Ch. 1811..1820

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1811-After a night of sinful indulgence, Bethany was woken up by one of the waitresses in the bathroom. She barely had time to clean her lower parts before she shamefully scuttled out of the backdoor of the club. She emerged to find that it was bright outside. It was already noon the next day.

Needless to say, she would not dare return to Tideview Manor in such a state.

With that, her only choice was to head to the luxurious suite in the Salvador Hotel that she used to occupy.

Upon arriving, she washed off all the sweat and other fluids on her body after sleeping with the man. The entire time, scenes of her passionate intercourse with the brazen man last night flashed across her mind.

Damn… He was very gifted down there and great in bed.

It was a shame she did not get his number. She would have loved to see him again!

After she was done cleaning up, she got changed into a new set of clothes the hotel staff brought for her. With that, the image of the noble and refined lady whose corrupted side was well hidden from the world had returned. After that, she had the driver take her back to Tideview Manor.

As soon as she stepped inside, she heard someone chatting and laughing in the living room.

"Do we have guests at home?" Bethany turned to the housekeeper and asked.

"Yes, Miss. Mayor Solloway is visiting with his wife and son. Chairman Salvador is entertaining them right now."

Bethany was slightly taken aback to hear this. She was silently cussing out the bratty bootlicker Jason, who was so quick to make a move.

With that, she hurriedly smoothed her hair and put on her best docile and charming smile before trotting into the living room. Sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ FindNʘᴠᴇl.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

"Dad, looks like you have guests over."

She acted as if she had stumbled into them and had accidentally cut off their conversation. "Oh, it's Mayor Solloway and Mrs. Solloway! Even Jason is here.

Good afternoon, everyone."

Gregory vaguely caught a whiff of the scent of alcohol on Bethany and instinctively frowned in displeasure. Despite that, he kept up his appearances in front of the guests.

The Solloway couple barely spared a glance in Bethany's direction. All they did was smile plainly in her direction before taking a sip from their respective teacups.

The cowardly Jason hardly dared to make eye contact with Bethany at all. He put on the best impression of a well-mannered son-in-law.

He was acting as if he were not the same man who had slept with Zoe last night.

"Chairman Salvador, it's such a shame that Carrie isn't around today. Jason has even prepared bunch of gifts for her and was hoping to give them to her in person." Mrs. Solloway remarked with a smile.

"Our son has never had a girlfriend his whole life and blushes at the sight of a girl. He sure is going all out for Carrie, haha!" Mayor Solloway chuckled while patting his son on the shoulder.

"Pfft!"

The comment was so unexpected that Bethany could not suppress her laughter!

The scene suddenly became incredibly awkward.

The Solloway couple wore stiffened smiles on their faces while cold sweat trickled down Jason's forehead. He was terrified that Bethany would expose him.

"Dad, I can confirm that what Mayor Solloway and Mrs. Solloway are saying is true. I used to be in the same school as Jason and hesm always been a grounded, härdworking man." Bethany glanced at Jason's pale expression and noted with meaning, "He's a perfect match for Carrie, I can't think of a better candidate for the son-in-law of our family. We go way back." A faint scowl greeted Gregory's lips, and his expression grew darker.

The mayor got up and remarked with a smile, "We'll be leaving. We wouldn't want to take up too much of your time."

"Chairman Salvador, let's set up another meeting when Carrie comes back. We should all bring our children together for another meeting." Mrs. Sollo way seemel me to very eager to suggest another meeting.

Gregory coughed faintly and expressed in a slightly troubleg m manner.

"You two must have seen the recent news. With my daughter's current mental state…"

"Oh, Chairman Salvador, just the fact that we came is a sign that we are not bothered by her condition. We don't mind at all."

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1812-ayor Solloway put on his best display of kindness and understanding while remarking cheerily, "Especially my son! He had a crush on Carrie since he was in school and simply could not forget about her since the time they met at the Iverson's party. He's obsessed with Carrie, so you don't have to worry about a thing at all. It's not a problem for us!"

Mrs. Solloway chimed in, "If you think about it, our son and your daughter are childhood sweethearts!"

Bethany snickered to herself upon hearing the remark.

At least they got the part about childhood sweethearts right, but it unfortunately did not apply to Carrie.

