Ch. 331..335: Trapped in a Secret Marriage with a Dangerous Billionaire Chapter 331-335
Chapter 331: Olivia’s Ticket to Freedom
Olivia exhaled sharply and leaned forward. "I did not push Juliet," she stated, her voice filled with frustration. "Yes, I thought about it. Yes, I was furious. But I never laid a hand on her."
Stephanie searched Olivia’s face for any sign of dishonesty, but years of dealing with her niece had made her skeptical. "Then, why would Juliet frame you?"
"Because we hate each other, Aunt Stephanie!" Olivia snapped. "She saw an opportunity and she took it! Before she fell, she was provoking me—telling me how she and Casey plotted to ruin my life and destroy my marriage with Owen."
Stephanie let out a tired sigh, rubbing her temples. "Whether you did it or not, Olivia, the Scott family won’t let this go. The baby is in critical condition, and if anything happens to that child, you will be thrown in prison for a very long time."
Olivia swallowed hard. Her throat suddenly felt dry, and her fingers curled into fists. She didn’t know the situation was this serious.
And that monster Owen would never spare even a strand of her hair.
"You should pray," Stephanie continued, her tone laced with finality. "Pray that some evidence shows up to prove your innocence, or that Juliet wakes up and changes her statement. Because if not, Olivia, you are done for. And it’s going to take months to clean up the aftermath of your mess on both our family name, and the company."
Olivia clenched her jaw, refusing to show the fear gripping her heart.
Stephanie stood, smoothing down her coat. "I’ll keep making inquiries, but I won’t waste my energy if you’re lying to me." She turned to leave but paused at the door. "Think carefully about everything that happened, Olivia. If you truly didn’t push her, then something must exist that can prove it."
The moment Stephanie left, Olivia shot up to her feet, pacing the small holding cell. Her heart was racing, her hands trembling slightly.
"Even though Owen and Juliet deserve to lose that baby, I’m not going to prison for it," she muttered under her breath.
She needed to find a way out of this mess. And soon.
But still, she couldn’t stop thinking about how she fell for Juliet’s temptation and trap. She should have known that she had everything planned out otherwise, she wouldn’t have been so confident.
Olivia took a sharp inhale of breath as she slapped her forehead. "I am a big fool for listening to that cunning white lotus bitch!"
Stopping in her steps, she seethed, "Juliet, just die while at it because if you survive this, I will personally kill you with my hands!"
---
Later that afternoon, just as Olivia had calmed herself down, a guard opened the cell door. "You have another visitor."
Olivia frowned. "Is that my Aunt again?" She couldn’t think of anyone who could come to visit her again.
Aurora would be the last person to try.
But as for her friends, they wouldn’t want to entangle themselves in this mess, so they would stay away.
"No," the officer said before stepping aside.
A slow, mocking clap filled the room as a familiar figure walked in.
Victor.
Olivia’s stomach twisted with disgust. "What the hell are you doing here?" His thought never even crossed her mind, so she was both furious and surprised at his presence.
Victor smirked, shoving his hands into the pockets of his tailored pants. "Oh, Olivia... It’s so nice to see you behind bars. I have to admit, orange would look stunning on you. But it would be perfect if you are right next to your mother."
"Get out!" Olivia snapped, crossing her arms.
But Victor didn’t move. Instead, he chuckled, leaning slightly against the metal bars. "Relax. I just came to see how you were doing. I mean, this is just too good. Olivia Swift, the mighty heiress, about to rot in a prison cell. This is poetic justice."
Olivia gritted her teeth. "You treacherous bastard!"
Victor feigned a gasp. "Is that any way to speak to someone who came bearing good news?"
She scoffed. "What good news could you possibly have for me except trying to bring you condescending self down below my feet?"
Victor grinned, reaching into his pocket and pulling out his phone. "Oh, just a little something I think you might find life-saving."
Olivia watched with narrowed eyes as he scrolled through his gallery before selecting a video.
Then, he pressed play.
