Ch. 321..325: Trapped in a Secret Marriage with a Dangerous Billionaire Chapter 321-325
Chapter 321: A Fun Christmas Celebration
The grand lodge was alive with warmth and laughter that evening as the Scott family gathered to decorate the enormous Christmas tree. A crackling fire burned in the grand fireplace, casting a golden glow over the richly decorated space.
The air smelled of fresh pine, cinnamon, and the faintest hint of spiced wine as each family member focused on hanging ornaments and other stringing lights on the huge tree in the living room.
Aurora, seated comfortably on a plush armchair, tied red ribbons around the small golden bells before handing them to Xander to hang higher on the tree. Her baby bump made bending over difficult, and Xander made sure she didn’t try.
By the time the tree was fully decorated, it stood tall and magnificent, sparkling with golden lights, glass ornaments, and shimmering ribbons.
One by one, beautifully wrapped gift boxes were placed underneath. Every family member had carefully prepared their gifts, each one labelled with the recipient’s name.
"Tomorrow evening," Old Mrs. Scott announced, smoothing down her elegant sweater, "we’ll open them together."
The family murmured in agreement, and with that, the Christmas Eve celebrations ended as everyone retired to their rooms for the night.
---
The next morning, Xander, always one step ahead, had already planned something special.
"Let’s go out," he suggested as he helped Aurora into her thick winter coat. "Just the two of us."
Aurora looked up at him, intrigued. "Where are we going?"
"You’ll see."
Soon, they were walking hand-in-hand through the Christmas market in the nearby town. The streets were lined with glowing fairy lights and festive stalls selling everything from handmade ornaments to steaming cups of hot cocoa.
Aurora’s eyes lit up as she took in the cheerful atmosphere. Christmas music played softly in the background, and the scent of roasted chestnuts and caramelized apples filled the air.
They stopped at a little booth selling handcrafted baby clothes, and Aurora couldn’t resist picking up a tiny knitted hat with bear ears.
Xander, watching her with amusement, leaned in. "If you like those ones, let’s pick more."
"What about you, what do you like?" Aurora asked, watching him with a smile. She didn’t just want to be the only one making decisions for their child. She wanted him involved.
"I think we should get both male and female clothes since we aren’t sure of our baby’s gender," Xander suggested.
Aurora chuckled, slipping her arm through his. "Of course.
After an hour of wandering through the stalls, Aurora let out a small sigh, rubbing her lower back.
Xander immediately noticed. "Tired?"
She nodded. "Just a little."
He smirked. "If it weren’t for the bump, I would have carried you on my back."
Aurora laughed at the mental image. "That would have been a disaster."
"True," Xander agreed, leading her to a nearby bench. "Let’s sit for a bit before we head back."
They ended up spending a few more minutes watching the bustling market before returning to the lodge.
---
When they arrived, Aurora noticed something different—the cottages had been adorned with even more Christmas decorations, and classic carols played through the speakers outside.
Inside, the grand sitting area was filled with family members, the warm glow of the Christmas tree reflecting in everyone’s eyes.
The evening started with carol singing, laughter spilling into the room as everyone joined in. Even Old Mr. Scott hummed along, though he kept his usual composed expression.
Afterward, they moved to the grand dining table, where an extravagant feast awaited. A whole roasted turkey, glazed ham, mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, cranberry sauce, and an array of desserts filled the table.
Old Mrs. Scott raised her glass. "A toast," she announced. "This champagne is my favorite... and before anyone asks, yes, it is Aurora’s Fruit Punch Champagne."
Aurora, caught mid-sip of her own fruit punch, nearly choked at the mention. She knew the old lady loved her champagne, but she didn’t think that she would proudly announce it before everyone.
Laughter erupted around the table.
After the feast, everyone gathered around the Christmas tree, where the gifts were handed out according to the names labelled on them.
Each person received at least six gifts, except for Richard, Patricia, Owen, and Juliet, who received fewer. It was clear that Harrison and Eleanor had deliberately left them out.
But Aurora had received the most—ten in total.
Xander had given her two gifts instead of one, and on top of that, she had gifted herself something as well.
Ivy, ever the instigator, let out a low whistle. "Aurora, it looks like you’ve won Christmas."
Aurora chose to ignore her comment and focus on unwrapping her gifts as her heart swelled with appreciation.
After the presents were opened, everyone moved outside to build snowmen.
Every husband was paired with his wife, and the challenge was set—who could make the best snowman?
