Julia looked at Summer and said with a serious tone, "And Summer, since you've decided to cut ties with the Graham family, you should stay away from Fraser from now on."
Summer's eyes flickered slightly. After a moment, she slowly nodded.
After dinner, Summer washed up and lay in bed, planning to read a little before sleeping. A book on pregnancy guidelines sat on her bedside table.
Suddenly, her phone chimed. "Good night."
Ever since finding out she was pregnant, Fraser had been sending her good night messages every day. Summer had never responded. Tonight, as she stared at the message, she felt a little dazed.
Julia's words from earlier echoed in her mind.
Summer tapped into WhatsApp and opened the man's profile. Her finger hovered over the "Block Contact button. She stared. at it for a long time. Taking a deep breath, she was just about to confirm when her phone suddenly rang.
Without thinking, she answered.
Yvette's voice came through the line. "Summer, I know someone whose hometown has really fresh, organic produce. I bought a bunch of organic vegetables and free-range chicken from her and sent them to you."
Summer said, "How much weight are you planning to make me gain?"
"The more,
the better. You can't starve my godbaby.
Summer suddenly remembered something. Your birthday is in two days. Why didn't you mention it?"
In the past, Yvette always threw grand birthday parties, and Summer never missed them. They always celebrated each other's important milestones. But this year was different. These parties were always loud and lively, and now that Summer was pregnant, it didn't seem like the right environment for her.
Yvette had thought about that too. "This year, I plan to sneak back at midnight to blow out the candles with you."
Summer didn't want to dampen Yvette's excitement. It would be rude for the birthday girl to leave halfway through. She smiled and said, "I'm pregnant, not crippled. I'm not that fragile. I'll come celebrate with you for a bit, but I won't be able to stay until dawn this year.”
1
Yvette was thrilled. "Summer, that's great! You just need to be there when I cut the cake. I wouldn't want my godbaby staying up late anyway."
After chatting for a little while, they hung up. Summer looked at Fraser's WhatsApp again. She didn't block him. She simply exited the app.
Two nights later, Summer arrived at Yvette's party.
The club was a blur of neon lights, dizzying colors, and deafening music. People danced wildly to the pulsing beats. Feeling uncomfortable, Summer quickly made her way toward private room 505.
Just then, she bumped shoulders with a man in a floral shirt. Xavier looked up and immediately recognized her. "Summer, what are you doing here?"
Seeing it was him, Summer answered simply, "My friend's birthday

These rich playboys always had a habit of hitting on any beautiful woman they found intriguing. Summer didn't want to entertain him. Then, a thought struck her. "Wait.. how did you know I was pregnant?"
"The hospital where you scheduled your abortion belongs to me."
Summer pieced everything together instantly. It was Xavier who had tipped Fraser off. Her expression darkened.
Xavier said. "I just thought the father had a right to know,"
Summer's tone was indifferent. "You're his friend; of course you'd take his side."
"I'm not taking sides. But maybe you should stop and think how Fraser has really treated you." Seeing her lost in thought, Xavier casually added, "Oh, by the way, you asked me before about the girl in Fraser's office photo. Did you ever go check for yourself?"
Summer remembered. Back when she was in the hospital, she had asked Xavier, "Who's the girl in the photo in Fraser's office?"
That memory resurfaced, and she lowered her eyes, speaking slowly. "Fraser's
past.. has nothing to do with me anymore.
With that, she turned and walked away.
Xavier watched her slender figure disappear around the comer, lost in thought. Just then, a waiter carrying a fruit platter passed by.
Xavier stopped him and asked, "There's a celebrity birthday party tonight, right? Which room is it in?"
The waiter assumed he was just another crazy fan and kept his mouth shut. "Sorry, we can't disclose guest information."
Then, he quickly walked away. Ha. First Summer, now even the staff are guarding
against me? Did they really think that just because they wouldn't tell me, I wouldn't be able to find out?
Xavier remembered that Fraser had invested in this club.

