Ch. 476..480: Rebirth_ Dancing In My Destiny Chapter 476-480

Chapter 476: Arrested

When Rose returned to her office, she was surprised to see Oliver asleep on the sofa in a sitting position.

"Oliver!?" She calls him loudly.

"Umm... W-where have you been, Rose? I’ve been waiting for you for about five, no, ten minutes..." Oliver rubbed his eyes in surprise to see Rose standing before him.

He thought she was home because he didn’t see Sam when he got there. But the receptionist said Rose was still in the building.

He tried to call her, but this girl didn’t bring her cell phone. So he decided to wait for her while resting his eyes.

"I had lunch with Randy and the others on the fifth floor," Rose said. She sat across from Oliver.

When Rose took a closer look at Oliver, she was surprised to see his bloodshot eyes staring at her.

"Are you that busy? Why do you look so exhausted? Oliver, can you pay attention to your health?" There was obvious concern in her tone.

She had heard from Keira that Oliver had been staying in the office a lot lately. And seeing how tired he was now worried her.

Oliver rolled his eyes. After giving him a lot of tasks, this woman dares to ask, "Are you that busy?"

"Tsk! You are such a terrible boss, Rose Spencer!" He wanted to curse her, but he held himself back.

He could only sigh for a long time, thinking of something to comfort his mind.

Should I ask for a raise for working double for her? As CEO and her personal Hacker!

Oliver smiled secretly at his brilliant idea. Well, he’ll talk to her sometime soon. For now, he had to report the results of his investigation.

"Yeah, I’m busy. Thanks to you..."

Seeing him looking annoyed, Rose suddenly remembered that she had given him many assignments this morning.

She grins while ignoring his annoyance.

"So, how’s your investigation?"

"As I predicted, my master has found that man. If I’m not mistaken, they have now captured him. Sorry friend, I couldn’t get ahead of them..." said Oliver feeling regretful.

After so much he had done this morning, he still couldn’t match up to his master. That man is indeed an expert.

Oliver wished he had the chance to meet him and learn more from him. Alas, recently, his master has been so busy. He had lost contact with his master this past month.

"It’s okay. It’s not your fault. And, the important thing is, Evan has found that person..." said Rose.

She would only ask Evan about the man they had caught. If that mas was Dustin’s reincarnation, there would be some clues pointing that way, right!?

Well, this was a bizarre thought, but Rose needed to confirm it before she found out the truth. She wished all these were just her worries and fantasies.

Yet, There is a feeling of fear that cannot be expressed in words. What if that bastard Dustin was really reborn using someone else’s body?

If that happened, her life would be like hell, just like in her previous life.

The thought of this possibility somehow made Rose’s heart feel as if it was tightly gripped by a hand and hurt.

After they talk about the members of the White Skull Gang, Rose tells Oliver about her plans to go on an Island vacation. At the same time, she is trying to divert her mind from the shadows of her past.

She also asked him to invite Keira to go with them.

"When is the plan?" Asked Oliver excitedly. If Keira could come with them, he would drop everything to join Rose on vacation with his baby girl.

"I’ll tell you the exact date, but probably early March. You need to tell Keira in advance because getting permission for a three-day trip would not be easy for her. Her parents are strict."

"Yes, I know." Oliver chuckled. "Don’t worry, I will arrange everything." This time, he would use his authority as the CEO of the Wilson Group to take her with them.

"Great! Looks like you’ve met Keira’s mother, right?"

"Hahaha, yes, we met!"

"How did her mother react when she found out that you two were dating?"

Oliver’s smile blooms at the thought of his first meeting with Keira’s mother.

"Yeah, it went well. But I guess Kei’s mother was merely being polite with me and not a hundred percent giving her blessing. But don’t worry, everything will work out once I meet Keira’s father," said Oliver confidently. He couldn’t wait to meet Jayson Spencer.

Suddenly something crossed Rose’s mind. She tapped her forehead lightly. How could she forget about this!? She looked at Oliver seriously.

"Oliver, when are you ready to meet my uncle?"