Gregory's tightened frown relaxed slightly upon hearing this.

After that, the Solloways got into the car and left Tideview Manor. The couple sat on one side of the car, while Jason sat across from them.

"It looks like you left a decent impression on Chairman Salvador."

Mayor Solloway noted, with his legs crossed. Judging by his lighter tone, it seemed like he had thought things through. "That little brat may not deserve you, but you do have a point that marrying her will be very helpful for my future election. Besides, if you were to become Gregory's son-in-law, it would help you get a big leg up in your future career prospects."

Jason wore a blank expression the entire time, with an unwilling look in his eyes.

Mayor Solloway noted his expression and sneered. "If you think about it, it's good that the girl has a mental condition. We wouldn't want her to start pushing us around when she marries into our family and stir up trouble for us. Just wait for a few years for her condition to worsen. By then, you would have cemented your position as her guardian and would get to claim whatever assets her family assigns to her." Mrs. Solloway stated with a spark in her eyes, "My son, you are the key to your father climbing up the ladder. His future is in your hands now."

She seemed very eager to take advantage of the marriage.

Meanwhile, Jason stared outside the window with a dark look in his eyes. He was thinking about what Zoe told him.

After the Solloways were gone, Bethany, who could hardly stand after her antics last night, was just preparing to head upstairs to rest when Gregory stopped her.

"How did you know that Mayor Solloway and his wife were here to discuss the marriage?"

Bethany was immediately thrown off guard and at a loss for words.

Her mind raced as she stammered her way through. "Oh… Haha, I just noticed they brought their son atong and seemed very excited with the presents. I figured they must be here to talk about marriage.

"Dad, are you… Are you going to wed Carrie to Jason Solloway?"

Gregory's hawk-like eyes narrowed slightly. A glacial, mysterious look flashed across them as he remarked, "As things stand, it's not going work out between Carrie and Ryan. Still, that doesn't mean Sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ Findɴovel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

my daughter should be left out to dry."

Upon hearing this, Bethany smirked smugly.

"I was only wondering who was working with the Hoffmans to set up my daughter."

Gregory hissed between his teeth.

"There is nothing I hate more than being betrayed. If I find out wholwas behind iNI am going to make them

regret ever having done that."

Bethany's joy immediately deflated in a matter of seconds, She felt as if her heart had sink to the bottom of her stomach.

At that point, they heard footsteps coming from outside the living room.

Soon, Justin, Matt, and Nigel, who was in a wheelchair, entered the living room.

Justin fixed an intense look at Bethany's rigid expression while addressing Gregory. "How rare it is that we share the same thoughts this time."

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1813-Something jerked inside Bethany the moment she saw Justin.

She felt like a mouse who ran into a cat. Her first instinct was to scamper away into the dark and never surface again.

Gregory's cold gaze swept across Justin's stern expression. Then Gregory hurriedly got up and approached Nigel. "Dad, you should have told me you were coming. I could have welcomed you outside." "It's not like I'm visiting as a guest.

This is my house! Besides, I wouldn't dare trouble Chairman Salvador himself to welcome me." Nigel scoffed. He had never been very pleasant with his son. The look in Gregory's eyes darkened.

It was clear that the old man was implying that Tideview Manor did not belong to Gregory. Gregory should not presume himself to be the owner of the place just because he lived here.

“Grandpa, I heard Carrie has been recovering at your place. How has she been doing? Is she feeling better?" Bethany perched awkwardly behind Gregory and pretended to express concern for her younger sister.

"She's feeling much better. The brat has been living a good life at my place."

With that, Nigel turned toward Justin and asked suspiciously, “Justin, seeing as you took me back here to see your father, did you have something you want to tell us?"

Justin lowered himself and straightened the cashmere blanket covering Nigel's lap. He narrowed his eyes and said, "Haven't you been wondering who was the one colluding with the Hoffmans by leaking Carrie's mental diagnosis report?

Dad, you also mentioned you wanted to find out who betrayed us, didn't you?

That person has been hiding in plain sight this entire time.” As soon as he finished his sentence, Justin cast a piercing look at Bethany, whose face was distorted with fear.

"Why, why are you looking at me?!" Bethany began sweating out of fear. She pathetically stumbled backward, even knocking over an expensive tea set on the table.