Ruining Her Birthday
The Graham Group's investment division was the largest investor in the country. No matter the industry, if it was a top-tier institution, the Graham Group had a stake in it.
Xavier made a call. "Bossman, want to come to The Qube for some fun?"
The man on the other end responded with an emotionless voice, "No time."
"Oh?" Xavier chuckled. "Your dear Summer is here."
Fraser frowned. What is she doing in a place like that while pregnant?
"Why is she there?"
Xavier shrugged, his tone laced with amusement. "No idea. She said she's here for her best friend's birthday party. You know how loud this place is. From a medical perspective, it's not good for a pregnant woman to stay too long. It could lead to suboptimal health. Best case, it's bad for the baby; worst case... well, you know. As your good friend, I feel obligated to stop her. The problem is, I don't know which private room she's it."
Xavier spouted nonsense with a completely serious expression. But the man on the other end actually listened. His deep. voice came through. "Wait there."
With that, the call ended. A few seconds later, Xavier received a message. "Room 505. Keep an eye on her. I'll be there soon."
Xavier smirked. Little wildcat, here I come!
Summer entered Room 505.
The place was packed, filled with a deafening mix of voices and flashing lights. The stage glowed with dazzling colors, casting an almost surreal glow over the room. The music blasted at full volume.
Most of Yvette's social circle was from the entertainment industry. So nearly everyone attending her birthday party tonight was a trending celebrity or internet influencer-gorgeous, glamorous women dressed to impress.
When Summer walked in, the crowd was too caught up in the party to notice her. It was Yvette, in the middle of dancing, who spotted her first. She immediately jumped off the stage and pulled Summer over. "Summer, you made it! Sit for a bit. I'll have them bring out the cake now, Once we blow out the candles, you can have a bite, and I'll have someone send
you home."
Summer glanced at the time. “It's not even midnight yet.
Yvette knew this environment was too overwhelming for a pregnant woman. The fact that Summer had come at all already made her happy.
"With you here, it already feels like midnight.” She called over a server to prepare the cake.
Moments later, a towering five-layer cake was wheeled in by the staff. The band on stage lowered the volume, and all the celebrities and influencers gathered around.
Wow, the birthday girl's moment!"
"Happy birthday. Yvette! May your career reach new heights! Time to win that award!"
"May Yvette make tons of money!"
The atmosphere instantly became even livelier. Just as the cake was being brought in, a man strolled in behind it. A slick- looking guy with a roguish air.
It was Hobby. The same Bobby who had been relentlessly chasing after Yvette recently.

Suddenly, there were two knocks at the door. Xavier leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, standing there casually. “Did I miss a good show?"
Everyone turned to look. Another handsome man had arrived. In Havenbrook's upper circles, the same people always came and went. But behind closed doors, there were different factions. Xavier stood with the Graham family, while Bobby was with the Larson family. Naturally, the two knew each other.
Xavier adjusted his shirt collar as he walked in, as if to say Bobby was being tactless. "It's a beautiful woman's birthday, and you, a grown man, came to ruin it. Is that appropriate?"
Then, he looked at Summer. "And Summer is family. I didn't like what you just said.
Family Bobby scoffed. Back when Summer was with Trevor, she was also technically his "family" But he had never acknowledged her.
Bobby frowned. "What does it have to do with you if I'm chasing after my woman?"
Xavier glanced at Yvette, then said, "Nothing. Except the woman you're chasing happens to be the one I want to pursue. So what do you propose we do about that?"
The two tall men stood face to face, the tension thick between them. Yvette was starting to get a headache. She wanted to kick both of them out. Someone in the crowd suddenly suggested, "Since both of you are after Yvette, why don't you compete for her?"
Xavier raised an eyebrow. "Alright. What's the game?"
Most of the people present were women. Both men were exceptionally good- looking, each with a different kind of charm- handsome and noble, yet with a bit of a rogue-like edge
A female celebrity chimed in, "Whoever loses a round has to take off a piece of clothing. Keep going until you're completely stripped. Dare to play?" wing even wilder.
The moment those words landed, the women in the room cheered even louder, the atmosphere growing
"Yes! This forfeit is perfect. Men always ogle us. Let's finally get a show for ourselves!"
Bobby snorted and shot a glare at Xavier, his tone provocative. "Fine. Do you dare?"
Xavier smirked lazily. Why wouldn't I?"
It was just taking off a few pieces of clothing. He turned to Yvette, his voice teasing. "Do you want to see me strip?"
Standing off to the side, Summer couldn't hold back her laughter when she heard that.
Yvette frowned. "Cet lost. I don't want to see either of you."
Hobby's
mood soured even more as he watched Xavier flirt with Yvette right in front of him.
He snapped impatiently. "If we're playing, hurry up. Quit stalling
Then, he turned to Summer. "You be the judge
One of the women in the crowd protested, her voice laced with dissatisfaction. "Why does she get to be the judge?" Xavier raised an eyebrow and smiled. "Because she was once both of our "family". That makes it fair, doesn't it?" Summer was speechless. Well, technically, he wasn't wrong.
And just like that, under the eager gazes of the crowd, Summer became the judge and began dealing the cards.
Round one. After Summer dealt the cards, both men flipped theirs over. Bobby lost! His face darkened as he stood up.
mouth earlier?"
Bobby clenched his teeth, then yanked off his expensive watch and threw it onto the table.
Round two. Bobby lost again! He looked at his cards and cursed. "Shit!"
The women around them started hyping it up
"You're out of accessories! Time to strip! Take it off!"
These women were absolute wolves. Bobby yanked off his shirt, revealing his toned, tanned upper body, with a few stray hairs in the middle. He tilted his chin up, deliberately showing off his physique to Yvette. Yvette turned her face away coldly.
What was there to look at? A few scraps of muscle?
The air in the room became charged with male hormones, and some of the women started screaming. Xavier had been lounging comfortably on the couch, relaxed and unconcerned. But when he saw Bobby strip and heard the women going wild over it, he suddenly felt a little annoyed.
That scrawny frame? Is this what they are all screaming about? Do they have no taste?
He looked at Summer. "Summer."
Summer had no interest in Bobby. She had already seen the best physique there

