Ch. 136..140: Breed Me, Daddy Alpha chapter 136-140
Favorite Sin 136
Who Did It!?”
~Lyra~
“Tasha, tell me what happened,” I said, and my voice was already shaking even though I was trying so hard to sound steady.
I could feel my own pulse in my throat, loud and choking, because she just stood there, swaying slightly, like she wasn’t sure if her legs were going to keep holding her up.
Her eyes kept darting past me, like maybe she thought someone had followed her here, like maybe whoever hurt her was about to come up the stairs any second.
Her lips parted, but no words came out, and I could see her chest rising and falling so fast that I honestly thought she might pass out right there on the doorstep.
“Tasha, please,” I said again, louder this time, because my brain was starting to race in a hundred directions at once. Was she hurt worse than I could see? Was she bleeding somewhere else? Was someone chasing her? Was this about the fire? Was she even supposed to be here?
“I’m begging you, just tell me what happened so I can understand, so we can help you, so I’m not standing here feeling like my entire stomach is going to turn inside out because I don’t know what’s going on.”
“You’re scaring me right now and I don’t even know if I should be scared or if I’m overreacting or if this is just me being dramatic, but you’re standing here looking like you’ve been through hell and you’re not saying a word, and it’s making me feel like my skin is too tight.
“Please just talk to me. I don’t care if it’s one sentence or ten or if it comes out in some kind of broken mess! have to piece together. Just give me something. Give me anything.”
Her lips trembled, and I could see the way her throat bobbed when she swallowed, but still nothing came out.
My heartbeat was so loud in my ears that I felt like I could barely hear my own voice, and yet I couldn’t stop myself from filling the silence because if I didn’t, it felt like the weight of whatever she wasn’t saying was going to crush me.
“I mean, look at you, Tasha,” I kept going, my hands fluttering helplessly in the air because I didn’t know if I should reach for her or if she’d pull away.
“Your hair’s a mess, your face is wet, and there’s blood–actual blood–on your head and your shirt, and your hands are shaking like you’ve been out in a blizzard for hours.
“Were you in an accident? Did someone hit you? Did someone follow you here? Because if they did, I swear I will scream this house down until Damon makes them regret even breathing in your direction.
“Did you run here? Did you even stop to breathe before knocking on the door? You’re pale, you look like you could collapse, and I can’t tell if you’re hurt badly or if you’re just… I don’t even know, Tasha. I don’t know, and it’s making me crazy.”
Still nothing. She just stared at me, her eyes glassy and wide, and that silence felt so heavy I wanted to shake her until the words fell out.
My chest was so tight it felt like I was breathing through a straw, and I hated it, hated not knowing, hated that she wouldn’t just tell me what happened so I could at least start figuring out what to do next.
Who Did Tur
“Damon!” I finally shouted, snapping my head toward him because I couldn’t keep it in anymore. My voice came
out sharper than I intended, fueled by panic that I didn’t know how to hold back.
“Damon! It’s tasha!! She is bleeding to death here! She’s not answering me, she’s just standing here, and
don’t know what’s wrong, and I don’t know what to do..”
He was already moving before I even finished.
Damon moved so fast it actually startled me. One second he was behind me, and the next he was right there
at the doorway, towering over both of us, his eyes going wide in a way I didn’t see often.
“Jesus Christ!” he barked, his voice sharp and furious, and the sheer volume of it made my heart slam
against my ribs.
“What the hell happened to you?” His gaze raked over Tasha from head to toe like he was memorizing every single injury, every smudge of dirt, every tremor in her body. He looked like a man who had just been told the enemy had breached his walls, and in a way, maybe that was exactly what this was.
Before I could even process it, his hand was on Tasha’s shoulder, guiding..no, pulling..her into the house with an urgency that made my pulse skip. He kicked the door shut with the back of his boot so hard it echoed
through the hallway.
“Who did this to you?” he demanded. “Speak! Speak up now!” He was so close to her that I could feel the tension radiating off him like heat. “I swear to God, I will kill someone!”
“Tell me who touched you, who laid a single hand on you, and I will rip their throat out with my teeth. I will burn their house to the ground while they are still inside it.
“I will make them beg for mercy they will never get. I don’t care if it takes me a day or a year, I will find them, and when I do, there will be nothing left for anyone to bury.”
His hands curled into fists at his sides like the words weren’t enough, like he needed something to break, to
crush, to destroy right now.
“Damon, calm down!” I burst out, grabbing his arm before he could take another step toward her. I could feel the muscle in his forearm flex like a coiled spring under my palm.
“You’re scaring her!” My voice was higher than usual because I was trying to compete with the sheer force of
his tone.
“You’re talking about burning houses and ripping throats, and she looks like she’s about to collapse: I get it, I do, I’m just as freaked out as you are, but this isn’t helping!”
“She’s bleeding, Lyra!” he shot back, his voice still sharp but slightly less explosive. “She’s is here with blood on her face and fear in her eyes, and you want me to pretend like this is not urgent? No. Someone put their hands on her. Someone hurt her. And whoever they are, they just signed their death warrant.”
I shook my head quickly, my grip still tight on his arm. “I’m not saying it’s not urgent. I’m saying screaming at her like she’s the suspect isn’t going to make her suddenly feel safe enough to tell us everything.
