Chapter 76

Selena POV:

I hear his footsteps behind me before I have managed to get out of the door when I’m suddenly being pulled backward with f0rce and the door is shut closed in front of me. Looking at the closed door I curse in my head.

“This discussion isn’t over!” he says and I swirl around to face him. Who is he to decide it?

“Who do you think you are to come here and decide when it’ s over and it’ s not!” I spit at him

“You gotta meet me halfway here Selena!” he barks at me and once again he tries to f0rce his will on me. He is nothing but an a*s who wants me to surrender to him.

“Meet you halfway! When did you deserve my respect after everything you have done? Not once have you apologized or acted like you regret what you have done to me! Do you expect me to just take what you have done to me like a good girl and forgive you for everything? I lost my f*cking family you a*shole!” I scream at him and now my anger is unstoppable. I know it’s too late when my ears start to ring and my vision gets coated in a purple fog.

Last time this happened I completely erased my surroundings.

I try to calm my body down but all that’s happening is it taking over my senses with each second pa*sing.

Fear creeps up my spine for what’s going to happen! I know once my energy bursts out it won’t leave the castle still standing and everyone inside might get K*lled. I know Jessie is here somewhere and everyone else. I don’t want to hurt or K*ll them because I can’t control my gift. Fear takes a hard grip on my senses and I feel my heart squeeze hard in my chest. I can’t let this happen! Q

I try to reach out to her and have her get out of here quickly but all my ways to communicate are gone! My surroundings are shut closed when I’m lost in the purple fog. I can’t hear or see anything when it has taken over.

I should be better than this and able to control it!

I feel tears stream down my cheeks when I try and fight it with everything I got. What’s the point in being gifted if I’m going to end up K*lling people I love? My blood is getting hotter with every breath I take, it gets closer and closer to devastation.

Blinking repeatedly and trying to hold onto the love I feel for my friends and pack when I feel his scent surrounding me, reaching out to me and trying to calm me down.

“Listen to my voice love!” I hear him say from a far distance, trying to reach for anything that can be my anchor and hold me down from bursting. His scent starts to fill up my lungs and for every breath I take it fills up more and small pieces of my energy draw back into my body. Lulling it back to calmness! It feels like I’m floating for a bit.

“That’s good! hold on to my voice and come back to me!” I hear him say closer this time. Giving me a glimmer of hope I won’t end up destroying them and K*lling everyone.

The thick fog starts to disperse and the contour of his face starts to show.

Lifting my hand I try to reach for him and touch him. Need to feel him there when his face disappears right in front of me. I want to scream out my pain for losing this battle and my friends, “come back to me! Fight it! 1 hear him say and feel him taking my hand in his and place to his face. He is there! Close to me!

Tingles play under my palm when I feel him touch my cheek and over my neck. I try to focus on his touch when his canines bite down into my shoulder. His energy starts to swirl around in my veins from

the bite and helps to calm my body down. Bit by bit my energy retracts and my vision become clearer by the second.

I feel him holding me tight in place with his canines deep in my shoulder and I’m grateful for his help! Everything calms down and I gasp from the feeling, my vision is clear and my body is calm. His scent lingers all around me and euphoria starts to spread through my senses when I feel him retract his canines and lap over the bite to heal it.

his eyes take me all in. We both are silent and just look into each other’s eyes. I’m grateful for him to be able and bring me back.

His hand comes up and wipes away the tears from my cheeks.

Averting my eyes after a moment I look around and see I’m laying in his lap and we are on his couch. His hand comes back and turn my head to look at him again. He holds my cheek in place while looking into my eyes. His touch breaks down my walls.

“I could have K*lled you all!” I say in a sob and feel devastated at the fact of losing everyone here because I can’t control it. Tears stream down my cheeks when he wipes them away.

“But you didn’t! You fought it and came back to me! ” he says and looks intensely at me for a moment while his hand caresses my cheek. He takes my whole face in before he holds my gaze with his and he gets a serious look on his face.

