Chapter 526: WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

Inside the car, Gavin helped Jenny buckle the seatbelt and said," I want to take you somewhere"

Jenny furrowed hearing her words, but before she could utter a word, Gavin quickly put on his seatbelt and turned on the engine, quickly driving the car away from her workplace.

Jenny had no idea where Gavin was taking her, but she chose not to voice her thoughts. She thought maybe he wanted to make up for the breakfast date they missed the other day.

However, when their car drove to the other side of the restaurant they previously visited, Jenny realized they were going somewhere else.

Jenny was skeptical about their destination, however when their car entered the gates of a huge mansion, Jenny shot her head in Gavin’s direction in complete awe and asked,

"Whose house is this?"

Gavin simply smiled at her and stopped the car in front of the house.

"Let’s go," he said and stepped out.

Jenny silently followed his words and hopped out. Turning her head towards Gavin she watched him look up, waving his hand at someone.

Jenny’s heart dropped in her stomach and she quickly followed his line of sight only to find Actor Riel Scott standing on the balcony waving back at them.

Jenny stood still darting her eyes back and forth between the two until she heard Gavin’s voice.

"Let’s go inside" Grabbing onto her wrist, Gavin dragged the stunned Jenny inside the house, however the moment she stepped inside her eyes popped out in shock.

"BIANCA!"

"JENNY!"

Two loud voices echoed inside the living hall, grabbing everyone’s attention towards the stunned girls.

Letting go of Jenny’s hand, Gavin watched her sprint towards her friend and grab onto her shoulder.

" What are you doing here?" she asked watching her friend present inside the house of a man whom they only saw on television.

Riel Scott was a sensation among girls and Bianca had been crushing on him the moment she saw him on the magazine cover picture. Ever since that day, Bianca had liked this man, but finding her living with him took her by shock.

Bianca on the other hand had the same reaction as Jenny. She was supposed to meet Riel’s friends who would be working with them in finding Sandra, however, Jenny being one of them got Bianca off guard.

"I think there’s no need for an introduction as you two already know each other" Gabriel’s voice caught their attention and both Jenny and Bianca turned to face him.

Riel walked past the two and joined Gavin. "You didn’t tell her?" he asked and watched the latter shrug his shoulder.

"I wanted to surprise her" Gavin answered.

Bianca and Jenny frown observing their interaction. They both entirely ignored their presence and talked with each other until Gabriel remembered something and said.

"Ah.. by the way, Bianca, this is Gavin, my brother and she is his girlfriend, Jenny," Riel said and again withdrew his attention back to Gavin.

Bianca and Jenny were rendered speechless before they darted their eyes from the men and stared at each other.

"Girlfriend" Bianca repeated giving Jenny a shocking look whilst the other gulped in return.

The introduction came as a surprise for Bianca, however, Jenny found it hard to digest the look, Riel passed it to Bianca while he introduced her.

While the men excused them and headed to Gabriel’s study, Bianca and Jenny had somewhat understood the situation.

"So you have been staying with your crush all this time!!! No doubt you never disclose his name" Jenny rolled her eyes, still finding it hard to come to terms with how her friend chose to keep such a big secret from her.

"I never thought Gavin and Gabriel were connected until today. If I had known, why would have hidden anything from you" Bianca reasoned.

Jenny attentively heard her and realized Bianca wasn’t someone who kept secrets from her unless it was necessary.

"I can understand your situation, but still you should’ve given me a hint. It was so embarrassing to shout inside someone’s house like that. What must be Mr. Scott thinking"

Bianca noticed the flustered look on Jenny’s face and smiled. Jenny knew how much she admired Riel as a fan and it was a genuine kind of reaction from her when she realized Bianca was staying with her crush the entire time.

"Anyways, what about you and Gavin? Are you a thing or something?" Bianca asked.

Bianca wasn’t shocked to see Gavin as she already assumed him to be the friend Gabriel mentioned. However, finding Jenny tagging him along and the way Gabriel introduced her as his girlfriend left her surprised.

Bianca remembered how Jenny refused to fall in love after she went through a devastating heartbreak. But accepting Gavin into her life was not like she expected.

Jenny paused for a second wondering whether she should speak the truth or not, but knowing Bianca, Jenny knew she could trust her with that.