She cried out. "What are you trying to say? Are you suggesting that I was the one who leaked the information?! Even if you can't find the culprit, you shouldn't lash out and blame it on me!" Gregory and Nigel cast an astonished look at Bethany.

Nigel's eyes grew wide. His hand clenched fiercely around the armrest of the wheelchair while he asked, “Justin… Are you saying that Bethany was working with the Hoffmans to sabotage Carrie?!" Sᴇaʀch Thᴇ Findɴovel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Gregory shot a stern look at his son. "Justin, this is no laughing matter! Both Carrie and Bethany are your sisters. Even if you don't like Bethany, you can't accuse her of something like that just because of her history with Bella. You're going to have to show us some proof!"

Bethany jumped at the lifeline offered to her and immediately worked on shifting the narrative. "Yes! That's right! You're only doing this for Bella because you wanted to get on her good side!"

On the other side, Bella, who was not involved in this, suddenly sneezed and wondered if somebody had been badmouthing her.

Justin continued to glare at Bethany. Even without speaking, Bethany could feel her skin crawling.

It was almost comedic.

She could not help it. Her guilt was making her agitated.

"There are only four people who have access to Carrie's diagnosis reportGrandpa, Dad, myself, as well as Shannon, who has already passed know Grandpa and Dad would never do something like this. However, Shannon may have made some sort of deal with you and gave you Carrie's report before she went to prison." Justin's tone was flat and intimidating.

Bethany felt like there was something lodged in her throat, as if Justin were strangling her.

She could not accuse Nigel and Gregory of the crime, so she could only resort to something else. "Well, you could have done it too! Do you remember when Zoe revealed that Bella was infertile at the Reeds' dinner party last time? There was also the time when the Hoffmans got into it with the Thompsons!

"You must have done this because

you wanted to get revenge on the Hoffmans! can't believe you would even stoop low enoygh to sacrifice your sister Dont act like you haven't used worse tricks than this over the years against your business rivals.

"Bethany! Watch your tone around your brother!" Nigel reprimanded her.

"He has been giving his all, sacrifiging his health and sanity for salvador corporation and our family over the years. How could you attack him like this? If he is as despicable as you make him out to be, then all of us in the family are no better than him!"

Everyone in Savrow knows how cunning you can get!"

Judging by Gregory's darkening expression, it was clear that Bethany's outburst had made him very upset.

"Grandpa! How far are you going to go just to protect Justin?"

Bethany stamped her feet anxiously and desperately tried to defend • M herself."! know have made mistakes in the past, but it was Shannon who made me do it! She was the one who set me up!"

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1814-Bethany cried, "Justin can't just pin all the blame on me because of what happened in the past. It wasn't me!

"Justin, even if you were going to stir trouble, you should go to the Hoffmans!

Did you think our situation at home isn't bad enough as is?!" Gregory roared furiously. He was clearly taking Bethany's side. What upset Gregory further was the fact that the duo was in cahoots and seemed to be trying to usurp his position as the man of the house. He was sick of this!

"Ryan will take care of the Hoffmans, and I will take care of the situation at Salvador Corporation by myself. None of you have to be concerned."

Then, Justin directed a murderous glare at Bethany again. "Bethany, I'll ask you one last time. Were you the one who leaked Carrie's diagnosis report to Hoffmans?"

"No! I didn't have anything to do with it!" Bethany adamantly refused to admit her fault, her eyes reddening.

"Alright." Justin called out, "lan."

lan had been waiting outside the whole time. He strode inside and greeted the bosses with a respectful bow. "Old Master Nigel, Chairman."

"Bring out the present I prepared for Bethany." Justin's tone was flat, but the look on his face was otherwise ominous.

"Yes, sir." lan fixed a cold look on Bethany as he picked up the remote control from the table and turned on the TV in the living room.

He had even made a point of turning up the volume to the max so that Nigel and Gregory were not the only ones who could hear it. Even the maids lurking outside the hall and peeping at the scene could hear what was going on.

S~ᴇaʀᴄh the FɪndNovᴇl.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

"Come on… Harder! It feels so good… Screw me!"

The most perverse scene, along with its foul audio, immediately bombarded everyone present.

