Ch. 36..40: The Vampire Prince's Blindfolded Bride Chapter 36-40
Chapter 36: You’ll regret this, Brother
"Dear Alora,
I heard you have married to Prince Magnus. A day will come when you’ll be the reason for his death. I hope you leave him soon."
"Your Highness, this message shows that your life has fallen into danger," Tobias said with a worried glance.
"Why did this person send a message to Alora? She cannot read and it is easy to learn because no one could go near her. This message was meant for me, not her," Magnus stated.
"I will tell about this to the respected King and the Queen," Tobias said, thinking Magnus might then think of throwing away Alora from his life.
"You won’t," Magnus asserted and put the scroll into the bottom drawer of his study desk before locking it.
"I don’t get why His Highness is so adamant about having Princess Alora in his life. Suddenly, Prince Magnus has changed completely. He was never bothered about anyone," Tobias argued. He was worried for Magnus’s life.
"My foolish brother has fallen in love, Tobias," Izaak entered the room and sat down on the chair before Magnus. "How could you become Alaric? But then, he was in love with a female vampire unlike you, who fell for a human and that too, a cursed woman," he pronounced with a smirk.
"Alora isn’t cursed. Say it one more time and–"
"This time I would not let you hit me," Izaak affirmed after interrupting Magnus in the middle. "Don’t let your life fall in danger because of a human." His tone and expression became stern. "If Alora is not cursed, then what is she? Don’t you think you have turned into a foolish man?" He raised doubts about Magnus’s behavior.
"Alora got such eyes for a reason. The reason is unknown to me. But I’ll find out soon. I’m not you, Brother Izaak, who get scared with such a message," Magnus asserted and pressed his finger against his temple.
"Explain the reason to me why she got cursed eyes," Izaak demanded an answer from him.
In a second, Magnus pulled Izaak up by grabbing the collar of his overcoat. "Don’t annoy me. And don’t call her eyes cursed." His iris turned into fiery red and his fangs showed up.
"Magnus, she has cursed eyes. You cannot deny this fact. I will tell her that her husband will die if she stays close to him," Izaak said with a grin and pushed Magnus away before running away. Magnus went after him, trying to stop him.
Izaak pushed the door of the study room and found Alora on the chair. Before their gazes could meet, he averted them.
"Prince Izaak!" Alora exclaimed and lowered her eyes before standing up. "What are you doing here?" She was puzzled to see him.
Magnus reached into the study room and stood in front of Izaak. "Leave!" he said.
"Alora should know for what I am here," Izaak asserted.
Magnus clenched his fists tightly while Alora confusedly glanced in their direction. "What does Prince Izaak want?" she again asked.
Magnus leaned close to Izaak’s ear. "If you tell her, I’m going to rip your heart off. Don’t force me to do that," he warned, his tone dripping with menace.
Rolling his eyes, Izaak begrudgingly conceded. He knew all too well that Magnus was not one to make idle threats. "You’ll regret this, Brother," he muttered. "Fine. I won’t tell her, but only if you agree to let me work alongside you," he added, bargaining for his own safety.
Alora strained to catch their conversation, but their words remained just out of reach for her.
"That will depend on how you act," Magnus whispered and turned around to look at Alora.
"Sister-in-law, my apologies for any alarm I may have caused," Izaak offered his humble apologies. "I simply wanted to share a story about my brother’s mischievous antics as a child. But seeing you’re occupied, I’ll take my leave," he suggested. With a final glance towards Magnus, he turned and departed.
Alora was still puzzled, wondering why Izaak rushed in, and then left with such a weird response.
"Did His Highness fight with his brother?" Alora asked.
"No. Why would I do that?" He came to the study desk and sat on its edge, looking at the sheet, on which she had been practicing.
"What happened between you two?" Alora changed her question.
"Nothing," Magnus replied and pulled the sheet to him. He smiled to see how beautifully she wrote those alphabets, despite being new to this.
"His Highness is hiding something from me," Alora murmured.
"You shall get a reward for what you have written," Magnus said and met her gaze.
"Really?" Alora’s breath caught in her throat as Magnus suddenly materialized in front of her, his hand gently cradling her neck.
Magnus leaned in, nibbling at her lips before pressing her against the desk with a newfound urgency. His kisses, once tender, now possessed an insatiable hunger, leaving Alora gasping for breath as he devoured her, his passion overwhelming.
Alora’s hands instinctively gripped the edge of the desk for support as she surrendered to the intensity of his embrace.
