Love At The Wrong Table Chapter 1941-Despite Amethyst’s mysterious technique, Gwain dodged the attack in time.

It gave Aora the opportunity to get closer to him and snatch the Dragon Tome from his pocket.

“Let’s go!” After taking the Dragon Tome, Aora grinned at Gwain. He waved his hand at his companions, and the four envoys immediately disappeared into the jungle.

“Dmn it! Goddmnit!” “We need to go after them! They aren’t going anywhere!” Hank and Wyatt huffed. They’re unforgivable! How dare they steal the scripture with such a dirty trick? Mr. Gwain worked so hard to obtain it!

“It’s fine. No need to go after them.” Gwain stopped them.

“Why?” Hank turned around in confusion “Mr. Gwain, are you afraid of them?

Cornered We can definitely win if we fight them head–on.!”

“They’re just Teddy’s lap dogs. I can’t care less about them.” Gwain harrumphed. His expression was cold and arrogant, his tone disdainful. “The scripture is fake. They can bring it back to Teddy and let him blow himself up.” “Fake?” Hank and Wyatt were booked.

Gwain ignored them and walked over to the injured Summerton siblings. He looked down at them and coldly interrogated, “Are you from the Summerton family?” The two didn’t bother to answer him. Isn’t it obvious? We just saw each other when we climbed the mountain.

Gwain grabbed Julian’s collar to hoist him up and glowered at him. “Tell me.

Did the hidden Summerton family give you the real Dragon Tome?” “That’s right!” Julian chuckled, his eyes showed no sign of fear.

Cornered To him, Gwain was just like any other man. He couldn’t beat any of them anyway.

“Where’s the scripture?” Gwain’s eyes were filled with killing intent as he tried to intimidate Julian.

He suspected the hidden Summerton family must have given the real Dragon Tome to another member of the Summerton family while he received the fake one.

He was furious. Those sly b*stards! They’re messing with us!

“The four hunting dogs just now took it. What? They stole your book, and now you’re taking it out on us?” Julian mocked.

Roselynn’s safety is all that matters. He didn’t dream about staying alive.

Gwain slapped him hard. The momentum knocked him to the ground and caused blood to drip from the corner of his mouth.

“You! Answer me!” he threatened, pointing at the equally injured Ashton.

Comered Ashton couldn’t help but shake her head. “Julian had told you everything.

What else do you expect me to tell you? That you’re incompetent? That even Teddy’s dogs can bully you?” Gwain’s thin lips trembled in anger before he kicked Julian hard. His face was devoid of emotions. “Say that to me again, and I’ll kill your brother!” The threat worked like a charm.

Although Ashton wasn’t afraid of death, she couldn’t watch Julian being killed.

Hence, she gritted her teeth and glared at Gwain.

“Have you read the scripture?” “No,” she replied with hatred.

Gwain tilted his head and signaled Hank. The latter immediately kicked Julian hard again.

Julian felt like his internal organs had shifted. The pain was indescribable.

Cornered.

“I only read it briefly. I don’t remember much,” she admitted through gritted teeth.

“Then, you should recite what you remember to me,” Gwain ordered.

Worried that Gwain would torture Julian more, she recited a few insignificant sentences.

To her surprise, her recitation stunned Gwain, who muttered to himself, “I was right. It’s different from the scripture we received.” “Mr. Gwain, I doubt she only remembers two sentences. Should we press her further?” Hank whispered a suggestion, which left Wyatt cringed out.

He wasn’t the only person who admired Gwain’s talent. Gwain also had a reputation and was respected by many. Still, pressuring a weak woman would harm Gwain’s image.

However, Gwain didn’t see it that way. He dreamed of becoming the top martial artist in the world. Since there were no outsiders around, he wasn’t Cornered, worried about word getting out.

So, he signaled Hank again. Hank immediately gave Julian a few kicks.

“Fine! I’ll recite what I remember! If you touch Julian again, I’d rather die than tell you!” At this point, Ashton had no choice but to comply.

Love At The Wrong Table Chapter 1942-With a simple wave, Gwain gestured for Hank to halt, and he immediately stopped. Ashton furiously recalled what she had learned and managed to recite eight sentences without bothering whether they were accurate.

Noticing she was struggling to continue, Gwain turned his attention to Julian.

“Now it’s up to you. As the rightful heir of the Dragon Tome, you should definitely know more!” “Heh, I’ve committed the entire thing to memory…” Julian replied weakly with a feeble smile. Ashton was a bit taken aback. Could he actually do that?