“Look at her..her hands are shaking so hard she can’t even keep them at her sides, her chest is heaving like she just ran a marathon, and she’s not even looking at us right now.”
“She’s somewhere else in her head. She probably still feels like she’s in danger. You coming at her like a one–man firing squad is just going to make her shut down more.”
Who Did 1027
Damon’s eyes stayed on Tasha, still burning, but he exhaled once..short, sharp
, like it took effort to pull bed even slightly.
“Fine,” he said, his voice low but still carrying that lethal edge. “But she is going to tell me what happened And when she does, I will make sure they never touch anyone again.”
“Good,” I said quickly, even though my heart was still hammering. “Just… let’s get her inside first before you start making detailed murder plans in the middle of the hallway.”
Her lips trembled so badly it was like even her mouth wanted to run away from whatever she was about to say, and her fingers kept knotting themselves together in her lap like she was trying to braid her own skin. “… I can’t… oh my God, I can’t even say it, Lyra,” she stammered, her voice shaking so much it made my stomach twist because I already knew whatever was coming was going to be bad.
“Just spit it out already before I lose my mind,” I snapped, and she flinched. Her throat bobbed, her breathing got all uneven, and then she blurted it out in one breath, “It was Marcus,”
I froze. Damon froze. We both turned to her like synchronized robots, and I swear the air in the room shifted. “What?!” we said at the same time, mine coming out as a high–pitched screech, his deep and sharp enough to cut glass. My brain just stopped working for a full two seconds. No way. There was no way I had heard her
correctly.
Damon’s face hardened instantly, like the name alone was a trigger that ripped him out of the present and shoved him straight into kill mode.
“Hold up,” he said slowly, with each word dripping in disbelief and fury. “Marcus. As in Marcus, the pathetic waste of oxygen you used to date? Lyra’s ex–boyfriend Marcus?” His eyes cut to me, sharp and searching, like he was confirming that this wasn’t some sick joke.
back?”
I threw my hands up so fast my shoulders twinged. “Wait..what?! You’re telling me Marcus, as in my ex–boyfriend, is the reason you’re standing here bleeding? Marcus, the guy who cheated on me, lied to my face, tried to spread rumors about me after I dumped him, and owes me two hoodies he never gave
“Marcus is the one who did this to you? What the hell were you even doing anywhere near him?
Damon’s jaw tightened until I could see the muscles flexing like he was trying not to break his teeth. His voice dropped into that lethal, dangerous register that made my skin prickle.
“Don’t you tell me you were f*****g him, Tasha.”
And then she looked right at him, pale and shaky, but with enough guilt in her eyes to answer before her lips
even moved. “I was, Dad.”
“You f****d up, b***h! You freaking w***e!!! Cant you let your p***y f*****g rest! You f****d him again!” I shouted so loud my own voice startled me, but I didn’t care because the second she admitted it, all the blood in my body had boiled straight to the surface.
“Now he beat you the hell up, and you want us to do what exactly? You want us to just drop everything and come charging to your rescue like we are super Mario or what!”
My hands were flying everywhere because my body couldn’t hold the fury still. “Tasha, I cannot b actually cannot believe you.”
e you. I
“Please, Dad! Please, Lyra, listen to me!” she begged, her voice breaking and her eyes darting between us like
Who Did It?
she was drowning and trying to reach both of us at once. “It’s not what you think…..
“Go on,” Damon cut in, his voice so deep and sharp it actually made me shiver even though it wasn’t aimed at
me.
His stance was rigid, his jaw locked, and his eyes locked on her like a wolf zeroing in on prey. “Go on and f*****g explain before I lose my temper completely. And trust me, Tasha, if I lose it, you are not going to like what comes next. So speak. Now!”

Hey dear readers. I am really sorry for the late update. I had writers block for this particular book O

Favorite Sin 137
~Lyra
Can you believe this b***h, y’all? I mean seriously, can you even wrap your head around this?.
“Lyra, calm down. Just calm down. I can hear your thoughts” Damon said from behind me, his voice firm and deep, his hand brushing my shoulder like he was trying to ground me..
Tasha shifted in her seat, her shoulders curling inward like she wanted to sink into the couch and disappear
I turned back to her fully, still speaking half to her and half to you because if I did not get this off my chest, I
was going to explode.
“Go on, Tasha, speak. You walked in here looking like you just got dragged through a war zone, you dropped the Marcus bomb like it was just some casual detail, and now you are sitting here mute.
“This is not a courtroom. You do not need permission to talk. You are going to tell us what happened, and
you are going to tell us now.
“And do not you dare skip a single detail, because I will know if you are lying, and if I know, I will make you start over from the very beginning until I get the whole story exactly as it happened.”
Tasha’s eyes flickered between us, her fingers twisting together in her lap so tightly I thought she might cut off her own circulation. Her throat worked hard as she swallowed, and I could see her struggling to get the
words out.
I leaned in, still looking straight at you as if we were in this together. “Well? We are waiting. And trust me, I
am not letting her out of this room until I know everything.”
She took one trembling breath and finally began to speak.
“We were at his apartment,” she began, her eyes flicking between me and Damon as if she was bracing
herself for every reaction.