"I’m ready any time. However, I would be grateful if you could arrange it sooner..." Oliver said firmly.

The sooner he meets Jayson Spencer, the better. He doesn’t want to waste time and wants to officially date Keira openly. Not dating secretly like now.

"I will try to arrange it soon..." She promised him.

At the same time...

In one of the empty basements in the building on the town’s outskirts,

With an expressionless face, Evan sat down on the chair with a keen eye on the man kneeling in front of him.

Meanwhile, Gavin and Oscar stood in a corner, watching their big boss torture the man who uploaded Rose’s photo. They know this person is not their target, but his confession could lead them to their intended target.

"Speak up! But keep it simple. I don’t want you to waste my time..." Evan’s cold tone made the man on the floor shudder.

He knew this person. He was the one who made their organization suffer. Because of him, White Skull was eradicated. Sadly, the man was just about to catch his breath from the authorities when he was caught in the hands of this powerful man. His luck is running out, indeed!

"S-Sir, I received this assignment after casually going through the White Skull’s internal website." The man said while trying to steal a glance at Evan, but someone struck him on the head before he could see his face.

He roared in pain while staring at the floor with watery eyes. He cursed himself for trying to steal a glance at this devil man.

"If you do it again, you will say goodbye to your head." Evan’s impatient tone echoed. "Continue!"

Chapter 477: Hacker Community

"If you do it again, you will say goodbye to your head." Evan’s impatient tone echoed. "Continue!"

"S-sorry, Sir. I... took the job because I thought the money offered was quite a lot for uploading a photo. Sir, I need money, so I will do anything. I didn’t even know that photo was..."

Another powerful kick landed on his back, and his face hit the floor hard. He gritted his teeth, trying to endure the unbearable pain. While cursing the man who stood behind him.

"So you had no contact with the taskmaster?" Evan was displeased. Now their investigation hit another wall again.

"Yes, Sir! I can testify to that." The man paused. He then told Evan about their organization’s hidden website "Sir, you can check the hidden website of the White Skull Gang... You will know, I’m telling the truth..."

There’s no point lying to this man. If he could destroy the White Skull Gang quickly, he could also kill him.

He didn’t know much about their hidden website, but he was sure this big boss must have some hackers behind him. They would know who’s behind it if they knew the website link, right!?

Evan pondered for a moment. This rat is telling the truth. Knowing he could no longer get any information from this rat, Evan stood up from his chair. Then he called Oscar to follow him and ordered Gavin to clean up that man.

Soon Evan got into his car while Oscar sat beside him.

"You heard what the man said, right?"

"Aye, boss!"

"Go! Investigate the website. Find out who created that hidden web, and who placed the assignment..." Evan said while massaging his temple. "I suspect this person is the same person you are looking for."

Oscar felt even more challenged to find the Hacker. But something bothered him. If the Hacker was behind the White Skull Gang, that guy was indeed slippery.

How could the Hacker be able to use the internet? Even though he had laid many traps — he would find him if the Hacker was using the internet.

He doubted Evan’s theory. There’s no way that guy did it unless...he told someone else to do it.

Oscar took a deep breath out of stress. This was his first time facing such a formidable opponent.

"Boss, I think I should go back to Europe. I should stay there. The closer my location to that person, the easier it will be for me to find him." Oscar said. This is the only way to catch the culprit.

"I agree. You can fly immediately after finishing your work here." He couldn’t keep Oscar here for too long.

Before Oscar left the car, a thought suddenly crossed his mind. He felt goosebumps. How could he forget?

The Hacker he is looking for could be a member of the Hacker Community!? The oldest hacker organization that has ever existed on this earth — that’s why he can’t find him!

Even though Oscar could be called an expert, he had not received an invitation to become a member of the Hacker Community. Only Evan qualified to become a member.

He looked at Evan, "Boss, can you check with the Hacker Community about that slippery Hacker? Maybe someone knows about him!? Or perhaps, he is one of the members there?"

Evan was surprised. He forgets about Hacker Community. It’s been a few years since he accessed the community’s cyber forum.

"OK! I will let you know after I get a clue there..." Evan suddenly changed his plans. He would go to his office first before picking up his wife.

