Chapter 111

Selena POV:

I feel him thrust hard from behind when his grip on my hips increases, I’m so close to being pushed over my peak, and in only a few more fast thrusts he pushes me over, and my orgasm ripple through my body.

Turning my head to look at him he is looking up at the ceiling before he shut me out from his feelings. Rising my head I look intensely at him when he keeps his eyes locked on the ceiling.

“What is wrong?” I ask him when he keeps his gaze on the same spot.

“Did you hear me?” Emma shouts louder from the door.

“Yepp heard you but now is not the time!” I shout back when I see Kian get up from the bed and head over to the bathroom. Hearing him turn on the tap to the shower I decide to follow after him, whatever made him this way I have to get to the bottom with.

Pushing the bathroom door open I walk inside and see him in the shower where he is leaning with his hands on the shower wall. I walk over and open the shower door before going inside.

“What’s wrong and don’t tell me it’s nothing!” I say and stand behind him. He doesn’t say anything and looking at him I can see his mussels play under his skin, he is upset about something!

Trying to figure out what he would be upset about, I can’t believe he would be angry because Emma came and disturbed us!

“Are you angry at Emma?” I ask and keep my eyes on him

“No!” is all he says and then I don’t understand when it dawns on me.

“You don’t want to have kids?” I say in shock when I feel the bond sizzle and know I hit right. He is quiet and all the sound in the room is from the water.

We stay like that for a long moment when I start to get angry.

“You don’t think it’s a good idea to tell a person you don’t want to have kids before spending two days not doing anything else than laying in bed? And why didn’t your use any protection if you don’t want kids!” I say in a raised tone, feeling upset by this. He doesn’t say anything and my frustration is about to get the best of me, deciding it’s best to get out of there I turn around and am about to leave him when he grabs my arm and swirls me around to face him.

“I want kids, it’s just I lost you once and I can’t risk losing you again!” he says with pain written all over his face.

“I lost you too but why do you think you would lose me because of a child?” I say and see him look for a long time at me without saying anything. Then I connect the dots why he is this way.

“You know I’m not her, right!” I say and look at him, don’t know what I should feel about all this. I never met her, only know she was weak and couldn’t survive a pregnancy. But I’m not her and I can’t believe after all this time he still sees me as weak.

Taking a step back from him, I’m disappointed by what he thinks of me. He looks at me and I guess he feels what I’m thinking because he grabs me by my waist and pushes me back against the cold tiles.

“You are not her, and I don’t compare you to her! I know how strong you are, but I lost you once and I can’t stand the thought of something happening to you because I want a child. I’ll rather have you and no children! You are my everything and I will constantly be worried something will go wrong with you and the child if you get pregnant!” he says and I can feel how worried he is through to bond.

I know it had to be tuff for him to lose them and I can’t believe he manages to survive it! Taking my hand to his cheek I hold it there and look at him.

“I’m not going anywhere, and a pregnancy won’t kill me!” I say with certainty and hold his eyes with mine. Seeing him take a deep breath before he lifts me and place my legs around his waist before pushing me back against the wall again.

“Then you can have as many as you want! We can start to try for one right now” he says and captures my lips with his.

Chapter 112

Selena POV:

Getting out of the shower I take a towel and wrap it around my body when Kian walks up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. He kisses my neck before we start to walk out of the bathroom with him behind me.

Opening the door to his bedroom I halt in my track when I find Emma sitting on the chair by the bed with her arms crossed over her chest and she has a serious expression on her face.

Really! In the shower as well! Haven’t you two had enough yet?” she says and doesn’t take her eyes away from mine. Shaking my head at her when I walk over to grab myself a shirt.

“If I get to hear another moan from you, I will move the next day!” Emma whines from the chair. Hearing Kian chuckle beside me in the closet where I have found a shirt and a pair of pants.

“Well, no one is forcing you to stay outside the door, I bet there are a lot of better things you could do!” I shout to her while putting on my clothes and wrapping the towel around my hair and starting to dry it before taking it off.

Turning around I look at Kian when he is getting dressed and for every clothes, he is taking on I want to rip them to pieces and always have him naked by my side so I can feel his skin against mine. I guess he feels what I’m thinking because he turns around with a smirk on his lips when he closes the distance between us and wraps me up in his arms.