Despite everyone’s best efforts, Old Mr. and Mrs. Scott won.
The old man lifted his wife’s hand in victory. "We’ve been doing this every year since we were married. Of course, we’d win."
Applause and laughter filled the air.
But the fun didn’t end there.
Aurora, feeling mischievous, started a snowball fight against Xander. At times, she would run and hide behind his parents, laughing as they shielded her.
When it was Xander’s turn, however, they held him down, allowing Aurora to pelt him with snowballs.
As soon as they let him go, Xander dusted the snow off his coat and looked at his parents in mock betrayal. "That wasn’t fair."
Old Mrs. Scott chuckled. "Your wife is pregnant. How could you possibly think of winning against her?"
More laughter followed.
Juliet, on the other hand, stood off to the side, watching with a small frown.
Owen had barely paid her any attention all evening, and when she had tried to pull him into the fun, he had brushed her off.
Now, as she watched Xander and Aurora playfully chase each other through the snow, she felt a bitter sting of jealousy.
Owen had been indifferent to her for most of the trip.
And she hated it.
---
By the time the celebrations ended, Aurora was exhausted.
Back in their cottage, she barely had the energy to change into her nightwear before collapsing into bed.
Xander chuckled, shaking his head as he pulled the duvet over her. "Tired?"
Aurora mumbled something incoherent, her eyes already half-closed.
Xander slid into bed beside her, pulling her into his arms and tucking the covers snugly around them.
As he felt the steady rhythm of her breathing against his chest, he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead.
"Merry Christmas, Sweetheart," he murmured.
Aurora, half-asleep, whispered back, "Merry Christmas, Darling."
And with that, she drifted off into a deep, peaceful sleep, wrapped securely in the warmth of his embrace.
Chapter 322: Aurora Slaps Juliet
The late morning sun poured through the tall windows of the grand dining hall, casting a warm glow over the long mahogany table where the Scott family gathered for breakfast. Unlike the tension-filled meals of previous days, this one was surprisingly peaceful.
The atmosphere was calm, the only sounds being the soft clinking of cutlery against fine China and the occasional murmur of conversation. Perhaps it was the exhaustion from yesterday’s festivities, or perhaps it was the lingering joy of Christmas, but whatever it was, everyone seemed content to simply eat without quarrel.
As the meal neared its end, the older members of the family, including Old Mr. and Mrs. Scott, moved into the sitting area to sip on coffee and tea while chatting in low voices.
Xander and his brothers remained at the table for a while longer, finishing up their food.
Seated beside Xander, Aurora leaned in slightly, lowering her voice to a whisper. "I’m going to sit on the balcony for a bit. The sun is warm, and I could use some fresh air."
Xander immediately turned his head toward her, his dark gaze sweeping over her face as though checking for any signs of discomfort. "Alright," he agreed, but not before adding a firm warning. "If the weather gets colder, come back inside immediately."
Aurora smiled. "I will."
With that, she pushed back her chair, excused herself politely, and walked toward the balcony doors.
The balcony was right outside the living area, spacious and adorned with elegant lounge chairs and a beautiful view of the snow-covered mountains.
Aurora made herself comfortable on one of the reclining chairs, pulling her coat tighter around her as she tilted her face toward the sun. Closing her eyes, she let the warm rays soothe her skin, the crisp air filling her lungs.
Everything was peaceful.
That is, until a distinct floral perfume wafted into the air.
Aurora’s brows twitched slightly. She didn’t need to open her eyes to know who had just taken the seat beside her.
Juliet.
For a brief moment, Aurora considered ignoring her, but then she remembered the past few days—Juliet’s subtle provocations, her smug attitude, and her constant need to test boundaries.
Without turning her head, Aurora spoke, her voice calm but laced with warning. "Juliet, if you’re here to start another round of disrespect, I suggest you leave now because I won’t take it."
Juliet let out a soft chuckle. "Oh, Aurora, you’re thinking too much."
A beat of silence passed, and then Juliet started talking.
"I just wanted to offer my condolences," she said, her tone laced with artificial sympathy. "Your stepmother finally got what she deserved, huh? Life in prison after murdering your father... such a tragic end to a tragic story."
Aurora remained silent, her expression blank.
Juliet took her silence as an invitation to continue. "It’s really quite a pity, don’t you think? The way he died... such a cruel fate. A lesson, really. A warning to men everywhere to be mindful of the kind of women they marry. Otherwise..." She paused, letting her words sink in. "They might just end up like your father."
Aurora’s eyes snapped open.
