Ch. 96..100: I Will Never Be Yours Chapter 96-100
Chapter 96
“What’s wrong?” I ask him when I meet him in the hallway. He is only grunting in response when I stop to stand in front of him.
“I can see that she clearly told you some bad news!” I say to him when he doesn’t speak up.
“You will know when I can tell you! Can we get on the road!” he barks and pushes by me and heads for the door.
“I’m getting the cars ready!” he says before pushing the door open and meeting the others who just arrived at the castle.
“We will be ready in a moment!” Declan says to him when I turn and quickly make my way up to my chambers. Putting on some clothes quickly before I head down the stairs to meet the others when my father comes out from my office with his beta behind him and stops in the hallway.
“I have contacted the vampire council and found out it’s probably one of the new vampires who won’t submit to their laws, they have some problems with them as we have with the rogues! They are prepared to come down here and help us if you find out more about where they are located!” my father says and I stop to take in what he said.
“at least two vampires were at her office! They K*lled her secretary and somehow, they have knowledge of how to mask their scent!” I tell them what we have learned so far.
“Do you know why he is doing this!” my father’s beta ask me.
“He wants to break the mate bond!” I tell him when I see Declan open the front door and motion to me they are ready.
“Selena’s pack members are trying to get some information on how they could have known how to use a rare herb. It appears very few know about it, and how to properly use it, we are heading over to the place Cannon knows it’s growing. We’re trying to find any trace!” I tell them before I turn around to walk over to Declan
“Where are you going?” my father asks and I look at him over my shoulder.
“It’s located between the two packs behind the cave, closer to the borders in the north!” I tell them and walk away.
“I will call the council again with the new information, be careful!” my father says when I have reached over to the door, I take one last glance at him before going out of the door.
Outside I find four cars packed with people inside and Cannon is holding the door open to the back seat of one of the cars. I see both of his favorite warriors inside the car, one is driving the car and I know with him there the drive will go fast.
I don’t mind and quickly get inside when Cannon comes to sit beside me in the back, turning my head I see Declan in one other car with both Jessie and Zoey and two others. Every seat is occupied in the other cars with our men and we come prepared to face trouble.
I get this feeling Cannon knows more than he is saying!
“Are you satisfied with the number of men we have with us?” I ask Cannon when he only curses under his breath and looks out the window, I get all the answers I need to know, he has more information about what we are going to face that he isn’t telling me.
“I have called the Alpha in the pack and they will go with us to scout the area! We can take a few hours of sleep once we get there before we start!” he says and I have no plans on staying anywhere, turning
my head and looking out the window when the car starts to roll away from the castle. I know it will take several hours until we have arrived and it will probably be dark once we reach the pack with the detour we have to take to get there!
“I’m not going to wait once we get there I’m heading out!” I tell him.
“NO!” he barks out and I snap my head to look at him, he has a strange look on his face and I wonder whatever can have made him that way!
Chapter 97
Kian POV:
The car ride has taken several hours, and I have used the time to look at every map of the area I can find and satellite footage.
All I have been able to see is a thick forest over the area and nothing has been revealed on the ground.
“We’re almost there!” Cannon says when we take off from the main road.
It has started to get dark outside and it won’t take long before the sun has completely gone down. Cannon gets a phone call and answers it!
Trying to listen to who it is I instantly figure out it’s Emma by the tone of his voice. He ends the phone call after a short moment and drags a hand down his face, at the sight of him, he didn’t get any good news from her.
“Can you tell me what that was about?” I ask him when he doesn’t say anything.
“I guess we have found out how he can know about the herb and make the potions,” he says when the car comes to stop outside the pack house and looking over at the entrance I see the Alpha and his men standing and waiting for us.
“How?” I ask him when he turns to look at me.
“Sari found out that one of her closest friends where missing a granddaughter since a couple of weeks back, she had been learned by her and no one has seen her since she went to visit a friend!” he says and that would connect the dots, ff she has found Elijah and helped him somehow.
“Why would she help Elijah? Is she kidnapped by him?” I say out loud what I am thinking.
“that’s what everyone is thinking!” Cannon says when the door beside me is being opened and Declan pops his head inside.
“Her grandma said she always let them know if she where going somewhere and now she hasn’t contacted them in weeks, she would never go that long without calling them!” he says and I turn my head to look at Declan before I start to head out of the car.
“Who wouldn’t what?” Declan asks when I’m outside the car, Jessie and Zoey stand beside him and wait for us.
“It looks like we might have found out how Elijah knows about the herb and how to make the potion, Cannon can fill you in on the details!” I tell them before turning to greet the Alpha who has come over to meet us.