The second Olivia saw the footage, her entire body went still.
The screen showed everything, from the moment Juliet blocked her path, to the way she taunted her, boasting about her and Casey’s scheme.
Then, the fall.
Juliet had been standing at the edge of the step when she miscalculated her footing, lost her balance, and tumbled down on her own.
And there was Olivia, standing frozen in shock before running after her.
Olivia’s lips parted in disbelief. ’He had it? The proof of her innocence?’
The video ended, and Victor casually slipped his phone back into his pocket.
"Looks like I’m the only person who can save you," he said smugly. "But..." He lifted his palm up and wiggled his fingers. "It comes with a price."
Olivia’s eyes darkened as she took a gamble even though she knew that he couldn’t be trusted. "What do you want?"
Victor’s smirk widened. "Simple. $500,000."
Her nostrils flared. "You’re insane."
Victor shrugged. "I call it a reasonable trade. Your freedom in exchange for what...? A little pocket change for someone like you?"
"You’re a damn thief!" Olivia spat.
"And you’re a criminal in the eyes of the law," he countered smoothly. "Unless, of course, you want to stay here and fight this case with zero evidence?"
Olivia glared at him, her fists clenching so tightly that her nails dug into her palms.
Victor’s smirk never faltered. "Take your time, Olivia. I will be waiting for your call."
Then, with a slow, arrogant turn, he walked out of the room.
As soon as he was gone, Olivia let out a scream of rage, kicking the metal bench in frustration.
Victor had her fate in his hands, so was she to bow to him?
Chapter 332: Olivia Reveals Her Secret Abortion to Owen
DAYS LATER...
The room was quiet, save for the soft clinking of a spoon against porcelain as Juliet slowly ate her porridge. Her movements were weak, her body still recovering from the surgery, but she was determined to eat for the sake of her child.
Owen sat beside her, watching her carefully, his face unreadable. The stress of the past few days was evident in the dark circles under his eyes, his usual sharp demeanour dulled by exhaustion and worry.
Just then, there was a knock on the door before it swung open. And the doctor entered, his expression grim.
Owen and Juliet immediately sensed that something was wrong.
The doctor hesitated for a second before speaking. "Mr. Owen, Mrs. Juliet..." He took a deep breath. "I’m very sorry, but despite our best efforts... your son didn’t make it."
For a moment, there was silence. A deafening, unbearable silence.
Owen’s entire body went rigid. His fingers curled into fists, his jaw clenching as he squeezed his eyes shut. He didn’t want to hear those words. He wanted to unhear them. This couldn’t be happening.
Juliet’s spoon clattered onto the tray. Her lips parted in shock, and then suddenly, she let out a bloodcurdling scream. "NO!"
She thrashed, trying to get out of the hospital bed. "I want to see my baby! I want to see my son!"
"Madam, please calm down!" A nurse rushed forward to restrain her, while another gently pressed her shoulders down.
"Let me go!" Juliet sobbed hysterically. "Where is my child?! Let me see my baby!"
"Juliet, stop," Owen’s voice was hoarse, but firm.
She turned to him, her tear-filled eyes burning with grief and rage. "Owen, you can’t let this happen! Our baby..." She grabbed his arm, her grip surprisingly strong. "You must take revenge on that woman! That murderer! Olivia killed our son!"
Her words stabbed into his soul like a dagger.
Owen didn’t hesitate. He placed his hand over hers and promised her. "I will make Olivia pay."
With that, he turned and walked out of the room, his fists trembling with pure, unfiltered rage.
---
As soon as Owen stepped into the corridor, his parents spotted him. Patricia and Richard’s nerves have been stretched thin as they have been going in and out of the hospital these past few days.
Patricia stood immediately, eyes full of worry. "Owen?"
Owen exhaled sharply, rubbing his forehead. "My son is gone."
Patricia’s entire body stiffened. She sucked in a shaky breath, squeezing her eyes shut as her hands curled into tight fists.
Richard lowered his head, grief flashing across his face.