She was shuffling the deck when she heard Xavier call her name. "What?"
Xavier cleared his throat. "Make me lose a round too."
Summer was speechless.
"Why?"
Xavier, dead serious, replied. "So these ladies can see what real abs look like.”

Summer was speechless. Is this the damn male ego at work?
Round three. Taking advantage of the fact that no one was paying attention, Summer secretly rigged the cards.
Finally, Xavier lost. Seeing his cards, Xavier smirked and stood up, walking step by step toward Yvette.
Watching him approach, Yvette instinctively resisted, her brows furrowing. "Why are you coming over here?"
"To take off my clothes."
Yvette was annoyed. "You're stripping in front of me? Are you insane?
Xavier lowered his head to look at her, his voice both domineering and teasing. "I want you to be the first to see."
With that, he placed his hands on the buttons of his dress shirt, his alluring eyes locked onto her.

Summer was right beside Yvette. She watched as Xavier slowly undid the buttons of his patterned shirt from top to bottom, revealing glimpses of his well-defined muscles.
Then, he grabbed both sides of his shirt, about to strip it off entirely! All the women in the room stared at his slow-motion movements, unconsciously drooling. Suddenly, a jacket was thrown from a distance, landing squarely on Summer's head.. blocking her view.
Summer was speechless.
Fraser strode in with elegance, his tall frame exuding authority. His deep voice carried a distinct displeasure. "Should I call an AV producer for you all? Let you show off as much as you want?"
Xavier saw Fraser had arrived and shrugged, dropping his hands from his shirt. Even Bobby, bold as he was, had to rein himself in before Havenbrook's top dog. Hearing Fraser's voice, he grabbed his discarded shirt and put it back on. Some people in the room recognized him and Kasped, whispering amongst themselves.
"Isn't that the bossman of the Graham family?"
"I think the Graham Group was one of
of the
investors in your last film."
"I wish he'd just look at me once. I could die happy."
Fraser's eyes swept indifferently around the room before finally settling on Xavier.
"This is what you call 'taking care of someone? Stripping for my woman to see?”
Xavier felt wronged. He was stripping for Yvette, so how did it turn into him stripping for Summer?
Summer, completely unaware, was still covered by the jacket. She thought someone was playing a prank on her.
She
pulled the jacket off her head and, upon seeing the striking man standing before her, froze for a moment.
She asked, "Why did you throw this over my head?"
Fraser answered, "Didn't want your eyes getting tainted."
With that, Fraser domineeringly wrapped an arm around Summer's waist and pulled her into his embrace. The female celebrities and influencers in the room, seeing the high-and-mighty Fraser holding Summer like that, were overwhelmed with jealousy.

