Ch. 66..70: The Vampire Prince's Blindfolded Bride Chapter 66-70
Chapter 66: I don’t think you’ll get a sleep tonight
Magnus slowly got out of bed after planting a soft kiss on Alora’s forehead. He exited the bedroom, closing the door behind him. As he came downstairs, his eyes fell upon Izaak, who was present in the living room, drinking the blood from the supplies that Tobias had left for him.
"You don’t look well. Did Alora’s family refuse to keep her with them?" Izaak questioned his brother, who had finally taken the seat.
"Norman isn’t a good father. He always hated Alora and still does," Magnus said in annoyance and picked up the glass filled with blood from the table. As he took a few sips, he further said, "I couldn’t kill them since Alora loves them."
Izaak amusedly gazed at him. "I never thought you would become so weak in love," he remarked.
"I am surprised at myself," Magnus admitted. "The day Alora’s affection for those people ends, I will not let them live either," he blurted out, sounding so desperate to kill them.
"What about Alora’s mother?" Izaak questioned him.
"She is the only sane woman among them," Magnus replied.
"I wonder why Alora never burned all of them, except for her mother. At some point, we do get frustrated. Don’t you think, Magnus? You and I would have not to think twice before taking such a step," Izaak stated and lowered the cup.
"You are right, Brother," Magnus said.
"What about your blood thirst? You look calm to me when you should be looking for the fresh blood from the humans," Izaak proclaimed with curiousness flashing in his eyes.
"It is Alora’s eyes magic. My thirst has disappeared since the last night," Magnus answered.
"Pardon?" Izaak was puzzled by such a response from his brother. "Can you elaborate?" he questioned.
"Her eyes can control us," Magnus stated in the simplified words. "I think Alora failed to control the power of her eyes when she was young. Also, everyone decided to neglect or stay away from her. Her eyes can do a lot more than we can even imagine," he explained to his eldest brother.
"I do think she can look at everyone’s eyes. Only those are burned, who have ill feelings toward her or maybe who want her to die," said Izaak. He tapped his finger on the rim of the wine cup he had held.
"I have the same thoughts. However, Alora doesn’t wish to look at anyone, excluding me," Magnus stated and drank further from the cup he had held.
"How will you find the divine figure, who can answer all of your questions? Also, did you recall the time when you met Alora?" Izaak inquired him.
"No. I’ve not recalled anything related to that. Let the blood moon day pass, then I’ll go to the place, which Gloria had mentioned," Magnus opined. "Gabriel has come to me yesterday. Alora was targeted by someone to be killed that night. A rogue werewolf was hired for it," he told the matter to Izaak.
"Who did it?" Izaak questioned.
"It is unknown," Magnus replied.
"What about his face?"
"The man had hidden his face from the mask," Magnus replied.
"Poor, Alora! She has so many enemies when she is such a kind woman," Izaak commented. When he noticed a frown on his face, Izaak quickly said, "I was always her friend."
"I doubt you," Magnus stated and brought the cup to his mouth.

Alora turned left and spread her arm out only to feel that Magnus wasn’t beside her. She shot open her eyes and looked around the bedroom, which was covered in darkness. Rubbing her eyes, Alora wondered if Magnus went outside and quickly got off the bed. She wore the cloak around her and left the bedroom to look for him.
However, her feet halted to see Magnus sitting alone in the living room under the dim lights of the candles.
He turned his head as Alora’s blood scent reached his nostrils. "Why are you here?" Magnus left his seat while keeping the hold on the cup.
Alora leaped the last stair and walked to him. Without uttering a single word to him, Alora hugged him tightly. "I thought His Highness left to hunt," she murmured.
Magnus tenderly stroked her hair. "I was here only, drinking for some time," he whispered.
She withdrew from the hug while he hung his arm around her shoulder. Placing the cup on the table, he told Alora that they should head back.
Upon reaching their bedroom, Alora removed her cloak and hung it on the hanger. "Can I open the window? I feel hot here," she asked.
"Of course!" Magnus permitted her.
Alora went to the window and pushed it open. The moment it opened, her eyes fell onto the moon, which was slightly red. "Magnus, look, how beautiful the moon is!" She exclaimed in happiness.
Magnus approached her and halted behind her. He never enjoyed the beauty of the moon. However, the way Alora would look at her and explain about it, made him look at it from a different angle.
Alora extended her hand out and made a circle with her thumb and index finger. She pivoted to Magnus and told him to look at the moon through the circle she made. "It looks tiny and it feels that I can reach it," she murmured with her white-teeth smile.