“Hi, Albert!” I say and take his hand and give it a shake.
“Your G*mma called and ask us for help, the area you want to go to is a swamp for most of the part we have knowledge about. It’s a hard terrain to walk through!” he says and I have figured as much by the satellite footage.
“I suggest we go in the early morning to have a look!” he says when Cannon walks over to where we stand.
“It sounds good to me!” he says and the rest comes over to where I stand.
“I would rather get going right away!” Jessie comes up behind me and says, I’m with her on this!
“NO!” Cannon barks out again.
“We haven’t eaten for the whole day and we need some food and sleep before we go, who knows what we will find once we get there!” he says and now I got a hunch about what he knows, looking at him for a long moment but he doesn’t takes his eyes away from me.
“Alright!” I say after a long moment of silence.
“Why are you giving in to him? Am I the only one who wants to find her or what!” Jessie burst out when Declan grabs her to the side and turning to look at them I see they have a heated argument, I know Emma has seen something and told it to Cannon. I will have to trust her on this one!
“Well then, come inside!” Albert says and I follow after him over to the pack house.
We get served dinner and sit to talk for a long time in the dining room, they explain everything suspicious they have seen in the last months, they haven’t loosed any pack members but there has been a lot of activity close to their borders.
When we are done they show us to a couple of rooms, I’m not tired and there is no way I’m going to sleep when I know she is out there and he got his hands on her.
“I’m sharing a room with you!” I hear Cannon say when we have reached a room with two beds inside, I don’t mind and open the door and step inside when he follows behind.
“Making sure I’m not leaving in the middle of the night!” I say and turn to look at him where he stands in the room before he walks over and places his bag on the bed.
“Something in that way!” he says when he takes a seat on the bed.
Taking off my shoes I sit down on the bed and drag a hand through my hair.
“We are facing something tomorrow once we get there! Aren’t we? And that’s why you have us all waiting until it’s morning?” I say to him and watch his movement.
“Perhaps!” he says before he sighs and gets up from the bed and walks over to his bag, I see him take out a small bag and hold it in his hands when I start to feel a tremendous amount of pain in my stomach and over my chest. It knocks the air out of my lungs and I fall forward on the floor, hitting it with my face first!
I hear Cannon’s footsteps when he walks over to where I lay on the ground, I get turned around on my back while I try to breathe through the pain but black dots start to play in front of my eyes.
“I’m here for this! What he is doing to her has begun!” he says and I try to fight it! If I feel this amount of pain what isn’t she feeling?
I feel the bond to her start to fade away slowly when Cannon place a bottle to my lips and pour some liquid down my throat.
“It will hurt worse but this is the only way! I’m not leaving your side so focus on the mate bond! Give Selena strength to fight it!” I hear him say from a far distance, the liquid burned all the way down to my stomach. I try to hold on to the bond and pull on it when my vision becomes black and I fall into darkness.
Chapter 98
Selena POV:
He gave me the syringe in my thigh and the pain it brought to me made me p@ss out, I even wished for death to take me instead.
I thought this was it when the bond started to fade away, it felt like a part of me where about to d*ie when suddenly the thin thread that connected me to Kian stopped and pulled away. Just like it’s laying somewhere deep down, not completely gone but broken.
My heart feels like it has shattered into small pieces and the only one who can mend it together is Kian.
Tears run down my cheeks where I lay in the bed, prisoned in my own body not able to move or fight him, my heart goes out to Kian, and the thought he won’t survive this brings a sob to my lips,
I should be stronger than this! I should be strong enough to fight for my destined mate, but I’m nothing more than a breathing blood bag right now to feed Elijah’s obsession with me!
Opening my eyes I look right into a pitch–black room, not a light in sight and I know it has to be in the middle of the night! I’m not able to move when I hear his footsteps getting closer to where I lay on the bed.
I’ll rather face death than be f0rced to have him as my mate!
I know if he completes the mate bond and I K*ll him it will end up K*lling me too, that’s a sacrifice I’m ready to make just to K*ll him for what he has done!
“Now the worse part is over for you!” I hear him say before his arms come under my body and he lifts me from the bed. Feeling his n@ked chest being pressed against my body I wish I had some strength
to turn my head and rip his throat out but I’m completely cut off from my wolf.
He starts to walk with me over to a door he pushes open with his foot, inside he walks over and places me down on the toilet. I see good enough in the dark even without my wolf!
“I’m going to lean you against the sink and you can do your business while I pour a bath!” he says and leans my upper body against the sink as he said, I don’t care if I pee on the floor or over him!
I don’t care at all about anything else than the pain and emptiness I feel after Kian, I’m hollow and dead inside!
