Ch. 126..130: The Alpha’s Exchanged Mate Chapter 126-130
The Alpha’s Exchanged Mate – Chapter 126
Edwina’s POV…
I didn’t know why but the moment I was a step closer to Xander’s office, I adjusted my bra up a bit to show enough cleavage. A faint smile showed on my lips as I thought of how silly I had just acted.
It had been two nights since I last set my eyes on him, and in some way, I missed him. I had woken up earlier today, feeling some reviving energy surge through me. So, even though I felt mortified about my confession to Becca last night, I decided to cut myself some slack and enjoy the fresh air of a new day. Becca had joined me, and we had a pleasant morning.
The tea we had shared had gotten my energy so high up that I had gotten back to my room, hoping to get f****d. Only to remember that Xander was busy at work.
I did not want my horniness to die off because I knew touching myself won’t cut the deal to have a real d**k sliding in and out of me and making me gasp for breath. The idea of taking food to them sounded pleasant enough to serve as an excuse to see him.
Holding on to the paper bag containing his food and that of Carlos and Jason tightly, I dropped Carlos and Jason’s food by the secretary’s table as I noticed she wasn’t on seat. Then, knocking on the door slightly, I entered the office.
Flashbacks of the first time I entered his office returned to me. It had never crossed my mind that I would be coming back into it months later with a different status; his Luna.
He was seated on one of the couches in the office, with Jason next to him as they had their heads together, trying to figure out whatever was on the laptop that lay on the table. Jason and Carlos had been out of the pack lately, coming to join Xander and Caleb at the office to work on whatever it was they were hiding.
Xander wasn’t one to keep secrets; I had a feeling he would tell me all about it soon. Just as I locked the door, trying to be as gentle as I could, but it still got their attention. They both raised their heads up.
“Good day, dear Luna.” Jason bowed his head, standing up.
“That’s okay, Jason. How are you?” I asked, trying hard not to stare towards Xander. He looked so ruggedly handsome with the unshaven beard he had on. He must have been so preoccupied to not remember to complete his regular morning routine.
“Very fine, thanks,” Jason responded, turning towards Xander. “I would leave now, alpha. Would return later on.”
Just as he was about to leave, I remembered the food. “Jason!” I called out.
He turned towards me, “yes, Luna?”
“I dropped some food for you and Carlos by the secretary’s table. Please be sure to pick it up.”
Jason smiled, “that’s so thoughtful of you, Luna Edwina. Thank you very much.” He muttered before taking his leave.
Xander looked unnecessarily quiet, which was unlike him. I didn’t know if I was supposed to greet him in a particular way.
“Hi,” I muttered in a low tone, sitting opposite him as I bent towards the table with the bag I had in hand.
He had no response, still staring hard at me.
I coughed lightly, “I just thought you might need some homemade food. So, I had them prepare some Italian pasta alongside roast chicken and some mac and cheese on the side, just in case you want to go light. And for desserts, there are some muffins and scones to make your day,” I ranted, almost losing a breath.
“You might like to be a host at a fancy restaurant at this point.” He finally said, resting his back on the couch.
I tried hard not to roll my eyes; so much for my effort.
I sat back, uncertain of what to do. Just then, he leaned over, reaching for a piece of the chicken. Chewing on it with relish, he looked towards me.
“Did you make any of these?”
I shrugged, trying not to sound boastful. “I prepared everything, aside from the muffins and scones Becca had made. The rest of the food was made by me.”
“Boastful, I see.” He commented, still picking over each delicacy.
I scoffed, ” don’t you alphas learn to say thank you?”
Picking up a cutlery, he raised his brow at me. “Didn’t realize I was supposed to say that.” I could see the smirk forming on his lips.
I decided to let him be; it was obvious he was hungry with the way his eyes ran through the food. I should have known he wouldn’t feel comfortable eating at the hotel. Becca once mentioned how much he loves eating homemade foods. He was unlikely to Lodge for too long in a hotel unless he was on business trips, and that was before the accident.
The condition at which the pack was now required him to dump his comfort for the protection of the pack.
