When Shen Qi reached the ground floor, she caught sight of Ye Moxuan’s car. Xiao Su was there and he greeted her when he saw her coming out. “Assistant Shen!”

At first, Shen Qi still treated him rather nicely but because she was not on speaking terms with Ye Moxuan lately, she no longer put on a friendly face at the sight of Xiao Su. She merely gave him a brief glance before walking past him and left.

Rubbing his head, Xiao Su wondered what he had done wrong.

Shortly after that, Ye Moxuan reached the ground floor too. Xiao Su approached him with a smiley face but in the end, Ye Moxuan did not even look at him and just rolled his wheelchair past him.

Have the two bumped into each other and got into an argument again?

On the next day, Shen Qi applied for leave and went to the hospital for a body check-up.

When her medical report was ready, the doctor informed her that she was having fetal malposition and advised her to get more rest and avoid being too tired.

After keeping the doctor’s words in mind, Shen Qi kept away the report and walked out.

When she reached the entrance of the hospital, she suddenly caught sight of someone who looked familiar. She tried to make out the person’s face and found that she was Su Jiu from Han Group. Wasn’t she Han Qing’s secretary? As Shen Qi had a meal with her before, she thought it was appropriate to greet her.

Hence, she walked over and tapped Su Jiu’s shoulder.

Su Jiu turned around and stuttered, “Shen… Qi?”

“It’s really you, Secretary Su.” Shen Qi flashed her a smile. “Why are you here? Are you feeling unwell?”

Su Jiu was surprised to see Shen Qi. After all, she had been gathering information about her lately and she felt her sudden appearance right in front of her somewhat mystical.

“It’s not me.” Su Jiu put on a subtle grin. “It’s President Han.”

Su Jiu could not gauge what kind of feelings Han Qing had toward Shen Qi. Despite asking her to collect information about Shen Qi, President Han had not revealed to her about his purpose of doing so. He appeared to be rather concerned about Shen Qi but it did not seem like his feelings toward her were of a romantic nature.

If it wasn’t romantic, Su Jiu could not understand why Han Qing cared about Shen Qi so much. Is it merely because she is Miss Han Xueyou’s friend?

But he doesn’t care about his own sister that much either…

It’s unreasonable and simply illogical!

Su Jiu could not get the answer even after much speculation. Perhaps… Shen Qi would be able to offer her an answer today.

“President Han?” Shen Qi looked rather shocked. She then asked, “Is he here too?”

“Yes, President Han is feeling unwell so he came here for a check-up. I’m helping him to collect his medicines.”

“I see.” Suddenly, an idea hit Shen Qi as she added, “Your boss has been working too diligently. You have to ask him to take care of his health.”

Su Jiu put on a subtle grin when she heard her. “If President Han himself could hear what Miss Shen has said, I’m sure he would be delighted.”

“What?” Shen Qi was stunned for a moment as she believed she had heard her wrongly.

“Nothing. President Han is just out there so why don’t you come with me and say hi?”

Before Shen Qi had time to think about her offer, Su Jiu had already taken hold of her hand and dragged her outside. She widened her eyes in surprise as she allowed herself to be dragged forward and finally came to her senses when she reached a car.

Su Jiu knocked on the window. As soon as the window was rolled down, Han Qing’s profound eyes just happened to fall on Shen Qi’s face.

“President Han, I’ve bumped into Miss Shen. Could we offer her a ride?”

After she said that, Su Jiu could detect that Han Qing’s eyes had turned somewhat sterner as though he was blaming her for taking it upon herself to invite Shen Qi. Su Jiu bent at her waist slightly, not daring to speak.

Sensing his imposing aura too, Shen Qi cast an awkward glance at Su Jiu before saying softly, “I’m just here to say hi. Since I have to go somewhere nearby to get some of my stuff done, I shouldn’t hitch a ride with President Han. I’ve got to go.”

“Just get in the car.”