“I went there because he called me and said he wanted to talk. He said that he had been thinking about me
and we should f**k and I was f*****g horny so I went there. We sat in his living room for a while, he poured
drinks, and at first, it was fine. We talked. We laughed a little. Then one thing led to another, and..”
I held up my hand so sharply she actually stopped mid–sentence. “The f**k is wrong with you, Tasha? Did he hit your head hard or what?
“We do not want the play–by–play of how you two got naked. This is not a porno recap. We want to know why he hit you. Skip to the part that matters before I lose my temper completely.”
“I don’t know, Lyra! I don’t know!” she shouted back suddenly, her voice cracking from the strain. “I f*****g
don’t know! After s*x, he just… he just went violent. He got up, he started pacing, and then he began knocking
things over like he was looking for something to destroy.
“It was like he flipped a switch. I think he’s a sociopath or something because the way he looked at me..” She
stopped for a moment, pressing her hands to her face like she was trying to block out the memory.
“It was like I was a stranger, like I was the enemy, and I didn’t even know what I’d done to set him
I folded my arms, my jaw tight, because part of me wanted to scream and part of me wanted to shake her

until her teeth rattled, “So what did you do?”
“I tried to
calm him down!” she yelled, and I could see the desperation in her eyes now. “I told him to stop, told him to just talk to me, but he wouldn’t listen. And then..”
She reached up and touched the side of her head where the dried blood still clung to her hairline.
“He hit my face with a lamp. Over and over again. The glass shattered the first time, and then he just kept swinging the base at me.
“I fell off the couch, and I think I blacked out for a few seconds because when I opened my eyes, he was still yelling, but his words didn’t make sense. I crawled toward the door, and he threw the lamp down at the wall so hard it broke into pieces. I just… I ran. I didn’t stop running until I got here.”
Damon’s jaw was clenched so hard I could see the veins standing out along his neck, and his hands were flexing like he was seconds away from breaking something or someone in half.
“I f*****g loved him,” she choked out, her voice muffled by the way her hands were covering her face. “I loved him so much. I loved his f*****g d**k. God, I loved the way he touched me.
“I loved the way he could make me feel like I was on fire without even trying. I know it sounds stupid, I know it sounds pathetic, but I couldn’t stop going back. Every time I swore it was the last, I would remember how good it felt, how good he was in bed, and I just… I gave in.”
I blinked at her, my jaw hanging open, because I could not believe she was going there right now.
“You are seriously sitting here telling us about his d**k like that’s the part we’re supposed to care about? After he smashed your face with a lamp? After you came in here looking like you crawled out of a horror
movie?”
I could feel my hands balling into fists because I was half tempted to shake her and half tempted to just scream into a pillow. “Tasha, I don’t care if he could make you see God with his tongue. That is not an excuse for walking straight back into hell.”
Damon’s voice came low, but it vibrated through, the air like a warning growl.
“Do you even hear yourself right now? You’re talking about how much you liked f*****g him while I am standing here planning how I’m going to kill him. You loved his d**k? Good. Then why don’t you go back to him! This time around he would shove a knife in your p***y”
Tasha let out another sob, clutching her knees like she was trying to hold herself together.
“I know it’s wrong! I know I sound insane! But you don’t understand, it wasn’t just s*x
. It was like… it was like
he had a hold over me.
“Like he knew exactly what to say and exactly how to touch me to make me forget everything else. And then after… after he’d make me feel like nothing. Like I was nothing.”
Her voice cracked, and she blinked rapidly, like she was struggling to keep her focus.
“I hate him for what he did, but part of me hates myself more because I still remember how good it felt before it got bad. I don’t even know if that makes me broken or just stupid, but I can’t stop thinking about it. I can’t stop thinking about him.”
I stared at her, my hands curling into fists at my sides because hearing her romanticize the same man why had just bashed her in the head made my skin crawl.
< What Would Happen Next?
“Tasha, are you even listening to yourself? He hit you. He could have killed you. And you’re still sitting here talking about how good the s*x was like that cancels out the fact that he tried to break your skull open.”
But she barely seemed to hear me. Her gaze slid to Damon, and her voice dropped into something softer, almost like she was talking in her sleep.
“And, Dad… you were right about Mum.” Her lashes lowered, and her words slowed even more. “She left again.
Well technically Damon killed Camilla but Tasha didn’t know this yet. Before I could even react to that, her head tilted to the side against the back of the couch.
Her eyes rolled shut, her lips parted, and her body went limp as if every ounce of energy had left her. She was not just closing her eyes. She was passing out right in front of us.
“Damon!” I shouted, lunging forward and grabbing her shoulders. “She’s out! She’s actually out! Tasha, come on, wake up, open your eyes, don’t do this to me right now!” My voice shook as I tried to keep the panic from swallowing me whole.
Damon was already moving, crouching down on the other side of her, his face set in a grim, tight line. “She’s breathing,” he said, his voice low but firm, his hands already moving to lift her. “Should we take her with us”
I blinked at him, sure I had heard him wrong. “What?” I blurted out, my voice shooting up like I’d just been slapped with the dumbest question in the world. “Take her with us? As in… on the plane? To the pack house?
To another country?
