Chapter 376: Odin’s Confession 3

"Should I tell them at home?" Venus asked as they finally reached her house, her voice tinged with uncertainty.

Odin gave her a steady look before replying, "That’s your decision to make. Now go in—it’s already late."

Venus nodded, turning away with a soft smile. But before she could take a step, she felt a firm grip on her wrist, stopping her in her tracks. Startled, she glanced back at Odin, curiosity swirling in her eyes.

Without a word, Odin leaned down and captured her lips in a kiss, taking her by surprise. This time, he didn’t pull away as quickly as before.

Instead, he lingered, silently urging her to respond. Venus hesitated for a moment, her heart racing, before she finally began to move her lips against his, tentatively at first. Her fingers curled into themselves, fidgeting with nervous anticipation as she slowly gave in to the kiss, matching his rhythm with a newfound confidence.

Suddenly, Venus remembered they were standing right in front of her house and quickly pulled away from the kiss. "We’re outside," she whispered urgently, her eyes wide with concern. "The guards might be watching us."

Odin raised an eyebrow and glanced toward the gate, scanning the area. "Are they?" he asked, but saw no one. It seemed they had hidden before he could spot them.

Venus couldn’t help but smile at his reaction. It was rare to see Odin so unguarded. With a playful glint in her eyes, she finally decided to head inside. "I’ll give you a proper kiss when you ask for my hand," she teased, gently slipping her hand from his grip. Taking a step back, she bit her bottom lip and added softly, "You should go now, Lord Odin."

The respect was from the bottom of her heart. Without waiting for a response, Venus turned and hurried inside, her heart still racing.

Odin watched her retreat with a small smile playing on his lips. As she disappeared from view, he instructed the coachman to drive him home, then climbed into the carriage.

Meanwhile, as Venus entered the living hall, she was greeted by her mother’s loud, worried voice. "Where were you? Why did it take so long for you to return?"

Venus stopped in her tracks, her thoughts still lingering on the kiss. "I ended up watching more shows in the festival," she replied, trying to sound nonchalant, though she couldn’t quite hide the lingering blush on her cheeks.

Rhea shook her head, her initial worry melting away. "Go to your room and freshen up," she instructed gently. "Then we’ll have dinner. Your father has been waiting for quite a while."

"Hmm," Venus nodded before hurrying upstairs to her room.

As Venus disappeared from view, Rhea murmured to herself with a small smile, "She looks so happy." She realized that sending Venus out had been the right decision.

Upstairs, Venus splashed cold water on her face, hoping to calm the excitement still buzzing in her veins. As she looked at her reflection in the mirror, she noticed something she hadn’t seen in a long time—a genuine smile. It felt foreign yet welcome. She dried her face with a towel, changed into a comfortable gown for the night, and soon made her way downstairs to join her parents for dinner.

"Good evening, Father!" Venus greeted Norman cheerfully as she entered the dining room. Her father was seated at the head of the table, and her bright demeanor caught him off guard.

Norman blinked in surprise at his daughter’s unusual joyfulness. He exchanged a glance with Rhea, silently asking if she knew the reason behind Venus’s sudden cheerfulness. But Rhea shook her head, equally mystified yet pleased to see their daughter in such high spirits.

"The meal looks so delicious," Venus remarked, her eyes sparkling as she took in the spread before her. She then turned to her mother with a warm smile. "Thank you, Mother, for being so lovely and cooking so many dishes."

Both Norman and Rhea exchanged glances, surprised by Venus’s unusually cheerful demeanor.

Norman, unable to contain his curiosity, finally asked, "Venus, it seems you had a lot of fun at the festival. Is that why you’re so happy?" He was eager to understand what had brought about this change in his daughter.

Venus bit her lip, feeling a rush of excitement she could no longer hold back. She looked at both of her parents, her heart swelling with joy. "Umm... Father, Mother, I’m so happy," she began, her voice brimming with emotion.

"We can see that, dear," Rhea replied, smiling warmly, though clearly curious about the cause.

Venus took a deep breath before finally revealing, "Odin likes me, and it’s genuine. I... I like him too," she confessed, her face lighting up with a bright smile.