Seeing her unbothered expression, Fraser sounded jealous as he said, "What, do you want to go back and keep watching men strip?
Summer retorted, "Isn't Xavier your friend? That doesn't count as another man, does it?"
Fraser frowned. That sounded... off.
"Even if it's him. it's still a no. If you want to look, you can only look at me."
As if something clicked in his mind, Fraser suddenly leaned close to her ear, his voice dropping into something low and sinful. "Come to think of it, it has been a while. That's probably why you're feeling so... deprived. My bad. I looked it up. Doctors say it's fine after three months"
Summer was speechless. She shot him a look and turned to leave. Fraser quickly caught up, bent down, and effortlessly swept her up into his arms in one fluid motion. Caught off guard by the sudden lift, Summer's face turned red. "What are you doing? Put me down! Everyone's watching!"
“Let them watch. Fraser was utterly unconcerned.

Fraser placed Summer in the passenger r seat and shut the door before walking around the front of the car. Sliding into the driver's seat, he turned to her and ruffled her hair.
"Be good. I have a surprise for you later."
Summer turned her head away and refused to look at him. Why is this man so damn domineering?
Fraser gripped the steering wheel, eyes fixed ahead, and stepped on the gas. With a loud roar, the yellow Lamborghini shot forward like a streak of lightning Half an hour later, a towering 66-story white luxury architectural masterpiece came into view-the six-star Summer Hotel.
The Lamborghini pulled up in front of the hotel's grand fountain.
Summer Hotel's exterior was breathtaking, its level of luxury astonishing. Every detail had been meticulously crafted, exuding an unparalleled sense of design. From a distance, it looked like a dazzling gem embedded in the heart of the bustling
city.
Summer knew this place. It was the first six-star hotel in Havenbrook, featuring an aerial garden, an ocean-view restaurant, a swimming pool, a conference hall, and more
Built three years ago, it was named Summer Hotel. Its grand opening had caused a sensation in Havenbrook, instantly becoming a city landmark. There were many rumors surrounding this mysterious Summer Hotel. Some said its owner was a foreign billionaire. Some speculated that "Summer" stood for an interstellar spaceship.
Fraser got out of the car, walked around to the passenger side, and leaned against the open door as he stared at Summer.
Summer glanced at the hotel, puzzled. "Why did you bring me here?"
Did he seriously bring ne to a hotel to get a room? She was only two months pregnant. Intense activity was not recommended.
Fraser arched a brow, and he smirked. "If you don't get out, I'll sell you
Summer clenched her teeth but still stepped out of the car. A long red carpetstretched from the car door all the way to the hote! entrance like a vibrant ribbon. Summer looked at Fraser in confusion. Fraser simply lifted his chin, signaling her to walk forward. She had only taken a few steps when a little girl holding a bright red rose approached, beaming.
"Miss, I wish you happiness every day."
With that, the little girl handed her the rose. Summer was surprised, reaching out to accept it in a daze. "Thank you." She continued down the red carpet. Along the way, more little girls, each holding a rose, approached her with blessings.
"Miss, I hope you have a little princess."
"Miss, I hope you'll always be beautiful."
"Miss. I wish you eternal happiness."
By the time Summer stepped into the hotel, her arms were full of flowers. And the moment she entered the lobby, the scene before her left her utterly stunned. Two rows of hotel staff stood neatly in formation, bowing slightly, their voices in perfect

Standing in the doorway, Summer was taken aback. "Tonight... what does this mean?"
Fraser arched a brow, his dark eyes fixed on her, a hint of expectation in his gaze. Do you like it?"
Summer swallowed. If she said no now, would he destroy her?
Fraser's gaze deepened as he watched her, the corner of his lips lifting slightly. "Summer, this is a gift for your pregnancy
Summer lowered her eyes. Got it. Everything he did was for the baby
Summer responded indifferently, "Oh."
Fraser reached out, pinched her cheek, and curved her lips into a smile. "Why don't you look happy?"
Summer forced a half-hearted smile to appease him.
Fräser let out an exasperated sigh. "Ms. Stewart, you are really hard to please."
Summer walked inside and placed the roses in her arms onto the sea of flowers. The next second, Fraser wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his chin on the top of her head. His voice was deep and alluring. Tonight, don't reject me, okay? Just for one might."
Summer's eyes flickered. Above her, his lazy, sexy voice sounded again. "Do you know why this hotel is called Summer

The words surged into Summer's heart like a sudden wave of warmth, making her eyes tear up. She blinked and asked softly, "But this hotel was built only three years ago. You didn't even know me back then."