He took him from me! More tears run down my cheeks and maybe it would be for the best if Elijah s*cked me dry so there would be no turning back from the darkness, I don’t want to keep breathing without Kian!
I hear him turn on a tap and water starts to pour into the tube, I feel how my bladder empties in the toilet and I don’t care if it does or not. I hear him walk over to where I am and I guess he plans to wash his food!
“Are you done?” he says and I’m not going to answer him! Sitting completely silent when he leans down to pick me up again.
“I bet you are a bit angry about all of this but as soon we have completed the mating it will all be good, and if you behave I will give you a nice time in the bathtub,” he says and a chill courses through my body, I don’t want him anywhere near me!
He lifts me from the toilet and starts to carry me over to the tube before he slowly gets inside with me in front of him, I have already noticed he took off my underwear when I was unconscious and who knows what else he has done to me!
The warm water covers a large bit of my body when he pulls me flat against him. and places my head on his shoulder, One of his arms holds a tight grip around my waist when I feel him trace his nose down my cheek. I feel disgusted wherever he is touching my skin, I hate it!
“You smell so good! I’m going to wash you up so you’ll be ready for me once I can take your body!” he says and I bite my tongue to prevent myself from letting him. know what I feel about all this, I have a feeling if I’m going to be able and put up any fight against him I have to pretend to give in to him.
He starts to pour some shampoo into my hair and his hand comes up and washes my hair before he travels down my body and starts to wash my upper body, I hate to feel his hands on me and I would rather have him s*cking my blood than feel his touch.
His hands come to my bre@sts when I feel his dirk jerk behind my back and I have to swallow a sob.
Remembering Emma’s words how she pulled away from what happened to her body and no one of the men could take her just her body!
Well, I have to find a way out of this, I will not let him take my body!
His hand travels down my stomach and I start to feel panic through all this, can’t move and he does what he wants! A sob leaves my lips I don’t manage to swallow.
His hand comes up to my face instead when he takes a grip on my chin.
“Are you still thinking of him?” he says with venom in his voice next to my ear while his grip on my chin increases, I don’t care to answer his question, he will not get anything out of me!
He takes a large inhale at my skin before he travels down with his nose over my neck and down to my shoulder where Kian’s mark used to be.
“I know something I can do to have you more willing against me!” his evil voice says right before I feel his teeth sink down into my shoulder, I cry out in pain when his teeth hit my bone, he holds me hard and tight to his body.
Feeling when his d*ck grows hard behind my back when his venom starts to swirl around in my veins, he marked me!
I gasp out from the feeling when he retracts his teeth and licks over the bite.
“I knew you would be coming around once you get a taste of my venom!” he says next to my ear and I feel something stir inside my body. His venom spreads through my body slowly and for every place, it travels through my veins a warm feeling starts to take over, this is nothing like the mate bond I felt with Kian!
My mind is occupied with the feeling when his hand comes down and cups my p*ssy, I’m lost in my own body and trying to feel what’s happening when he starts to wash me and I gasp out from the feeling when his venom comes closer to my heart.
“I knew you would like it! And the best thing is I get to mark you again once I take your body as mine to complete it properly!” he says when I feel something snap in place inside my body, Instead of fighting against it, I welcome it!
It stirs and sizzles under my skin, ready to show its real face to me and I know his venom just opened up a new gift inside of me, I bet he didn’t prepare for this!
Remember the witch’s word to trust my gifts and I haven’t gotten all of mine when
I met him. This is something new and changes something in my body, I feel it mixes inside, pulling at my other gifts and spreading through my veins.
It stirs and pulls at my strength and every nerve in my body gets connected to it. Something is taking over my senses and I know I will get s*cked down into the darkness again, this time I welcome it!
I hope once everything has connected, I will get my strength back!
If I do, I will show him what he has taken from me and my wrath will be unleashed!
Chapter 99
Selena POV:
There is some movement beside me I realize I’m back in the bed again and Elijah is laying beside me. Feeling my body and I have started to get some strength back, I feel it deep down something has changed, and starting to gain strength.
“I hadn’t planned for you to p@ss out again! I was about to give you a nice moment when you suddenly were out!” I hear his voice and open my eyes to see the room is still black, turning my head I see him lying beside me in only a pair of boxers, I feel relieved he didn’t get to do something more to me!
“Now is time for your refill!” he says and I know I have to buy myself some time to try and get as much strength back as I can, whatever he is giving me has me weak and unable to move, cut off from my wolf.
“What is it you are giving me?” I ask the one thing I come to think of.
