Ch. 141..145: The Vampire Prince's Blindfolded Bride Chapter 141-145
Chapter 141: To seduce me?
"Grandma wanted to kill our mother in the past. That’s why Father sent her to Elmswood on Alora’s request," Elliot informed Venus, who was on the bed. "We failed to understand our own sister," he added.
"But when did Grandma plan to do all this?" asked Venus with a confused glance. She had caught the cold, so she had a warm cup of tea in her hands.
"Even before Alora was born. The day Mother gave birth to our sister, Grandma had instructed the midwives to kill our mother later. However, they both perished thanks to our sister. This is what a Lunar Goddess, Stella, told Alora and Prince Magnus. She is the one, who blessed Alora with those eyes," Elliot explained to his sister.
Venus was upset to learn that. She never thought her grandmother would think something like this for Rhea. She sipped the remaining tea and placed the cup on the bedside table.
"So, Grandma won’t ever return," Venus inquired.
"I don’t think so. Father will go to see Grandma, but she’s not allowed to come here. If Sister Venus noticed, the hatred we carried in our hearts for our big sister was because of Grandma," Elliot opined.
"Hmm. You are right." She recalled how Madam Aubrey always told her to stay away from Alora. She used to call Alora a jinx. And she learned only to carry hate toward her sister in the process.
Elliot felt that his sister needed rest. He told her he would leave and stood up. "Take some rest," he said and he left her room.
As the doors shut, Venus blankly stared at the ceiling of her room. Silent tears escaped her eyes, which she didn’t wipe. She didn’t even realize the presence of her mother in the room unless Rhea pronounced her name.
Venus looked at her mother, forgetting that her eyes had tears. "Mother," she propped on her elbows to sit when Rhea sat in front of her. She wiped the tears from her eyes and asked Venus why was she crying. However, she didn’t get any reply from Venus.
"I brought the herbal tonic for you. The doctor said that you need to take it every evening," Rhea informed her in a soft tone. She picked up the bowl and stirred the content of the tonic inside it.
Venus took the bowl from her and chugged the tonic in one gulp. Rhea was quite surprised because Venus used to find them bitter and would always take it with something sweet. Setting the bowl on the table, Venus looked at her mother, who looked surprised.
"Living in the prison taught me to eat everything without throwing any tantrums," Venus said. "Forgive me, Mother, for always saying evil things to you. I was harsh at my own mother. I failed to understand her, and always kept negative feelings inside me," she asserted while lowering her head.
"It’s good that now your eyes are opened. Your sister was never a curse to any of us. Because of her, prosperity came into this house. A lot of good things happen. When you were born, your father got promoted while Elliot’s birth made promoted your father to the position of the High Chancellor. All my kids are equal and lucky for me. So, don’t ever compare yourself with Alora or anyone. You are unique in your own way," Rhea explained
"Does Mother still believe me?" Venus inquired to confirm again.
"Yes, I do." Rhea patted her cheek before planting a soft kiss in the center of her forehead. "I’ll put you to sleep. You need a proper rest," she stated and lay down Venus on the mattress. Rhea caressed her hair as she sat beside her daughter and helped her in sleeping.
After Venus drifted to sleep, Rhea decided to leave the room, but Venus caught her hand in her sleep. Her hold was so tight that it showed to Rhea that she wasn’t ready to let her go. Rhea also decided to remain by her daughter’s side since at this moment Venus wanted her the most.

Magnus got rid of his formal clothes and entered the pool of water. The day was tiring for him. He thought he would remain by Alora’s side, but an important work and command from his father forced him to go out.
He rested his head on the pool platform and let his body relax in the warm water. Once the heat of the water dissipated, Magnus left the pool and wiped his body well with a towel before wearing a robe.
Entering the dressing chamber, Magnus changed into a comfortable night outfit when Tobias informed him how Alora awaited his return.
"Didn’t she take the supper?" Magnus questioned.
"His Highness knows how Princess Alora acts," said Tobias with a tiny smile on his lips. "But she had her supper earlier."
"Hmm. Great!" Magnus told him goodnight and went to the bedchamber.
"I apologize for my tardiness," Magnus offered as he entered the bedchamber, his gaze immediately drawn to Alora, who was draped in a crimson robe.