Just as Shen Qi was about to turn around and leave, Han Qing’s indifferent voice was heard. Her pace came to a halt as she gaped at him in shock, having no idea what exactly he had in mind.

Seconds ago, he still appeared stern and because of that, Shen Qi did not want to get Su Jiu implicated. However, he had actually asked her to get in the car seconds later.

Knowing that she had guessed her boss’s intention correctly, Su Jiu’s drooping face revealed a faint grin as she urged Shen Qi who was still standing there in a daze. “Miss Shen, please get in the car.”

She helped Shen Qi with the door and only then did Shen Qi come to her senses. Just as she wanted to wave her hands to turn the gesture down, she heard Han Qing utter a word with an icy face, “Speed.”

Su Jiu knew that was the precursor of his oncoming anger. Not daring to delay any further, she straightaway shoved Shen Qi into the car.

Shen Qi was speechless.

Thump!

“Get going.”

The car was driven away from the hospital as Shen Qi, who was forced to get in the car, looked bewildered.

Was she actually hitching a ride?

But she had no idea where they were going.

As the air-conditioning inside the car was adjusted to a very low temperature, Shen Qi thought it was freezing after a while. She was also wearing a sleeveless dress so she could not help but rub her arms as she shrunk into herself.

Han Qing’s eyes landed on her face.

Shen Qi was on pins and needles at once.

The man’s eyes looked very stern. Under his gaze, she felt he was giving off a brother-like feeling and he exuded a domineering aura without getting angry.

He averted his gaze and instructed in an icy voice, “Adjust the air-conditioning to a higher temperature.”

The driver acknowledged his instruction and immediately adjusted the temperature of the air-conditioning. Su Jiu who sat next to the driver was shocked deep down inside when she noticed Han Qing’s actions.

When did Han Qing ever care about the emotions of other people?

Isn’t it always the other way round all these while? It seems like Shen Qi is indeed very important.

“Where are you heading to?” asked Han Qing suddenly. As Shen Qi was in a daze, she was pulled back to reality by his question.

At first, she wanted to tell him that she was going home but she realized that the car was heading in a completely different direction from Ye Residence. She said instead, “I will get down at the junction ahead.”

With a frown, Han Qing asked with slight annoyance, “Are you going to Ye Group?”

Shen Qi replied, “Yes.”

Being at her wit’s end, she could only say so.

“Ha.” Han Qing let out a sneer. “You are dressed casually today. Since you have already hitched a ride, just tell us your destination directly.”

“Exactly, Miss Shen. It doesn’t matter because President Han is on leave today too.”

Shen Qi said, “In that case, please send me to the mall at Xuyin Road. I need to handle some matters there.”

Su Jiu thought of something and said, “The mall is a property owned by Ye Group, you…”

Following a glance from Han Qing, she immediately shut her mouth.

“Go to Xuyin Road.”

“Yes, Mr. Han.”

The driver made a U-turn.

Shen Qi grinned subtly and looked at Han Qing gratefully. “Thank you, President Han.”

Han Qing’s lips moved slightly as though he was about to say something but stopped himself in the end. After a while, he asked instead, “Is Miss Shen very close to Xueyou?”

At the mention of Xueyou, Shen Qi felt the distance between Han Qing and her close up a great deal and the expression on her face became much softer.

“Yes, we are best friends.”

Best friends? Han Qing narrowed his eyes as he pressed on, “How close are you two? Would you girls share secrets with each other?”

Shen Qi was slightly taken aback by his question and she was baffled as to the reason why he was asking. Looking at it from another perspective, she reckoned he was just concerned about his sister. Nodding her head before elaborating, “Yes, we do share secrets with each other. President Han, I know Xueyou just had a reunion with the Han family. She really suffered a lot before that.”

Shen Qi had heard Han Xueyou talk about her brother before and she had revealed that he was treating her rather indifferently. Han Xueyou was also worried that she would be neglected because she only got to reunite with them after some time.