“I’m sorry for all the pain I have caused you! I’m sorry for forcing you out of my land and being too blind to see what a blessing you were to me. I’m sorry for hurting you in every way I have done! And you are right! I have been a jerk to you.” he says and looking at him he means what he says.

“But I’m not sorry for marking you and claiming you as my mate! That’s something I choose without Emma needing to f0rce me to do it! You are all I ever have wanted and more. If it’s going to take the rest of my life to prove my love for you and try to make it all up to you, I will! I’m not going to let you go without a fight. You are my everything!” he says. I can’t find any words to form and talk to him when I feel his hand wipe away tears that keep running down my cheeks.

His forehead comes down to mine while he holds my cheek with his hand and caresses it with his thumb.

“I’m sorry love! But give me a chance to try and make it up to you. I will do everything I can!” he says and I feel how more tears spill out. I never thought I was going to hear him apologize to me or beg me to give him a chance.

“I only ask one thing of you in return!” he says and kisses me on my forehead before traveling down with open-mouth kisses down my cheek before he pulls back and looks into my eyes instead.

“Let me in your life! You are not alone and whatever happens, I want to be there and support you” he says before he slowly moves closer to my face. His lips come down and capture mine in a warm kiss, sending tingles all the way down to my toes. If this is going to work I have to meet him halfway and include him in my life. Give him a chance to prove he means what he says. I know I’m stubborn and want to do everything my way! I have to work on that part and let him in my life.

I have no words to say to him, right now my actions have to be enough.

Placing my hand behind his head I pull him closer and push my tongue inside his mouth, deepening the kiss. Every nerve in my body wants to feel him close to me! I guess he feels the same because he lets go of my lips and lay me down on the couch before he climbs between my legs and his lips come down hard on mine in a hungry kiss. Devouring me like there is no tomorrow!

I have just the same need to feel him close and kiss him back with all my longing.

I lose all sense of time and space when he kisses me this way. I only want to feel him close to me! And I need more of him.

 

Chapter 77

Selena POV:

His hand starts to travel under my shirt and over the side of my body when I remember why I came here in the first place. It’s important to have it fixed before Emma finds out we are gone again. This has to wait until I have solved the problem I came here for.

“Wait!” I say and break the kiss when he looks at me with questions in his eyes.

“I came here because we have a problem and need to talk with Cannon,” I say when he gives me a peck on my lips before he gets off me and pulls me up so I ‘m sitting.

“He’s down in the prison and interrogate the rogues you captured!” he says and I look at him puzzled. What are they doing here? I see his eyes glance over for a moment.

“he’s on his way now!” he says and captures my lips in a warm kiss before he lets go and gets up from the couch. Already miss his touch and want him back, but it will have to wait! Looking at his back when he walks over to his desk I need to ask him.

“Why do you have the rogues here?” I say and get up from the couch and walk closer to where he is when there is a knock on his door and his father walks inside after a short moment.

“I can tell you later!” Kian says and I turn my head to look at his father. He walks inside with a big smile on his lips.

“Hi, Selena. Good to see you back and well. My son here was about to lose it there for a moment!” he says and walks over and gives me a hug and places a kiss on my forehead. I stand there in shock! When did we become this close?

“Okay!” is all I manage to say when I hear the door being shoved open with f0rce so it hits the wall with a bang and I guess it will leave a print on the wall. Looking at the doorway I see a very bloody Cannon standing there with only a pair of shorts on him. He is breathing heavily and he looks a bit crazy at the moment.

“Where is she?” he booms out and I see how worried he is.

“Calm down Cannon!” Kian says when I notice his fists. They are trembling and he is breathing heavily.

“She is back home!” I say and the words hardly manage to get out of my mouth before he shifts and turns around and starts running out in the hallway.

I sigh but feel him and open a portal right in front of him and back inside the office again. He comes running out at a high speed and run right into the wall behind Kian’s desk and bounce back a bit and falls on his b*tt.