"...Or, can you help me this time, boss? I mean, it was easy for you to find that guy, right!?" Oscar begged.

From the beginning, Oscar wanted to ask Evan for help, but Evan had too much work to do. And he didn’t want to burden him too.

Oscar knew how capable his boss was in this area, but for some reason, four years ago, his boss had seemed to step back and leave all this kind of work to him.

Evan didn’t answer Oscar. He rushed to his office.

Soon he arrived...

He immediately opened his black laptop that had been occupying his desk drawer for a long time. But now he had no other choice. He needed to check something out.

Suppose the Hacker really was a member of the Hacker Community. In that case, he would be making new enemies again, after he clashed with someone in the community years ago.

Evan opened a particular application and began typing code quickly. The computer screen went black, and only codes like dots and numbers were running so fast on the screen. After a few seconds, the Hacker Community forum appears.

Evan was surprised to see so many unread messages in his inbox. He ignored it and searched for the name he was looking for.

"Are they online?" He muttered.

A few minutes later, he saw one of the names he was looking for, QUEEN.

He immediately sent her a text message.

—----------

Hi Queen,

It’s been a long time. Need your help to identify someone. Please reply if you have read this one.

V1P3R

—----------

Evan stared at his laptop without blinking. He knew Queen was online now. That woman was a genius among them. She must have known about the Hacker they were looking for.

But the problem is, does she still remember him? After many years he disappeared from the Hacker Community.

Before Evan wanted to check his cell phone, his laptop screen went black without him even touching it. He smiled.

In just a few seconds, an anime picture; of a white-haired woman with a black crown appeared on the screen.

"Hi, Evan!"

"Hello, Mel. Hahaha, you still remember me?" Evan was moved. He couldn’t believe this monster still remembered him.

"Of course I am. I also read that you’re married, huh!? Why didn’t you invite me?"

"Hahaha... I will visit X and bring my wife to meet you."

"I’ll be waiting. Evan, are you looking for someone? Send me the details, and I’ll check them for you! Sorry, I can’t stay long... I have to go."

"Thank you, Mel. Give my regards to Andrew!"

"I’ll tell him. Bye!"

Evan smiled, seeing his laptop screen back to normal. He immediately sends anything about Hacker’s details and his last known IP address to his friend, Mel.

Chapter 478: Valentine’s Day

For the first time, Rose will celebrate Valentine’s Day. It felt strange because back then, in her past life, Valentine’s day was like an ordinary day for her. Nothing special. But today, Evan asked her to get ready for a special dinner.

Rose was curious about where they will have dinner. She felt Evan would plan a special surprise for her, like a romantic dinner. Because Evan had rarely asked her to wear such a beautiful dress. And when he does, it would be for a special occasion.

She just stared at her reflection in the mirror for more than ten minutes. She felt awkward looking at her current appearance, wearing a simple knee-length red dress with sleeves up to her elbows. As for her hair, she didn’t do much. She just put it in a bun and pinned a butterfly pin she found in a jewelry cupboard.

"Do I look weird?" Rose was talking to herself after applying coral red lipstick. She felt strange seeing how bold her lips were now. After a minute had passed by staring at her reflection, she couldn’t help but smile faintly, seeing her unfamiliar face.

In a hurry, she wears her high heels even though she doesn’t like wearing them. Just for tonight, she wanted to look beautiful in front of Evan and make sweet memories with him.

"You don’t look weird, dear. My wife is so gorgeous!"

Rose was surprised to hear Evan’s voice from behind. She looked back and was stunned to see Evan standing behind her. He looked handsome in a gray suit with his hair slicked back as he usually does in his formal appearances.

"Is this lipstick too bright? I feel weird looking at myself now! I don’t seem to recognize the woman in the mirror."

"I’m serious, dear. You look stunning." Evan sincerely complimented her. He would always be mesmerized by her, with or without her wearing any makeup.

"Oh, please... Mr. Collins! Stop repeating those sweet words, or I might get diabetes!" Rose stood before him. "Should we go now?"