"We are pretending. Nothing is going on between us. We opt for a fake relationship to stop are parents from finding us a perfect match" Jenny spilled with a straight face.

Though she kept it clear, something inside her heart felt weird. As if she didn’t want to say those words yet, she spoke it.

Bianca gaped watching her friend in disbelief, however Jenny simply looked away.

"You know what you are doing right. What if your parents find out" Bianca asked and watched her respond with a meaningful stare.

It was so unreal to believe Jenny would come to date a man just for the sake of stopping her parents from finding her a match. And what about Gavin, did he agree to her just like that?

So many thoughts clouded her mind but she decided to remain quiet.

Bianca knew Jenny was a sorted person knowing good and bad, but why did find this decision selfish?

It had been years since she lost her first love however Jenny was still struggling to move on. But for how long will she be like this...

 

Chapter 527: Jealous over nothing

Inside the study, both Gavin and Gabriel were having a serious discussion regarding Doctor Martin.

Two days passed and yet they weren’t able to get anything from him. He seemed to be very careful even though Bianca’s presence did somewhat affect him mentally.

"You think one meeting would be enough. I mean, you said Martin saw Bianca, then why isn’t he reacting" Gavin asked.

Somehow his words did bother Gabriel, however, he wanted to take one step at a time.

"He will make a move. We just have to wait" Gabriel responded.

Gabriel didn’t want to put Bianca’s life in trouble again and not after knowing how Martin forced Bianca to handle a case that was against the hospital policies,

He purposely dragged Bianca into this mess because she rejected him. Like seriously,

’Was he even a man’ Gabriel sneered at his incompetency. He targets a woman just to get back to her.

Gabriel came to find out about Martin’s obsession with Bianca. He wanted to date her but when she refused him, Martin took the rejection to his heart, eventually dragging Bianca into a life-threatening situation.

Bianca had been missing for a while now, yet the man was relaxed.

’Such a jerk!’

Gavin who had been observing Gabriel noticed the hundred different expressions that took place within the span of a few minutes. The mention of Bianca’s name somehow ended up affecting Gabriel’s thoughts.

He might not express it but his reactions said a thousand words.

"Brother are you sure, you are just protecting Bianca and there is nothing else going on in your mind" Gavin’s unexpected words snapped Gabriel out of his thoughts and he shot his eyes at him.

"What do mean?" Gabriel asked with a deep frown.

Gavin saw the change in his expression once again and her that was enough of a confirmation for him.

"I mean, why don’t you let her resume her work? If she happened to be inside the hospital, don’t you think her abductor might come for her sooner than later" Gavin pointed however Gabriel instantly refused him.

"NO!"

"Why! Don’t you think that keeping her here will only extend our search" Gavin mentally smiled, but kept pushing Gabriel’s button.

Gavin could see how protective Gabriel had been towards Bianca. A person who hardly cared for someone started showing signs of worry for a girl whom he met recently.

"I can’t risk her life" Gabriel bluntly declined, glaring at Gavin. The thought of letting Bianca join the hospital bothered Gabriel. He can’t let her be around the man who was after her life.

"But why" Gavin urged and saw the rage inside Gabriel’s eyes falter.

As if his words hit right into his heart, Gabriel fell into a deep thought.

’Why didn’t he want to risk her life’

’Was it because of the promise he made to her or, was it that he had started caring for her’

Gabriel had closed his heart from getting involved with anyone, but thinking about something happening to Bianca troubled him.

The image of her unconscious body resting on the side of the road crossed his mind and his palm balled into a tight fist.

"There’s no specific reason" Gabriel shot back expressing his final decision.

Gavin pursed his lips into a thin line however failed to hide his amusement.

"Okay...okay if that’s what you say"

Gabriel’s face darkened at his laughable reaction and he asked," Did I say something funny"

"No"

"Then why are you smiling" he asked.

Gavin might not know Gabriel that much, but he knows how a person reacts when they refuse to accept their feelings for the one they love.

Gabriel wasn’t an exception either and Gavin realized that he was slowly falling for the girl he decided to give shelter out of agreement, however was aware of it.

"It’s nothing. I just happened to remember my brother" Gabriel furrowed but decided to ignore his smile and focus on the purpose of summoning here.

They knew Sandra was residing in the same city, however, her location was untraceable.