“Shift!” Kian orders out and with some resistance, he shifts in front of us. He stands n@ked when Kian growls at him and he covers his manhood with his hands. It is a bit too late, I have already seen him n@ked and don’t get what’s Kian’s problem with him being n@ked.

“He has his mate Kian! You don’t have to overreact here!” his father says when a man comes inside the room with a pair of shorts to Cannon he is quick to put on.

“Tell me quickly what it is! I have to get to her right now!” Cannon barks out and I understand what he feels.

“Cannon she is fine and you can’t run over to her with all that blood on you. Once you are ready I will portal you over to her!” I say when I see him look down on his body before he starts to walk out of the office with determined steps.

“Stop Cannon!” Kian says and he stops and turns around to face him

“What is it!” he says with anger in his voice when Kian points to me.

“She is here for you and it’s important! I suggest you try and calm down or I’m going to order you” Kian says when Cannon turns his head and look at me.

“We have a problem!” I say and sigh. A part of me wants to end that rogues life with my own hands for all the pain he has caused them. He is the one I have been hating for years since she told me her story of how she got the scar.

“What is it?” he says impatiently and I sigh.

“Can we close the door I don’t want anyone to hear and this part I’m not proud of!” I say when his father walks over and closes the door. Looking over at kian he walks in front of his office desk and leans against it while looking at me. Averting my eyes I turn around and think about how to explain all of this to them!

Taking a step over to his table I take out a chair and sit down, I guess this will take some time to explain. Turning my head their way before I start to explain.

“When I found Emma and her daughter all those years back she told us what she had to endure while she was captured and sold through the years. She and her daughter’s nightmares and screams finally got the best of us! Me, Jessie, Zoey, and Jacob

started to hunt the rogues down who had hurt them that way. We tortured and K*lled everyone we could find. There was no stopping in us and when she said we got obsessed with finding everyone and torturing them, I think she is right. We couldn’t stop until we had found every one of them.” I say and look down at my lap before continuing. This is a dark time for me.

“We even started to think like the rogues when it came to the torture and I’m not proud of it but we enjoyed getting back at them for what they had done! All of us want to get back at them for what they have done and we all would lay down our lives for Ella’s safety. She is something special! she is just a child with all these painful memories” I say and look out the window.

“I should have known we didn’t manage to get all of them!” I say and feel ashamed of myself for taking her lie that fast.

“You didn’t!” I hear Cannon burst out and I guess she has told him the same. That every one of them is dead. Looking over at him he has a glimmer of hope in his eyes and I know he will give them what they deserve.

“No!” I say when he starts to breathe heavily.

“Where are they!” he booms out when Kian’s father walks over and places his hand on his shoulder to have him calm down.

“We run into problems when we were at Sari’s sister ‘s village and you have to hear me out completely before you react!” I tell him and he gives me a nod. “When Ella where four years old Emma where badly beaten up by this man in front of Ella’s eyes. He hit her with his claws out over Emma’s face and let her bleed to death on the floor. He let her lay there in the darkness with her small daughter beside her. That night Ellas somehow manages to get her gift to manifest, but it was way too early, and I guess her will to save her mother made it to manifest. She has healing powers and I know one day she will be one of the best out there! O

But because she was only four and had no idea how she would do it she only managed to transfer some of Emma’s injury to herself and that’s why she has the same scar as Emma!” I only get to finish this when the worse roar I have ever heard reaches my ears.

Looking at Cannon his rage is all over the place! I know he hasn’t seen her daughter yet but I know now when he sees her he will understand.

Ella saved her mother but bear the scar from their time as prisoners. Looking at him he has a hard time containing himself. By the way he reacts now I know she will be safe with him. O

“Where is he? ” he roars out and looks at me

“I have him! But Emma doesn’t know and she can never know about this. She has forbidden us to K*ll anyone who is left of them. She can’t stand us getting s*cked into the darkness again! That’s why I ‘m here! I need you to take care of it for us!” I say and look at him. He understands perfectly what I mean.

“Just get me there! And I can promise he will beg me to end his life! ” he says with eagerness in his voice.