Shen Qi had tried to console Han Xueyou but she had suddenly thrown a tantrum for some reason.

Right now, since Han Qing mentioned his sister, it went without saying that Shen Qi would want to put in some good words for Han Xueyou as she was her best friend.

Han Qing’s eyes turned somewhat gloomier as he did not respond to what she said.

After a short while, he asked, “In that case, do you know basically everything about her and vice versa?”

Although Shen Qi had not the faintest idea as to the reason behind his question, she nodded.

Of course, Han Xueyou and her were inseparable.

Once again, the inside of the car plunged into silence as Han Qing did not talk and Shen Qi had no idea what to say to him.

They maintained in such a state throughout the entire journey up until they reached her destination. When the car stopped, Shen Qi glanced out of the window before expressing her gratitude toward Han Qing. “Thanks for giving me a ride, President Han. Goodbye now.”

Just as she opened the door, lowered her head and bent down in order to alight the car, Han Qing called out to her.

“Miss Shen, may I contact you through social media?”

Shen Qi’s movement froze in midair because of his question, and even Su Jiu could not help but widen her eyes in surprise. After working for him for years, she had never seen him using social media applications.

Right now, he was actually willing to use one for the sake of Miss Shen. Did he even know how to use it?

Han Qing’s request took Shen Qi by surprise and it took her a long while to recover. I suppose he just wants to ask me things about his sister? Only then did she tell him her ID but to her astonishment, Han Qing handed her his phone directly. “Please help me do it.”

Wordlessly, Shen Qi could only take his phone. It felt icy in her hands and she noticed that his account was newly registered. Not daring to snoop around in fear of catching something she was not supposed to see, she then searched for her ID and added herself as a friend using his account before returning it to Han Qing.

“It’s done, President Han.”

“Okay.” Han Qing nodded and kept his phone away.

“In that case… I shall get going. Thanks for the ride.” Only then was she finally allowed to go.

After Shen Qi’s departure, Su Jiu gaped at Han Qing for a long while. She wanted to say something but chose not to do so in the end.

“Do you have any questions?” Han Qing glanced at her.

Su Jiu came to her senses and cleared her throat before asking, “President Han, do you know how to use that app?”

Han Qing was stunned for a brief moment before turning to look at her with his cold eyes. “I’m learning.”

Su Jiu asked, “Do you need help?”

“No, I don’t. I know the basics.”

With that, Han Qing ignored Su Jiu, leaned on his seat and closed his eyes to rest. Su Jiu thought better than to comment further.

Her mind was filled with doubts as Han Qing’s attitude toward Shen Qi was way too bizarre. It was true that he was always looking at Shen Qi but there was not a trace of romantic feelings in his eyes. She literally had zero idea about what was going on with him.

Several days went by and Shen Qi got better and better at managing the mall. At the same time, the celebration for the anniversary of the founding of Ye Group was just around the corner. The staff in charge of it had already started the preparation and therefore, Shen Qi’s department had to help out too.

As a lot of tiring and tedious work needed to be done at the venue of the celebration, a few members from each department would be chosen to help out.

Because Shen Qi had offended Xu Liao prior to this, it went without saying that she was included in the list together with Gao Yun and Cui Minli.

When they reached the venue, the staff in charge ordered them to pump the balloons. Although the three of them came from the same department, Gao Yun and Cui Minli pretty much kept to themselves and gave Shen Qi the cold shoulder.

“I don’t understand Xu Liao. Why didn’t he take care of us considering our relationship with Qiangwei? He has actually sent us here to do all these tiring chores! I wonder what is in his mind.”

Cui Minli was grumbling unhappily as she pumped air into the balloons.

Gao Yun pursed her lips and cast a glimpse at Shen Qi who was standing not far away from them. She was alone while the two of them had each other as company.

At such thought, Gao Yun curled her lips upward. “Perhaps Xu Liao did it on purpose.”