His eyes lingered, unblinking, as he took in the sight: the slit in her dress revealing a tempting glimpse of her left thigh, the curves of her figure accentuated by the fabric. The sleeves of the robe hung loosely, flaring at the wrists, as her long hair cascaded down her back and over her shoulders, framing her in an aura of allure.
Alora took her lower lip in between her teeth as she began fiddling with her fingers. Her heart thumped loudly against her chest to witness his penetrating gaze at her.
"His Highness was busy today. He should drink the blood," Alora turned to the poster bed and slowly walked to the left side, where the bedside table lay.
Magnus was quick to reach her and blocked her way. "Why have you worn this kind of dress?" he asked.
"Selvina said I should try it," Alora replied, her long eyelashes blinking rapidly.
"To seduce me?" Magnus asked as he arched his eyebrow at her.
Chapter 142: Your sweet cries
"No," Alora refused and walked past him. She held the cup filled with blood and handed it to Magnus. "It must be a tiring day for you," she said, watching him drinking the blood. His thirst quenched while recuperating his energy.
She took the cup from him and wiped his mouth using the napkin in her hand. Placing the cup on the table, Alora asked Magnus if he didn’t wish to have supper.
"I can ask Tobias to tell the chefs to cook the food of your choice," Alora opined.
"I’m not hungry. Blood was enough for me," Magnus replied, drawing nearer to her. "But my appetite lies elsewhere," he whispered against her lips, his touch tracing a sensual path from her waist down to her left thigh.
"Don’t deny that you wore this dress without reason," he continued, not intending to read her thoughts but rather wanting her to confess her intentions willingly. The tension between them simmered with it.
"Umm... I was curious to find out how I would look in this night dress. I never tried it before, so I thought to try it today," she responded, not gazing directly into his eyes.
Magnus amusedly smiled to hear her responses. He lifted her chin with the support of his index finger and peered into her eyes. "Did you forget I read minds? And you are such a terrible liar that I don’t even have to read yours. Your eyes betray your mouth and so does your body," he proclaimed.
He let go of her chin and asked her to wait for him for a minute. He needed to clean his mouth with his water after having the blood.
Finally, after one minute, Magnus was back in the room. As the doors thud closed, Alora pursed her lips together and her eyelids fluttered with nervousness. The next second, she found herself being pulled into his embrace, her small frame collided with his firm one.
His lips tenderly met hers, gently nibbling as he savored the sweetness. With each beat of her heart, he felt a symphony of desire pulsating through them both. Trailing the back of his hand along her left arm, he then lifted her thigh with a gentle touch, effortlessly carrying her weight as he swiftly moved to the bed.
With practiced ease, he lowered her onto the soft mattress, allowing her body to sink into its welcoming embrace.
"Hah!" Alora gasped for air as he withdrew from the kiss. "I had a tea with Royal Mother in the evening," she said.
"I hope Mother didn’t say anything harsh to you," Magnus remarked.
"No. She didn’t. We had a joyful conversation. Royal Mother told me a lot of things. And she even made me aware how strong-headed I need to be after joining the Council," Alora disclosed to him. Her hands remained steadfast around his neck.
"She asked you to think about starting a family!?" Magnus didn’t wish to read her thoughts, but he ended up doing so.
"Yes. It will be two months for our marriage," Alora replied. "But I told Royal Mother that I have certain tasks to accomplish," she added.
"Don’t listen to Mother. She will push you into the household responsibilities. Also, I’m not ready to have kids at this time. It’s just the beginning when we both started enjoying life," Magnus truthfully told her.
"I feel the same." Alora agreed with him and pulled him down. With a smile, they kissed each other. His hand rested on her exposed thigh as he drew circles on her skin.
His lips trailed a path of desire, caressing every inch of her neck and collarbones before lavishing attention on her breast. Each nip elicited a low, sensual cry from her lips, spurring him on. Throughout the day, his emotions had been held back, but now, nothing would halt his devotion.
Descending further, he peppered her with tender kisses, each touch a testament to his adoration. Her eyes closed, her mind drifting into a haze of pleasure under his sweet ministrations, surrendering to the intoxicating sensation provided by him.
As Magnus’s lips grazed the tender flesh of her inner thigh, knots of anticipation coiled in the pit of her stomach, her back arching involuntarily in response.