Gwain’s joy was evident as a rare smile tugged at his lips. “Alright, go ahead and recite the whole thing for me. If you do, I promise I’ll stop causing you trouble!” He was convinced by now that the Summerton Family’s scripture differed from his own, and judging by Ashton’s recitation, it contained a legitimate martial arts technique.

“Sure, but only if you come closer. I’ll only recite it for your ears.” Julian grinned and motioned him to approach. Though a bit wary, Gwain’s desire for the The Remnants of Victor Lannister’s Fa With a simple wave, Gwain gestured for Hank to halt, and he immediately stopped. “F*ck!” The moment he leaned in, Julian suddenly shot a mouthful of blood in his direction. Gwain managed to dodge it, but the act sent him into a furious rage. “You dare?! You think I won’t kill you for that?” Known for his extreme.

dislike for anything filthy, Gwain’s rage boiled over as he raised his hand, fully intending to strike

Love At The Wrong Table Chapter 1943-“Killing isn’t something I enjoy,” Gwain remarked with an icy tone. “But when someone foolishly blocks my path, I won’t hesitate to deal with them!” “Consider this a warning. While you may be powerful, don’t assume you can take me down that easily!” Xarri replied, showing none of Gwain’s arrogance or bloodlust. Instead, he looked unbothered and composed. Despite his calm demeanor, Quell had already unsheathed her sword, ready for battle!

For years, she had been consumed with the desire to return to Chanaea and exact her revenge, and today, she would begin by targeting the so–called prodigy of the Lannister family! From what she had seen, this man was anything but noble!

“Haha–me, the true heir to the Lannister family, dealing with an outcast–how difficult could it be? Do you honestly think I, Gwain, lack the confidence to pull that off?” Gwain remained as arrogant as ever, his eyes filled with contempt for Xarri and Quell. To him, members of the Lannister family were from a superior lineage and had inherited the elder generations‘ talents.

that, they had access to the family’s extensive martial arts resources!

Without the mentorship of skilled masters or access to advanced martial arts texts, how far could these outcasts possibly develop, even with noble blood?

Gwain held onto his arrogance, refusing to strike first, his pride keeping him from making the initial move. Meanwhile, Xarri had no such hesitation. Having made up his mind, he confidently took his stance. “I’ll start if you’re not going.

to!” He had no plans to let Gwain walk away unscathed, and he was eager to see if Gwain, rumored to be on equal footing with Emmanuel, lived up to the stories.

“Whenever you’re ready!” Gwain said confidently, his hands still clasped behind him, brimming with self–assurance.

Swoosh! With a swift movement, Xarri sprang into action!

“Unbelievable speed!!” Hank gasped in shock. Wyatt felt a chill run down his spine. Despite Gwain calling Xarri a so–called outcast, he still bore the same Lannister bloodline, and if Gwain took him too lightly, it could come back to haunt him!

How Hard Could Dealing with An Outcas However, Gwain wasn’t truly careless–he just insisted on upholding the prideful air of a master fighter. The moment Xarri struck, he was ready, stepping forward to engage. Both fighters unleashed the Lannister family’s signature technique, the Blossoming Palm. Their mastery of the move was near–perfect, with equal speed and strength. Neither was gaining the upper hand as they appeared evenly matched from the start.

At the side, Quell, Wyatt, and Hank watched the battle in awe. None of them expected the other party’s abilities to rival their own side, which they held in high regard.

Xarri pressed on with the Lannister family’s techniques, and each time he executed a move, Gwain mirrored his actions. After exchanging over a dozen moves, neither could gain a clear advantage. Both fighters appeared similar in terms of strength, their expressions suggesting that they were still reserving their full strength.

Boom! They concluded their exchange with a palm strike and retreated, putting a distance of ten meters between themselves.

How Hard Could Dealing with An Outcas “Quite impressive,” Xarri remarked sincerely. “It’s clear why the Lannister family takes such pride in you!” While he hadn’t yet figured out whether Gwain or Emmanuel was the superior fighter, he recognized that they were fundamentally different types of fighters! While Emmanuel might lack the refined elegance of Gwain’s style, in a life–or–death situation, Xarri would bet on Emmanuel without a second thought! Gwain lacked the uncompromising, warrior–like presence that Emmanuel brought to the battlefield.

“You’re quite skilled yourself,” Gwain acknowledged. “It’s clear you still remember the Lannister family’s techniques well!” He was unable to gain any ground–not due to a lack of skill on his part, but because Xarri’s approach was exceptionally practical, embodying a refined simplicity! If this stalemate continued, Gwain would be the one to tire out more quickly. Additionally, his stamina was already depleted from a previous fight with Aora, so he was already at a disadvantage.