"Mhm... let’s go!" He said and put the black coat on her shoulders.

Soon they arrive at the entrance.

She saw Paul, standing beside the black SUV — the car Evan used to drive.

Paul greeted them in his respectful voice, "Master, Madam..."

Evan just gave Paul a slight nod, while Rose smiled and spoke to Paul for a few moments before she entered the car. She was surprised to learn Evan would be driving.

"You drive!?"

After they married, she rarely saw Evan drive the car when they were going downtown. Usually, his driver or assistant would drive for him.

Are they having dinner around Misty Mountain? Or at his grandfather’s house? She was curious to know.

"Yes. I want to spend more time with you in the car. I’ve been too busy lately, so I rarely take you for a drive." Evan said casually as the car moved.

Rose smiled as she shook her head.

"Where are we going?"

She was curious, but Evan was too stingy to tell her. He kept quiet and just smiled while driving. She didn’t ask him anymore but enjoyed the view.

That night the streets were bustling. Several times they were stuck in traffic. But Rose didn’t feel bored during their trip because her husband talked a lot and teased her simultaneously.

Before long...

They crossed the blue river that divides the capital. The area was crowded with passing cars, and many pedestrians could be seen along the river even though it was still snowing.

The lights adorn the garden around the river, making the atmosphere look romantic. Rose suddenly felt jealous. If only she could walk with Evan in that place along with the other couples, her Valentine’s night would be even more memorable.

"Don’t tell me... he’s going to take me there?" Rose whispered to herself. She was excited.

Her eyes beaming at the thought, she slowly glanced at him. She wanted to ask, but she paused when she realized they wouldn’t stop there. Their car continued to drive away from the area.

After a while, Rose finally realized where they were going.

Little Heaven!

That place is her favorite place among many beautiful places in this city. She could enjoy the mountains’ greenery and, at the same time, see the sea.

"Hubby, are we going to Little Heaven!?"

"You will see...."

Rose was speechless. This man, why did he still keep it a secret? Gosh! She had already guessed it and was very sure of her guess.

"Are we going to have dinner at Brother Aidan’s restaurant?" She asked again.

"Have you heard God favors patient people!?" Evan said while glancing at Rose. Then with one hand, he pinched her cheek.

"Evan, stop it!! This is dangerous. Focus on driving!!" Rose can’t help but scold him. This man seemed in a good mood — during the trip, he always teased her non-stop.

"Yes, ma’am. Don’t worry, I will ensure our journey is safe until we arrive...." Evan chuckled as he focused on the road again.

Rose could only roll her eyes and stare outside again. But not long after, something crossed her mind — she remembered their vacation plans. She told Evan that she had already invited their friends to the island with them.

"That’s great, wife. Hmm... when do you want to go there?" Evan asked. This time he was serious, no longer teasing her.

"The plan is early March. Is it already warm there?"

"Yes. Much warmer than here. And not too hot either. So, it would be best if we can go there around that time...."

"Okay, so the time should be in March, the first week." Rose suddenly stopped. She saw Evan. "Sorry, I forgot to ask you. How about you? Can you go at that time?" Rose was worried that Evan was busy with his office work.

"Oh, my pretty wifey...I can go anytime, as long as I’m with you. Even if you want to go tomorrow, I will abandon everything!"

Rose, "..."

"Gosh! Here we go again... Don’t use your flattering words on me, Mr. Collins!"

"Hahaha, what do you mean? I’m just telling the truth!" Evan shook his head as he silently smiled.

Rose ignored his words. She asked instead, "I want to ask about accommodations. How many people can I invite?"

She was worried that the accommodation on the island would not be able to accommodate all of them. Moreover, her three idiot friends had promised to bring their partners. This could be a problem if there are no suitable places for them to live with their fake lover, right!?

"No worries. You can invite as many people as you want. There are many bungalows on the island, while we can stay in the main villa."

"Wow! Really? Can I invite brother Noah too?" She asked happily.

Rose feels some distance between herself and Noah Stone — he seems to disappear from her life.