“I’m more than willing to stay in here and fulfill every one of your thoughts!” he says close to my ear and kisses my cheek.

“And I said time out! You two are free to go at it again once every problem is solved and the rogues are out of the way! You can’t hide in here forever or I will live in here too with Cannon!” Emma says behind us and I can hear she is serious about it this time.

Sighing I get up on my toes to reach Kian when he understands my intentions and leans down to capture my lips. I can’t get enough of this man and wrap my arms around him to deepen the kiss when I feel him smile to my lips.

“I guess it’s best if we get out to her and see what’s so urgent!” he says and turns me around in his arms before walking out with me to where Emma is standing with her hands on her hips and looks furious.

“Alright Emma, what’s the urgent problem!” I say and lean back against Kian.

“First of all, you have no idea how happy and relieved I am that everything went well! She says and takes a deep breath.

“I know!” I say to her and wait for what’s to come, when she looks like this I know. she is upset about something.

“With that out of the way, you kian have to go and talk to Cannon! He feels like he has betrayed you when he couldn’t tell you what was about to happen. Everything he did was what I told him to do! None of this would have happened if he didn’t do what he was told” she says and I have already heard everything from Kian about what happened when I was in that house.

I know this wouldn’t have been possible if Emma hadn’t done what she could and if there has been another way I know she would have made sure that happened instead. I told Kian all this and at the beginning, he was angry but soon understood why and he dropped his hard feelings.

“I will talk to him and I’m grateful for everything you did for us!” he says and pulls me closer to him when he trails his nose down my cheek.

“You better be!” she says and I can’t help but chuckle at her mood. Wouldn’t want her to be in any other way!

“Now, Jessie and Declan have been over and help Jacob and Zoey with the pack. The place is overrun with rogues who are running around constantly and I believe they are looking for you!” she says when Kian tense behind me and a growl is heard from him.

“I will send more warriors over to help!” he says and Emma gives a nod and I get this feeling she knows something more. Looking at her when her eyes meet mine she is quick to avert them, she is like an open book and she just gave herself away.

“Anything else?” I ask and keep my eyes on her

“Some of our men have been hurt when they have been out scouting and I have forbidden Cannon to go there right now!” she says and I’m sure she has her reasons to keep him here and won’t say anything about it.

“Where is he?” Kian asks when she turns to look at him again.

“He is down with your father in your office, they have put down all their time to try. and go through the papers,” she says when Kian starts to pull me with him and I know he wants me to come with him to his office.

“There was something more!” Emma says and we stop.

“What?” I ask when she doesn’t say anything at first.

“We need to make a visit to Michael!” she says and I have to take a long moment and try to remember who that is before my memory clears up.

“Who’s Michael?” Kian asks behind me

“That’s a witch from Saris sister’s village!” I say and wonder what we need to go there for.

“I can portal you over to him and you can just mind link me when you are done!” I tell her and it would be for the best. I should help Kian here and go over the papers that are left and go back home and check in with Jessie and the others. Going to her sister’s village and meet Michael is at the bottom of my priority list at the moment, even if have some questions I would like to ask him.

“I need you to come with me!” she says and I look at her when she has that expression on her face when I know she has seen something important and when it comes to this I never argue against her.

“Alright, I’m coming with you!” I say and see her raise her eyes to look at me.

Chapter 113

Selena POV:

Feeling Kian pull me back against him I know he doesn’t want me to go.

“I’m coming with you!” he says when Emma takes a step closer to where we are.

“I need to go alone with Selena, I can promise she will be safe and we only need to be gone a few hours!” Emma says and it has me wondering what is so important for us to go alone. Tilting my head and look at her she keeps her eyes on the floor.

“Kian it will be alright, nothing is going to happen if she says so!” I say and turn in his arms to look at him. He places his hand on my cheek and looks intensely at me!

“If anything goes wrong you open a portal right in front of me! I will come right away, you hear me!” he says and this time I wouldn’t hesitate to ask him for help.

“I will!” I say when Emma walks past me and out the door.

“I need to fetch something before we go and say goodbye to Cannon!” she says and starts to head down the hallway.

“Kian it will be alright and we are back before you know it!” I say when he wraps me up in his arms.

“Do you want me to send some men to your pack while you are away?” he says and lets me go when he places his arm around my waist and we start to walk down the hallway.

