Ch. 1451..1460

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1451The woman was furious that Frank was not afraid of Joven Loom or Crown Company.

"I warned you, brat!" she snapped. "Even the Four Families of Morhen have to show the Crown Company some respect! Kneel and apologize, or you could get yourself killed!" "Wow, that's so scary," Frank replied, completely immune to her threats, even turning to level a look of contempt at Joven.

The rich kid was so drunk he was sitting limply on the road-he was exactly the type Frank despised.

At the same time, Joven was bragging, "D-Don't you know who my brother is?! He's Kain Loom, the Wild Blade of Cloudnine Sect. If you leave… I'll show you…"

Frank already had enough of the name-dropping and whipped out his phone.

He quickly called Trevor Zurich to send his people to handle the incident, while he left right away with Kat.

Even as he did, Joven was still snapping intermittently, "Get back here… Don't leave if you have the balls… Fuck…"

"Oh, calm down, Mr. Loom…" His girlfriend had to stay and take care of him since he was drunk all over the place and only snapped at Frank without really giving chase. "Are we just going to let that slide, Master Lawrence?!"

Kat was pouting unhappily, having restrained herself through the whole thing.

"It's Morhen. Still waters run deep here, and one less problem helps," Frank said, though he basically avoided a confrontation because of Kat's presence.

Kat could tell that much and nodded tamely without complaining.

They soon got to a restaurant for dinner, after which a call from Vicky Turnbull came.

"Where are you, darling?" she asked, her tone stern and devoid of her usual jovialness.

Frank was frowning in turn. "I'm with Kat in Morhen. What's up?"

"Well, I have bad news. The South Sea Crow has returned."

"What?!" Frank exclaimed so loudly he started everyone else in the restaurant.

Noticing the looks, he bowed his head in apology before quickly leaving with Kat and heading to a quiet alley.

His brow creasing, he asked, "The South Sea Crow has returned, you say?"

How was that possible? He had an agreement with his fellow apprentice Ciaran Zobel, who disappeared after she exacteel.net revenge on Zac Turnbull.

Frank had been vaguely worried about that, but he was sure that Ciaran would not go back on her word.

If anything, this return of the South Sea Crow had to be something else entirely!

And noticing Frank's surprise and confusion, Vicky became suspicious too.

"I get it," she explained. "But I'm not lying here she sent a declaration of war to Turnbull Estate a few days ago, stating that she will come to wipe us all out. And the handwriting is identical from before."

"Weird…"

Frank rubbed his chin, but he was sure that Ciaran would not lie to him since it did not work in her favor.

He then had an idea. "Could the Lionhearts be behind this?"

"I'm worried about that too." Vicky sighed. "They might be conjuring up another South Sea Crow here, but either way, it means trouble. On top of that, rumors are circulating 84120 around my extended family that you and the South Sea Crow were in league, and what happened before was a staged act to keep us distracted."

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1452-Vicky sighed. "And they're saying that you will work with the South Sea Crow to wipe us all out while we have our attention elsewhere." "You're kidding!"

Frank was left a little annoyed-those ingrates!

If Frank was determined to wipe out the Turnbulls, they would already be dead! Why would he wait until now?!

Nonetheless, it seemed that the internal discord among the Turnbulls was still rife.

After Glen Turnbull announced that the main family would be absorbing the businesses of the branch families and assimilating a large portion of human resources, the main family's authority also thinned considerably.

As more voices now had a say, that also meant more voices of dissent.

Even if Turnbulls' strength grew exponentially, the cost was all too clear.

Still, Vicky asked tentatively, "Darling, why don't you stay at Turnbull Estate for a while since you're in Morhen anyway? My uncle's been recruiting martial artists and other specialists in preparation against the South Sea Crow anyway." She was not sure if Frank was still willing to deal with the Turnbulls' mess, especially since her family could not come to an agreement among themselves.

In fact, some were even proposing to restore Vicky's engagement with Titus Lionheart.

Nonetheless, Frank replied without hesitation, "Sure."

