The Ex-Husband’s Revenge chapter 1771
Leon was sitting in the center of the Energy Convergence Circle in the backyard with his eyes closed, amid his training, while the Spiritual Pearl hovered above him in mid–air.
The powerful energy contained within the Spiritual Pearl seemed to be condensing all the purified true energy surrounding them, refracting them into flashes of green light through the Energy Convergence Circle. The green light then seeped into Leon’s body, where they were absorbed and metabolized into his training.
Leon encountered plenty of new enemies ever since arriving in the Southern region, and among them, the
Southern Boss was the one most feared and revered!
Since Iris was busy planning the new products‘ marketing schemes, Leon did not have much to do at the office, and thus decided to spend his time at home, trying to level up in his training so that he would one day -sooner rather than later–overcome his plateau!
He already used the imperial purple amethyst and the Energy Convergence Circle to condense the natural true energy into the villa, but the natural true energy from the outdoors was still far more purified than he could even make them out to be!
Therefore, apart from eating and sleeping, Leon spent all of his time sitting in the backyard, absorbing the true energy of outdoor nature to aid his training.
With the help of the Spiritual Pearl, Leon could feel that his sage arts training was growing progressively advanced and that it would not be long before he attained the Peak Foundation Phase!
As the sun began to set, Leon could gradually feel the true energy dissipating with every passing moment. It was then he decided to call it a day and got up, intending to continue his training the next day.
“What a pity! I was so close!” Leon lamented, glancing at the trees all around him with a remorseful look. After two weeks‘ worth of intensified training, he was only a stone’s throw away from attaining the Peak Foundation Phase!
If he successfully overcame his plateau, he would finally be able to use the Angel’s Fruit to reconstruct his internal circulation and attain the Golden Core Phase!
The Golden Core Phase was equivalent to the Emperor State of martial arts, and with the rest of his tricks, he would be able to defeat even warriors of the Intermediate Almighty State with no problem!
One could only imagine Leon’s excitement at the thought of this!
Unfortunately, things did not go as planned–he trained so intensely these few weeks that even the true energy of the woods depleted. The remaining true energy was barely sufficient to fuel their basic needs, and there was no longer any leftover energy for him to continue his training!
The regeneration of the true energy was too slow and could not keep up with his demands at all, and if Leon were to resume his training, he needed to wait until the true energy was replenished!
However, martial arts was not just about attaining strength–it was also all about patience and
determination. If one were to train nonstop without rest, he would easily fall into the trap and lose control of his powers!
Leon was so focused on attaining results that he neglected to care for his body amidst the intensive training, and even he was beginning to feel the after–effects of this.
Since his true energy was beginning to be depleted, it was just in time for him to slow down and take a break, which would allow him to digest what he obtained over the past few weeks.
This would prove to be beneficial to him after all!

The next morning, he was getting ready to leave with Iris for the office after having their breakfast.
“Weren’t you in the middle of your training, Leon? Aren’t you planning to do the same today?” Iris asked in surprise.
“No, I’m done with my training,” Leon replied, smiling.
“Well, what’s the outcome then? What level have you attained now?” Ruth could not help interrupting.
“Well, I’m probably at the Advanced Overlord State now,” Leon replied after some thought. After almost two weeks of intensive training, not only did he improve leaps and bounds in his sage arts training, but he also advanced quickly in his martial arts training until he successfully attained the Intermediate Supreme State, which was roughly equivalent to the Advanced Overlord State.
This placed him at a great advantage, even against warriors of the Peak Overlord State. However, if he had the Dragon Pill and the Mirror of Sovereign with him, not even Emperors would stand a chance against him!
“Advanced Overlord State? That’s insane!” Ruth pursed her lips in envy. When she first crossed paths with Leon, he was only at the Intermediate Supreme State whereas she was only a short way behind, at the Initial Supreme State.
Ruth was always regarded as a natural talent at martial arts, but even so, she only managed to attain the Semi–Overlord State just a few days ago.
Yet Leon already advanced to the Advanced Overlord State, which was a huge leap from hers!
The comparison was truly the thief of joy.
Not only that, but aside from having outstanding natural talent in marital arts, Leon seemed to always have the greatest luck in finding rare, valuable treasures that aided him greatly in his training.
