Ch. 506..510: Powerful Papa with Triplet Babies Chapter 506-510

Chapter 506

Anne was stunned, and she could not tell whether Tommy was being serious or not. Then, she pushed his hand away, saying, "You're so childish."

Soon after, Anne got up and said, "I'm going back to the ward. You can do whatever you want."

Then, she left.

Tommy watched as Anne left in a bad mood, but he did not know why he felt that way.

Anne did not expect Tommy to come again the next day, and he even brought supplements and fruits, raising Nigel's suspicion.

"Hello, Mr. Faye. I happened to be in Santa Nila for business, so I stopped by to visit. How's Madam Vallois doing now?" Tommy greeted Nigel.

Nigel glanced at Anne, who was glaring at Tommy, and said, "She's still unconscious, so we need to wait."

"She'll surely wake up," Tommy said.

Anne pulled Tommy over. "Come out!" When they were out, she asked, ’ What are you doing?"

"Visiting the patient. Is anything wrong with that?"

Anne thought Tommy was mad. After all, she did not feel that their relationship was that close.

"My dad will think it's weird."

"What's weird about it? Our relationship? Do you still care about that? Why are you feeling guilty?"

Tommy's barrage of questions left Anne speechless.

"Since your dad is here, have lunch with me later. You can't say no." Tommy pointed to the door. "Are you going to tell him, or do I need to do it for you?"

Anne could not believe how shameless Tommy was. "I'll go!"

When they left the hospital, Anne was still in a bad mood. When she told Nigel about the plan, Anne could tell he wanted to say more but did not.

Anne wondered when Tommy made the reservation, but she knew it was pre-planned.

Tommy took a seat and said, "Can't you be in a better mood while eating with me?"

Anne sat opposite him and said, "I have to have lunch anyway, so what's there to be unhappy about?"

"That's right." Tommy was in a good mood, and his stern expression softened.

The food was delicious, but Anne only ate what she needed. After all, Nigel would always buy delicious food for her whenever he was around.

Nonetheless, Nigel could not stay here all the time, so Anne might as well eat more when she could!

"When are you going back to Luton?" Tommy asked as they ate.

"I don't know, but maybe in a few days! I can't be away from the children for too long," Anne replied as she shoved more food into her mouth.

'What did the experts say? We can only wait until she wakes up?"

"Yes. The doctors had done all they could. There are no other symptoms now, but they said she won't recover as fast due to the cerebral hemorrhage.'

"She'll wake up. It’s only a matter of time," Tommy said. Then, when he saw Anne staring at him, he asked, 'Am I that handsome?" 1

"Why are you being so nice for no reason? Are you trying to trick me?"

Tommy recalled what he had done before and scolded, "Eat your lunch!"

There was no need for him to order her to do that. She would eat her lunch even if he did not say anything!

Anne lowered her head and continued eating.

Initially, Anne thought they would go their separate ways after eating, but

Tommy unexpectedly dragged her to go shopping again, saying it was good for digestion.

Anne was annoyed.

Tommy was also at a loss for words. Shopping with a woman? He had never done such a thing.

Lilian looked at the men and women walking side by side in the dark. It was the first time she saw Tommy shopping with a woman...and the woman was

Anne, the person she despised.

Lilian saw all of the abnormal, intimate behaviors. She thought Tommy came to Santa Nila for an errand, but it was for this?

Chapter 507

Anne only returned to the hospital at almost two in the afternoon. She was annoyed, and her feet were hurting from all the walking. If it were

not because Tommy had helped her before, Anne would already ignore him.

However, it was getting harder for Anne to understand Tommy. Why was he constantly pestering her? He was acting the same as when they

were young!

Anne found Nigel alone in the ward.

"Dad, have you eaten?’

"Yes." Nigel glanced back. "Has Tommy left?"

"Yes. I think he’s back."

"Are you close with Tommy?" Nigel was confused about their relationship.

'I used to stay with the Marwood family, so I'm quite close with him.’

"None of the Marwood family members, including Tommy, attended Bianca's engagement party. So his relationship with Anthony isn't that

good, right?"

