Ch. 306..310: Rebirth_ Dancing In My Destiny Chapter 306-310
Chapter 306: How Could She Know?
Meanwhile, a jet landed smoothly at the Collins family’s private airport.
Not long after, Evan Collins emerged from inside the jet. With wide, fast steps, he descended and walked straight towards the SUV parked near the plane. Behind him was Gavin and a young man wearing an oversized black hoodie followed him.
Before getting into the car, Evan turned to look at Oscar and Gavin, "Oscar, you can go back to your apartment with Gavin. And, Tomorrow morning, come to the Misty Mountains..."
"Wow! Boss, so tomorrow I can meet my sister-in-law?"
Oscar was very excited. It had been a few weeks since he had arrived in this country, but he had yet to meet his boss’s wife. Some time ago, they made an appointment, but for some reason, suddenly, his boss and sister-in-law canceled the meeting.
"Sure!" Evan did not linger at the airport. He immediately rushed home.
Evan was driving alone towards the house with an uneasy feeling. How could he not keep his promise to his wife?
When Evan’s car pulled up in front of the house, he saw Paul standing waiting for him at the door.
"Young master..." Paul greeted as he walked over to his master.
"Paul! Where’s my wife?" Evan asked.
"Young madam, sleep after dinner..." He followed Evan from behind to the house.
"Okay! You can go back now, Paul... it’s too late." Evan looked at his watch and was annoyed that it was past midnight. He could not accompany his wife for the night. Though he had promised beforehand that he would be with her.
He can’t leave Nova city because he has to meet with the local special forces and police who will investigate the case. They provide a lot of classified information to help the authorities.
In addition, he and his people did not altogether leave the case to them. Still, they continued to monitor and move behind.
Since time is running out, if his prediction is correct, this act of terror will still continue. There are still some places that will be targeted by terrorists. But until now, his team has not found the exact location. They only get information about which city is the target of the subsequent explosion.
"Young master, wait..."
Evan stops his step, "What is it, Paul?" seeing Paul’s worried face makes him worry.
"It’s about a young madam, last night she had no appetite...she ate very little," Paul explained.
Evan didn’t say anything to Paul. He just nodded and walked quickly to the second floor, feeling guilty for not keeping his promise to have dinner with her.
He did not see his wife sleeping on the bed when he reached the room.
"Where is she going?"
Seeing that the bed linen was still neat, no trace of anyone sleeping on it, made him worry. He walked to the bathroom but didn’t find his wife there either.
Instantly tension enveloped him. He took out his phone and walked out of the bathroom. However, he was even more worried when he heard the phone’s sound from the sofa.
Where is she going? She even leaves her phone...
Evan frowned at the phone in his hand. Before long, he remembered something. She quickly walked to his wife’s home office. When he opened the door, he was astonished to see his wife sitting at the table with her head lying on the table. She is sleeping.
The worry slowly disappeared from his face, replaced by a faint smile that graced his face.
He stood near his sleeping wife. He watched her snow-white-looking face partially covered by her hair for a moment. He slowly bent down to smooth her hair while kissing her cold cheek.
"My dear... why are you sleeping here, huh!?" Evan spoke quietly, worried that she might wake up.
Slowly he tried to move her to the room. But before he could pick her up, his eyes fell on the note on the table that caught his attention.
"This!?"
Before he took the note, at the same time, the laptop screen turned on. For a moment, he saw what was on the laptop screen. With just a glance, Evan knew immediately what his wife was doing.
What he saw now took him by surprise.
Why was his wife able to get complete information about the case of a terrorist attack that occurred in Nova city?
So from the morning, she knew what really happened.
Evan looked at his wife’s face. She looked so peaceful in her sleep despite sleeping in an uncomfortable position.
Countless questions appeared in his mind. Why is his wife investigating this? And how did she get all these classified reports?
Evan ponders for a while until Oliver’s face appears in his mind. "Damn you, Oliver! Why did you send all of this to my wife?" Evan couldn’t help but scold Oliver in his mind.
Looks like he has to meet Oliver. The man shouldn’t stress his wife out.
Then, another question appeared in his mind; Why does she need this report?
Was she a member of such an organization? Not! Impossible. He knew very well who Rose was and who her friends were. There’s no way she was a member of a secret organization, right?
Evan put his curiosity aside and moved his wife into the bedroom. After he made sure she slept comfortably. He turned off the bedroom light and returned to Rose’s office.