With this in consideration, not even the Overlords or Emperors were in any matches against Leon at all!
This was something that Ruth envied him for, and if her guesses were correct, she would never be able to catch up to him at all!
“Wow! That’s amazing, Leon!” Iris, Cynthia, and Snow nodded in admiration.
Even the three of them managed to advance leaps and bounds in their training.
Cynthia and Snow both successfully attained the Advanced Supreme State, whereas Iris broke through to the Peak Innate State. Even so, after ingesting a Basic Pure Energy Pill, she managed to attain the Initial Supreme State!
However, in comparison, their progress was nothing compared to Leon’s.
“Iris, the four of you have improved greatly as well! As long as you keep this up, I’m sure that one day, all of you will eventually break through to the Emperor State, and perhaps even the Almighty State! Don’t think so low of yourselves!” Leon reassured them.
Now that all four of the girls attained at least the Supreme State, and Ruth even already attained the Semi- Overlord State, they would be considered the best among the best in Springfield City.
Unfortunately, they would still be no match for most warriors in the Southern region!
“Yes, you’re right! If it weren’t for you, I probably wouldn’t even have attained the Intermediate Supreme State!” Ruth said, making a face.
The rest of the girls nodded in mutual understanding. All of them were aware that Leon was the one who changed their lives altogether!
“Well, it’s getting late now, so let’s go to work!” Leon changed the subject and led the girls out of the house.

Leon, Iris, and Snow arrived at the office.
Now that Cynthion Group was properly set up and was well on the right track, Leon decided to focus more of his time and energy on Elegante Group. After establishing the Elegante Group, he would then shift his attention back to Cynthion Group.
Patience was a virtue, and nothing good came out of rushing things prematurely!
Since Leon did not return to work for a few weeks now, Iris gave him a quick briefing of the company in his office.
Elegante Group was flourishing lately–not only did they successfully tap into a new market in the Southern region, but they even soon grew to become a significantly large provider of cosmeceutical products in the region!
This far exceeded Leon’s expectations, and he was overjoyed at this.
Although he was not too adept at running a business, he could still tell that Elegante Group was going off to a strong start and had great potential to expand its market!
If things went according to plan, Elegante Group would eventually go off to become one of the largest cosmeceutical names in the Southern region based on their top–of–the–line products and great reputation!
“Thud, thud, thud!”
All of a sudden, Roanne knocked on the door and stepped into Leon’s office.
“Leon, Iris, the guards have notified me that a young lady is wishing to see you. She claims to be from Zeller Group, and wishes to talk about an opportunity to become Elegante Group’s proxy agent,” Roanne explained, smiling.
“Proxy?” Leon and Iris exchanged a glance and soon came to an understanding.
Cosmeceutical companies like Elegante Group had two means of doing business; the first method would be to work alongside large distributors, whereas the latter was to collaborate with smaller vendors, which would be the means of proxy distribution and online platforms.
Now that Elegante Group was gaining popularity in the Southern region, it was clear that Zeller Group noticed their potential and was seeking to become a proxy agent for their products!
“What do you think of this, Iris?” Leon turned to her.
“Um, I think we can sit through this meeting first! Judging by our growth, it won’t be long before other companies approach us for the same reason, and when that happens, we can have our fair share of options. for whom to go with!
“However, Elegante Group sells high–end makeup, and thus our proxy agents have to be major distributors with a strong foundation and good reputation. If not, it might reflect poorly on our company name! Therefore, I suggest we meet with this representative from Zeller Group first, and if they turn out not to be what we expected, we can always turn them down!” Iris said after some thought.
“Yes, I fully agree.” Leon nodded. Neither he nor Iris were from the Northern region and were thus not familiar with the area, so none of them were certain whether Zeller Group would meet the requirements they had. Therefore, it would be a better idea to meet with them first!
“Roanne, inform the guards and bring our guest to the lounge. I shall see her in there shortly!” Leon instructed.
“Alright,” Roanne murmured in response, then left.

Leon and Snow entered the guest lounge to meet with the president of Zeller Group, Julianna Song.
Julianna was a young, charming woman about Snow’s age, and not to mention she was easy on the eyes as well.
