Ch. 256..260: Rebirth_ Dancing In My Destiny Chapter 256-260
Chapter 256: Hot And Wild
Rose was confused because last night, Evan said he would bring her to the romantic place to have lunch. And this place is not romantic at all. There were also no special events that she had imagined beforehand. This amused her because she had high hopes for Evan to surprise her like he usually did.
Soon Rose settled on the sofa overlooking the vast blue sea outside. While Evan goes to the bar to prepare wine for them.
Rose took that opportunity to check her cell phone. She was shocked to see many new messages in her office group chat. She nearly forgot she had other responsibilities.
In a hurry, she read the group chat, but after scrolling, she was speechless. These guys just talk about random things. In fact, the chat group was created for communication about work. Still, in the last few weeks, since she left for her honeymoon, these guys have been talking a lot more about unimportant things, nothing to do with their work. Gosh!
After closing her office group chat, she saw a new incoming message from Noah. Instantly a broad smile appeared on her face as she read the text.
[Noah] Sister, how is Aunt Molly’s condition? I want to visit her, but I’m afraid my presence there will attract people’s attention (Sad Icon)
[Rose] Mom is developing well. The doctor says she will wake up soon. I’ll let you know if there’s any new progress.
[Rose] Brother... Can we meet? There’s something I want to talk to you about.
[Noah] I’m in East City right now. Will be back in a few days. Let’s meet after that. I’ll call you when I arrive in the capital...
[Rose] Alright. I will follow your schedule....
Suddenly Rose could feel a sharp glare. Hastily she excused herself to Noah’s brother and looked in his direction. She was surprised, looking at her husband standing beside her; his face did not look calm. In his hand were two glasses of wine.
"Hubby! Why are you standing there? Come here, sit with me..." Rose smiles as she throws her cellphone into her bag.
"Waah... you also allow me to drink wine?"
"Hmm... drink a little while waiting for our lunch...." Evan said as he sat beside her and handed her the wine glass.
"Who did you text just now?" Evan was curious because he saw his wife typing something on her cellphone with a beaming face. She looked so happy talking with someone. He felt like someone rubbed his face with lemon. Damn!
"Brother Noah. He asked about my mom’s condition..."
"Oh, Noah Stone!? I didn’t expect you to be so close to the superstar..." His tone sounds calm but not his heart. He was not happy to know how close they were.
"Yes! I told you before, didn’t I!??" Rose frowns, looking at Evan. "Me and Brother Noah grew up together. I already thought of him as my older brother." She drank her wine before continuing her words. "Evan, you are very kind. Let me drink this wine. Mmm... were you afraid I could lose myself here if I drink too much?"
Rose knows she can only stand to drink two glasses of wine. After that, she will forget everything.
Evan’s mind was filled with images of his drunken wife as they headed to Florence. Even though he wanted to see her like that, but not now.
He didn’t have the confidence to hold back his lust. He probably devoured his wife here. They will have trouble making love here, right!?
"Wifey, you can only drink a glass..."
Rose chuckled. She knew it. After returning from their honeymoon, Evan forbade her to drink wine. If she wants to drink, Evan ensures she will drink when he is around, and she can only have 1 glass, not more.
"Do you want more?" Evan asks.
Rose nods in a hurry. Of Course, she wanted more, especially when her mind was worried about her mother’s condition. She wanted to divert her frantic mind and heart. Enjoy this moment for a while before returning to reality, waiting again until her mother awakens.
"Sorry to say... you can’t get your second glass of wine, my dear." Evan paused for a slight chuckle when he saw her disappointment flash through her eyes. "But..."
Rose eyes delight hearing there’s a ’but.’ She blinked several times, looking at him.
"You can finish a bottle once we are in our house...." Evan looks forward to his drunken wife taking the initiative to seduce him. His pretty wife will definitely look very hot and wild.
"Yay... Hubby, you must keep your promise, alright!?" Rose giggled happily.
Little did this innocent Rose know her husband had a hidden agenda.
When their lunch was served, Rose was surprised when she saw a variety of seafood that aroused her taste. As usual, she quietly eats while Evan tries to make her turn into a pig; not even a second did he leave her plate empty.
