Ch. 376..380: Rebirth_ Dancing In My Destiny Chapter 376-380
Chapter 376: Hester Group Doom (5)
Not only was Earl Hester shocked, but Old Hester was also greatly shocked.
Does this stupid Archy intend to kill someone!?
Who?
Old Hester grabbed Archy’s collar and forced him to look up.
"You bastard! Who is your target?"
Archy Hester was shocked.
Grandpa doesn’t know? Damn it!!
He couldn’t believe he had just exposed his secret. He thought his grandfather knew he sent assassins to kill Oliver, but he was wrong. Instantly he wanted to slap himself for being too stupid.
"Speak!!" Old Hester’s roar was followed by a loud slap echoing through the room.
Old Hester’s hands were shaking with anger. His heart ached as if thousands of daggers had stabbed into his heart as he slapped his beloved grandson. He could tolerate all Archy’s faults except if he killed someone. And worse, what he did cause the Hester Group to go against the three business giants in the country and pressure Hester Group into the abyss. He would never forgive this stupid brat.
"G-Grandpa!?" Archy was taken aback when his grandpa’s hard slap landed on his face.
His body shook as his eyes met his grandfather’s murderous gaze. He could feel his heart shatter, feeling lost because this was the first time his grandfather had laid his hands on him.
Anger grew in Archy’s heart. The only person who had always protected him was now turning his back on him.
"You don’t want to say it?" Old Hester stood from his seat again and lifted his hand, ready to send out his powerful slap.
Archy’s gaze at Grandpa was no longer an annoyed look; Instead, it was filled with terror and fear.
"I, I will say... grandpa, please stop." Archy’s voice trembled, and his red eyes stared at the old man in front of him, who was now different from what he was used to, kind and gentle.
Archy continued, "I sent an assassin to kill my half brother...." He said this in a calm tone, with no sound of remorse whatsoever. As if what he was doing was normal.
Old Hester slumped in his chair. His legs were weak, unable to hold his body up, and her face became even redder as if his veins were about to burst.
With trembling hands, he pointed at Archy, kneeling before him, "Y-You... you useless trash! How can you send an assassin to kill your brother? Have you forgotten that the blood flowing in your body is the same as his blood?"
It felt like he wanted to strangle this damn kid’s neck. How could this kid be vicious toward his brother!?
Old Hester took a deep breath, trying to calm his heart—Even though he didn’t like Oliver Hester’s existence, he never thought of killing the child. He still didn’t understand how Archy could be this evil!?
Not only was Old Hester furious, but Earl Hester, who had been silent for a while, suddenly stood up from his chair, too shocked.
How dare Archy send an assassin to kill his firstborn?
Earl Hester’s face was completely red. He walked quickly and slapped Archy in the face before looking up at his father, with bloodshot eyes glaring at the old man.
"You cast out my first son from this family to raise this immoral child? Father, I am very disappointed in you."
Earl Hester pinched his brows while taking a deep breath to try to calm his raging emotions. "I always follow what you want. I’m willing to leave my wife and son to fulfill your wish. I also never interfered with you when you raised Archy! Father, now... I don’t care anymore, do whatever you want to do...."
Old Hester was shocked to see his gentle and kind son express his anger. This was the first time he had seen her explode like this. "Son..."
"Father..."
Earl’s voice slowly calmed down, but deep down in his heart, he was still mad. "Sorry, I no longer have the strength to do all of this. I will leave everything. Please take care of this company. As I said before, I will obey you if you don’t touch Oliver. I will follow whatever you ask. But now, you can’t even stop this kid from killing his brother!? That was far too much, and...sorry... I can’t tolerate it anymore." He left the room without another word, not even turning his head after his father shouted his name so many times.
Earl Hester’s biggest regret in his life was accepting his father’s wish. He wishes to leave his lover and child and follow his father to marry another woman for the sake of the Hester Group.
And he regrets it still.
If God had given him time to choose again, he would never have chosen this path. He would rather lose the Hester Group than leave his first wife and son. But now it’s too late. He can’t change the past. However, he would stop to continue this path. He would abandon everything and pursue another way.
"Earl, stop!!" Old Hester walked quickly after his son. He can’t lose him now. He needed him to solve the company’s problems. "Listen to me first."
Earl Hester stopped in his tracks as his father stood before him—blocking his path.
"What do you want?" he asked, annoyed, "don’t worry, even if I leave this family, I will not take your money. I give up my right as your heir." He paused for a moment to look at his father’s eyes, and with a gentle smile, he continued, "now, I don’t owe you anything..."