An illicit cry escaped her lips, swiftly followed by a breathless moan of his name, her voice thick with desire.
Her hands tangled in his damp hair, pulling him closer, her fingers urging him to do more as she experienced a different kind of pleasure. Sensing her robe loosening, Alora’s eyes fluttered open.
With a longing for his lips, she pulled Magnus closer, her hands skillfully untying the knot on his robe, revealing his taut chest. As his hand caressed her right breast, urging her lips to meet his once more, their desire intensified, igniting a fire within them.
As her muffled moans escaped into their shared kiss, Alora found herself gradually succumbing to the allure of their intimacy, her body becoming half-exposed beneath him without her even realizing.
"Your body is eager for me, and your face... it’s utterly captivating," Magnus murmured, his eyes reflecting a mixture of desire and adoration as he gazed upon her. Alora’s cheeks flushed crimson, her arousal deepening at his words.
With a swift movement, Magnus flipped her onto her stomach, his bare chest pressing against her exposed back as he showered her shoulder with kisses. His lips left a love bite on her sweet spot, eliciting a series of moans from her lips as she pleaded with him to stop teasing her.
As Magnus tenderly fondled her breasts, her cries intensified, filling the room with a symphony of her heightened desire.
"Your sweet cries are music to my ears. Keep calling my name," Magnus whispered huskily into her ear, nibbling on her earlobe.
"Ple-please... Mag-nus!" Alora’s voice cracked with overwhelming sensation, her mind swirling with desire. Her hand instinctively moved to his neck, tilting her head as their mouths met in a heated kiss, their passion igniting like wildfire between them.
Chapter 143: Miss me the entire time
Alora woke up with a low groan. She felt a soft arm under her head and turned her head to check. It was Magnus, sleeping peacefully beside her. The memories from the last night flooded her mind and a smile appeared on her lips.
The previous night was more pleasurable for her than her previous times with him. Or should say every time it was a new experience with him? She moved her index finger to his forehead to brush away the disheveled hair from covering his forehead completely.
The moment the tip of her finger made contact with his skin, he jolted awake from his sleep. "I didn’t wish to wake you up," Alora promptly said as she curled her finger back.
Magnus planted a soft kiss in the center of her forehead. "Good morning, Love," he whispered, peering into her eyes.
"Good morning." She greeted him back and downcasted her gaze, a faint smile gracing her lips.
Magnus sat up on the mattress, making Alora propped up on her elbows. She kept hold of the blanket as she covered her body with it. "You can rest more. I exhausted you," he said as he put on his robes after getting down from the bed.
"But I don’t wish to rest. I would like to have a bath," Alora replied.
"With me?" Magnus arched his eyebrow.
"No," Alora refused.
"Why? Are you shy of your husband now? I can give you a better bath," Magnus said as he came to her side and leaned down. Holding her chin and brushing his thumb across her lips, he whispered, "You’ll enjoy it."
"You’ve to go to the council meeting today. I don’t wish to make you late because of me," Alora said. He let go of her chin, straightened up, and left.
As soon as the prince left, Selvina walked in to greet her. She provided Alora with a robe. She wore it and cinched its knot around her belly. "The bathhouse is ready for Her Highness. She can first use the washroom," Selvina humbly said.
"Hmm." Alora left the chamber while a few servants walked in to clean it.
Alora after having a bath, felt fresh and joyful. Sitting in front of the dressing table, she let Selvina comb her hair. She got ready soon and wore the gown, which Elliot gifted her.
"Your Highness, this dress perfectly fits you," Selvina complimented her looks.
"I also need to send a few gifts for all of them. Help me selecting them today after breakfast," Alora opined. It would be her first time sending presents to all of them and she was excited about it.
"Your Highness, Sir Tobias gave this to me earlier. He asked me to give you this letter," Selvina informed her, and she took it out of her dress’s pocket.
Alora took the letter from her. Although she was not fluent in reading, she could understand words. Unfolding the paper, Alora read the message written inside it.
The letter was from Zinnia and it was a thank you message with gratitude.
"Respected Princess Alora,
Thank you for releasing me from the prison. I again apologize to you for what I was going to do. I will use this chance well. In the future, if you ever need me, you can call me up. I’ll always be there in service of you.