A frigid silence stretched between them.
Then, in a single, fluid motion, Aurora rose to her feet.
Juliet smirked. "Leaving already?"
But before she could blink—SLAP!
The sound of Aurora’s palm striking Juliet’s cheek rang through the air like a whip.
Juliet let out a startled gasp, clutching the left side of her face as she scrambled to her feet. Her eyes blazed with shock and indignation.
"How dare you hit me?!" she shrieked, her voice shrill with outrage.
Aurora’s expression was ice-cold, her chest rising and falling with steady breaths. "I warned you," she said, her voice dangerously low. "But you just couldn’t help yourself, could you?"
Juliet’s fingers trembled against her burning cheek, her breathing heavy with fury.
A beat later, her anger exploded. She raised her hand, ready to strike back.
But she never got the chance.
Aurora’s hand shot up, catching her wrist in mid-air.
At that exact moment, the balcony doors swung open with force.
Xander walked in. His eyes darkened as he took in the scene—the way Aurora firmly gripped Juliet’s wrist, the furious expression on his wife’s face, and the bright red imprint on Juliet’s cheek. His jaw clenched.
His voice came out low and dangerous. "Were you just trying to hit my wife?"
Juliet froze.
But before she could answer, Richard and Patricia stepped onto the balcony as well, their expressions a mixture of shock and disapproval. Their eyes immediately landed on Juliet’s flushed cheek and Aurora’s deadly calm demeanor.
Richard’s gaze hardened.
Patricia’s tone was sharp. "Juliet," she said coldly. "Were you about to raise your hand against your elder?"
"S-she... h-hit me first!" Juliet stammered.
The balcony door opened again, and Owen stepped out. His eyes widened as he immediately took in the situation. Seeing Juliet’s reddened cheek, his brows furrowed in disbelief.
"What happened?" Owen demanded.
No one spoke.
His mother, Patricia, turned to him, her voice clipped. "Your wife thought she could raise her hand against Aurora."
Owen’s entire body stiffened.
He turned to Juliet sharply. "Who do you think you are?" His voice was laced with barely concealed fury. He didn’t care what had transpired before his appearance, he was furious.
Juliet lowered her head, fiddling with her fingers nervously.
Xander exhaled deeply, his patience running thin. He placed a protective hand on the small of Aurora’s back and gently took her right hand, examining the slight redness from the slap she delivered. His touch was firm yet tender. "Are you okay?" he asked her, his voice soft.
Aurora nodded, still staring at Juliet with barely concealed disdain.
Satisfied, Xander turned his attention back to Owen. His gaze was sharp as a blade. "An insult to my wife is a slap to my face," he said smoothly. "And I won’t tolerate that kind of disrespect—especially from a small-town social climber."
Juliet flinched. She knew exactly who he was referring to.
Owen’s lips parted, as if to say something, but Xander wasn’t done.
"Forget about returning to Dante Group anytime soon," he said coldly. "Consider this your punishment for not teaching your wife properly."
Owen stiffened. "Uncle—"
Xander cut him off with a single look.
Patricia, sensing that her son had just lost yet another opportunity, wanted to intervene. But before she could speak, Xander was already leading Aurora back inside, closing the balcony doors behind them.
The cold wind swirled around Juliet as she stood there, humiliated, her face still burning from Aurora’s slap.
Owen’s voice was sharp when he finally spoke. "You just had to open your mouth, didn’t you?"
Juliet bit her lip, not daring to say a word.
Chapter 323: Juliet Pays for Disrespecting Aurora
Xander led Aurora into their bedroom, his jaw set tight with barely restrained fury. The moment the door clicked shut behind them, he guided her toward the bed.
"Sit," he ordered, already reaching for the digital blood pressure monitor from the nightstand drawer.
Aurora sighed, knowing there was no point in protesting. She sat down, rolling up her sleeve as Xander wrapped the cuff around her arm and pressed the start button.
The machine hummed softly, the numbers appearing on the screen within seconds. Xander’s eyes darkened when he saw the results—her blood pressure was elevated.
"Sweetheart," he said in a warning tone, removing the cuff carefully before setting the device aside. "Lie down for a bit."
"I’m fine, Xander," she muttered.
He shot her a look. "You’re not fine. Your blood pressure is high, and I don’t need the doctor to tell me why. That woman must have really angered you."
Aurora took a deep breath, feeling the tension still thick in her chest. "She didn’t just get to me, Xander. She outright disrespected me."