Gabriel remembered Bianca mentioning the man who brought Sandra to the hospital. Unfortunately, she couldn’t see his face as he kept his appearance hidden.

And now he was sure that it wasn’t Sandra who wanted Bianca dead, instead, it was the man who was trying to cut all the leads that would expose them.

"Any progress from your end," Gabriel asked.

"No, not yet. Jenny has been observing Martin’s schedule, however, the outcome is the same" Gavin stated.

Gabriel fell deep into thoughts. Martin had been the prime suspect and even after monitoring him closely, there didn’t seem to be any mistake from his side.

KNOCK KNOCK!

Both Gavin and Gabriel snapped out of their thoughts and turned to look at the door.

"Have you both done yet? The lunch is ready" Bianca said walking inside the study.

After waiting for the two of them to return, Bianca initiated to check on them using lunch as an excuse.

Gabriel looked at Bianca and the moment she saw her smile looking at Gavin, his lips twitched.

"Yes, we are almost done" Gavin replied on their behalf and turned to look at Gabriel only to receive a glare in return.

Bianca noticed the silent exchange of stares between the two before she slowly excused herself.

"Stop smiling like that. Did you forget your girlfriend is waiting for you downstairs" Gabriel remarked washing the smile on Gavin’s face instantly.

The way his expression turned grim after watching her interaction with Bianca, Gavin couldn’t help but grin.

"It’s not like I was flirting with her. It’s you who is getting jealous over nothing" Casually shrugging his shoulder, Gavin got up to leave, however, he stopped at looked back.

"And it somewhat suits you" Gavin winked and walked out of the study leaving Gabriel stunned by his last remark.

’Jealous and he?’

"What nonsense he spouting. Why would I be jealous of him" Gabriel frowned finding his words lame before following him downstairs.

Chapter 528: His first kiss

Everyone settled on the dining table taking their respective seats. While Gavin and Jenny sat extremely quiet, Bianca secretly glanced at them, watching them occasionally smile at each other.

Bianca knew the reason behind their fake relationship, however, she decided to keep it to herself as she didn’t want the couple to feel awkward.

"Ha, by the way, Gavin. I heard you made your relationship official after your first meeting. Can you tell me what made you like her so quickly" Bianca suddenly asked breaking their small eye contact, and making them turn their head toward her.

Gabriel who was drinking water, choked at Bianca’s bold remark. "Does anyone need any reason to like someone? What are you trying to say" he asked averting his attention to the side, at Bianca.

Bianca heaved out a sheepish smile but she didn’t take back her words. Knowing the reason behind their togetherness, Bianca wanted to know what Gavin felt about the whole faking thing.

She doubted that Gavin did like Jenny or else who would agree to be in a fake relationship with someone just for their parent’s sake.

Gavin glanced at Jenny and stretched a smile. "Brother is right. When you like someone, there isn’t any specific reason, but if I have to state one reason why I like Jenny then it would be her selfless heart"

Gavin’s words caught everyone’s attention at him, but the one who was caught off guard was Jenny.

Gavin’s words hit right into her heart and she found herself getting spelled by those hypnotic blue eyes. The moment their eyes met, Gavin flashed a loving smile at her and Jenny felt her heart skip a beat.

"Aww... how romantic," Bianca said dreamily watching the couple. However, she failed to see the man sitting next to her throwing daggers on her way.

That remark from Bianca irked Gabriel. ’Romantic! Huh, What is so romantic about his words’

Gabriel was boiling with jealousy yet was unaware of the feeling until Bianca turned smiling at him and all his rage burst like a balloon, releasing all the air.

Unknown to Gabriel, his lips curved into a pleasant smile, forgetting all the thoughts that bothered him a few seconds ago.

The group finished eating their lunch before Gavin drove Jenny back to the hospital.

Bianca helped Janet clear the table, however, she didn’t fail to notice Gabriel’s intense stare at her.

Once done, Bianca turned and faced him," Why are you staring at me?" she asked breaking Gabriel’s gaze from her.

Caught, Gabriel instantly looked away and scrunched his nose awkwardly. "Staring! Who? Me!"

"Why would I stare at you?"

Bianca still staring at Gabriel dumbfoundedly. The way Gabriel avoided meeting her eyes took her by surprise. However, she quickly composed herself and crossed her hand, throwing a question look at his way.