"What did you say?" Both Norman and Rhea were shocked to hear her. They were so clueless about their affair. "That’s such a wonderful news!" Norman said with a laughter.

Even Rhea started giggling along with her husband; tears of joy formed in her eyes.

"But are you sure this time, dear?" Rhea asked after a moment of silence, her tone laced with concern. "We know Odin is a good man, but he’s a vampire. You understand what that means, right?" Her eyes searched Venus’s face, hoping to convey the seriousness of her question.

Venus met her mother’s gaze, her own expression soft but resolute. "Yes, Mother, I’m sure this time," she said. A rosy blush spread across her cheeks as she continued, "Odin is the one who proposed to me first. He said he would like to have me as his woman."

Rhea’s eyes softened as she saw how much this meant to Venus. The depth of her daughter’s feelings was clear, and the sincerity in her voice left no room for doubt. Venus’s happiness was everything that mattered to both of them.

"Since the two of you have decided this mutually, we have no objections," Norman stated, his voice calm but firm. "But we will wait for the formal proposal to come from his side."

"Of course, Father," Venus agreed, her smile growing wider with each passing second. Relief and happiness radiated from her as she began to eat her meal alongside her parents.

After they finished dinner, Venus excused herself and went to her room. But even as she lay down, she knew sleep would elude her tonight. What had transpired today felt like something out of a dream—something she had never dared to imagine.

As she lay in bed, Venus found herself replaying every small incident that had occurred between her and Odin. Each moment felt precious, and the memory of his kiss lingered on her lips, making her heart flutter all over again.

She smiled to herself, knowing that her life was about to change in ways she hadn’t expected, and for the first time in a long while, that thought filled her with nothing but hope to be happy once again.

Venus was tightly hugging her pillow, lost in her thoughts, when she suddenly heard a soft thud on the balcony. Her heart skipped a beat as she sat up, wondering what could have caused the noise. Curiosity and a hint of worry drove her to the balcony, and as she pushed open the doors, she froze in place, flustered to see Odin standing before her.

"You didn’t leave!" Venus exclaimed, her eyes wide with surprise.

Odin’s gaze was intense as he looked at her. "I couldn’t go back," he replied, his voice low and steady.

"Huh? Why?" Venus asked, her confusion growing.

Odin took a step closer, his expression serious. "You are the reason," he confessed. "I’ve been devoid of these feelings for so long... For so many years that suddenly, the hunger in me has returned," he asserted, his voice thick with emotion. His eyes never left hers, as if searching for a similar longing in her gaze.

Venus felt her heart race at his words, the intensity of his feelings leaving her breathless. She hadn’t expected this, and yet, something about his confession stirred something deep within her as well.

A smile spread across Venus’s face, reaching her eyes, and she lowered them for a moment, overwhelmed by the depth of emotion in Odin’s words.

"I’ll ask for your hand from your parents now," Odin declared, his voice filled with urgency. "Let’s get married soon. I think we should live together."

The desperation in his voice was evident, revealing just how much he longed to have her by his side.

Venus gently shook her head, a soft chuckle escaping her lips. "Odin, my parents have probably fallen asleep by now. Let’s wait until tomorrow," she suggested.

Taking a step closer, she wrapped her arms around him, pressing her body against his, her eyes closed as she savored the moment. "So, this is what a man and woman feel when they hug each other," she murmured, almost to herself.

Odin’s hand moved to rest on her back, pulling her closer. "Yes," he replied softly. "A strange warmth that leaves you wanting more."

They stood there in silence, wrapped in each other’s embrace, as the night air whispered around them.

Chapter 377: Flames of desire

"Venus wants me to go with her on the last day of the Ambermoon Festival," Alora said, her voice carrying a hint of curiosity. She tilted her head to study Magnus, who lay beside her with his eyes closed, seemingly deep in thought.

"Why didn’t you tell me there was a festival in town?" she asked with a slight reproach. She leaned in closer, trying to catch his attention.

Magnus slowly opened his eyes, the red hue of his irises catching the light as he turned his head to meet her gaze. "I thought you knew about it," he replied in his calm voice. After a brief pause, he added, "Do you want to go? We can go together. Just the two of us." His hand reached out to her hair, his fingers gently threading through the soft strands as he tenderly caressed them.