He reads the note she wrote. He was confused about what she wrote for a moment until his eyes finally read the list of 5 cities; Nova City, Ice Island, Alto City, East City, and Fort City.
What is this!? Why is this list of city names the same as his list?
According to his intelligence, there would be 4 more cities targeted by terrorists. However, until now, he didn’t know exactly where the bomb would explode.
However, when his eyes saw the small text next to the city name, his knees went weak.
"Wife, how could you know about all of this?"
Chapter 307: Being Ignored
"Good morning, my beautiful wife."
Rose was surprised to hear Evan’s voice near her ear as soon as she opened her eyes. She tilted her head towards the voice.
"H-Hi, good morning..." Rose’s hoarse voice sounded low. "What time were you home?" Rose turned to face the shirtless Evan. When their eyes locked with each other, somehow she felt melted.
This man never fails to warm her heart, even with just a simple loving gaze. Her heartbeat beats faster as his hand begins to caress her cheek.
"I arrived after midnight. And I found you asleep on your desk. You looked so tired in your sleep. And that makes me worry." Evan took a deep breath as he looked into her hazel eyes, which looked surprised. He continued, "My wife, in this house, only your husband needs to work hard, not you. You don’t need to push yourself too hard. I promise you that I will provide everything you need...."
Rose felt happy hearing his words. Yet she tried to avoid his loving gaze. And just then when she realized that her clothes were different from what she remembered, she was now wearing her nightgown.
"Did you change my clothes while I was sleeping?"
"Yes, I did..."
Rose’s face reddened at the thought of Evan taking off her clothes. Starting from her blouse, and pants, then her u-n-d-e-r-w-e-a-r-s.
Her heartbeat raced.
D-Did Evan do anything other than change her clothes?
"Oh my God! Rose, what do you think?" She scolded herself as her sultry thoughts tried to fill her mind again.
Rose cleared her throat, throwing away what was on her mind. "Hubby, why are you working so late?" She looked into his eyes again.
"I had important business in another city, so I flew there..."
"Ah, no wonder it was difficult for me to contact you."
"What about you? Why did you fall asleep in your study?"
"I don’t remember. All I remember... I was reading the office files. Weird. Why did I end up sleeping there?" Rose answered casually. There was no way she could tell Evan what she did last night, right?
Not wanting to bring up the matter, Rose changed the subject. "Hubby, why didn’t you wake me up last night?" She felt sorry for Evan, who had to take care of her as he got home.
Hearing her dishonest answer somehow made him a little sad.
Why is she hiding something? This was the most immense curiosity he wanted to know. What he discovered last night still bothers him. He wanted to ask her a lot of things. But, he would put it aside for now. He would wait until she was honest with him.
"You look so tired that I didn’t wake you up," Evan answered. Rose could only nod slowly. Last night she seemed tired.
"Which city did you visit yesterday? I called you several times, but your cell phone is unreachable."
"I’m flying to Nova city. Looks like when you called, I was on a plane."
Rose is shocked.
Did Evan go to Nova city because his company was affected by yesterday’s bombing?
This worried Rose so much. She increasingly wanted to help the authorities by giving her father or Sean, the future information she knew from her previous life. But she still didn’t know how to talk about this to them.
They’ll surely think she’s crazy, right?
Or maybe they will be suspicious of her having links with terrorists. Gosh! Thinking of all this made her head feel dizzy.
"Ah, no wonder... I can’t..." before Rose could finish her words, she could feel her body being hugged tightly. And later, she heard his voice close to her ear,
"I’m so sorry, wife."
"Why, Why did you say sorry?" Rose looked up to see his face. They just stared at each other for a moment without saying any words.
After some time, "Because I didn’t keep my promise." Evan said quietly.
Rose’s heart suddenly felt warm when she heard his sincere apology.
While at the same time...
Gavin and Oscar were in the car heading for Misty Mountain.
"Gavin ma bro... I’m so excited. Finally, I’m going to meet Lady Boss." Sitting in the car heading towards Evan and Rose’s house, Oscar couldn’t hide his excitement.
"Yeah, I know. You’ve said that... a hundred times." Gavin chuckled. "Why do you feel so happy to meet her?" Gavin found it strange to see Oscar acting like a teenager about to meet his idol.
