Ch. 156..160: Trapped in a Secret Marriage with a Dangerous Billionaire Chapter 156-160
Chapter 156: The Kind of Protein He wanted
Aurora retracted her hand and glanced at the table with confusion laced in her brows. Grilled turkey was the only protein available at their table.
Thinking that he wanted other options like beef, pork of fish, she quickly shifted her gaze to him and listed out the options.
"The kitchen can prepare them within five minutes. So, which one do you want?"
Xander stared at her for a moment before the corner of his lips lifted in a smirk. "I don’t want any of that option. I want a different kind of protein."
"What kind do you want?" Aurora asked, still looking confused, but ready to satisfy his craving since she was all ready to please him after he had gone through a difficult day.
Xander held her gaze before slowly dropping it to her chest and deliberately stalled there longer than three seconds so she could understand what he meant.
"I want those kinds of proteins," he said to her.
Aurora slowly followed his gaze until it stopped at her chest. Immediately she realized what he wanted, and heat crept up her face.
To think that the man she was worried about and pitied still had the time to pull her legs at this time. Aurora was simply amazed by his ability to quickly shift the gears.
"Xander, you can’t be serious," Aurora said to him and returned to eating her food, but he refused to give her space.
"Weren’t you fusing over me some minutes ago, looking ready to take care of my needs? What happened now that I’ve told you how I want to relax? You don’t want to do it?" He asked.
Aurora ignored him as he proceeded to pester her without reason. He didn’t even mind abandoning his food just to tease her and when she noticed that he had stopped eating, she quickly compromised.
Obviously, Xander was her big baby and if she didn’t take care of him as his wife, who else would?
"Finish the food on your plate first, and we can continue the conversation after you have had a shower."
Xander smirked as a satisfactory smile crossed his lips. "You deserve an award."
Aurora’s lips twitched. "I know," she muttered under her breath.
The rest of the dinner continued in silence as a serious expression returned to Xander’s face, his mind racing with different thoughts concerning taking Dante Group forward.
Aurora also noticed the air that surrounded him and wished that he would continue to tease her having realised that there was something more bugging him.
Soon, dinner came to an end and they both went upstairs to freshen up. Since Aurora had already had her bath, she went into the walk-in closet to pick a new set of loungewear for Xander who was currently taking a shower.
By the time Xander was done bathing and dressing up in the clothes Aurora had picked for him and stepped into the room, surprise hit him.
The scented aroma from the candles Aurora had lit all around hit him and instantly, a smile appeared on his lips.
"Sweetheart, what is this occasion for?" he inquired as he walked towards Aurora who had just lit the last scented candle.
Aurora set the lighter down on the table and turned to him with a smile. "If you don’t mind, and you are not ready to go to bed, I can give you a massage."
Xander raised a curious brow. "How can I say no to my darling wife? Having your hands on my body is more than I can ask for tonight."
Xander was genuinely happy with Aurora’s treatment. He loved her feminine energy as she took care of him from the time he returned from work up till this moment.
He also liked that she picked out his clothes for him and wanted her to continue doing so once in a while therefore, he hinted at it.
Aurora gestured for Xander to move to the end and as he did so, he commended her. "You are really thoughtful to know how well this black silky loungewear suits me. You have a good eye."
"Thank you," Aurora smiled as she opened a bottle of scented oil that had been in her possession. "I hope you don’t mind smelling like me tonight?"
"I will be sleeping in your bosom tonight, what difference does it make?" Xander asked as he slowly undid the button of his shirt.
Aurora chuckled at his silliness and poured some of the scented oil on her palms and rubbed it together and immediately, their room was filled with a sweet aromatic scent that automatically relaxed Xander’s nerves.
Aurora made Xander hold the bottle of oil for her before climbing onto the bed to kneel behind him. Next, she gently put her palms on his shoulders and started with a slow caress to spread the oil over his back before moving on to knead his shoulders.
"My hands are probably too soft for you. I’m sorry if I can’t meet the standards of the masseurs," Aurora apologized as she tried to apply pressure on his shoulders.
Xander shut his eyes and replied with a smile that spread across his face, "Your hands are just perfect, Sweetheart. Please, go on."