Zinnia."
Alora took at least two minutes to read the letter and a smile carved on her lips. Her heart swelled in pride as she felt she even turned a werewolf her well-wisher.
"What does it say, Your Highness?" Selvina noticed her smile in the mirror.
"Zinnia has started her life afresh," Alora replied and rested the letter on the dressing table.
"That’s good," Selvina said, and she resumed her work.
After Alora was fully ready, she came to the dining room, where Magnus was already present, and enjoyed his usual drink. She sat on the seat closest to him, and the servant served her the food.
"Is that what Elliot gifted you, including the earrings?" Magnus queried, setting the cup on the table.
"Yes. Isn’t all this pretty?" Alora asked with her shining eyes.
"They are," Magnus answered, taking the knife and fork from her. He moved the plate toward him and cut the steaks for her. "Now, you should eat," he said, handing her the fork. He placed the knife on the table at its designated place and watched Alora eat her meals.
After she finished eating, Alora dabbed the napkin across her lips and rested it beside the plate. "I’m done. The food was delicious," she admitted and sipped the water.
Magnus had also finished the drink and told Alora he didn’t know when he would return. "The council meeting usually takes an hour to several hours," he asserted.
"No worries, Prince Magnus. I’ll not miss you," Alora said, smiling at him.
"You should miss me," Magnus stated and the two left their seats.
"The meeting is in the palace, so there’s no reason to miss Prince Magnus," Alora teased, making her way out of the dining room.
"Then, should I make you miss me?" Magnus blocked her way while arching his eyebrow at her.
"Um... How?" She was curious to know.
He ducked his head in the crook of her neck, kissing her on her exposed neck. And he showered multiple kisses there. Before she would step back, his arm was quick to hold her by her waist to draw her nearer.
"Like... this," Magnus whispered, nipping her sweet, sensitive spot.
Alora’s lips purred and she let out an eliciting moan in the presence of servants in their vicinity. She felt dizzy under his gentle ministrations when he suddenly withdrew.
"Now, you’ve to miss me the entire time," Magnus remarked with a grin across his lips. "You need to look at yourself in the mirror," he added.
Before she could answer him, he disappeared from her sight. Alora’s heart raced wildly against her chest and she ended up blushing while smiling.
Chapter 144: I’ll go insane in her absence
Magnus greeted his brothers while looking quite surprised to see Izaak in the Council Hall.
"Shouldn’t Brother Izaak be resting for a few more days?" he queried.
"I got bored lying on the bed the entire time," Izaak responded why he chose to come to the meeting rather than staying in his room.
"The twenty family leaders will be present here today. What do you think their first reaction will be?" Izaak inquired, glancing at Magnus.
"I wonder if they would dare to taunt me leaving the council at a time when the workload was heavy," Magnus remarked with a chuckle. He then gazed at Alaric. "Does the work not bore you? They do the same things all the time." He wished to know Alaric’s opinion on this too.
"I enjoy this work unlike you, Magnus. You lost the interest because you wanted something more exciting for you," Alaric stated.
"So, now, what has brought our dear younger brother back to the council?" Izaak intentionally asked in such a teasing tone.
Alaric smiled and answered, "Alora."
"But she will find it hard to adjust among them," Alaric added.
"That’s why I’ll be by her side all the time," Magnus stated and the three of them took their seats. There was still time for others to come, so the conversation went on between the brothers.
"Last day, Mother came to me, asking me to consider marrying again," Izaak shared with his brothers.
"So, whom will you marry this time?" Magnus questioned.
"I refused her," Izaak replied.
"A marriage goes the two-way. Don’t you think you should have forgiven them? Taking the life isn’t the answer all the time," Magnus suggested to him. He ended up reading Izaak’s current thoughts and realized he was heartbroken. All of them broke his heart. No one truly loved him.
For the first time, Magnus felt there was something more present in Izaak’s heart, which he had buried deep inside him.
"My wives wanted me to take over the throne quickly. They had too many expectations from me, selfish ones. I thought falling in love was a nice feeling, but with them, I realized it didn’t appear so," Izaak said, confiding with the two of them his deep emotions.
"You didn’t find the right woman then," Magnus remarked.
