeal with delight.

Meanwhile, Alistair hadn't even noticed this small group of shippers.

But just as he was seriously watching his wife's show, he saw Sunny stepping out of the room.

The little kid was hugging his tablet PC, his small face was stern and tense, and as soon as he got close to Alistair, he let out an unhappy huff.

"What's with that angry face?" Alistair frowned at him.

It was rare to see such a clear mood swing from the little guy. Alistair thought, 'Is he still angry about what happened this morning?'

Sunny let out a huff, placing the tablet in front of Alistair.

Alistair glanced down and quickly saw it was a fan page on the tablet.

Alistair was utterly confused. He

thought, How does my son get interested in fan pages? Why is this page called "Audrey's Leila"? Could it be a fan page created for Audrey?'

en FindNovel

Thinking it might have something to do with Audrey, Alistair picked up the tablet PC and started scrolling, reading a couple of new posts.

Moments later, Alistair's face darkened like a storm cloud.

He thought, 'What the heck is this a fan page about my wife and Leila as a couple?'

Chapter 329

Alistair got really jealous when he saw a trending discussion about Audrey and Leila's couple moments. His wife's first couple fan page wasn't even created with him. He was so jealous.

No wonder Sunny was so upset. It would be strange if he wasn't mad.

Alistair took a deep breath, continually telling himself to stay calm and not embarrass himself in front of his son.

He quickly regained his usual calmness, ruffling his son's hair confidently, and said, "Don't worry. Daddy will definitely reclaim my rightful title!"

Sunny watched him calmly for a moment, then grabbed back the tablet PC, throwing in a parting comment, "Useless."

Alistair was speechless. His son had become a little troublemaker.

In reality, it wasn't just Alistair who felt intensely sour; Yelimia did too.

Seeing Leila and Audrey looking so closely, she couldn't care about her pride anymore and walked right over to them.

"Audie..." Yelimia called out to Audrey.

She took a deep breath awkwardly, as if she had made a huge decision, and finally built up the courage to say, "Can I live with you?"

After she spoke, Yelimia clearly saw Audrey's momentary shock.

Being someone who cared about appearances, she felt a bit uncomfortable and quickly made up an excuse, saying, "I'm not that familiar with the others, and I'm not used to living with them. There are only two of you now... just add me in."

Audrey was genuinely surprised that Yelimia would reach out to her. After all, when they lived together before, she had forcefully broken Yelimia's door, and ever since, Yelimia had been quite cold towards her. She hadn't expected Yelimia to change so much this time. However, Audrey could clearly sense that Yelimia wasn't like Paula and Yulia, who seemed to have ulterior motives.

This realization reduced some of her hostility, but her face still showed little reaction.

On the other hand, Leila quickly stood up for Audrey, sarcastically saying, "Didn't you say before that you didn't think much of our Audie?

"You think our Audie's just a minor influencer and you're the sophisticated artist, too good to hang out with us. Now you're the one who looks foolish."

Leila, being self-assured, was never afraid to upset anyone. She always said exactly what she shouldn't, striking right at others' hearts.

Yelimia was really upset, but she was too embarrassed to admit it was because she was a bit jealous of Leila and Audrey's close bond.

She snorted, Straightened her neck,

glared at Leila, and said, "I'm not the type of person who doesn't appreciate kindness. Audie helped me before, and I've long changed my opinion of her. Leila, stop trying to cause trouble."

"Me causing trouble? Interesting!" Leila put her hands on her hips and said defiantly. "You're the one who's always putting on airs and giving Audie the cold shoulder."

Yelimia felt wronged and retorted, "I told you I wasn't! It's just that my face naturally looks grumpy, and is that a crime now?"

Leila puffed up her chest and said fiercely, "I don't care. Even if you move in, I'm still Audie's best friend!" Yelimia was speechless.

Seeing Leila and Yelimia competing for Audrey's attention in public, the fans shipping them immediately split into two camps.

[Why do I feel like Yelimia and Audie would make a great couple too? An aloof tsundere with a secretly warm heart versus a seemingly cold but actually sweet girl.]