Magnus didn’t wish to lose Alora in this quest to find a cure for her eyes so that she could live normally like others. The way everyone wanted her dead, filled him with discomfort.
He felt her hands on his arms, pressing on them, and gradually withdrew, giving her enough time to breathe. When their eyes interlocked, he saw how puzzled she was at his act.
"Something did happen," Alora murmured while panting.
"No." He again captured her luscious lips, keeping the kiss tender.
Alora pressed her hands on his chest and pushed him away gently. "Your eyes cannot lie to me," she pronounced. Biting her bottom lip, she placed her hand on her cheek and caressed it. "Prince Magnus can share his worries with me. I hope he does."
He smiled to hear her and lowered her hand. "I don’t get worried. I make other people worry," he proclaimed.
Chapter 37: They are magical
"Why did Mother invite Alora to my marriage when she knew that she cannot even look? I don’t understand why Mother want to ruin such a beautiful day," Venus said annoyingly.
"Why do you speak like this toward your sister? You know well in what circumstances Alora grew up. As her sister, you should have supported her always," Rhea said while closing the boxes of necklaces after them checking them.
"Mother, tomorrow, no one will be able to enjoy because of Alora. Everyone is scared of her eyes. Also, I found nothing good in her, which could make me support her," Venus pronounced. She stood up from the vanity chair and turned around to gaze at Rhea.
"You sound just like your grandmother, and that disappoints me the most," Rhea muttered, her heart heavy with sorrow. "Alora is a selfless soul. Have you not seen how much your sister longed for the love of her siblings? Elliot never even bothered to acknowledge her existence. It breaks my heart to see my children treat their sister with such disregard."
"Mother, I’ve suffered because of Alora. And now she’s living a life of luxury in the palace. Who would have thought she’d end up as one of the prince’s wife? She’s gotten more than enough in this life, or else she wouldn’t have deserved it," Venus stated with a firm gaze. "You always prioritize Alora over me and Elliot," she lamented, feeling neglected.
"I never intended to do that. I regret my foolishness, knowing it caused Alora so much suffering," Rhea murmured, her voice heavy with remorse as she brushed away the tears welling in her eyes.
Venus rolled her eyes, feeling a pang of jealousy towards Alora. She couldn’t help but think that Alora had somehow lucked out, perhaps because of those captivating eyes of hers. Alora had managed to capture Magnus’s heart, something no other woman had achieved. The day Alora married the royal prince, a vampire no less, only fueled Venus’s envy.
Although she never dreamed to marry a vampire, but seeing Magnus with Alora, Venus felt if she could also get such kind of fortune as her sister.
They heard a knock on the door and Elliot walked in since it was open.
"Sister, Mother, I’ve double-checked all the preparations. Everything is in perfect order," Elliot announced, flashing a reassuring smile as he sensed the tension between them.
"Is this about Alora again?" Elliot inquired, noting the strained atmosphere.
"Yes. Mother has invited Alora to my wedding. I just hope nothing goes wrong tomorrow because she seems to bring negativity wherever she goes," Venus remarked bitterly.
"Venus, refrain from speaking ill of Alora. Show some restraint," Rhea admonished, her voice rising despite her reluctance to engage in conflict. "Go to bed early," she instructed and left the room.
Venus clenched her fists as her mother angered her.
"Sister Venus, I don’t think anything will happen. You should not stress yourself. Have a good night sleep," Elliot said and left the room, making sure to close the door behind him.
Venus scoffed. "Even from the werewolf attack, she got saved. It would be best if shd had died that day," she muttered.
~~~~~
Alora slipped into her nightgown and settled into bed, her gaze fixated on the door, anticipating Magnus’s arrival.
’Prince Magnus was definitely out of the place at the dining. I hope he tells me what’s going on. His eyes did tell me a different story.’
As the doors closed, Alora came out of her thoughts and she looked in Magnus’s direction. Her eyes grew big as she saw his upper body was not covered at all.
"The weather was quite warm today, even the night hasn’t cooled down much," Magnus remarked as he settled onto the mattress.
"It seemed rather normal to me, Your Highness," Alora murmured softly.
"No, the temperature was unusually high today," Magnus insisted, pulling the blanket over himself as he leaned against the headboard.
Alora kept her eyes away, feeling nervous. She fiddled with her fingers.
"Did you not like it?" Magnus asked.
"Like what?" Alora glanced at him for a moment before returning her gaze to the dressing table.
"My body, Wife," Magnus replied. An amusing smirk started forming on his lips.