Be it for Vicky, showing Glen his sincerity, or for Ciaran Zobel-his fellow apprentice he decided that he had to go to Turnbull Estate and find out what this return of the South Sea Crow was all about.

Not only was he bolder now with his improved abilities, but it was a good idea to have Kat stay at the Turnbull Estate, so that he could better protect her.

"Alright, I'm coming over to pick you up."

Soon after Vicky hung up, she showed up with a fiery-red sports car and took Frank and Kat to Turnbull Estate.

Having been notified earlier, Glen was on hand to receive Frank.

With him were three men and one woman, whose faces he did not recognize.

The woman was snorting in disdain as soon as she saw Frank, clearly belittling him. "That's Frank Lawrence? He doesn't have the looks and I can't sense a whiff of pure vigor from him… Is he really a martial elite?"

"Watch your manners, Kiki." The man who was clearly the group's leader rebuked her.

He had a handsome face and long hair, and carried himself with an air of superiority.

After Glen greeted Frank, he walked up and nodded politely at Frank. "Greetings, Mr. Lawrence. Til Tomek of Proud Sword Sect, at your service."

"Proud Sword Sect?"

Frank was frowning slightly despite the man's polite greeting.

He had never heard of that sect at all, so they must not be one of the South Sea's major players.

Beside Til, Kiki was already annoyed with Frank not responding. "Hey! Til is greeting you-what are you spacing out for?! And where are your manners? You're not returning his greeting?!"

"It's fine, it's fine." Glen was chuckling as he quickly pacified the tense mood, and introduced them to Frank, "These are martial elites whom I've invited from the Sonet Sea to fight against the South Sea Crow. Young Til here is a prodigy, reaching Ascendant rank in his twenties and reaching the top ten in Skyrank. He really is extraordinary."

"For sure. There's no reason to doubt Til's abilities."

Kiki snorted proudly, clearly very confident in her fellow apprentice while casting Frank a look of contempt. "The South Sea Crow clearly just some despicable character. You don't need anyone else-Til alone would be enough."

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1453-The other two male apprentices were praising Til worshipfully too.

"Exactly. We know our senior apprentice the best."

"The South Sea Crow? Even the East Sea Crow would fall under his sword."

Frank despised such obvious sycophancy, but he kept smiling for Glen and Vicky's sake.

Shaking Til's hand, he said, "Frank Lawrence… Unaffiliated at the moment."

"Oh, just look at how fake that smile is. Anyone could tell that you're nothing good already," Kiki muttered nearby.

"Are you done?!"

Kat was glaring at Kiki right then, having had enough of her constantly disparaging Frank.

"What, are you upset? Why don't we have a duel?" Kiki was certainly not afraid, even whipping out his sword while brandishing it at Kat's face.

"That's enough, Kiki!" Til snapped as he frowned and stepped between Kat and Kiki. "Watch your manners!"

Frank patted Kat's head too and smiled.

"Haha…" Glen chuckled just then. "Everyone's here under my invitation to fight against the South Sea Crow. Let's not quarrel among ourselves even before the enemy is here, shall we?" Despite his mild expression, Glen was projecting his usual air of superiority and seniority, stumping Kiki just then.

She turned away and snorted but otherwise stayed silent.

"Come on in. I've prepared dinner for everyone, and let's have a drink or two while we're at it."

While Glen ushered everyone into Turnbull Estate with a cheerful laugh, and there were no more quarrels since, Frank noticed Til sliding peeks at Vicky constantly.

As a man himself, Til's intentions were all too clear to Frank.

His expression was cool right then-it seemed that Til had other plans in mind!

To no surprise, halfway through the dinner and after offering Glen a toast, Til smiled and asked, "Mr. Turnbull, I've heard that Ms.

v.net Turnbull's engagement with Titus Lionheart has recently been annulled. May I ask if it's true as they say?"

"Hehe, indeed it is." Glen smiled and stiffened.