Bethany was seen inside a bathroom, stripped completely naked. A man was with her and had put her in various obscene positions. Both of their bodies were entwined together, and Bethany was passionately rocking her body back and forth while shrieking.

lan quickly looked away from the screen. This was not his first time being forced to watch such a display, and he would rather not have to see it again. It was too disgusting.

If the clip was sold, she could easily become a pornstar.

She was sultry enough for it. The only flaw was her figure.

Nigel and Gregory were in complete disbelief. How could the promiscuous woman on the screen be Bethany, of all people?

Suddenly, there was a round of commotion.

The pale-faced Bethany collapsed onto the coffee table. The contents of the glass soaked her skirt before she tremblingly collapsed onto the floor.

én.swnovels.net The man took a video of their affair last night. It had even ended up in Justin's hand.

Bethany thought, 'Was that man sent by Justin?! Was that man tasked with seducing me?!' "Enough! Turn it off right now!" Having been forced to watch his daughter in such a state, Gregory was beyond flushed.

Matt and Nigel hardly dared to face

the screen. In a fit of rage and shame Nigel pulled himself out of the m wheelchair and charged at Bethany, slapping her right across the face.

"You shameless brat! You're a disgrace to our family!"

"Ah!!" Bethany's cheek was numb with pain, and her ears buzzed.

The slap was so loud that even the maids outside could hear it. They could only imagine how furious Old Master Nigel was.

At this point, Justin gave lan the signal to turn off the TV.

Bethany was so terrified that her soul nearly departed her body. Beads of sweat were trickling down her forehead.

It was the most terrifying smile she had ever seen in her life. It was the smile of the devil himself.

"Bethany, do you want to end up like your mother? Do you want the whole country to gawk at your scandalous private life." Justin stared at her again with a malicious smile. "Was it you who gave the Hoffmans the report?"

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1815-At last, Bethany had broken down completely. She slumped on the floor and began to cry hysterically. "It… It was me…" Everyone was speechless.

Gregory was completely dumbfounded. He said in disbelief, "What did you say…

Repeat that again!"

"The report… Shannon gave it to me, then I gave it to Zoe… This was how it got out…" Bethany's tears flowed endlessly.

Now that what she had done had been exposed, she had to confess the truth to protect herself. She would rather admit the truth than have the entire country see her scandalous video.

Bethany compromised, thinking, 'What can my family do to me anyway? So what if I sabotaged Carrie?' Gregory valued the family's reputation and his image more than anything else in the world, so Bethany was sure he would step up to defend her.

"Why would Shannon give you Carrie's diagnosis report?!" Nigel was so furious that he could hardly catch his breath.

"I… I don't know… Maybe she's lost it because of all the drugs she's been using?"

"Did you use her drug habit against her to blackmail her into giving you something so you could destroy Carrie's marriage? That must be what happened, right?" Justin's eyes were ominously dark. He was erupting with anger.

"I… I…" Faced with the overbearing pressure, Bethany's mind went blank.

Justin's deduction was so accurate that she could not come up with a rebuttal in the heat of the moment.

"You scum! You are worse than scum!"

Nigel furiously slapped his thigh and managed to get up with Matt's help. "Carrie is your biological sister! You grew up with her, and she has always been kind to you… She trusted you as her elder sister… How could you do something like this to her?!"

"You are despicable! You're just like your dead mother!" Gregory was beyond disappointed in his daughter.

"You guys were the ones who forced me into doing this! Did you think this was only my fault?!"

Bethany began to scream madly. "Grandpa, you keep saying that you love me, your eldest granddaughter, but you only favor Carrie every time! I was the one who fell in love with Ryan first, so why did you pair Carrie with him? Why does she always get the good things? Am I supposed to be inferior to her?!"

Nigel was baffled upon hearing this.

In the blink of an eye, his expression darkened again. A drop of tears appeared behind his eyes that were colored with rage. Then he stepped forward and delivered a vicious slap again.

It was a far harder slap than the previous one.

Justin and Gregory were both shocked.

Bethany's eardrums were ringing from the pain and even pulsating. It hurt so much that she was sweating all over.

"The one thing I hate the most are women who get jealous of each other because of men! As if that wasn't enough, you would even stoop as low as to harm your sister, all just to steal love away from her!"