Anne said, "I don't know, but Tommy still addresses Anthony as 'bro' or' brother' whenever they meet. I've also seen them in a bar before, so

their relationship isn't bad. After all, Anthony hates Ron, and the others are incidental."

Nigel stopped asking any more questions.

Anne added, "Dad, you should go back. You can't stay here forever."

"Don't worry. I'm not in a hurry to go back." Nigel was still angry, and he knew he could not have peace of mind back home.

Seeing that he really did not want to go home, Anne asked, "What's the matter? Are they still throwing tantrums?"

Anne thought it was about the divorce.

"Once people make the wrong choice, they'll keep making the wrong choice." Nigel looked at Sarah in a daze but quickly returned to his senses. "Let them be, and don't worry about it."

Anne had been here for several days, and it was time for her to return."

Dad, I want to go back."

"To Luton?”

"Yes. The Director wants me back at the company. It's probably about work. IV

"Go ahead, but remember to rest for a few days. I'll look after her." Nigel felt sorry for his daughter.

"Dad, do you need me to bring anything from there?"

"No. I have everything here."

Anne and Nigel had dinner together before she left by helicopter.

Standing on the top of a tall building, Lilian watched the helicopter slowly fly away. Then, she picked up the sniper rifle beside her and aimed at the helicopter.

Anne was texting the nanny, telling her that she would be home in an hour.

The kids would be delighted to hear the news too!

Suddenly, the helicopter wobbled violently, and Anne's phone fell to her feet. Immediately after, the helicopter began to shake furiously.

"What's going on?" Anne asked the pilot, clutching at the door in fright.

'I don't know. It seems that we've hit something. Oh no! The engine has failed! We're about to crash!"

"What..." Anne's face was instantly ashen.

Lilian watched the helicopter flying in the sky for a few seconds before plummeting.

As Santa Nila faced the sea, the helicopter hit the water directly and exploded into a ball of fire.

Nigel was about to wipe Sarah's body when he suddenly heard a rumbling sound. However, he thought it was happening in the distance and

did not care. It was not until he walked out of the ward and heard the passing nurses' conversation-

"I heard that a helicopter crashed."

"Are there any survivors?"

'That's impossible, right? The helicopter fell into the sea and immediately exploded!"

Nigel froze and was anxious. Then, he pulled the nurse and asked, "What did you say? What crashed? Where?"

"Over there..." The nurse pointed to the west. "The police have already been called, so they're probably there!"

The nurse looked at the pale Nigel and asked, "Are you all right?"

Chapter 508

Nigel rushed back to the ward, took out his phone, and dialed Anthony's number with his trembling hand.

"Is your helicopter still there? Can you locate it? A helicopter just crashed here. Can you check if it's yours?"

Anthony’s black eyes narrowed slightly, and without saying a word, he hung up the phone and contacted the helicopter. However, he could

not reach the helicopter or locate it.

Oliver, who was standing in front of Anthony to report on his work, saw that Anthony's face was terrifyingly gloomy. He was about to ask

about the situation when Anthony stood up suddenly and shouted, "Let's go to Santa Nila now!"

The area where the accident happened was cordoned off, and only the rescuers who salvaged the helicopter's wreckage were left in the

usually crowded wharf.

It could be seen at a glance that the few pieces of salvaged wreckage belonged to Anthony's private helicopter.

Nigel, who arrived before Anthony, asked, "Is it your helicopter? Is it?"

Anthony stood by the sea, silent, frozen in place, and motionless.

"Answer me!" Nigel flew into a rage, unable to calm himself down.

The person in charge of Santa Nila rushed over. "Mr. Marwood, you've traveled so far over here, yet I didn't have time to greet you. I'm sorry!"

"I want to see the footage." Anthony's voice was slightly hoarse, and his obsidian eyes did not have a trace of warmth, sending chills down everyone's spine. 1

With that said, Nigel had lost all hope. His strength seemed to be completely drained, and the news hit him hard.

The person in charge found the footage, and Anthony watched it in the car with Nigel.

Oliver stood by the door and said, “This footage is from the closest building, but it's still a bit far from the helicopter, so it's a little blurry."

The person in charge next to him nodded and wiped his sweat, fearing that he could no longer keep his official position after this.