“Julianna, it’s you!” Snow was stunned to see her.
“Snow, what are you doing here?” Julianna was just as surprised to see her here.
“Oh, I’m the presidential assistant of Elegante Group,” Snow replied.
“I see!” Julianna stepped forward and grabbed hold of Snow’s arm in excitement, “It’s so great to see you!”
“Yes, it’s been five, maybe six years, hasn’t it?” Snow could not help lamenting.
“Do you guys know each other?” Leon was puzzled to see how close they appeared to be, even though it was their first time meeting the president of Zeller Group.
“Yes, Julianna and I went to college together,” Snow explained. She went to college in the Central region of Sky County, and Julianna was her classmate and roommate at that time. They were always close, but unfortunately, they lost touch after she returned to Springfield City.
“What a splendid coincidence!” Leon grinned. After their encounter with Gordon, he now knew that Snow went to college in Sky County, and thus was not at all surprised to see her running into another classmate in
town.
“Julianna, let me introduce you. This is our president, Mister Leon Wolf,” Snow introduced them to each other briefly.
“Nice to meet you, President Wolf. I’m Julianna Song, president of Zeller Group. It’s a pleasure to meet you,” Julianna greeted him, smiling.
“It’s great to meet you too, President Song. Please, sit.” Leon smiled, then gestured at the chair across from him.
“President Wolf, I apologize for showing up unannounced, but I intend to discuss the prospects of becoming a proxy agent for Elegante Group. I have here a folder of information regarding Zeller Group. Please feel free to flip through,” Julianna went straight to the point and handed Leon a folder of documents.
“Thank you.” Leon could not help beaming as he scanned through the documents Julianna prepared.
As he and Iris discussed, they intended to offer a few major distributors in the Southern region the opportunity to become Elegante Group’s proxy agent, to tap into the secondary business model!
Zeller Group was just the one they were looking for–they were a large, well–established distributor with a great reputation among the consumers, and fulfilled every one of their criteria!
“President Wolf, I wonder if there’s anything you’d like to say regarding our collaboration?” Julianna asked rather expectantly after waiting for Leon to finish reading.
“Yes, it sounds good to me! We can discuss the pricing and iron out the small details together, and if all sounds agreeable, Elegante Group will be happy to consider collaborating with Zeller Group!” Leon smiled but did not give her a definite answer.
“Well, that’s great! However, I have a special request to make before we jump to any conclusions,” Julianna said rather hesitantly.
“What is it?” Leon was puzzled to hear this.
“Well, Zeller Group expresses the wish to become the sole proxy agent and distributor of Elegante Group’s products,” Julianna said, revealing the true intention of her visit.

“What? Sole distributor?” the smile disappeared from Leon’s face when he heard this.
With the rate that Elegante Group was growing, he and Iris intended to work with a few distributors at once. The fact that Julianna was requesting this meant that she intended for Elegante Group to give up collaborating with other companies! This would not be working in Elegante Group’s favor at all!
“President Wolf, I know that this is a big request to ask of you, but if you’re willing to make Zeller Group the sole proxy distributor of your products, we can make a few changes in the pricing,” Julianna said earnestly. She had a natural eye for business, and although Elegante Group only began to gain popularity over the last few days, she could already tell that they had immense growth potential!
If she could get in on this before other companies did, it would no doubt be a huge advantage to Zeller Group.
However, the cake was only this big, and if Elegante Group were to collaborate with other distributors, Zeller Group would be left with the smaller slice of the cake, and this was why she wanted to convince Leon to give them the sole proprietorship!
“President Song, you know full well that this has nothing to do with the price. I can’t promise you anything,” Leon shook his head.
Since their main business model was to work with major market distributors like Hughes Group, giving the sole proprietorship to Zeller Group would undoubtedly break the bank for Elegante Group when they had the option of working with multiple proxy companies to maximize their profits!
Therefore, there was no way he could say yes to Julianna’s request!
“Please don’t be so quick to turn me down, President Wolf. The truth is, although Zeller Group holds a limited market in the Southern region, we pride ourselves on our extensive market, which spreads across the remaining four regions of Sky County. If you allow us to work with you, Zeller Group can help you expand your products into other regions of the county,” Julianna explained. She knew full well that Zeller Group would never be able to match up to Hughes Group or other major distributors in the region, but Zeller Group had a strong foundation with great resources.