"Well, you know... I’m amazed by Lady Boss, who can tame our big icy Boss. And I’m curious to see her in person. She must be very charming and beautiful, right?"
"Our Lady Boss is a goddess... apart from her beautiful face, her heart is also beautiful. She is very kind. But be careful. Don’t get too close to her even if she’s nice to you."
"Why? Why did you forbid me?" Oscar was confused by Gavin’s words.
Gavin chuckled. "You’ll find out later..."
"What? Can you just spit it out? Damn it! Why are you making me curious like this?"
"If you want to know the answer, you can try...." Gavin smiled while ignoring Oscar’s curious gaze. Though the streets were empty, he refocused on driving the car to Misty Mountain.
It wasn’t long before they arrived.
"Did we arrive early?" asked Oscar.
"No. Big Boss always has breakfast at 7 am. Let’s go. They’re probably having breakfast..." Gavin led the way to the house, but he was surprised to see the room still empty.
At the same time, Paul Martin entered the living room. He had been waiting for their arrival.
"Mr. Riddle, Mr. Jennings, welcome...." Paul politely greeted them. "Young Master has just woken up. You can wait a bit." He said and went back inside, leaving Gavin and Oscar.
Gavin was silent. This was the first time he heard his Boss overslept. Usually, he is very disciplined with time.
"Damn, Gavin! I told you, we’re too early...." Oscar protested while sitting on the sofa. Gavin didn’t answer Oscar immediately but tried to analyze why his Boss woke up so late.
"Did Lady Boss ignore him for coming home late last night?" Gavin muttered, but Oscar, sitting not far from him, heard his words.
"Ignored? Who?" asked Oscar curiously.
Chapter 308: Meet Oscar
Gavin glanced at Oscar.
"Big Boss. Last night he came home late. I think last night our lady boss must have been upset. That’s why they woke up late today. You know... our big Boss is very disciplined, he always wakes up at the same time. Every day. And, during my time as his assistant, I never saw him wake up late."
Oscar nodded. Agree with Gavin’s words.
"Yeah, you’re right. Wow! I still can’t believe our female Boss is so powerful. Only the lady boss can make him obey someone."
"Yup! Not even his parents and elders. Well, I told you before that our big Boss’s weakness is his wife. So Oscar... if you have a problem with Big Boss, you can find Lady Boss. She will help you." Gavin explained.
Oscar was surprised to hear that. But, somehow, he doubted what Gavin said. How could Lady Boss be involved in their affairs?
"Have you ever done that!? Did it work?" Oscar curiously asked.
Gavin wrapped his arms in front of his chest while looking at Oscar with a satisfied smile. Before he said, "Yes. And, of course, it worked..." Gavin said proudly, but before he could finish his sentence, suddenly, from behind, came a cold voice that made Gavin’s heart feel like running. The room itself felt frozen with an invisible pressure.
"Looks like you want to collect your punishment now, Gavin?" Evan’s voice was soft but enough to make Gavin and Oscar freeze.
"B-O-S-S!!" Gavin shouted as he jumped out of his chair. His knees swayed when he turned around and saw Evan’s figure standing not far from him.
He also saw Rose standing beside Evan. Her friendly smile couldn’t calm his panicked heart, so he quickly continued his sentence, "S-Sorry, Boss. I just wanted to prank Oscar... hahaha, we’re just kidding here."
Oscar, "..."
Oscar immediately stood beside Gavin, then he whispered to him, feeling angry. "For real, Man! Why are you dragging me to your grave?"
Satisfied with sending his annoyed look at Gavin, Oscar immediately looked at the woman he was eager to meet, Lady Boss.
"Lady Boss... hello... hi...." Oscar greeted Rose. He was blown away by how beautiful the woman in front of him was. But, before long, her figure disappeared from his sight. When he came to his senses, he saw Lady Boss sitting on the sofa.
Wow, she can also move so fast? Was she a martial arts expert like the others? Oscar was taken aback.
What Oscar didn’t notice, Evan pulled Rose into a chair because he didn’t want anyone to stare at his wife.
Rose smiled at Gavin’s pale face and saw the tall man in glasses standing beside Gavin. She was curious. This was the first time she had seen him. Who? Just before she wanted to ask Evan, her hand was pulled by Evan to sit.
"Wife, this is Oscar Jennings. He’s one of my assistants who works overseas. He just arrived in this country." Evan explained as he sat down next to her.