Anthony ignored the commentary and stared at the footage, replaying it repeatedly. It was not only blurry, but it was also at night. Nevertheless, if Anthony did not move an inch, no one dared to persuade him to do so.

They were obviously outdoors, yet the people around Anthony felt suffocated and cold.

Anthony stared at the helicopter with his hawk-like eyes and found that it shook slightly before crashing. However, he could not tell what caused it.

Anthony’s face became colder and colder, and regardless of Nigel's presence, he threw the laptop out violently, slamming it into two halves.

Oliver's knee was scraped from the action, but he did not dare to say a word.

Nigel was stunned and a little surprised when he saw Anthony’s angry yet scary expression.

Anthony pointed to the person in charge and shouted, "Find her, dead or alive! If you can't do it, quit your position as soon as possible!"

"Yes! Yes! I'll immediately arrange a full search. Please rest assured, Mr. Marwood!" After that, the person in charge turned around and ran

away. However, he could not help but secretly complain.

What was going on? Who the hell was in the helicopter? Was that person so important? If the person was so important, why did they not

inform them in advance and let them escort them all the way? If so, it would not have caused the crash.

Anthony leaned on the seat, his face was gloomy, but his voice was still normal. Mr. Faye, you should go back first. I'll wait here. We'll

definitely find her."

Nigel saw that Anthony was full of anger, so he did not speak anymore and got out of the car. Looking at the dark sea in the distance, Nigel

became teary-eyed. First, it was Sarah, and now, Anne... He felt as if he had suffered all the hardships in this life.

Chapter 509

Nigel could not believe that the daughter he had just met...he simply could not believe it...

Nigel returned to the ward and sat beside Sarah's bed. "Sarah, l-l'm so sorry. I didn't take good care of Anne. Anne's helicopter

crashed...she'll survive, right? You're still in a coma, so how can she be at ease?"

Nigel held Sarah's hands. "She'll be fine. Anthony said they'll find her..."

He did not dare to imagine what Anne would look like when they found her

Even after a night of salvage, the helicopter's wreckage was not completely recovered, and only larger pieces were found. However, they

wanted to find the person, not the wreckage.

Nevertheless, they understood that it would be challenging to find her as the water flowing under the sea was rapid.

Since Anthony was watching over the search, none of the leaders of Santa Nila dared to sleep or even take a nap.

Oliver stared at the progress of the rescue. He knew that Anthony had slept all night, but he did not dare to persuade him to take a rest.

Was Anne so important in Anthony's heart?

Anthony lost control of his emotions, but everyone under him could only stay silent, just focusing on looking for Anne.

Oliver walked to the side of the car. Anthony was leaning against the seat, completely zoned out.

'Mr. Marwood, I think Ms. Vallois has a good chance of surviving." When Anthony looked over, Oliver bit the bullet and continued, "Ivan is a skillful pilot. If the helicopter were crashing, he'd surely have self- rescue measures. Perhaps they jumped into the sea before crashing? If there's no news now, something else may have happened, and there's a high chance of that."

Anthony's obsidian eyes moved slightly, and he immediately ordered,"

Expand the search area-lnclude the nearby residents...everyone."

’Yes." Oliver nodded slightly, then added, "Mr. Marwood, I'll go get you something to eat.'

Seeing that Anthony did not respond, Oliver just turned around and went about.

Dorothy had been waiting for Nigel's return. Seeing that he was not coming home, she took the car to Santa Nila.

She was familiar with the hospital Sarah was warded in.

Dorothy knocked on the door and entered, immediately finding Nigel staring out the window in a daze. Then, she concealed the hatred in her eyes and called Nigel softly, "Dear.'

Nigel looked at her and asked with an unwelcoming tone, "What are you doing here?"

Dorothy put the flowers and fruit on the table and said, "Can't I visit Sarah?'

Nigel was baffled by Dorothy's actions. Was she not the cause of all this?

Dorothy walked over and apologized, "I'm sorry. I reflected upon myself at home... It's my fault. I was impulsive. I'm here to see Sarah, and I hope she can wake up soon. You should be here to look after her. After all, I caused this..."

Nigel did not refute what she said. Moreover, he was physically and mentally exhausted from Anne's incident, and he was in the mood to

quarrel anymore.