One of their biggest strengths was their extensive marketing network. They would easily be able to help Elegante Group expand their market to areas outside of the Southern region, and this was something that not even Hughes Group could pull off!
“Um,” Leon could not help falling silent upon hearing this.
If Elegante Group were to flourish in Sky County, there was no doubt that he would eventually have to expand their business outside of the Southern region.
However, Elegante Group barely laid down its foundation here in the Southern region, and it did not yet have the resources to expand its business elsewhere.
If Zeller Group were to propel them ahead, this would no doubt advance leaps and bounds in their expansion, but the idea of handing over sole proprietorship to Zeller Group was unsettling.
There were pros and cons to each option, and Leon could not help getting caught in which was the best option for their situation.

“Snow!” seeing that Leon was beginning to waver, Julianna turned to glance at Snow with a pleading look.
Snow understood immediately. After a moment’s hesitation, she piped up, “Leon, Julianna’s a close friend of mine, and it’d be great if you could do her a favor.”
“Well, okay then! President Song, I’m doing this favor for Snow. I’ll hereby grant Zeller Group the sole proprietorship to carry Elegante Group products!” Leon soon came to a decision.
Now that Elegante Group just laid down its foundation in the Southern region, it had only a limited ability for production, and if Elegante Group were to work with multiple distributors at once, which included the all- powerful Hughes Group, Leon was worried that they would not be able to keep up with the demands!
Instead of this, it was better to offer Zeller Group sole proprietorship, which demanded only a little of them. Besides, Julianna would only be the proxy agent of Elegante Group in the Southern region, and by the time they expanded their business to the remaining four regions of Sky County, they could always find other distributors to help.
In conclusion, this would not have too much of an effect on Elegante Group at all!
Therefore, it would not hurt to help Julianna out just this once.
“Really? That’s amazing!” seeing that Leon relented, a smile broke out across Julianna’s face.
Of course, she knew that Snow was the only reason Leon gave into her request, and at the thought of this, she could not help casting Snow a glance of gratitude.
“Don’t get too excited just yet, President Song! I have another request–I’ll gladly hand over the sole proprietorship of Elegante Group’s products to you, but this will be limited to only the Southern region, and not applicable to the remaining four regions of Sky County or any online platforms,” Leon continued.
“Yes, I understand. All we want is a sole proprietorship in the Southern region. We’re fine with your other terms.” Julianna nodded.
“Also, we can go with the original distribution price of Elegante Group’s products. There’s no need to make any adjustments on your side, lest you lose your profits,” Leon added.
“Well, alright then. Thank you for this amazing opportunity, President Wolf.” Julianna was surprised to hear this but did not forget to thank Leon for his generosity. She already mentally prepared herself to compromise at least five points below her profit margin to agree with Elegante Group. This was the that was deemed acceptable for her and the company.

Therefore, she never once dreamed that not only would she successfully win over Leon’s business, but even manage to stick to her original profit margin–Leon had no intention of trying to mark up Elegante Group’s distribution price at all!
This far exceeded her expectations, and so one could only imagine her excitement at this.
Of course, she understood that Leon’s generosity was likely Snow’s doing, and besides that, Leon was a wise businessman with the end in mind. Therefore, he would not be too focused on the small details when they would benefit him in the long run.
At the thought of this, Julianna could not help growing even more confident of her decision to collaborate
with Elegante Group!
“Well, President Song, let’s start talking details,” Leon said, smiling.
“Yes, let’s do that,” she replied.
Then, with Leon and Snow’s help, she managed to iron out all the specifics of their deal, including the timing of distribution and details of their product supply.
With that, the two parties then signed an agreement to become official business partners!

"President Wolf, thank you-and Snow, too-for everything today. I wonder if the two of you will be free tonight for dinner? I'd like to buy dinner as a token of my thanks.* Julianna extended her invitation.
"Dinner? There's no need for that! I appreciate your kindness, President Song, but this is a business deal that will benefit both of us, so you don't have to go to so much trouble/ Leon turned her down, shaking his head.