"Oh, hello, Mr. Jennings. It’s nice to meet you.." Rose greeted warmingly. She had heard from Sam that Evan had many highly competent assistants in nearly every major city worldwide. Apart from Sam, Gavin, Lucas, whom he met in Italy, and now Oscar.
Does Oscar have the same martial art abilities as Sam too?
However, judging by his appearance, this man didn’t seem to have any martial skills. At a glance, she looked at him. This man looked weak.
"Miss Boss, just call my name, Oscar. If I’m not mistaken, I’m younger than you..."
Rose was surprised to know this. She thought Oscar was her age.
"Well, Oscar... It’s nice to meet you," said Rose awkwardly because right now Oscar was looking at her like he was looking at the treasure. It felt strange to be seen that sharp by someone she had just met.
Soon they were all sitting at the dining table.
Rose didn’t say much at breakfast. She only heard the three men in the room talking about something she didn’t like; Football. And in the middle of their breakfast, Sam appeared, joining the others. The discussion about football continues.
This was the first time she knew that Evan liked football. She thought her husband’s interest was only in studies and business.
While they were busy talking about football, Rose was enjoying her breakfast as her mind was thinking about what she had done last night.
After watching hundreds of minutes of CCTV footage, she finally found what she was looking for, the face of the person she vaguely remembered from her past life.
However, what she found has not been given to Oliver for further investigation. For some reason, she was worried that Oliver would find her strange and suspicious of her.
Dilemma. That is how Rose feels right now.
If she remained silent, it was likely that another bombing event would occur. But if she immediately asked for an investigation without preparing a proper answer for Oliver. That man must have grown suspicious of her, and sooner or later, her big secret will be exposed. Just thinking about this could make her head feel like spinning.
"Do you have any plans for today?"
Rose was surprised when she heard Evan’s voice near her ear.
"Grandfather called me. He wanted me to visit the shooting range..."
Last night her grandfather wanted her to come to the shooting range. He said; he wanted to ask her something important this morning.
"Do you want me to accompany you?" Evan asked. He was surprised to learn that the old man had asked his wife to visit the shooting range. Worried, the old man wanted to ask his wife to become a sniper so he would go with her. He couldn’t let that happen. His wife will suffer if she joins the special training.
Training to become a sniper is brutal. Even for any remarkable soldier. How could his gentle wife take that path was beyond his comprehension.
Rose’s eyes beamed at Evan.
She had been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. She wanted to show her shooting talent to Evan.
"Yes. Of course, I’d be happy if you accompanied me. But, if you have more important work, I can go there with Sam."
"No. Today I have no plans other than spending time with you." He smiled.
Chapter 309: Shooting Bet
Rose was thrilled to know her husband was going with her.
"Thank you, hubby. Well, after meeting grandpa, I have no other plans. I want to rest. Tomorrow we will leave for East City, right?"
She couldn’t wait to return to her hometown. She has a big plan that she wants to complete. Meet the evil woman who hurt her in two lives.
"Yes." Evan was silent for a moment after remembering Rose’s request, which worried him. After a moment of thought, he continued, "Wife, are you sure you want to meet that evil woman?" He saw her in the eyes, trying to read her mind.
For Evan, it has never been easy to let Rose meet the woman who almost killed his mother-in-law. Worried that his wife’s emotions would be affected if the evil woman verbally attacked her. He didn’t want his wife to feel hurt over a lowly person like Sonya Moses.
"Yes, of course," said Rose, but when she saw Evan’s face darken, she was taken aback. She just realized that her husband must be feeling restless. "Husband, don’t worry, okay!? I just wanted to talk to her..." She smiles to make him feel better.
"I understand. But somehow, I’m afraid that evil woman will hurt your feelings with her harsh words."
Rose secretly laughed in her heart. She had already been immune to that evil woman in her previous life. Many facts brought her to her senses only after her rebirth, hurting her so much. What hurt her the most was when she realized that the woman had stolen all of her mother’s inheritance.
Verbal attacks? Who is afraid of that? She wouldn’t feel any pain from it. Because now her life has nothing to do with the woman and her son.
Since Dustin died, all memories of that man slowly began to fade from her mind. She also hopes this case will end her relationship with Moses’ family. May all memories of them disappear.
The past will remain in the past.
Now, she would only look at her current life with her new family and husband.