“Did he really do it on purpose? What a jerk!” Cui Minli angrily smashed the balloon at hand toward the pile of balloons on the ground but because they were filled with air, the balloons merely scattered all over the floor without much damage; it was not a good way to vent out anger.

Gao Yun let out a sneer instead. “Why are you so frustrated and angry? Don’t we still have each other?”

“So what? I’m furious that he sent us here for such meaningless chores. Xu Liao has really gone out of his mind. When I get back to the office, I will certainly complain about him to Qiangwei.”

“Cui Minli, are you dumb? Didn’t you hear what I said? Xu Liao sent Shen Qi and both of us here so that we could stay near to her and sabotage her.”

Cui Minli could not understand her. “Huh?”

“What do you mean, huh? Are you really that stupid? Don’t you see? Xu Liao has followed Miss Qiangwei’s instruction and created chances for us.”

After listening to Gao Yun’s explanation, it finally dawned upon Cui Minli. “I see. In that case, should we seize the chance to sabotage her now?”

“There’s no rush. The celebration of the anniversary is still half a month away. We have to come up with something big so that she will know that we are not ones to be trifled with.”

Cui Minli got extremely enthusiastic at the mention of the chance to take revenge on Shen Qi and immediately did everything Gao Yun said.

Time flew and a week went by.

Being the helpers at the venue of the celebration, not only did they have to help with the chores, but they also had to stay under the sun sometimes. Gao Yun and Cui Minli’s skin turned darker by a shade but Shen Qi’s complexion still remained fair and smooth which got everyone green with envy.

Both Gao Yun and Cui Minli were consumed by jealousy.

As for Xu Liao, he was comparing the three girls in his mind and concluded that Shen Qi emerged to be the prettiest among them, and his desire toward her grew even more intense.

Therefore, he made his way to the venue, claiming that he was there to monitor their progress and asked to see Shen Qi.

“Shen, I suppose you’ve worked very hard lately?”

Shen Qi appeared indifferent as she answered, “It was okay.”

Xu Liao took two steps forward, stretched his hand and was about to give her shoulder a pat. Yet, before his hand could even touch her, she had already taken two steps back. “Supervisor, how can I help you?”

“Nothing much. I just wanted to check on you and find out whether you can cope with the work here. If you find it too demanding, you may appeal to me. I have the power to transfer you back to the department.”

Shen Qi snapped, “It’s not necessary. I find the work here still manageable.”

It turned out he had not given up on her at all.

Stunned, Xu Liao then shook his head in resignation and sighed. “Shen, I have come across many girls who are as stubborn as you but they only remained so at the very beginning. You might think that these tough works are acceptable now, but what about in the future? If you were to suffer something like this everyday or something even worse than this by ten or hundred times, would you be able to withstand it? A wise man would choose his actions according to the current situation. Instead of suffering a miserable life full of regret, why don’t you just be with me?”

“Supervisor Xu, you’re joking. It’s human nature to aim high. Although I was demoted, I still have the ambition to achieve better things in life and I really have no interest in you.”

Xu Liao’s face changed as he pointed at her furiously. “Do you think you can still return to the top?! Just how are you going to do that?!”

“By being competent.” With her lips pursed, Shen Qi stared at Xu Liao indifferently before she continued, “No matter how badly I am bound to suffer in the future, it would have nothing to do with you. I hope you will stop pestering me from now onward as I believe romantic relationships among employees are clearly prohibited by the company.

If I’m not mistaken, you’re already married, aren’t you? Seeing that you’re a married man, I could have reported the multiple harassments I’ve experienced as a single lady to the superiors, and by then…”

Xu Liao’s eyes were laden with brutality all of a sudden. “I had no idea you had such a glib tongue. Have you ever thought of whose territory you’re in now? How dare you speak to me so rudely? Aren’t you afraid that I will get you ousted from the Ye Group?”