Sometimes, she felt that Noah was deliberately avoiding her. But after she hears from her aunt that Noah is too busy with his work, she begins to doubt her feelings. And try to understand that Noah is preoccupied with his works and rarely returns to this city.

Now she felt excited to invite him to join them.

"Hmm, you can," Evan answered briefly. But then he remembered something, "Is Keira coming?"

"Yes. Why do you ask?"

Evan thought for a moment before answering, "I was also thinking about inviting Sean. But, if Keira and Oliver come, Sean would refuse to join."

Rose nodded slightly, agreeing with Evan.

"You’re right. It seems brother Sean doesn’t like Oliver dating Keira."

"Indeed! He doesn’t like it, but he doesn’t forbid it either."

"Hubby, can you make a lunch appointment with Uncle Jayson? I want to help Oliver to meet him."

"Why does Oliver need to meet Uncle?"

"Well, Oliver wants to meet uncle Jayson to ask for his blessing."

Evan was surprised to hear this and felt sorry for Oliver at the same time. That poor Oliver will never get Keira’s father’s blessing. He knew his uncle would never give his blessing to someone with Oliver’s background.

"Wife, tell him to give up! Just ask him to enjoy a date with Kei, but don’t even consider marrying her anytime soon. Uncle Jayson would never give his blessing to Oliver."

Rose was stunned. Evan also knows about this!? No wonder, all this time, he didn’t really care about Keira and Oliver’s relationship because he knew they wouldn’t go any further. But that was then because now, Oliver has a way of dealing with her uncle.

"Well, hubby... Oliver has a way of making Uncle accept him. Please make an appointment for lunch with him..." Rose smiled mysteriously. She knew her uncle would like Oliver.

"Is he that confident?" He raised his brow, surprised to hear that.

"Yeah! He is..." Rose smiles.

"Okay, I’ll arrange it soon," Evan said, although he doubted it would be a success.

Chapter 479: Romantic Dinner?

Later...

Their car arrives at Aidan’s restaurant. There were a few parked cars that could be seen.

Rose felt excited seeing what was waiting for her inside. Had Evan booked the entire restaurant for their romantic dinner?

She secretly smiled as she followed Evan from behind.

When they got inside, the restaurant was empty of customers, and only a few lights were on.

She knew Evan must have booked the whole place for their Valentine’s day dinner. She giggled, feeling pleased by her husband’s romantic gesture.

A jazz tune comforted her ears as she walked up to the second floor where they used to eat at this restaurant — it’s exclusive for Aidan and his friends. Regular customers cannot set foot on that floor.

Soon Rose arrived on the second floor, and a lively party entered her sight. She was stunned. She didn’t expect the romantic dinner she had in mind to turn into a glamorous party like the New Year celebration party she usually sees in movies. The entire second floor was decorated even prettier.

Rose felt her face red because she guessed wrong — it would be a shame if Evan knew what she was thinking — this is not a romantic dinner, but it’s a glamor party.

There is a dance floor in the middle of the room, and at the far end, bands and singers are performing live, to make the atmosphere in the room more romantic.

There are tables filled with buffet food and a minibar for drinks in several corners. Most of them must be liquors.

Music, food, romantic vibes, close friends, and family are all in place. And at this glamorous party, only a few people were present — only two women in the room; Rose and the singer.

Rose felt weird but happy at the same time. Because this is the first time she has attended Evan’s friends’ event.

Does Evan celebrate his valentine’s every year like this? Not. This is not celebrating valentine’s but a gathering of wealthy people.

Meanwhile, while Rose waits beside him, Evan is having a serious conversation with Aidan. She looked around, and before long, she recognized several people; Sam, Gavin, and Marvin Sanders, the CEO of Dream inc, whom she hadn’t seen much in months.

But what surprised her was when she saw her brother, Sean Spencer. The last time she saw him was on New Year’s Eve — since then, he never appeared again despite a family event.

Rose was happy to see him, she immediately walked towards him, but her steps stopped when she saw the man talking to Sean. Suddenly a smile bloomed on the corner of her lips. "I caught you, Oscar!!" She muttered and walked towards them.