“Can you call my pack house or Declan when I’m away and see if they need any help? I can go right over there once we are done at Michael” I say when we have reached the stairs.

“I want you to come back here first, I’m coming with you to your pack!” he says and I see Emma coming out of a room with a bag in her hand when she starts to head over to Kian’s office.

“Alright I will!” I say to him when we have reached his office and walk inside.

His father and Cannon are occupied with several maps and papers are laying scattered all over his office and there is no way they can have any order to this chaos!

Halting in my track I look at the mess and wish I didn’t have to see it in the first place, the time we took to get it down properly without mixing them with each other only to find this in front of me.

I guess Kian feel my concern it all was a waste when he takes a step forward.

“Tell me you have control over this chaos!” he says and both his father and Cannon snap their heads up and look at us. His father drops the paper he was holding in his hand to the table and starts to walk over to where we stand, he comes in front of me and pulls me in his arms.

“I’m so happy you are back with us and you two have finally completed the bond my Queen!” he says and hugs me tighter, wrapping my arms around him and hugging him back.

“I’m happy to be back!” I say when he releases me and looks between us both.

“We have an order to all these papers even if there are a lot more to go through!” he says and turns to look around in the room.

“Alright, I guess we will leave you to continue with it!” I hear Emma say when she gives Cannon a kiss before she starts to walk over to where I stand when Kian pulls me back to him.

“Now you know what to do and if there is any hesitation something isn’t right when you get there you come right back!” he says and wraps me up in his arms. Can’t believe how hard it is to let go of him

even if it’s only for a couple of hours. we will!” I say when his lips come down on mine. Holding my arms around his waist I don’t want to let go when he pecks my lips and lets go of his hold around me.

“Now come on this is not a goodbye forever, only a few hours and you will be back! Now let your man go so we can get going!” Emma says with impatience in her voice.

Dropping my arms I walk around him and come to stand beside Emma when I open a portal behind us, she grabs my arm and starts to pull me with her inside the portal when I look at Kian before closing it after us.

Getting out on the other side of the portal we come to stand in the middle of the village, I don’t have the best memories of his house and how to get there since I was almost out the last time we were here.

“I don’t remember where to go, I was quite out the last time!” I say and start to look around the village. Seeing several sittings on a lawn and fixing with herbs I get a peaceful feeling of the place this time, completely different from the last time we were here and the chaos it where with the rogues attacking the village.

“Come we need to find Michael!” Emma says and starts to pull me with her.

“Does he know we are coming?” I ask her when we start to walk between some houses.

“He could know or I can guarantee he knows what we are here for once he lays his eyes on us!” Emma says and I know how it works with a witch like Michael.

Turning around a big tree I see his house right ahead of us, the door is closed and he is nowhere to be seen from where we are. Walking up to his porch Emma is about to knock on his door when it starts to open itself slowly.

Looking inside his hallway it’s dark and no lights in sight, I get an odd feeling and push Emma behind me.

I’m about to turn around and portal away from there when this energy pulls me inside, my legs start to move when I find myself inside his hallway. My gift starts to sizzle under my skin and reach out to another energy inside the room, it’s powerful and hot, urging me to go further inside the house.

I hear Emma talk to me from behind and tell me to come back but I can’t turn around and walk out of the house, the other energy is tugging me closer and I want it!

Chapter 114

Selena POV:

My feets carry me inside the house and pull me further down the hallway, I can’t stop my body. My gift is sizzling under my skin and pulling on the thread to the other energy in the room.

Coming inside a dark living room I feel it getting stronger and whatever it is my gift is yearning after it I got to have, my gift starts to draw energy from the other, and as fast it connects with my energy it starts to intervene and fill my veins with a strong warm feeling I can’t get enough off. I want more, need more!

It’s like a drug to my gift and I want it all!

“You have to stop Selena!” I hear a dark voice inside my head but I am too lost in the feeling and keep drawing out the energy and sucking it up in my body. I’m strong this way and untouchable, it’s the best feeling and I start to feel high on it!

My veins are filled with the other energy and my surroundings start to glow purple, I know it’s my gift that does this. A hand grabs my shoulder and it’s from the person the energy is coming from.

“You have to stop Selena!” the voice says again but there is no way I can stop when it feels so good.