"Then…"

Til was hesitant, but yearning showed in his eyes as he glanced at Vicky who sat beside Frank. "In that case, may I ask if she's currently still engaged? If not, may I ask for an opportunity, with my mentoras my referee?' Glen stiffened right then and turned awkwardly towards Frank.

For his part, Frank did not hold back, and rose to his feet as he spoke quietly, "I'm sorry to tell you this, but I am currently engaged to Ms. Turnbull."

As he spoke, he sneakily caressed Vicky's thighs just to show Til.

Vicky purred softly and rolled her eyes flirtatiously at him.

Her coquettish reaction left Til gulping on the spot.

She was a testament to womankind, be it in looks and body figure, and virtually no man could withstand such temptation.

For Til, having trained for over twenty years and keeping the ladies at arm's reach, he really could not resist his inner urges after meeting Vicky.

"Oh, I see…" He turned away reluctantly, feeling a little disappointed that he stood no chance with such an enrapturing beauty.

Beside him, Kiki had to see her senior apprentice being humbled so profoundly for the first time and could not help shooting Vicky stares of jealousy. Either way, the dinner ended with that awkward vibe, after which Glen called Frank to his study.

"The South Sea Crow's declaration of war is no trifling matter," he said solemnly "Frank, you said that you both came to an agreement, and y third brother is left permanently disabled as a part of that agreement. So, why would she break her promise and return now?"

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1454-"The South Sea Crow's declaration of war is no trifling matter," Glen said solemnly. "Frank, you said that you both came to an agreement, and my third brother is left permanently disabled as a part of that agreement. So, why would she break her promise and return now?" He could not ask those questions in the open, but he certainly sounded concerned as he questioned Frank urgently now.

"I'm not sure," Frank admitted his fellow apprentice had promised him and had no reason to go back on her word.

"Are you sure?" Glen pressed.

Frank could see the suspicion in his eyes but nodded in exasperation.

It was in a businessman's nature to be suspicious, and the Turnbulls were Draconia's most successful family in trade and commerce. Words alone would never have been enough to convince Glen-the leader of said family-but Frank had nothing else to offer anyway. If anything, it was normal for Glen to be suspicious, even if he had no idea why Ciaran would resume her vendetta against the Turnbulls.

Coerced by the Lionhearts, perhaps?

Still, Glen could see that Frank was as in the dark as he was and sighed lengthily. "To be honest, I'd be relieved if it's the real South Sea Crow."

"How so?" Frank looked at him, puzzled.

Glen was briefly silent and explained, "You might not be aware, but Simon Lionheart-the current head of the Lionheart family and the chief of Volsung Sect-has reached a bottleneck in cultivation. He is in urgent need of a catalyst to improve further." "A catalyst…"

Frank mused to himself and soon realized it. "You're worried they would go all out and come for your families' spiritron vein by using the South Sea Crow as an excuse?" "Exactly."

Seeing that Frank was aware about the spiritron vein, Glen nodded and spoke plainly, "I would be less worried if it's really just the South et 19 Sea Crow coming at us for revenge. If it's the Lionhearts using her as an excuse to invade us-even butcher our family instead-that would be really troublesome for us."

we "Right now, we are in a delicate period as we rein in various branch families and assimilate their assets. There's dearly internal discord, and the South Sea Crow showing up right now is just too much of a coincidence."

Then, looking at Frank, he said, "And the way she issued a declaration of war so publicly… it's like she wants everyone to know that she wants revenge against us."

"And what's the Lionhearts' stance on the matter?" Frank asked, tapping his fingers on the table.

"They've been keeping quiet, though they've been keeping a low profile with their movements lately anyway… as if preparing for something. Glen appeared unsettled, and both men fell silent just then.

"Don't worry."

Frank looked up after a while, his eyes flashing. "With me standing watch here, I'll do something, whether the South Sea Crow's challenge is real or fake." "What if Simon Lionheart personally got involved?" Glen quickly asked a pressing question.

Frank turned silent again and frowned. "I'm sorry to say this, but I don't think I can beat Simon Lionheart as I am now."