Slowly Earl Hester walked past his father towards the door...
"Son, I know I made a big mistake in the past. But, I never asked anyone to hurt her and her son, never. And what Archy did was purely his own doing, without me knowing it. Son, I promise you, I will punish Archy for going too far. I will give Oliver justice. Please, son... you have to trust me this time."
After listening to his father’s sincere words, Earl Hester’s cold heart melted slightly. As long as his father wasn’t implicated in Archy’s wrongdoing, he could be tolerant. But if his father were involved, he would never forgive him.
"Now! All we have to do is fix the situation. Could you arrange a meeting with Oliver?" asked Old Hester.
Earl Hester exhales deeply.
"Father, have you forgotten? This useless kid hired a killer to kill Oliver!" He turned to look at his father, "I don’t know if Oliver is still alive or not!!"
After saying that, Earl Hester continued on his step. He would find his son first and try to meet him. He hoped that his son would be willing to meet him.
Chapter 377: Wedding Reception (1)
Wedding Reception Day.
The long-awaited day has finally arrived—Rose and Evan’s wedding reception will be held that evening at Rose’s parent’s house in North Mountain.
The ballroom in the house has been beautifully decorated since yesterday under Amanda Spencer’s command. A previously dull ballroom that had been abandoned because Nicholas Spencer never lived in this house finally looked magnificent. The room now has decorative lights hanging from the ceiling—like a star spark in the dark sky.
Thousands of fresh flowers combined with white and pink decorate all room corners. The beautiful ballroom was ready to receive about 100 guests and close Spencer and Collins family members.
Evan and Rose have been at the house since yesterday. Meanwhile, the close circle of the Spencer and Collins family arrived home early in the morning. The once lonely place is now lively.
Rose sat on the vanity table in her room and stared at her reflection. She wondered why some people close to her might not come to this party.
Sam is still recovering, while Oliver, although he can walk and move, his shoulder is not 100 percent healed. And also, Oliver avoided the Hester family, who were now looking for him. It’s not time for Oliver to show up because his plans to bankrupt the Hester Group are still ongoing. The process of buying shares in the Hester Group has only reached 75% of the target. They need more time.
"You look beautiful..." Rose was surprised to hear Evan’s voice from behind. She turned to look and saw Evan leaning against the door frame.
"Hubby! How long have you been there?" Rose stood up from her seat and walked towards him.
Her smile grew wider when she saw how handsome her husband was now. Even though she has been married to Evan for a long time, she is still always immersed in his charms. This man never fails to amaze her.
"Just now..." He smiled lovingly before continuing, "What were you thinking that you didn’t notice my presence?"
"Mmm... nothing." Rose took Evan’s hand as they walked to the sofa.
Evan couldn’t help but smile slightly—He could feel that his wife’s thoughts were being diverted elsewhere.
"Wife, stop thinking about other things. Today is our happy day. You should enjoy it..." Evan stroked her smooth wavy dark-blonde hair that flowed down her back like a tiered waterfall, looking so beautiful. This natural hairstyle makes her even more attractive. "This hairstyle suits you..." Evan tried to lighten her mood.
Rose rolled her eyes, hearing his sweet words, "Mr. Collins, please stop flattering your Lady."
Evan smiled as he shook his head, "I didn’t mean to flatter you. But, today you are different than usual..." he said while stroking her snow-soft cheek. When he met her almond-shaped eyes beaming, his heart couldn’t calm down. And her soft-cherry lips seemed to entice him—he couldn’t help but kiss her.
His head drew closer to hers. But just before his lips touched hers, he could feel a small hand touch his chest and push him away—a loving laugh echoed through the room, distracting Evan from wanting to touch her.
"No kissing! We need to talk..." Rose playfully pushed Evan and laughed when he saw the dissent look on Evan’s face.
"Hubby, please don’t ruin Aunt Amanda’s masterpiece." Rose could imagine her aunty would be mad if her makeup and wedding dress were ruined—she knew her husband would definitely rip this dress if they made out.
Evan was at a loss for words. He just wanted to kiss her, not make out.
After successfully restraining himself from tearing the wedding dress covering her beautiful body, he cleared his throat before saying, "What do you want to talk about?"
"About our honeymoon plans. Is it necessary to take a honeymoon?" Rose knew why Evan was planning to take her on their second honeymoon. But she didn’t feel ready to leave at a time like this. She had a lot of unfinished business because Oliver and Sam couldn’t help her either. They were still recovering from their injuries.