I watched as he took every bite in a manner that had me turned on. I wanted to k**s him and have a feel of the food on his lips. I wanted to run my hands over the stubble he had grown overnight. I must admit, Xander is a breathtaking man. He definitely has the ability to catch many women’s attention as much as he wants.
Somewhere inside of me, I felt glad I could call him my own despite having no idea what exactly was going on between us. All I knew was we enjoyed s*x with each other.
When he pulled out his tongue to lick on the fork he had in hand, I imagined it flicking over my nipple, and I felt my legs tighten over the walls of my p***y. I didn’t know staring could do this much to me.
“Can you not do that, please? You look thirsty.” Xander’s voice woke me up from my reverie.
I didn’t realize I had been drooling at the thought of him.
The Alpha’s Exchanged Mate – Chapter 127
Alexander’s POV……
The moment she neared the premises, my wolf could smell her. When she did walk into the office, looking damn fine and sexy in the black fitted dress she had on. Thoughts of having her bent over the table crossed my mind. Only that my a*s would be all out in the open if I did that. When Jason did leave, she leaned over to place the paper bag she carried on the center table. The sight of her cleavage made me almost choke on my spit.
I could bet my whole life on it that Edwina was out to seduce me, it had been some long days away from her, and something told me she missed our moments together just like I did.
All through the night that I had slept alone in that hotel room, I had jerked off twice at the thought of her wet dripping p***y with its juice all over my d**k.
I accepted the food offering, which I really did appreciate. But as I ate, other things ran through my mind; Edwina wasn’t making it easy either. She was outrightly checking me out with no shame; probably, she didn’t even realize it. Either way, this young woman was having a daylight fantasy of me.
Knowing I had her mind in a mushy state made my wolf feel proud.
“Can you not do that, please? You look thirsty.” I taunted her
She cleared her throat, adjusting her sitting position.
“I have no idea what you are talking about.” She defended herself, trying to hide her flushed face.
Putting the plate of pasta back down on the table. I gobbled down some water from the bottle she had brought along. Then, feeling satisfied, I gestured for her to come to me with my finger.
Almost like she was being called over by a remote control, Edwina came to me. Not letting me tell her what to do, she knelt in between my legs, unzipping my trousers.
Letting her finish up by freeing my d**k, I decided to make her frustrated a little. I nodded my head towards the door.
“That isn’t locked. I doubt you would want your husband’s d**k all over the internet.” I grinned.
She let out a silent g***n, almost running to the door to lock it. She was back in a flash. I almost didn’t see her walk at all.
Almost immediately, she had the whole of me in her mouth. If anything, Edwina knows how to suck the hell out of my d**k. If she goes on for a minute longer, I might cum inside her mouth.
Bobbing her head up and down my d**k, I held her hair, pressing it down to enable me touch the back of her throat.
The pleasure was heavenly; her warm mouth wrapping itself on the whole of my d**k made my entire day.
Raising her head up, I motioned to her to sit on my lap, spreading both of her legs sideways. Kissing her neck, I worked my hands underneath her dress. Untangling the bra hook, I placed both of my hands on her breast; their feel on my hand made me let out an unintentional m**n. They were super warm, the effect of having them cooped up in a closet.
Edwina m****d as I twisted both of her nipples, making her grind against my d**k. I raked my hand over all of her body, pulling her close to me to feel every part of her.
“You are so soft,” I commented, letting out a little gasp.
I could feel her impatience mounting as she tried to put my d**k inside of her. Putting my hands on her waist, I held her up.
“Stay calm.” I told her, “get off my lap.”
She looked stunned, wondering why I said so.
“Take off your panties!” I ordered
She did so within seconds. She was still looking at me with questions in her eyes.
“Clear the table.” She did as told. “Come here.” I eventually called her toward me.
Making her turn her back towards me, I had her sit on my lap again. This time, stretching both of her legs to the side, guiding her to lay her head and hands on the table. This way, all of her a*s was raised to my face. The sight of her dripping creamy juices made my wolf crazy.