"Yes, you mister. I saw you staring at me and now I want to know why"

Gabriel’s and Bianca’s relationship changed from that night. They started to get comfortable with each other, however, there was still a sense of awkwardness between them whenever they caught one of them staring at each other.

While Gabriel kept it to himself whenever he saw Bianca looking at him, it wasn’t the same with Bianca. She tried her best to avoid speaking it but after failing to keep up with this stare game, she finally voiced her thought.

However, watching him act indifferently bothered her.

Gabriel on the other hand snapped his eyes and watched her glaring at him with her arms resting against her chest. She looked like a teacher who caught her student cheating in an exam.

Gabriel gulped at the sight of her frown face. He would have never realized but Bianca looked beautiful even when she was angry.

’What!’ Gabriel subconsciously almost fainted at his fetish thoughts, which were slowly growing weird just like him.

"Tell me, Gabriel, that you were staring at me?" she repeated taking a step closer to him.

Gabriel failed to look away, however when she stood in front of him and slowly bent, his eyes grew wide.

He wasn’t used to this closeness unless it was professional, however, Bianca managed to stir his emotions every time she approached him, like this, almost taking his breath away.

Gabriel found it hard to speak, however, the more he resisted, Bianca would move closer to him. She was trying to intimidate him, but little did she know her actions were provoking his inner desire. Something Gabriel thought he wouldn’t feel for anyone.

Gabriel felt a thousand emotions stir in that mere moment however he was too cowardly to face them. Bianca’s questionable stares were giving him a hard time.

Unable to handle her intense gaze, Gabriel immediately tried to get away from her, but the moment he stood up, unknowingly he kicked Bianca’s leg that stood just closer to him and they tripped.

"Ah~ Umm"

Gabriel slumped back in his seat, while, Bianca landed directly fell on him, and their lips collided.

THUMP-THUMP!

A moment of silence engulfed the two with only the sound of their beating hearts echoing into their mind, while their lips kept resting on each other.

Gabriel’s hands instinctively wrapped around Bianca’s waist after the fall, tightened.

It was his first kiss, and Gabriel had no idea what to do. But as if something clicked in his heart, his eyes slowly closed and he kissed Bianca.

Bianca stilled when his lips started to move on hers. However, she eventually found herself kissing him back.

Her hands slowly wrapped around his neck and they found themselves kissing passionately. It was an instant connection they felt when their lips locked. And they both enjoyed it to their heart content.

’Why does she feel so nice in my arms and my god... her lips... they are tempting me’ Gabriel’s thoughts began to process with every clasp he made with her luscious lips. She fit perfectly in his arms and he found himself getting drowned in her sweet yet intoxicated scent.

"Umm..." Bianca’s sensual moan added fuel to his inner desire, and he instantly pressed her against his firm chest and devoured her mouth.

Chapter 529: She was a girl with scar

With their bodies pressing each other, Gabriel slowly parted his lips and sucked her mouth. She was like a drug, unable to resist and Gabriel slowly found himself getting addicted to it.

’Why does she taste like heaven’

Gabriel found a new flame of sensation lit into his body while he kept savoring her lips. For the first time, he thought to never stop and just keep kissing her to his heart’s content.

But all his wishes snapped when he sensed the discomfort from Bianca’s end. It was then he realized she hadn’t objected to him for once and remained stiff the entire time. Her lips kept moving along however her body remained frozen like a rock and that sign made him pull back.

Gabriel beat him heavily while his eyes observed Bianca who didn’t react and just remained seated on his lap with her eyes closed.

Her hand clung to his shoulder while she kept clutching his clothes tightly.

"Bianca, breath" Gabriel mumbled and finally saw her compose from that frozen state.

Bianca sucked in a deep breath and slowly opened her eyes. As their eyes and indescribable feeling filled her heart and a blush crept on her cheeks.

The way Gabriel stared at her, gave her a sense of security. Something she never felt before, however with Gabriel everything felt as if it was in the right place and there was nothing wrong in whatever happened between them.

Gabriel’s eyes didn’t waver from her even for a second and once he assured that Bianca was back to normal he apologized.