Xander tucked her under the duvet and smoothed his hand over her stomach. "Rest first, then we’ll talk."
But Aurora wasn’t done.
With her anger still bubbling, she launched into the entire ordeal, from Juliet’s subtle jabs a few days ago to the remarks she made about how bold she was for marrying her ex’s uncle and, finally, to what happened on the balcony.
Aurora’s voice rose slightly as she recounted Juliet’s words. "Who does she think she is? She had the audacity to mention my father’s name in such a disrespectful way?!"
Xander’s expression remained cold, though his fingers were rubbing small circles into her back in an attempt to calm her. "She’s gotten too comfortable," he murmured, his voice dangerously low. "And it’s time she learns her place."
Aurora exhaled sharply, still seething. "I swear, Xander, if she even looks at me the wrong way again, I will—"
"You won’t have to do a thing," Xander cut in smoothly. He tilted her chin up gently, his dark eyes promising retribution. "Owen has already been punished for his choices, but Juliet? She’s going to pay for even thinking she could raise her hand against you."
Before Aurora could respond again, there was a knock on the door.
Xander pulled away and strode over, opening it to reveal one of the servants.
"Master Xander, Madam Aurora," the servant bowed respectfully. "The old couple has requested for you both in the living room."
Xander turned back to Aurora, checking her expression to see if she was ready to face whatever it was they were going to meet downstairs.
Aurora inhaled deeply before nodding. "Let’s go."
Without another word, Xander took her hand and led her out.
---
The moment Aurora and Xander stepped into the grand living room, all eyes turned to her.
At the center of the living room, Juliet was kneeling on the floor.
Her pregnant belly was prominent, but no one in the room seemed to have any sympathy for her.
Old Mrs. Scott stood a few steps away from her, her usually warm expression replaced by a cold, unyielding stare.
The old lady turned toward Aurora the second she and Xander walked in.
"Aurora," she called, her voice steady but firm. "I heard what happened on the balcony." She gestured toward Juliet with a single flick of her wrist. "That’s why I had her kneel."
Aurora’s gaze flickered to Juliet, who kept her head down.
"Now," Old Mrs. Scott continued, gesturing for Aurora to take a seat. "Tell us exactly what happened."
Aurora let out a slow breath, her eyes scanning the room. Everyone was here: Old Mr. Scott, Richard. Patricia. Harrison. Eleanor. Owen.
Aurora sat down gracefully, her back straight as she began. She didn’t hold back.
She started from Juliet’s entitled behaviour on the private jet, how she ignored basic respect, to how she made snide comments about her marriage to Xander a few days ago by saying that she didn’t have to worry about her husband leaving her since she was still glowing despite being pregnant, and then how proceeded to take several personal jabs mentioning her bold she was to marry her ex’s uncle.
The, Aurora moved on to today’s incident.
Aurora’s voice never shook, but as she recounted Juliet’s cruel words about her father, a tense silence settled over the room.
Several heads turned toward Juliet, their expressions ranging from disbelief to disappointment.
Owen, in particular, looked humiliated as he shot her a sharp, chilling glare.
Juliet kept her head low, her fingers trembling slightly.
"And that," Aurora concluded, her voice icy, "was why I slapped her."
A tense pause followed.
Then, Old Mrs. Scott moved. She marched forward, stopping right in front of Juliet.
"Look at me," the old lady commanded.
Juliet hesitated, but when she finally lifted her gaze, her left cheek met with the old lady’s right palm.
The sound echoed through the room as her head jerked to the side.
She immediately pressed her palm against her already reddened cheek, but she dared not make a sound.
Aurora, still seated, blinked in slight surprise. It was her first time seeing the old lady discipline someone herself.
Old Mrs. Scott then turned to Patricia. "Discipline your daughter-in-law."
Patricia’s jaw clenched. She marched forward without hesitation.
And SLAP!
Juliet barely caught herself from falling over.
The ringing in her left ear was so loud, she feared she’d never hear properly again.
Patricia was furious. Not because Juliet had merely insulted Aurora, but because she had made her lose face in front of Eleanor.
Her nails dug into her palm as she ordered coldly, "Go apologize to Aurora. Now."
Juliet scrambled to her feet, wobbling slightly from the pain, before quickly making her way over to Aurora.
Her voice shook. "I’m sorry."
Aurora simply stared at her without uttering a word.
Then, Patricia’s sharp voice rang out. "Crawl back and continue kneeling."
Juliet’s cheeks burned with humiliation, but she obeyed.