“When did Supervisor Xu start having such extensive power that actually enables you to get people ousted from the company at your whims and fancies?” Before Shen Qi could speak, a male’s voice which sounded icy was heard.

Shen Qi thought the voice sounded familiar. Before she could respond to the voice, Xu Liao greeted the owner of the voice hastily, “Vice President Ye, why are you here?”

Is it Ye Linhan? At the mention of his name, Shen Qi tensed up and she instinctively felt like avoiding him.

Lately, she had been avoiding him by walking away as soon as she caught sight of him at the office from afar. Every now and then, she would bump into him at Ye Residence but she always pretended she didn’t see him and would always walk away in a different direction. But right now, he had actually visited the venue…

“Xu Liao, who’s the one that granted you the power to randomly fire our employees?”

Being the vice president, although he always treated everyone gentlemanly and politely, once he took something seriously, he would exude a domineering and intimidating aura which was typical in men from the Ye Family.

Xu Liao was so horrified that he bowed down and spoke shakily, “Vice President Ye, I only gave her a warning as I got very angry over how she always loafs around; I wasn’t going to fire anyone.”

“Is that so?” Ye Linhan stared at him unflinchingly. “Was she loafing around or were you threatening her as you failed to induce her into doing something?”

Xu Liao’s forehead was covered with beads of cold sweat as he said with an awkward laugh, “Vice President Ye, I’m sure you’re joking. Why would I induce her into doing anything?”

“Do you think I didn’t catch the conversation between the two of you earlier?”

This time, Xu Liao was lost for words. Both of his legs turned to jelly all of a sudden, thereupon he slumped against the ground and pleaded, “Vice President Ye, it’s purely because my desire got the better of me which made me do such a thing. Please forgive me this time!”

Obviously, Ye Linhan did not feel like talking to him anymore as he gave out a warning in an icy tone, “Listen to me well. Even though she was demoted to your department, it doesn’t mean she is someone you can mess with. Do you understand?”

“I-I understand…” Xu Liao nodded forcefully.

“Now f*ck off.” Shen Qi was surprised because it was the first time she had heard Ye Linhan curse. She then turned to look at his side profile in consternation. His eyes which used to be filled with gentleness were now looking totally different as they were imbued with obvious iciness. Right now, he did not look like his usual self at all.

In that case, was the saying that one’s personality could have many facets actually true? Although Ye Linhan always treated everyone in a very amiable way, there were actually times that he could look so decisive and stern.

Just as she was pondering over it, Ye Linhan turned around and his eyes happened to meet her gaze.

As their eyes met, a thought hit Shen Qi which made her turn around instantly and ready to leave. To her surprise, Ye Linhan caught up to her within a few strides and stopped her. “What on earth have I done wrong that makes you run away at the sight of me?”

Shen Qi found herself unable to answer him. She remained in silence for a while before walking toward her right. Yet, it seemed like Ye Linhan was ready to put up a fight as he followed suit. When Shen Qi walked toward her left, he followed what she did and walked toward his left too. At last, Shen Qi was fed up and was about to dash off. However, her hand was held tightly by Ye Linhan which stopped her from going forward.

“Let me go!” In a fit of panic, Shen Qi tried to shake off his hand. Although the venue was not crowded, it was not without people either and what was more, most of them were employees of the company. If she was seen jostling with Ye Linhan, she was sure a babble of talk would break out soon.

If the rumors reached Ye Moxuan’s ears…

“I will only let you go if you tell me the reason for avoiding me.” In comparison to Shen Qi’s anxiety, both Ye Linhan’s voice and tone sounded steady as though he did not care whether their interaction would be seen by others.

The reason for avoiding him? Shen Qi did not even know how to offer him an answer. Right now, she did not feel like facing him at all as she could not accept that Ye Linhan was the stranger who had claimed her body that night!

“Let go of me！” Shen Qi continued to wiggle her way out of his grasp as though she did not hear his question at all.