I’m getting hotter by the minute and I pant out when it feels like my veins are going to boil any minute now.

‘You leave me with no choice!” the voice says when I feel the energy slowly getting drawn back from my body, but it doesn’t stop there!

The person is starting to take my energy from me, I feel it slowly getting sucked out of my body. A small piece at the time!

“Fight it, Selena! You can stop it!” I hear the voice but with every second p@ssing, my energy is slowly sucked away from my body. Trying to stop it but my body is getting weaker, falling to my hands and knees I pant out and try to hold on to the last piece of my strength when it suddenly stops.

Trying to understand what just happened when I hear some fast footsteps behind me and Emma comes to my side when she squats down and grabs my arm.

“How do you feel Selena?” she asks while I try to wrap my head around it.

“What happened?” I ask in shock and can’t understand anything from it.

“I happened!” the voice says from behind me when his hand comes to my shoulder and I feel my energy slip back into my body from his touch.

I gasp when it fills me up at a fast pace and it feels different, pure in some strange way.

Staying on the floor when Emma starts to pull me up on my feets, I have to hold on to her for a short moment when my head spins.

“Come let’s talk in the kitchen!” I hear the man say and turn around to see it’s Michael who is standing there, did I just take his energy?

“I think it’s best if we do!” Emma says and starts to pull me with her, none of this makes any sense to me. I know my gift could take energy from the herb, but I haven’t met anyone else that has some kind of gift I can pull at.

Walking behind Michael we come to his kitchen where he has herbs all over the place and I guess he where fixing them when we came here.

“Take a seat I will fix us some tea!” he says and start to walk over to the stove.

“I hope I didn’t hurt you in some way!” I say and feel bad I couldn’t stop even if he told me I had to.

He turns to look at me where I stand beside the table.

“You didn’t! I can control it, but you on the other hand would be the one in pain if I hadn’t stopped it!” he says and none of this makes any sense to me.

“I don’t understand!” I say to him when he turns back and starts to prepare the tea. take a seat Selena and I will explain it all for you!” he says again and Emma tugs on my arm to come and take a seat at the table. Walking around it I pull out a chair beside her and sit down, in front of me on the table are several herbs I recognize and some I have never seen before. Emma reaches for some herbs and looks at them when she places her bag on the table.

It takes a moment before Michael comes back and places some cups on the table, looking at the cup mine smells different from the one Emma and Michael have. There is no doubt I have gotten something completely different in mine.

“Why is my tea different than yours?” I have to ask him when he takes a seat in front of us. He only gives me a big smile and looks at me for a long moment.

“Because it’s good for you!” he says and turns his head to look at Emma, seeing. them exchange looks for a moment I know there is something more going on here. He takes his cup to his lips and sips on it, while both of them are silent. I’m about to ask them what it is when Emma speaks up instead.

“I have something I need to ask you!” she says when I take my cup from the table and start to sniff at it. It smells strong on something I can’t place, deciding to give it a try I take it to my lips and sip on it.

The first taste I can hardly describe and I’m about to spit it right out when the aftertaste is sweet and really good.

“That was weird!” I say and decide to give it another try when it tastes better this time, the aftertaste is really good and the more I taste it the better it gets.

“What is!” Michael asks and I lift my head from the cup and look at him.

“The taste! First, it was awful than the aftertaste was really good and the more I sip on it the better it gets!” I say when he glances over at Emma and it has me suspicious of what it’s all about.

“What is it?” I ask them when Michael only shrugs his shoulders.

“What did you want to ask me?” he says and turns to look at Emma. Seeing her place the cup down before she takes her bag and opens it.

“Selena was drugged with this herb when she was taken, they used it to have her bond broken. I don’t have enough knowledge of it and when she where in a bad shape and couldn’t heal she asked for this! I took the chance and gave it to her the way it is and she healed up fast but got high on it!” I hear Emma say when she takes a can out from her bag and I see the herb inside from the swamp when she hands it over to Michael.

He takes the can and looks at it for a long moment, I see him being in deep thought when he places it down in front of him and takes a long look at me in silence. I wait for him to speak up when he takes his cup and sips on the tea, I’m at the edge of my seat and want to hear his thoughts on it.

“This would explain most of it!” he says and keeps his eyes on me. explains what?
