Chapter 461: Like Father, Like Son

“Of course, I will study hard!” Nicole looked very happy. “I already have collected all the films you’re in, and I’m going to watch them again and again.”

“Why?” Nicole pouted, then ran to Ethan’s side. “Uncle Ethan, is it a boy or a girl?”

Ethan also relaxed when he noticed Nicole changed her attitude towards Kylie.

Seeing his niece, who was just tall to his chest, Ethan made a joke, which was quite unusual. “Probably both.”

Hearing that, Nicole rounded her eyes in shock. “Wow, I hope the boy can be as handsome as his father, and the girl can be as beautiful as her mother!”

“What are you talking about? You all look so happy.” Old Mr. Parker walked out from the backyard at this moment, followed by old Mrs. Parker.

With Nicole’s presence, the atmosphere became much relaxed during the meal.

After dinner, Nicole helped Taylor clean the table, while Ethan went to play chess with old Mr. Parker.

Old Mrs. Parker felt quite nervous ever since she had received Kylie’s message. She told Kylie to have a walk with her in the garden once the dinner was over.

“Kylie, what does the message mean?” old Mrs. Parker asked.

“I think he probably has found out something.” Kylie bit her lip. “What if he argues against old Mr. Parker, whom will you help?”

Old Mrs. Parker sighed, “What can I do? One is my husband, and the other is my son. I can only try to keep a balance between them.”

If Ethan were going to behave against old Mr. Parker, old Mr. Parker would be at a disadvantage concerning their wealth, influence, and physical condition without a doubt.

However, if old Mrs. Parker sided with old Mr. Parker, it would break Ethan’s heart.

Old Mr. Parker moved a playing piece on the board. “Nicole’s home today, but Matthew is still absent.” He sounded displeased.

“Matthew left for Thailand,” Ethan said with a calm face.

Hearing the word of Thailand, old Mr. Parker frowned. “Why? Isn’t he in charge of the acquisition?”

“The more outstanding you were, the more worried father was. Father was afraid that you would harm the Parker family one day in the future.”

Ethan slowly raised his eyes to look at old Mr. Parker, who looked utterly nervous now.

Old Mr. Parker tried to stand up but collapsed on the floor.

He pointed at Ethan’s head. “I know you’re brilliant. Matthew is addicted to the medicine these days, but he refuses to get rid of it. You must have used that drug to force him to tell you what has happened that year.”

Old Mrs. Parker beamed at her beloved son. “Your father is an experienced chess player. It’s not embarrassing that you lost the game with him.”

“You’re right, mother,” Ethan said with great respect, then looked at Kylie. “Shall we go home now?”

“Sure.” Kylie waved her hand at old Mrs. Parker, then walked away with Ethan. “Someone wants to cooperate with us right after the fund is established.”

“Do you need to deal with it in person?” Ethan asked.

“I’m very busy at work, so I’m afraid I can’t fly there to be with you.” Ethan patted a pile of documents by his hand.

“Sure.” Kylie blew him a kiss. When she removed her hands, her pair of D-cup boobs showed right in front of the camera.