[No way! Audie and Leila are the perfect pair, and you can't break them up!]

[I'm different. I just want all three of them together...]

[Stop arguing. The four of us being together and living well is what matters most!]

In no time, the comment section was filled with fans discussing their favorite ships.

Alistair couldn't sit still any longer and took the initiative to call the show's producer, Kieran.

Kieran was watching the livestream backstage and jumped when he saw Alistair calling. He quickly moved to a quiet corner to answer the phone politely. "Mr. Hayes, what can I do for you?"

Alistair's expression was slightly tense as he calmly said, "About your suggestion for me to be a mentor for the next series, I've decided to go for it."

Kieran was speechless and he thought, 'What? Is Mr. Hayes really going to come to the show in person?

Chapter 330

After the recording finished, everyone went back to their dorms.

Audrey's

dorm was on the sixth floor. It was a small suite with two rooms, a bathroom, and a small living room, but no kitchen.

Leila and Yelimia each hooked an arm around Audrey, their eyes meeting with a spark of mischief. With only two rooms, it meant two of them would have to share a room.

Leila's eyes sparkled with an idea, and she quickly grabbed Audrey's arm saying, "Audie, I get a bit scared sleeping alone, and can you stay with me tonight?"

Audrey looked Leila up and down, thinking, 'A tough girl afraid of the dark?'

Before Audrey could reply, Yelimia quickly added, "Audie, Leila snores at night. If you sleep with her, you won't sleep well. Come with me instead; I'm a quiet sleeper."

Leila shot back, "You might not snore, but who knows if you'll steal Audie's blanket? What if she catches a cold?"

Yelimia retorted, "I won't let Audie catch a cold, so worry about yourself!"

As the two started bickering again, Audrey sighed helplessly. "Alright, that's enough, you two! Stop fighting."

The two stopped talking, but they were still glaring at each other.

It seemed like they wouldn't give up until Audrey made a choice.

Audrey couldn't stand it anymore and shook her head. "Look, I'm not used to sharing a bed with others, so

I might have to inconvenience you both..."

Hearing this, Yelimia and Leila were both dumbfounded.

They hadn't expected that in the end, they'd have to share a room.

They both thought, 'What is the point of all that arguing?'

The livestream viewers were laughing their heads off.

[Isn't Audie worried that one of them might try to smother the other during the night?]

[Fight! Let's fight!]

Seeing their sad faces, Audrey felt a twinge of guilt.

After pondering for a moment, she offered, "I know it's a bit unfair to make you cater to my habits. How

about I make it up to you by writing the lyrics for your new song?"

As soon as Audrey said this, the live stream chat went wild.

[Didn't Audie hear what Jake, the host, said about the rules? They can only write original songs; she can't help others write!]

[She's just showing off her skills, afraid people won't know she can write songs.]

[So what if she's just showing off? Does it bother you? If you don't like it, just leave!] The fans were sensible and mostly supported Audrey.

Leila and Yetimia were unaware of the commotion in the chat. But both of them clearly knew this behavior wasn't right, so they instinctively considered Audrey and in unison said, "No way."

Audrey was puzzled and asked, "Why can't we?"

Yelimia whispered, "The producers want original work. If you openly say you're helping us write, the other contestants' fans will surely criticize us. We just don't want to cause you trouble."

Leila added, "Yeah, Audie, just focus on yourself. I might not have much talent for songwriting, but with our mentor's help, I'm sure we can come up with something. So don't worry about us."

Realizing they were thinking of her well-being, Audrey felt a warm feeling inside.

She smiled and had them sit down, explaining seriously, "The producers only said it has to be original; they didn't say it has to be composed by the contestants themselves.

"And I'm just helping you guys with the lyrics. You can handle the music composition yourself. It doesn't really break any of the rules."

Leila nodded thoughtfully and rubbed her chin, saying, "That kind of makes sense..."

But Yelimia had another concern. "Isn't it too much pressure for you to write two sets of lyrics for us all at once? You still need time to practice your own songs."

Audrey confidently assured, "I can finish the lyrics in one night. It won't interfere with tomorrow's practice." Yelimia and Leila were both speechless.