“Are we continuing?” Xarri inquired. He wasn’t intimidated by Gwain and felt capable of continuing the fight. Still, if things escalated to a full–scale conflict, he and Quell might struggle against Gwain and his companions!

How Hard Could Dealing with An Outcas “It’s up to you! I won’t stand in your way if you decide to leave!” Gwain replied.

He wasn’t certain he could overcome Xarri, and it was clear that Xarri hadn’t yet unleashed his full potential, so there was no point in dragging the fight out further.

“We’ll leave, but these two are coming with us!” Xarri declared, pointing at Julian and Ashton.

“Not a chance!” Hank retorted with a scowl. “What is the relationship between you and them? They can still bring benefits to us!” “They’re our friends!” Xarri replied resolutely, focusing his attention on Gwain rather than Hank.

Love At The Wrong Table Chapter 1944-Let’s Call a Truce “What if I refuse?” Gwain’s tone grew colder.

“Then I’ll have no choice but to defend them!” Without waiting for a response, Xarri lashed out, launching a sudden strike toward Hank, who was still pinning Julian underfoot.

Hank was caught completely off guard!

He was no weaker than Wyatt, who had once held his ground against Emmanuel. Yet now, he couldn’t even withstand a single strike from Xarri.

When he reflexively tried to deflect the blow, he was sent soaring as if carried by the wind, the bones in his arm screaming with pain!

Thud! He slammed into the ground, dazed.

“Screw you If it’s a fight you want, then so be it!” Wyatt had always maintained a sense of honor. During the duel between Xarri and Gwain, he refrained from interfering and had never even considered launching any surprise attacks. However, when Xarri made his move against Hank, Wyatt Let’s Call a Truce knew it was time to step in!

“Wyatt Let’s call a truce!” To Wyatt’s surprise, Gwain intervened, his voice cold and dismissive. “Those two likely have nothing of value to share anymore.

They’re not worth our time. Let them go!” With that, Gwain turned on his heel and walked away, leaving no room for argument. Wyatt couldn’t believe it, but he hurried to assist Hank and followed behind Gwain.

“Mr. Gwain, why did you want to retreat?” Wyatt questioned, still grappling with confusion after the abrupt departure. Gwain kept his face stoic and cold.

“Hank’s injured, and that woman’s skill may be beyond yours. Xarri knew this and struck where it would weaken us the most!” Wyatt clenched his jaw, frustration boiling just beneath the surface! He understood that Gwain’s retreat was a sign of his own doubts about defeating Xarri. If Gwain had been sure of his victory, he wouldn’t have backed down. But there was no point in dwelling on the facts–Wyatt had to keep his thoughts to himself. Hank, perceptive as ever, gave Wyatt a reassuring pat on the shoulder, suggesting he should bear with it for now.

“How are you both holding up?” Xarri asked, offering a hand to Julian as he helped him up. Quell assisted Ashton with a similar level of concern.

“Hehe… Could be better.” Julian gave a wry smile, showing no signs of fear. “If you think you can get the Dragon Tome out of me, you’re out of luck–I wouldn’t spill a word, and I wouldn’t tell you even if I remembered it….” Xarri chuckled, appreciating Julian’s straightforward nature!

Quell interjected with a frosty tone. “Don’t worry, our interest isn’t in the Dragon Tome. We’re friends of Emmanuel!” Hearing that, Julian and Ashton’s faces brightened with hope. “Is that true?” “Yes, let’s put the rest aside for now and focus on treating your wounds!” Xarri suggested with a nod. Similar to Emmanuel, he was adept in both medicine and martial arts. Given the vast supply of herbs in the Ancient Woods, he was well–equipped to handle Julian and Ashton’s wounds effectively. They needed immediate attention to ensure they could leave the forest in one piece.

Meanwhile, Emmanuel and Sage dashed down the mountain. At the base, they stumbled upon a pool of blood.

While Emmanuel was busy analyzing the blood to determine how recent it was, Sage called out not far away, “Commander, there are bloodstains and battle signs here too!” Rushing over, Emmanuel assessed the situation. With his extensive battlefield medical knowledge, he could tell that the blood from.

these two locations likely belonged to different individuals, based on the varying severity of the wounds! Panic set in–he feared he might be too late and that his sister might have already been in grave danger.

“Go after them! Track the signs and find my sister’s location immediately!” Emmanuel’s urgency was palpable.

At the base of the Ancient Woods Mountain, traces of recent battles were scattered about. “Emmanuel, looks like there’s been a clash involving several factions!” Sage observed. Despite his lower martial arts skill, his extensive combat experience allowed him to quickly analyze the situation. Emmanuel’s Let’s Call a Truce face hardened as he observed the battle signs, acknowledging, “These opponents are likely at my level or higher!” Sage, however, didn’t share this concern. He knew Emmanuel was nearly back to his former glory–the legendary Wolf Warrior who had dominated battlefields. Few could hope to rival him!