Alora’s eyes lit up with excitement at the thought. "Today?" she asked, her voice filled with anticipation, her gaze searching his for confirmation.

Magnus nodded, a small smile playing on his lips as he watched her reaction. "Yes, tonight," he confirmed. "It’s the second day of the festival, and there will be a lot of exciting things to see and experience. I think you’ll enjoy it." His tone was reassuring that made her feel at ease.

Alora’s heart fluttered at the prospect of spending the evening with him at the festival. She was never a part of any festival before. So, it would be her first experienced to witness everything. "That sounds perfect," she murmured, already imagining what the night would bring.

Magnus continued to gently stroke her hair, his touch soothing and affectionate. "Then it’s settled. We’ll go together tonight," he said softly, his eyes never leaving hers.

As Alora began to move away, Magnus tightened his grip on her arm, gently pulling her back towards him. Her long eyelashes fluttered as she looked up at him, her eyes filled with curiosity. "What is it?" she asked, a slow smile spreading across her lips.

"I have no plans to leave the bed today," Magnus replied, his voice rich with a mix of playfulness and intent.

Alora chuckled, looking away momentarily as she processed his words. "It’s morning, Magnus. If you choose to be lazy now, you’ll waste the entire day," she teased, her tone light but with a hint of admonishment.

Magnus gave a soft, almost mischievous smile. "Does it matter? I’m a prince too, you know. I can afford to take such breaks," he asserted confidently.

As he spoke, he leaned in closer, his nose brushing against hers, their breaths mingling in the small space between them. The warmth of his breath on her lips stirred something within her, fanning the flames of desire that had been simmering just beneath the surface.

Before Alora could respond, Magnus captured her lips in a sensual kiss, his touch both tender and commanding. His lips moved against hers with a deliberate slowness, savoring the taste of her, drawing her deeper into the moment.

When he gently tugged on her lower lip, a soft, sweet moan escaped from her mouth, making him smirk.

Magnus pulled back just enough to meet her gaze, his eyes dark with desire before he captured her lips again in a heated kiss. Alora’s body relaxed against him, her hands finding their place on his bare chest. Her fingers began to trace the contours of his muscles, exploring the hard planes of his body with a tenderness that sent shivers down his spine.

A low growl rumbled from Magnus’s throat, a primal sound of approval that only spurred him to deepen the kiss. His lips moved with more urgency, claiming her mouth as if he couldn’t get enough of her. In response, Alora melted into him, her body responding to the intensity of the moment.

Magnus’s hands slid down to her lower back, his touch firm yet gentle as he guided her to sit astride him. Alora now found herself perched above him, her thighs resting on either side of his hips. The change in position made her heart race, and she could feel the heat of his body seeping into her own.

He looked up at her from this new angle, his hands resting on her thighs, fingers digging into her skin just enough to anchor her there. The way he gazed at her, with a mix of desire and deep affection, made her feel completely seen, completely wanted.

"You’re irresistible, Alora," Magnus murmured, his voice husky and filled with longing. He gently pressed her closer, his hands guiding her movements as if she were a part of him.

"Do you like what I do?" Alora asked, her eyes gleaming a hue of red.

"Yes," Magnus responded.

Suddenly, he sat up, one hand moving to support her back while the other stayed firm on her thigh, holding her securely in place. He lowered his head to the curve of her neck, his lips brushing against her skin before he began to suck on the sensitive spot, drawing a series of moans from Alora.

The sensation sent waves of pleasure coursing through her, her hands instinctively clutching his shoulders for support.

"Magnus, I want—" Her words were cut off by a sharp gasp as she yelped in pain. Magnus had sunk his teeth into her neck, piercing her skin deeply enough to draw blood.

It was a move he had resisted in the past, always mindful of the potential danger, but now, the temptation was too strong to resist. He allowed himself to give in, knowing that Alora’s strength far surpassed his own and trusting that she could stop him if it became too much.

The taste of her blood sent a rush of power through him, heightening his senses and intensifying the bond between them. Despite the pain, Alora’s initial shock gave way to something deeper, an understanding that this was an expression of Magnus’s unfiltered desire. Her body tensed for a moment, then relaxed against him, trusting him even in this vulnerable state.