Her goal in meeting the woman was simply to straighten out what she thought about her and her mother. If the woman doesn’t believe what she’s about to say, she won’t care. The important thing is that she tries.
"Don’t worry, hubby. Nothing will happen to me..." Rose tried to calm him. But, after seeing that he was still worried she continued her words, "Well if you want, you can accompany me to meet her inside."
It didn’t matter to Rose if Evan heard what she had to say. Because obviously, she wouldn’t talk about her previous life with that evil woman, right?
Evan was shocked to hear that. He thought his wife was going to talk about something important. Because that woman is the mother of Dustin.
He knew very well how his wife liked Dustin. Something he wanted to forget, but the image of the man kept haunting him even though he was already dead. It felt like he wanted to exterminate everyone related to that damn man.
"Wife, can I accompany you inside?" Evan was surprised. He thought she would not let him in. If he can go inside, then he won’t worry.
"Sure. Why are you surprised!?" Rose smiled at him. "Well, I told you I just wanted to clear up what she thought about mom and me...."
"Thanks, wife. I don’t have to worry anymore..." Evan stroked her back affectionately. If no one else was in the room, he would have pulled his hot wife into his arms and kissed her lips which had been teasing him ever since.
Instantly Evan regretted asking Oscar and the others to have breakfast with them. He could only take a deep breath as he cursed them in his heart.
"Lady Boss, don’t forget we have to go to the shooting range after breakfast..." Sam suddenly interrupted Rose who was talking to Evan.
When Rose and Evan were still looking at each other lovingly, she suddenly heard Sam asking her.
At that moment she realized her face and Evan’s were so close that she could feel Evan’s warm breath brushing against her face. She quickly pulled her head away from him and turned her gaze to Sam.
How embarrassed she was to know the three men were staring at them. Gosh!
"S-Sam, you can stay here. My husband will accompany me to the shooting range..."
"Ummm... Lady Boss, can the others and I come with you?"
"Huh!? Why do you want to come?" Rose was surprised.
"Gavin and Oscar told me they want to see your marksmanship skills. Well, they still disbelieve how talented you are at shooting guns..." Sam’s sentence drew scornful looks from Gavin and Oscar.
How dares this stupid Sam expose them? The two men thought.
Rose laughed lightly at that. Suddenly an idea came to her mind; She had to teach these two guys a lesson.
"You guys can come. But..." Rose paused when she saw their curious gazes. A playful smile appeared on her face before continuing, "Shall we make a bet? Who loses will treat us all here to a meal at the most expensive restaurant in town. How about it?"
Evan and Sam were surprised to hear Rose’s words asking for a bet. Is she mad?
"Lady Boss, DEAL!!" Gavin answered excitedly. Not bad for the stake; He can eat at a fancy restaurant for free.
Gavin had heard countless times that his female Boss was talented. But he couldn’t be as good as those who had trained for years and often did real-life missions, could she?
"I’m coming!! But..." Oscar also felt excited to compete with the female Boss. However, their female Boss would have no chance of winning over him and Gavin if...
"But what?" Sam was curious to hear Oscar’s following words.
Sam was worried that Oscar Jennings was known to be talented at critical moments. He was one of the most skilled at finding loopholes to defeat the enemy. Will he also look for Lady Boss’ weakness to embarrass her? Damn!
Chapter 310: CSD
It’s not only Sam who was worried, but Evan felt the same way. His eyes fell on Oscar.
"We will do CSD..." A mischievous smile framed Oscar’s face as he offered his bet. "How about it, do you agree, Lady Boss?"
Oscar’s words shocked Evan and Sam. How can she shoot while moving? During this time, she practiced shooting with static objects. She had never shot while mobile in a Combat Shooting Drill. She definitely had no chance of defeating the two of them. And this was too dangerous because she would be alone in a room without a trainer accompanying her.
Evan cleared his throat to warn Oscar and Gavin, who dared to compete with his wife. How dare they? He would stop them, or his wife would feel publicly humiliated.
But before Evan could say anything, Rose grabbed his hand. He looked back to see her with a thin frown appearing on his forehead. Rose shook her head as if trying to tell Evan not to say anything.
Evan was shocked.
He brought his head closer to Rose, "Wife, do you know what CSD is?" He whispered, trying to stop her from doing this betting plan.
"No. This is the first time I’ve heard of it... what is that?" She never knew. But indeed, this is a shooting practice, right? Anything to do with the shooting, she would definitely agree to the bet.
