Ch. 206..210: The Rogue is a Female Alpha chapter 206-210
Back Where 206
Goddess. The Moon Goddess. As though she is here with us, blessing our mission. The sky rumbles, and the wind that rises tells me more we will have rain.
Lycannar stops his horse and turns to me, and I can’t help but smile.
“In a few minutes, it will rain. I guess this is our best chance,” he says with a wink, then dismounts sharply. He walks toward me, his finger brushing over my lap as he stares. “You stick to the plan, Zephyrine. Alright?”
I nod, my smile fading as the weight of this moment settles.
“I will.”
He says nothing more. He turns back to his horse, rubs its mane as though bidding farewell, and then sets out on foot with his twin blades. His steps are too smooth, too steady, like a man in his own world.
There is no fear in him at all. It is almost dawn, yet the sky, which should be lightening, has darkened under thick clouds. As though the Moon Goddess truly walks behind us.
Blackwater stands in the distance. I am the bait. But Lycannar goes first, just as planned.
I sit astride my horse, watching his figure fade into silhouette until he reaches the massive gate, looming and shut tight.
“Who goes there?!” A loud voice booms from the night guard. Lycannar waits, still as stone.
I don’t breathe. The gate opens. The same man who once escorted me to Stone steps out, just as before.
My heart pounds, panic threatening me,
“You are here for what?” the man asks Lycannar. But Lycannar simply watches. He never speaks to strangers. He never does,
And in a blink, while I still wonder how he’ll get past the security, Lycannar pulls a knife from his boot and flings it with merciless precision towards the guard who has spoken. It buries itself into the guard’s neck.
He drops instantly. Dead.

The man who has stepped out was stunned and he tries to flee, but Lycannar is already on him. In less than a heartbeat, he’s pinned with a blade sliding cruelly into his back.
“I will ask once, and you will answer,” my Lycan King threatens, his voice deep and ruthless. “The man in the underground, the one guarded, how do I get to him?”
The soldier gasps, struggling, his defiance shaking in his throat.
“You think you can even get past…”
Thrust.
I freeze at the sound. Lycannar drives the knife deeper, twisting it with cruelty, his other hand clamped over the man’s throat to silence any cry.
“Try again.” His demand is low, hot, merciless.
The man trembles, pain forcing truth from him.
“I… I can take you. I can’t explain it… it cannot be described. Only Stone knows the passage. I will take you. Please.”
I swallow hard. This was not part of the plan. We thought he’d reveal the way, not offer to lead him. Everything shifts.
Lycannar sighs, then turns his gaze toward me. For a heartbeat, he watches me, still as death, before turning back and dragging the soldier with him into Blackwater. Check latest chapters at find•novel.net
I breathe shakily. My turn.
I wait a moment, letting them go further. Then I spur my horse and ride into the fortress.
The walls loom, towering and impenetrable. Goosebumps prickle my skin. I lower my eyelids, reaching inward. Lycannar. I can feel him. The amulet binds us. He is not in danger.
Relief steadies me until footsteps approach. I open my eyes.
And there he is.
Stone. From the same window where his arrow once struck me.
Our eyes lock. My throat tightens.
Before I can move, his guards surround my horse, swords drawn and aimed.

“The leader will see you now,” one snarls.
I do not answer. Instead, I dismount, walking where they lead back to the same hall I entered
before.
The sight freezes me. Dessyn and Moon were right. Stone has prepared. His army fills the fortress, cruel faces, merciless eyes. All for me. But when they see I come alone, glances flicker among them, as though they’ve wasted their readiness.
I pass slaves chained in misery. Children sobbing. The stench of dread thick in the air.
At last, the doors swing open. The same bedchamber where Stone once tried to lay hands on
me.
He stands there, arms folded, a smug smirk carved across his face. Today the chamber is different, heavily guarded, no women present. He has prepared.
“You return just as you promised,” he says, stepping forward. “I thought you’d bring an army… but you’ve come alone. Have you come to be my whore?”
His breath reeks, but I choke it down. Lycannar… wait.
I feel it. A surge of power through the amulet. My blood runs cold. He is fighting.
I need time. Slowly, I raise my head, swallowing the fear.
“Do you even know who the man you’ve chained beneath your feet is?” My voice burns. “He is an Ashmere. Do you even know what that means?”
“Ashmere?” he repeats, amused. “Lineage of warriors who guarded the shifter empire from demons?”
Cold sweat dampens my skin. He shrugs.
“He is no Ashmere. If he were, why was he brought here weak, with a claw mark that never heals?”
Heat floods me. My chest tightens. What did he just say? A claw mark… that never heals?
“My brother fought in the demon wars. Likes of you will never understand what that means.”
of
“Really?” he taunts, stepping closer, voice thick with challenge. “I will fuck that confidence out
you today, little damsel. And just so you know, the gates of Blackwater will close automatically once entered. You are trapped here. Forever.”