Magnus pulled back slightly, his lips stained with her blood, his eyes now glowing with a fierce intensity. "I couldn’t stop," he murmured, his voice rough, almost apologetic. Yet, the way he looked at her made it clear that he was struggling with the depths of his need for her.

Alora, despite the sting from the bite, found herself drawn even closer to him. "It’s okay," she whispered, her voice breathy but reassuring. She placed a hand on his cheek, her touch grounding him as she gazed into his eyes. "I’m here with you."

Magnus’s breath hitched at her words, the connection between them stronger than ever. He pulled her into a tight embrace, his lips finding hers once more.

Later, as Alora finished getting ready, she turned to Selvina with a warm smile. "Selvina, why don’t you take a few days off? You’ve been working tirelessly for months. You deserve some time for yourself," she suggested kindly.

Selvina paused, her hands falling from Alora’s hair as she completed the intricate hairstyle. "Your Highness, where would I go? I’ve been doing this work for so long that I enjoy it," she replied with a gentle smile, her dedication evident in her voice.

Alora rose from the velvety chair and turned to face Selvina, taking her hands in her own. "Then why not go to the festival? Have some fun. Or, if you prefer, I could accompany you," Alora offered, her tone sincere and caring.

Selvina’s eyes widened slightly in surprise. "The Ambermoon Festival?" she asked, as if the idea had never occurred to her.

"Yes, the very same," Alora confirmed, her excitement growing. "Who knows, you might even find your soulmate there!" She clasped her hands together, her eyes sparkling with the possibility, clearly hoping to inspire some enthusiasm in Selvina.

Selvina’s smile grew a little wider, touched by Alora’s thoughtfulness. "Your Highness, you always know how to brighten my day," she said softly. "Perhaps I will visit the festival. It has been a long time since I allowed myself to enjoy such things."

Alora beamed, pleased that her suggestion had found some ground. "That’s the spirit! You never know what surprises the festival might hold." She squeezed Selvina’s hands gently before letting go, her eyes reflecting the same warmth and affection she always showed to those she cared about.

Selvina bowed her head slightly in gratitude. "Thank you, Your Highness. I will take your advice and see what the festival has to offer."

"Sure. Wait! Let me give a dress too," Alora said and moved to the large closet.

"Your Highness, it’s alright. I have many dresses," Selvina asserted.

"Stay quiet, Selvina. You have to look good today. And many of these dresses I’ve not even touched. Come here and select one for you. We have almost same figure, so the dress will fit on you," Alora said, smiling at her. She had a plan to send Griffin to the same festival. Her mission was to bring these two souls together.

Chapter 378: Mark me, Alora

"We can’t go out today since Father has called for Lewis and his parents. There’s an important event that we need to attend," Magnus explained.

"Oh," Alora said, pouting slightly.

"I promise I’ll take you out later," Magnus assured her.

"That’s okay. Sister Lillian’s pre-marriage function will be enjoyable too," Alora responded. "But did you hear about Griffin? He’s shown interest in Selvina, but she turned him down. She said she doesn’t want to be involved with someone of higher status. I think it’s because of her past experiences."

"Really? That makes sense," Magnus said, his expression thoughtful. "Selvina’s history is quite tragic. She was once deeply in love with a human of high noble rank. Despite their relationship, he abandoned her when she became pregnant. Not only did he sever ties with her, but he also sent men after her to ensure she didn’t survive. That’s how Tobias found her and brought her into my service. Selvina’s reluctance to engage with those of higher status is rooted in that painful history."

"What? She was pregnant?" Alora’s voice trembled with outrage. Her blood boiled at the thought, and all she wanted was to make the man who had wronged Selvina pay. "Did you punish him for what he did?"

"I didn’t directly intervene in those matters," Magnus explained calmly. "However, I did send Griffin to deal with him. Griffin took care of the situation, but I don’t have the specifics since I didn’t delve deeper into the details."

"Who then saved Selvina? Was it you?" Alora asked, her curiosity piqued.

"No, it wasn’t me," Magnus said, shaking his head. "About twenty years ago, I was in need of new servants. Tobias brought Selvina to me. I have a habit of accessing the memories of those who will be serving me closely, and that’s how I came to know about her past."