Fraser smiled. “Summer, don't you want to know who originally adopted Pudding?"
Summer froze. The woman who adopted Pudding was his first love. She couldn't help but look up, meeting his gaze. In his eyes, she saw her own reflection. Something was on the verge of revealing itself. Her heart suddenly raced, pounding so fast that her ears could no longer pick up any other sound.
She asked in a daze, "Who... is it?"
Suddenly, an ill-timed ringtone broke the silence. It was Fraser's phone. He pulled it out, saw the number, and declined the call. But the phone rang again, demanding attention.
Summer's heartbeat gradually steadied as she stepped out of his embrace. "You should answer it."
Fraser glanced at her before pressing the phone to his ear. "Hello?"
"Mr. Graham, Mr. Maximus had a relapse. He's been taken to the hospital!" Fraser's brows immediately furrowed into a deep.

After ending the call, he looked troubled. "I have to go. I'll send someone to take you back later."
Summer couldn't tell how she felt. She pretended to be fine. "Okay"
Fraser reached the door but turned back to see her slender, lonely figure. His

At Graham Group Hospital. Outside the operating room, the atmosphere remained solemn and cold.
Helen paced anxiously, supported by the butler.
Fraser walked in. The moment Helen saw him, she clung to his hand, her voice filled with emotion as she said, "My dear grandson, you're finally here..." "What happened this time?"
The butler shook his head. Fraser frowned. At that moment, the double doors of the operating room swung open. The hospital director and the attending doctor stepped out.
Helen's voice trembled with fear. "How is he? This time. he'll be okay, right?" The attending doctor sighed. "Madam Graham, Mr. Graham. my condolences."
Hearing those words, Helen staggered, her body shaking violently. Then, she shouted in fury, "Condolences? What condolences! The Graham family paid so much money to support you doctors! And this is the result of your treatment? I don't believe it! Fraser, get foreign specialists immediately!"
The hospital director spoke, "Mr. Graham, you should go in and see him while there's still time."
Tears streamed down Helen's face. Fraser's expression darkened. He nodded, supporting Helen as they stepped inside.

Summer was woken up by a phone call. With her eyes still closed, she reached for her phone on the bedside table and answered. It was Yvette on the other end. "Summer! Have you seen the news?"
"What?"
"Today's biggest headline in Havenbrook! The Graham Group just announced that Maximus has passed away."
Hearing this, Summer instantly snapped awake. She sat up in bed and quickly searched on her phone. The news headlines were all about Maximus' death, and even the Graham Group's official website was in black and white.
Yvette continued, "Didn't you leave with Fraser last night? How is he? I heard some gossip that Fraser lost his parents when he was young and was raised by Maximus and Helen. Now that Maximus is suddenly gone, this must be a huge blow to him."
Summer lowered her gaze. "Yvette, I'll call you back later."
She hung up and recalled waiting for Fraser last night. At some point, she had fallen asleep. Looking around the suite, the fresh flowers were still vibrant under the sunlight. After a moment of hesitation, she dialed a number she hadn't called in a long time.
The phone rang a few times before the call was connected.
Summer gripped her phone tightly. "Fraser... are you okay?"
There was a few seconds of silence before an aged voice spoke. "Summer." It was Helen.
Summer bit her lip, momentarily at a loss for words.
Helen was half-lying on a hospital bed, her eyes red, her white hair disheveled. She had fainted last night and was admitted to a hospital roorn. Fraser had been handling everything and stayed by her side after finishing up the arrangements. He had stepped out briefly to speak with the hospital director, leaving his phone on the table.
When the phone rang. Helen saw Summer's name on the screen. Instantly, her sharp, clear gaze turned cold, and she picked up. With the grief of Maximus' death still fresh, Summer's call was like fuel to the fire.
Helen's pupils burned with rage as she erupted. "Summer, do you remember what you promised me? You took 30 percent of the Stewart family's shares from me! You agreed to leave my grandson! So why are you still breaking your word and clinging to him? You disgusting, shameless woman! You think you can manipulate your way in by getting pregnant? Let me tell you right now, don't even think about it! If you don't want anything to happen to your child, then stay as far away from Fraser as possible. Otherwise, don't even dream of giving birth to this baby!"
With that, Helen hung up viciously.
Her chest heaved from her outburst, and after a moment, she steadied herself. She entered a long-known password into the phone and deleted Summer's call log.
Just as she was about to place the phone back on the table and pretend nothing had happened, she looked up, only to see Fraser standing at the doorway with one hand in his pocket.
Helen's heart nearly stopped. Her face paled as she clutched her chest. "My dear grandson. when did you get back?"
Fraser's gaze was dark as he stepped inside. He reached for his phone on the table and rubbed it between his fingers. "What did you delete?"
Helen's eyes flickered. “No, I. I just thought I saw something on your phone..."
Fraser unlocked his phone and found nothing unusual. His sharp gaze bore into Helen for a few seconds.