Alora’s eyes stopped blinking for a few seconds. "Oh, I like it." She turned her gaze at him and smiled. Her hands were now tightly clutching the blanket’s edge.
Magnus suddenly moved close to her. "Then, why are you shying away?" He asked in a teasing tone. His arm rested around her shoulder as he clung close to her.
"Your Highness, I didn’t shy away," Alora stated and she met his gaze.
"Then," Magnus murmured as he straddled her lap, "what about this?"
Alora’s breath caught in her throat as his hands found their way to her bare arms, their faces drawing closer together. The pounding of her heart echoed in her ears, creating a symphony of anticipation and uncertainty within her.
As his fingers trailed up her arms, sending shivers down her spine, Alora’s body reacted instinctively. She felt a surge of electricity as his lips met the sensitive skin of her neck, his touch sending waves of sensation through her.
With a gentle touch, Magnus’s hand found its place on her shoulder, and Alora’s senses were overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment.
Alora now felt she was truly an innocent woman before marriage. There was something more in the marriage, which she had no idea of. When her mother said, she needed to give everything what her husband desires, she started feeling it was related to physical intimacy about which Magnus cleared her the other night.
Magnus read her thoughts and peppered kisses up her throat to her chin. He stopped right in front of her lips, which quivered as she breathed in apprehension.
"Alora, do you know what I thought when the first time I got to know about your eyes?" Magnus asked, his hand firmly rested on her back.
"That these are beautiful," Alora replied.
"That they are magical," Magnus proclaimed. "Your mother told me the woman who handed her the apple said that you’ll be protected. I think you’ve something special in you, Alora, something which makes you magical that only you can handle these eyes. Not everyone can be as good as you are," he affirmed with an affectionate gaze
Chapter 38: Your imagination is wild
Alora’s eyes welled up in tears to hear what Magnus said to her. She hugged him tightly while shutting her eyes close.
"Are you crying?" Magnus asked, his hand moved to her back, caressing it. However, she shook her head. Her warm tears trailed off her cheeks and the teardrops touched his cold skin. He gently pushed her away.
"I didn’t scold you, then why do you cry?" His thumbs moved to her cheeks as he wiped those tears.
"Only Prince Magnus depicts the different meaning of my eyes." From the back of her palm, she wiped the tears from her eyes. "I thought vampires were emotionless. They don’t understand humans. But I was so wrong. Even the humans couldn’t understand me. However, His Highness does. I’m grateful to have him as my husband." Her eyes were still misty, and her nose turned red.
"I told you not to cry in front of me. It annoys me," Magnus murmured, brushing his thumbs gently across her cheeks. With a deft movement, he flipped her onto the soft mattress, hovering over her.
Alora’s racing heart drowned out any thoughts of tears as Magnus took her hand in his, guiding it to his cheek. As she tenderly caressed his skin, he spoke softly, "I want you to be strong. You’re too soft, Alora. I hope you can cultivate your inner strength over time."
"I understand," Alora replied, lifting her head to kiss him, unaware of the desire her touch stirred within Magnus. Their lips met in a tender exchange, her feather-soft kisses eliciting a smile from him. He parted his lips, inviting her deeper into the embrace.
As their kiss deepened, Alora’s hand moved instinctively from Magnus’s bare shoulder to the nape of his neck. In the heat of the moment, her left knee lifted in the air, causing her nightdress to slip up her leg.
Feeling her skin against his cold touch, Magnus placed his hand on her leg, sending a shiver down her spine as she instinctively pulled away from the kiss. Her eyes widened in surprise as she witnessed the sudden change in his eye color, blinking rapidly in astonishment.
"What? Do you wish me to stop?" Magnus asked, the fingers of his left hand gently toying with strands of her hair as his right hand remained on her leg.
Alora hesitated for a moment before responding, "Your hand is on my leg."
"Yes, it is. Would you like me to move it higher?" Magnus inquired, his tone suggestive.
"W-where?" Alora stammered, feeling a flush of heat rise to her cheeks.
"To your thigh," Magnus answered, his voice low and husky, "and then..." He paused, observing her reaction carefully.
"And then?" Alora’s voice trembled with anticipation.
"Think," Magnus urged softly, his gaze intense.
Alora’s throat felt dry as she gulped nervously, her fingers fidgeting with the strands of his hair as they rested on his nape.
"I don’t know... Perhaps to my arm," Alora responded in a soft voice, her brows knit together in uncertainty.