Nigel roared with rage while his heart ached. "Back then, I had fallen for your grandmother and wanted to marry her… Because of that, her evil sister beat her up so badly that she became deaf in her left ear!

Justin and Gregory were completely baffled.

Even Matt, who was the closest to Nigel, was completely stunned.

This explained why Nigel always spoke loudly to his wife back then. When there was nobody around, he would often draw up close to his wife and whisper in her ears.

This also explained why Old Madam Salvador, who enjoyed theaters and operas, was a poor singer who was always out of tune.

Despite that, Nigel would always listen to her sing. His eyes would be filled with adoration and tenderness, as if he would never tire of her voice no matter what.

Meanwhile, Old Madam Salvador, who lost her hearing in her left ear, had never complained about it. She always smiled radiantly and was full of kindness.

Nobody would ever believe that she had hearing loss.

It was Nigel who made up for her disabilities with his relentless devotion and love.

"What you have done today is no different from what that vicious woman had done in the past! No, you are worse than her, because you used someone else to do the dirty work for you!"

Nigel was beyond furious as he jabbed his finger at Bethany's pale face. "I won't have someone morally corrupt like you as my granddaughter! Don't you ever d.ne go around touting that you are Nigel Salvador's granddaughter! You don't Sᴇaʀ*ᴄh the (ꜰind)ɴʘvel.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

deserve the title!"

"Grandpa…"

Bethany was truly frantic by this point.

"Bethany, since you have confessed to the crime, there is nothing left for you to say."

Gregory was not fond of her, and her grandfather resented her. To make .C things worse, Justin was her enemy!

Could there still be a place for her in the Salvador family?

Justin cast an icy look at Gregory. "Dad, how are you going to deal with her?"

Gregory was not fond of her, and her grandfather resented her. To make .C things worse, Justin was her enemy!

Could there still be a place for her in the Salvador family?

At the same time, Gregory did not want Justin to handle the matter.

"Lock her up and make sure she doesn't step out of Tideview Manor. I will handle the rest!"

Justin shook his head faintly. "No, that's too light of a punishment."

Gregory frowned. "What are you thinking, then?"

"Cut off all her finances and banish her overseas. Make sure she never comes back to Savrow."

Every word Justin uttered cut deep like a knife. He was not going to back down.

"One more thing, she has to go to Carrie and apologize on her knees.”

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1816-Bethany was as pale as a sheet of paper. It was as if she had just seen a ghost.

She thought, 'Apologize to that fool on my knees? I would much rather be dead!' Bethany immediately turned toward Nigel. However, the old man was so upset with her that he would not even meet her gaze. It seemed like he was determined to punish her.

Seeing as Nigel was not going to help her, she resorted to pleading again. She immediately dropped to her knees at Gregory's feet and wrapped her arms around his thighs while begging hysterically. "Dad! I made a mistake… I will never do something like this again! Just forbidding me from leaving the house is enough to kill me. You can't go further and banish me from Savrow! You have

already punished me enough… I'm your daughter. Don't I deserve at least a little bit of grace and respect? Did you have to drag me across mud and torture me like this? Dad!!!"

She screamed and howled like a banshee. A bystander would have thought that she was the one suffering injustice.

Gregory frowned and tried to yank her up off the floor because of the optics she was presenting to the group of maids gawking outside. However, Bethany was glued to his legs like a leech. He doubted he could shake her off even if he kicked her.

"Justin, the punishment is severe enough as is. Just forget the part about needing her to apologize on her knees." Gregory declared curtly.

Judging by his tone, it was more of an order than a suggestion.

Justin's gaze was cold and piercing as he pursed his lips into a thin scowl.

A light suddenly gleamed in Bethany's swollen eyes. She felt like a phoenix reborn.

This meant that Gregory still had an ounce of sympathy for her. All she had to do was to bide her time until this episode blew over. Then she could sneak back to Savrow and live her carefree life. While she was silently celebrating, Justin suddenly spoke again.

"I object. She revealed information about Carrie's condition to someone who meant Carrie harm and made it public information. Think about how much she hurt Carrie. Are we just going to let this slide?" "Justin, don't go around thinking you can do whatever you want just because you're the president of Salvador Corporation."

Justin seemed to have struck a nerve in Gregory, who saw red immediately. "I am your father. You must obey me!"