The next second, Patricia’s eyes flew open, burning with fury. But before she could say a word, Owen was already walking away.
"Where are you going?" she demanded.
Owen didn’t stop, and he didn’t even look back. "To see that witch who killed my son."
---
The air inside the police station was heavy with tension as Owen was led to the holding room where Olivia sat, dressed in a standard detention uniform.
She sat back, arms crossed, her expression unreadable as Owen slammed the door behind him.
For a moment, he just stared at her, his eyes burning with pure hatred.
Then, through clenched teeth, he asked, "Are you happy now?"
Olivia raised a brow, feigning confusion. "Happy about what?"
Owen’s hands slammed down on the metal table between them, making Olivia flinch slightly. "You killed my son, Olivia!" His voice was filled with venom. "Are you satisfied now? Was this the revenge you wanted?"
Olivia scoffed, leaning back in her chair. "Oh, so now you’re looking for someone to blame for your misfortune?" She smirked, tilting her head. "How predictable."
Owen’s nostrils flared. "Cut the crap, Olivia! We both know how wicked your heart is. You pushed Juliet down those stairs because you couldn’t stand to see me happy! You wanted to punish me for keeping her as my mistress while we were still married, and then marrying her weeks after divorcing you!"
Olivia let out a mocking laugh—a sound that only made Owen’s blood boil more.
She met his gaze, her eyes cold. "You must be delusional if you think I care about who you marry or when you marry them. I couldn’t care less about you or that mistress of yours." She leaned forward, voice dripping with mockery. "Take your pain and your pathetic frustrations elsewhere because I’m not in the mood to entertain your nonsense."
Owen’s fingers curled into fists. His body was shaking with barely restrained fury. "I swear on my son’s grave, Olivia, I will make sure you rot in prison for this. And not just you—I will bring your entire family down with you."
At that, Olivia’s smirk vanished.
Her eyes darkened, but she remained eerily calm. "Tell me something, Owen," she said, tapping a perfectly manicured finger against the table. "Did that bitch of a wife of yours tell you that I pushed her?"
Owen’s gaze sharpened. "Watch your mouth."
Olivia smirked. "Oh, I hit a nerve?" She sat back, shrugging. "Well, let me tell you this—I shouldn’t have to explain myself to an idiot like you, but I will, just this once: I. Didn’t. Push. Juliet."
Owen shook his head, letting out a bitter chuckle. "You’re only denying it because you don’t want to go to prison. But trust me, Olivia. You’re done."
Olivia remained silent for a long moment, studying him. Then, with a slow, deliberate smirk, she uttered the words that made Owen’s world crash.
"If I really wanted to kill your child, Owen, I would’ve done it the same way I killed ours."
Owen’s breath hitched. His entire body froze.
His face paled. His heart stopped.
"What... did you just say?" he whispered, his voice shaking.
Olivia’s smirk widened. "Oh? You never figured it out?" She tilted her head. "I caused my own miscarriage. I took abortion pills every single day and then conveniently let you take the blame for it. And you? You were stupid enough to fall for it when you pushed me at the club—for this same Juliet."
Owen staggered back, his hands gripping the edge of the table as his vision blurred.
The truth was like a dagger straight to his chest. He had spent so long blaming himself silently.
So long believing he was the reason their child died. And now... this?
"You..." He swallowed, his voice weak. "You killed your own child?"
Olivia didn’t hesitate. "When a woman gets pregnant by a bastard, she has to remove it to stop the child from inheriting the stupidity."
Owen’s eyes flashed with pure rage. He felt like strangling her.
"You... are a monster." His voice was deadly low. "God will punish you."
Olivia smirked. "Oh? So it’s God who will punish me now? Not you?"
Owen clenched his jaw, shaking with fury while Olivia laughed hysterically.
But the moment Owen stormed out, her laughter disappeared. Her heart raced and her smirk faded.