Ye Linhan’s hand worked like a heavy iron chain that wrapped around her wrist.

“Is it because I’ve given your mother 300,000 and you feel indebted to me? Is that why you’re avoiding me?”

Shen Qi remained silent as she continued to struggle.

“If that’s the reason, there’s no need to avoid me. It’s because I’ve given the money to your mother without your permission and it has got nothing to do with you. You don’t have to feel stressed over it and I will not ask you to repay the money too.”

Finally, his words caused a stir to her emotion as she looked up and stared at the man in front of her unflinchingly. “Do you really think that is the main reason? Ye Linhan, let go of me.”

Ye Linhan squinted as he noticed that her eyes which usually looked calm were now brimming with confusion and restlessness, and he was baffled by the reason behind it.

“Then what’s the main reason? Tell me!” He started exerting more strength on her wrist.

Shen Qi put on a frown as she groaned, “You’re hurting me!”

Ye Linhan came to his senses and quickly loosened his hold on her wrist. “I’m sorry. I was being too emotional just now. Is your wrist alright?”

Shen Qi seized the chance to shake off his hold and took two steps back. “My hand is fine but I still have a lot of tasks to do. I’ve got to go.” Leaving that sentence behind, she turned around and ran away. Ye Linhan intended to catch up to her but he stayed rooted to the spot instead as he stared at her back in a daze.

Meanwhile, Gao Yun’s face was laden with fury and she clenched her fists when she caught sight of the scene from somewhere not far away.

After taking a glance at her expression, Cui Minli added with some exaggeration, “That girl is so rude. Who does she think she is? She actually has the guts to give Vice President Ye attitude and he actually didn’t get angry at her! Gao Yun, her behavior is totally unacceptable!”

As expected, Gao Yun fancied Ye Linhan—this was a well-known fact among many of them. Not only Gao Yun, but many other girls in the company too had a secret crush on Ye Linhan. After all, he treated everyone nicely, he was the Vice President of Ye Group and he was good-looking. Who would not fall in love with him?

Gao Yun was one of them and she had fancied him for a very long time now. Unfortunately, although he had spoken to her before, he had never taken her seriously.

Right now, at the sight of Ye Linhan being so concerned about Shen Qi, Gao Yun was consumed by jealousy.

“Gao Yun, don’t get angry. I’m sure Vice President Ye wouldn’t be interested in a woman like her. Perhaps he was just discussing work with her earlier, that’s all.”

Yet, Gao Yun bit her lower lip forcefully as she commented, “She is just a nobody. Why would Vice President Ye even be interested in a woman like her?”

“She is just trying to flirt with Vice President Ye. What a b*tch! She’s still not giving up despite having been demoted. I’ll surely teach her a lesson!”

When everyone else was going home after getting their tasks done later at night, Gao Yun suddenly summoned Shen Qi. “Newcomer, I have something to tell you!”

Shen Qi cast a glance at her without saying anything in reply.

“Did you hear me? I’m talking to you.”

Shen Qi flashed her a smile calmly when she heard her. “Do you think I can’t hear you when you’re shouting so loud?”

Gao Yun glared at her as she confronted, “In that case, why are you not responding to me?”

“Don’t you have something to tell me? Make it quick, I’m going home.”

Gao Yun’s anger hit the ceiling and she could not wait to tear her into pieces but she suppressed her fury when she thought of her plan.

“I’m wrong to have done those things to you before. I’m offering my apology to you.”

Shen Qi was stunned and she could not help but raise her brows and took a glimpse at Gao Yun. Gao Yun’s face which was laden with fury came in sight; the rage in her eyes was so intense that Shen Qi felt that she was going to pounce on her and beat her up any minute. With her lips curled upward, Shen Qi said, “Miss Gao, you brought hatred with you to apologize to me, which leads me to think that you’re bearing some deep grudges against me before you spoke.”

“You!”