'Why are you here alone? Where's Anne?" Dorothy did not see anyone else when she came in.

'...She's not here.'

Dorothy was understanding. "It's tiring to look after a patient. So it's good that you two can take turns."

Nigel's face was getting gloomier, and he was obviously in pain. He could not hide it, no matter how hard he tried.

'What’s wrong? Did something happen?" Dorothy asked worriedly.

’Nothing..."

Dorothy knew something was up. Anne cared so much about Sarah, but she was not around.

Could it be because she was here?

"Is it hard to say? Although you're going to divorce me, we're still husband and wife. Maybe I can help?" Dorothy wanted to know what had

happened.

Chapter 510

Nigel was so sad that he felt powerless and sat on the chair next to him. ’ The...the helicopter that Anne was in crashed.’

Dorothy was shocked. "Her helicopter crashed? Was she found?"

"It crashed into the sea, and no one has been found so far." Nigel lowered his head. The pain was simply unbearable.

Dorothy suppressed the joy in her heart. If Anne's helicopter crashed into the sea, was there a chance for her to survive?

Immediately after, Dorothy started putting on an act, pretending to be concerned and comforting Nigel, "Don't be so pessimistic. Maybe they

jumped off before the crash. If that's the case, they'll definitely survive."

'I thought so too, but I asked the rescuers privately, and they said the survival rate was almost nonexistent." Nigel seemed to have aged a lot

overnight.

"Don't worry. Anne is a lucky girl. She'll definitely survive this."

Even though Dorothy said that, she was secretly happy. Anne managed to dodge the bullet before, but it was impossible for her to survive

this time unless she could fly.

"Alright. Stop overthinking. It's almost noon, so let me prepare something for you to eat."

"No need..."

"Why not? Are you still mad at me? Just consider it as you're giving me a chance to make amends, okay?" Dorothy said, walking out of the ward.

As soon as Dorothy got out of the ward, she called Bianca excitedly. "I have good news!"

"I'm still sleeping...what'sthe good news?" Bianca asked feebly.

"Didn't you say Anne was on Anthony's private helicopter? Last night, it crashed and fell into the sea, and no one has found her yet."

"What!" Bianca was thrilled. "Is the news reliable? Could it be another mistake?"

"Do you know where I am now? Santa Nila. I met your dad, and he told me about this, so how could this be fake!" Dorothy was simply ecstatic.

Bianca thought and said, "The helicopter belongs to Anthony. If it crashed, he would've known. So, he didn't answer my calls last night...for this?"

"You fell asleep even though he didn't answer the phone? You're too careless!"

"He's usually so busy with work that it's not unusual for him not to answer!" Bianca argued.

"What about now? Was it because of work? It was obviously because of Anne! He didn't even answer your phone!" Dorothy was unhappy. "He's so rich and powerful. Is the crash of a helicopter worth his attention? I'm

afraid it's because Anne was in it!"

Bianca was upset by what she said. "What’s the point of saying this now? Her helicopter crashed, and wouldn't it be better if she was really dead? So what if he cares about it now? No one will try to snatch him away from me anymore!"

"That's right! I made the right decision to come to Santa Nila. There's no news about this on the Internet at all!" Dorothy said.

"Anthony must've blocked the news." Bianca could already tell.

"Sarah is in a coma, and Anne is dead. This only shows that humans shouldn't be sinful, as karma is real!" Dorothy was very proud.

"Anyway, that's it. I have to stay here and pay attention to the situation's progress from time to time. You should just stay in Luton!"

After hanging up the call, Bianca gave it a thought and decided to call Anthony. Now that she knew, it was right to comfort him.

This time, Anthony answered her call.

Bianca sounded anxious as she asked, "Anthony, my mom went to Santa Nila to find my dad, and he said Anne's helicopter crashed. Is that

true?"

"Yes."

"Oh my God..." Bianca gasped in shock. "How can that be? I thought my mom had made a mistake. Why did the plane crash? Is it possible

for someone to survive?"

"I don't know. It's still under investigation."

"Anne will be fine, just like last time. She'll get home safe, right?" Bianca asked anxiously.
