When Maurice and Corbin left, it was only then that Sean let go of the struggling Nancy.

Maurice frowned at the message from Corbin.

Gerald was not at the place Earle had arranged for him. Where could he have gone?

Maurice’s hand tightened, holding his phone as he mulled over this predicament.

“Don’t worry. I just wanted to say goodbye to you. I’m going abroad soon. You don’t need to worry about me coming to your wedding and causing trouble,”

Jonathan explained, making fun of himself.
