“Don’t you want the contract? I have it now, so you can come take it if you can!” Leon dangled the contract before Mister Javner’s eyes mockingly.

“I don’t care who you are, but don’t think for a second that you can do whatever you want just because you can fight! I might as well tell you ahead of time, but I’m a powerful man even in the elite community and I have connections with the government and police! If you know what’s best for you, you will hand that contract over to me right now and I can consider forgiving what you’ve done, or I will make you pay!” Mister Javner roared.

Up until this very moment, Mister Javner was still determined to take the contract back and decided that he

could always deal with Leon later.

“You are going to make me pay? You? Old twat, you like slapping people, right? I’ll give you a taste of what it’s like to be slapped, then! Let’s see how you make me pay for that!” Leon sneered sarcastically, before slapping the contract against Mister Javner’s face.

Following a deafening sound, Mister Javner saw stars before him. He had never been humiliated to such an extent and covered his swollen check with blood–shot eyes.

“Just wait and see. I will have you killed!” Mister Javner roared.

“Who are you, old man? Are you blind or something?!” The young man roared angrily, before leading Mister Lynch and a few other men into the room.

The young man was the Region Manager, the second son of the Wests, Jared West.

“Mister West!” Mister Javner was shocked when he saw the young man.

“I was wondering who it was. You are the chairman of Acme Group!” Jared studied Mister Javner’s face.” How dare you, Mister Javner?! Mister Lynch here represents Westpraise Group and your employees injured him! You people have guts!”

Jared narrowed his eyes coldly in rage.

“Mister West, please forgive me. I have nothing to do with this. I didn’t know that they would do such a thing…. I’ve already fired Miss Addice and Miss Lynch to make things right for Mister Lynch…” Mister Javner explained hastily.

“It’s good that you acted quickly!” Jared snorted, the anger on his face easing. Since Mister Javner was not related to this, Jared did not intend on wasting his time on Mister Javner and directly walked toward Leon, Janice and Ava.

Mister Javner had wanted to leave, but changed his mind after seeing Jared. Not only had Leon slapped Mister Javner, he had forced Mister Javner to kneel before Ava. Mister Javner had never experienced such. humiliation before and resented Leon for it.