Magnus held her hand and lowered it. His other hand cradled her neck while his thumb brushed her cheek gently. The next second, he lifted her up, resting his hands on her hips and locking her legs behind his torso.
"I don’t think you’ll get a sleep tonight," Magnus whispered against her lips.
Alora’s eyelashes fluttered, and her heart drummed against her chest. "What do you mean?" she questioned naively.
"You’ll know soon," Magnus said.
He kissed her passionately, sending a surge of electricity through her mind and body, leaving her instantly breathless. With deliberate, unhurried steps, he made his way to the bed, where he gently laid Alora down. As he tore off his shirt, Alora’s eyes widened in surprise.
"Why did you do that?" Alora asked, blinking rapidly.
"I didn’t have time to deal with each button," Magnus replied with a smirk, leaning in to capture her lips in another intense kiss. As their lips met in a fervent embrace, Alora felt her thoughts dissolve, her hands instinctively roaming over his cool, taut skin, but with hesitation.
He withdrew from the kiss, making them gasp for air. "Alora, I’m going to undress you fully," he whispered.
Chapter 67: The night of their union
Taking Alora’s hand in his, Magnus let her explore his body. "You don’t need to hesitate while touching me. After all, I’m yours," he said. He brought her hand to his mouth and kissed her knuckles. Bringing it again to his chest, he let her roam on it.
She admired his body by letting her hand freely explore his chest, his shoulders, and then his arms. The way her big eyelashes would flutter made his insides flutter.
Lowering himself further, Magnus planted a tender kiss on Alora’s forehead before pressing his lips to hers. Their kiss was brief but filled with longing, and then he trailed his lips down to her chin, then to her throat and neck. With deft hands, he swiftly untied the knots of her nightdress.
Alora’s breath hitched as her hand moved to Magnus’s smooth tresses, her fingers entwining with them in silent approval of his advances.
"Ahhh." She let out a cry when he nipped the sensitive spot between her neck and shoulder. However, the short pain soothed as soon as he licked the spot, causing her to moan.
The strange feeling formed under the pit of her stomach kept growing. He slowly pulled down the fabric of her dress, thus revealing her curves to his hungry eyes.
Alora instinctively brought her arms to hide herself, her cheeks flushed beetroot red. Her lips quivered unable to speak up because of her shyness.
He was tender in approach as he grasped her both hands and asked her to look at him. When she did, she was mesmerized to see his gleaming red eyes.
Because the blood moon was at its peak hour, it caused Magnus to suddenly feel thirsty for the blood.
She noticed the sudden change in his demeanor He was fighting with himself and it caused a worry in her. His fangs grew in the middle of their lovemaking and he quickly sat up, moving away from her.
Magnus clutched the sheets, and he decided to leave before he would hurt Alora. However, she clung to him from behind. Her front body pressed to his back, sharing the warmth with him.
"Alora, I waited for this moment for a long time. But... I want blood suddenly," Magnus managed to speak and asked her to let him go. "I don’t know what I’ll do to you if I don’t leave," he stated.
"You can drink from me anytime you want. You don’t have to stop yourself," Alora said and she kissed the top of his cold shoulder. "Just look into my eyes," she requested him.
Magnus listened to her and turned around. "Do I look scary?" he queried. He knew with his long canines and deep red eyes, he didn’t look lesser than any animal or a beast.
"No. You look magical," Alora replied, passing a smile to him. Those were the words Magnus had always used for her. She moved her fingers to touch his fangs. Her fingers then traced his face, admiring the beauty of it.
All this time, Magnus had showered her with love and now it was Alora’s turn to reciprocate with equal passion. She kissed him deeply on the lips, then shifted herself onto his lap, eager to express her affection.
Magnus felt himself returning to its original form. He held the nape of Alora’s neck, burying his head in the crook of her neck. With constant nibbling and suckling on her skin, he elicited sweet pleasure from her, causing her to writhe in ecstasy.
His lips again found her mouth, and she welcomed him. Her hands locked behind her nape; all her shyness had gone by this time. However, the blush on her cheeks was still persistent.
Magnus no longer wanted her blood. The passion and her warmth had overpowered his thoughts.
Soon enough, he made her lay on the mattress, ripping off her clothes, thus making her eyes grow big. She didn’t anticipate this kind of response from him.
"I’ve no more patient left, Alora," he said, pressing her body on hers.
His fingers trailed up her thighs while his lips left kisses between the valley of her breasts.