“There is something else you need to know!” I say and look over at Kian. The bag is laying on the floor beside his feet.

He has to get the whole picture before going after him!

 

Chapter 78

Selena POV:

No one says a word and waits for me to continue. “When I woke up in the village, Jessie and Zoey had gone after the rogues who fled from the village when we came. I went after them and found them right in the forest with some houses that appears to belong to the rogues. There where a fight and I manages to rescue several who were kidnapped when more rogues came with kidnapped women. At that time I had used up too much of my energy and it came down to giving my people a chance to escape or surrender!” I didn’t get to explain more when I hear an angry growl and snap my head to look at Kian.

“Next time just send for us instead! Don’t go after them alone” he says and I see him struggle to calm down. Giving him a nod before continuing.

“that’s the way the Alpha found us! The bald man who held the women is the one who hurt Emma and he is the one in charge of the men who came there. You know the rest of what happened with the rogues and the Alpha. I have everyone captive in my pack!” I say and sit back in my seat and look at them all.

“What more?” Kian says and he already has guessed there is more to the story.

“When I had teleported everyone except me and Jessie she was searching in the houses if there was something important and what we came to find was a whole room with notes and maps all over the walls and table in a large room!11

“What was on them?” his father says and I look at him.

“Notes of kidnapped people, where they have taken pack members from, maps over every area, where the kingdom is best to hit. Details of how they are going to hit the kingdom to be able to win! everything you can think of where there!” I say and see them look at each other.

“We have to go there and hope some of the things are still there! We need those papers” his father says with eagerness in his voice.

“The papers aren’t there!” I say and they all snap their heads to look at me.

“We were hurrying to get everything down when another group of rogues came to the place. I had got a warning from Emma to leave all the papers and get out of there. I didn’t want to leave them when I felt this energy reaching out to mine and I didn’t like what I felt. A man came up to the room we were inside of. Everything went so fast when Jessie took him out and I opened a portal to get us out of there. I had to snatch all the papers I could off the wall when we dragged the man with us and had to flee through the portal!” I say and drag a hand through my hair before pointing to the bag on the floor. I see them all look down at it before looking back at me.

“I almost managed to get them all with us, just a few were left!” I say when his father walks over to where I am fast and drag me up on my feet and wraps me up in his arms.

“I’m not okay with you putting yourself at such a risk but you are one hell of a woman!” he says when I hear Kian walk over to us.

“Now let my woman go!” he says and his father lets me go and Kian grabs my arm and pulls me hard against his chest.

“I won’t say anything about it but just don’t do it again!” he says and sniffing on my shoulder before he kisses my cheek.

“Come here and look at this!” I hear his father say when Kian lets me go and places his arm around my waist. Walking over to the other side of the table where his father has started to take out the first paper.

“Let me help you get them out in the order they were placed in the room!” I say and take the bag from him. They all start to clear the table of the papers laying there when I start to take them out and place them in separate piles on the table.

“These were all on the walls, each pile on a separate wall, and these in the middle were all on the table. This last pile is from the wall where I didn’t manage to get everything down from” I say and take a step to the side.

I see them all start to go through the piles on the table and their expression says it all when they see what I have already seen.

“That’s why I wanted you to know it all before you head over to the rogues! They might have useful information even if I don’t think you will be able and get anything out of the bald man! He is nothing but evil” I say and look at Cannon. He turns his head and looks at me with a smirk on his lips. “Trust me I have been able to break the worse kinds of men before! Just get me there!” he says and starts to walk over to the door.

“I’m going to put some clothes in a bag then I’m ready,” he says before walking out of the room. Looking at the closed door when I feel Kian behind me. He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me tight against him.

“Stay! I can send several of my warriors over to help protect your borders with Cannon. I want to have some time alone with you.” he says and I guess he understands what I’m thinking about.

