Chapter 456: Feel More Aggrieved

“Stephen!” Dinah kicked the door of the bathroom open.

“How…” Before she could say another word, Stephen caught her neck. He was like a devil who just escaped from hell and tightened his fingers around her neck.

“You should be dead!” He clenched his teeth. He ached to tear Dinah into pieces now.

How could she drug him to get him?

Dinah was forced to step backward. She did her best to get rid of Stephen’s fingers in vain and fought for breath. When Stephen hand tightly grip her neck, and she almost becomes unconscious, a great force coming inside her, shifts her into a vampire.

“C-Calm down.”

This was the first time that she had felt scared and forcibly used her own power. The fear wasn’t from an enemy, but from a man, she loved most.

How could he judge her like that? She felt so aggrieved.

In his eyes, was she so disgusting?

Dinah wanted to explain it, but she was too proud to do that, and she was now shifted into a vampire.

A mocking smile drew in Stephen’s handsome face, “Oh, the monster suddenly shifted,”

Hearing an insult coming from him, she composed herself and put on a proud smile. “Yeah, a monster that makes you feel disgusted and a monster that became your wife. Stephen, don’t you stay alert all the time? How come you had no idea that your water was drugged?”

The second she finished her sentences, Stephen looked at her as cold as ice.

“Dinah, what do you want?” There was a dangerous smile on his lips.

Dinah removed her hands and let him lift her up by holding her neck. “I dare you to kill me. I knew you could kill me,”

In fact, he dared do that but didn’t bother to.

Without delay, Stephen threw her out. Dinah planned to do a backward somersault to get back to the floor on her feet, but she lost too much energy after having the whole night sex and used her inner power.

When Stephen threw her out, she just kicked the door of the bathroom open and knocked her head against a corner of the bed when she fell down.

It was so painful that she almost fainted. And she shifted back into her human form.

Stephen sneered, which scared Dinah again.

“You don’t deserve it!” he said in a cold tone.

“I don’t deserve it? Does Kylie deserve it?”

She’s Ethan’s wife now, and she’s carrying his babies! Dinah thought to herself.

When she was about to yell it aloud, she noticed blood dropping down from Stephen’s hand, which was hanging by his body.

Subconsciously, she looked down at her own hand.

Dinah’s hand was also covered with much blood. She rounded her eyes in shock and fright.

Was he hurting himself in the bathroom?

At this moment, the housekeeper knocked on the door of this bedroom. “Lord Stephen, your clothing is here.”

“Come in,” Stephen said, and the door was pushed open.

The housekeeper walked inside, holding a paper bag. When he saw Dinah slumping on the floor against the bed, he was shocked. “Lord Stephen is Mrs. Cecil…”

There was blood on her neck and hand.

Stephen interrupted coldly. “She isn’t Mrs. Cecil.” After that, he reached out his hand to take the paper bag. The housekeeper then found out Stephen, instead of Dinah, was injured.

“Lord Stephen, let me help you deal with the wound,” the housekeeper said with caution.

Stephen gave Dinah a cold glance, then walked away.

Seeing them walking into the lab, an idea dawned on Dinah.

Why does the housekeeper’s back look so similar to Clown’s?

She got back to her feet at once and called Ethan. “Ethan, I just found the medicine has a great effect in increasing sexual desire and pleasure, but I don’t know its side effects yet.”

The little boy didn’t answer it but stared at Kylie in silence. It seemed he was thinking about something.

This kid looked very cute, but he seemed much more mature than his age.

Seeing him remaining silent all the time, Elizabeth interrupted. “Are you dissatisfied?”

The little boy opened his mouth again with a calm face. “Not bad.”

“Ha-ha, what’s your name?” Kylie couldn’t help but reach out to her hand to rub his hair.

When her hand was about to touch his hair, the little boy turned his head aside all of a sudden.

He realized it wasn’t polite and apologized to Kylie after giving Bill a glance. “I’m sorry.”

Bill called a production assistant over and said, “Take Ben to do his hair and put on make-up.”

The little boy followed the production assistant behind walking away but turned to look at Kylie after walking a short distance ahead. He didn’t turn back, leaving until the production assistant pulled his little hand.