Glen looked at him in shock. "What?! You don't think…?"

"Yes. I might have a chance at escaping, but defeating him is-"

Before he could finish, Glen had grasped his hands, his eyes widening. "No, that's not what I'm saying! You've already improved so much…?!"

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1455-Glen was scowling a little less the next day, as he received all the martial artists who were arriving at the conference hall.

Frank, Vicky, Til, and everyone else were there, just as a retainer hurried inside and announced, "We have visitors from Cloud Nine Sect asking to see you, Mr. Turnbull." "Cloudnine Sect? Already?!"

Glen exclaimed in delight. "The branch families really have some decent connections! Quick, show them in!"

"Yes, Mr. Turnbull," the retainer replied and turned to leave.

Soon, a sonorous laughter echoed from a door, as a bearded man with bulging muscles and stood over two meters tall strode in.

He was wearing shades, and he had a giant machete slung over his back, with several lackeys in tow.

The man must at least weigh over two hundred pounds, and the ground almost seemed to shake with every step he took.

In fact, the faces of many other martial artists fell when they saw that burly man.

"Wait, isn't that Kain the Wild Blade?! What's he doing here?!"

"Shit, talk about a real rogue. The man doesn't care about friend or foe when he starts getting physical!"

"Why would the Turnbulls bring in a jinx like him?!"

The martial artists' comments left Glen's smile stiffening-even he had heard of Kain Loom's reputation.

The man was known for his savagery, as he butchered people without an afterthought.

In fact, when someone from a rivaling sect insulted his brothernet Kain charged alone into that sect's enclave and bathed it in blood, leaving none alive.

While he was known to be a berserker, he really was a madman who murdered without blinking an eye.

Not only was he a member of Cloudnine Sect, he was individually strong and was halfway through Ascendant rank in his thirties, making him untouchable.

And Glen did not think that Cloudnine Sect would send Kain.

Still, he was smiling in greeting despite his panic and dissatisfaction.

Thud!

As Kain planted himself on an armchair, he kept his huge machete by his feet.

Even though he was in Glen's presence, he showed no inclination to exchange greetings.

fet Instead, his eyes flashed as he laughed, baring his fangs. "Mr. Turnbull, I'm under orders of Cloudnine Sect to help your family eliminate the South Sea Crow or whatever her name is. I hope have your permission for a delightful kill, ahahaha…"

Glen nodded and smiled politely despite his exasperation.

Kain then spotted Vicky, his eyes lighting up and widening.

Vicky was dressed in a form-fitting dress accentuating her stunning figure and with a side slit that bared her beautiful legs.

"Hey, you! Get over here and serve me tea!" He beckoned at Vicky just then, licking his lips eagerly while feeling a fire igniting in his loins.

"What magnificence!" he exclaimed with his eyes fixed on Vicky, already envisioning having her pinned beneath himself.

"Ah, apologies, Mr. Loom." Glen quickly jumped in, tensing up as he noticed Kain's feral stare at Vicky.

"This is Vicky, my niece. We have stewards on hand to serve your tea."

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1456-Kain was never known for his restraint.

And if he caused trouble because of Vicky, Frank would not just sit by and do nothing.

At that point, there would be a bloodbath in Turnbull Estate even before the South Sea Crow showed up.

But to no surprise, Glen's voice of reason was shown no respect at all.

In fact, Kain slammed his hand on the table and glared viciously at him as he bellowed, "Mr. Turnbull! I came out of the goodness of my heart to save your family, but you would spit on my grace with such terrible hospitality?! Are you belittling Cloudnine Sect or me here?!" He then stomped his foot. A chair around ten meters away exploded into countless splinters, and the other martial artists had to leap out of the way.

"Shit, Kain Loom is really as crazy as they say, causing such a mess in the Turnbulls' own home!"

"Hehe. You don't get it, do you? That guy is banking on the fact that the Turnbulls don't have martial elites to pressure Glen Turnbull."

"How despicable."