“Let’s go!” Emmanuel instructed, checking the area for any remaining threats before pressing on along the trail. Quickly, they sensed the presence of others ahead! The opponents, clearly skilled, noticed them at the same time, with some even taking cover. Emmanuel was undeterred and kept pushing forward. As the Wolf Warrior, he was fearless.

Swoosh! Just as he was closing in, a sharp sword thrust from the side sliced through the air. Emmanuel reacted with lightning speed, evading the attack and countering with a forceful strike!

wed,

Love At The Wrong Table Chapter 1945-Emmanuel’s hand relaxed halfway as he recognized the person before him.

“Mr. Emmanuel?” The woman holding the sword exclaimed, her fear turning to relief upon realizing he was the one after them. “It’s great to see you again!”

At that moment, Xarri stepped forward. Recognizing Emmanuel immediately during Quell’s attack, he knew that a confrontation was unnecessary.

Emmanuel’s swift response only deepened Xarri’s admiration.

“Xarri, Quell–why is it you two?” Emmanuel asked; astonished to see them.

“If you’re so pleased to see us, you must be even more thrilled to see them,” Xarri remarked, pointing to Julian and Ashton lying in the bushes. Julian had a broken leg and couldn’t stand, though their injuries were stable after basic treatment.

“Julian! Ashton!” Emmanuel called out, his excitement at finding them mixed with hope that it would lead him to Roselynn.

The Quest for Roselynn “Emmanuel, you’re finally here! I knew you’d come to rescue us!” Julian cried with joy upon seeing him.

Ashton rolled her eyes. “Why are you crying? You didn’t shed a tear when Gwain almost killed us earlier!” Emmanuel quickly inquired, “Gwain? Why did he try to kill you? And where’s Roselynn?” “They forced us to recite the ‘Dragon Tome‘ to take it from us,” Julian explained. “We didn’t manage to get through much of it, and in the chaos, Roselynn managed to escape. We don’t know where she is now.” Julian and Ashton then quickly briefed Emmanuel on what had happened.

This is making me panicked. Is Gwain really such a hypocrite? Am I truly on par with such a man? If Roselynn falls into his hands, she could be in grave danger! Moreover, the four people with him were unmistakably Teddy’s Four Great Envoys, even more brutal than Gwain.

The Chest for Rosem “Sage!” Emmanuel called out. “Send up a signal flare immediately to alert the Wolf Warrior brothers to escort Julian and his sister to a safe location!” “Yes, Commander!” Sage responded, setting off to execute the orders.

Tuming to Xarri and the others, Emmanuel said, “I’ll search for Roselynn in the Ancient Woods. You can handle your own affairs.” “We can help you!” Xarri insisted, unwilling to leave despite having other important matters to attend to. They decided to stay with Emmanuel and assist with the search.

After scouring the Ancient Woods for two days and nights without finding any trace of Roselynn, Sage reported, “Despite our exhaustive search, we haven’t found any sign of her. It’s very likely she’s no longer here.” Emmanuel’s expression grew serious. If not for the birth of his son, Roselynn would have been his only surviving family. Even though I usually remain calm, it’s hard not to feel intense anxiety in this situation.

“Commander, should we leave some Wolf Warrior members here to continue The Quest for Roselynn C the search while we head to Eldoria?” Sage suggested. “If Roselynn isn’t in the Ancient Woods, she must be in Eldoria!” After a moment’s thought, Emmanuel agreed, “Let’s go!” Traveling at full speed, he reached Eldoria within a day.

Sage explained, “Eldoria lies next to Zovince and acts as its gateway. While not large, it is highly developed and surpasses Yeringham in many ways. The city is under the control of three major families, with the Quill family holding the most power due to their alliance with Teddy.” He added, “The Stewart family and the Fletcher family also wield significant influence. Notably, the Fletcher family controls telecommunications and transportation. With their help, locating anyone in Eldoria should be relatively easy!” Emmanuel nodded. “Alright, let’s head to the Fletcher family right away!” Determined to find Roselynn as quickly as possible, he wasn’t concerned about whether the Fletcher family welcomed him.

The Quest for Roselynn At that, Sage quickly drove Emmanuel over to the Fletcher family, where there was a mansion that rivaled the Quillen residence in grandeur. Alert guards patrolled the area, and many of them were martial artists possessing internal strength.