Magnus smiled at her response, a glint of amusement in his eyes was evident. He leaned in to kiss the top of her forehead before slowly moving away from her. With a gentle sigh, he settled beside her, leaving Alora to ponder her feelings and thoughts in the wake of their intimate moment.
"You are sweet," Magnus remarked, gently pinching her cheek before resting his chin on her shoulder, his arm still wrapped around her.
Alora turned her head to meet his gaze. "His Highness is also sweet," she replied with a smile, feeling a warmth spread through her despite her drowsiness. A yawn escaped her lips as she settled against him, feeling content and safe in his embrace.
As her breathing grew steady and her body relaxed, Alora’s eyes slowly closed, and she drifted into a deep slumber.
"Such a mesmerizing woman you are," Magnus whispered, his voice barely audible in the quiet of the room. "I’ll make sure to provide you with everything you’ve always yearned for," he vowed softly, his words filled with determination and affection as he watched over her sleeping form.
~~~~~
The next morning, Alora woke up feeling a sense of excitement coursing through her veins. Today was her sister’s wedding day, and she couldn’t help but feel delighted at the prospect of celebrating such a joyous occasion.
As she turned around, Alora’s gaze fell upon Magnus, who was seated with his head resting against the headboard.
"When did His Highness wake up?" Alora inquired, sitting up and her hand resting on the mattress.
"About an hour ago," Magnus replied, meeting her gaze. "Come and bathe with me," he suggested, his tone inviting. "I’ve been waiting for you to wake up."
"What?" Alora thought she heard something wrong.
"I already said," Magnus put his feet on the floor.
"Why not? Is there a problem in that?" Magnus teased, his tone playful as he looked down at Alora.
"I just want to sleep for another hour," Alora replied quickly, lying down and pulling the blanket tightly around herself. She placed a hand over her chest, feeling her heart racing in her chest like it was running a marathon.
"What were you imagining, Alora? I could practically read your thoughts. You’re quite the naughty woman," Magnus continued to tease, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he swiftly reached her.
"I didn’t think anything, Your Highness," Alora insisted, feeling her cheeks flush with embarrassment.
"Oh, but you did. You were imagining tracing your fingers over my chest, exploring my body, and wanting me to do the same to you," Magnus affirmed, a playful grin spreading across his lips.
"What? No! Why would I think that?" Alora protested, her voice filled with disbelief as she tried to deny the suggestive thoughts Magnus had picked up on.
"Then, why are you hiding inside the blanket? Face me," Magnus stated.
Alora pulled down the blanket slowly and met his gaze.
"Your cheeks have turned red. Your imagination is wild, Wife," Magnus pronounced, his teasing didn’t stop there.
Chapter 39: Do you want me to stop?
Alora dressed in a maroon off-shoulder gown that accentuated her figure. As she adorned herself with earrings and a delicate gold chain featuring a small pendant, her eyes met Magnus’s reflection in the mirror.
"Stay seated," Magnus instructed, his voice firm yet gentle, as he approached her with purposeful strides.
His hand came to rest on her shoulders, and a warm smile graced his lips. "You look stunning," Magnus complimented her sincerely, his gaze filled with admiration.
"Thank you," Alora replied with a smile, though her heart fluttered nervously as Magnus’s fingers gently caressed her shoulders, sending shivers down her spine. She fidgeted with her fingers, feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension about Magnus’s intentions.
"To worship you and make love to you," Magnus answered as he read her thoughts, his voice soft yet filled with a deep intensity.
"What?" Alora’s eyes widened in disbelief, her heart pounding wildly in her chest. She couldn’t tear her gaze away from him, feeling a rush of emotions coursing through her. Finally, her eyes lowered, overwhelmed by his unexpected declaration.
"How will His Highness do that?" Alora inquired, her curiosity piqued as she rose to her feet. She felt Magnus’s hands on her arms now, and he planted a tender kiss on her shoulder.
"Do you wish to know now?" Magnus asked, his voice laced with a hint of anticipation.
"Yes," Alora responded, her voice barely above a whisper, her heart still racing with nervousness.
As Magnus’s lips trailed kisses along her neck, Alora tightly clutched her gown, feeling a wave of pleasure coursing through her. The kisses grew more fervent, eliciting soft moans of pleasure from her lips as she surrendered to the intoxicating sensation.
His hand sensually traced the curve of her body, causing Alora’s breath to hitch in her throat. "Your Highness, wh-what are you doing?" she stammered, her voice trembling with anticipation and apprehension, feeling his fingers delicately caressing her breast over the fabric of her dress.