"Bethany is your daughter, but what about Carrie? The fact that you let Carrie, who is innocent, suffer such a grievance is blatant favoritism. How could you let Bethany get away with it again and again when she is in the wrong?

Forgiveness should not come so easily."

Every word Justin uttered was curt and to the point. "It seems to me that you are just making light of Grandpa's anger. Choosing to handle it this way is the same as slapping Grandpa across the face!" Justin decided that since Gregory would use his elderly position against him, he would return the favor and use Grandpa Nigel's honored status against Gregory.

As they say, there is always a bigger fish.

"You…!" Having been parried with a perfect move, Gregory could hardly catch his breath.

Although Nigel did not speak, the firm look he fixed on Justin was a sign that he supported Justin's suggestion.

"You're right. Both Bethany and Carrie are my daughters. As a father, I can't bear to see my two daughters going at each other's throats. They are both my flesh and blood. When will this cycle of revenge stop?!"

Gregory continued, his eyes filled

with disdain, More importantly, I don't want to see my daughters clawing at each other's throats for the scumbag playboy, Ryan, of all people! My daughters are the most dignified pair of noble ladies in

Savrow! Who does Ryan think he is?!

"Even if he put on a suit, he could never trick someone into thinking he's royalty! He's just a little devil !!

1 raised in the slums, an arrogant brat who has never learned his place!

Someone like him has no right to marry my daughter!"

The look in Justin's eyes darkened again. His exposed hand underneath the intricate cuff of his shirt had clenched tightly into a fist.

If Gregory was not his birth father, he would have disfigured Gregory.

blame on Ryan. "I have always made sure my daughters were well taken care of growing up, but in the short time tha Carrie has been living with the Hoffman brat, nothing good has come out of it! Not only has she not been given a proper place in the household, but she has even gone through countless sufferings! I can't even get revenge because now there's a civil war under my roof!"

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1817-Gregory said, "Bethany may be in the wrong, but shouldn't most of the responsibility fall on the Hoffmans?!"

He immediately seized the narrative with his clever wit. "It has to be that nasty brat, Zoe, behind this! She has to be brainwashing Bethany, even threatening my daughter to do something like this!

"Even if that wasn't the case, it was ultimately the Hoffmans who went and published news of Carrie's condition to the world! Instead of going to our enemies to settle the score, you would turn against your family? Justin, whose side are you on?!"

Bethany immediately began to weep again. Just like her late mother, she knew best how to earn sympathy.

"Either way, we're sending her overseas. It's settled! I don't want any more trouble in my family!" Gregory declared stoutly. He was not going to allow any room for objections.

Justin's eyes were ominously dark. He was gnashing his teeth and doing his best to suppress the boiling rage inside him.

Still, he was not the type to act rashly in the heat of the moment. He realized that if he kept up the stalemate, it was only going to instigate Gregory further and that he was going to be more protective of Bethany.

"Fine, forget about having to apologize to Carrie.” With that, Justin proceeded to stride toward Bethany. In an unexpected gesture, he put a hand out to help her up.

Bethany was taken aback by the gesture. She stared at him in confusion and stumbled to her feet.

She had just managed to plant her feet when she heard a thunderous ring in her ears.

Smack!

Without a word, Justin had flexed every muscle in his arm and swung a ferocious slap across Bethany's face, which was already swollen as is.

The pain was so sharp that Bethany could hardly scream anymore. Blood trickled from the corners of her mouth, and all she could hear was incessant ringing like a thousand flies were hovering around her ears.

Justin was a man of military background. Furthermore, his palms were huge.

Forget about a woman; even a grown man would hardly be able to withstand a slap from him. His strength was not to be underestimated.

The maids watching outside were terrified and fell speechless.

Justin knew what he was doing. He even made a point to cup Bethany's face before slapping her.

"That one is for Carrie. You would sink low enough to hurt your sister. There is no shred of humanity in you."

He had hardly finished his sentence when he delivered yet another slap. This time, the impact threw Bethany to the ground, and she could hardly get up anymore.

"And this one is for Ryan. Your actions have made my best friend, whom I consider a brother, suffer heavily. You deserve this. Bethany, if you dare hurt the people around me again, will not let you get away with it, no matter where you run off to. When that happens, even God himself can't protect you."