"I-I am s-sorry. I didn’t mean to-"

"It’s not your fault. I am the o-one to be blamed. So please don’t say sorry" Bianca quickly retorted stopping Gabriel from taking the blame.

If she had not pushed him so much, he would have reacted like that and she wouldn’t have ended up falling on him and then the kiss...

Bianca gaped when the image of them kissing each other crossed her mind and she let go of his shoulder and stood up.

"S-Sorry once again" Bianca mumbled awkwardly and ran from there leaving Gabriel stunned.

It took a moment for Gabriel to understand what just happened, however, when the realization hit him, everything started to feel different.

Gabriel’s heart began to pound inside his chest as a feeling of restlessness surged into his body and his hand intuitively reached to touch his lips.

The feeling of her warm yet soft lips still lingered in his mind and he found it hard to resist.

Gabriel knew he shouldn’t be taking this incident seriously as it was just an accident but how was he supposed to forget his first kiss?!

While Gabriel was busy dealing with his muddled feelings, Bianca too felt the same. Resting her back against the door, Bianca rested her palm over her chest and felt her heartbeat profoundly.

Biting her lower lips, she recalled how she reciprocated Gabriel’s kiss and how not for once it felt wrong.

"What is happening to me?" she asked herself however no one answered.

Gabriel was slowly making his way to her and she couldn’t help but find herself falling for him.

’Is this what they call love?’

"No.no.. how can an accident kiss be termed as love" Bianca argued.

’But why didn’t he stop’

Bianca suddenly fell silent. Even though it was an accidental kiss, why did he stop?

Bianca gasped and covered her mouth, stopping her from concluding anything.

"How am I supposed to face him now" she cried to herself finding the situation suddenly getting awkward between the two after they shared their first-ever kiss.

Yes, just like Gabriel, it was Bianca’s first kiss too and she happened to get it from her crush.

’However, should she still term it as a crush when Bianca knew it wasn’t the case anymore’

Dropping her head defeatedly, Bianca closed her eyes. She had no clue how she should react or play around Gabriel. She didn’t even know if Gabriel felt the same for her or if it was just her illusion, however, one thing she was sure about, was that Gabriel’s heart raced when she kissed him back.

After leaving Gabriel’s place, Gavin dropped Jenny back at the hospital, however before she stepped out Jenny turned towards Gavin and asked.

"The words, you said during lunch, you didn’t mean them, right" Jenny purposely brought up the topic that bothered her throughout the drive. She wanted to know if whatever Gavin said wasn’t true and if it was just an act he put in front of their friends.

Gavin paused hearing her words, however, he faced her and asked," What do you think? Did I lie or you did feel my sincere words"

Jenny was caught off guard when Gabi suddenly reached and grabbed her hand. It was an unexpected gesture, and Jenny found her heart beating like a drum.

"I meant every word I said, so never think it was an act" Gavin declared right away leaving Jenny rendered speechless.

Gavin had been cautious about his intentions towards Jenny. However, he realized how much her presence enlightened his life. Yes, they weren’t like other couples but Gavin found himself getting attached to Jenny emotionally.

She was a girl with scars and he wanted to be the one to heal her.

Gavin’s eyes remained fixated on Jenny, however, his mind drifted to the conversation he had with her father the previous night.

’She has faced a lot Gavin, and I don’t want her to be like this forever. Please, as her father I want my daughter to be happy and free herself from the pain she is carrying in her heart. So please, Heal her scars, Gavin, and make her fall in love’

Marcus was just a desperate father who only wished his daughter immense happiness. So ignoring his doubts Gavin agreed to him without any second thoughts and now he wanted to date Jenny for real.

Gavin would do everything to make her fall for him. He would open her heart once again, healing all the wounds and love her endlessly.

She deserves a second in love and he could give her all the happiness she was trying to run away from.

Chapter 530: She is again up to something

Jenny slumped in her chair defeatedly and closed her eyes. She was lost in her thoughts. Gavin’s words somehow happened to stir her emotions and she couldn’t help but get confused.

"Why did he say those words" she mumbled to herself and took in a deep breath.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

The sound on the door snapped her out of her thoughts and she quickly straightened up. Her eyes went towards the door and Jenny saw Doctor Martin step him.