Fraser tapped his phone lightly a few times. "Leave us."
The doctors and nurses exited the room, closing the door behind them.
Helen forced a stiff smile. "My dear Fraser, your grandfather is gone. There must
be a lot to handle at the company. You should go take care of business."
Fraser lifted his eyes coldly. His tone was indifferent, yet carried a hint of pressure. That call just now. It was from Summer.

Fraser walked up to the hospital bed and casually sat down in the chair, his head slightly lowered as he stared at the phone in his hand in silence for a while.
"Grandpa just passed away yesterday, I wasn't planning on saying this so soon," he finally spoke, Lifting his head, his eyes locked onto Helen's as he said, "Grandma, I want to marry Summer
Helen was in shock, and her face paled when she heard that, Fury surged through her as she snapped, "So you do realize your grandfather just left us, and now you're trying to send ane to the grave right after him! Fine, you're the head of the Graham family now. You can do whatever you want. You don't need to care about an old woman like me, do you?" Her voice turned emotional. “Let me tell you, Fraser, if you dare to marry that woman, I'll end my life right here and save you the trouble of arranging another funeral
Fraser's gaze flickered slightly. He pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "Why do you have to go this far? Over the years, I've ignored all the things you've done behind my back because they didn't matter to me. Those women meant nothing. But Summer? I love her
It was the first time Fraser had ever said the word "love."
He had never imagined such a word would apply to him. When he was a child, after losing his parents, he had been thrown. into training to become the heir of the Graham Group. His education covered everything except love. Maybe their first encounter had been nothing more than a fleeting spark, but all the jealousy, heartache, and longing that followed confirmed one thing that he had fallen for Summer.
Helen let out a cold, mocking laugh. "Love? Do you think love has a place in a family like ours? Your grandfather's barely gone, and your uncle Brandon has already rushed back from Oblistan to make a move. What you should be focusing on is how to protect the Graham family, not indulging in some foolish romance! If you hadn't refused to marry into the Lastesh Group. I wouldn't have had to resort to this!"
Fraser's eyes narrowed slightly, the sharpness in his gaze intensifying. "After Grandpa's hundred-day memorial, I hope you won't bring this up again. I'm not asking for your opinion, I'm informing you. As for Brandon, it's time to have a proper talk with him"
Helen turned away, refusing to meet his eyes. "I'm tired. You should go."
Fraser left the VIP ward and immediately dialed Summer's number. The call rang for a long time, but no one answered.
At that moment, Mike approached respectfully. "Mr. Graham, the ruedia has surrounded both the Graham Group and the family estate following Mr. Maximus' passing. The company's stock has also fluctuated, and many senior shareholders, those who built the empire alongside Mr. Maximus, are starting to stir. You'll need to hold a shareholders' meeting soon to stabilize
the situation."
Fraser glanced at the unanswered call before issuing a direct order. "Send someone to Sumuner's hotel to bring her home. Whatever she needs, make sure it's taken care of
A week passed.
Summer continued her daily routine as if Helen's call had never happened. The men Fraser sent to pick her up turned away. Nothing seemed to have changed, but at the same time, something had.