"Don't be so quick to turn me down, President Wolf. Snow and I haven't seen each other in years, and this is also a great way for me to catch up with her over dinner/ Julianna added.
"Well/ Leon turned to glance at Snow hesitantly.
"Leon, since Julianna has kindly offered, let's go out with her. I, too, would like to catch up with her," Snow said.
"Well, alright then. Thank you for your offer, President Song!" Leon said, smiling.
"Okay, see you tonight!" Julianna grinned, then bade Leon and Snow farewell before leaving.
The Imperial Suites was one of the most luxurious five-star hotels in the Southern region, and this was where Leon and Snow were meeting Julianna for dinner.
Leon and Snow arrived at the designated time after work.
At this moment, Julianna already arrived and was waiting for them at the hotel entrance. Besides that, there was a tall, handsome man in his early thirties standing next to her. The two of them appeared to be close.
"You're here. President Wolf, Snow!* Julianna and the handsome man approached them when they arrived.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Julianna." Snow smiled at her.
"It's no bother. I arrived not too long ago/ Julianna replied, smiling. 1
"And this is-?’ a puzzled expression crossed Snow's face as she caught sight of the man next to Julianna.
"Oh, let me introduce you. This is my husband, Timothy. He's the man behind Zeller Group. Timothy, this is the president of Elegante Group, President Leon Wolf. This, on the other hand, is my old classmate from college, Snow Poole," Julianna introduced them to each other.
"Nice to finally meet you, Mister Zeller/ Leon and Snow were in awe.
Before this, they wondered why the Zellers, who were one of the oldest and most well-established families in the Southern region, would hand their company over to Julianna to handle, considering she was not even related to them. It turned out that she was none other than the wife to the heir!
"Pleasure to meet you too," Timothy replied. As the young master of the Zellers, he was raised in luxury all his life and was no doubt a man of elegance and grace.
However, when he laid eyes on gorgeous Snow, his breath could not help catching in his throat as he gazed in awe at her, his arrogant aura dissipating entirely.
"President Wolf, Snow, I've already booked a private booth in the hotel for our meal. Let's go in!" Julianna said as she led them into the building.

Leon, Julianna, and the rest slid into their seats in the hotel restaurant's private booth.
Julianna gestured for the waiters to serve their meal.
While waiting fortheir food, Leon and the rest engaged in cheerful conversation. However, Timothy seemed aloof and even somewhat distracted at times, not appearing to be interested in joining in at all.
The truth was, he was forced to attend this dinner meeting by Julianna.
On the one hand, she did so because she thought it would be more polite to invite her husband along, considering that Snow was her old friend and Leon was one of Zeller Group's most important clients.
On the other hand, after her brief interaction with Leon, Julianna could tell that he was a wise visionary who had interesting opinions about the future of his company, whereas Timothy, on the other hand, was always impatient and too ambitious for his good. Therefore, she wanted to introduce Leon to her husband in hopes that he could learn a thing or two from him.
However, this was only Julianna's idea, which Timothy did not agree to at all!
The Zellers were one of the oldest and most powerful families in the Southern region, and as the young heir to the fortune, Timothy always held high regard toward himself and did not think much of Leon and Snow at all!
Although Elegante Group steadily gained popularity over the past few days, they were still a newly-established company and had little, if any, influence in the market at all.
Julianna had a unique eye and had her sights set on Elegante Group as being a futuristic company full of potential, but Timothy did not agree; he did not think working with Elegante Group would bring many benefits to Zeller Group at all, considering they were not a local company!
If it were not for the fact that his grandfather and the other elders valued Julianna's opinions greatly because of her talent in business, he would never have entertained her insistence to work with Elegante Group at all!
This was why he acted so arrogantly toward Leon and did not give him so much as a second glance!
"What's going on with you, Timothy?" Julianna could not help asking when she sensed Timothy's strange behavior.
"Nothing, I was just thinking about something else," Timothy replied curtly.
"What is it? Are you still dreaming about Cynthion Group?" Julianna made a bold guess.
"Yes, in fact, you're right!" Timothy nodded.
"Cynthion Group?" Leon echoed as he exchanged a glance with Snow. They were both looking puzzled, trying to figure out what Timothy was thinking about.