Urging her to hold on to the table well, I positioned her towards the tip of my d**k. I held her by the waist, tickling her p***y gate with the tip of my d**k. She grinded towards me, impatiently trying hard to take all of me in.
Indulging in her extreme needs, I slowly thrust my d**k into her.
“Uhhhh,” she m****d loudly.
Her insides were so slick I felt like leaving my d**k inside of it. I couldn’t hold the move; she was moving in and out of me herself without control. It was slow and steady at first, making all of my insides churn.
Holding on to her waist tighter, I slammed her a*s against my d**k at a fast pace. Her head bobbed continuously as I f****d her thoroughly, feeling some wild excitement in the pit of my belly. Releasing my right hand from her waist, I grabbed her breast, smooching it tightly. The effect had more juices spewing out onto my d**k as she m****d loudly. Holding on to her breath with my other hand on her waist, I increased my thrust, having her gasp as my d**k touched every part of her insides.
Gripping her for her dear life as I was about to reach my peak, her butt shook continuously, f*****g me as we both climaxed at the same time.
Letting my d**k out a bit, she threw her head on the table, panting hard. I watched in admiration at how knocked out she was from the exercise. Smacking her a*s lightly, I threw my head to the back, panting. Knowing I was sold for the rest of the day.
The Alpha’s Exchanged Mate – Chapter 128
Authors POV…..
Becca panted and huffed as she ran all the way down the stairs, ditching the elevator. She sat down on the third floor’s staircase, her eyes burning from the hot tears that had pooled at the corner of her eyes.
She wasn’t supposed to care; seeing Caleb with Ramona shouldn’t be a problem. After all, he had told her the very first time they had s*x, and she knew it had been a constant thing. So why, then, was she feeling heartbroken and cheated?
Becca wailed alongside her wolf as she tried to muffle her voice by covering her mouth with both of her hands. She wanted to bury herself deep inside the safety of her bed covers. Anger coursed through her, but she knew it wasn’t her place to be angry. However, she wasn’t angry at anyone but herself.
She had known his stance from the beginning, and Caleb had been generous enough to not give her mixed signals about his emotions. But her silly heart kept conniving with her mind, trying to convince her to keep hoping. The thought of Caleb moaning so intensely to Ramona’s grind flashed through her mind again; she couldn’t hold back the tears as they fell.
Caleb ran down the hallway panting; he didn’t realize how hungry he was until he ran down to the elevator and back with no sign of Becca. He had gone towards Xander’s office but knew she wasn’t there when he couldn’t find her by the secretary’s side.
His head wheezed on where she could be. Then, following his wolf instincts, he moved towards the stairs running down them, hoping to find her. He had no idea if following her and leaving Ramona high and dry was the best thing to do, but he knew he couldn’t leave Becca all by herself.
Reflex had been the first thing to act when he saw her eyes staring back at him, looking heartbroken. His heart had picked up a panicked pace when he sighted her; he felt like a child caught stealing candies at the store.
Jogging down the third-floor staircase, he heard some muffled sound. He almost leaped for joy, knowing it was her. But he had no idea what he was meant to do seeing Becca crying her eyes out.
Going closer to her, he sat a step away from her. “What’s wrong, Becca?” He asked meekly
Becca hid her face when she heard his voice sniffing, “I’m okay.”
Holding her by the shoulder to make her face him, “how can you say that when you are crying so hard. What’s wrong?” He asked, worried, hoping he wasn’t the main reason for her tears.
He had never seen her so vulnerable; Becca had always been able to keep herself together.
“Please don’t touch me.” She whimpered, still not facing him. Wishing he would just go and let her be.
Caleb kept his hands to himself, placing them on his thighs. “I’m so sorry for making you see that. I didn’t know Ramona had not locked the door.” He chuckled nervously.
B***d ran through Becca’s ears at how he wasn’t bothered about how she felt exactly but thought she was embarrassed for him.
Not saying a word, she stood up, walking past him in a rage. Caleb was quick to match her pace as he pulled her back.