“We have a lot of papers to go through and it would be good to have you here and help us go over them! Let Kian send some men with Cannon ” I hear his father say and turn to look at him when the

door is shoved open again and Cannon comes bursting inside with a bag in his hand and still as bloody. Raising an eyebrow at him.

“Don’t see the point in washing it off! I will only get more on me in a bit!” he says and crosses his arms over his chest like that’s the end of the discussion. “I have to get home and take a shower and get dressed. Haven’t eaten in a long time!” I say and try to get out of his hold on me.

“I have both a shower and a bathtub here. Your bag with clothes is still here and I have a kitchen with food. Just tell me what you want! Next excuse?” I hear him say next to my ear and hold me hard. I have run out of reasons to not stay here and it would probably be for the best. If Emma sees me she will know something is up right away.

“I will send some men with Cannon and we can be over there in an instant if anything happens!” he continues to try and persuade me when I haven’t answered him.

“Alright! But we can’t send more than what Cannon wants to have with him to the rogues or Emma will know something is up!” I say and look at Cannon. I see his eyes glance over quickly.

“They are on their way over!” he says and in only a short moment two men come walking inside and stand beside him. I can understand why he wants to bring them! They have the same appearance as him. Bloody and the same expression on their faces.

Shaking my head at them all.

“Alright! Let me know how it goes and if there are any problems!” I say and open a portal at the side. No one of them hesitates to go through and I close it once they are through. Mind linking Jacob they are right outside the prison and what they are there for before ending the link.

“I’m glad you decided to stay!” he says and turns me around in his arms.

“We need to get the rest in here to help with all this and I will go and get some food for us!” I hear his father say before walking out of the room and closing the door after him. Leaving us alone in there!

Kian hooks a finger under my jaw and tilts my head up to look at him.

“How about we take a hot bath together!” he says and captures my lips with his and my core instantly start to throb at the thought of his n@ked body close to mine in the water.Chapter 79

Selena POV:

He lets go of my lips and starts to sniff in the air before he looks at me with pitch-black eyes and I know his wolf is present. My cheeks start to heat up when I know I’ve been caught. He holds my jaw in a firm grip before his face comes to my side.

“Whatever naughty thought you are thinking I volunteer to make them come through!” he says and a low growl is heard from his chest making me weak in my knees and my core throb harder. O

“Watch it or I’m picking you up and throwing you on my shoulder before taking you upstairs right now!” he says when there is a knock on the door and Kian’s eyes glance over.

“My father’s Beta and Gamma are here! Are you going to behave!” he says and he shouldn’t have said so. The challenge is accepted!

Now I have to mess with him. His thumb traces my bottom lip while he is following it with his eyes. Opening my mouth I take his thumb inside and start to s*ck it before I let go with a pop while keeping my eyes on his face. Placing his hand on my bre*st before I let his hand go.

I hear him inhale big before his eyes slowly raise and look right into mine. I see in them how turned on he is right now before I look down on the big tent in his pants.

Raising an eyebrow at him when I look up at him. He is about to say something when the door is opened and several feet are walking inside the room.

“And I will get back at you for this” he says behind my ear when I feel his hard one poke in my back and I can’t help but chuckle with the others in the room.

Seeing his father amongst them and who I guess is his old Beta and Gamma. One of them takes a step closer and I guess it’s to greet me.

“No, you don’t come closer. It’s fine for you to stay away, I can introduce you all to her over there!” he says and they start to laugh at him.

“Possessive much!” I hear one of them say and they all laugh for a short moment.

“Yeah yeah! Just stay in your place and we won’t have any problem!” Kian says and starts to pull me with him over to the table when he takes a seat and pulls me down in his lap.

“You do know we all have our mates and only want to greet our new Queen and luna!” one of them says to him.

“You can do that from over there! That’s my father’ s old beta and the Gamma!” Kian says and points to them booth. I give them a nod and a smile before trying to reach my hand over to shake it when Kian takes my arms and pulls them back to my lap.

“Not happening!” he only says and I roll my eyes at him.