Although Aurora couldn’t see his face, she could certainly tell he enjoyed the massage from his tone, so she was encouraged and put more pressure.
She massaged him from his shoulders all the way to his lower back and at a point, she took more oil from him and made him lie on the bed with his stomach so she could get the right angles.
After a while, Aurora made Xander sit up again and continued to massage his shoulders while engaging him in a lighthearted conversation that drew a deep throaty chuckle from his lips.
"I think I’m done," Aurora announced, placing a soft kiss on both sturdy shoulders as she withdrew her hand, intending to get off from her kneeling position. But just as she made the first move, Xander grabbed one of her arms and pulled her into his thighs.
A soft yelp escaped Aurora’s lips as her gaze widened briefly. But as she met his smiling gaze, she relaxed and returned the smile.
Chapter 157: Denying Him Her Body
Aurora wrapped her arms around his waist as he cradled her head with one hand.
"You are the most beautiful woman in my heart," Xander smiled as he held her close. Aurora’s eyes turned to a crescent moon as they exchanged gazes and words in the beautiful silence that enveloped them.
Xander leaned in to capture her lips softly as his free hand sneaked inside her top. A giggle escaped Aurora’s lips in between the kiss and Xander swallowed them all with a lingering smile on his lips.
Finally, when he released her lips, he looked her in the eyes and said, "I’m trying to get my proteins now. Can I?"
"You had a long day at work. Shouldn’t you get some rest?" Although Aurora was trying to distract him and get him off her body, she was genuinely worried about him.
"I feel rejuvenized after a cold shower. Besides, I’m used to pressure," he said to her, but seeing the doubt in her expression, he added, "You have no idea of the kind of training and drills I received in the military. Really, I can work well under pressure. Also running a company is interesting."
Aurora scoffed. "Is it fun trying to revive a dying company?" she asked, trying to understand his thoughts.
"It’s definitely not fun, but I can assure you that it’s thrilling when it happens." Xander clarified.
Seeing that they had entered the subject of DANTE Group, Aurora decided to use the opportunity to probe him about his day. She asked for the details regarding the meeting with the investors, and he filled her in on the events.
"What does your family have to say regarding removing Owen from the company?" Aurora asked, catching his disobedient hand that was moving from one boob to the other and holding it in place.
"They don’t have a say," Xander said, trying to free his hand from her gasp, but she held his freedom down as her life depended on it. A soft cackle escaped his lips as he continued, "I run the company, and they follow my lead. There is no argument there."
Aurora sighed in relief. She would hate to see him fight with his family over it. As if Xander knew what she was thinking about, he said, "I already issued a warning to them the last time. I gave my final warning. It was left to them to do the right thing, but they all did as they pleased. Now that I have made a decision, none of them have any right to utter a contrary word."
Aurora agreed with him.
After talking about the important things, Xander helped Aurora to sit up. She just followed his lead, thinking that he was tired and wanted to go to bed. But surprisingly, he grabbed the hem of her top and pulled it up towards her chest.
"Xander!" her voice cautioned she tried to stop him but all her efforts proved abortive as he overpowered her and pulled the top off her head, leaving her upper body nude.
Aurora’s hands quickly moved up to wrap around her chest, hiding her boobs from him. Next, she lifted her gaze and glared daggers at him.
"Sweetheart, no matter how hard you glare at me, I must have my proteins tonight," Xander spoke in a matter of fact as he pushed her polo to one side of the bed and adjusted his sitting position.
Though there was a playful grin on his lips, Aurora knew that he meant every word he said to her, but she still wanted to put up a fight with him.
Xander tried to tug her arms away from her chest, but she held on strong. He felt like laughing as he watched her attempt to get away from him. "Are you going to deny your husband your body?" he asked as he gave her a meaningful gaze, trying to seduce her with his eyes.
"I’m tired and want to sleep," Aurora claimed, refusing to meet his gaze. Her position made it difficult for her to lift herself up without any support from her hands. And as taking her hands off her boobs would put her in more danger, she could only subject herself to the discomfort in the meantime.
Xander refused to believe her lies. "You were just talking about business matters with me. How come you suddenly got tired huh?"
"It just happened," Aurora said, meeting his gaze this time around.