“What’s wrong, Becca? Is there something bothering you?” He asked, still holding onto her hand.
“Get your f*****g hands off me!” Becca growled.
Caleb looked taken aback. He had never seen Becca look so angry before.
“Why are you getting angry at me? What did I do wrong?” He inquired.
Becca gave him a disgusting look; kissing her teeth, she stared into his eyes.
“You know what I regret the most? It’s making me believe the lie I kept repeating to myself. I blame myself for refusing to read the room. I blame myself for being such a hopeless love fanatic. I feel so stupid!” She lamented, her tears adding up.
Caleb stared at her in confusion, wondering what in the world she was raving about.
“What are you saying, Becca?”
Becca let out a dry laugh, “you wouldn’t understand, and I don’t think that’s your fault. But how dumb can you get not to notice how I have felt about you all these years? You were so lovestruck with Ramona. Even from the distance, you didn’t give me any chance to love you. Yes, you heard me. I love you, Caleb, and it hurts so f*****g much to see your d**k all rammed up in another woman’s p***y! F**k you all!”
She yelled, keeping up with her walk to the ground floor. Caleb stared at her receding back in confusion. He knew something was wrong, but he had never thought it would be something like what he had just heard.
He couldn’t tell if Becca was just so good at hiding how she felt or if he was the one too blinded to see. Caleb stood like a piece of log, undecided on what to do.
Taking a deep breath, he walked back up the stairs like a lost zombie with no actual direction. Becca’s confession made him dumbstruck. Never would he have thought she would say such to him. She had always been reserved with her thoughts and feelings.
Getting to the front of his office, he saw a raging Ramona step out of the office with her hand on the doorknob. Her face contorted into an ugly frown.
Ramona stared at him angrily; she didn’t know what she was supposed to make out of the incident that had taken place minutes ago. It had taken her time to recover from the embarrassment of being pulled out without warning. If she didn’t know better, she would have thought Caleb and Becca were f*****g each other. But, it’s a well-known fact that the both of them are good friends. And if they were really f*****g, then both of them were definitely good at hiding things.
Slamming the door shut aggressively, she stared at him for a split second. Then, in one unsuspecting move, Ramona slapped Caleb hard across the face.
“That’s for leaving me horny and running off!” She spat, walking away, her heels clattering hard against the floor.
The Alpha’s Exchanged Mate – Chapter 129
Alexander’s POV…
Pulling her dress down to her thighs as she stepped out of the restroom, she looked more beautiful to me.
“I must admit my d**k does wonders to your outlook.” I teased.
“Don’t get so full of yourself.” Edwina snickered, walking towards the table to pack up.
I still maintained my sitting position; I felt light. My burdens seemed so minimal after the s*x that I could go unrelenting for the next days to come. That was a slight lie, though. I had no intention of missing having s*x with Edwina for another two days.
She was done packing up in no time. Then, sitting down, she leaned on the couch. I didn’t want to ask, but I knew courtesy demands I show some concern.
“Heard Sonia sprained her leg. How is she doing now?”
Raising her gaze to mine, she must have noticed how hard it was for me to ask about her sister’s welfare. Her eyes were understanding; this is one of the reasons my heart kept fluttering at the sight of her.
“I haven’t gone to see her today, but I will do so the moment I leave here. I guess she is recovering fine.”
“Okay.” It became awkward all of a sudden.
“When are you returning home?” She asked.
“In a day or two time. Some things really need to be sorted.” I explained.
“Should I bring food over tomorrow?” I could sense her shyness.
“If you want.” I pushed it back to her.
Standing up, she smoothed her dress, “I would leave now. Becca must be waiting.”
“Sure. Thanks for the food.” I looked up at her, winking, and she blushed red.
A few seconds after her leaving, I heard the door click open again. I had thought it was Edwina; probably, she had forgotten something.
To my amusement, it was Caleb looking like he would pass out in the next minute.
Slumping into the couch opposite me, he looked me dead in the face, his eyes looking lost. “She just confessed to me.”
I stared at him like he had gone mad, “is everything okay with you? Who confessed?”