For the first time, Summer seriously considered whether she and Julia should leave Havenbrook and start over somewhere
On the day of her three-month prenatal checkup, Yvette accompanied her to the hospital,
Summer filled out a stack of forms, pausing briefly when she reached the "Father" section before skipping over it entirely. Yvette, watching from the side, subtly asked, "Summer, that night Fraser took you away. Did anything happen between you

Handing the completed form to the nurse, Summer teased, "Didn't Bobby and Xavier take turns blowing them out with your I say that speaks volumes about your charm"
Yvette scoffed. Td rather give that charm to the old lady selling vegetables on the street"
Summer chuckled. "Bobby's definitely a playboy, but Xavier seems decent enough"
Yvette thought for a moment. "He's got a better body than Bobby, I'll give him that. But I'm not in the mood for romance right now. I need to focus on my career before I hit 30. You know how short a female celebrity's prime is?
Summer was soon led away for a series of tests-blood work, an ultrasound, an EKG. After a half-hour wait, the doctor reassured her that the baby was developing well,
Holding the ultrasound printout, Summer walked out of the room, and Yvette immediately leaned in. The two of them stared at the blurry image in awe and delight.
Oh my God!" Yvette gasped. "This is my godbaby! Look! So freaking cute!" Send Gifts

immer was speechless. "It's just a shadow. What's so cute about 11?"
"You're gorgeous. And let's be honest, Fraser is better-looking than most male models in the industry. There's no way your haby won't be stunning"
umer paused for a moment.
Realizing her slip, Yvette stuck out her tongue. "I mean, Summer, you have great genes.
Suddenly, Yvette's phone rang-She answered with a frown. "Wasn't the ad shoot scheduled for later? What are you doing? I'm in the middle of something right now."
After hanging up, Summer said, "Alright, I'm done with my checkup anyway. You should go. I have some work to handle at the office later."
Yvette nodded. "Fine. Ell call you later."
She left in a hurry, Summer then headed to another department to pick up some medication for Julia. Just as she was about to leave, a voice called out from a distance.
"Summer." She stopped and looked over. It was Sienna. She was probably at the hospital with her parents for a checkup.
Not wanting to deal with her, Summer turned to leave, but Sienna quickly ran over and blocked her path.
"Summer."
"What do you want?" Summer's tone was cold.
Sienna smiled. "What brings you to the hospital?"
Summer remained indifferent. "We're not friends anymore. If there's nothing else, I'm leaving."
Seeing that Summer was about to go, Sienna hastily blurted out, "Summer, can you reinvest in Aspira Design Institute? It's about to go under
After Summer walked away last time, she had immediately withdrawn her investment in Aspira Design Institute. Already struggling, the institute now faced complete closure due to a lack of funding and projects.
Sienna grasped Summer's hands, looking pitiful. "Summer, you put so much effort into Aspira Design Institute too. I know you wouldn't want to see it shut down. Just help me one more time. Just once. I'm really out of options!"
Summer pulled her hands away coldly. "That's your problem."
Despite all the messages Sienna had sent to apologize to both Summer and Yvette, neither of them had responded. It was as if she no longer existed to them.
Frustration flared within Sienna. Her chest burned with anger as she yelled, "Summer, have you forgotten how I helped you in college? Just because I talked to Fraser for a bit, you cut me off completely? You're so heartless! You call yourself a friend, but the moment something happens, you throw me into hell! What kind of 'friend' does that? You're just a hypocrite!*
Summer frowned and let out a laugh. I'm heartless? When I knew you were struggling to run Aspira Design Institute, I invested without hesitation. I personally secured every project for Aspira. When Mason blackmailed you with those photos, I was the one who retrieved the evidence for you. And this is how you act? Funny
Sienna refused to listen. The only thing that mattered to her now was that she needed money. "Tll ask you one more time. Are you going to reinvest in Aspira Design Institute?"
Summer scoffed. "Do I look like an idiot? Why would I make the same mistake twice?"
With that, she turned and walked away.

"Well, well. Summer.. you're pregnant. And the father is listed as 'unknown'? That means this child isn't Fraser's. Looks like I've got something on you now,"
At that moment. Laurett and Natelie approached from a distance.
"Wasn't that Summer just now? Laurett asked. "What happened? It looked like you two were arguing
"Summer?" Natelie asked
"She's Sienna's good friend," Laurett explained. "When you were sick and asleep last time, she came to visit. She used to come. over to our house in college. She's doing really well now and has always been kind to Sienna.
Hearing Laurett's praise for Summer. Sienna snapped impatiently, "Kind to me? Kind, my ass!"
Laurett looked confused.
"What happened? Didn't she invest in Aspira Design Institute to help you? Why are you saying this about her?"
"You think she invested in Aspira out of kindness?" Sienna sneered. "She only gave me hope so she could take it away later. Pulling her investment without warning? She's worse than Mason, that scumbag!"
She deliberately left out the fact that Summer had caught her trying to seduce Fraser, which was why she withdrew her funding.