It had been a long time since Rose had seen Oscar. And she still felt betrayed because Oscar didn’t keep his promise; he didn’t turn off his phone when she asked him to do that.

A mischievous smile appeared on Rose’s face as the revenge mission crossed her mind. She will teach this Oscar!

"Brother Sean..." Rose patted Sean’s shoulder gently.

"Sister, are you guys coming?" Sean happily smiled when he saw Rose behind him. He turned around and was shocked at how beautiful her clothes were. She looks very feminine. "You look beautiful, Rose!"

"Yeah! I just wore something that fit the theme of the party..." She looked around and showed everyone wearing suits, including Evan’s assistant.

"Your husband threw this party to celebrate your wedding announcement, so he invited all of us..." Sean chuckled.

This morning he received an invitation from Evan while he was still at base camp. At first, he refused, but how could he turn him down when Evan pleaded? He had no choice; he came to town to attend this party, and after this party ended, he should return to North City again.

Rose was stunned by Sean’s words. Now she understood why Evan had asked her to come to this event and asked her to wear formal clothes.

"Jeez!! Hubby, you should have told me..." Rose was quietly talking to herself as she stole glances at Evan, who was now talking to a middle-aged man she had never met before.

"Rose, you talk to Oscar. I’ll say hello to Evan first..." Sean said.

"Okay, brother. Ah, before you go back, be sure to find me. There’s something I want to tell you." Rose said before Sean left.

"Sure!"

Rose then looked at Oscar. She smiled when their eyes met. "Oscar, it’s been a long time! Are you busy with your work?"

"Hi, Lady Boss. Yes, a bit busy. How are you?" Oscar asks while looking at her healthy hand. Somehow he felt happy that her hand was healed but he felt sad at the same time because she was hurt because of his fault. He didn’t do his job carefully.

"I’m fine. Thanks for asking. Though I’m sad you never show up to revisit me..." Rose chuckled.

Oscar blamed himself more. He tried to calm his nerves, drinking red wine to wash his dry throat.

Rose smiled as she stood beside him. Her gaze fell on the female singer. She enjoy the song while drinking her orange juice — Evan forbade her to drink alcohol. Thanks to her mother, who put her on a strict diet. Now, all the food and drink she consumes must be healthy. And she is no longer allowed to drink alcohol.

After finishing her orange juice, Rose looked at Oscar, looming beside her, "Have you been well, S3T4N?"

Instantly Oscar choked severely. His precious wine gushed out of his mouth. His face turned pale as he stared at Rose. How could she know? Did Big Boss tell her about his other identity?

"Not! Impossible. Boss Evan wouldn’t say this to anyone, not even his wife. I must have heard wrong!" Oscar was busy debating in his mind while pretending he didn’t hear anything. He cleared his throat and turned to look at the singer on the mini-stage. Ignoring Rose’s earnest gaze.

"Oh, you still won’t admit it, do you!?" Rose patted Oscar on the back before she continued, "I know everything..."

Oscar slowly looked at her and cursed in his heart, "Shit! How did she know that?"

Chapter 480: A Shocked Oscar

Oscar slowly looked at her and cursed in his heart, "Shit! How did she know that?" He looked at her in horror. But he keeps silent to avoid her from guessing.

"I know everything about you, Oscar. Now, don’t try to hide anything from me..." Rose grinned when she saw Oscar stare at her in disbelief.

Oscar faltered. Damn it! She did know!

"H-How did you know? Who told you?" He asks. He believed Evan had no way of telling Rose about it.

So, who told her?

After a few seconds, a thought crossed Oscar’s mind. He was stunned. It must be Oliver. The fuck!! Does that brat know my identity all along? Impossible, right!?

"Who told you!? Is it Oliver? Has he managed to uncover me?" He asks.

Oscar didn’t know whether to be happy or worried, that Oliver finally found out who he was. On the one hand, he wanted to compliment Oliver’s talent, but on the other, it meant he needed to hone his skills further, or someone might steal his position.

Rose’s smile widened. Now you admit it. Very nice!