Xander was quiet for a moment as he thought of ways to trick her. He didn’t want to go through the challenging route of overpowering her with his physical abilities, but in the end, he decided to take things easy.
Right as she was in that awkward position, he lifted her and altered their position so she could lie on his bare chest. "You know what I want and how my day went. How can you bear to make things difficult for me."
Seeing that he had resorted to making peace, Aurora calmed down and slowly removed her arms from around her chest, letting her boobs press onto his warm body. "Can you be a little gentle tonight? My boobs hurt a bit. I think my period will come tomorrow or next."
As soon as Xander heard about her period, he let out a low groan. "Urggh... I have been so preoccupied these last two days that I forgot to keep an eye on your monthly cycle. But you shouldn’t have reminded me. Now, we have to wait until five or six days before we can do it."
"But we can do it now if you want," Aurora countered as her suggestive gaze met his. "No, I had no plans for sex tonight unless you want it. I only wanted your boobs. They are the best natural stress-relief remedy God ever created for husbands," Xander replied as his fingers moved to caress her bare back in a slow circular motion.
Aurora chuckled softly, finding it interesting with his choice of words and the way he spoke. "So, you don’t want sex, but you want my boobs? Well, you can have them tonight as long as they can comfort you."
Chapter 158: Having His Fill
As soon as Xander heard that, the smile on his lips reached his eyes and without wasting time, he turned her over and laid down on his side before groping her left boob. And thanks to her earlier warning, he was gentle with his touch.
Xander leaned in to capture her right nipple in his mouth as soon as it touched his tongue, he melted. A soft sigh of relief escaped his lips.
At the same time, a small smile of satisfaction bloomed on Aurora’s face as she crossed her arms on his back and offered slow caresses a few times.
"I wonder how you would cope when I’m nursing our kids. You would have to wait for at least a year before you can suck my boobs again," she said to him as her gaze strayed to the war, her mind trying to picture that moment. "Or are you going to fight for milk with your children?"
Xander didn’t answer her question immediately. He nuzzled the area between her two boobs for a moment before answering her question. "We would have to wait until that time to find out," he said in a low husky tone.
As soon as he finished, he lowered his head and latched onto her left nipple. He sucked it hungrily and flicked his tongue against it, earning a soft moan from her lips.
Finally, he heard the sound he had been anticipating as she could finally stop talking and enjoy the romantic moment.
"Darling, don’t take things too far. If you turn me on, you will have to finish what you’ve started," she warned as she stared at the back of his head.
Instead of answering her with his voice, Xander repeated the same move that elicited the moan from her lips, proof that he didn’t mind satisfying her urge tonight.
Xander sucked and caressed Aurora’s boobs for a little while longer before finally straightening his back. He looked her in the eyes hungrily as his fingers slowly moved to the waistband of her pants.
"Let’s see the work of my hands," he teased. Surprisingly, Aurora didn’t protest. She allowed him to pull her pants off her waist and lower his lips to kiss the area below her belly button.
"Why do you wear panties to sleep?" Xander inquired as his lips moved to the spot where the waistband of her panties stopped. Aurora wriggled under him as she answered the question. "No particular reason."
When Xander lifted his gaze again, he used one hand to part her thighs before putting another in between her legs to touch that soft spot. A gasp of pleasure escaped Aurora’s lips and immediately, she arched her back.
A triumphant smile appeared on Xander’s lips and at the same time, he withdrew his hand. "Sweetheart, you seem ready for me, but let’s continue in the morning. I’m a bit tired and won’t be able to last long."
Auroa’s back relaxed on the bed as he finally admitted to being too exhausted to perform that night. Moreover, his mind was still in disarray, trying to come up with a more strategic move to help facilitate DANTE Group’s next tech release.
He had only managed to placate the investors but if they waited for a few days and saw no results, they would be at his neck once again, and Xander didn’t think he would have that kind of time for them.
He was also busy gathering information for his next secret mission and soon, he would have to temporarily leave for it. He was too preoccupied to waste even a second of his time anymore on anyone except his precious wife.
As Xander lay beside Aurora on the bed, he brought her into his embrace and released a deep sigh. Just the softness of her chest against his brought him more than enough comfort for the night.