He looked out into space again, sighing at every passing second.
Caleb began to rant, almost scaring me. “So, Ramona and I were going at it in the office. We had been too carried away and forgot to lock the door. Becca walked in and saw us. She ran back out. I didn’t know what I was thinking, but I left Ramona to run after her…..”
“Wait a minute!” I cut in, “you did what? You stopped some indulging sweet s*x and ran out?”
He cut me a glare, shutting me up. “Okay,” I muttered, feeling pained.
“When I did find Becca, she admitted to loving me. Saying he has been loving me for a long while.”
I had my mouth agape at the latest revelation, “stop playing.” I said.
“Do I look like I’m telling a joke?” He was getting pissed; I could see that.
“First off, did you go back to Ramona to explain the situation to her?”
“She didn’t give me a chance to explain. Instead, landed me a swift slap on the cheek.” He turned the hurt cheek around for me to see.
“Offf, that looks vicious,” I gasped in a low tone.
“Can you quit playing around?” He cautioned.
I really wish I could feel bad for him, but in all sincerity, I didn’t. My wolf was too happy from the good time I just had before he breezed in to be able to take in the depth of his predicament.
“What’s bothering your mind now?” I asked, and I did mean this question.
“Becca.”
“Becca?”
“Yes.”
“Why? Shouldn’t you be worried about your woman breaking up with you?”
“Ramona can wait, what I can’t seem to figure out is Becca’s feelings towards me, and she had been good at hiding it for herself. But, thinking about it now, she had acted really awkward when I told her I was forming a relationship with Ramona. I remember the other day when I told her we had s*x, she had stayed frozen for some minutes.”
“Then your eyes have been blind to her feelings for you.” I speculated.
“How was I supposed to have known?” He threw his hands up.
“Maybe if you aren’t too rigid.”
Caleb scoffed, giving me a taunting look. “You are one to talk.”
“What the?” I opened my mouth, surprised at the turn of his jab. Then, slamming my hand on my thigh. “There is no way in hell I would help you out. You will sort this on your own.”
Taking a deep breath, he leaned further into the chair, resting his head. Ignoring me. “It’s not like I came to you for a solution in the first place.”
His admittance was a punch to my gut, “remind me to never listen to your problems again.”
“Remind me to put on a nose mask whenever the Luna brings your food over.”
I stared at him, confused and trying to figure out his words.
Caleb rolled his eyes, “I had smelt the remains of your arousal the moment I stepped in. And when you didn’t have any bone to sympathize with me, I knew just then that your brains had been f****d out.”
What he said wasn’t exactly funny, but it made me laugh. “I will take it you are heartbroken and hate to see people happy. Sorry for your situation, but I’m really not sorry.”
Staying quiet for a while, he sat up again. “What should I do? Should I go to her or call her?”
I shrugged, “you will need to give her some space to get over the embarrassment she must have felt by blurting out to you. Knowing Becca, she must be cursing herself out at the moment. You can send a text if you must communicate with her.”
Massaging the side of his head, “not you giving reasonable advice.”
“What the f**k?” I mouthed, grabbing a folder. My hand got a hold on flipping it at him.
“I’m so not going to help you out ever again,” I promised.
Not sparing me a glance, he rested his back, lying on the couch, staring at the ceiling.
I felt like ripping his neck off.
The Alpha’s Exchanged Mate – Chapter 130
Edwina’s POV…..
S*x is the utmost therapy; I repeat again, s*x is pure bliss. My body felt renewed like that of a newborn baby. I couldn’t shake off the happiness I was feeling from the depth of my heart. I liked how my bones stretched out as I moved.
I had met with Caleb on my way out of Xander’s office. I wondered why he looked disoriented despite his effort not to look it. When I asked after Becca, he said she should be downstairs.
Getting to the car, Becca was already seated. I had thought she would spend more time with him. But it was obvious they took their time, just like Xander and I did.
“Hey,” I whispered to her, not wanting to act inappropriate being the luna in front of the driver.
The driver nodded alongside Becca, who didn’t say a word. She looked distant, but I decided to not bother her about it till we got back to the pack house.