"Oliver? Are you kidding me? He’s good, but not that good. Oliver still has a lot to learn, probably! And if you think my husband told me, you’re wrong. He didn’t tell me either." She stops Oscar from accusing her husband.

"Would you believe me if I found it myself? I’m as smart as you think I am, Mr. Jennings. Maybe even smarter. I can connect the dots to conclude that Oliver is your padawan..." said Rose. A proud smile emerged from the corners of her lips, making Oscar freeze instantly.

Indeed, he was too stupid! He foresaw this coming, as Oliver knew a lot about his latest work, which had everything to do with Evan. Sooner or later, Oliver will definitely suspect. That’s why he’s been trying to avoid Oliver for the past month.

He thought if he avoided Oliver, his identity would remain hidden. But he was wrong. Someone has solved the riddle.

Oscar could only smile bitterly at Rose, his smart lady boss.

"Now I know why people call you smart..." Oscar chuckled and motioned for her to sit on the sofa. He gets worried seeing her uncomfortable standing with her high heels.

"Oh please... don’t praise me like that. It has nothing to do with my intelligence..." Rose chuckled, sitting on the sofa.

"That’s because you are so careless, Oscar. How can you openly tell Oliver about your task!? Have you forgotten Oliver is someone who will tell me everything?" She continued while rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, I know that. Well, I think Oliver was stupid enough to guess it...." Oscar laughed before continuing, "Mmm... I hope you’ll keep that a secret for me, Lady Boss." He said seriously.

"Sure! I’m a person who always keeps my word. Unlike you..." Rose shook her head as Oscar’s betrayal crossed her mind.

"Oh! What do you mean, Boss?" He frowned, confused by her words.

When did I not keep my promise? Oscar tried to rack his brains, but he couldn’t find it.

"Gosh! You still won’t admit it? Remember, I asked you to turn off your phone a few days ago, but you..." Before she could finish her words, Oscar stopped her.

"Wait... Wait... So that’s what you mean? Oh my god."

"Yeah! What else?"

"Hahaha, Boss... I did it! How could I not keep my promise to you?" Oscar shook his head sadly because Rose accused him. He did comply with what she asked for as a form of regret. It was his mistake that she was hurt.

Rose stared at Oscar, trying to read if he was telling the truth!? It was hard for her to trust this man. But she could see sincerity flash through his eyes after a while.

"Now explain it to me, Oscar. How did Evan contact you to find my location that day?" She asked.

"Lady Boss! Your husband is also a hacker. To find your location, he can do it with his eyes closed..." Oscar wanted to say that, but he couldn’t utter it, right!?

"Well, I never communicated with boss Evan using my usual cell phone. I have another phone, and only Boss Evan can call me at that number...." Oscar finally told the truth.

Once again, Rose was shocked to hear that. No wonder Evan could find her so fast.

How could she not be aware of that possibility? Moreover, Evan must have another way to contact all of his men. Gosh! She was too stupid!

After a long silence, Oscar glances at Rose again, "Boss, I want to say goodbye. Tomorrow I will return to Europe. I will stay there for a while."

Rose was surprised to hear that. Is Evan punishing Oscar for a mistake he made?

"Oscar, tell me, did my husband send you there because of me?" Now she feels terrible for Oscar. "Listen, Oscar, I can talk this over with Evan. I will ask him to not send you there...." How could she let Evan punish his people because of her? She will not allow it.

"Hahaha boss, me going to Europe has nothing to do with you. However, I do have a job there..." He explained.

Oscar was supposed to fly out tonight, but Boss Evan asked him to stay behind to attend this party. So he postponed his departure tomorrow. He couldn’t wait to hunt down his target. Moreover, his Boss had just given him the hacker’s details. He just needed to wait until that person appeared on his radar. He was sure he would find him soon.

Rose felt relieved. "In which country will you live?" Rose asked.

She has plans to revisit Europe after her failed honeymoon in Tuscany. But, next time she wants to go to another country.

"Paris."

"Paris!? Wow, I want to go there too. I’ll arrange a time to visit you...."

"I will be waiting for you, boss!"

Rose and Oscar continued to talk about many things, including gossiping about Oliver.