“No, Damon. No,” I said firmly, stepping right into his path before he could head toward the stairs. “We can just leave her here and call a doctor. I don’t have a good feeling about this, please.
He shifted Tasha’s weight in his arms, his eyes still locked on mine with that unblinking.
“Come on, kitten. I know you hate her, but look at her,” he said, his voice softening just enough to make me
falter.
“She’s barely holding on. She’s not safe here. Marcus knows where she lives. He knows how to find her. And if he’s already willing to smash a lamp over her head, what do you think he’s going to do if she’s alone?”
I shook my head quickly, clinging to the tiny bit of logic I had left. “That doesn’t mean we take her.” “Kitten,” he said again, this time quieter, almost coaxing. “Don’t worry. She won’t stay with us. There will be another house where she will stay. Somewhere away from the main pack, somewhere guarded and secure. “She won’t be in your space, she won’t be breathing down your neck, but she will be alive. And right now, that’s what matters.”
“Damon, I honestly don’t like this,” I said, my voice low but steady, even though my heart was pounding.
“I don’t think Tasha has changed. You know how she is. She might harm the baby. You can tell me all day that she’ll be in another house, but I still don’t trust her, and I do not want her anywhere near me or our child.” My arms folded across my chest without me even realizing it.
He looked at me for a long moment, his eyes locked on mine with that deep, commanding gaze that made it hard to breathe.
“Kitten, listen to Daddy,” he said slowly, his voice dipping into that low husky voice.
What Would Happen Next?
“Don’t be naughty, okay? Everything will be fine. I told you, she won’t be in your space, and she won’t be near the baby. I will make sure of it. All you have to do is trust me.”
I forced a smile, tilting my head just enough to make it look like I was reassured, but deep down my heart wasn’t settled, and I could not shake the image of her in the same country as us, even if she was in another
house.
Who knows what would happen next.

Lyra
I swear I have never hated the sound of a private jet more in my life. Normally, it’s all sleek and luxury and of my God, look at me, I’m in the clouds like some spoiled princess, but right now every low hum of the engine feels like a countdown to disaster.
And there’s Damon, sitting across from me like he didn’t just upend my entire sense of safety by bringing her on board. Tasha.
She’s curled up two rows back, wrapped in a blanket, looking all small and pitiful with that tiny scrape of dried blood still along her hairline.
And yeah, I know, the “morally correct” thing to do is feel bad for her right now, but you cannot just what tasha had done to me. You can’t wipe away the fact that she said things about me to my face just to see if I’d break.
And Damon – oh, Damon – has the audacity to sit here sipping his drink like some mafia wolf king.
His stupid perfect jawline is tight, his eyes locked on the laptop he hasn’t even touched in ten minutes, probably just pretending to work so he doesn’t have to deal with the fact that I am this close to ripping the safety card from the seat pocket and using it as a visual aid for why this is a bad idea.
“You’re glaring,” he says without even looking up, his voice low and smooth like he’s more amused than annoyed.
“No, I’m thinking,” I shoot back, crossing my arms so hard it feels like my ribs might snap. “Thinking about how you’ve basically brought a stray cat onto this plane. Except the cat is you daughter with a mouth she can’t control, and a history of trying to scratch me for sport.”
His eyes finally lift to mine, slow and steady, like he’s peeling back every layer of my annoyance to find the part where I’ll eventually give in.
“Kitten.” Just that one word, dipped in warning and affection all at once, like he knows exactly how to make my pulse betray me.
“Don’t kitten me right now,” I say, leaning forward because whispering doesn’t work with me when I’m spiraling.
“Do you know what this is like? It’s like… it’s like you’ve put a ticking time bomb in the overhead compartment and you’re just sitting there saying ‘relax, it’s fine, the bomb won’t go off. I don’t care if you promise me she’s staying in another house. Another country would feel better.”
Behind us, I hear her shift in her seat and let out this little groan, like she’s waking up or dreaming or both, and I have to fight the urge to whip my head around because I know if we make eye contact I’m going to say something I can’t take back. I’m not even sure if I’m more scared of her trying to play nice or of her suddenly remembering she hates me.
Damon sets his drink down and leans back, his hand rubbing his jaw the way he does when he’s deciding how much of the truth to give me.
“She’s here because I need her close enough to keep an eye on her and far enough that she won’t touch you
Flight Of Deare
or the baby. That’s it. I am not doing this for her. I’m doing it because if Marcus comes looking for her again. want him to have to come through me first.”
And damn it, there’s a part of me that melts a little because of course he would frame it like that, all protective and possessive, making it sound less like he’s defending her and more like he’s declaring war.
But then I remember it’s Tasha, and that protective instinct could flip on me in a second if she tries something and I’m not ready.
“Damon, I am telling you, something is not right. I can feel it in my bones, in my gut, in the way my skin feels too tight right now. Why aren’t you listening to me? You always listen to me.
“Why does it suddenly feel like you care more about keeping her safe than keeping me safe? She’s the one you’re bending over backwards for right now, not me, and I’m the one carrying your babies!”
I can hear myself getting more emotional, but I can’t stop. It’s like my mouth is plugged into my heart and everything is spilling out without a filter.