In a flash, my knife was drawn from my side boot, in my hand, slashing as his men charge. Blood sprays. My heart pounds as throats open beneath my steel, their surprise sealing their fate.
Stone sees his men collapse, and fury flashes. He lunges for his sword.
This time, I am ready. No claw mark weakens me now.
I grip my blade tighter. This glory will be mine.
“You are dead,” Stone snarls, surging at me.
Back Where 207
Attack flares up, and my small knife clashes with his sword. I take a step back to recuperate. He is powerful. His strength is immense. I heave. I should use more of my skills than power.
I retreat another step, and he wields his blade, his teeth bared off his lips.
“You think you can really save your brother alone? You will die here. You can’t even get past a thousand soldiers. You will die in…”
He is still speaking when the sound of yelling rises, and he freezes. He rushes to the window, and there it is. Something has happened on Lycannar’s part.
Wait. Did he…?
“Stone!” A voice yells from down there. The man who had showed Lycannar the way. “Stone…”
The voice falters, then a gag, and moments later, silence. Dead. What happened?
I watch Stone’s expression as he stares down. Something must have happened or has he seen Lycannar?
“You brought someone with you,” he chokes out, turning toward me, smirking. “But you won’t be getting your brother out of that cage. You know why? Because only his own blood can break the spell.”
My heart sinks as he takes a careful step toward me.
“I can guess already the backup you brought is not one of the Ashmeres. You are but you won’t be going underground. Because you will die in here!”
He lunges again, but I counter, rush toward the window, and without thinking, leap down. I roll and land carefully, straight into Lycannar’s arms.
“It’s some kind of relic,” his voice comes urgently as he sets me down to my feet. His hands are bloodied, and the twin blades he’d hidden are held firmly. “I can’t open that cage… and he’s slowly dying.”
“Only Ashmere blood can.” The moment I say this, the massive gate of Blackwater slams shut, and a thunderous war cry rises. The soldiers.
“Let’s go!” Lycannar snaps, leading the way. I rush to grab Varyn’s sword from my horse as I
run.

He leads me through a dark hall, past bodies already sprawled in Lycannar’s wake. Just as we near the underground, footsteps echo toward us.
I turn and see soldiers rushing in. Before I can act, Lycannar pulls me behind him.
“Take the straight hall. Focus on your brother’s energy and you’ll find him.” His voice is sharp, hurried. “Go. I’ll hold them off.”
I don’t hesitate. I obey. I hurry into the dark hall, splashing as water deepens under my steps, leading into the underground where Varyn is kept.
But when I arrive, I freeze. Warriors are already there. Someone else has taken another path, and now they surround the cage. His cage.
And then I see him.
After years. After endless torment and waiting.
Bent, chained at ankles and wrists, barely himself. My heart shatters. Tears sting, but my stays steady.
blade
The first man swings at me. I counter, slicing his throat clean. He collapses at my feet, the thud making Varyn shiver. He is alive.
Alive.
Every man between us dies by my blade until at last, I stand before the cage. The relic–lock hums with ancient power.
I slash my palm open, blood dripping toward the lock when he moves.
Varyn.
Slowly, painfully, he turns, his face and eyes locking onto mine.
I shudder. Tears blur my vision. Have I failed him so much? Does he even remember me?
“Zephyr…” His voice. That broken voice.
Tears spill as the lock drinks my blood and bursts open.
Varyn collapses into my arms, and I kneel, trembling beneath the weight of what the world has
done to us.