“Maybe you two should hurry up and complete the mating before our king loses it!” his father says and wiggle his eyebrows at us. My cheeks instantly heat up at the uncomfortable subject. I have to avert my eyes when I hear them chuckle. This is not a subject I want to talk with his father about!

The door is opened and saves the situation. Some food is being bought in and the smell makes my stomach rumble loudly.

“Take a plate over here, right away!” Kian ordered out and a maid walks over with it and place it in front of us. He pushes it closer to me and gives me the fork.

“Eat!” he says and points to the plate. He doesn’t have to tell me twice. I wolf down the food fast when I hear him chuckle beside me.

“Want some more?” he says when I grab the gla*s and empty it quickly before placing it down on the table again.

“No, I’m good!” I say and raise my eyes to look at the others, everyone sits around the table with an amused look on their faces.

“Long since you ate?” his father asks

“It feels like ages!” I say before trying to get up and take my plate away, but he holds a firm grip on my waist.

“Stay!” he says when the door is opened and a maid comes back inside and takes my plate before she places a cup of coffee in front of me.

I’m not used to being served his way.

“Thank you!” I say to her before she takes my gla*s and plate away.

“Anything else you need my Queen?” she says and I almost swallow my saliva wrong from hearing her words.

Shaking my head, no at her while taking my cup from the table and she walks out of the room.

“I’m not going to get used to being called Queen! It’ s not who I am!” I say and take a sip of my coffee when I feel Kian’s nose on my neck.

“That’s exactly what you are and I might as well start calling you by the title. My Queen!” he says with a seductive tone in his voice and I turn my head to look at him. Hi sits back in the seat with a smirk on his

lips. E*

Shaking my head at him I hear his father chuckle. “Well, my Queen we have a lot to go over here!” his father says and now I know they will all be calling me this.

“Can you stop and say my name instead!” I try to plead with them but no one says a thing and I stop discussing this with them for the rest of the time.

We sit in his office for I guess a couple of hours and try to go over as much material as we manage when I start to yawn.

“Why don’t you head up and take a hot bath before dinner!” Kian says and walks over to where I sit.

Looking at the watch it’s seven pm and this has been one long day.

“Alright!” I say and get up on my feet when he pulls me close and pecks my lips.

“You find everything you need in my room I’ll be up in a bit,” he says and lets me go. I walk by him and head over to the door. Leaving them in here to keep working.

Coming out in the hallway I know where his chamber is and take the stairs to the second floor. Pushing his door open and walk inside before closing it after me.

His scent hits my nose and it is strong in here! Take a large inhale and close my eyes while I enjoy his smell.

Opening my eyes and looking around the room my eyes fall on my bag that’s standing behind his bed. Walking over I take it from the floor and place it on the bed before opening it. I see all my clothes are still in the same place I take out a tight long dress with some underwear before closing it and placing it back on the floor.

Taking off the clothes I have on me and placing them beside my bag I head over to the bathroom and push the door open.

A large bathtub is standing inside the room and it wins over a shower today!

Walking over to it I start to pour water inside of it and adjust the temperature before looking around in the cabinets for something to pour into it.

Finding a bottle I walk over and pour some in the bathtub, it smells good and I see bubbles on the water. I will enjoy my time in here.

When it’s enough water I take a bottle of shampoo and get over to the tube.

Slowly sinking my body into the hot water I love the feeling when my body is completely covered. Starting to wash my hair and body before I rinse my hair and sit back in the tube to relax.

His scent swirls around in the bathroom and starts to affect me. I have to sit further up in the bathtub when my n*pples get above the water and instantly get hard when the cold air hits the skin.

My core starts to throb and I want nothing more than to feel his hands on my body.

Trying to lean back when my core starts to throb harder at the thought of his heated lips on my skin and his fingers down my w*t f0lds.

I have to bite myself on the lip to prevent myself from M0@ning out when his scent fills up in my lungs and he isn’t even here inside the room.

Tracing my hand down my bre*st I feel my hard n*pple under my palm and I got this urge for him. Tracing my other hand down my body to my cl*t I’ m so close to begging him to come up here right now!