She knew Owen meant every word. And if she didn’t find a way out of this mess soon, she really would rot in jail, especially given the fact that she wasn’t ready to pay that thief, Victor half a million dollars.

TEA TIME GOSSIP BLOG – BREAKING NEWS!
OLIVIA SWIFT TO STAND TRIAL? OWEN SCOTT WON’T LET HER OFF!
Happy New Month, darlings! We hope you all have been having a fabulous start to the year, but unfortunately, some people are not. While some are busy making resolutions, others are making enemies—or in Olivia Swift’s case, making their way to court.
Let’s get into the latest scandal shaking Wing City!
Just when we thought the drama was cooling off, Juliet Scott (née Williams) has finally regained consciousness after that shocking fall down the stairs at the luxury spa. But here’s the twist—she woke up to devastating news.
Our sources inside the hospital confirm that Juliet and Owen Scott lost their unborn child this morning. After fighting for survival, the baby—who was less than two months away from entering the world—tragically didn’t make it.
But that’s not all. It looks like this tragedy has ignited a firestorm. Owen Scott, known for his short temper and ability to hold grudges, isn’t letting this go. He is officially taking Olivia Swift to court for pushing his wife down a flight of stairs out of jealousy, causing the death of his child.
YES, YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT!
Owen Scott is pressing charges against his ex-wife, and if found guilty, Olivia could be looking at serious jail time!
This brings us to the golden question:
Will the Swift family intervene?
After all, Olivia has been their problem child for years, and let’s be honest, she doesn’t exactly have a clean record.
Will Stephanie Coker, the ever-poised and calculating chairwoman of Vintage Cellar, step in to save her niece? Or will she let Olivia face the music alone?
Oh, and let’s not forget—this all happened just WEEKS after Olivia returned to Vintage Cellar! Talk about an unfortunate way to start the year!
We’re keeping our ears to the ground for more updates, but in the meantime, tell us:
What do YOU think? Is Olivia innocent or guilty? Drop your thoughts below!

WHAT DO YOU THINK? WILL OLIVIA ESCAPE THIS MESS? LET US KNOW BELOW!

Twelve hours later, Stephanie paid Olivia a visit.
Stephanie took the seat across from Olivia, folding her hands on the table. The silence between them stretched for a few moments before she spoke.
"Owen has already filed a case against you," Stephanie announced, her tone calm but firm. "He’s determined to see you behind bars."
Olivia scoffed, leaning back. "Let him do his worst." But despite her indifferent tone, Stephanie’s sharp eyes caught the way her fingers twitched slightly against her lap. A nervous tick. A sign that Olivia wasn’t as unbothered as she pretended to be.
Stephanie tilted her head slightly, observing her niece carefully. "Have you thought of a way to save yourself?"
Olivia remained silent, her jaw clenching.
Stephanie exhaled, leaning forward. "You’re trapped, Olivia. But I’m willing to help you—"
Olivia’s brows furrowed in suspicion. "At what cost?"
Stephanie smiled, slow and knowing. "Sell me half of your shares in Vintage Cellar, and in return, I will ensure you get out of this mess unscathed."
The silence that followed was deafening. Olivia let out a dry, bitter chuckle before leaning in, her dark eyes locking onto her aunt’s.
"Aunt, you must be delusional if you think I would sell even a fraction of my shares to you," Olivia spat, her voice dripping with venom.
Stephanie didn’t flinch. If anything, she looked amused.
Olivia continued, her voice cold. "I’d rather hand over all my shares to Aurora than let you have them."
Stephanie merely smiled, as if she had anticipated her refusal. Then, with a small shrug, she rose gracefully to her feet.
"Okay," she said simply.
Olivia sneered as she watched Stephanie turn toward the exit, her heels clicking against the tile floor.
As the door shut behind Stephanie, Olivia let out a shaky breath. That woman was a vulture.
And worse, Olivia knew that with the way things were going, Stephanie wasn’t entirely wrong.
She needed to find a way out of this.
---
The Next Morning...