“Zephyr?” he whispers again, his bony fingers brushing my face. I press his hand to my cheek, choking back sobs, but they fall anyway.
I am about to answer when Lycannar surges in.
“Zephyrine we need to go.” His voice is urgent, but when he sees me cradling Varyn, he softens. Official source is find•novel.net
He hurries forward, pulling off his cloak to wrap around Varyn’s frail body.
“Your horse waits outside. Take this route,” he points sharply to where the soldiers had passed, “and once you reach it you don’t wait for me. You leave. Understood?”
“I will never leave you behind.” My voice is stubborn.
“I’ll be right there with you. Go now.”
I nod firmly. He helps Varyn to his feet so he can lean on me. Then the soldiers rush in.
Lycannar’s twin blades rise and another slaughter begins.
I don’t wait. I hurry with Varyn, true to his words, my horse waiting.
I hoist Varyn up. He is dying, half–alive, breathing raggedly, but he sits the saddle. I move to mount behind him when a shove slams me against the wall.
Blood sprays from my mouth. My vision blurs. I lift my head to see him.
Stone.
Blackwater turns still with dread. Even the slaves whimper. Worse than death itself is Stone.
Varyn, an Ashmere, shudders in terror at the sight. The trauma still clings to him, unshaken through years.
“I will make you pay for daring to come into Blackwater and underestimating the power I wield here,” Stone vows, reaching for my neck.
I surge to my feet first, answering with a savage kick that staggers him back.
I use the moment, rushing to mount my horse When a whoosh of air cuts past. Lycannar.
Dripping blood, he charges for the gate.
My horse bolts after him. Hope rises. We are almost free.

A rope whips around my throat, jerking me off my horse and crashing me to the ground.
I choke, vision spinning, and through the haze, I see it.
The gate of Blackwater surging open, torn by a force I have never witnessed before. Lycannar’s power unleashed. He was about to speed out but then he freezes. Because only my brother rides free on my white horse.
“Go!” I scream, Stone yanking me back by the leash. “Go, Lycan!”
If my life is the price for Varyn’s, then so be it.
But what I never knew, what I never understood until now was how deep Lycannar’s obsession
runs.
He will not leave without me. He cannot.
The sound of his black horse gallops straight back into Blackwater.
My heart clenches.
Oh no.
He was leaving without havoc. But now, now they have awakened the Apex Predator.

The sky parted in that moment and everything turned into a blur. Rain began to fall. Suddenly, as heavily as ever, the sky cried and in it, Lycannar’s horse surged forward.

On his steed, he gripped one of his blades and hurled it ahead, forcing me to intercept and step aside so it could cut through the rope strangling my neck, freeing me.
In a rush, his hand stretched out. I caught it, and with a powerful swing he lifted me onto the horse behind him. I clung to him perfectly.
Lycannar should have ridden out now, but I held him tight to stop, and he obeyed. He listened.
“How about we do what you wanted? Set this place ablaze… so no one will ever go through what my brother did?” I whispered, and in response, he stirred the horse around, facing Stone and the armies now gathering.
There, behind Lycannar, on the horse with him, nothing ever felt so powerful, so safe.
“I was supposed to take the leader myself because he dared to touch my woman.” He spoke over his shoulder, and in reply I hugged him tighter.
“Let me make that vengeance, my love. He dies with Varyn’s sword. The rest of his armies and guards… let’s burn them alive.”
He didn’t hesitate. He obeyed my words. Dismounting from the horse, Lycannar strode toward Stone, who gritted his teeth, sword clenched in hand.
“Fight me like a man,” my king commanded.
But Stone snarled. His eyes slid toward me, seething.
“She is the one I have a problem with. If I must slaughter anyone, it’s her.”
Rain poured over us, dripping down my body. From the shadows, slaves and residents crept closer, desperate to witness how this would end,
I turned, seeing Varyn leaning on my horse, barely alive. Dismounting, I stepped forward to face Stone.
“Fine. Let’s have a fight. If I win, these people here will be set free, and Blackwater will burn.

But if you win… not only will my brother return to that underground, I will also be your