"Sweetheart, although I’m good at multitasking, just in case I neglect you emotionally, please don’t hesitate to call my attention. You are far more important to me than any other thing in this life. Okay?"
Aurora nodded in acceptance as a small smile graced her lips. She placed a palm at the centre of his chest as she rested her head on his arm.
---
In the morning, Aurora woke up to Xander’s boner pinching her inner thigh. She let out a soft sigh, but just as she lifted her gaze, she caught him watching her and immediately, the corners of his lips stretched into a smile.
"Good morning, Sweetheart," he greeted and soon, he rolled over and was now on top of her. "We still have some time. Let’s have a quickie."
"Good morning," Aurora returned his greeting as she watched him from that angle. She had thought he was joking last night when he said they would continue this morning. It turned out that he meant business and was patiently waiting for her to wake up in other to get right down to business.
Just as he said, Xander only took Aurora once before ejaculating on her thighs. It was almost difficult for him to try the pullout game as he didn’t have the time to wear a condom. Also, luckily, Aurora was already on birth control.
---
Aurora and Xander showered together and got dressed in their work attire before going down to the dining table to have breakfast.
Xander also used that opportunity to inform Aurora about the invitation he received from the Presidential House regarding the Royal family of Octavia’s state visit while at work the previous day.
"We are going together, as husband and wife," he clarified, looking into Aurora’s eyes as he bit into his toasted bread.
Aurora tilted her head to the side as she raised a brow. "You are officially announcing to everyone that I am your wife?"
"Yes," Xander confirmed with a nod. "There is no need to keep the secret anymore since we have achieved all our goals. But do let me know if you have some reservations so we can work things out because I really want to take you with me to the state dinner."
Aurora smiled and expressed that she had no objectives to his decision since she had also been thinking of this very day for a long while.
"Good," Xander said and brushed a kiss on her forehead.
Chapter 159: Aurora’s Exclusive Interview with Vogue
A few days later, the day for Aurora’s exclusive interview with Vogue arrived.
Aurora stepped out of the sleek black car, her aura commanding as always, with Nene by her side, holding a beautiful tote bag. The venue was buzzing with activity—photographers adjusting their equipment, stylists discussing last-minute details, and Rachel Lee herself waiting at the entrance to welcome her guest.
"Director. Swift, it’s such a pleasure to have you here," Rachel greeted warmly, extending a hand.
Aurora smiled graciously, shaking her hand. "Thank you for inviting me. It’s an honour to be here," she said, amazed by the warm welcome.
Rachel gestured toward the entrance. "We’ve prepared everything to make this as seamless and enjoyable for you as possible. Let me show you around."
The venue was an upscale photo studio with modern décor and elegant floral arrangements to complement Aurora’s sophisticated style. A luxurious private dressing room was prepared for Aurora, filled with her favourite refreshments and scented candles for comfort.
And as Rachel showed Aurora around, she revealed details of the photoshoot. The photo shoot featured multiple setups, including a glamorous champagne bar to highlight her Fruit Punch Champagne.
Aurora also needed to wear high-end outfits by renowned designers like Dior, Valentino, and Chanel. More attention was paid to the lighting to enhance her natural elegance, making her the centre of attention.
Inside, Aurora was ushered into the private dressing room. The space exuded luxury, with plush seating, a vanity mirror surrounded by lights, and a table adorned with fresh flowers and her favourite refreshments.
Nene helped her settle in as the team entered, introducing themselves with polite enthusiasm. The hair and makeup artists worked their magic, enhancing Aurora’s natural beauty while maintaining her sophisticated look.
When it was time for the photo shoot, Aurora emerged dressed in a stunning Valentino gown. The fabric shimmered under the studio lights as the photographer captured her in various poses, each one exuding elegance and power.
---
The photoshoot progressed smoothly, with outfit changes that showcased her versatility—from a structured Dior suit that highlighted her as a business mogul to a flowing Chanel gown that exuded timeless femininity.
Finally, a special moment arrived when a dress from Asher’s designer collection was brought out. The gown was a masterpiece—sleek, modern, and tailored to perfection. Aurora’s eyes sparkled as she slipped into it, appreciating the thoughtfulness of Xander’s dear friend.
She had no idea that she would be wearing one of Asher’s handcrafted brands which was specifically created for her grand exclusive interview today. Aurora felt how thoughtful Asher was by his actions.