"Mag-nus..." Alora whispered his name, her voice filled with desire as she looked at him. She was unable to understand where to focus. In truth, her mind was in a disheveled state now. Her back arched as he explored every spot on her body with his hands and fiery kisses.
He continued to trail his lips down her belly, his movements turned deliberately slower than before. Finally, he came to a stop just below her navel, leaving Alora breathless with anticipation.
"Why did you stop?" Alora asked, she suddenly felt a void.
"I haven’t. It’s only the beginning," Magnus replied, his tone filled with promise.
With that, he replaced his fingers on her thighs with his lips, trailing kisses along her soft skin. When his teeth sank into her delicate flesh, Alora let out another cry of his name, lost in the waves of pleasure that engulfed her.
Alora’s hands moved on her own to his hair, holding on to them tightly. The pleasure she had experienced earlier was nothing in front of the current one. Finally, she reached the pinnacle of her pleasure, letting her body feel it.
As Alora took deep breaths, trying to comprehend the intensity of the moment, Magnus undressed himself fully. Gently holding her thighs, he pulled her close before pressing into her.
"Ahhh!" Alora hissed in pain as she clutched onto his arms.
Quick to ease her discomfort, Magnus nibbled on her lips, soothing her with his tender touch. Their bodies moved together in rhythm, the sensation of their connection overpowering any lingering discomfort.
Alora’s nails dug into the flesh of his back, her pleasure evident in the smile that formed on her lips as she felt herself ascending to cloud nine.
"I love you, Alora. Finally, we are one. You are mine," Magnus whispered against her lips, sealing their union with his declaration of love for her.
Chapter 68: Please, more
Alora snuggled close to Magnus, her head resting on his arm while her hand moved to his chest. Gradually, she opened her eyes and recalled everything from the last night.
"Good morning, Love," Magnus greeted her and kissed her lips. Nibbling her bottom lip, he yearned for a moan from her mouth. Her eyelashes touched the skin beneath her eyes as she lowered them and smiled.
"Prince Magnus still has energy in the morning," she murmured and realized she was donned in a silk robe.
"After you fell asleep, I cleaned you. I thought to put the robe on you so that you won’t catch s cold," Magnus told her before she could even ask about it.
Alora’s heart fluttered to hear how much her husband cared for her.
"I’ll ask the servant to prepare a bath for us," Magnus opined and slowly moved away from her. She remained on the mattress while watching Magnus going out.
"Are we going to bathe together?" Alora murmured, covering her eyes with her hands as she felt shy. As she lowered her hands, she propped herself up on her elbows and sat up, contemplating the idea. Eventually, Alora made her way to the washroom.
After freshening up, she examined her body in the mirror and was shocked to see it covered in hickeys. Her mouth fell open in disbelief as she quickly pulled up her silk robe.
"How am I supposed to face the others? Even my neck has the imprints of his lips," Alora murmured to herself, feeling self-conscious about the marks left by Magnus’s affection.
After brushing her teeth, Alora exited the washroom and was greeted by Selvina standing with her head low.
Alora got conscious too, making sure not to look into her eyes. "Your Highness, the bathhouse is ready for you," Selvina informed her with a tiny smile on her lips.
"Thank you, Selvina." Alora headed to the bathhouse. Through the plain white see-through curtains, she saw Magnus resting inside the huge bathing pool.
She strode toward him and widened to see the scratches of her nails on his back.
"Come in. The water is warm," said Magnus as he moved his hand into the water, tilting his head over his shoulder to look at her.
"Hmm." Alora moved her hands to the knots of her robe and she untied them. She entered the pool, keeping her hands over her chest, and sat across from Magnus.
"What is this? You are sitting so far from me," he complained.
"I have to wear a collared gown because you left hickeys all over my body," Alora stated, her frustration evident in her tone.
In an instant, Magnus appeared right in front of her, trapping her between his arms. "So? Your body belongs to me. Besides, you begged for it last night," he said with a playful grin.
"Did I?" Alora pursed her lips together, trying to recall.
"You did," Magnus replied, bringing his right hand to her arm and making circles on it. "You said, ’Please, more.’"
A blush instantly spread across Alora’s cheeks at the memory, and she looked away, unable to meet Magnus’s gaze. He smirked and sat beside her.
"Do you wish me to start again?" asked Magnus.
"No," a prompt reply came from Alora’s mouth.
"Really?" Magnus teased as he trailed his hand to her breast. He watched the movements of her eyes and heard the beating of her heart. "Why does your body tell a different story to me?" he asked and leaned close to her ear.