I felt Lycannar’s energy surge behind me, but I was grateful he kept his possession in check. He only walked back to his horse, folding his arms, waiting, though I knew he would interfere if I faltered.
Stone, feeling belittled, stepped closer, rain washing over the filth of his body.
“Fine,” he spat. Then he barked an order. “Bring the barrels of oil!”
My heart clenched. Oil barrels ready to ignite this place if I won. They were dragged forward, waiting.
Without warning, Stone swung his sword. I countered, our blades clashing, his pressure heavy, pressing down, testing me.
I gritted my teeth until the sight of Varyn swaying half–dead on the horse flashed in The sight of the enslaved people suffering.
my mind.
A savage punch flew at me with all his might but I waved it off just in time, forcing Stone off balance. With that opening, I struck back with the very swiftness Lycannar had once asked me about.
He had asked in Ash Pack how fast I could be. Now I answered him with action.
This fast.
My blade whirled, slicing Stone at the side of his stomach, not deep enough to kill, but enough to weigh him down.
Mercy? That is far from me.
With Varyn’s sword, I pulled out and drove it straight into his chest, bursting through every vein that kept him alive. I didn’t stop. I stabbed again and again, until he coughed blood, raised his eyes to me one last time, and collapsed at my feet.
“Stone!” one of his captains cried in horror, drawing his blade. Others followed, fury flashing, rushing at me but in retaliation, the slaves snapped.
One by one, all of them, once beaten, broken, now roared in unison. They surged at the warriors, scattering oil from the barrels, turning chaos into revolt.
Pandemonium.

I staggered back until Lycannar’s steadying hand caught me. His palm caressed my waist, grounding me gently.
“Let’s get out of here,” he murmured, and I nodded, swallowing hard.
He strode to a burning post, snatched a torch, and brought it to me.
“Go on,” he whispered in my ear. “Burn it all down. Not the ones enslaved, but the men who tried to keep you from your brother.”
As though under his spell, I raised the torch, lowering it slowly toward the ground but paused. The people were still fighting, still entangled with soldiers. If I dropped it now, they too would
burn.
I couldn’t. I wouldn’t become a mass murderer.
“Every one of you, go! Use the gate now and save yourselves!” My voice rang through the courtyard, pulling the people back from their frenzy.
They froze, turning toward me.
“Take everything you can… his riches, his wealth, all of it. Leave. You are free from Blackwater!”
Another eruption. Chaos surged again but this time with purpose. Slaves became looters, plundering the fortune of their captor, storming toward the exit.
The warriors, stunned, turned to me in fury.
“You are a mere woman. You won’t leave here alive,” their leader sneered, stepping closer with sword raised.
But I lowered the flame. Oil caught.
Fire spread.
The barrels ignited, and Blackwater became a furnace.
“Who said I am a mere woman?” My voice was low, steady. “I am an Alpha. An Ashmere, And the King’s woman.”
Flames roared. I stepped back. Lycannar was ready. My horse waited.
As the people fled through the gate with stolen wealth, Lycannar guided me to my saddle. He helped me mount behind Varyn, who slumped weakly, then mounted his own horse.

The people he had enslaved were free, thanks to him. Thanks to the king, his blades dripping blood, riding by my side as we headed for Ash Pack.
His power… his immense power… was extraordinary.
Who… is he?
Back Where 209When the massive gate of Ash Pack swung open, all and sundry stood in attention to witness the impossible become possible.
She held her brother as she dismounted from the horse, handing him over as Jurrek rushed forward, stunned but quick to take him.
The rain fell aggressively, thunder slamming above, and I lingered back a bit, trying to calm the storm, my own beasts raging, while I watched Varyn Ashmere carried away, everyone following in awe again and again.
But she didn’t move. My sister. Mearez. Her eyes fixed on me beyond the gate, waiting, her heart in her throat.
When I finally dismounted, she rushed forward, checking me, her hands running over my body for any wound. Then she froze when she saw the runes glowing on my chest.
Hurriedly, she reached under her dress and pulled out a potion.
“Drink it at once. Hurry,” she commanded, breathless, and I obeyed, gulping it down before turning away to groan. It made me hazy, forcing me to lean on my horse, head bowed to breathe.
When battling hundreds of men, there is only one way to win. Awaken the demon in me and let him revel in bloodshed. That was the only way I cut through, got to Varyn Ashmere, and stood before the cage that bound him.
And there, I had thought of ending his life, keeping the truth buried forever. But I couldn’t. Not when I felt the surge of power and connection to her, fighting Stone’s men.
I blinked now, the glow of the runes dimming until they finally went out. The rain cooled me, and then I felt her tender touch. My gaze settled on her, my eldest sister, as she rushed into my arms, kissing my lips.
“You’re safe now. You’re okay. You won’t be a threat anymore. Alright?” she said, anchoring me back to myself. I nodded, grounding again in my own skin.
When I blinked and looked around, all those I had seen as enemies, those I longed to slaughter, were revealed as the people of Ash Pack.
Mearez’s potion had brought me back.