"Stunning," Rachel remarked, watching Aurora adjust the gown. "It’s like it was made for you."
Aurora smiled, her confidence evident. "Asher has impeccable taste."
---
The interview was set in a chic lounge area, the soft lighting creating a cozy yet professional atmosphere. Aurora crossed her legs elegantly as she took her seat, her demeanour poised yet approachable.
Rachel began with a warm smile. "Aurora, let me start by saying it’s incredible to have you here. Your Fruit Punch Champagne has taken the market by storm. Can you share the story behind it?"
Aurora leaned forward slightly, her expression thoughtful. "Fruit Punch Champagne was born out of a desire to create something unique—something that celebrates diversity and creativity. The idea to blend traditional champagne elegance with bold, tropical flavours came during a brainstorming session. And it was all thanks to someone whom I hold so dearly. It wasn’t an easy journey, but seeing the champagne succeed has been incredibly rewarding."
Rachel nodded, clearly impressed. "What were some of the challenges you faced?"
Aurora’s eyes glimmered with determination. "Convincing people to take a chance on something unconventional. There were moments of doubt, but I believed in the vision. And, of course, finding the right balance of flavours took lots of trial and error."
The conversation flowed smoothly as Rachel delved into Aurora’s accomplishments, asking about her future plans and how she balanced work and life. Then came the curveball.
"Aurora, you’ve achieved so much professionally, but your audience is curious—do you see yourself settling down soon?"
Aurora’s smile widened slightly, her tone light yet firm. "I’ve already settled down. I’m married."
The room fell silent, the crew exchanging shocked glances. Rachel’s jaw dropped momentarily before she composed herself. "Married?" she echoed, her voice tinged with disbelief.
"Yes," Aurora confirmed, her gaze steady.
Rachel leaned forward, intrigued. "When did this happen? And who is the lucky man?"
Aurora chuckled softly. "It happened quietly, a while ago in Venice, Italy. My husband is Xander Scott."
Gasps rippled through the crew. Rachel’s eyes widened. "Xander Scott? As in, the CEO of Dante Group?"
Aurora nodded gracefully. "The very one."
Rachel regrouped quickly, her professionalism shining through. "That’s incredible. You’ve kept this a secret so well. Was it difficult to balance such a high-profile marriage with your career?"
"Not really," Aurora said thoughtfully. "Xander is incredibly supportive. He respects my ambitions and encourages me to pursue my goals. We’ve found a balance that works for us."
"And let me guess, your husband was that special someone that helped you come up with Fruit Punch Champagne, right?" Rachel inquired, her interest sparked.
Aurora nodded proudly as that spectacular moment from the past replayed in her head.
"Can I call you Mrs. Scott now?" Rachel teased with a twinkle in her eyes.
"Of course, you can," Aurora nodded approvingly as her lips released a lighthearted chuckle.
"Mrs. Scott, is there a special reason why you decided to reveal your secret marriage and the identity of your husband today?" Rachel asked, lifting a curious brow.
Aurora shook her head with a smile. "There is no special reason. Even I’m surprised at myself for finally dropping the bomb as it hadn’t come across my mind to do it."
The interview continued with a blend of professional and personal questions, Aurora handling each one with her trademark poise. By the end, Rachel was visibly impressed.
"Thank you for sharing so much with us today," Rachel said warmly. "You’re truly an inspiration."
Aurora smiled, her gratitude genuine. "Thank you for having me. It’s been a pleasure."
---
As Aurora left the venue, Nene by her side, she couldn’t help but reflect on the day. The photo shoot, the interview, the surprise reveal—it all felt like a turning point, a moment where she had fully stepped into her power.
And as the car drove away, Aurora knew one thing for certain—this was only the beginning.
Chapter 160: Full Support
"Ma’am, you finally revealed the secret. How do you feel about it?" Nene asked as a small smile graced her lips. She was incredibly proud of her mistress for finally slipping out of her shell.
"Truth be told," Aurora smiled, shifting her gaze to her. "I feel like the world revolves around me now."
For a moment, she allowed herself to feel like the most important person in the world. And it wasn’t a bad thing to indulge in that dream for a minute.