"Yes. Our trip to Tuscany couldn’t be described as a honeymoon. We only spent one night there ..." Evan felt sorry for his wife because, at that time, they had to rush back to Astington when Molly had an accident.
"But, I..." Rose was reluctant to leave, but she could understand what Evan wanted to do for her.
"Wife, I know your worries... We’re not going out of the country. We will just go to the place near this city, so we can return anytime if something happens..." He was smiling when he saw her smiling face like a flower blooming in early spring.
"Okay, as long as we’re not far from this city, I agree..." Rose smiled. "Where are we going?" She wondered where Evan would take her this time.
Before Evan could answer, footsteps were heard from the corridor, and not long after, Rose saw her mother and mother-in-law appear. They both look stunning in a beautiful pale-blue dress.
Doris and Molly were surprised to see Evan in this room—He should have been in the groom’s room with other men.
"Son, why are you here? It would be best if you stayed in your room, talked to your father and the others... Leave your bride to us. Go!" Doris couldn’t help but scold her son.
Evan was speechless.
"Mother, we are not newlyweds. It’s just a celebration. There’s no need to have a ceremony like that...." Evan protested.
Doris ignored him. She pushed Evan out of the room. While Molly couldn’t help but laugh at the sight, her son-in-law seemed reluctant to leave the room.
Rose sent her faint smile at Evan.
After Evan left the room, Doris and Molly focused on Rose.
"Oh my God... Rose, you look like a goddess!! Your aunt Amanda is talented at designing such a beautiful wedding dress." Molly whispered to her daughter as she sat beside her.
"Agree! My daughter-in-law is a goddess. No, she is more beautiful than any goddess on this earth." Doris also praised Rose.
An awkward expression flashed across Rose’s eyes, but in the end, she smiled at the sweet words of her mother and mother-in-law.
Chapter 378: Wedding Reception (2)
"OH MY GOD!! Sister Rose, I envy you so much! How could God have bestowed you with this peerless beauty!?" Suddenly a loud cheering voice echoed through the room as Keira Spencer appeared at the door. Beside her stood her mother, Emily Stearn—Doris’ older sister.
Rose was speechless at her sister’s praise.
While Doris and Molly both laughed at Keira’s words. They both agree that Rose is indeed beautiful.
Emily Stearn, standing beside Keira, was embarrassed by her daughter’s flattery. She slightly slapped her on the shoulder and warned her not to say anything. Her little daughter was wearing a beautiful dress. Still, her demeanor was not graceful, unlike her niece Rose, who looked elegant and beautiful.
"Mommy! Why did you hit me? I’m telling the truth, alright! My sister Rose is a goddess..." said Keira and quickly walked away from her mother to avoid another slap. She sat beside Rose while wrapping her arm around Rose’s arm.
"You have to follow your sister Rose’s demeanor. Well, no need to be an exact match. At least you can speak more gracefully, do not shout every time you speak to your elders... If you don’t change your attitude, I’m afraid no man will fall for you..."
Emily Stearn couldn’t help but take a deep breath. Ignoring her daughter, she greeted Rose and the others, then sat next to her sister, Doris.
"Sister, don’t use harsh words like that. My niece Keira is beautiful and graceful. I think there must be a lot of boys queuing up to get her attention." Doris smiled slightly, seeing her niece’s face look gloomy. "Isn’t that right, Kei? How many boys are waiting in line to get your attention?" Doris asked, trying to comfort Keira.
However, Doris’s words made Keira’s face even more gloomy.
There isn’t any. There were no boys in line to chase after her, no one.
Until now, she had never had a boyfriend and had no interest in having one or several, like many girls in her Uni. So far, only Oliver Hester could shake her heart.
"Hahaha... no one will glance at her." Keira’s face suddenly turned gloomy when she heard her mother’s words. Gosh!
Molly and Doris are surprised to hear Emily’s words.
"My little daughter only focuses on her idol, Noah Stone. Ah, today I heard Noah will be performing. Should I ask him to go out on a date with Keira?"
Emily’s eyes lit up when she imagined the top singer Noah Stone would become her son-in-law one day. That would be awesome, wouldn’t it!?
"Keira likes Noah?" Molly was surprised to hear that. "Sister Emily, I know Noah and his father very well. I already thought of them as my family. Noah is a wonderful kid. You won’t be disappointed if you have a son-in-law like him." Molly was delighted to hear Keira and Emily had an eye on Noah.
"If sister Emily is serious, I can help you discuss this with Noah and his father." Molly continues.