"Hubby! You should eat too...."
"I’m already full!"
"What!? Do you only eat a little? How could you make me eat all of this? I will turn into a sluggish pig if I gain more weight!"
"It’s okay! I still love you, wifey. Don’t worry... your husband will never look at another woman out there even if you gain weight. But... something you should do; you should improve your stamina."
Rose paused to eat her grilled lobster when she heard his last words. She tilted her head so she could see the look in his eyes. "What do you mean?" She asked.
Evan frowned. Confused by her question.
"You ask me to improve my stamina?" Rose explained.
"Ah! That’s for our night activity...." A meaningful smile adorns his face.
Rose was utterly confused, looking at his smile. But a second later, her throat felt dry when she realized what he meant.
Gosh! This beast... How could he say she needs to improve her stamina? Yet all this time, she had already tried everything to match his passionate and lustful lovemaking.
Rose could only glare at him. She didn’t want to speak about it, afraid this man would tease her even more.
Chapter 257: Would Father Allow It?
"Are you guys finished?" Suddenly Aidan entered the room. "Sister-in-law, how does the food I cooked taste? Did you like it?"
Rose and Evan were surprised when Aidan appeared in the room.
"Mr. Aidan, thank you for the food. It’s really delicious. I like it. The best seafood I’ve ever found in this city...."
"Wow! Thank you, sister-in-law. That’s a huge compliment I heard today..." Aidan said. He sat opposite them casually. "Sister-In-Law, you can call my name Aidan or brother. Well, I’m older than you, and your husband is also my buddy, so you can casually address and talk to me...."
Rose nodded in agreement. Somehow, she felt comfortable chatting with Aidan because he has a bright personality. After a few times talking to him, she could guess this man was also funny.
"Evan... what time will the boys come?"
"In a few hours, I guess. I can’t join you guys as planned because I have to return to the hospital. My father-in-law is waiting for us...."
Evan felt sorry for not being able to wait for the others even though he was the one who arranged this meeting. He had arranged this gathering to get together with his friends and officially introduce his wife to them. But, after knowing his wife couldn’t stay long, he can’t help but cancel to join them.
There was disappointment in Aidan’s eyes at Evan’s words, and Rose caught that expression. Instantly she felt terrible. Because of her, Evan couldn’t join his best friend.
"Oh! So they’re still coming?" Aidan asks. He had waited for this opportunity to come, to spend time with them, but it looked like the gathering would fail again today as always. Lately, meeting all of them in one place and at one time together has been challenging because a few lived in different cities.
"Yes, they will come... including the younger ones, who have just arrived from Europe, so you better take care of him!" Evan stood up from his seat. "Alrighty then, I will go now. Send my regards to the others!"
Soon Rose and Evan were in their car heading to the hospital.
"Hubby, you can return to the restaurant to meet your friends after dropping me at the hospital. But make sure you get to the hospital before dinner. My dad wants to have dinner with us...."
Rose still felt bad because Evan couldn’t meet his friends. This guilt slightly bothered her, especially when Aidan’s look of disappointment appeared in her mind.
If only Evan had told her they would spend time with his friends, she’d have told her father she wouldn’t be back until dinner. However, because there was no information from Evan, she immediately agreed to her father’s request.
"It’s fine, wife. We can meet them later. They’ll all stay in this city for a few weeks, so we can meet them any time within those few weeks."
"Are you sure you’re okay?"
"Yeah! To be honest with you, I also want to see your mother’s condition. I haven’t seen her since yesterday. You said she is improving a lot?"
"Hmm, My dad says mom’s condition has been getting better since yesterday..."
But, even though her father always said that Rose was still restless and hoped to hear good news from the hospital. Her anxiety was evident from the frequent times she checked her cell phone.
There were many things Rose wanted to say to her mother. Especially about the presence of her father and the Spencer family.
"That’s good news! Mom will definitely wake up soon." Evan smiles as he glances at her. "Wife, if mom gets out of the hospital, she can stay with us at our house at the Misty mountain. She needs more time to heal, and the mountains perfectly suit her healing."
Rose was taken aback hearing Evan’s words. She hadn’t thought about it.