“Nice to hear your voice again!” he says when I feel him get up from the bed and move around in the room before he turns on a light by the window.
“It’s a rare herb that can do pretty much anything!” he says and with the knowledge, I have from these years with Sari and Emma they are extremely rare and I only know about two of them. Elijah is a vampire, then how come he knows about it?
low come you know about the herb?” I ask him and turn my head to the side and look at him when he walks over to the table in the middle of the room and picks up a bottle, he turns his head and looks at me with his wicked smile, I already know by now I won’t be liking his answer!
“Remember I told you I had a mate I K*lled!” he says and takes up a syringe from the table.
“I met her a few weeks back when she came to visit a friend in the city! When my eyes landed on her I knew she was nothing compared to you and one I would never accept, but I did have good use of her!” he says and starts to fill up the syringe with the liquid, looking at him when he places the bottle down on the tray.
“She did anything for me and all that pathetic little girl wanted to do was to please me, she was nothing more than someone to f***k while I waited for her to fix my
potions! You know she was a witch and granddaughter to Sari’s friend!” he says and now he got my whole attention, he knows about Sari then I guess he knows about my pack too!
“Now I got your attention, do I! Well, don’t be surprised! I know everything about your pack and what you are. If it weren’t for the rogue king who wants you out of the way for him to K*ll Kian and take over his kingdom I wouldn’t have gotten my hands on the herb I needed to break your bond!” he says and starts to walk closer to the bed with an evil smile.
“I don’t understand!” I say in shock, there are too many loose ends for me to connect it all.
“Well, your little stunt when you meet the rogue king on the cliff got you all his devoted attention! It took until I wanted the herb and went to their lands that we figured it all out who you are and what your connection to Kian is! He was eager to help me get what I needed and even supplied me with this house they have in the middle of the forest!” he says and it all brings me more questions, remembering the big grey wolf by the cliff I guess it’s the rogue King.
Why would the rogue King help him with everything? Even supply him with a house for him to use? All I can think of is that he is hoping to lure Kian here if he figures out somehow where I am, but he had to know I was his second chance mate and if Elijah succeeded in breaking the bond it would have Kian K*lled without them having to lift a finger against him, It doesn’t add up!
Or didn’t they believe Elijah could break the bond? This doesn’t make sense!
“Their lands?” I have to ask, what I know of the rogues doesn’t have any lands.
“Well, technically it’s not their lands, they are just occupying a piece of the no man’s land, no one is here and they can occupy the land without any interference. This little house is located in a swamp where the herb is growing right outside the door, I use to belong to a witch once, she was r@ped by a werewolf and gave birth to their child. He actually got some special gifts himself even if he is a werewolf! When he grew older he got mad at his mother for keeping him from meeting his father so he K*lled her, you can guess who his father is!” he says with an evil laugh.
I know exactly who he is referring to as his father and it all makes sense who’s the energy I felt that day in the rogue camp, he has to have been born from a very highly gifted witch to get treats from her while he is a shifter, I could feel his energy reach out to mine that day when we met.
With such a gifted wolf on their side, I know there will be a tuff battle once it begins!
Do they believe I will change sides and join them if Elijah manages to complete the bond and he is my mate? Is that what they are planning? Or do they lend him this house to him if he doesn’t manage to complete it and they are planning to kidnap me or try to K*ll me?
My mind is spinning with all these questions I just got! Elijah doesn’t seem to question the help at all!
Does he know more than I do or haven’t they filled him in on everything and not told him what I am and what I can do? Is that it?
“Elijah, do you know what I can do?” I have to ask him, I know if he answers it I will get some of my questions answered.
He takes a seat beside me and turns his head and looks at me.
“Of course, I do! You can portal! I even got to see it with my own eyes when you portal into the alley behind work. Have to say I’m impressed and that’s why I have to keep your wolf dormant so you don’t portal away from me before we have completed the mating!” he says and now I understand why they are helping him!
They haven’t told him what I can do and what gifts I possess, how can he be so blind that he doesn’t question their help at all? I only needed to hear this from him to understand what their motives are!
Chapter 100
Selena POV:
Well, they can forget about it! If I get my strength back my only mission is to K*ll them all for what they have done to me and Kian, now my target it’s not only Elijah but all of them!
I will not stop until I have gotten my revenge! Give me my strength back and I will bring them hell for this!
Trying to move any muscle in my body I feel some movement in my fingers, I can’t move too much and alert Elijah my strength is slowly coming back!
He starts to lift the blanket off my body when he takes my arm in his hand, his nose comes down to my wrist when he takes a large inhale. I can’t have him s*cking more of my blood and weakening me more.