"Really, sister Molly!? That’s a great idea...." Emily’s cheerful tone was evidence of how happy she was now.
"Sister Emily, are you sure my brother-in-law agrees her daughter has a relationship with the singer? As far as I know, Jayson is very strict about this?" Doris asked, genuinely concerned.
Emily smiles before replying, "Don’t worry, Jayson will follow whatever I say... I like Noah Stone, he’s handsome, and now I know he’s close to sister Molly. So, I thought I would prove him to be my son-in-law."
"Sister, I’ll try to arrange a meeting with Noah’s father for you. He’s also coming to the party...." Molly giggled.
Rose was utterly speechless.
Keira almost vomits blood, hearing her mother and the others try to set her up with her idol, brother Noah Stone. How could they decide on something like this without asking her opinion?
She liked Noah Stone, but as a pop idol, not her boyfriend! Having a boyfriend and pop idol in one person would be weird! Gosh!
"But Mom..." Before Keira could finish her words, her mother’s following words almost choked her to death.
"Oh dear Keira, don’t be shy. Mom, understand, no need to say it...." Emily smiled lovingly at her little daughter. "I will explain to your father and grandfather. They would definitely agree if you were engaged to Noah Stone...."
Keira, "...", can you let me finish my words first!?
"Sister, I know you are jealous because I have a daughter-in-law sooner than you, but don’t force Keira to marry Noah. Keira is still young..." said Doris, worriedly seeing her sister pushing her daughter to marry someone—even though she was still in her teens.
"Doris, I know... I want them to get engaged first. They can get married after Keira graduates from college." she said while looking at her daughter.
Emily can’t wait to have grandchildren. She knew that her wish for a grandchild from her firstborn, Sean, was impossible at this moment. Because Sean was too busy with military affairs to have a chance to meet and fall for a woman.
Emily could not expect much from her eldest son. Now her chance is only with her daughter, Keira.
Keira, "..." was utterly speechless.
Instantly Keira wanted to disappear from the room, embarrassed to hear her mother’s shameless plan.
Luckily, her aunt finally changed the topic of their gossip, which put her mind at ease.
"Sister Emily, did you guys just arrive?" Doris asked. Since then, she had not seen them.
"We came earlier but were busy downstairs entertaining guests. You know, many of your brother-in-law’s political friends come..." Emily rolled her eyes, continuing, "I can’t believe that man invited them to Evan and Rose’s wedding." Emily then looked at Rose and Molly in front of her apologetically.
"Sister Emily, they are brother Jayson’s close friends. It’s fine if he invited them all. Well, if only Rose and Evan agree to this party held at the hotel, maybe we could invite more people. Unfortunately, they disagree...." Molly said as she looked at her daughter.
Gosh! Why does her mother still blame her?
Rose could only take a deep sigh.
Chapter 379: Wedding Reception (3)
Rose ignored her mother and the others who were now gossiping about the guest list. She glanced at Keira, feeling curious about Keira’s feelings for brother Noah.
During their parents’ talk about Keira and Noah’s matchmaking plan, Rose observes Keira. She is suspicious because this girl didn’t argue at all. She was silent when they discussed it, as she had previously agreed with their plan.
"Keira, do you really like brother Noah?"
Instantly Keira’s face went dark again when she heard Rose’s question.
"Of course not. I like that guy as my idol. It never crossed my mind that one day I would marry him. Well... I would never betray my friends, Noah fans out there...."
Rose chuckled, seeing how upset Keira was now.
Indeed, Rose knew Keira never gave a loving look when she saw Noah. The look in her eyes when she saw Noah was just an expression of admiration for loyal fans for his idol.
"Too bad. Though, I would be happy if you two really became lovers...."
"What!? No. Please, don’t ever imagine that would happen. Marrying your idol was a childish thing, and I know that..." Keira stopped when Oliver’s face suddenly crossed her mind. "Sister, actually, I... I already have someone in my heart now..." her cheeks flushed red when she said that, and it surprised Rose.
"Really? Who?" Instantly her curiosity was aroused.
Keira didn’t say a word. She ignored Rose’s curiosity, trying to talk about something else.
But, somehow, after some time, she asked about Oliver. She was curious about his whereabouts, which seemed to disappear suddenly. Worried and curious, this was how she had been feeling lately.
"Sister Rose, is Oliver not coming today?" Arriving at this place, Keira immediately looked for Oliver among Rose’s friends, but she did not see him.