Love At The Wrong Table Chapter 1946-Challenge at the Fletcher Estate “Who are you?!” Arriving without an appointment, they were immediately stopped by the guards.

Sage responded confidently, “We are from the Quillen family of Yeringham.

This is Emmanuel, the Nuthana Grandmaster. He also holds the Chairman of the Nuthana Chamber of Commerce accountable!” He emphasized Emmanuel’s prestigious titles, deliberately omitting his Wolf Warrior identity, which had to remain confidential. The aim was to improve their chances of meeting an influential member of the Fletcher family.

“Please wait!” the guards requested, their apprehension clear. Given the impressive titles, they did not dare turn Sage and Emmanuel away. What if these two are truly important figures?

Moreover, their demeanor suggested they were far from ordinary, much less frauds.

Challenge at the Fletcher Estate However, after one guard went inside to report, no one emerged for a long time.

Growing more concerned, Emmanuel repeatedly checked the time. He knew the efficiency of these business magnates; unless there was a valid reason, they wouldn’t leave guests waiting outside for so long. With each passing minute, my chances of gaining entry are diminishing.

Just as he was about to force his way in, the guard reappeared and explained, “I’m sorry, Miss Fletcher thinks you might be a fraud and has instructed me to send you away.” Sage’s eyes burned with anger. If I had known this would happen, I wouldn’t have been so courteous! He glanced at Emmanuel, who nodded, signaling him to prove it to these people.

Boom!

Without hesitation, Sage, a seasoned warrior and former boxing instructor, swiftly incapacitated two guards with just a few punches.

Challenge at the Fletcher Estate Ex “You think we’re frauds? Let me prove you wrong. I hope you won’t regret this!” he shouted.

As he spoke, he took down two more guards. The commotion drew a large number of additional guards out from the villa.

Noticing that these guards were just ordinary men–sturdy, but no match for him–Emmanuel also observed that the warriors inside the villa remained still, indicating they were a different faction from the guards outside.

Although the Fletcher family was prominent in Yeringham, their strength was not comparable to that of the Quillen family. The guards were only armed with electric batons, not firearms, which gave Sage the advantage and allowed him to handle them easily.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

In no time, Sage dusted off his hands and scoffed, “Is this all the Fletcher family cah muster? If I’d known, I would’ve barged in sooner!” 216.

Challenge at the Fletcher Estate E Urgently driven to rescue Roselynn, Emmanuel stepped over the fallen guards and made his way to the estate’s front yard.

Immediately, another group of guards surrounded them, but the three warriors Emmanuel had been observing stayed motionless.

“I need to speak with someone in charge of the Fletcher family, Emmanuel declared calmly. “I mean no harm, so please don’t force me to take further action.” I need the Fletcher family’s assistance and hope to resolve this without escalating it further, but I know I need to show some strength to prove my identity.

“Humph! Barging in like this? Do you think the Fletcher family is easily bullied?” an elderly butler demanded, stepping forward with a glare. “Seize them!” Inside the estate, the guards appeared more formidable, some armed with firearms. Emmanuel braced himself for action.

Challenge at the Fletcher Estate “Stop!” In that crucial moment, a woman’s voice was heard.

Emmanuel turned to see a short–haired woman in shorts and a windbreaker rushing out. Her slender limbs and fair skin suggested that she lived a life of privilege and comfort.

“Ms. Raina!” The butler immediately bowed and gestured toward Emmanuel. “These two have intruded into the Fletcher family grounds. How should they be dealt with?” Raina looked Emmanuel over, noting his imposing presence and the fierce energy in his gaze. It was clear he was no ordinary man.

However, Emmanuel’s attention quickly shifted to a woman inside the villa, who was observing from behind a glass window. Her straight hair, parted in the middle, gave her an aura of sophisticated elegance blended with Challenge at the Fletcher Estate modern charm while a beauty mark beside her right eye enhanced her allure.

Love At The Wrong Table Chapter 1947-Emmanuel squinted at the veiled woman, intrigued. He thought, Could she be linked to the Fletcher family? Nah, that doesn’t seem right.

Raina approached with her hands on her hips and asked, “So, you’re the Grandmaster of Nuthana?” Emmanuel nodded.

Raina continued, “We Fletcher family isn’t connected to Nuthana. What’s got you visiting us?” Despite her bold approach, Emmanuel found her directness refreshing. She doesn’t seem like someone who’d played games. He replied, “I need a favor.” Raina laughed, clearly unimpressed. “Why would we help you? The Grandmaster of Nuthana doesn’t hold much sway here in Eldoria.” “Can you make decisions for the Fletcher family?” Emmanuel asked, eager get straight to the point. He didn’t want to waste time if she couldn’t help.