Alora’s face fell, her concern deepening. "Selvina has endured so much. I never knew about this—she never spoke of it."

"She probably wants to shield you from her pain," Magnus suggested gently. "And you’ve been quick to anger recently. It’s unusual, but I must say, I find angry Alora quite captivating. I enjoy soothing her when she’s upset."

Alora chuckled despite herself. "I saw you talking to Rienna earlier. I thought you’d distance yourself from her after her marriage proposal. I’m still fuming about it. The way she looks at you, the way she smiles—it stirs up a fierce jealousy in me."

"Don’t you know me better than that?" Magnus said, his gaze lingering on her lips. "Only you are allowed to love me, not anyone else. Rienna merely greeted me and apologized for her proposal. She saw your reaction when you ignored her, Darling," he added with a teasing smile.

"I don’t need her apology," Alora replied firmly. "I don’t like women who have their eyes on married men."

Magnus’s smile widened with amusement. He leaned in and surprised her with a tender kiss, his lips brushing softly against hers. As he began to nibble gently, her eyes fluttered open in surprise. "Alora, I actually enjoy it when you get jealous," he murmured between kisses, his voice was both warm and affectionate.

"Do you love making me angry?" Alora asked, pushing Magnus gently but firmly, her hands resting on his chest.

"Yes," Magnus admitted with a playful glint in his eyes. "It makes you look incredibly cute."

"And what about the ache in my heart?" Alora’s voice was soft but carried a hint of sadness.

"Well, I can soothe that ache as well," Magnus said, his tone soothing. He traced the back of his fingers along her cheek tenderly. He leaned in to place a gentle kiss on her chin, then moved to her throat, his lips barely brushing against her skin.

As he did so, his other hand caressed her breast with a delicate touch. The sensation elicited a reaction from her that he had hoped for.

"Oh, Magnus," Alora murmured softly, her voice barely audible. Her hands clung to his nape as she tried to kiss him, but he deliberately evaded her lips, teasing her with his proximity.

She tilted her head back, a shiver running through her as Magnus’s lips trailed kisses along her collarbone, his touch was warm and insistent. His skilled fingers deftly untied the knots on her gown, letting it fall loosely around her.

"Someone might come in," Alora stuttered, her voice trembling as a soft moan escaped her when Magnus’s teeth nipped at the delicate skin above her right breast. The intimacy of the moment made it quite possible for anyone to walk in, especially since they were in the living room.

With a swift motion, Magnus lifted Alora into his arms, his speed allowing them to reach the bedchamber in an instant. He gently but firmly placed her on the bed, the poster bed creaking under the sudden movement. Magnus’s body pressed down on hers, his presence enveloping her as he settled above her, his gaze locked onto hers with desire.

Alora cupped Magnus’s face with both hands and gently pulled him down, guiding him to lie on the bed. They shared a heated, long kiss. As their lips parted, Magnus’s hands found her back, moving her body above his.

"Alora, you should mark me," Magnus whispered, his lips brushing against her neck. His other hand rested on her bare thigh, holding her firmly above him.

"Mark you?" Alora asked, her eyes meeting his with a mix of confusion and curiosity.

"Yes. Mark me, Alora. Drink my blood," Magnus urged.

"Can I?" Alora questioned, her sudden hunger for his blood surprising her.

"Yes," Magnus confirmed, watching as her fangs elongated. "Trust me, it won’t hurt me. In fact, it will bring me immense pleasure. You are my wife and my soulmate. It will deepen our bond."

He sat up, holding her close, his eyes filled with a deep, and an unwavering trust.

Alora’s gaze shifted to the vein in his neck, and with a mixture of anticipation and reverence, she sank her fangs into his skin. The sensation was overwhelmingly pleasurable, filling her with a sense of delight and satisfaction she had never experienced before.

The taste of his blood was intoxicating, and she felt an intense connection as she drank. This was her first time drinking directly from someone, and she was grateful that it was Magnus, her husband.

Chapter 379: Another passionate kiss

Magnus bit down hard on his bottom lip, his Adam’s apple bobbing as Alora’s mouth latched onto his neck. As she began to draw his blood, a deep growl rumbled through his chest, vibrating against her.