Lying on the stiff cot inside her holding cell, Olivia stared blankly at the ceiling, deep in thought.
’There has to be another way.’
She had been racking her brain all night, thinking of a way to escape the fate Owen had set for her. Stephanie’s proposal was out of the question, but it had planted a dangerous seed in her mind.
Then—it hit her.
A slow smirk curled on Olivia’s lips as the perfect idea finally surfaced, though it was her last option.
Aurora.
Aurora was her last card. If there was one person who might help her—even if reluctantly—it was Aurora.
Olivia sat up immediately, her mind racing. She had to act fast.
Quickly, she grabbed a pen and a piece of paper, her fingers moving swiftly as she scribbled down her thoughts. Her words were calculated, her tone just right.
When she finished, she folded the letter neatly and waved over a nearby police officer.
"Please, I need you to deliver this," she instructed, her voice carrying an urgency that made the officer pause.
"To whom?"
"My stepsister," Olivia replied, her tone serious. "Aurora Swift."
Chapter 334: Aurora Strikes A Deal with Victor
The next day...
The morning was like any other at Vintage Cellar, the faint hum of activity filling the corridors as employees moved about their duties. Aurora Swift sat in her office, reviewing some documents when a soft knock came at the door.
"Come in," she said without looking up.
Her assistant, Linda, stepped inside, carrying a sealed envelope. "Ma’am, a letter came for you. It’s from Director Olivia."
Aurora’s brows furrowed in mild surprise. Olivia? What could she possibly want from her?
Aurora took the envelope, nodding in dismissal. As Linda exited the office, she turned the letter over in her hands, debating whether to open it.
With a deep breath, she broke the seal and unfolded the crisp paper inside.
Her eyes scanned the words carefully.
"Aunt Stephanie visited me in custody. She offered to help me get out, but only if I agreed to sell half of my shares in Vintage Cellar to her...
Aurora’s grip on the paper tightened. Their aunt was trying to take advantage of Olivia’s predicament?
Her gaze flickered back to the letter.
...Victor, that insufferable playboy, has evidence that proves I didn’t push Juliet. But he’s demanding $500,000 for it. I can’t afford that. Aurora, I need your help. Put our past behind you. I will repay you as soon as I get the money."
Aurora set the letter down, exhaling deeply.
’So Olivia was telling the truth?’ Aurora thought to herself as she leaned back in her chair, staring at the ceiling, her thoughts tangled.
Aurora also realized three things after reading that letter: First, Olivia didn’t push Juliet. Two, Victor had the proof all along. Three, Stephanie was trying to secure more power.
Aurora pressed her fingers against her temples.
She didn’t trust Olivia, but if the evidence proved her innocence, was it right to ignore her plea?
Seconds turned into minutes, and finally, Aurora picked up her phone and dialled Nene’s number.
The call connected almost instantly.
"Ma’am?" Nene’s voice came through.
"Nene, tell Liam to schedule a meeting for me with Victor. This afternoon."
"Victor? The womanizer?" Nene’s voice carried a hint of distaste.
"Yes," Aurora confirmed, her voice firm.
A pause. Then, "Understood, Ma’am."
Aurora ended the call and sighed.
---
At noon, Liam drove Aurora to a private restaurant near Vintage Cellar for her meeting with Victor.
Nene sat beside Aurora in the backseat, her worry evident.
"Ma’am, you really shouldn’t have come in person. You could have sent me instead," she said, frowning.
Aurora placed a gentle hand on her baby bump, smiling softly. "It’s fine, Nene. I want to handle this myself."
Nene pursed her lips but didn’t argue further.
By the time they arrived, Victor was already seated in the private room. The moment Aurora walked in, he stood up immediately, smoothing down his suit jacket.
Liam pulled out a chair for Aurora. She sat gracefully before he and Nene went to stand behind her, their presence a silent warning to Victor.
"Mrs. Scott," Victor greeted with a smirk as he took his seat.
Aurora didn’t waste time. "I will get straight to the point."