"I hope I am not disturbing you, Doctor Jenny"

Jenny’s face darkened on Martin’s arrival, however, she quickly masked her displeasure and forced a smile welcoming him inside her cabin.

"No, you aren’t. Please have a seat, Doctor Martin" she said politely and watched him take the seat in front of her desk.

Two days passed since the restaurant incident, however, Martin remained indifferent, despite witnessing Bianca there.

However, after two days, she could finally sense something strange when he unexpectedly visited her cabin, during working hours.

Jenny squinted her eyes and carefully observed the man. He might appear aloof from the outside, but she had a feeling that Martin was trying to conceal his fears.

"Ah, Doctor Jenny, I just wanted to ask you something" Martin began breaking Jenny’s curious gaze.

"Yes, go on" Jenny composed herself and asked him to speak.

Martin knew Bianca had managed to escape from the abductor and after coming across her in the restaurant, he wanted to make sure she happened to contact her bestie somehow.

"Do you have any idea where Bianca is? I mean you are her best friend and she only talks with you. So-"

Jenny’s eyes turned cold, however, she maintained her cool, stopping herself from bursting out.

"I think you forgot Doctor Martin. Bianca has been missing for almost ten days and instead of finding her, you are asking me whether I know where she is!"

Martin’s face paled when Jenny rudely answered him back. The always quiet Jenny was arguing with him and that took Martin by surprise.

"I-I didn’t mean to say that however I-"

"However what Doctor Martin. Did you forget how you stopped me the other day from speaking anything about Bianca to her family? Then why are you suddenly worried whether she called me or not"

"Is there anything you are trying to hide Doctor Martin" Jenny narrowed her eyes watching the man almost lose all the color on his face.

Martin was on the verge of breaking into sweat, however like the lair he was, he immediately shook his head and laughed anxiously.

"Oh! Right. How can I forget that? See I am so busy these days that I forgot, Bianca had gone missing." Martin chuckled however watching Jenny stare at him coldly, his smile faltered to slowly disappear.

"Ahem.. I think I should get back to work." unable to handle her gaze Martin quickly excused himself.

As soon as the door behind him closed, Martin quickly pulled out the handkerchief from his pocket and wiped off his face, nervously.

He almost got himself, however, it was confirmed and that Jenny wasn’t aware of Bianca’s whereabouts. If she had known then Jenny wouldn’t have reacted the way she did inside.

Martin heaved out a deep breath and composed himself before heading back to his cabin.

As soon as he entered inside, Martin made a call to the man whom he had been secretly associating with. No one knew how Martin sold himself for some money, however now he regretted it because the reason why he stooped low was out there somewhere and if he didn’t find her then he feared he would lose everything.

Biting his lips anxiously, Martin waited for the person to answer his calls.

"You are wrong, Jenny doesn’t know anything about Bianca," he said as soon as the person answered the call.

Lucas’ face darkened upon hearing his words. The confidence in his words somewhat took him back, however, he knew something was fishy.

Jenny was Bianca’s closest friend and there was no way she wouldn’t contact her only friend.

Taking a moment Lucas spoke," Don’t drop your guards until you find Bianca, or else get ready to lose your life"

Lucas’ warning drained all the blood from Martin’s face and his handle trembled dropping the cell phone from his hold.

Martin gulped and quickly reached out to grab the glass of water from his desk. Gulping it down, Martin slammed the glass on the table and cursed.

"It’s all because of you Bianca. If you hadn’t rejected me. I wouldn’t have stooped this low. And now by running away, you have once again landed me into big trouble" Martin blamed Bianca for all his misery, but little did he know Lucas was just using him for the time being before tossing him away like a used tissue.

"Jennifer doesn’t know what she has gotten herself into" Ashley turned off her mobile screen and tossed the phone aside.

After getting thrown out from her former agency, Jennifer still managed to get some work, using her previous connection. She was enjoying the life she chose however she wasn’t seeing the trouble she was getting herself into.

The more she was letting her greed take over her conscience the more she was digging a hole for herself.

Sandra had been quite hideous about her motive ever since she joined hands with Jennifer. She had been secretively keeping an eye on every one of them but still hadn’t taken any action against them. However, she knew, that whatever she would do, Jennifer would be the one to suffer.

"Ma’am, this is the dress you would be wearing for the teaser launch," Miley said presenting the dress to Ashley.