His hand on her back pressed her closer, encouraging her to savor the taste. Though his blood wasn’t human, it was richer, more potent, and undeniably intoxicating.

His hand moved to the back of her head as his fingers entangled in her soft tresses, caressing and pulling on them. He didn’t stop her since this moment was special for him, for them.

After a while, Alora slowly pulled back, wiping her lips with the back of her hand. Her eyes met his, noticing the intensity in his red orbs, and then her gaze dropped to his lips.

He had just released his bottom lip from his teeth, and the sight made her heart race with an unfamiliar sensation. She licked her lips, trying to steady her breathing, but the heat of his gaze made it nearly impossible.

"Magnus," she whispered, her voice trembling slightly. Her fangs had retracted, but the spark between them had grown further added with something primal and electric.

Without warning, Magnus captured her lips in a fierce kiss, tasting his own blood mingled with hers. The sweetness only heightened the connection between them.

His hand, which had been resting on her thigh, began to slide upward, his touch slow yet deliberate, igniting a trail of heat along her skin.

Alora broke the kiss just enough to ask, "Do you feel strange?"

"Around you? All the time," Magnus replied, his voice thick with desire. He silenced her again with another passionate kiss, his hand cradling the back of her neck, holding her close as if he never wanted to let her go.

His other hand inched higher, moving closer to her most intimate place. He was ready to explore how her body responded to him, how prepared she was for him.

Alora’s breath hitched, her body instinctively reacting to his touch. Her head fell back in pleasure, her lips parting from Magnus’s as he began to press hot, urgent kisses along her throat.

Each kiss sent a shiver through her body, making her mind spin. Her fingers tightened their grip on his shirt, clutching at his shoulders as she began to moan his name, each sound filled with a mix of need and delight.

"Your body responds so well," Magnus murmured against her skin with satisfaction. He opened his eyes briefly to drink in her expression, her face flushed and eyes half-lidded with desire, before closing them again and continuing his trail of kisses downward. His hand, which had been cradling the back of her head, moved to her dress, fingers deftly working to free her from its confines.

Alora’s breath quickened as she felt his hands on her dress. She mirrored his actions, her hands moving to the knots on his shirt, her fingers fumbling slightly in her eagerness to feel his skin against hers.

Once she had undone the knots, she pulled his shirt off, exposing his well-defined chest. The sight of him, bare and vulnerable before her, only heightened the tension between them.

Magnus paused his kisses for a moment, his gaze locking onto Alora with an intensity that made her heart pound in her chest. His eyes, dark with desire, roamed over her, taking in every detail of her flushed face, the way her breath came in shallow gasps, and the tantalizing way her body responded to his touch.

"You won’t mind if I tore this dress off," he murmured, his voice deep and rough with barely restrained passion.

But he didn’t wait for her response. With a swift, effortless motion, Magnus tore the delicate fabric from her body. Before she could fully process what had happened, he had flipped her onto the bed, her body landing softly on the cool sheets.

"Alora," Magnus whispered, his voice now a tender caress. His eyes raked over her exposed form, his breath hitching slightly at the sight of her lying beneath him, vulnerable yet radiating a beauty that took his breath away. "You look beautiful. You have a beautiful body."

His words were laced with reverence, as though he were speaking to a goddess rather than the woman he loved. Magnus’s fingers began to trace her curves, his touch light yet electric, sending shivers through her as his hands explored every inch of her.

The pads of his fingers brushed over the smooth skin of her waist, gliding up the gentle slope of her hips and along the line of her ribs, lingering just below her breasts.

Alora’s body tensed under his touch, her senses heightened to a degree she had never known before. The heat of his gaze, the soft pressure of his hands, and the way his breath fanned across her skin—all of it combined to create a heady mix of anticipation and arousal that made her feel like she was on the edge of something profound.

The taint of red had spread throughout her cheeks, her blush deepening as his eyes devoured her. Her swollen lips parted slightly, her breath coming in soft, needy gasps.

Magnus’s hands slid higher, his fingers teasing the sensitive skin just above her breasts, before he leaned down to press a gentle kiss against the hollow of her throat. His lips moved slowly, deliberately, trailing a path from her throat down to her collarbone, each kiss sending a jolt of pleasure through her.