“I’m the one sitting here pregnant, hormonal, scared out of my mind about what happens next, and instead of reassuring me, you’re making decisions that make me feel like I’m second place to her,”
My voice cracks on the last word and that’s it, the tears spill over before I can blink them back. My hands fly up to my face, partly because I don’t want him to see me like this and partly because if I don’t cover my
mouth, I might say something even uglier.
He leans forward slowly, his voice dropping to that soft, deep tone that always feels like it’s wrapping around
my ribs and holding me still. “Kitten,” he says, and the sound of it is enough to make my throat tighten even
more. “Listen to Daddy. Please… stop crying.”
“Kitten, look at me,” he says, his voice quiet but heavy enough to pin me in place. My eyes flick up because no
matter how stubborn I try to be, I always look when he says that.
“I love you. I love you more than my own breath. I love you more than anything I have ever touched, owned, or
killed for. You are not second to anyone, not now, not ever. You are mine. You and our babies are the only
people in this world I would burn entire countries for without thinking twice.”
My throat feels too tight, my bottom lip caught between my teeth just to stop it from trembling, but he
doesn’t stop.
“I don’t care what you think you saw. I don’t care if it looks like I’m protecting her. I am protecting you. I am protecting what’s mine.
“The only reason she’s on this plane is because if I left her behind, Marcus might get to her, and if Marcus gets to her, he gets closer to you. This is strategy, kitten. Not love. Not trust. Strategy. Every single move I make is to keep you alive, safe, and in my bed every night where you belong.”
My eyes sting again, but it’s different this time, less sharp. His voice gets lower, softer.
“I need you to believe me when I tell you that there is no one in my world who can stand where you stand. Not her. Not anyone. You’re it for me,/kitten. You’re the thing I wake up for.
“The thing I would kill for. The thing I would die for. So when I tell you it’s going to be fine, I don’t mean that in some vague way. I mean I will make it fine. I mean I will personally make sure nothing touches you unless I
want it to.”
Flight Of Desire
My chest still felt tight from everything he had just said, but instead of falling apart again like some sobbor hormonal disaster, I decided I was going to flip this around.
I tilted my head, let a slow smile curve my mouth, and dragged the tip of my tongue across my bottom lip knowing exactly what that look did to him.
“Then kiss me,” I said softly, almost daring him, because I wanted him to close that space between us and remind me that all of this was about me.
Oh, he laughed. Not a little chuckle or one of those short huffs either. He laughed like I had just said the most ridiculous thing in the world.
His head tipped back slightly, that deep, rich sound filling the air until it wrapped around me like it was mocking and seductive all at once.
I sat there with my eyebrows climbing higher by the second, because what exactly was so funny about me wanting a kiss?
“Why are you laughing?” I demanded, leaning forward like I was about to start an argument I had every intention of winning.
“I am literally sitting here being all cute and wanting you to kiss me, and you are acting like I just told you a joke. This is not the reaction I expected, Damon.”
His grin was dangerous, all sharp lines and pure confidence, and the way he looked at me made my stomach dip even as my irritation grew. “Aren’t you the cutest but I won’t lie baby you’re some crazy Luna, my little kitten… and I love you. Come here.”
The way he said come here was unfair. It made my pulse do stupid things and my knees feel weak in that embarrassing way that had me unbuckling my seatbelt almost without thinking.
I was halfway up, ready to climb into his lap and kiss him until neither of us remembered that Tasha was even on this plane, when the door slid open.
The flight attendant stepped in like she owned the place, her perfect hair and flawless makeup making her look like she had walked out of an ad for overpriced champagne.
She had a tray balanced in her hands and that fake–sweet smile plastered across her face. “Here are your food and drink, Alpha,” she said, setting it down in front of Damon with just a little too much flourish.
Then she leaned closer, her voice softening into something syrupy sweet that made my stomach churn. “If you want anything else, let me know.”
And then she winked. She actually winked.
My head tilted before I could stop it, my eyes narrowing, because there was no way I had just seen that. But she wasn’t done. Oh no, she was not done.
She bent down a little too far, her hands pressing against her own chest so her breasts pushed together and forward, like they were some sort of in–flight entertainment she had decided Damon needed to see.
She tilted them right into his line of sight, and I swear my blood temperature shot up by fifty degrees in one second.
I could feel the heat crawling up my neck, the kind of heat that makes your whole body buzz with rage and disbelief.
In my head I was already asking myself if she had a death with or if the west is made was blind?
Did she think I was just going to sit here like some quiet, sive Setle thing were the sad to se with a side of club soda? No. Absolutely not.

Oh, goodness gracious. My baby had been getting upset for no good reason ever since we boarded, and this was just another spark to the fire. I knew it was the pregnancy hormones I had read enough, heard enough. to understand they turned her temper into something with a hair–trigger.
But this wasn’t just hormones. This was Lyra. My kitten was naturally like this, fierce and territorial, and when you added pregnancy hormones into the mix… well, it was like giving a wildfire gasoline..
She was standing there, chest heaving, glaring down the poor flight attendant like she was deciding whether to scratch her eyes out. I leaned back, letting my hand slide lazily along the armrest, watching her with equal parts amusement and caution.
I
The truth was, I found it maddeningly attractive – the way she defended me like I belonged entirely to her — but I also knew if I didn’t step in, the scene would turn ugly fast.