What’s on her mind right now? She doesn’t want his mother to return to East City. A few days ago, she asked aunty Nora to pack all her mother’s stuff. In a few days, she will send someone to pick up all of them and deliver them to her mom’s house in Little Heaven.
But after hearing what Evan said, she now felt worried about letting her mother live alone. Even though there would be nurses and housekeepers, she still couldn’t bear to let her alone there. She will accompany her until she is healed.
And Evan’s idea made her change her plan; She will bring her mother to live with them for a while.
But something is bothering her now. Would her father allow it?
Rose was silent for a while before answering Evan.
"Thank you, hubby, for the idea. I wish mom would live with us for a while too. But I guess my dad will not allow that to happen. He will definitely take care of mom. Yesterday, my dad said he had already prepared the document to register their marriage...."
Evan slightly chuckled. He can guess that. "Looks like my father-in-law can’t wait any longer to marry your mother."
"Yes, totally correct!"
Rose smiled as she remembered when her father said he wanted to issue the marriage registry even though her mother was still in a coma. But she asked him to be patient. Wait until her mother wakes up.
"Evan, I still can’t believe I will become a Spencer. Ah, my dad also told me he will arrange for someone to change my last name..." Rose told Evan about her worries; Will this name change affect her company? Because when registering, she used her old name.
"No problem. Your father has capable people who can solve everything. Just tell him about your company or any important document you have now." Evan paused to remember her bank in Switzerland. "But, about your Swiss bank account, no need to tell him. I will arrange everything after you legally change your name."
Rose felt relieved and happy because she was surrounded by influential people. So, she didn’t have to worry about the administrative process. How different her world is now from her previous life.
Chapter 258: Provoked (1)
Nicholas was out of sight when Rose and Evan arrived at Molly’s wardroom. Only Doris and two nurses were chatting in the seating area inside the VVIP wardroom.
"Rose, you finally come...." Doris smiles at her daughter-in-law and son as she stands from her seat. "Daughter, your father asked me to stand by here. He went out back at Spencer’s house to see your Grandpa. He said he will be back soon."
"Yes, mother. My father had called me before I came here..."
"Alright, I will excuse myself because you guys have come." She still has a few pending works she has to settle. But before she left, suddenly she remembered something. "Rose, can I borrow your husband? There’s something I want to discuss with him."
"What is it, mother? Can you just say it here?" Evan felt reluctant. He just wanted to spend his time with his wife.
"It’s about business." Dorris smiled at Rose when she saw her nod. "Hurry up, son... I’m still having another surgery!" She said as she left the room, followed by two nurses.
"Hubby, Go! Maybe there’s something important that mother wants to discuss with you." Rose urges Evan to follow his mother. But before he walked, she suddenly remembered their room arrangement for tonight. "Hubby, that is our room. You can use the room for work or rest. I will accompany my mother for a while until My dad returns..."
"Hmm... I’ll come to you soon." Evan kissed her forehead and walked briskly after her mother. Although he felt reluctant but deep down, he was also curious. This is rare for his mother to act like this. It must be something bothering her.
After escorting Doris and Evan to the door, Rose immediately went to the treatment room. She saw her mother’s face brightened, much different from when she left her this morning. Her lips also started to turn rosy. She could see someone applying something to her lips. It makes her lips not as dry as before.
A faint smile appeared as she pictured her father doing that.
"Gee, dad! You are too sweet to make sure your lover looks beautiful!" Rose silently speaks to herself.
Soon she made sure her mother’s blanket was uncluttered, and then she sat on the chair beside the bed.
"Mommy, you look pretty today. I think your Nick will fall in love with you, even more. So, before someone steals your Nick, you need to wake up. I can’t hold your Nick for so long, mom..." Rose chuckled at the thought of her father being chased by many women out there.
"And... Mom, you won’t believe who I met last night! Your Nick... Well, I call him dad now. He introduced me to my grandfather, my uncle, and my aunt. They also come to visit you. But what to do!? You were still in sleep mode when they came. Why do you sleep too long, mom? You’re supposed to say hello to them, right?" Rose took a deep breath, feeling sad again.