We hurried inside, my sister following the maid who opened the bedchamber. There we found Zephyrine standing at the door, her eyes fixed on her brother lying weakly in bed.
Jurrek was beside him, but when Mearez approached, trauma seized Varyn and he began thrashing violently.
He would not stay still. And I felt it. Zephyrine’s sadness, her immense agony. She stepped back, almost frightened, until her back hit my chest and she turned at once to hug me.
I pulled her into my embrace, patting her back as Varyn screamed incoherently. Jurrek pinned him while Mearez rushed to insert a needle, her healer’s hands steady. In the chaos, Varyn’s flailing arm slashed her.
I froze cold, ready to intervene in concern but she did not give up.
The healer she was, destined to bring health to the sick and weary, Mearez pressed on. She injected the needles, calling to Blue rather than trusting the Ash wolves. Gradually, Varyn’s voice died down. Only then could Zephyrine turn, staring at him with trembling eyes, while I kept my hand steady at her back, letting her know she would never carry any burden alone.
Mearez pulled the last needle, then drew the first back out, letting dark blood seep from him. My eyes fixed on Varyn as he lay heaving.
Now I recognized him.
Staring at him, it all returned. Yes, my siblings were right. He had been on the battlefield. I had killed his father before his eyes. I had seen him mount his horse, fleeing Abyss camp at dawn. But one thing I also remembered is that I spared him from slaughter by his own kind.
I sighed shakily and was pulled back to reality when Zephyrine slipped from my hold, sniffing, retreating as though she could not bear the sight of her brother’s state. She walked toward her bedchamber, and I understood completely.
I lingered at Varyn’s doorway, watching Mearez finish. Only when Varyn drifted into sleep did she pull back, wiping sweat from her forehead.
“He will wake very soon,” she told Jurrek. “In a few minutes. He will need to clean up, and I will check on him again.”

Jurrek stared at her, then lowered his gaze to her arm where Varyn had slashed. It had not healed. His eyes snapped back to hers and she swallowed.
“I don’t heal fast from any wound. But I will be fine. That’s the burden of a true healer.”
Jurrek’s face went pale. In the next breath, he tore part of his cloth and wrapped it tenderly around her arm. Mearez’s eyes never left his.
The, I saw it between them. Love.
I lowered my gaze, heading toward Zephyrine’s chamber. We had gone to our mission with no solid plan, yet we conquered. And my sister, whether I liked it or not, had found her love.
The thought of it eased a burden in me. After being raped countless times, raised by an abusive father, forced to find cures and potions to restrain her unstable hybrid brother, the healer of both family and kingdom, she finally found love.
I pushed open Zephyrine’s door. She stood by the window, tears streaming down her cheeks, and my heart ached. Slowly she turned to me and just like the love I had seen in my sister’s eyes for Jurrek, Zephyrine’s gaze held the same.
Only hers came with the fierceness of a warrior, the kind who would break hell itself just to have me.
Back Where 210
The pack is shook momentarily by his appearance. His presence and blood were still stained in a way the rain had refused to wash away.
Varyn. He is… unstable. Traumatized, but he will heal. He is, after all, an Ashmere. That means something. That should mean something.
I lower my gaze and sigh shakily, sniffing back tears while I feel his presence right there. Lycannar. I turn gently, still trembling from the weight of it all.
I tried not to cry. I choke it back. I have to be strong. I am an Alpha. The responsibility is much. I hold myself back but one glance at him and everything shattered.
“Lycan…” I close the distance between us at once and rush into his arms.
“Let it all out. No one is here now but me. Cry however you want. You are home and I’m here,” he says softly, leaving me to obey.
I cry. Tears stream down my face while he hugs me tenderly, his hands around me
protectively. I love him. My gods, how much he means to me. How much he made me feel this safe, so safe and relieved.
His hands caress my hair while I bury my face into his chest, trembling. Gradually the sobs subside, but his hands around me only grow tender. I sniff again, shaking.
Then I pull back, just enough to look into his eyes. His thumb reaches up to wipe my tears away and he smiles softly.
“My warrior woman.” He compliments and I punch him softly, then I pull away from his arms to entwine my fingers with his.
Carefully, I pull him toward my bath chamber, stepping into the cool room with the pool covered in rose petals.
I turn back to stare at him, noticing his eyes resting now on my face, and then drifting slowly down my body, enjoying the view, the way the clothes hugged my body from the rain. My figure outlined there before him to admire because it’s all his. All his to claim.
I leave Lycannar and take a step back gently to undress. I pull down the band I use to pack my hair up into a ponytail and let it flow down over my waist.