Alora’s hands, which had been gripping the sheets beneath her, moved to his shoulders, her fingers digging into his skin as she fought to hold on to some semblance of control.

But it was a losing battle.

Magnus’s touch, his words, the way he looked at her—all of it was too much, too intense. She felt herself slipping into the storm pleasure he was creating, and she didn’t want to hold back any longer.

Magnus’s lips continued their descent, his mouth worshipping her body with a reverence that made her heart swell. When he finally reached the swell of her breasts, his tongue flicked out to taste her skin, his breath hot against her as he claimed her with slow, deliberate movements.

Alora’s back arched off the bed, a soft moan escaping her lips as she surrendered to the pleasure he was giving her. Magnus’s hands, which had been resting on her hips, moved upward to cradle her breasts, his thumbs brushing over her sensitive peaks, drawing another gasp from her.

"Magnus..." she breathed, her voice quivering with need.

He looked up at her, his eyes blazing with love and desire. "I love you, Alora," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "I want you to feel how much I love you."

And with that, he lowered his mouth to her breast, capturing her in a kiss that sent a wave of pleasure crashing over her. Alora’s fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer as she gave in to the sensations, her body trembling with the force of her desire.

Magnus continued his worship, his lips and hands moving in perfect harmony as he brought her to the peak of pleasure, her body responding to him in ways she had never imagined.

Magnus kissed his way back up to her lips, his touch tender yet electrifying, as if he was memorizing every inch of her skin. Their kiss deepened, becoming more intense and their bodies pressed closer.

Without breaking their kiss, Magnus positioned himself, his body perfectly aligned with hers. Slowly, Magnus began to enter her.

Alora’s fingers dug into his shoulders, "Ahh...," her nails leaving faint marks on his skin as she gasped at the sensation of him filling her.

As the rhythm between them began to build, Magnus’s movements became more urgent, driven by the growing need to reach the peak of their shared pleasure. Alora’s moans grew louder, more desperate, as she clung to him, her body trembling beneath his.

"Magnus..." she breathed out his name, "I love you."

"I love you too, Alora," Magnus while burying his face in the crook of her neck, his breath hot against her skin as he thrust into her with a newfound fervor. Alora’s legs wrapped around his waist, pulling him even closer as their movements became more frantic, more desperate.

Alora’s back arched off the bed as the first waves of her climax began to crash over her, her body shuddering with the force of it. She cried out Magnus’s name, her nails raking down his back as she was consumed by the overwhelming pleasure. Magnus followed moments later, his own release hitting him like a tidal wave, his body tensing as he groaned her name, the sound muffled against her neck.

"That was intense," Magnus mumbled, his voice laced with exhaustion and contentment as he finally let his head rest above Alora’s chest. He could feel the rapid beat of her heart beneath his ear, a comforting rhythm that matched his own.

Chapter 380: The Perfect Woman 1

Griffin tossed the coin into the air, its gleaming surface catching the light as he recalled Alora’s words. Selvina had refused to see him due to his perceived higher status. He leaned against the wooden railing, clutching the coin tightly. "But I’m not of noble blood. I was once a mere human who fought tirelessly to get here. If it weren’t for Prince Magnus, I wouldn’t be where I am now," Griffin murmured to himself.

A voice interrupted his thoughts. "Hey, Griffin! It’s been ages since I last saw you."

Griffin turned and saw Samael De Vries, the eldest son of a powerful noble family from the North Estate of Velaris. A smile spread across Griffin’s face as he straightened up and extended his hand in greeting. Samael shook it firmly, and the two exchanged a friendly nod.

"Samael, it’s great to see you after all these years," Griffin said, still clasping Samael’s hand.

"I’m surprised as well. What brings you here?" Griffin asked, curious about Samael’s presence at the festival.

Samael’s eyes brightened with a small smile. "I’m here with my wife and children."

"Congratulations on your marriage!" Griffin responded warmly. "How many kids do you have?"

"Two— a boy and a girl," Samael replied proudly. "Do visit De Vries Estate sometime," he added.

"That sounds wonderful. I’d love to catch up and see you all. I’ll make sure to visit the De Vries Estate sometime soon," Griffin said, his tone sincere.