After calmly issuing the final warning, Justin proceeded to push Nigel's wheel chair and departed with Matt trailing in the back.

Gregory was left rooted to the spot in a state of shock.

After gathering himself, he turned to Bethany, who was completely dizzy at this point He hissed sharply between his teeth, "You little

traitorous, corrupted scum! Gol.net on your feet, pack up, and get out of the country!"

"Dad… Dad…"

Bethany put a hand over her ears, which had turned red, and cried out hysterically "I'm deaf … Justin made me deaf! I can't hear anything!"

In an instant, Gregory's pupils tightened, and his heart dropped.

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1818-After what happened, there was no way Bethany could stay in Savrow any longer.

Despite that, Justin still seemed very upset.

After leaving Tideview Manor, he called Ryan, but there was no answer.

They had been friends for nearly two decades, but he could only count a handful of times when this had happened. It was a cause for concern.

That night, Bella brought a pack of little panda biscuits that Ralph bought and shared them with Carrie.

The room was filled with warm hues of light as Bella presented the snacks to Carrie. She spoke with a gentle voice, "Come on, Carrie. Try some. I got it this morning. I was so close to eating it, but I held back because I wanted to share them with you."

Carrie's slender figure was resting against the head of the bed. Her skin was fair and smooth like silk, but she looked frail and paler than usual, which was very concerning. She prompted, “Annie, go ahead and eat it if you want to. You don't have to wait for me."

Bella blinked in confusion. "That won't do. They were bought specifically for you!"

"Who bought it for me?"

Bella was slightly taken aback by the question. Meanwhile, the perceptive Carrie asked softly, "Was it… Ralph?"

"Yes, Ralph bought it for you." Bella saw no reason to hide it now that Carrie had figured it out.

"Did he come by?"

Carrie was a very pure person by nature. The thought of Ralph brought a gleam of light into her eyes. "Why didn't you tell him to come inside and sit for a bit after he made the trip here?" "He's a busy man. He needs to go back to the police station to handle a case."

"Then… Could you please call him later and thank him for me?" There was a sincere look in Carrie's eyes as she said that.

Bella smiled with a faint nod. An unexpected sour feeling rose to her chest.

She could tell that Carrie had no appetite at all. Carrie hardly had anything for dinner, so snacks were certainly not an option.

Despite that, Carrie powered through and ate the snack offered. She gulped it down in a few bites. Despite her redrimmed eyes, Carrie said, "It's tasty and very sweet.

Come on and have some too."

"Okay." Bella could not help but feel choked up. She clenched on a piece of little panda biscuit so hard that its face had become disfigured.

Carrie had learned to be mindful of other people's emotions. She did not want her relatives to worry about her either. During During the day, whenever her grandfather was around, she would eat everything enthusiastically to not worry him.

However, that was precisely what made Bella feel worse.

Carrie was all grown up now. Gone were the days of a carefree, innocent life she once had.

It was around this point when Bella noticed Carrie's draping hair and asked curiously, "Carrie, where did your favorite white jade hairpin go? Did you lose it?"

After what happened, there was no way Bethany could stay in Savrow any longer.

Bella felt something seize at her "I do."

heart. She immediately reached for Carrie's frail, icy hands and cried qut, C Carrie! You gave the hairpin back to Ryan? Are you ready to part with it?

Do you know what this means?"

Carrie's voice was so soft that it was barely audible. Something shone in her eyes and made them resemble cracked crystals. "It means … That it's over between me and him."

Bella felt something seize at her

"I do."

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1819-Carrie, look at me." Bella held Carrie by her bony shoulders and stared deep into her eyes. "Are you sure that's what you want? Do you have the heart to break things off with him? Don't do anything that you will regret later on. There are some people that you will never find again in your lifetime after you let them go!"

"I have thought about it carefully. This wasn't an impulsive choice."

Carrie smiled contentedly and slowly closed her eyes. "This is the best outcome for Ryan and for me. I'm glad that we have been together once and have had beautiful memories that can last us a lifetime. The one I loved was the vibrant Ryan who was so full of life. I want him to become himself again. Being with him is only going to restrict him and drag him down…"

Bella felt as if her heart was run over by a truck.