After a few seconds of dealing with her sadness...
Rose’s eyes caught The Hobbit, a book she read to her mother whenever she was with her.
Her mother always read the book to her. Rose hopes that reading this book will make her mother feel nostalgic and can make her wake up soon.
Without looking at her mother, Rose starts to read the book.
When Rose took the book, she didn’t notice Molly’s hand moving, and her eyes slowly opened.
Molly faintly heard a familiar voice from her only daughter, Rose. She slowly tried to open her eyes, but the dazzling light made her eyes feel hurt. Molly wanted to raise her hand to block the shining light, but her hand felt so heavy. She can’t move it at all.
Then, in an instant, Molly’s mind was filled with something terrible happening to her before the darkness engulfed her;
Molly looked surprised to see a middle-aged woman standing on the stairs. She seems to block her way to going upstairs, her house.
The dim light prevented Molly from seeing clearly. Still, she felt the woman’s malicious stare could make her alert, worried this woman would harm her.
Instantly she regretted asking her staff to go home first. If only she had heard them, she wouldn’t be in an awkward situation like now; someone was blocking her way to her house, and there were only the two of them in the place.
Trying to be calm. Molly walked closer to the woman. Maybe that woman is someone lost and needs help. However, when they were so close, and she could see more clearly, her body instantly turned frosty when she realized she was in big trouble.
How could this woman appear here? And why on earth is she blocking her way?
"Ms. Moses? What are you doing here!? Why are you still here after I told you that your child matter has nothing to do with my daughter? With Me..." Molly’s tone was soft and calm. But her hand forms into fists as she holds her anger.
Molly felt her anger building up and hit the top of her head. But she tried not to express it, worrying about provoking this evil woman.
Although this woman was so evil and a little bit crazy, deep down, Molly felt sympathy for her. As a mother, she dared not speak harshly to her who had just lost her child. She was a mother and could feel the pain this evil woman was going through.
But after a few times, this evil woman bothered and hurt her. Molly couldn’t stay still. She was forced to report this woman to the police.
But why hasn’t this woman been arrested by the police yet?
"Slut! Your bitch daughter is the cause of all this. If only she didn’t report my son, he would still be alive and healthy. But now? My handsome and beloved Dustin had died. And what makes me even angry is, you dare to report me to the police? How dare you?"
Molly was taken back hearing how sinister her tone was.
Chapter 259: Provoked (2)
Molly’s heart began to beat faster.
She could sense danger approaching. It made her mind think quickly to find an exit from facing this evil and dangerous woman. She would not allow this woman to vent her anger at her. Not today. Molly’s feeling was still hurting from this woman’s insulting words a few days ago.
She couldn’t stand it when she heard this evil woman speak ill of her daughter. If it happened again, they might end up hurting each other.
"You slut Wilson! You have the same nature as your daughter. Bitch! You gave birth to your daughter out of wedlock. How can you be allowed to exist in this beautiful world? How could society allow you and your bitch daughter to seduce every man you meet? If my son didn’t meet your bitch daughter, he would still be alive now! You two are sluts! You and your daughter ruin my family!"
Molly is utterly mad. These Evil Woman insulting words were like a blow to her head. She could feel someone had pulled a plug in her brain. She couldn’t contain her anger after hearing this evil woman cursing her daughter. Not anymore. She won’t.
How could this evil woman blame her daughter?
It’s not Rose’s fault she was born without a father!
No one should insult her daughter like that.
"Sonya Moses! I will not tolerate you insulting my Rose anymore. And you will not intimidate me. I will ensure the police keep you in jail for as long as possible. I pray that you will end up in prison like your son!" Molly’s voice trembled. This was the first time she had said such harsh words to anyone. It felt weird, but somehow she felt her heart felt better. Much better.
"I will call the police. Let them catch you!" She continues. Then dial the detective number who took care of this case. But before saying anything, she felt that evil woman marching toward her with a sharp dagger in her hand.
Instantly Molly’s body froze. She couldn’t move at all, as if something chained her feet. Her eyes stared intently at the deadly grin that framed the evil woman’s face. Molly struggles to free herself to dodge that Evil Woman but she can’t.