His eyes follow the movement. I know he loves my hair down. Watching without blinking, Lycannar stares as I undress completely, tossing the clothes into the laundry basket.
Then I finally straighten just in time to see him swallow. His eyes linger on me. He doesn’t hide the fact that it has an effect on him. Lycannar never does try to hide his feelings and obsession for me.
It is as though he can’t help himself and I almost smile at his state. Slowly I walk up to him, my palm resting tenderly on his chest and, on tiptoe, I dare to kiss a king.
Our lips brush softly and gentler once more before his hand comes to tenderly wrap around my waist and he kisses me more deeply, claiming me like I am his.
I flutter my eyes closed, surrendering to the emotions that burst inside me, and I swallow. Loving him again and again, deeply as the seconds tick by.
Softly I break off the kiss to open my eyes and stare at him. I see it now. The lust. He wants me. Too much, that I know he’d go crazy if I resist. This update is available on find·novel·net
He’s hard. I can feel it. Tenderly I pull off his shirt and he allows me, following my movements without any resistance.
In no time all his clothes are down at his feet and I entwine my fingers with his, pulling him gently into the bath pool with me.
There Lycannar pins me softly to the pool wall and kisses my lips, pressing his body against mine so that he can feel my softness. His mouth tears down to my neck and trails down my breast, taking one of my nipples to give it a soft suck.
I pull my head back to tremble. My gods. What will I do without this man? What will I do?
The world seems to fade away. The distant chattering falls away. The lingering feelings of sadness and also the victorious feelings that we won return.
Just then it comes back and I feel Lycannar pull back, his lips coming to kiss my lips. Right
there, we stare at one another, in hunger, in lust and in love.
He is about to take my lips again when my voice comes softly, stopping him.
“You love me.” He pauses, his gaze on me, and I smile, almost sadly, “You love me, Lycan. Too much even though you have never said it.”
He doesn’t speak. He only stares back, quiet as always, and I bite my lower lip, as I decide to face it.

“Lycannar, you mentioned to me that when we return after the mission is accomplished, you will tell me what you want as repayment for you taking your twin blades and making use of them for the first time in five years after you swore not to go to war again.”
He swallows and shakes his head tenderly.
“It’s not a war.”
His soft, deep voice makes my body vibrate and thrill me. I nod. He makes it look so easy. His abilities belittle it all. He… he is different.
“Tell me what you want.” I finally say, my heart tightening. “Tell me what you want from me as repayment.”
I never know I am holding my breath until his eyes settle on me, fixed. Not until his gaze widens a bit and becomes more serious. He looks at me, right in the eyes for a long time in silence, then he lowers his gaze as though he can’t bear the response I’ll make after his request.
“The rest of your life,” he murmurs, then looks up gently at me. “The rest of your life, Zephyrine… give them to me and live it… as my lawfully wedded wife.”
It stops instantly. The world. My heart tightens and my breath pauses. Is he… proposing?
“Yes, I am.” He replies as though he has read my very thought. “I… I apologize I didn’t bring a ring but I have my reasons. It’s because I want you to think about it.”
His chest heaves and he sighs. When he looks back at me, I swear there is nothing as lovely as those eyes now pale gold and whole. Tears well in my eyes and I still myself so they won’t flow.
“All my life I have never wanted anything. Not the throne. Not the crown. Not to be this wealthy. But the second time I stared into your eyes… set my eyes on you… I have wanted you ever since. No woman means anything. None of the sex I have had can be compared to the one you and I had and will have. There is a hollow in me that… the gods bless my siblings who have been supportive, can’t fix. Only you can. I know it’s much to ask… living in that black tower for eternity, a place of exile for me. All I want is for you to come there and love with me till your last breath, as my wife. Take my name. I want to be your husband. The father of every pup I will give your body to bring forth. I swear to you… Zephyrine… I will give you everything. Anything. Anything at all. Just… be mine.”
Choked with too many emotions, all I can do is cry. The tears trail and I have no power to keep them away. I go into his arms and hug him, silently, stunned and shaking from everything.