“To be honest, I don’t care what motive you have in mind but I want to remind you that since we’re all ordinary employees, it will not do you any good to sabotage me. As for your apology, I think it’s not necessary since we don’t see eye to eye with each other.”

With that, Shen Qi turned around and walked away.

When she had left, Cui Minli immediately emerged from a dark corner where she was hiding. “Gao Yun, don’t be angry. Who does she think she is? How dare she refuse to accept your apology? Don’t worry. Even if she doesn’t trust us, we will still have ways to destroy her.”

Time flew and in the blink of an eye, it was already one day before the celebration of the anniversary.

Han Xueyou came to visit Shen Qi.

“I heard that your company is having a dinner to celebrate the anniversary of its founding. Can I go with you as your family?”

Shen Qi said, “There are no precedents for this situation but if you would like to attend, I could help you ask whether you’re allowed to do so.”

Han Xueyou wrapped her arms around her and gave her cheek a peck. “Qi, you’re the best.”

Shen Qi let out a chuckle too. “As long as you’re happy.”

Then, her movement paused for a short while at the thought of her brother, Han Qing.

Things had gotten rather awkward as they had never spoken to each other ever since they became friends on social media. Just as she was hesitating whether to reveal the matter to Han Xueyou, Han Xueyou dragged her to pick a dress.

In fact, Shen Qi planned to just dress casually that night to make herself unnoticeable in the crowd.

Having too many enemies in the company, she thought it best to stay low-profile during the dinner that night.

But she didn’t expect that Han Xueyou would pick a red dress for her.

“Isn’t this too eye-catching? It’s out.” Shen Qi rejected the dress directly.

Yet, Han Xueyou wrapped her arms around her waist and spoke softly, “What are you afraid of? You are Mrs. Ye, so what’s wrong with you being outstanding at the dinner? With your status, do you even have to worry about not being worth the limelight?”

“But… I really can’t.”

No one in the company knew she was Ye Moxuan’s wife.

Moreover, she and Ye Moxuan were about to get a divorce and therefore, she could not be counted as his wife too.

“It’s fine. If you’re only bothered by the price, I’ll buy it as a gift for you.” Han Xueyou shoved her into the fitting room and forced her to try the dress.

Shen Qi stood inside the fitting room with the red dress in her hands. With resignation, she removed her own clothes and put it on. “Huh? It’s not necessary! I can drive myself home.” Han Xueyou was overwhelmed by his favor.

After receiving Ye Moxuan’s instruction, Xiao Su took a step forward and offered, “Miss Han, just let me send you back.”

Only then did Han Xueyou hand the keys to him. “Thanks, Assistant Xiao.”

“No worries. Since Miss Han has sent Second Young Lady back home, as Young Master Ye’s assistant, it’s part of my job to give Miss Han a ride,” said Xiao Su with a smile after he took the keys over.

Shen Qi thought of Han Xueyou’s question so she asked Yan.

After knowing that she was allowed to bring her family along, Shen Qi’s mood lifted a great deal.

Following that, Shen Qi invited Yan to do makeup together with Han Xueyou tomorrow before heading to the venue of the celebration.

Just as Shen Qi was getting ready to sleep after she reached a consensus with Yan, she received a new message coming from someone on her friends list. It was someone having a profile picture which looked unfamiliar to her.

“Have you prepared your dress for the event tomorrow?”

Shen Qi gave her surroundings a scan and found that she was sleeping on the floor in her own bedroom.

“How did you…”

“I came here earlier as I’m rather free today. Mr. Ye let me in and Young Master Ye also has agreed to it.”

Did Ye Moxuan agree to let her in? Shen Qi started searching for him in the bedroom.

“Stop looking around. He’s not in here.”

Shen Qi let out a sigh of relief when she heard her. Just as she sat upright and was about to get changed, Han Xueyou stealthily got closer to her and asked, “Don’t you and Ye Moxuan sleep together?”