Raina replied honestly, “That depends on what you need.” I need your help finding a person in Eldoria. You can set the terms,” Emmanuel revealed.

Raina seemed interested. “Okay, I can do that. Who are we looking for?”

Noticing she was approachable, Emmanuel pulled out his phone and shared a photo of Roselynn. “This is who I’m searching for.” Raina’s eyes widened. “Wow, she’s pretty! Is she Mackenzie Quillen, the number one beauty from Nuthana?” “No, she’s my sister Roselynn. She’s in trouble and has fled to Eldoria. I need to find her fast,” Emmanuel explained.

“I see–no wonder she’s not as striking as I thought. We don’t have any ties, and I don’t want to feel obligated to help you,” Raina replied, glancing towards the house.

No network available now. Please check your network.

Just then, the amazingly beautiful veiled woman waved at Raina from inside.

The Unexpected Challenge “Wait, Xylie is looking for me,” Raina promptly cut in with a boyish charm, then dashed into the house.

Meanwhile, the veiled woman’s gaze stayed fixed on Emmanuel. She waited until Raina approached her, then murmured something quietly. Although Emmanuel was good at reading lips, the veil made it impossible to catch the words.

After a brief conversation, Raina came back and asked Emmanuel, “Are you Nathan’s master?” Emmanuel was surprised and pondered, Could the veiled woman be the same person Nathan had mentioned–the only woman he ever admired but couldn’t be with?

“Yes,” Emmanuel confirmed, hoping to find Roselynn without further delay. He feared that lying might make things worse.

Raina then gestured toward three stern–looking fighters and challenged, “If you’re really the Grandmaster of Nuthana, prove it. Those three are Xylie’s The Unexpected Challenge elite guards. If you can take them on and win, I’ll help you find your sister.

Deal?”

Emmanuel assessed the three fighters. They were imposing, with cold expressions and an evident aura of strength. He was ready for the challenge, even if it meant facing thirty or even three hundred of them.

“Fine! Let’s get this over with,” Emmanuel agreed resolutely.

Raina’s eyes sparkled with excitement. With her boyish charm, she clearly relished the prospect of a good fight. “Alright, spread out, and let’s watch the fight in the garden!” Emmanuel looked back at the veiled woman. Her eyes gleamed with interest, and she was clearly eager to see him in action.

Boom! Boom! Boom! The three fighters sprang into action, surrounding Emmanuel in a tight formation. Dust and debris flew as one of them struck the ground, leaving a huge crater in the garden.

The Unexpected Challenge The spectators gasped in awe. The power of these bodyguards was impressive–far surpassing that of typical bodyguards. Emmanuel realized they were likely as strong as Blake.

“Hey, let’s go all out. We don’t have time to waste!” Emmanuel urged, determined to finish this quickly so the Fletcher family could help him find Roselynn.

Yet, his words sounded like a direct challenge to the three fighters.

Love At The Wrong Table Chapter 1948-A Test of Strength “Brat, let us show you what being a real man is all about!” “Feel the force of my Eightfold Strike!”

“Experience my Shatterkick!” Three fighters, each with a unique style, charged at Emmanuel. One was armed with a dagger, one relied on his fists, and one used powerful kicks.

To anyone watching, even ten fighters wouldn’t stand a chance. Then, something incredible happened!

Emmanuel deftly dodged all three fighters. He delivered a sharp palm strike, promptly disabling the fighter with the dagger. He then sidestepped the kicker with lightning speed, grabbed his leg, spun him around a few times, and hurled him out of the garden.

In a flash, only the fist fighter remained. His face drained of color, uncertain whether to keep fighting or back down. Emmanuel didn’t hesitate, efficiently A Test of Strength locking him in a wrestling move to subdue him.

The crowd gasped in amazement and thought, This guy is on a whole different level, handling everything with ease!

“Please, have mercy!” the fist fighter pleaded, already certain he’d be out of a job. He thought, This guy before me is beyond intimidating, like something straight out of a nightmare!

Emmanuel responded, “Get out of here!” He wasn’t looking to kill anyone; he just wanted the fighters to surrender quickly.

Just as he threw the fist fighter aside, the crowd gasped again and exchanged stunned looks.

They’d seen strong fighters before, but none like Emmanuel. Ms. Tanner’s personal guards are famous for their strength, even in taking down dangerous criminals. Yet, they were no match for this guy! Grandmaster of Nuthana–is he really this incredible?

A Test of Strength Turning to Raina, Emmanuel asked, “Miss Fletcher, are you ready to hold up your end of the deal?” “Uh, this… this-” Raina hesitated, glancing toward the veiled woman in the house.