After Elizabeth was gone as well, Bill said to Kylie, “Ben is from a single-parent family. He’s a little introverted. Please don’t mind.”

Kylie shook her hand. “Of course not.”

“Ben has a good appearance, but he doesn’t have any experience of shooting. How did you find him?” Kylie asked.

Bill smiled. “He’s the son of one of my friends.”

“Thanks.” Ben walked away with his assistant.

“He’s so cute.” Fannie also laughed.

“Yeah.” Kylie looked at Ben’s back and rubbed her own belly. She hoped her babies could be as cute as Ben.

Matthew’s work didn’t go well because he met a great opponent called Romeo, who was a businessman from Italy.

“Ethan, I already offered a high price, but Romeo was willing to pay double!” Matthew sat in a chair with his legs crossed.

Ethan moved his eyes away from the document. “I’ll arrange for someone else to acquire the land.”

“You’ve been working hard these days. Why don’t you have a vacation? How about Thailand?” He leaned against the back of the executive chair.

Hearing that, Matthew’s smile froze on his face and abruptly stood up. “Do you want to chase me away?” He rounded his eyes in shock.

“I’m one of the shareholders of Century Group as well. You can’t take over the whole company. Impossible!” He pressed his hands against the executive desk.

Ethan laid his hands on the desk with his fingers entwined. “You don’t dare go to Thailand?”

“Of course, I dare!” Matthew sounded determined but was in a panic. He looked around for a while, then asked Ethan, “Why do you want me to go to Thailand?”

“I just said you need a vacation.” Ethan’s voice was calm and cold.

“I don’t!” Matthew got angry.

He couldn’t leave Seattle, especially now.

Ethan stared at his nervous face. “Then what do you need now? A magical pill?”

Once Matthew heard the two words, a touch of excitement flashed by his saggy eyes.

He approached Ethan. “You know it as well? Isn’t it a good thing?”

He looked at Ethan from head to toe. “It can help you stay strong and forget everything you don’t want to remember.”

Ethan stood up from his chair, looking down at Matthew. “Say that again.”

Matthew was scared and stepped backward. With a loud sound, the chair was knocked over by him on the ground.

When Matthew lifted the chair up, he fixed his eyes on Ethan’s body, in case Ethan dashed over and punched him.

It was a taboo subject in the Parker family, and everyone was forbidden to bring it up.

Sweat soon poured down Matthew’s face because he was in great fear and hadn’t eaten a magical pill for a few days.

“Ethan, please don’t blame me…” Matthew hid behind the chair. “If you hadn’t forced me to go to Thailand, I wouldn’t have brought it up…”

Ethan didn’t move a step at all. Instead, he stood upright with his hands in the pockets.

“Do you still have any money?” Ethan asked.

“I have my shares! I can give you my shares!” Matthew looked quite pitiful. “Please, give it to me. I haven’t eaten it for so long…” Saliva flew down from the corner of his lips.

Matthew was like having a bad attack of drug addiction now.

Chapter 458: He Couldn’t Tell Him

Matthew started to have a fierce mental struggle.

He didn’t want Dinah to be hurt.

They were all aware that Dinah admired Stephen, but Stephen had never liked her during the past years.

“Don’t try to fool me!” Kylie played with her phone. “I’m going to play a role in a spy woman in the next movie project, and I know what you’re doing now!”

Saying it, she secretly sent old Mrs. Parker a message, telling her that they were on the way to the Parker family’s house now. Ethan might have found out something, and old Mrs. Parker must be careful.

Once the message was sent, she deleted it, then looked to Ethan. “Are you sure we’re not going home?”

“Mother told me to dine there with them.” There was a faint smile on Ethan’s lips. “Taylor also wants to talk about the fundraising with you.”

Kylie clenched her teeth. “You scared me!”

She punched and kicked the man beside her.

Ethan still smiled but didn’t look happy at all.

Kylie understood he just pretended to be calm in front of her face because he didn’t want her to be worried. He made up his mind to handle it on his own.

When the car moved to the gate of the Parker family’s house, the traffic barrier scanned the license plate of Ethan’s car, then let it in.