Aurora wasn’t bothered revealing her relationship with Xander during her interview even though he planned to publicly announce their relationship during the state dinner. She had checked the timing for when the Vogue issue would be released and the state dinner and had discovered that it would be on the same day.
The only thing she had to do right now was to inform Xander about it so he would be well aware just in case he had other plans.
A deep sigh escaped Aurora’s lips as she looked out through the window of the car, a small smile gracing her lips. She felt proud and confident in herself.
---
At the other end, Olivia was finally released from the hospital and instead of going back to the Scott family residence, she returned to the Swift residence with her mother.
Stephanie was surprised when she returned home from work and saw her lying on one of the couches in the living room eating pomegranates.
Olivia saw her come in and greeted her casually before moving her gaze back to the TV.
"Are you here to spend the weekend and get some rest?" Stephanie inquired as she settled on the single couch.
"No, Aunt. I’m here for good," Olivia replied without taking her eyes off the Television. "I’m serious about divorcing Owen, and I have sent the divorce papers to him. I will be going to the Scott residence to pick it up along with my things on Monday evening."
Stephanie released a deep sigh. "I hope you would be very careful this time around with men and seriously look into anyone who comes to you again."
As soon as Olivia heard that, she cast her glance at her. "I won’t be making such choices in the future. I have left everything for my mother to take care of."
Stephanie nodded and told her to rest up before leaving the room. Although her emotions didn’t reveal anything, she knew Stella must be up to something with Olivia’s next marriage partner, and couldn’t wait to find out what it was.
---
As Aurora returned home, she asked about Xander and learnt that he was in his study, so she went to meet him there.
She knocked softly on the door and let herself in and as soon as she walked in, he lifted his gaze as a smile contoured his face.
"You are back?" How was the interview?" Xander asked, standing to his feet and stepping out from behind his desk with his arms spread apart.
Aurora smiled as she came over. She first put her bag down on his desk before entering his embrace. "It was wonderful, and I had a lot of fun," she said as his strong arms wrapped around her waist.
"I’m glad you had fun," he said, pressing a soft kiss on her forehead. "Let’s sit over there so you can tell me everything," he said, pointing at the sitting area after releasing her from his embrace.
Though Xander had been working on something before she came in, he didn’t think twice before abandoning it just to give his attention to her and talk about her day with her.
Aurora was grateful for that move and didn’t bother reminding him about his work. She followed his lead to the sitting area and sat down next to him on the two-sitter couch.
As soon as they settled down, she started telling her story from the time she arrived at the venue. She couldn’t stop smiling as she recounted the scenes in full detail. She also repeated the interview questions and the answers she gave.
Right now, Aurora seemed like a teenager speaking about her crush to her mother.
Xander levelled her with a proud smile as he listened attentively to her. He put an arm on her shoulder and drew her in. But when he learned that she revealed about their marriage during the course of the interview, he paused for a moment.
Thinking that he was mad at her for doing that, Aurora’s mood dampened, and she sought to explain herself, but Xander didn’t give her the chance.
"You gave Rachel Lee such an exclusive and unexpected information, she must have been very happy," Xander spoke from above her head and instead of getting angry, he smiled which was surprising to Aurora.
She lifted her head and said, "I thought you were mad at me?"
"Sweetheart, why would I be mad at you?" Xander’s brows furrowed slightly as he observed her face, and that was when he noticed that she looked sad. "You did the right thing," he said and set on to explain what he meant about the timing and everything else, and only then did a smile return to her face.
"I can already picture the world going crazy when they find out that you belong to me," Xander said thoughtfully. "Me too," Aurora admitted with a chuckle. "The scene has refused to leave my head."
~***~
Monday arrived quickly. Aurora went to work as usual and got started on her day. Towards 10 AM, she went to the winery to check on the new Fruit Punch Champagne flavour and the wine she was working on.
Everything was going so great over there, so she just gave a few pointers and checked the quality control system before returning back to the office.
At noon, she had lunch first before attending a meeting chaired by Stephanie. She talked about the new champagne and its possible release date before mentioning Princess Victoria’s visit which was around the corner.
"I believe we are ready to host the princess and show how why we are the best?" Stephanie asked, looking at everyone before resting her gaze on Aurora.