"I observed you and Alora," Izaak said, making Magnus furrow his brows together.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"I felt you’d be bored out of marriage just like me. But you two have a strong relationship with a deep understanding. I am surprised to see how you two have grown together, which is admirable," he asserted.
"That’s why you should wait for the right time to fall in love," Magnus stated. He was aware of how his brother engaged himself sexually later after he killed his last wife. Just a few months back, he stopped. Though Magnus always refrained from leaving comments on this behavior of Izaak, a part of him hated Izaak for this reason. He had forgotten his real personality.
"It seems Brother Izaak wants to fall in love again," Alaric said after keenly listening to him.
"Absolutely not. I enjoy my current life more," Izaak replied with a chuckle.
"Hmm. You should. The way you have made your name among the women, especially among the vampires, won’t allow anyone to come to you and fall in love with you," Magnus taunted him.
Izaak rolled his eyes. "I stopped doing that four months back. Don’t be so harsh on your elder brother with your piercing words," he asserted.
"You almost started it again in Shadowbrook," Magnus stated.
"No. I called the human to drink from her. I paid her well for that. Her father was on his deathbed, so she was in need of some money," Izaak asserted.
Alaric smiled to hear the bickerings of his two brothers when he suddenly recalled how he missed his first love even now. He remained quiet, not wanting to share his sad, one-sided feelings.
"It seems we three came earlier here than usual," Magnus remarked and thought he could have spent more time with Alora. He smiled on his own when his brothers caught that and asked him the reason behind his smile.
"Nothing," Magnus said. "Since when did these Council Members become so indiscipline and non-punctual? Seems like we have to show our strictness," he remarked.
"Don’t you know who the elder is!?" Izaak questioned him.
"How can I forget that self-narcissistic oldie? He is over 400, yet he doesn’t wish to die any sooner," Magnus asserted.
"The oldie will longer than anyone here. That’s why he is the elder. He has quite a good relationship with our father. You should feel lucky that William doesn’t have any daughter or he would have made us marry his daughter... Forcefully and would have used his authority more over the people," Izaak affirmed.
"I wish I were a human," Alaric suddenly said, bringing their attention to him.
"You missed have such a unique ability then," Izaak proclaimed. Alaric possessed the power to freeze anyone if he touched anyone. However, he hardly used it or even flaunted his power, except for a day ago when they had to stop the uncontrollable vampires.
"I think humans enjoy every phase of their lives before embracing death," Alaric stated. "We have attained an age, where we hardly find anything exciting. Magnus chose to live in Elmswood for so many years because he also lost interest in life until Alora came into his life," Alaric explained. He was a deep-thinker and would usually keep contemplating how his life would be if he were born a human.
"Well, Brother Alaric is not wrong. With Alora, my thoughts have changed. I loved being a Vampire, but now, I wish a limited life. This is the reason, I don’t wish to change her into a vampire because she will hate being not Alora anymore," Magnus asserted.
"Shouldn’t you love her even if she becomes a vampire?" Izaak confusedly asked him.
"Of course, I will. I will love her even if she becomes a vampire. But the fact is I can’t withstand tears in her eyes. I still remember when she told me it’s not fun to live a long life. Furthermore, I don’t wish to see her lie in the coffin for one whole year just to become a vampire. I’ll go insane in her absence," Magnus stated.
Chapter 145: Did you call my wife impure?
Lillian’s friends came to the palace to see Alora and greeted her. The three of them were scared at first to meet her eyes, but when Lillian told them not to feel anxious. Trusting the princess’ words, the three of them met Alora’s gaze and couldn’t stop themselves from complimenting her beautiful eyes.
"I am Irene Anderson, Your Highness. I’m the daughter of the Chancellor, Sebastian Anderson. It is a pleasure to meet you," she introduced herself with a formal bow.
"I’m Ophelia Larsen. I am the daughter of Count Matthias Larsen," she humbly said with a bow.
"I am Harriett Wallace, Your Highness. My father is the 7th Head member of the Vampire Council," she stated and curtsied her.
As the three of them were introduced to Alora, she realized all of the three belonged to pure-blooded vampire families. Magnus had explained to her that the noble vampires’ hatred for humans was even more than the royals. Now, she wondered if Lillian’s friends wanted to befriend her or if they just wanted to do formality since she was the wife of Prince Magnus.