"I’ll look forward to it," Samael said with a smile. Samael glanced at Griffin with a hint of curiosity. "What about you? I heard you were in Prince Magnus’s service. Are you still working for him? And have you settled down?"

"I am still in Prince Magnus’s service," Griffin replied. "I’m not married yet, though."

Samael nodded thoughtfully. "You should consider starting a family. It’s not easy living alone for years, waiting for someone to come into your life. Would you like me to introduce you to someone?"

Griffin was tempted to agree, but thoughts of Selvina made him hesitate. "No, thank you, Samael. Princess Alora has already introduced me to someone. I’ll have to decline for now," he said politely.

"That’s perfectly fine. If you do get married, please invite me. I couldn’t reach out to you before because I wasn’t aware of your whereabouts," Samael said, a hopeful note in his voice.

"I will definitely invite you," Griffin assured him with a smile. "You’ve always been the only noble vampire who never looked down on me. You’ve been a respectful senior who saved me from difficult situations."

"I did what any noble should," Samael replied modestly. "I should get going now. My wife and kids must be waiting for me. Enjoy the festival," he said, and with a final nod, he took his leave.

Griffin’s smile lingered as he relished the brief reunion with Samael. As he turned around, his gaze fell upon Selvina, and he froze in awe.

"Is that really her?" Griffin whispered, his brow furrowing in disbelief. Dressed as elegantly as any noble lady, Selvina was stunningly beautiful. Griffin was still captivated by her appearance when Selvina turned her head and glanced in his direction. Reacting swiftly, Griffin used his vampiric speed to dart behind a large wooden pillar, hiding from view.

"Did she see me?" Griffin wondered, his heart racing. "No, I think I was quick enough," he murmured to himself, peeking cautiously from behind the pillar as he tried to steady his breathing.

"I felt like someone was watching me," Selvina murmured, glancing around as she continued walking. "This dress is so delicate. I need to be careful with it; it was quite expensive," she added, her voice tinged with concern.

Griffin, peeking out from behind the pillar, saw her moving away and decided to follow. Keeping a respectful distance, he trailed after her, admiring her elegance and grace. "She seems like the perfect woman for me," he thought, a sense of determination growing within him. "I need to win her heart and earn her trust."

Griffin halted abruptly when Selvina stopped outside an upscale dress shop. He watched as she paused, deep in thought, before stepping inside. Curiosity piqued, Griffin followed her discreetly.

The shop exuded exclusivity, catering to a high-class clientele with its exorbitant prices. Selvina seemed momentarily hesitant, her gaze lingering on the prices. After a brief pause, she resolutely entered the shop, intending to purchase a small gift for Alora.

As Selvina searched for the perfect gift, she discovered a dress adorned with exquisite stonework. The fabric was incredibly silky, a perfect choice for the princess. Deciding to use the money she had earned, she asked to see the dress.

Just as the shop employee presented it to her, another woman, clearly from a noble family, noticed the dress and placed her hand on it. "I like this dress," the woman said, a hint of entitlement in her voice.

Selvina looked at her with a polite but firm expression. "Miss, I was the first to express interest in this dress. I am also prepared to pay for it," she said gently.

The young lady’s eyes narrowed with disdain as she addressed Selvina. "Do you even know who I am?" she demanded, her tone laced with condescension. "You wouldn’t want to cross me. It would be wise for you to just give up on this dress."

Without waiting for a response, she turned to the shop owner. "I’ll pay double for this dress. Pack it up and send it to the Koopman Residence immediately," she declared, her voice echoing with the confidence of her wealth. She made a show of her affluence, drawing attention to the fact that money was no object for her.

The shop owner, visibly intimidated by the mention of the Koopman family, hesitated briefly. Recognizing the powerful lineage of the young lady, he instructed his employee to wrap the dress with the highest care, unable to refuse her demand.

At that moment, Griffin stepped forward, his presence commanding immediate attention. "Sorry, Miss Koopman, but the dress can’t be yours," he said, his voice carrying a firm, authoritative tone. He stood resolutely between Selvina and the young lady, his gaze steady.

The shop owner’s eyes widened in recognition as he saw Griffin. He quickly bowed his head in respect, acknowledging Griffin’s influence and authority.