Victor arched a brow, intrigued.
"I hear you have evidence proving Olivia’s innocence. And you’re demanding half a million dollars for it."
Victor chuckled, resting his chin on his knuckles. "Did Olivia come crying to you about it?"
Aurora didn’t answer. She merely watched him with an unreadable expression.
Victor’s smirk faltered. Clearing his throat, he leaned back, seeing that he had crossed the line. "Yes, I have the evidence. And yes, my price is $500,000."
Aurora extended her hand slightly. "I would like to see the video."
Victor hesitated. Then, with a sigh, he reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out his phone. He unlocked it, scrolled through his gallery, and played the video.
Just as he was about to hand it to Aurora, Liam intercepted him, taking the phone instead and passing it to Aurora.
Aurora’s sharp eyes watched the footage carefully.
She saw the moment of confrontation between Olivia and Juliet. She saw how Juliet had intentionally provoked Olivia.
And most importantly, she saw the exact moment Juliet missed a step and fell on her own.
Aurora handed the phone back to Liam, who in turn passed it to Victor.
Victor visibly relaxed, as if he had been worried she might confiscate his phone.
Aurora spoke, her tone cool. "I will offer you a cheque for that video."
As if on cue, Nene retrieved a fresh cheque from Aurora’s bag and handed it to Liam. Liam placed it in front of Victor.
Victor picked it up, glancing at the amount.
His brows furrowed. "$125,000?" He lifted his gaze, disbelief flashing in his eyes.
Aurora remained unfazed. "That’s my offer."
Victor set the cheque down, shaking his head. "Not enough."
Aurora’s lips curled into a cold smirk.
"You seem to have forgotten something, Victor."
His body stiffened.
"You tried to take advantage of me at Olivia’s engagement party," Aurora reminded him, her voice dangerously calm.
Victor’s throat went dry.
He remembered. And he remembered how Xander had almost broken him apart because of it.
Aurora continued, her gaze piercing. "I haven’t forgotten that. So, consider this a generous payment for your efforts to secure this evidence."
Victor shifted in his seat. He was uncomfortable. And he had every right to be.
Aurora’s voice remained icy. "Take it, and send the video to me."
Victor sighed heavily. He was displeased about the deal, but the fear of Xander after Aurora’s subtle threat was the beginning of wisdom.
Victor picked up the cheque, stared at it for a moment, then finally pocketed it. Reaching for his phone, he tapped a few buttons and sent the file.
A few seconds later, Liam’s phone vibrated.
Victor leaned back in his chair, rubbing his temples. "You win, Mrs. Scott."
Aurora stood up. "Thank you for your seamless cooperation"
Then, without another glance, she walked out of the room.
---
Outside the restaurant, the winter air was crisp, carrying a faint chill that made Aurora instinctively pull her coat tighter around her.
Liam opened the car door for her while Nene climbed in on the other side. As Aurora settled into her seat, she turned to Liam and gave him a firm instruction.
"Pass the evidence to the police immediately. Olivia needs to be proven innocent as soon as possible. And prepare the bill of the same amount I spent on Victor today."
Liam nodded. "Understood, Ma’am."
Nene, who had been silent for a while, hesitated before asking, "Ma’am, why did you also tell Liam to prepare a bill for Olivia?"
"Because, that’s how much Olivia owes me," Aurora said cooly.
Nene nodded. She was expecting her to request for $500,000 from Olivia, but it seems she had a different idea.
Liam started the car and drove them back toward Vintage Cellar.
Aurora’s mind wandered back to Stephanie’s attempt to manipulate the situation.
So, Aunt Stephanie wanted Olivia’s shares?
She had overlooked many of her aunt’s little moves before, but not this time.
Her aunt needed to be confronted.
Chapter 335: Juliet’s Lies Are Exposed
TWENTY-FOUR HOURS LATER...
The dull sound of footsteps echoed through the cold, sterile halls of the police station as an officer made his way toward the holding cells.