The woman was getting close, and before she could control her body to avoid it, the cold, sharp dagger stabbed her right chest. At first, she is shocked to see a metal thrust through her skin. Then, within seconds, the unspeakable pain took over her. Only the sound of a howl of pain escaped her throat.
She raised her hand to hold that dagger, but that evil woman didn’t give her a chance to be free.
"Hahaha... I will not give you a chance to do that, slut!" The woman’s eerie voice is like a wake-up call to Molly. With her last hope, she pushed her so hard. But the paint on her chest is killing her nerves. Her knees limp. Just before she crumbled down, that evil woman grabbed her hand to not fall as she forced the dagger to go deeper. Another wave of paint swallows her. Her eyes felt blurry as her tears began to fall.
"I will kill you, bitch! Then I will find your daughter and kill her too!"
"H-Help, somebody, please help me! I need help!" It felt like Molly couldn’t stand the pain in her chest any longer. With her remaining strength, she shouted as loudly as possible, hoping someone would hear. This is her last option because the woman before her didn’t look like a human anymore. Her eyes looked red like a demon possessed her. Whatever she said at this time, this evil woman would not hear. She needs help.
"HELP! PLEASE!!" Molly shouted again while trying to break free from her firm grip.
Molly couldn’t believe this woman had the strength to hold her. Or is she the one who was getting weaker?
"Tsk! You stupid slut! Did you know this area is empty? I studied this place for a few days, and in an hour like this, no one would pass by. No one will rescue you! And did you know the man who resides in the cafe upstairs is also out of town? He will not come to rescue as he usually did!" She said and pulled the dagger so hard.
Molly screams in pain. Instantly she fell. Her head started to feel hazy when the smell of fresh blood filled her scent. In just a second, her eyes were blurry.
Meanwhile, at the police station...
Detective Allan is surprised to receive a call from Molly Wilson. He was shocked when he heard what Molly was saying on the phone.
Instantly he jolted from his seat and made a sign for his subordinate to follow him. He raced to his car when he overheard the conversation between Molly and the woman they were looking for, Sonya Moses.
Shit! They were careless because they didn’t place someone to guard Molly’s house. They thought that women would never appear in that place again.
Allan glanced at his watch. He felt worried because the distance between his office and Molly’s residence was about 15 minutes by car. He was thinking fast to find a backup that could help Molly, and Jamie Stone, the man who had accompanied Molly when she reported the case, came to mind.
He immediately asked his subordinates to call Jamie Stone. That man should be able to help Molly because she lives right under Molly’s house. At least he could help them to buy some time.
A few minutes later, his subordinate whispered to him, "Capt, Mr. Jamie Stone is 10 minutes away from there. But, he will try to arrive as fast as possible...."
Suddenly, Allan’s heart hardened to know Jamie was not at home.
"Drive faster! You can pass a red light if no one passes. This is a critical situation involving one’s life!" Allan instructed his other subordinates. Then, he turned his attention back to listening to the conversation on the phone.
Chapter 260: Provoked (3)
"Slut! You are so weak! How could you die only taking one stab from me? Well, I won’t let that happen. I will torture you like your daughter tortures my son!"
Even though Molly’s vision was blurry due to the tears flowing down from the corner of her eyes, she could still see the evil woman crouching right in front of her. Molly’s eyes stared in horror with hatred for the evil woman. She wanted to fight back, but the wounds on her body were so excruciating that they felt hurt to the bone.
This is my end. This evil woman doesn’t stop here; she will definitely torture me!
Molly can see the evil woman’s hand slowly raise and place the bloody dagger on her cheek; her blood scent fills her smell. She was really angry at herself for being helpless. If she had just run away, she wouldn’t be in this situation. But it’s too late! Now her regret only made the pain in her chest hurt even more.
"W-Why you do this to me?! Please just let me go...." Molly’s voice slowly weakened just as her consciousness started to fade. She knew her precious life would end today in this evil woman’s hands.
"Slut! You know what? Before, I was just planning to hurt your face. But, I changed my mind the moment I saw you. I decided to end your life today. Bitches!" She raises her dagger and stabs Molly once more in her abdomen.