"Alora, do you take the wine? Because we will drink that," Lillian said.
"I will take only a little," Alora responded. Lillian gestured to the servant to fill the glasses for them. Alora asked to fill only half for her since she wasn’t used to all this.
"Princess Alora, I heard that your sister was married to a werewolf. I also heard that she wanted to seduce your husband," Irene opened the conversation in a weird way, which almost caused Alora’s eyes to widen in shock.
"What? That’s not true. My sister never wanted to do such a thing," Alora clarified. She didn’t like the fact that such strange rumors were circulated among the people, not the humans, but the vampires.
"Forgive me for my tongue then. I hope Princess Alora doesn’t mind me," Irene asserted, holding the cup in her hand to drink the wine.
"I don’t mind," Alora said.
"Venus isn’t like her sister. While she is selfish, Alora is kind," Lillian chimed in.
Though she wasn’t wrong, Alora did feel bad about how her sister’s image was being tarnished by them. She knew Venus made many mistakes, one after the other, but as an elder sister, Alora couldn’t bear to hear anything against her.
"I think Princess Alora should have let Venus get punished to death," Ophelia said this time.
"We all make mistakes," Alora said. "What my sister did was truly wrong, but I couldn’t give a harsh punishment to her. Even a vampire tried to kill him by using a werewolf, however, I didn’t let Prince Magnus punish him either. None of you spoke about it with me or it seems the vampires don’t wish to show their mistakes," she remarked.
The four of them turned quiet at Alora’s words. Lillian realized that Alora got hurt, which she didn’t desire, so she told her friends not to speak about Alora’s family.
"We didn’t intend to hurt Her Highness," said Harriett. "Please forgive us," she apologized to her.
Alora hummed and held the cup, taking a sip of the wine.
~~~~~
"A human in the council?" William, the Elder, asked while arching his eyebrow. "Your Majesty, I understand that a human became a part of the royal family, however, the vampire council has a purpose to keep only our kind in it. A human’s entry in the council can’t be allowed," William objected to Alora’s entry into the council.
Along with him the other 3 elders and the remaining 16 members suggested the same to King Esmond.
"The Vampire Council may require Alora’s exceptional skill. When all the vampires failed to save Izaak, Alora did that. I have given her my word that she would become a part of the council. Moreover, in the future, Alora will be a Vampire," King Esmond tried convincing the members to let Alora join it.
Magnus glanced at his father, frowning at his last statement. However, he remained quiet, not wanting to argue about it in front of the members.
"Then, we can let Princess Alora enter after she turns into a vampire," pronounced Nathan, one of the council members.
"I think the Council Members have impaired hearing. His Majesty mentioned that Alora was given his words and she is the only exception, who will be in the Vampire Council as a human. Also, the Council isn’t working in the right way. A vampire killed a human’s family, then we were attacked on our way back to Velaris and lastly, my brother was injured," Magnus explained. It annoyed him that such oldies were the council members, who didn’t wish to change anything in the Council at all.
"Prince Magnus impure his family’s bloodline by marrying a human. He adamantly brought a human to the palace. Sadly, we members will never allow a human’s presence in the Council," William affirmed. He knew even the King couldn’t speak in front of his decision related to the Council.
"Did you call my wife impure?" Magnus’s expressions darkened and he fisted his palm.
"My humble apologies, but that’s the word we use for humans if they get married to a pure-blooded vampire," William remarked.
King Esmond didn’t want Magnus to lose his temper there, so he finally intervened. "William and other members of the Council, let’s not argue over what Alora is. The Vampire Council is directly responsible to the King. And as the King, you all should let Alora be a part of the Council," Esmond used his authority finally.
"I think, Princess Alora’s presence in the Council will truly benefit us. Moreover, she is now a part of the royal family, so Her Highness’ identity as a human should be ignored. Princess Alora is an exceptional woman with special abilities," said the second elder, Bernard, this time.
William’s argument fell weaker as the members finally agreed to let Alora be a part of the Vampire Council, but the condition was that she would be the only human there.
"Absolutely. I appreciate you all including Alora in the Council. Since it was the last topic of discussion, the meeting is now over," King Esmond asserted and was the first to leave the hall, followed by the elders.
