In a dark room, Shen Qi was lying alone on a big soft bed, barely covered under the quilt.

Tonight was her wedding night with the Ye Family’s Second Young Master.

This voice… Shen Qi looked over to the source of the voice to see Xiao Su pushing Ye Moxuan over; the latter was sitting in a wheelchair with a thin blanket covering his legs.

Although he was sitting in a wheelchair, he still looked like a proud king.

His eyes were cold, and his gaze fell sharply on Shen Qi’s face like a blade.

Meeting his icy stare, Shen Qi couldn’t help but shiver.

Only then did she realize that she was still in Ye Linhan’s arms. Immediately, she quickly took two steps backward to keep a distance from him before lowering her head guiltily.

“Moxuan, it’s rare to see you at home.” Ye Linhan smiled at his younger brother.

Ye Moxuan looked at her sarcastically and said, “Sure.”

Shen Qi was a little surprised because she thought he would refuse.

Ye Moxuan sat on the wheelchair expressionless while Xiao Su nodded and said, “Old Master Ye, then we’ll go to the company first.”

Xiao Su informed her of the route without any expression and then shut the car coldly.

Ye Moxuan’s icy eyes glanced at the petite figure standing at the gate through the rearview mirror for a moment before retracting his gaze.

A moment later, he thought of something and said, “Any news regarding the woman I’ve asked you to look for?”

Regarding this matter, Xiao Su replied apologetically, “Young Master Ye, there wasn’t any CCTV on that road, and it was raining heavily that day; the night was too dark to see the passersby clearly. But if you give me a little more time, I believe we can find her.”

Sitting in his wheelchair, Ye Mo Xuan’s black eyes were frightening, and his body exuded a strong aura. “F*ck off!” he said through his thin lips.

“Y-You!” The woman was so upset her fingertip started trembling. “Ye Moxuan, who do you think you are? If you are not the Second Young Master of the Ye Family, do you think I’d even bat an eye at you? You’re a cripple! Do you really think so highly of yourself? How dare you keep refusing me?”

Being insulted as a handicap, Ye Moxuan’s eyes suddenly became cold and violent.

Looking at the woman who was still pointing at her, Shen Qi said through gritted teeth, “Get lost now! Or should I ask the security guard to pick you up and throw you to the streets?” She pretended to take out her mobile to call the security guard.

Ye Moxuan didn’t answer, though his aura became strong and forceful. He then sneered and teased, “It seems that you’re really trying to mess with me.”

Shen Qi pursed her lips. “I don’t want to be your assistant as well, but this is your grandfather’s wishes.”

“Are you using him to threaten me?” His deep voice sounded dangerous.

“Why would I? I’m a victim too. Can’t we compromise on this?”

Shen Qi noticed that the office was quite messy; some documents were even scattered on the ground. It must be the work of that woman who just left. With this in mind, she squatted down to pick up the documents and place them on the desk after finishing.

Ye Moxuan looked at this series of actions, and his eyes turned sinister.