“Kitten, calm down,” I said, my voice low and steady, the kind of tone I used when I wanted her to unclench that little fist of hers and remember I was in control. “She was not doing anything.”
Her head whipped toward me like I had just betrayed her. “Don’t tell me to calm down, Damon,” she shot back
instantly.
Her eyes were blazing, her whole body tight with that determined energy that told me she wasn’t about to
back down. “Let me handle this myself. You are not a lady, you do not know what I saw.”
She jabbed her finger toward the attendant, who was now looking between us like she was regretting every
career choice that had led her onto this plane.
“She leaned over you on purpose. She pushed her breasts together like she was serving them on a silver
platter. She winked at you, Damon. WINKED. You think I imagined that? No. I know exactly what I saw, and I
am not letting her get away with it.”
I had to bite back a smile because even in the middle of her fury, she was so damn beautiful it hurt.
But I also knew if I let her run wild right now, she’d probably have the woman hiding in the bathroom until we
landed.
And while part of me enjoyed the idea of my little Luna terrifying anyone who so much as looked at me wrong, another part knew I had to keep her from burning the plane down.
She wasn’t even close to being done. If anything, that first outburst was just her warm–up.
Lyra turned back to the attendant like she was squaring off for a fight she had been waiting her whole life for.
“You think you’re slick, don’t you? I saw exactly what you did. Don’t you dare stand there with that fake little
smile and pretend you were just doing your job. I saw the way you leaned over him. I saw the way you deliberately put your hands right there, pressing your boobs together like you were trying to serve them
alongside the food. That wasn’t an accident. That was planned. You wanted him to notice you.”
The attendant blinked, and Lyra pounced on that pause like a predator. “What’s wrong? Shocked I called you out? Do you think I’m blind? Or stupid? Do you think because I’m younger I wouldn’t pick up on it?
Don’t Mess With Me “Newsflash, sweetheart
I notice everything. Every movement, every look, every little twitch of desperation And that wink? That wink was the dumbest mistake you could have possibly made. You may as well have walked in here naked holding up a sign that said ‘please take me, Alpha.”
She was in full swing now, her hands flying as she talked, her chest rising and falling with each breath.
“Do you have any idea who you’re dealing with? This is my man. Mine. He’s not a free–for–all just because he’s powerful and attractive. You don’t get to use your job as an excuse to put yourself in his space. You don’t get to bend over him like you’re auditioning for a role in some cheap porno and think I’m just going to smile and
let it slide. That’s not how this works. Not with me.”
I caught the quick flicker in the attendant’s eyes, the way her cheeks flushed under the fire coming off my little Luna. She didn’t realize yet that Lyra wasn’t winding down, she was only getting started.
“In fact,” Lyra continued, stepping slightly closer, her voice dipping lower but somehow becoming even more dangerous, “let me make something crystal clear so you don’t make this mistake again.
“He’s mine when he’s awake, he’s mine when he’s
asleep, he’s mine when he’s out there tearing enemies apart, and he’s mine when he’s here with me on this
plane.
“He’s not thinking about you. He’s not going to touch you. And even if you were the last woman on earth and
the survival of the species depended on it, he would still choose me.”
Her eyes raked over the attendant like she was measuring her for a coffin. “Do yourself a favor from now until
we land, you will keep your eyes down, you will keep your hands to yourself, and you will not stand closer to
him than you absolutely have to.
“If I catch you even breathing in his direction in a way that makes me suspicious, I will personally make sure you regret it before we even hit the ground. And believe me, I am very creative when it comes to regret.”
The attendant’s voice came out small and shaky, as if she was trying to cling to the last shred of composure she had. “But I didn’t… I was just-”
Lyra’s eyes widened in mock innocence, and then her mouth twisted into a sharp little smirk that told me the
poor woman was about to regret every decision she had made in the past ten minutes.
“You were just what?” Lyra said, deliberately mimicking the attendant’s tone with an exaggerated whine that made it sound even more pathetic.
“I was just- oh, please. Cut the crap. I am not dumb. I have pulled that exact trick on him before, just so you know. Yes, I have done it, and I know exactly how it works, so you are not fooling me for one second. You might be older than me, but you are not wiser, you pathetic b***h, and I will tell you exactly why.
“You walk in here thinking you can bend over and give him a free look at your chest like you are some irresistible goddess, but let me tell you something, honey, that is not impressive to me, and it is not impressive to him either.”
She was leaning forward now, her voice rising with each sentence as her hands moved to punctuate every single word.
–
“Those boobs of yours, let me guess you paid for them. You did a BBL, right? Absolutely pathetic. Mine are natural, and in case you have not noticed, he does not like fake things and he does not like plastic things.
“He likes what is real, and that is me now go kotor wishes from pure apk big bad Alpha Damon that every woman probably dreamie loot de que

Her eyes were locked on the attendant’s like a predator who has her comeres hyme

“Never, and I mean never, pull that stort you pulled just now aver again do not even for more deg even let it cross your mind. Because if you do, I will make sure you are approard marine

“Now get out of our sight before I decide to drag those fake extensions as out of your tasty seped

The attendant’s face crumpled instantly, and the tears began to sgill Before she could m
test 1 am so sorry, ma’am,” she stammered between little gasps, her hands trembling as the Met soos ons the tray. “I did not know you were the Luna. I thought you were his daughter cause you look so younger than him. It will not happen again, I swear.”