She hadn’t seen Oliver in days, and her disappointment grew when she didn’t find Oliver at this party. She felt Oliver had been avoiding her. Especially since she signed the partnership contract with Wilson group—even now, the one dealing with her in the office is Randy, the COO.
All along, Keira had always imagined that she would have plenty of time to meet the man she liked if she joined the Wilson Group. But she was wrong.
She heard from Randy that Oliver was busy managing a company in Vale City. And currently, he is not in the capital but in Vale city.
Today was the day Keira had been waiting for. She was sure Oliver would show up at her cousin’s wedding—he couldn’t have missed this important event, could he?
But it turns out Keira was wrong again. After she looked for Oliver in the entire place, she didn’t see him either.
Rose suddenly remembered her best friend, who was still lying in the hospital.
"Oliver, he’s busy in another city. There’s an important business, he can’t come..." Rose replied casually.
The poor man Oliver is still being treated at the hospital. He won’t be able to leave the hospital for a while. Old Hester’s men were still waiting for him in front of his apartment and office—this was not the time for Oliver to confront Old Hester.
It wasn’t just Old Hester’s people trying to find Oliver’s whereabouts. On several occasions, his father, Earl Hester, had even come to the office to look for him. That’s why Oliver decided not to go to this party for fear that his family would come to this place and make a fuss.
Keira looked disappointed. The only person she wanted to see at this party didn’t come. Instantly she lost her mood. Even her favorite singer, Noah Stone, couldn’t make her feel better.
She looked at her sister Rose with mixed feelings. Before asking, "Sis, why is Oliver busy taking care of the company when today is your special day!?"
As far as she knows, Oliver and Rose have been friends since childhood. How could Oliver not take the time to come here? Strange right!?
Rose was surprised to hear Keira’s question, and she could feel a hint of sadness in her tone.
Keira looks weird!
After being silent for a while, a faint smile suddenly appeared on Rose’s face when she realized something.
"So, the guy Keira likes is Oliver!?" Rose was quietly talking to herself while holding back a smile.
"There is an important project. Why did you ask for Oliver? Are there problems with your work that you want to share with him?" Rose casually asked but glanced at Keira, trying to read her expression. Keira’s eyes blinked a few times as she tried to avoid Rose’s gaze.
"N-No. Nothing. No p-problem!" Keira said quickly, but Rose could see from her eyes that this girl was lying. She became more and more confident of what she had guessed—Keira Spencer, her little sister like Oliver.
"Kei, do you like Oliver? Fall for him?" whispered Rose.
How did this little girl fall into Oliver’s honey trap!?
Gosh!
Rose couldn’t believe that stupid Oliver could finally use his handsome face to entice a girl.
Keira’s face reddened, and her eyes widened in shock at Rose. How could she know?
She didn’t answer Rose’s question right away. Instead, she turned her gaze to look at her mother, too nervous her mother would hear and find out about the man she liked.
After making sure her mother didn’t hear them, Keira felt relieved.
Then she looked at Rose. She didn’t say anything for a moment, only looking at Rose’s smiling face.
"Am I guessing right? I am right, am I?"
Keira is confused about whether she needs to tell Rose about her feelings for Oliver or not. Somehow, she felt worried that Rose would tease her. But after thinking for a slight moment, she finally decided to be honest with her. Maybe Rose could help her to get closer to Oliver.
"Sis, before I answer, you have to promise me!"
"Hmm... of course! Anything."
"You’re not going to tease me..." Keira’s eyes glared at Rose.
"Oh, sure. I will!" Rose smiled. She knew this little girl must be in love with Oliver.
"I like him. I like Oliver...even have a crush on him." Keira’s face turned red, saying those words.
"Are you guys already dating?"
"What? No. I’d love to, but Oliver doesn’t even know about my feelings. Well, this one-sided crush..."
Rose was silent.
"Oliver seems to keep his distance whenever we talk. Sis, it seems he doesn’t like me...." Keira said sadly.
"Do you need my help? I can be your cupid..." Rose was excited to make Keira and Oliver a couple.
Keira’s eyes lit up hearing Rose’s words. She immediately nodded. "Yes, yes.... Please."
Chapter 380: Wedding Reception (4)
Meanwhile, in the groom’s room, Evan, James, and the others chatted while waiting for the party to start.
"God is so unfair, Evan has been married twice, but we’re still single dogs!" James mumbled.
"Nonsense! Only once, with one woman!!" Evan glared at James, displeased with his words.
"Hahaha, sorry, bro. I mean, two parties..." James laughed at how annoyed Evan was.
