Right before Harold visited, he had just drank some tea. Thinking about it, he slowly realized that Daisy must have put something to restrict his energy in the tea. It caused most of his strength to weaken. Otherwise, there was no way Jacob would have been able to stand up to his full power.
“That’s right! I had Daisy add some muscle relaxant into your tea. You should be much weaker in these two to three hours! I was worried that the effects of the medicine wouldn’t be completely activated yet, so I purposely talked to you for so long to stall for time.