Magnus wasted no time in nipping her earlobe, causing her to let out a sweet, low cry.
Alora knew her body defied her words and she found herself giving in to the pleasure once again forming inside her. However, Magnus stooped and sat next to her.
She smiled as she realized he only teased her. "Are you well now?" Alora picked up the bar of herbal soap and gently applied it on Magnus’s shoulders, followed by the back.
"Yes," he responded. "I’m glad you held me back and didn’t let me go last night."
"I promised to stay by your side until my last breath. I will never let Prince Magnus feel alone," Alora said with a smile.
~~~~
"Gabriel, what are you doing here in this early morning?" Izaak asked as he encountered him outside the residence.
"Greetings to Your Highness," Gabriel said as he bowed to the eldest Vampire Prince. "I was here to report to Prince Magnus about an important matter," he stated.
"What matter?" Izaak arched his eyebrow with curiosity.
"The attack on Princess Alora, I’ve gathered some more information about it," Gabriel said he felt Izaak didn’t know regarding this matter. "I will His Highness later." He stepped ahead when Izaak stopped him.
"Why don’t you tell me what have you found out?" Izaak queried and appeared right in front of his eyes. When Gabriel didn’t do that, Izaak compelled him to do so.
"A vampire has planned the attack on Princess Alora," Gabriel revealed.
"Who?" Izaak furrowed his brows together.
"Harris Klement," Gabriel replied.
"Isn’t he the son of the Chief Council Head?" Izaak questioned him.
"Yes," Gabriel answered.
"Hmm. If Magnus finds out about this, he will kill Harris. What do you think will happen then?" Izaak asked for his opinion.
"Probably, the noble vampires will turn against the royal family," Gabriel truthfully asserted. "However, this information must reach Prince Magnus’s ears," he added.
"I will tell him. You may leave," Izaak replied.
"Forgive me, Your Highness, but I’ve to tell Prince Magnus about this myself. Prince Izaak can discuss with his brother what he finds is right. Please allow me to do my job," Gabriel said in his humble tone.
"Magnus will never listen to me. That’s why I want you to avoid seeing him," Izaak affirmed, standing his ground.
However, he didn’t budge as Izaak continued. "Fine. Go ahead and inform your dear friend about this," Izaak said, his tone laced with taunting sarcasm.
"Your Highness, I believe you should accompany me as well. Together, we can prevent Prince Magnus from taking direct action against Harris," Gabriel suggested, trying to convince Izaak to join him.
Izaak rolled his eyes in exasperation. "He won’t listen to us, but it’s worth a try," he muttered before leading the way inside the residence, with Gabriel following closely behind.
Chapter 69: Fighting like the kids
**Thank you Merci for 7 GTs**
"Brother Izaak, you expect me to spare the man who wished to harm Alora!" Magnus chuckled incredulously, his tone tinged with disbelief. He shot a glare at Gabriel, questioning why he had disclosed this matter to Izaak in the first place.
"Prince Izaak compelled me," Gabriel replied, his brows furrowed in frustration at being put in this predicament.
"If you kill him, have you considered the consequences?" Izaak interjected, urging Magnus to think about the aftermath of his actions.
"Why should I care about that?" Magnus exclaimed as he stood up from the couch, his decision was firm. He decided to follow his instincts in the moment – to punish Harris with death.
"Magnus, you cannot do that. You know well how the vampires regard Alora. Interrogate Harris first instead of seeking his life," Izaak urged, attempting to reason with him.
"Izaak, I appreciate your advice, but I have no intention of sparing that bastard," Magnus asserted firmly. He was resolute in his decision to end Harris’s life.
"Bring Harris here," Magnus ordered Tobias, who was also present in the scene. He bowed and was ready to leave when Izaak stopped him.
"You don’t care about the consequences, but I do. Harris Klement won’t be punished to death. This is my order to you," Izaak, being the eldest Vampire prince, used his decision-making authority above Magnus.
He clenched his fists, ready to fight with Izaak. As Magnus pinned his elder brother to the nearest wall, he frowned while his pupil colors changed. "Don’t compel me to fight with you on this. Stay out of my matter," Magnus pronounced.
Izaak held Magnus’s forearm, which was pressed on his neck. He pushed him away using his strength. Magnus quickly balanced himself when Gabriel asked the two princes to stop quarreling with each other. Tobias, too, asked Magnus to calm down.
The small table, which had a vase above it broke down and the vase shattered into pieces. Magnus picked up the candle stand to throw at Izaak, who easily dodged it.