"Do you want me to stop?" He murmured, his breath hot against her skin as he nipped at the sensitive spot just below her ear.
Alora bit her lip hard, a sharp intake of breath escaping her mouth as her chest rose and fell with each electrifying touch. Her thoughts ceased to exist as her mind was overwhelmed by the sensations caused by Magnus’s gentle ministrations on her body.
And finally, that sweet torture stopped as his hand was now on her belly. His lips no longer kissed her neck, but his nose nuzzled it. "Alora, did you like it?" His eyes met hers through the mirror as his chin rested on her bare shoulder while anticipating the response.
"It was different from what I’ve usually experienced so far," Alora truthfully answered. "I like it," she said, keeping her gaze fixed on him.
Magnus smiled and he picked up the brush to comb her hair.
"I can do it myself, Your Highness," Alora said.
"Magnus. Call me Magnus," he pronounced, interlocking his gaze with her once again. "I’ve heard my name from your mouth only once: when I drank for the first time from you," he stated.
"Magnus," Alora whispered, making him smile.
"You have such beautiful hair, so smooth and silky," he asserted, placing the brush on the table. With gentle hands, he guided her to face him, cradling her neck tenderly. "Alora, there’s so much more I want to do with you. But I’m proceeding slowly because of your innocence," he whispered against her lips.
"You can do whatever you wish," Alora said.
Leaning in closer, he claimed her lips, and she responded eagerly until they were interrupted by a knock at the door.
"Someone’s at the door," she said, pulling away abruptly from the kiss.
"Let Tobias wait. He troubles us at the wrong time." Magnus continued the kiss, his arm securely wrapped around her waist as he pulled her close. She reciprocated with equal fervor, matching his pace. Her hand rested on the side of his neck, and she tilted her head this time to give him the perfect angle to kiss her.
They finally withdrew slowly, peering at each other. His thumb ran over her lips. "It is the time we shall leave," he took a step away while holding her hand firmly.
"My blindfold. I need to wear it," Alora said.
"I don’t wish to see you in the blindfold," Magnus asserted.
"It’s my sister’s marriage. I cannot attend it without the blindfold," Alora answered.
Magnus was upset to see her in a blindfold. Even in their marriage, he had to see her in the blindfold. He held her hand and then took her outside.
Izaak quickly left his seat from the living room’s sofa, as he saw his brother and sister-in-law descending the stairs. "I will also attend the marriage with you," he pronounced with enthusiasm.
"No, Brother Izaak," Magnus said as they reached the bottom of the stairs. "You won’t accompany us," he clarified to him.
"Alora, can I not really come to your sister’s marriage?" Izaak queried. "Don’t do this to me. I’ll get bored the entire day here," he added.
"Ignore him. Also, if you are bored then you should clear your pending work," Magnus told her and was ready to take her ahead when she stopped him.
"I think we should not stop Prince Izaak from accompanying us," Alora opined.
He surrendered in front of her decision while Izaak happily walked toward them. "Alora, thank you for letting me come with you two."
They headed to the carriage, where Alora settled inside first and Magnus closed its door from outside.
"Izaak, there will be humans. So, keep your thirst in control and keep your eyes away from the women there," Magnus warned him.
"I understand," Izaak stated. "I’m not going to create any havoc there," he assured. Magnus hummed and got into the same carriage as Alora.
Tobias asked Izaak to get into the second carriage. After they were all seated, they headed to the Wilson Family home, ready to witness Venus’s marriage.
Chapter 40: I love Alora
Magnus assisted his wife as they alighted from the carriage, Norman and Rhea already waiting to welcome them. With warm greetings exchanged, Magnus introduced his eldest brother to them.
"Please, come inside," Norman said politely, gesturing for them to follow. Together with Rhea, they led the way to the grand garden where the marriage ceremony would take place.
As they took their seats at the front, Rhea asked them what they would like to take. She even stopped a servant with a tray full of glasses of water.
"We both won’t take anything. However, Alora needs to drink water," Magnus stated.
Rhea handed the glass of water to her daughter. Once Alora finished drinking, she gave the glass back to her mother. "Do you wish to talk to Venus?" Rhea asked.
Magnus knew Alora would not refuse for it, but she did.
"Oh, why?" Rhea inquired.
"Venus may get upset to see me," Alora said in a low voice.
Rhea felt low to hear that, but in front of the princes, she didn’t speak. She had to excuse herself because Madam Aubrey called her and she went into the house.
"Why did Sister-in-law refuse to see his sister? Is it because she isn’t well accepted by her own sister?" Izaak’s curiosity prompted him to ask.