Kylie somehow felt the Parker family was under heightened security now.

Taylor heard the sound and waited for them at the door of the living hall. Seeing Kylie getting off the car, she strode over to welcome her. “How do you feel these days?”

“Much better,” Kylie said. “I sometimes vomit. Taylor, did you have any reactions during your pregnancy?”

Taylor thought for a while. “I couldn’t remember much because it happened a long time ago, but I had high pressure when I was carrying Aiden. You must pay attention to that.”

“Right, my doctor also told me not to eat too salty food,” Kylie said.

Taylor glanced at Ethan, who walked ahead of them, then said to Kylie in a low voice, “I feel that Matthew isn’t normal these days.”

Hearing that, Kylie got nervous. Matthew looked very different now, and it wasn’t difficult for others to notice his changes.

“Probably he’s been too busy recently. I also noticed that he’d lost much weight,” Kylie said.

“Not that.” Taylor shook her head. “He’s unusually happy these days!”

“It’s different!” Taylor was serious. “If old Mr. Parker gives money to Ethan, Ethan can make much more money with it, but Matthew will spend every cent to women!”

“If you don’t want to be involved, I can talk to old Mrs. Parker. She can help Ethan to get some money from old Mr. Parker’s pocket. Don’t let Matthew ruin the family’s wealth.”

Kylie snorted with laughter. “Thanks!”

“Mom, whom you’re talking to?” A girl’s voice suddenly sounded upstairs.

Kylie and Taylor raised their heads with one accord, then saw a familiar figure. Nicole was back!

“Nicole, Kylie’s here. Come downstairs!” Taylor said.

She held Kylie’s hand, but couldn’t help squeezing it.

Taylor was worried that Nicole might disrespect Kylie because of what had happened to Aiden and Matthew.

She now relied on Kylie to live a good life. No matter for money or for the sake of her good relationship with Kylie, Taylor would side with Kylie without a doubt.

However, to her and Kylie’s surprise, Nicole’s eyes lit up the second, she saw Kylie and ran downstairs.

When Nicole dashed to the front of Kylie, Taylor subconsciously protected Kylie behind her back. “Mind your manners!”

“Mom, what are you talking about?” Nicole pulled Taylor aside, then beamed at Kylie.

“Kylie, can you sign your name on my coat?” she said and took off her coat.

Kylie was struck dumb for a long while. “What? Where?”

Nicole squeezed a pen into Kylie’s hand. “Here, on my coat, so that I can show off before my classmates after I go back to my school.”

Kylie got her mind back and signed her name on Nicole’s coat, along with a line of good wishes.

Nicole held the cost in her hands with a broad smile on her face.

Taylor was confused. “Nicole, A-Are you alright?”

“I’m doing well, mom.” Nicole smiled. “Our school takes Dangerous World as a great example of quality film, and it has been played many times in the auditorium. I went to watch it every time.”

“Your school?” Kylie didn’t understand it.

“Nicole, isn’t your major law?” Taylor asked.

Nicole snorted with disdain. “Law is so boring. I love acting, which is funny and attractive.”

Taylor was shocked.

“Which school are you studying?” Kylie asked.

“I’m majoring in Visual and Performing Arts,” Nicole said. “The same school you’ve studied.”

“You didn’t go abroad, but stayed in Hamorna all the time?” Taylor couldn’t believe it.

“Ha-ha, right!” Nicole looked proud.

“Kylie, not only has our school played the film you’re in, but it also presents your photo on the wall of the passage.”

“I feel so proud of you every time I walk by it.”

“I told my classmates that you’re my auntie, but none of them would believe it. They insisted that you’re not married yet.”

To Taylor’s astonishment, Nicole became a fan of Kylie now.

“So, you come back home to get Kylie’s signature?” Taylor asked.

“Yes, and they won’t doubt my words anymore!” Nicole said.

Kylie smiled at Nicole. She knew Nicole was a straightforward kind girl. Nicole used to dislike Kylie mostly because she had heard too many bad comments on Kylie from Aiden.

“Since you’re proud of me right now, you must study hard, and don’t embarrass me,” Kylie said.
