Alex looked helplessly at Sharpay who was sitting opposite him.
‘This is too blatant, right? She just made advances by using her legs!’

She then turned to Alex and smiled as she said, “Alex, there used to be some misunderstanding between us and it was all because of that woman, Claire Assex. She looked through the peephole and she was instantly shocked. It was actually her sister, Claire Assex who was at the doorstep… She cursed secretly, ‘Why the hell would this snob show up at this critical moment? I must not let her mess up my plan.’
Hence, she didn’t utter a word as if there was nobody at home. However, her phone soon rang loud and clear. Adrianna rushed toward her phone and grabbed it. She immediately silenced her phone and turned it off. However, Claire had already heard the sounds inside.

She knocked on the door loudly as she shouted, “Adrianna Bardot, what the hell are you doing inside? I can hear your phone ringing. Hurry and open up.”

Adrianna was so furious that she wanted to sew up her sister’s mouth with a needle.
‘How could she be so mean?’
‘The neighbours are all coming home from work at this time yet you’re yelling with such a loud voice. The others might have misunderstood that me, Adrianna Bardot is really having an affair. How could I continue to stay here?’ In fact, Taylor Bellamy had always been questioning his own wife’s loyalty all the time because of her beauty. She had no choice but to open the door for her.

Adrianna replied- “Nobody.”
Claire acted like a detective. “Nobody? Do you think I’m blind and I can’t see anything? Oh, is this the car key of a Porsche? Sis, did you really cheat on Taylor with a rich guy?”
Adrianna was getting anxious. She was very afraid that Claire would find out about Alex’s identity. When the time came, who knew what would happen next. So, she instantly kept her cool expression as she said, “What does it have got anything to do with you? Why are you here? Could you please leave if there’s nothing important? I’m going out soon!”
Claire was shocked. “Are you serious? Are you really seeing a man out of nowhere?”
“No. That’s Sharpay’s boyfriend.”
“Oh, Sharpay has a new boyfriend again… She really should look for someone who is more reliable. He better doesn’t be like the previous two, they were all liars! This Porsche is your future son-in-law’s?”
Adrianna rolled her eyes at her speech. She was upset after hearing Claire’s words in such a tone. She couldn’t help but want to show off.
Anyway, she thought that since Alex and her daughter had done the deed and he couldn’t run away from it anymore.
So, she smiled and said, “This car is a gift to my daughter, Sharpay from my new son-in-law! It’s worth more than two million dollars. You don’t have to worry about whether he’s reliable or not because he’s a CEO with billions of dollars’ worth of assets! His fortune will even be multiplied several times in the future!”
Upon hearing her words, Claire was shocked yet envious. “Who is it?”
Adrianna said, “You’ll find out soon.”
Meanwhile, Alex and Sharpay who were inside the room certainly heard that Claire was outside. They were shocked for different reasons but they did not want Claire to find out. Hence, both of them decided to keep quiet after making eye contact, waiting for Adrianna to make Claire leave.
However, after waiting for a minute, five minutes and even ten minutes, she still had not left.
Both of them could not just stand there.
Alex pointed at the window and thought of jumping out Sharpay was shocked, she nervously whispered, “This is the tenth floor. You’ll die if you fall from here.”
However, her voice was heard by Claire who was just outside the door. She immediately rushed over and opened the room’s door.
In the next second, she was stunned.
“Why is it you trash, Alex Rockefeller? What are you doing here? Oh, you couldn’t possibly be Sharpay’s new boyfriend, right?”

Claire was extremely dumbfounded when she saw Alex and Sharpay inside the room.

Alex sighed in his heart. Never did he expect that Claire would have reached the point that she actually opened the door.
Upon hearing those words from Claire, a hint of anger flashed inside Alex but then the feeling was immediately gone. Before the divorce, was there even a day that she didn’t scold him badly? He had gotten used to it. Hence, it didn’t cause any ripple of emotion in his heart.