“Are you going to tell me what’s eating you up?” I threw at Becca the moment we stepped into the house, tired of waiting for her to get a hold of herself.
With the way her shoulders were slumped, and how hard she was trying to not make it obvious, I could tell something was wrong with her.
“Come with me!” I ordered this time as the Luna and not as a friend.
“Please, can I come with you later?” She begged.
“Now, Becca, don’t make me repeat myself,” I told her.
To think that I had made plans to freshen up and go to visit Sonia. But I wasn’t the type of person to ignore the feelings of the people around me. Becca had become a part of me that I did not intend to lose. It’s one thing to have a friend, but having one you can share your troubles with is a big blessing.
“Are you ready to talk now?” I asked her, locking the door behind me as we entered into my room.
Looking closely at her, it turned out she had been crying for a long while. Bags had formed underneath her eyes; crying really didn’t suit Becca.
Covering her face with her hands, she let out a painful m**n. “I feel like disappearing into the dark.” She mused.
I was getting anxious about what she had to say now, “stop beating around the bush, Becca.”
I pulled her to sit with me on the couch facing her.
“I saw both of them having s*x.” She stated.
Her mention of s*x had my head reeling back to my escapade with Xander, trying to remember if I had locked the door properly when we were getting at it.
“The door was not locked.” Becca continued, “I went in hoping to have some nice conversation with him. Then I saw them, and I ran out.”
Tears had formed in her eyes, and she had begun to cry.
“I’m not even supposed to feel this way. He has no such obligation towards me!” It sounded like she was trying to rebuke herself, placing a hand over her face, she hiccuped.
Trying to gather her thoughts, she spoke again, “I told him I was in love with him.”
That got every of my attention, “you what?”
Springing up like a bouncing bed, “I knew it. It was stupid of me, but my mouth was quick to do the talking before I could. There was no way I could hold myself back.”
“Calm down, Becca, calm down. Don’t beat yourself too hard. You are not the only one with a heart.”
Coming back to the seat next to me, she wailed silently into her hands. “it will never be the same again. Ramona would see me as an enemy, and Caleb would never speak to me again. I feel so bad!”
I didn’t bother to refuse her from crying. Sometimes I learned it was best to let the feelings out and not bottle them. It was necessary for Becca to let it all out.
“Caleb won’t stop talking to you,” I assured her, feeling certain that Caleb wasn’t a naive person. He sure should be able to handle it.
“What if he does?” Her eyes were really swollen now. I wish she would stop crying at this point.
“Trust me.”
Just as we talked, her phone message notification came on, and it was almost like the universe heard me speaking. Caleb sent her a text. With a shocked look on her face, she showed it to me.
It read, “please, Becca, I didn’t try calling to give you your space. Please, don’t go blank on me. I’m up for us to talk whenever you are ready.”
I beamed with pride, like a fortune teller who nailed her first client’s future right.
“I should get a few coins for that.” I grinned.
Becca half smiled, “you should get a whole lot more.”
Relaxing into the chair, I observed her. Becca’s empathy is worth emulating. All the while she was crying, she didn’t think of how bad expressing her feelings and not getting reciprocated would be. Instead, she was more concerned with getting into the bad books of Ramona and losing Caleb as a friend.
I never did think of what I could have done if I had confronted Ben on how bad he treated me. I was glad I could do so with my sister. It took a while, but we were able to get through it eventually, which was a big break for me.
My head snapped towards Becca immediately, “my sister!” I called out, standing up hurriedly.
Becca stood up with me, too, already apologizing for doing nothing. “I’m really sorry for keeping you. It wasn’t my intention. Let’s be on our way.”
She was acting too rigid, “calm your nerves, Becca. I wanted to talk to you, and that’s it. You aren’t coming with me today. Please do nothing for the rest of the day and rest. You need it.”
Her face lit up In a small beautiful smile. “Thank you so much.”
“Anytime, Becca.”
Walking out the door, I felt like this was going to be an actual turning point in Becca’s love life.