Their comments did not deter Kain, however, as he continued to stare at Vicky, his eyes studying every inch of her body without a care. The sleazy smile on his face left Vicky scowling.

"Hmph…"

Frank was naturally not about to sit by and watch while his woman was being ogled and snapped at.

However, Til Tomek of Proud Sword Sect strode out before he could, standing between Kain and Vicky with an impassive look. "My friend this is Turnbull Estate, and they are one of the Four Families of Morhen. Don't you think your behavior is disrespectful?!"

While Kain was surprised, he soon glared in rage. "Who do you think you are?! What's it to you?!"

"Til Tomek of Proud Sword Sect, at your service," Til replied, introducing himself politely as he held Kains?

glare "Your reputation precedes you, Kain the Wild Blade."

"If you know me, then fuck off and stop being an eyesore!" Kain snorted impatiently. "Another word from you, and I will kill you where you stand!"

"Hmph. I'm afraid I won't, not when you're behaving so insolently and treating Ms. Turnbull with such disrespect… And you're welcome to try and see if you could actually kill me"

With that, Til drew his sword, and a dark rift suddenly tore across the floor of the conference hall.

A streak of pure vigor shot away from the tip of Til's sword across the rift, slicing Kain's table in two.

The martial artists sitting around and watching were certainly impressed, especially with how condensed the pure vigor Til released was.

Slicing furniture ten meters away from Kain, and with such precision without hurting anyone… one would really expect nothing less from the top ten of Skyrank! "Fight! Fight! Fight!"

Some of the less tactful martial artists were even goading Til and Kain into starting a fight, just to see who was superior!

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1457-Nonetheless, Til spoke with strength and determination, "The fight against the South Sea Crow is no trifling matter. In days, my mentor and his peers will be arriving as agreed-if you still insist on impudence, friend, you'll find us less than accommodating!"

Kain was actually scowling when Til mentioned his mentor.

If he were to be honest, there was no one present whom he feared, but he was still wary of Til's mentor.

After all, every South Sea Sect would have their fair share of martial elites.

If Kain really got on Til's nerves here, he would really get into trouble when Til's mentor and his peers arrived.

No matter how he thought about it, Kain realized that he must not push Til too far.

Hence, he spread his arms as his glare abruptly turned into a hearty grin. "Hahaha! You're too serious, my friend. I've been sent by Cloudnine Sect to assist Glen Turnbull in defeating the South Sea Crow, not to start pointless fights."

Then, turning towards Glen, he said, "And I apologize for misbehaving, Mr. Turnbull."

"Oh, you don't have to." Glen threw up his hands, quick to accept the olive branch.

"Tut, tut… I really didn't expect to see this!"

"Exactly. Compelling an animal like Kain to concede? That's just amazing."

"Til Tomek must be really something…"

In the distance, Kiki, Til's junior fellow apprentice, was puffing her chest in pride amid the comments.

After all, she felt honored by extension when Til was being showered with such praise.

Then, she glanced at Frank, who was standing beside Vicky, her eyes showing disdain.

What was his problem? His woman was being teased and humiliated, but he never did a thing.

Martial elite? More like a coward!

On the other hand, Frank could certainly see what Kiki was thinking from her look but left her be she could think whatever she wanted.

However, just as things were starting to calm down, Kain chuckled and pointed at Vicky as he spoke to Glen, "Mr. Turnbull, your е niece's reputation of unmatched beauty and an enticing figure certainly precedes her. And I've even heard she even annulled her engagement with Titus Lionheart?!"

"Huh?!"

Glen was left frowning with a foreboding sensation again-that lunatic was interested in his niece now?!

Just then, Kain flashed another sleazy smile as he continued, "Hahaha.. I feel my heart itching for her so much now that I've seen her. So, allow me to ask for her hand on this auspicious day-just one day would do, or half a day, though that's my lower limit."

Behind Kain, his henchmen were guffawing, trading looks of 'if-you-know-you-know'.