Seeing her reaction, Emmanuel was convinced the Fletcher family was answering to the veiled woman inside, with Raina clearly loyal to her, The veiled woman gave a slight nod, got up, and left. She wondered, Is Emmanuel Lowe the Wolf Warrior? Can Julian really compete with him? Why does he seem so intense?

Raina stated with renewed confidence, “Okay, I’ll start looking for her right away. If your sister’s in Eldoria, the Fletcher family will track her down.” “Thanks!” Emmanuel acknowledged, and he went straight into the Fletcher family house.

A couple of hours later, Raina came back with a video and handed of strength Emmanuel a tablet. “Check this out and see if this is your sister.”

Emmanuel watched the video, his heart pounding and his mind racing. The woman in the video is Roselynn!

She appears messy, with bits of leaves and grass tangled in her hair, like she just came out of the woods. The footage shows her entering Eldoria; she isn’t alone–people are threatening her from behind!

Instantly, Emmanuel demanded, “Why was the video cut short?” It was clear the video had been edited to hide who was behind Roselynn’s kidnapping.

“We got this video through our contacts with the Eldoria traffic team. It was focused on finding your sister, so we didn’t include any other details,” Raina explained, either pretending not to know or genuinely clueless.

Emmanuel realized he couldn’t depend on the Fletcher family for more help. The video confirmed that Roselynn was in Eldoria, but he would have to find A Test of Strength her himself.

Catching on, Sage quickly left to take action, thinking, The Blade Battalion is great for combat, but the Elite Battalion’s pros are the best for tracking someone across an entire city. With Rhett guarding the commander–in–chief’s wife and the Wolf Warrior Unit in Yeringham, the Quillen family should be well protected.

Love At The Wrong Table Chapter 1949-“Goodbye!

Emmanuel turned around and left. Achieving his goal with the video was enough.

He was not acquainted with the Fletcher family, and expecting their help in locating someone in Eldoria was unrealistic. There was no point in him to waste any more time.

Just as he was about to exit the living room, a middle–aged man with several subordinates hurried in through the door.

“Mr. Lowe, please wait!” The middle–aged man spoke up.

Emmanuel stopped and glanced at the man, but he remained silent.

Though he didn’t recognize the middle–aged man, his resemblance to Raina An Unexpected Alliance suggested he was from the Fletcher family.

“My name is Jake, head of the Fletcher family. I rushed over as soon as Raing told me you were here, and I’d appreciate it if you could stay a bit longer–1 have something I’d like to discuss with you.” Emmanuel looked at him again, considering that even if he dispatched an elite battalion to Eldoria’s border, it would take at least a day. So, he decided to hear the man out.

After Emmanuel nodded, Jake brightened with a smile. He invited, “Mr. Lowe, please!” He personally led Emmanuel to his study, closed the door, and stationed two trusted aides outside to ensure they wouldn’t be disturbed.

Emmanuel noted the arrangement with a frown. It seemed Jake wanted to keep their discussion private.

“Mr. Lowe, I heard the Quillen family was purged last month?” Jake began.

An Unexpected Alliance Emmanuel replied directly, “That’s a widely known fact. No need for confirmation from me. Just tell me what you want.” “Uh, okay!” Jake hesitated briefly, then decided to be straightforward. “I know that the Nuthana Chamber of Commerce doesn’t typically heed Mr. Tanner’s directives. Since the Quillen family is now the president of the Nuthana Chamber of Commerce, they must be facing pressure from Mr. Tanner. The Fletcher family is interested in forming an alliance with you.” “Oh?” Emmanuel’s interest was piqued–this could turn into an unexpected advantage. Still, he remained cautious and asked, “Why is the Fletcher family so interested? Are you also under pressure from Teddy?” “How shall explain it?” Jake exhaled, thinking for a moment responding, “The chairman of the Chamber of Commerce wouldn’t go after a smaller family like ours directly, but the Fletcher family still feels the pressure An Unexpected Alliance indirectly.” Emmanuel listened in silence.

Jake continued, “Eldoria is a strategic hub for Zovince. Naturally, the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce pays close attention to its power dynamics.

They have partnered with the Quill family to support their dominance in business and politics in Eldoria!

“Previously, Eldoria was balanced between the Fletcher, Toma, and Quill families. Now, the Fletcher family has been pushed to the periphery by the Quill family!

“If this continues, in less than three years, the Fletcher family will be relegated to a marginal role in Eldoria!” Emmanuel could see the genuine anxiety in his eyes.

No wonder when we forced our way into the Fletcher family’s place today, we found that their guarding force was so mediocre, unlike the strength of a super wealthy family!