Chapter 80

Kian POV:

Watching my little mate leaving my office I want to go after her! When she closes the door after her I have to focus and get back to all the papers they found. Give her some time to herself and a nice bath!

“That’s a special mate you got!” My father’s beta says. Raising my eyes to look at him.

“Yes, she is!” I say and sit back in my seat, prepared for some questions.

“I would hurry up with that mating if I were you! We need you together and strong for the rogue threat” he says and I know it too. But I won’t f0rce her to accept me and take me as her mate. I will wait till she can forgive me and want it.

“When she is ready!” I say and end that discussion.

“Look at this!” My father says and I get up on my feet and walk around the table to where he sits with a map in front of him and several papers around it. Looking down at the paper I see a map of the kingdom and all the way over to her pack grounds. The cave is marked on the map and what lay behind peak my interest.

“Here!” My father hands me a paper and when I start to read it, I understand what she has come across.

“They have a territory on the other side of the cave with kidnapped pack members and rogues. A training camp to get them prepaid for a battle! How many are there?” I ask and look around at the table. Tons of papers and files lay on the table in piles.

“With the number of papers here, it will take a long time to get a number!” He says when I hand him the paper back to him.

“Where is the closest pack on the other side of the cave?” My father’s Gamma asks and I get over to my desk and pull a drawer open. Picking up my book with the records of every pack I take it and get over to the map.

Looking at it and in my book, I can easily see there are miles of no man’s land before there is any pack close, leaving them with every opportunity to operate and start an army without any interferences and no one to notice it. If it wasn’t for

Selena’s hidden pack and they have noticed the cave and all the activity we wouldn’t have known about it!

“Here!” I point to the map and everyone is silent for a long moment. We all see the problem!

“We have to get someone over there and start to scout the area!” My father says and I have the same thought as him. If we could get some of Selena’s potion to mask our scent we would have a better chance to get close to their camp!

“We have to know the number of rogues there could be on the other side of the cave before we get over there. Selena’s packs have a potion to mask their scent and it would be good if we could get some of it before trying to go there! Going through the cave at this moment and the possibility to run right into their camp is out of the question. We will have to go around all the way over here!” I point at the map and the way we could enter the woods.

“We need to contact the closest packs around the area and see if they have noticed the rogues!” My father’s Gamma says and he is right. We have to get a full picture of this situation before deciding what is the best way.

“Once we know it all maybe Selena could help us and portal us right over there?” My father says and I know she wouldn’t hesitate to help us and portal there. I just know there is no way she wouldn’t be following with us and I don’t want her anywhere near any danger! If I could lock her inside this castle until the threat is gone I would.

“I know she wouldn’t hesitate to help, but I don’t want her anywhere near any danger!” I tell them and take my book over to my desk and place it down in the drawer again.

I hear my father chuckle and lift my head and look at him, he sits there with a smile on his lips. Raising an eyebrow at him in response

“You are being overprotective son! Your mate is capable of taking care of herself and probably would have to protect you instead from a threat! Her gifts are something I have never seen before and the way she took every rogue out on the field she is more than a dozen fighters. Have a little faith in her!” He says and I drag a hand through my hair.

“I know she is and I know what she is capable of but I can’t stand it if anything happens to her!” I say and look at him. The room is silent for a moment. I know he is right and I am overprotective.

“I’ll go and talk to her!” I say and give up. Starting to head for the door before I stop and look at him.

“Try and get in contact with the packs and I will come back in a while! I have a surprise for Selena first” I tell him before opening the door.

“We will get right on it!” I hear my father say behind my back when I walk out of the room. Heading down the hallway and up the stairs I come in front of the doors to my chambers when her intoxic scent reaches my nose.

Slowly turning the door handle and opening the door I take a large inhale and her arousal reaches my nose. My d*ck instantly jerks in my pants from her delicious smell.

Closing the door soundlessly I take off my shoes and socks before starting to head over to the bathroom as silently as I can.