“How long have you been a vampire and how come you know how to mask your scent?” I ask him when he stops and lifts his head to look at me.
“Why do you want to know?” he asks and doesn’t take his eyes away from me, I know I have to keep calm and don’t give away any motions to have him question what I’m up to.
“Only want to get to know you better. It feels like I don’t know you at all!” I say in a steady voice and try to sound convincing. He keeps my eyes locked with his for a long moment before he sits back up.
“I was turned a couple of years back by a friend I met on a business trip, found him s*cking blood from a maid at the hotel, and instantly wanted to be like him. He is the one who showed me how to mask my scent, I will introduce you to him when we are done! He is here with a couple more friends of ours!” he says and leans down to trace his nose over my arm again.
“He is here? Don’t you have a pack or laws you live under?” I ask, I have very little knowledge about vampires and how their world works. I haven’t run into one before and from what I know they have their own cities and council, hear him. chuckle at my question before he stops.
“Those old fossils with their laws they can keep to themselves, we live under no
rules! You can say we are like your rogues! Free to do whatever we want” he says when there come some heavy footsteps outside the door and I see Elijah snap his head towards the door.
There is a knock when he gets up and heads over to the table where he places the syringe down on the tray.
Following him with my eyes when he walks over to the door and opens it, I can’t see who’s on the other side but I can hear them talk.
“He wants to know how it goes!” I hear the other man ask Elijah. I guess he wants to know how the mating is coming along.
“It’s going good and it won’t take long now!” Elijah answers him when I hear more footsteps in the hallway.
“He wants you to bring her over to their camp once you are done, he doesn’t like to wait and wants you to finish this fast!” the man says and my heart takes one extra beat from his words. I don’t have my strength back to fight him yet, I need more time!
“Tell him it will be done tomorrow!” he says and then I hear the door close again, I have to keep calm and try to focus. If I have to tomorrow, I might have gained back a lot of my strength! If I can get him to somehow not give the syringe to me then I have a chance.
Looking at him when he starts to walk back over to the table and pick up the syringe from the tray, I don’t know how I’m going to be able to reach to him!
The one I thought he once where is obviously only what he wanted me to think he was, this person in front of me is the opposite of kind and thoughtful.
To be able and K*lls its own mate has to be the deepest of evil you could get.
By the look of him, I don’t think he has a good bone in his body!
“Well, where were we!” he says and stops to sniff in the air for a long moment before there is another knock on the door.
“Yes!” he shouts from inside to the one on the other side of the door.
“We found some dinner walking around in the forest and picking mushrooms if you want to eat something more than the blood from your mate we are about to start!” he says and I feel bad for the person who will be eaten by their hands. All these evil vampires I guess won’t leave the person alive.
“I’ll come in a minute!” Elijah says and I hear the other one behind the door turn and walk away.
Looking up at the ceiling and hating to not be able and do something, I will lay in here and can’t do anything about this either. Anger starts to bubble up in my veins. when I feel a tear run down my cheek from despair, f*ck all of them!
The bed dip and I feel Elijah’s hand come up to my cheek when he wipes off my tear.
“Don’t be sad! You will have to learn to share me with others, I like to s*ck out all their blood before I f**k their dead body! I can’t K*ll you now can I!” he says and I almost throw up by hearing his words.
He is the sickest person I have ever met, and I have met many disgusting people throughout my years!
“I won’t be gone long, I will take care of you when I get back!” he says when I feel him lift the blanket off my thigh and I know what he is going to do before he even shoots the needle inside my thigh.
Feeling the liquid spread through my vein, pain starts to build up inside my body. Not as painful as yesterday but I scream out and tears start to flood down my cheeks.
“I love to hear you scream in pain, you get me so turned on!” I hear his voice close to my ear when I feel the liquid flood around in my system.
Closing my eyes and breathe through the pain when I feel my veins start to sizzle under my skin, my new gift moves and reaches out to embrace the potion. Feel how it starts to draw energy from it and build up in my body instead,
It’s just like the potion feeds my gift with new strength!
I start to chuckle through the tears of relief I feel from this new knowledge. I’m getting exhausted at the same time, but it’s fine because I know once I wake up again I will be stronger, he just gave me my freedom in that syringe without knowing it!
“What are you laughing at!” I hear him say with some questions in his voice, he should be afraid of the monster inside me that will build up until it’s ready to be unleashed! Once it’s ready I will not spare anyone who is close enough to this house, they all will be erased by my hand!
“Answer me!” he booms out and that only has me chuckle more. Soon he will know exactly what I can do and then it will be too late for him.
“You have no idea what you just did!” I say to him right before I pass out with a smile on my lips.