“So, I want to ally with the Quillen family. If I can help them become the new chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, I hope you will assist us in dealing with the Quill family. We’ve had enough Jake said passionately, his fists clenched.

Emmanuel’s trust in him grew. Without any previous connections between the Quillen and Fletcher families, he felt a partnership based solely on mutual benefit seemed more reliable.

“You can join forces with us but must show your sincerity!” Emmanuel finally spoke, his words were concise and to the point.

Jake wasn’t foolish. He immediately responded, “As long as you agree to help us deal with the Quillen family, I will do everything in my power to find your sister.” “Smart move!” Emmanuel said, satisfied with the terms. “If you find my sister, I’ll make sure to repay the favor, no matter what you ask for.” “Understood. My requirements are clear now!”

Love At The Wrong Table Chapter 1950-Jake enjoyed conversing with someone as straightforward as Emmanuel and quickly stated, “I need you to help us eliminate the Quill family’s private militia operating on the border of Eldoria!” “What?” Emmanuel was slightly surprised, his eyes narrowing with a cold glint. “There are private militias within Chanaea?” Jake responded immediately, “Yes, this private armed group is called Silver Fox, and it was developed under the name of a mercenary organization.

Because they have the protection of masters in Zovince, no one can do anything to them.

“Now, they have grown to several thousand! And one of the financial groups that funded them is the Quill family. The Quill family also used this armed group to commit evil in Eldoria, bully other commercial forces, and seize commercial interests!” Alliance and Betrayal Emmanuel nodded. It was clear that the Fletcher family had suffered significantly at the hands of these forces; otherwise, Jake wouldn’t be so agitated, almost like a child who has been wronged!

“But eliminating a militia isn’t easy,” Emmanuel said. While he had the capability and was keen to give his new Wolf Warrior Unit troops some practice, exposing them and risking their lives for the Fletcher family’s benefit might not be worthwhile.

Jake immediately countered, “It’s not as difficult as it seems. I heard that the Quillen family has a partnership with Diamond Titan Military Technologies. If you can get them to stop selling arms to Silver Fox, it will deliver a serious blow to them!” Emmanuel’s brow furrowed. Although weapons were crucial, such measures would only limit Silver Fox and wouldn’t eradicate them. It was not a permanent solution.

Jake continued, “I also heard that you have a Wolf Warrior organization in Nuthana. If you have weapons and they don’t, you should be able to defeat them, right?” Emmanuel chuckled, “Do you think I would engage in a bloody battle with Silver Fox just for the Fletcher family?” Jake nodded seriously. “Not for the Fletcher family, but Mr. Lowe, you would certainly spare no effort for your sister, wouldn’t you? And you just promised to repay this favor!” Emmanuel frowned tightly, finally understanding why Jake schemed. Sure enough, anyone who could be the head of a business family must be a tough guy! As expected, Jake opened the tablet and showed Emmanuel the other videos.

The footage revealed that Roselynn had been brought into Eldoria by three men and was coerced to go somewhere specific.

Jake continued, “These are people from the Lannister family. Should all go well, they should be taking your sister to the Quill family’s territory!”

Emmanuel immediately asked, “Does the Lannister family have a connection with the Quill family?” “The Lannister family and Teddy have an ambiguous relationship. The Lannister family has always been quite aloof, even in Zovince, where they don’t look up to any other family. However, they have to ally with other wealthy families to maintain their status.

“Thus, while the Lannister family and the Tanner family appear to cooperate, I suspect their relationship is merely superficial, with each side pursuing its own agenda,” Emmanuel remained silent. He made the right decision to come to the Fletcher family as he did not expect to get so much information about the enemy. Although he and Jake were not yet working together, this man had no reason to lie to him!

“Do you have any additional information about my sister?” Emmanuel continued to inquire.

Alliance and Betrayal The videos Jake had shown him so far were all taken in public areas.

Although it was certain that Roselynn was held hostage by Gwain and his lackeys, he was not sure where his sister was taken by them eventually.

“Mr. Lowe, not at the moment!” Jake, skilled in negotiation, added, “As long as you agree to help the Fletcher family, we will do everything possible to find your sister!” Emmanuel pondered for a moment and then nodded slightly, “Alright, I agree.

But I must also warn you!” Jake gulped nervously. The man’s imposing presence was overwhelming, and facing him was immense pressure.

‘As long as you genuinely help the Quillen family overthrow Teddy, I will support the Fletcher family to become the top power in Eldoria. However…” Emmanuel paused, and a murderous aura burst from his body.

At this moment, Jake seemed to see a scene of utter carnage in the depths.