Lyra straightened her back and lifted her chin high like a queen delivering her final onder Cut to se and do not come serve us again. Let another person do the job, because if I see you walk back in tens de am on this plane, I promise you that you will regret it before you even have time to Blink
The woman nodded so quickly it almost looked painful, then turned and hurried out of the cabin, the cos
closing behind her in a rush.
Lyra was still standing there, cheeks flushed, eyes blazing, chest rising and falling with every heavy breath
She looked like she had just fought off an intruder rather than chased away a fight attendant, and every not of her possessiveness made my blood heat in ways I was not going to say out loud right now
My kitten was pregnant, hormonal, fierce, and absolutely unafraid to set the world on fire for me and I had
never wanted her more.
I leaned back in my seat, my eyes still locked on her.
“You are feisty, kitten. You just made a grow woman cry
She turned to me slowly, her lips curving into the kind of smile that was pure trouble.
“Feisty?” she repeated, tilting her head in mock innocence, though the glint in her eyes told me she was about to test me. “You have no idea, Damon. And you know what’s even better? I am sitting here, all wound
up, blood boiling, and the only thing that’s going to calm me down now is you. But I’m not sure you can handle me like this. I’m hormónal, I’m possessive, and I’m already imagining ways to make you prove you’re
mine, right here, right now.”
Her hand slid slowly along the armrest until her fingers brushed mine, her gaze never wavering from my face. “So, tell me, Alpha… do you still think I’m just feisty, or are you ready to find out exactly what I mean?”
I felt my jaw tighten, my pulse kicking harder, and I knew in that instant that if no one interrupted us in the
next thirty seconds, there would be no pretending to be civilized.
The look she gave me made it very clear. We were not making it to the landing without breaking a few rules.
Hleaned back slightly, my eyes trailing over her, and the corner of my mouth curved in a way that I knew made
Don’t Mess With Me
her thighs press together.
“We’ve got a few hours before we land,” I murmured, my eyes locked on her mouth. “That’s more than enough time for me to bend you over that seat, f**k you until you can’t speak, and make you drip all over my cak
while the whole damn crew pretends they can’t hear you screaming Daddy’s name.”
“Come show Daddy exactly what that mouth can do.”

Who Are You?
~Lyra
So…. how do I even begin to explain what just happened? I mean, technically, I could give you the clean, polite version, “we spent the rest of the flight enjoying each other’s company” but that would make me a llar, and lying to you feels pointless when my hair still smells like Damon’s cologne and my legs are still doing that awkward post–s*x wobble every time I move.
Let’s just say there was a moment, okay, several moments, where I was ninety percent sure we were going to get kicked off the plane midair.
You ever try to be quiet when someone is literally ruining you in a leather seat designed for business meetings? Yeah, exactly. Not possible. I think I bit my own hand so hard at one point just to keep from screaming that I left teeth marks, and he just laughed against my skin like the smug Alpha he is.
Also, I may have accidentally hit the little flight attendant call button with my foot in the middle of… well, you
know.
–
And Damon – oh my God – Damon didn’t even flinch. He looked me dead in the eyes and said, “Don’t stop,” like we were in some kind of filthy action movie and a bomb would go off if I let go of him.
Thankfully, no one came in, because if they had, they would’ve had front–row seats to something that would’ve gotten me banned from air travel forever.
By the time we landed, my hair was a mess, my shirt was on backwards, don’t ask how, I genuinely do not
know and Damon had that look like he was ready to carry me off the plane like some victorious wolf king who had just claimed his prize. Which, to be fair, he kind of had.
Now here we are, driving toward the pack house, and my brain is doing this weird thing where it’s trying to
process everything.
The s*x, the fact that Tasha is somewhere behind us in another car, the reality that I’m about to live in the middle of an actual wolf pack as the Luna, and the tiny detail that I’m pregnant with the Alpha’s babies.
No pressure, right?
All I need to do is calm down. You know, don’t overthink. Keep breathing. Pretend I’m just… moving into a nice big house in the countryside with my ridiculously hot Alpha mate s***h baby daddy and not the literal
headquarters of an entire pack who probably already knows way too much about me.
But I couldn’t help but wonder. Will I see his mum? Does he have a mum? Oh my God, what if I see his mum. What if she hates me on sight because I’m young and pregnant and already look like I’ve been through a
hurricane?
And his sisters! Brothers! Do they exist? Are there cousins? Is there a terrifying grandma who sits in a rocking chair and judges me with her eyes? Well… technically, Damon hasn’t said anything concerning them.
Which could either mean they’re all dead, they’re all in hiding, or he’s deliberately keeping me from knowing about them because he thinks I’ll embarrass him.
Okay. Calm down, Lyra. You’re fine- nope, nope, calm down, calm down. Do not freak out before you even see the front gates. Breathe.
Smile. Pretend you belong here, even if deep down you feel like you’re about to walk into the season finale of
some wolf version of a family soap opera.