The old lady crossed her arms. "Juliet, never again in your life should you dare to disrespect any member of this family." Her voice was as sharp as a blade. "Is that clear?"
Juliet nodded immediately.
The old lady’s gaze then shifted toward Patricia and Eleanor.
"And the same goes for both of you," she warned. "I won’t tolerate another childish argument between you two. Let the past stay in the past. If you go against my wishes, I won’t forgive it."
Patricia and Eleanor exchanged stiff glances but said nothing.
Finally, the old lady turned to Aurora.
"From next year onward," she declared, "you will be the one in charge of organizing this family’s yearly Christmas vacation."
Aurora was momentarily speechless.
The entire room turned to look at her. But before she could respond, the old lady’s final warning echoed through the air.
"Remember," she said, her gaze sweeping over everyone, "whatever happens in this family stays in this family. I don’t want a single word of this reaching the ears of bloggers."
No one dared disobey. And with that, the meeting was over.
And Juliet, who was broken and humiliated, realized she had made a grave mistake.
She had underestimated herself, and now, she was paying the price.
Chapter 324: Gingerbread Competition
Two days after Juliet’s public humiliation, the Scott family decided to bring back the Christmas cheer with something lighthearted—a gingerbread house competition.
With all the tension still lingering from the past few days, the competition was meant to be fun—a chance for the participants to laugh, bond, and put their differences aside.
Or at least... that was the idea.
Each couple was assigned a table filled with ingredients—gingerbread panels, icing, gumdrops, candy canes, and every decoration imaginable.
The teams were:
Xander & Aurora
Old Mr. & Mrs. Scott
Richard & Patricia
Harrison & Eleanor
Owen & Juliet
The rules were simple: build the most creative, sturdy, and visually appealing gingerbread house in the allotted time.
The judges? Old Mr. and Mrs. Scott, but since they were competing, an impartial housekeeping supervisor would make the final call.
The moment the competition began, everyone got to work.
---
Xander, ever the perfectionist, instantly took charge like an architect designing a real mansion. He studied the gingerbread panels like they were blueprints, making precise measurements with his fingers before setting them in place.
Aurora, on the other hand, was tense. She wanted to win but kept making mistakes, from applying too much icing to knocking over one of the candy cane fences.
At one point, she accidentally snapped a piece of the roof and groaned.
Xander looked at the damage before shaking his head in amusement. "Sweetheart," he murmured, smoothing a hand down her back, "this isn’t a corporate takeover. Relax."
Aurora exhaled, then nodded. "I just don’t want to lose," she admitted.
"You won’t," Xander reassured her with a smirk. "We never lose. Trust me."
And true to his words, he quickly fixed the broken piece, guiding her hands as they secured the walls together.
A smile returned to Aurora’s face as she stared at their fixed project. She clapped her hands excitedly as her proud gaze fell on Xander.
If not for the fact that there were others around, she would have kissed his cheeks.
---
On the other hand, the old couple worked seamlessly together, their decades of teamwork evident in how effortlessly they built their gingerbread house.
It wasn’t flashy, but it was sturdy and perfectly decorated. Every gumdrop and frosting swirl was neatly placed.
"This isn’t our first time doing this," Old Mrs. Scott chuckled as she lined the roof with peppermint candies.
Old Mr. Scott, applying icing with precision, nodded. "We’ve been building things together for years."
They smiled at each other knowingly, a sight that left the younger couples silently envious.
Meanwhile, Richard and Patricia were at war.
"That’s too much icing, Patricia!" Richard snapped.
"And you’re taking too long to place a single candy cane!" Patricia retorted.
They bickered over every single detail, their gingerbread house looking half-finished as a result.
"You’re impossible!" Patricia huffed.
"And you’re stubborn," Richard shot back.
Harrison, who was overhearing the argument, smirked to himself.
---
Harrison and Eleanor were working together well, but there was just one problem.
They weren’t good at this.
Their house leaned dangerously to the side, and the icing looked more like it had been smeared rather than applied.
Eleanor pursed her lips. "I think we might have structural issues."
Harrison sighed. "We should’ve gone with a modern design."
Eleanor side-eyed him. "This is gingerbread, not real estate."
---
Unlike the other teams, Owen and Juliet weren’t talking.
Owen refused to build anything with her.
"Don’t touch anything," he muttered, focused on assembling the gingerbread house himself.
Juliet stood beside him, awkwardly pretending to help. She picked up a gumdrop, placed it on the table, and then picked it up again—doing absolutely nothing.