Glen was left scowling in turn-what was Kain's problem?! Was he not going to give up on Vicky? Also, marrying for half a day?! What the hell?!

Til was scowling too, but before he could speak, Kain held up a hand to stop him. "This is a proper proposal to the Turnbull family, my friend. You have no reason to interfere, do you, unless you're someone of importance to Ms. Turnbull?"

Til was left stumped-even if Kain behaved despicably with his proposal, Til was not a Turnbull and had no reason to get involved.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1458-And seeing that Til had no rebuttal, Kain smugly turned toward Glen. "Hahaha… Mr. Turnbull, if you'd let the babe-I mean, Ms. Turnbull-marry me, we'd be family! That means all your troubles are mine and Cloudnine Sect's. Just think about it-you really lose nothing here."

While Kain kept yapping, Vicky strode out even before Glen could speak, snapping shortly, "Fuck off!"

The air in the room seemed to turn still at her outburst.

"Huh…"

Kain chuckled awkwardly and leaned his ears forward as if to listen closely. "I think I missed that, Ms. Turnbull. Could you repeat that?"

"I said, fuck off!" Vicky repeated bluntly, folding her arms before her chest. "Who do you think you are, some uncivilized boor asking me to marry you?!"

The conference hall was left in an uproar as Kain's face darkened, and he wheeled on Glen, "I was being sincere with my proposal, Mr. Turnbull. Don't you think that your niece is out of line?!"

"Vicky."

Glen was frowning, not keen to let Kain's antics cause further discord.

"Where did you even find that thing, Uncle Glen?"

Vicky, however, did not play along, pointing at Kain as she snapped furiously, "A piece of shit like him, stepping through our front doors, and we still have to suck up to him?! The way I see it, he should be sent back where he came from. The Turnbulls shouldn't welcome animals like him!"

"How dare you!"

A drunken man stood up behind Kain, pointing at Vicky and snapping, "Y-You bitch! Who do you think you are, snapping at my brother?! The Turnbulls are nothing! If my brother gets upset, we will kill every last one of you!"

Glen glowered right then.

While Vicky was just snapping at Kain and wanting him gone for his insolence, Kain's brother was way out of line. This was his house, and not only was Joven Loom insulting Vicky, but he was threatening to kill all of them too.

No one could tolerate that, and Glen was furious despite his usually mild temper.

That was not all either, as Glen was furious with Kain's reaction-or lack thereof.

The man was just sitting there, leering pompously at those around him without reprimanding his brother.

He clearly did not think there was anything wrong with what Joven said, and it left Glen's blood boiling.

It was not easy to reach out to the branch families and ask them to bring help, only for them to calkin' Kain Loom, the Wild Blade of Cloudnine Sect.

As soon as he stepped through that front door, he demanded Vicky to marry him and threw a hissy fit when she refused.

And then there was Kain's brother bet Joven acting as his herald, insulting Vicky and threatening to the Turnbulls. Content cre "That's enough!" Til snapped, having seen enough and ready to get physical with Kain.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1459-"Don't think for a second that I'm scared of you, Til Tomek," Kain retorted coolly. "If you really upset me, none of you will make up for it-hell, forget your mentor. No person alive can save you from me!"

"And you, Mr. Turnbull." Kain wheeled on Glen as he gloated, "I'm here under Cloudnine Sect's orders to aid you against the South Sea Crow. But if certain people push me too far, I'll side with her to wipe you all out instead. You'd best think about that." Kain's tone left Glen shaking with rage, and he was ready to call in his blackguards to take down that smug prick right then.

Kain laughed brazenly right then. "Calm down, Mr. Turnbull! Like I said, just let me have your nice for half a day, and I'll do my best to take down the South Sea Crow. It's not like you lose nothing, and there might even be a new addition to your family ten minutes later! Hahaha…"

"That's enough!" Til bellowed, pointing at Vicky as he continued, "Ms. Vicky is engaged! Give up already!"

"Really?"