Izaak, too, was ready to throw a wooden chair at Magnus when a familiar voice reverberated in the hall.
"What’s going on here?" Alora loudly said. She was in her blindfold with a basket, filled with flowers, hanging on her forearm. Alora’s personal attendant, Selvina, kept her hand on her arm for support.
"Your Highness, they are fighting like kids. You should look at the condition of the living hall," Gabriel was quick to complain to Alora.
"That’s not needed. We are fine, Sister-in-law," Izaak said in his humble tone.
"Selvina, please hold this," Alora urged as she took off the basket from her forearm. Selvina grabbed it while Alora opened the knots of her blindfold. The scene unfolded before her and she was shocked to see the broken items in the hall.
"Did any of the princes get hurt?" Alora asked.
"No. We are fine," Magnus replied. "You should go upstairs," he stated, rubbing his fingers against his forehead.
"What was the matter? Why did both the princes start such a quarrel?" Alora demanded the explanation behind it.
Izaak glanced at Magnus, who read his thoughts.
"Magnus wants to–"
"I want him to leave my residence," Magnus interrupted his elder brother in the middle.
"You should tell her the truth. After all, Alora should decide what to do with Harris Klement," Izaak didn’t let Magnus keep the truth from Alora.
"What does Prince Izaak mean?" she queried. Her eyes again shifted to Magnus, seeking an answer from her.
"Harris Klement is the one, who instructed you to attack on you. The rogue werewolf was paid to kill you," Magnus briefed her. "I want to punish him to death, but Brother Izaak thinks I shouldn’t do that. Harris belongs to a noble vampire family," he explained.
Alora was stunned to learn the truth.
"That won’t be a wise decision. If Harris dies, the noble vampires will turn against us. We cannot have a conflict with them. I told Magnus to think calmly, but he lost his temper," Izaak complained to Alora.
Magnus couldn’t believe his brother and friend both involved Alora in this. He glared at the two of them.
"Princess Alora, what do you think is better? Should Harris be punished to death or should he be questioned first?" Gabriel asked for her opinion.
"Gabriel, stay quiet." Magnus gritted his teeth at him.
"Many died that day, including the one who served me for many years," Alora said as she lowered her head. She still remembered the cries and screams of the people from that night.
"But you remained unharmed and that is what matters," Izaak said.
"I agree with Prince Izaak," Gabriel supported the eldest prince.
"So, their lives mean nothing to both of you?" Alora questioned them.
"Many die every day," Izaak stated.
"They were my people," Alora replied. "I will leave the decision on Prince Magnus. What he feels is right will happen," she affirmed, looking into Magnus’s eyes. She had faith in her husband. She also wanted justice for the deceased people.
"I cannot believe you are making us fight the nobles," Izaak remarked.
"Stop taunting my wife. I cannot let go of Harris’s wrongdoings. He sent a werewolf to attack the humans, creating tension between the two species. Just because Harris is from a noble family, doesn’t mean his crime should be overlooked," Magnus stated as his decision clearly resounded in his words.
"Tobias, send a summon to Harris Klement. I want to see him urgently," Magnus said and he came to Alora. Giving her the basket back, he told Izaak, "You should stop saving such bastards. You have the authority to change the laws in a better way," he advised Izaak and glared at Gabriel for supporting such a decision.
"Brother Izaak, I will make sure no rift is created between the royals and the nobles. Forgive me, if my words have hurt you," Alora said as she felt Izaak too wanted the good of Magnus.
"Sure. I trust you," Izaak said and left the hall.
Chapter 70: He has a mate, Alora
"Who fights like that with his own elder brother? Prince Magnus could have talked calmly with Brother Izaak. Whatever he said wasn’t wrong either," Alora scolded Magnus for not thinking once before attacking Izaak.
She turned around with a glass of water in her hand. "Why is His Highness silent now?" Shouldn’t he explain himself?" She peered into his eyes, demanding an explanation.
"Izaak was the wrong one there, so we ended up fighting," Magnus said.
"It’s hard to believe a 300-year-old vampire acted like a kid," Alora taunted him and drank the water. As she sat the glass on the table, she told Magnus he needed to keep his anger in control.
"My anger was in control, that’s why Izaak didn’t bleed," Magnus muttered.
"Your Highness, how could you speak in such a way? Please refrain from using such words for your own big brother," she urged. While she knew that Magnus reacted in such a way because Izaak asked him to not punish Harris Klement.
"Alora, let’s end the debate on this. I am in no mood to talk about Isaak," Magnus said as he leaned back on the recliner. They both heard a knock on the door, followed by Selvina’s voice.