Inside one of them, Olivia Swift sat on the edge of the bench, arms folded tightly across her chest. She had barely slept properly in days, her nerves worn thin by the weight of uncertainty. The air smelled of disinfectant and iron bars—reminders of how low she had fallen.
She glanced up at the sound of the approaching officer, her brows furrowing in confusion when he stopped directly in front of her cell.
The officer pulled out a key and inserted it into the lock with a soft click. The heavy metal door creaked open.
"You’re free to go, Miss Swift," the officer said, his voice neutral.
Olivia blinked. A second passed. Then another.
"What?" she asked, her tone laced with disbelief. ’So soon?’
The officer barely spared her a glance as he stepped aside. "You’re being released. You’re free."
A sharp intake of breath left Olivia’s lips. Free?
Her fingers curled into fists as she stood up. She stared at the officer, trying to read his expression.
"Why?" she demanded, trying to confirm her guesses.
The officer sighed, as if he had explained this more times than he cared for. "A video surfaced proving that you didn’t push Juliet Scott down the stairs. It shows the entire incident from a clear angle—Juliet fell on her own."
A smirk appeared at the corner of her lips as she immediately connected the dots and confirmed her doubts.
There was no one else who could have acted this fast except—Aurora.
Her fingers clenched tightly at her sides. So, she really did help me.
A strange mix of emotions swirled within her—relief, gratitude, and surprise. She had predicted a 50-50 chance of Aurora helping her. And even though she was surprised she helped, she couldn’t help the shock by how fast she did it.
They were supposed to be enemies. Aurora was supposed to ignore her and use this opportunity to take her revenge, but she didn’t
What kind of person are you, Aurora? Are you planning something else?
It was completely normal for Olivia to be doubtful and though she didn’t like the idea of owing anyone, especially Aurora, she had no choice.
The officer gave Olivia an expectant look. "Are you leaving or not?"
Snapping out of her thoughts, Olivia straightened, lifted her chin, and strutted forward with as much dignity as she could muster.
But just before stepping out of the cell, she paused.
With a slight smirk, she turned to the officer. "See? I told you from the start—I never pushed that woman."
The officer merely shrugged, clearly indifferent to her declaration. "You can collect your belongings at the front desk."
Olivia scoffed lightly before walking out.
Olivia got to change back into her own clothes. She felt disgusted with herself as she hasn’t showered in a week. But as she took the rest of her stuff from the first desk, she got the bill from Aurora.
’Huh? She got this video from Victor for $125,000? How come?’
As Olivia stepped into the bright daylight, a cool breeze swept past her, filling her lungs with fresh air.
She was free. And she needed to talk to Aurora.

Owen sat in the dimly lit hospital room, his fingers clenched around his phone as he replayed the damning video evidence the police had sent him. Each second that passed tightened the grip of betrayal around his chest, making it harder to breathe.
The truth was now undeniable—Juliet had lied. She had deliberately framed Olivia. And worse, she and Casey had conspired to worm their way into his life, all to take revenge on Olivia.
His jaw ticked as he exhaled sharply, his hands trembling with fury. He turned to the hospital bed where Juliet sat propped up, still weak from her C-section. She glanced up at him with tired eyes, completely unaware that her carefully woven deception was about to unravel.
Owen didn’t wait. He threw his phone onto her lap. "Watch it." His voice was cold. Unforgiving.
Juliet hesitated. "Owen, what’s—"
"Watch the damn video, Juliet!"
The way he said her name—void of warmth—sent a chill down her spine. With shaky fingers, she picked up the phone and pressed play.
The moment the truth played before her eyes, her entire body went rigid.
The video clearly showed her standing at the top of the stairs, smirking, taunting Olivia. And then—she slipped. Not a single hand had touched her.
And yet, she had blamed Olivia. Lied to Owen. Played the victim.
The phone slipped from her fingers, landing on the hospital sheets.
"Owen... I..." Her lips quivered. Fear danced in her eyes.
But Owen wasn’t interested in excuses.