A long howl escaped Molly’s mouth when another paint hit her. "Please, Ms. Moses... Please stop. If this is my fault, I will apologize to you. But please stop torturing me."
"Shut up!! SLUT!" Once again, she pulled out her dagger, causing blood to flow out of Molly’s body. "Stop saying anything! You make me even angrier!"
"I’m sorry..." Molly couldn’t finish her words because, at that moment, another stab landed on her body. She can’t hold it anymore. The pain is really killing her, and she can feel her blood drain from her body. Her eyes became even more blurry. Slowly the dark swallows her. She couldn’t see any light. Only the darkness surrounded her.
God! For my last prayer, please grant it. I won’t ask you to save me from this situation, but I want to ask you to save my daughter. Don’t let this evil woman do this to my innocent Rose. Please protect her, love her.
"Bitch? Slut? Are you still there? Hahaha, you are such a weakling!"
Molly faintly heard Sonya Moses cursing her and her daughter, but in short, she heard nothing. See nothing. She could only smell the strong scent of blood. Felt her whole body wet and cold.
God! Am I dead?
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Nick!?
Suddenly she heard a sound like someone said, Nick. The name that is firmly attached to her heart.
Who called that name?
Even though she was surrounded by darkness. The fear that previously made her legs heavy to step out of place slowly disappeared when the name ’Nick’ sounded faintly in the distance.
Molly stood up and slowly walked through the darkness. She followed the voice she heard from a distance. The further she walked, the clearer the woman’s voice became and the more familiar she was with that voice. Her heart began to beat faster, too excited to hear her daughter’s voice.
With all her strength, she ran until she finally saw a small dot. A silver light. Her steps were getting faster. She ran. But, the distance is too far away. She didn’t give up! In one last effort, Molly screams silently at herself; Run, Molly! Run!
She had forgotten how long she had been running until she finally got so close to the light. The dazzling silver light hurt her eyes. In hurry, she closed her eyes.
Is this in heaven?
Molly tries to open her eyes once more just to make sure where she is now. After a few seconds of struggling to adjust her vision, she saw a white ceiling. And she clearly hears her daughter’s voice telling her something she didn’t understand; Father. Nick. Steal her, Nick.
What was her daughter trying to say?
Then she heard her daughter saying many words like she was reading something. It makes her even more confused.
Was her poor daughter Rose also killed by that evil woman?
God!! Why did you let that woman kill her?
Instantly she felt her blood rushing all over her body.
Slowly she tilted her head to look in her daughter’s direction. She was shocked when her eyes landed at her pretty daughter sitting with her eyes staring at the Hobbit book in her hands. She knows that book was the book she usually read to her.
From the corner of her eye, she could see the medical device she usually sees in the hospital.
What! I’m not in heaven with my daughter, but we are in hospital.
God, am I still alive? For real?
Molly was shocked when she saw so much weird stuff on her chest and neck. Not only that, but something is also covering her nose. Only her eyes are not covered by something, she guessed.
"Da-daughter..." Molly tried to call her daughter, but her voice didn’t come out of her throat. Instead, she felt her throat hurt when she swallowed.
No matter how hard she tried to scream, her voice caught her throat. She tried to move her hand and body, but her muscles seemed to leave her. She couldn’t move. She was helpless. She could only cry to endure the pain she felt in her body, particularly her chest and abdomen.
Rose is drowning in the book she is reading loudly for her mother...
[When Bilbo opened his eyes, he wondered if he had; it was just as dark as the shut. No one was anywhere near him. Just imagine his fright! He could hear nothing, see nothing, and he could feel nothing except the stone of the floor...]*
She pauses, reading the Chapter like something hit her mind reading Bilbo wakes up in the darkness.
"This!? Mommy, is this how you feel right now?" She quietly murmurs.
Her mind wandered. Her mother must have been lost and didn’t know how to escape that darkness. That’s why until now, she is experiencing this eternal sleep.
Thinking about that could make her heart tighten. Felt sad when she imagined her mom’s fright.
Slowly Rose lifted her head, looking at her mother, only to meet her mother staring back at her. She froze.