"Your Highness, someone is here to see Princess Alora."
Both of them glanced at each other when Magnus made his way out. Alora followed him and found out an unknown woman wanted to see her. "Bring her here," Magnus instructed Selvina, who bowed and walked away.
"Who could come to see me? Except for my family, I don’t know anyone," Alora said, feeling anxious.
"We will find out after we see her," Magnus replied and saw her wearing the blindfold. He took her to the sofa and made her sit on it while he himself took a seat next to her.
Selvina entered the living room with the woman, gesturing for her to proceed. Magnus’s gaze shifted to the woman, and his eyes widened in astonishment as she removed her hood, revealing her identity.
"Why are you here, Venus? How dare you show your face to me?" Magnus’s mood soured instantly. After the altercation with Izaak, he was already in a foul mood, and Venus’s unexpected presence only added to his frustration.
"Venus!" Alora quickly left her seat to hear that she was the one who wanted to see her.
Magnus pulled her down, holding her hand tightly. "Leave before I have to kick you out," he ordered with scrunched brows.
"Your Highness, please don’t say that. Let’s hear out what Venus has to say," Alora requested him.
"There is nothing left to hear. Take her away from my sight," Magnus commanded Selvina, asking Alora to stay quiet.
Venus lifted her gown slightly before sinking to her knees. "I beg for Prince Magnus’s forgiveness, and that of my sister’s too. I realize I’ve made a terrible mistake. I should have listened to Alora and..." Her voice faltered as tears welled up in her eyes.
Despite Venus’s pleading, Magnus remained unmoved. He had little to no faith in her sincerity, knowing her propensity for deception. Meanwhile, Alora’s compassionate nature compelled her to consider helping her sister.
"No, Alora. We will let her suffer. I won’t aid Venus," Magnus declared firmly, preempting any request for assistance from Alora.
Alora was quick to remove her blindfold. She peered at her husband and said, "Don’t say that, Magnus. Can’t you hear my sister is suffering?" Alora got anxious. She wished to go to Venus and hug her, but Magnus didn’t let her.
"I suffered too when Venus said such harsh words to you. I’ll be upset with you if you ask me to help your evil sister," Magnus stated and tilted his head to look at Venus with a grim expression on his face.
"Prince Magnus, I have to say that, or else Eugene might have harmed me later," Venus said, presenting her stance to them.
"What about the time you treated Alora in the worst possible way? You even wished for her death, didn’t you?" Magnus frowned at her. "You married in that family with your sole decision. So, you need to find a way on your own or take the help of your father," he advised Venus and stood up to walk away.
"Your Highness, for my sake please listen to Venus once. I beg you," Alora pleaded with him this time as she held his hand.
"Harris has come, Magnus!" Izaak entered the living room when he was surprised to see the scene before him. Venus’s presence left him stunned.
Magnus gazed at Alora, his tone firm as he spoke, "For your sake and well-being, I will not aid Venus. Send her away before I return, or I won’t speak to you."
He knew he had to take a strict stance this time, prioritizing his wife’s safety and happiness over any sentiment towards Venus, whom he recognized as inherently malevolent.
With a decisive motion, Magnus withdrew his hand and exited the living room, with Izaak trailing behind.
Venus let out a resigned sigh, acknowledging the consequences of her past actions catching up with her. Meanwhile, Alora observed Venus’s subdued demeanor and, without hesitation, she covered her eyes with the blindfold before beckoning Venus to approach her.
"Tell me everything. I will do everything to save you, Venus. I will make sure Prince Magnus agrees to help you," Alora declared with unwavering determination, her heart filled with compassion for her sister. She instructed Selvina to assist Venus in reaching the sofa, where they could converse more comfortably.
Venus rose from the floor, her gratitude evident as she approached Alora. Taking a seat on the sofa opposite her sister, Venus expressed her thanks for Alora’s kindness and willingness to listen to her.
"I always hated you, Alora. But in the end, I came to you seeking your help. No one can save me from the werewolves except for you. I was wrong that day. I wish I had listened to you," Venus confessed through her tears, her admission stirring a mix of emotions within Alora.
Concern etched across her features, Alora gently inquired, "What did Eugene do to you?"
"He has a mate, Alora, and he wishes to bring her home. Because Eugene’s mate doesn’t belong to a good family, he will keep her as his mistress. I am merely a wife for him to flaunt his social status to those around him," Venus revealed between sobs while showing her anguish with her words.