"That's impossible! Cynthion Group's Energy Nurturing Pills are in such demand that everyone wants to get in on it, but no one can! Besides, they are so popular that they don't need any distributors to work with them! I think you should give up on trying to win them over!" Julianna advised him.
Ever since the success of Cynthion Group's sales drive, many of the ancient families in the Southern region recognized the potential of Cynthion Group's alchemical pills and were trying desperately to get a slice of this cake. They were practically fighting amongst each other to win over Cynthion Group in an attempt to obtain their proprietorship and expand their market to the other regions of Sky County!
The Zellers were no exception to this, but unfortunately, Cynthion Group's pills were in such great demand that none of the companies, not even
Zeller Group, could get their hands on their proprietorship!
Because of this, Julianna gave up on this fantasy, but she never once imagined that Timothy would still be holding onto it!

"I know that, but I heard through the grapevine a couple of days ago that Cynthion Group has manufactured a few million first-grade and second- grade Energy Nurturing Pills, which means they're highly likely to be looking for proxy distributors to work with! If we can get our hands on this, it will not be long before we monopolize the entire industry!" Timothy said, the glint returning to his eyes.
He was fully aware that the Energy Nurturing Pills were capable of aiding martial artists in their training and thus, he who controlled the Energy Nurturing Pills thereby controlled the foundation of all martial arts training!
This was no doubt a huge deal-if Zeller Group could get their hands on the sole proprietorship of these products, not only would they be filthy rich, but their reputation would also significantly improve! 1
One could only imagine the magnitude of this, and he was not willing to give up as easily as Julianna did!
"Oh!" Leon and Snow finally understood what was happening. It turned out that Timothy tried desperately to get his hands on the sole proprietorship of the Energy Nurturing Pills.
This made perfect sense-Cynthion Group was far more powerful than Elegante Group and also influenced many of the other ancient martial arts families in the city. As one of the largest proxy distributors of the Southern region, it was natural for Zeller Group to want to get their hands in on this!
However, Leon was not only the president of Elegante Group, but Cynthion Group as well.
The irony was, Timothy tried so desperately to win Cynthion Group over when the president, whom he steadily ignored up until this point, was sitting right in front of him!
Strange expressions crossed Leon and Snow's faces at this realization.
"Ring-" All of a sudden, Timothy's phone rang.
An expression of sheer joy crossed his face as soon as he got off the phone. It was as though he turned into an entirely different person altogether!
"Julianna, I have to go now. something urgent has come up!” he said, getting upto leave.
"What are you doing, Timothy? We’re in the middle of dinner, so where are you going in such a hurry?" Julianna quickly grabbed hold of him.
Leon was the most important client of Zeller Group at this moment, whereas Snow was one of her best friends in college. As the host, she and Timothy were obliged to socialize with them, but not only was Timothy acting very arrogantly, he even intended to leave halfway through dinner!
This was exceptionally rude and disrespectful to both Leon and Snow!
Julianna could not help feeling displeased at this and even began to regret her decision of inviting Timothy along.
However, it was too late now!
"Julianna, I just received some important news. Cynthion Group is finally deciding as to who they'll go with for the proprietorship of their alchemical pills! I have to go over at once before it's too late!" Timothy replied in a panic.

"What?" Leon and Snow were both stunned to hear this, but especially Leon -he never once heard Cynthia mention her intention to offer sole proprietorship of the alchemical pills to anyone!
However, on second thought, Leon recalled that he focused much of his energy recently on Elegante Group and handed the full authority of Cynthion Group to Cynthia.
Knowing her, she probably had a good reason for doing so, and he could always ask her about this in the future!
"You can't go, Timothy! I've already told you plenty of times that even if Cynthion Group finally opened up their sole proprietorship, there's no way Zeller Group can even win them over! I'd suggest you pluck your head out of the clouds and see reality for what it is!’ Julianna snapped. She knew full well that Cynthion Group was so powerful that they would not simply give out proprietorship of their products willy-nilly, especially not since there was such high demand fortheir pills.
Besides, Zeller Group was not the only proxy distributor trying to get their hands on Cynthion Group-plenty of their other competitors also had their sights set on Cynthion Group!