Laurett frowned. "Is she really that bad? When she came to see your dad that time, she seemed like such a sweet girl. I didn't expect her to be so malicious."
Sienna scoffed. "How could you tell? Women like her are good at hiding their true colors. She looks down on our family We're struggling with rent, dad's medical bills, and all our debts. She knows how hard things are for me, yet she still refuses to help.
Clenching her teeth, Sienna turned to her father. "Dad, we can't just sit around and do nothing. I remember you used to know someone from the Dale family, that equity investment group. Can you reach out to them for me?"
Natelie hesitated for a moment. I do know them, but Philip is a notorious womanizer. I don't want you getting involved with
him."
"Dad, if we don't find money soon, the three of us will end up sleeping under a bridge. I'm just going to ask him for help. Don't worry. I won't do anything reckless."
Isienna would never have considered this path before. But now, hatred, jealousy, and anger twisted inside her like vines, pushing her to do whatever it took to turn her life around.
In one of the most exclusive private rooms at Havenbrook's elite Sonata Bar, Philip lounged on the sofa, his posture relaxed. Beside him sat Sienna, dressed in
a black V-neck slip dress that barely covered her thighs.
He playfully smacked her on the backside. "Go on, pour drinks for the gentlemen."
Suppressing the disgusting feeling rising in her chest, Sienna forced a smile, stood up gracefully, and circled the table to pour drinks for each man.
Her dress was so short that it barely reached the tops of her thighs. As she bent slightly to pour the drinks, glimpses of black fabric flashed beneath the hem.
The room was filled with Havenbrook's most powerful investors, each accompanied by beautiful women attending to them.
One of the venture capital executives took notice, his gaze lingering on the sight. He smirked, took the drink from her, and licked his lips. "Mr. Philip, this beauty is quite the stunner. How do you know her?"
Philip patted his round belly, then casually took off his expensive watch and tossed it straight into Sienna's cleavage. The watch slipped down her dress. "What, you like her? Too bad. This beauty is rhine for the night"
The men in the room exchanged knowing smiles.
Sienna clenched her fists, her entire body tense as she fought back the disgust. The cold metal of the watch against her skin made her want to scream. She told herself that just one night, and she would have the money.
At that moment, the private room door swung open. Fraser walked in casually. He shrugged off his suit jacket and handed it to the waiter before settling into the main seat. The executives inside immediately straightened up to greet him properly.
"Mr. Graham, you're here."
"Now that Mr. Grafiam has arrived, someone should serve him a drink.
Fraser lazily lifted his gaze and glanced at the woman who was about to approach him. His voice was indifferent. "No need." Sienna froze at the sight of Fraser, shame and humiliation crashing over her like a wave,
All the major investors were here tonight. This whole event revolved around the development of Havenbrook's southern district
"Let's get straight to business. I have to be somewhere later, Fraser said as he glanced at his watch. His gaze swept across the room, passing over Sienna without even pausing for a second, as if she were a complete stranger.

She instinctively shifted away from Philip. But Philip wouldn't let her go so easily. He pinched her waist and pulled the watch. out from between her clenched thighs. "What's the matter? Did Mr. Graham distract you?"
The men in the room chuckled. "Too bad. Sienna. Mr. Graham doesn't like to mix business with pleasure
Sienna's face turned an ugly shade of red. She regretted it. If she had known Fraser would be at this meeting, she never would
have come.
Lowering her head, she sneaked a glance at Fraser, who sat alone on the main sofa.
His sharp features, strong jawline, and unbuttoned collar gave him an effortlessly rebellious yet seductive vibe. Without even trying, he exuded an innate nobility and dominance.
Sienna's crushed hopes flickered back to life. A thought came into her mind. Summer is pregnant... and it's not Fraser's. If I use this evidence to tell him, a man as proud as Fraser will definitely be furious. If I comfort him at the right moment, in this kind of suggestive setting who knows? Maybe the man I end up with tonight won't be Philip, but Fraser instead.
The men in the room began discussing business. The conversation centered around the billions needed for the Havenbrook southern district development.
Almost everyone deferred to Fraser, with the Graham Group taking the lead on the project. However, it seemed Philip's interests were also at stake.