"Brother, it’s best to keep your curiosity to yourself," Magnus replied firmly.
Izaak rolled his eyes because Magnus didn’t allow him to know the reason. "I’ll be back soon," he announced and rose to his feet.
"Don’t create trouble. It’s Alora’s house," Magnus again reminded him to behave. Izaak assured him he would not and walked away.
"Venus won’t like it if she sees me," Alora shared with Magnus. "I don’t want to ruin her mood," she added.
He placed his hand over hers. "Not everyone can understand your pious heart," Magnus stated. "But if you wish, I can accompany you to see Venus. In front of me, she will refrain from speaking any bad words to you," he pronounced.
"I think we should stay here," Alora suggested. "Is it manageable for His Highness? He’s surrounded by humans," she remarked.
"Your scent is the only one that matters," Magnus reassured her. "The rest are negligible to me."
Interrupting their conversation, Elliot’s voice broke in. "Greetings to Your Highnesses."
"Elliot!" Alora exclaimed, surprised by his sudden appearance. "How are you?" she asked, genuinely curious.
"I’m well, Sister Alora. Here, I brought some cupcakes for you," Elliot said with a smile, offering the sweet treats. Alora lifted her head, stunned by his unexpected gesture.
"You should sit beside your sister," Magnus advised Elliot. Nodding, Elliot complied and took the seat next to Alora. He then handed her a cupcake.
Magnus couldn’t help but chuckle as he read Elliot’s thoughts. He found it amusing that both of Alora’s siblings seemed so self-centered.
Alora and Elliot exchanged glances, curious about Magnus’s chuckle. "Does His Highness have something to share?" Alora inquired.
"No, just enjoy the cupcake," Magnus replied firmly. He thought to let Alora and Elliot alone for a while. "I’ll be back in a while." He left to see Izaak, wondering if he would not be sucking someone’s blood.
And it didn’t take him long to spot Izaak. He was surprised to find him in the living area of the Wilson’s house. "Brother, what are you doing here?" Magnus asked. "Are you seeing the futures of these people?"
"No. But I saw something in Alora’s mother. That’s why I’m here," Izaak stated.
"What do you mean?" Magnus was puzzled.
"She will die, Magnus," Izaak replied.
"What? How?" He was well aware of his eldest brother’s abilities to foresee the future.
"I’m not sure. I do feel it will be because of Alora," Izaak stated.
"You mean she will burn her," Magnus said.
"Not exactly. It is tough to explain. I only see glimpses," Izaak asserted.
"You’ve never seen anyone’s death before. Isn’t it strange?" Magnus raised a doubt.
"Yes. I cannot see Alora’s future. Can you read her mind?" Izaak queried.
"I can," Magnus answered. He furrowed his brows together. "If Alora becomes the reason for her mother’s death, then she’ll never be able to cope with her loss."
"We cannot stop anyone’s death. Humans are meant to die one day," Izaak stated.
"But I need to make sure Alora doesn’t become the reason for her mother’s demise," Magnus proclaimed.
Izaak smiled and shook his head. "Magnus, if we play with nature’s laws, something bigger can happen. Anyhow, you would have found out about this. That’s why I told you myself. Also, you were supposed to meet Gloria today and here you are. In a marriage. You should find out why you can look into her eyes. Also, don’t forget about the message you received."
Magnus frowned to hear him. "Don’t you think someone doesn’t want me to be with Alora? She and I were fated."
"And what if it was all part of someone’s plan to bring the vampires down? What if the witch, who passed such a unique ability to Alora for a bigger purpose? And you somehow fell into her trap. Have you ever thought that way?" Izaak questioned him.
"I love Alora. Even if it’s a trap, I’ll find a way to get out of it. She should not suffer just because of a power she was bestowed to her," Magnus pronounced.
Izaak amusedly smiled to hear his response. "And I’ll have to help you since you cannot get out of this trap on your own," he stated.
They both now returned to the garden. "Who is the man beside Alora?" Izaak asked.
"Her younger brother, Elliot Wilson," Magnus answered.
"It seems he is sweet to his sister," Izaak opined.
"He isn’t. Because Alora is married to me, he wants a favor. Both Venus and Elliot are selfish," he asserted.
"Poor, Alora. She only has you who love her the most after her mother," Izaak remarked. He stopped a servant and picked up the wine glass from the silver tray. The servant bowed to them and left.
"Don’t tell Alora about her mother’s future," Magnus requested him. "She will stress out," he added.