In no time we got to the gate, and honestly, what we saw was horrifying. The compound was big → I mean extremely big, the kind of big that made me feel like my entire hometown could fit inside and still have room left over for a football field, a swimming pool, and maybe a mall. I am not even kidding.
Okay, maybe I am exaggerating just a little, but not really, because this place was massive. The road
stretched so far inside that I could barely see the end of it.
There were houses everywhere, like somebody had been playing The Sims on god mode and decided to build
a bunch of luxury homes just because they could.
I kept trying to take it all in, craning my neck left and right like a tourist on her first trip to Disneyland, except this wasn’t Disneyland.
This was Damon–land. And unlike Disneyland, there were actual wolves – real, living, breathing wolves – prowling the edges of the grounds with that sharp, hungry look that made me wonder if they’d been trained
to attack on command.
Which, knowing Damon, they probably had. And honestly, I could already feel their eyes on me through the tinted glass, and my brain started doing that thing where it overthinks everything.
Were they sniffing me out? Could they smell that I was new? Could they smell that I was pregnant? Oh my God, could they smell what we did on the plane?
But then I saw it. The burnt house.
And my brain instantly started spiraling again. Who the hell would burn down something like this? This wasn’t just property damage – this was personal. Did someone break in?
Was it an enemy pack? Was it rogues? Was it some psycho with a grudge against Damon? Or worse… was it
someone inside the pack?
“f**k,” I blurted, and my hand instantly flew to my mouth like maybe I could stuff the word back in if I moved fast enough.
But it was too late, my brain–to–mouth filter had completely shut down. My chest tightened, and I turned to him with my heart hammering.
“Oh my gosh, Damon… I am so sorry. It looks horrible. I mean, it doesn’t just look like a house that caught fire. It looks like someone took every good memory you ever had in there and decided to burn it just to hurt you. And I don’t even know what to say because this is–this is awful.”
I reached out and touched his arm before I even realized I was moving. “Please tell me you’re okay. Or, well, I know you’re not okay, but tell me you’re not about to break the steering wheel in half or shift right here in the driver’s seat because I’m not ready to explain to anyone why their Alpha is naked behind the wheel before we
even make it to the front door.”
“I am fine, kitten. That is why we are here, right? To find out who did it. And when I do, it will not be funny. It will not be quick. It will not be something they can walk away from and tell stories about. It will be the last thing they ever remember.”

Are You?
“I do not care if it was one person or an entire pack. I will make them all pay. Every single one of them. I will burn down everything they have ever loved, just like they tried to do to me. I will make sure their last breath tastes like ash, and they will know it was me who gave it to them.”
We finally pulled up to the front of what I assumed was the main entrance of the compound, and Damon slid the car smoothly into park..
I was still holding on to my seatbelt like it was some kind of emotional support device, trying to convince myself to breathe normally and act like I belonged here and then a woman came striding out toward the car with the kind of presence that made it impossible to look anywhere else.
She reached Damon and gave him a bright smile that looked warm enough to melt ice, and then she said, ” Hey, little brother. Good to have you here.”
Little brother? Like My Alpha? Little brother? That sounded so freaking weird.
My thoughts instantly started tripping over themselves because what did she just call him? Since when did Damon have a sister? Why had this never come up before?
We have talked about so many things and not once did he think to mention that somewhere in this giant, secretive wolf family of his, there was a sister who clearly knew him well enough to greet him like this was
routine.
And if he had a sister, did that mean there were more siblings? Brothers? Cousins? A whole family tree full of
intimidatingly good–looking relatives who were just waiting to meet me and judge me? Was this something he had deliberately kept from me so I would not overthink it? Because spoiler alert: I am overthinking it now.
She finally turned her attention toward me, and the smile shifted into something more curious. It was not unfriendly, but it also was not the instant warmth she had shown Damon.
It was the kind of look people give when they are trying to decide exactly how much of a threat you are.
“Hi. Who are you?” she asked. Her voice was perfectly polite, but I could not tell if she was actually interested in the answer or just asking because it was the socially acceptable thing to do.
I opened my mouth, ready to say my name and something neat and simple that would make me sound put–together, but before I could get a single word out, her gaze shifted past me toward the car that had just pulled in behind us.
The second car door opened, and Tasha stepped out. She moved slowly, her shoulders slightly hunched, her face still pale from everything that had happened earlier.
I barely had time to register the fact that the woman’s eyes had landed on her before her entire expression
changed.
Her brows drew together so sharply it looked painful, her smile vanished completely, and her voice when she
spoke again was sharp enough to cut the air in half. “What is your stupid daughter doing here, Damon?”
I froze. I could actually feel my brain short–circuiting at the words. Stupid daughter? Did I hear that right? Was she seriously talking about Tasha? And she said it right in front of her like it was nothing.
“Hi, Aunt Lilian,” Tasha said softly, her voice small in a way I had never heard before.
Okay. Wait. Hold on. Aunt Lilian? What just happened? I was sitting there buckled in, staring between them
Who Are You?
like I had accidentally walked into the wrong family reunion.
My brain was ping–ponging between Damon has a sister? and Tasha just called her aunt? and Why does Aunt Lilian hate Tasha enough to call her stupid to her face in the first thirty seconds?
I was officially, completely, utterly confused.