She had tried to apologize to Owen multiple times in the past two days, but he had completely ignored her.
She had made him lose favour with Xander. She had ruined his last chance to return to the family business. And added to the fact that he was now regretting why he married her,
How could he forgive her?
Even worse, since her humiliation in front of the family, Juliet now greeted Aurora with her head down, not daring to meet her gaze.
She had felt bold and entitled after marrying into the Scotts. She had disrespected Aurora.
Now? She was overpaying the price without a choice.
---
Just as the competition was about to end, an unexpected "accident" occurred.
Eleanor, adjusting her sleeve, "accidentally" knocked into Richard and Patricia’s gingerbread house.
The entire thing collapsed.
Gasps filled the room.
Eleanor covered her mouth, her eyes widening in fake shock. "Oh my! That wasn’t intentional."
All eyes turned to Patricia, who looked like she was ready to lunge.
Patricia’s fingers curled into tight fists. She didn’t believe that witch, Eleanor, for a second. She wanted to attack her straight away for ruining her hours of hard work.
"Patricia," Richard warned, grabbing her arm. "Mother is watching."
At the mention of Old Mrs. Scott, Patricia hesitated. She turned slightly—and sure enough, the old lady was watching them.
Patricia took a deep breath, forcing herself to step back.
Then, shockingly, Old Mrs. Scott spoke. She tilted her chin and looked at the supervisor.
"Disqualify those two teams," she ordered, nodding toward Richard & Patricia and Harrison & Eleanor.
A tense silence followed.
Eleanor and Patricia exchanged sharp glances before quickly looking away.
The old lady then turned to the supervisor. "Judge the remaining three gingerbread."
The supervisor nodded and made his rounds.
After a few minutes had passed, the results were announced.
"Master Xander and Madam Aurora, congratulations. You’ve won."
Aurora’s eyes widened in surprise. "We won?"
Xander smirked. "Of course we did."
Aurora turned to the gingerbread house, realizing how perfectly structured it was compared to the others. Their win was all thanks to Xander’s obsessive attention to detail.
Xander leaned down and murmured, "You were worried for nothing, sweetheart."
Aurora rolled her eyes, but a proud smile spread across her lips.
The rest of the family gave polite applause, though some clapped more enthusiastically than others.
Patricia and Eleanor? They sat in silence, clearly seething.
---
With the gingerbread competition over, the Scott family began preparing to leave the following day.
The vacation had come to an end.
Their suitcases were packed, and the private jet was prepared for departure.

*---*
Aurora read Tea Tine’s article over and over again, especially that part where Abigail and Asher’s romance was reported.
Unable to believe what she was seeing, she squinted her eyes to read the article one more time before putting her phone down.
"Abigail would really date Asher and I would find out about in the blogs?"
Aurora quickly shook her head. There must be some sort of mistake somewhere.
Refusing to believe that theory, she picked up her phone and dialled Abigail’s line and after a few rings, it connected.
The best friends exchanged heartfelt greetings. After the well wishes for the new year had passed, Aurora quickly started her interrogation regarding Tea Time’s gossip. But to her surprise, Abigail confirmed it.
"God forbid whoever is behind Tea Time’s Blog," Abigail let out an exasperated sigh. "I can’t believe they have left everyone else and decided to chase me this 2025. Now, I can understand how Olivia and Owen feel every time their name appears on that gossip blog."
Abigail was bothered about Tea Time’s accurate gossip release. The blog had spread the news abroad before she could confide in her best friend about her decision. Abigail was mad.
"I would have told you that I had decided to date Asher, but I didn’t want to ruin your family Christmas celebrations, so I decided to leave things until the festive period was over. But who knew this monitoring spirit that had been watching me since God knows when, would ruin my plans."
It was Aurora’s turn to sigh deeply. Even she felt offended by the gossip site for rubbing her off her full happiness from her best friend’s relationship decision.
Thankfully, being understanding, Aurora didn’t drag the matter. She simply cut the drama off and cut to the chase by asking for all the tea which followed up to the two dating.
Abigail said everything hit and came together at Asher’s Christmas party, and the rest was history.
Aurora refused to take the half-baked gist and immediately invited Abigail over to her house for a chat.
On the other hand, Xander had only a few words for his best friend after reading the trending news about his new romantic interest:
"It sure took you long enough."
Asher chuckled heartily. After a brief time spent in chatting, the conversation shifted to something more serious, strong and dangerous.
There was still the big mission ahead.