Evan didn’t bother looking at James. He focused on typing something on his phone, ignoring James and the others.
"Yeah! I also feel God is unfair. When can we follow Evan and Rose!? Married to our other half?" Danny seemed to be asking himself. But his sentence clearly made Randy massage his temple, feeling annoyed.
These two stupid men made him unable to hold back from saying something, "Guys! You have to find a woman first if you want to get married." Randy said calmly.
"Damn it, Randy! Everyone knows that too. The thing is, women out there mostly show their fakes. Most women show their fake faces with thick makeup, fake attitudes, and insincere virtues. Except for Rose. I’ve never seen a woman like Rose..." Danny couldn’t help but take a deep breath.
Danny has never lacked a female companion since college. Even many chased after him and were willing to throw their bodies at him. But that doesn’t mean he likes them. Because he knew they were all fake, They only approached him because of his good looks and money.
Until now, he had never seriously been in a relationship with the woman he slept with. And for him marrying someone was not on his agenda.
But now, after seeing Rose and Evan happy with their married life, he became eager to meet his other half. He wants to have someone with whom he can share his joys and sorrows—spend his life with the girl he loves.
But it seemed that there was still a long way to go. He had to try his best to find the right one.
"Danny, you have to lower your standards. If you want to find a woman like Rose, I can guarantee you will be a single dog forever!" Randy looked at Danny with disdain. This man wouldn’t be able to find a woman similar to Rose in this country.
"You!" Danny was speechless. But he also agreed with Randy. No woman out there can match Rose. Apart from being beautiful, she was a genius, and her family background was top-notch. No one will fit her.
Danny could only glance at Evan. He forgot how often he’d been jealous of him—Evan was handsome and rich, and he had the perfect wife, too.
While Danny lamented the fate of his love at the same time, Sean Spencer came into the room—He sat down next to Evan.
Randy, chatting with James, was curious to see the presence of a tall man—who sat right next to Evan. He had never seen this man in Evan and Rose’s circle of friends. Still, seeing his posture resembling an active duty soldier, he could guess whether this man was one of Rose’s family who joined the military.
"Who?" James whispers to Randy.
Randy shook his head. Before Randy could ask, Evan seemed to know what they were thinking.
"Guys, this is Sean Spencer, my cousin, and Keira Spencer’s older brother..." Evan looked at Randy and the others before turning his gaze to Sean, "Bro, these are my college friends, and now they are partners with Rose to build her company, Wilson Group...."
Sean was surprised to see three handsome men in front of him. He remembered Rose owning the company, and what he heard recently, his sister also joined the Wilson Group.
He immediately stood up from his seat and shook their hands. He also said sweet words for his little sister to all of them.
After a brief greeting, Sean then asked Evan to a corner. He wanted to report to Evan about the progress of hunting down the terrorist organization, NONE.
For several weeks his team chased the terrorist members and thwarted their bomb attacks. But, the terrorist had been missing for the past few days—It was as if they were deliberately retreating.
So far, Sean’s team has managed to capture the NONE terrorist group members for interrogation.
But what distressed Sean and his team was, the people they arrested seemed to be on a suicide mission. Torturing them will not make them say a word about their organization.
So, no vital information could be extracted even though they captured many members and several team leaders of the terrorists. Sean and his team still don’t know who is the mastermind behind NONE and where their headquarters is.
"This NONE leader is brilliant and cunning. In recent years they have been aggressive in creating chaos, but they are difficult to catch..." Sean took a deep breath and then looked at Evan. His cousin gave them a lot of resources that allowed his team to thwart the terrorist act, and even successfully capture their members. But unfortunately, that’s not enough.
"Evan, the information you provided was beneficial for us. And we could catch one of the leaders of NONE, but he’s not a real leader, just a small group leader. Not a key person from this organization...."
Evan only heard Sean silently while looking at him.
"If we can get another lead from you, maybe we can catch their real leader. Can you help us arrange a meeting with your informant in person?"
Sean wanted to meet Evan’s informant. Maybe they could get another clue and bring them closer to the target they were looking for.
Evan was surprised to hear the direction of Sean’s words.
Sean wants to meet Rose!?
Impossible!
He will not involve his wife in this case.
He’s still unsure how his wife knew NONE’s actions so accurately, and even she can recognize some of its members.
"Sorry, bro... I can’t!"
Evan’s tone, firm, made Sean could only take a deep breath.
Sean knew he couldn’t push Evan to reveal the identity of his informant.
Before long...
All the guests and families had gathered in the ballroom.
The wedding ceremony finally started.