Kain was only further amused. "If she is, her fiance never leapt to her defense despite everything I said, so what are you getting all uppity about? Why do you sound more concerned than him? Don't tell me that you like to watch while he gets busy? Hahaha…" Til was left with his cheeks flushed, his knuckles clenched but unable to fire a retort.

"That's enough!"

Kiki, Til's junior apprentice, leapt to her feet, wheeling on Frank while glaring at him with anger and disdain. "Frank Lawrence, was it?! That man has been insulting your fiancee to this extent, but you're just there and keeping quiet?! Can you call yourself a man when it's Til defending her honor? Go fight Kain if you can, or give her up if you don't have the balls to! Stop making Til take your fights for you! "

As everyone turned toward Frank, Frank certainly realized that his time as a mere spectator was over.

He slowly strode up, stood in front of Til, and cleared his throat.

Looking Kiki in the eye, he said, "First of all, I never asked your fellow to help me. Moreover, I couldn't get a word in when you were all so busy yapping away."

"Also…"

Frank turned toward Kain with a dark look. "I've always prioritized the big picture, and I'd rather not kill since everyone came to fight against the South Sea Crow, or it'd greatly affect morale. Don't you think she'd belaughing if we're at each other's throats even before she came?"

His reasoning fell to deaf ears, however, as Kiki scoffed. "The big picture? Pretty words, but you should just admit you don't have the balls! I really thought for a moment that you amounted to something, but it's now clear that you're just a liar running your mouth and a coward. Do you think someone like you deserves Ms. Turnbull?!"

Til did not stop Kiki from mocking Frank this time, since he had been feeling indignant himself.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1460-For all intents and purposes, Til should not be the one defending Vicky.

It should have been Frank, which was why Til was all the more disappointed in him-what man would allow another man to insult his woman... or not react at all?

And he certainly dressed his inaction pretty by saying that he was prioritizing the big picture, when in reality he was just afraid to fight Kain! Honestly, what did Vicky see in him?!

That was when Kain's brother Joven noticed Frank and pointed at him as he yelled, "Wait, it's you?! The one who crashed into my car?!" "Crashed into your car?"

Frank did a double take, but he soon remembered a closer look at Joven's face.

It was the drunkard who tailgated him last night after he and Kat Yego left the film set, and he was now accusing him of crashing into his car?! It was really a little ridiculous.

"What? Do you know him, Joven?" Kain asked, turning toward his brother.

"Yeah, it's him! He refused to apologize after he ran into my car and used his connections to get me fined, and he ran away before I knew it!"

Joven was furious right then, as he would never have allowed Frank to leave if Kain had not been busy yesterday.

"Really?" Kain growled.

He was always protective of his

own, and he was at once

incensed standing up and

brandishing his huge machete, he strode up to Frank as he growled,

"You've got balls, kid. Hitting my brother's car and running away without apologizing?"

"Running away?"

Kiki thought even more lowly of Frank right then-not only was he a coward, but he was also irresponsible!

Til thought the same too if what Joven said was true, Frank was simply despicable, and he loathed people like him the most. "What's this, Frank?"

On the other hand, Vicky was watching Frank with genuine concern.

She knew better than anyone that Frank would not use his influence to bully anyone.

"How despicable. Since you all want to know what happened, I don't mind telling you."

Frank chuckled, shaking his head as he pointed at Joven. "This man rear-ended my car yesterday, after parked itsegally. He got out, refusing to apologize and demanded that I apologize instead, and he now neglects to mention that he and his girl were drunk driving."

"Hell, he was so drunk he couldn't even stand, and I played everything by the book, only getting him fined and letting go of the fact that he threatened me... And he's now saying that I ran into him instead? Talk about being shameless and despicable."

However, his words only sent Kain flying into a rage, and he seized Frank by the collar right then. "How dare you insult my brother! I'll cut you into little pieces, believe it!" "Oh, so you're refusing to see reason?"

Contrary to everyone's expectations, Frank was smirking despite Kain's hollering and threat, not showing fear or pleading for mercy. "Did you think I was joking just now?"