Evan could only laugh in his heart. How can his wife agree to compete if she doesn’t know what Combat Shooting Drill, or CSD, is!?
"Wife, CSD is a special exercise designed by the Astington military. You will be in a special room with a set like a crime scene. You will shoot moving objects. But you need to pay attention that not all objects you encounter can be shot at because the objects that appear may be innocent citizens. You can only shoot criminals and monsters."
Evan’s mouth twitched when he saw his wife’s eyes lit up with happiness; no panic flashed through her eyes. It confused him.
Evan continued, "If you can get rid of many criminals and monsters with a perfect shot, your score will be high..."
"Oh, I see. Is there a time limit?"
"5 or 10 minutes, depending on the simulation you choose. The faster you eliminate enemies, the better. But that will not guarantee you a win. The important thing is that your shot is accurate. And..." Evan paused to catch his breath before continuing, "While inside, you not only shoot but must also dodge enemy attacks. Your score will be deducted if you get shot."
"Woah! That’s so cool. Then I’ll be like in a real war, huh?" Rose asked, getting excited.
She had only practiced shooting all this time, and such training was starting to bore her. For her, shooting with static targets is no longer challenging; she can shoot objects with her eyes closed and believes her score is still perfect. There is more fun training she hasn’t tried yet. And right now, she is more motivated to try it than ever.
She always wanted to be the shooter she saw in the movies, shooting practice in real life. Now, she felt like scolding Sam. Because all this time, he had never asked her to practice at CSD.
"Yes. That’s why I want to forbid you from participating in this bet. Because your chances of winning are small, if not possible, or zero. Gavin and Oscar have done this particular exercise many times..." Evan explained. He couldn’t tell his wife that Gavin and Oscar often went on secret missions that required them to engage in gun battles with criminals. And training like this is like breakfast to them.
"It’s okay, husband. I wonder how good I can shoot. If I lose to them, I’ll know where I’m lacking..." Rose smiled at her husband, who looked worried. "Hubby, if I lose, I just need to treat them to dinner, right? Why do you need to be afraid? Didn’t you give me a lot of pocket money? I can treat them with as much food as they want..." Rose grinned so excitedly and broadly that Evan could see her gums.
Evan was speechless.
"Oscars, DEAL!" Rose looked at Oscar with her kind smile.
Sam and Gavin were shocked to hear that. Damn! Lady Boss fell into Oscar’s trap!!
"L-Lady Boss, you, you will lose..." Sam paused when he saw Rose asking him to stop talking. He could only follow his Boss’s orders while cursing Oscar in his heart.
Shortly after...
They all arrived at the shooting range. Rose saw her grandfather’s assistant, Uncle Jimmy, who ran this shooting range. She smiled and walked toward him.
Jimmy is surprised to see young lady Rose come with young master Evan. He thought she would come with Sam as usual. He was suddenly worried that his master plan could fail. He had to tell his master immediately before they met.
"Young miss, young master Collins, welcome..." Jimmy politely greeted them. To this day, Jimmy still found it hard to believe that this little girl was master Nicholas’ daughter. "Old master is waiting for you in the office."
"Uncle Jimmy, can we go to the shooting range before meeting Grandpa?"
Rose wants to settle her bet with Gavin and Oscar. In addition, she’s also thinking about measuring her shooting abilities. All this time, she had only been training with immovable objects. Now, she was excited to know the results if the targets were moving.
Jimmy was perplexed. Then he’s asking, "W-Why young miss?"
"I have a bet with these two gentlemen that I could beat their scores in CSD..." Rose faintly smiled before she continued, "Uncle, take us to the Combat Shooting Drill..."
"WHAT!? Do you bet on winning the Combat Shooting Drill? A drill that you have never done before?" Jimmy was genuinely shocked. Has the young miss become stupid? How could she immediately bet on something she had never done before? What even shocked Jimmy was that he knew Rose had never shot a single bullet in that particular shooting area. It takes a lot of gut to battle in an unknown shooting area.
It wasn’t just Uncle Jimmy who was surprised. Standing at the back, Sam felt dizzy thinking about the Lady Boss who had entered the Combat Shooting Drill simulation. Maybe she could hit her target with precision, but she could also be hit by the enemy because she was never taught how to dodge.
Now Sam regrets that he has never brought her to practice at CSD.