By the time Bella returned to her room with tears in her eyes, Justin was already waiting for her.

"Bella, why are your eyes red? Have you been crying?"

Justin went up to her and immediately circled his arms around her slender waist.

It was as if he had been waiting for ages to hold her in his arms. His voice was soft and full of love. "Who upset my wife? Tell me, I will make things right for you."

"As if anyone would ever dare to upset me with the great Mr. Salvador protecting me."

Bella rested her forehead against his shoulder and felt the surging heat from his body slowly fuse into hers. The comforting warmth soothed her thoughts until, at one point, she said, "It's Carrie." Justin seemed to grow nervous. "What about her?"

"She wants to end things with Ryan."

"Why?" Justin's breathing turned rapid.

"What happened this time really did a number on her. She's scared and tired at this point. She thinks she is dragging down Ryan."

Bella turned up to face Justin while hooking her arms around his neck. Then, she sighed exasperatedly. "I can understand how she feels. When you love someone so much, you think so much more about the consequences. At this point, she can't recklessly throw herself headfirst into love the way she did in the past."

"That explains it… I have been calling Ryan all day, but he hasn't picked up. I guess he found out about it too." Justin's jaw flexed ever so slightly. He could not help but worry about how his friend was holding up.

Ryan was now barraged by problems on all fronts, and his fiancee was going to leave him.

Today might just be the worst day of his life.

"Besides, even if Ryan does manage to sort out the problem with his family, what about things at Carrie's side? Grandpa and your father must despise the Hoffmans more than anything now. Why would they let Carrie marry him?"

Bella's eyes were filled with rage and helplessness have been thinking about my family's reaction to what happened to me in the past. If we were to compare situations, what happened to Carrie was far worse than what happened to me.

The entire Hoffman family is ganging up on poor Carrie to frame her. They're even treating her like a fool and doing all those nasty things to her!

об "Any parent with a hint of conscience would not send their child to a lion's den.

"Ryan is capable of protecting Carrie.

I think the reason it turned out this way is because someone has been lurking behind the scenes, directing the Hoffmans. Or better yet, whoever this is has been using the Hoffmans to do their dirty work."

The look in Justin's eyes darkened upon reaching this note, "I refuse to believe that those two scumbags, Zoe and Liam, are capable of this.'

Besides, does it look like Ryan can protect her at all? No! And who's to say something worse won't happen next time? Nobody in their right mind would take such a risk with their child."

"That's what I was thinking too. Let's wait for updates from Ralph."

Justin's phone vibrated just as Bella finished speaking.

He proceeded to put the call on speaker and answered, "What is it, lan?"

lan sounded like he was about to burst with excitement. "Mr. Salvador!

I just received some updates from our people. It's about Bethany.

Chairman Salvador had sent her to the hospital for treatment immediately after you slapped her today, and guess what? She's gone deaf!"

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1820-She's deaf?"

Justin seemed largely indifferent. Meanwhile, Bella cried out excitedly while her pearly eyes widened slightly.

"Yes! There is no mistaking it! I have received the medical report, and I will forward it to you two right now. She's still in the hospital, and last I heard, she has gone completely deaf in her left ear. She's beginning to develop hearing loss in her right ear, and she has to use a hearing aid now."

lan's overjoyed voice echoed around the room. "Mr. Salvador, bravo! You sure taught her a proper lesson and slapped the hearing out of her!"

"lan, you are exaggerating." Justin frowned faintly and remarked with a low chuckle.

Bella began to laugh out loud while clapping her hands enthusiastically. She clapped so hard that the webs of her palms turned red. “Hahaha! Wonderful!

God is fair, after all! Let's see if she still mocks Carrie from now on! Maybe now she will learn to watch her attitude."

Upon noticing Justin staring at her, Bella immediately zipped her smile. Her cheeks slowly reddened with a hint of shame. "Wait, am I being too… Mm…"

She barely managed to finish her sentence when Justin planted his lips against hers and drowned her in a passionate kiss.

He firmly held her supple body in his arms while running his palm all over the side of her hip, the favorite part of her body that he simply could not get enough of. Meanwhile, he continued to kiss her with burning fervor, parting her lips and teeth with his tongue.

When he felt Bella shuddering in his arms, he suddenly released her from his grip. Then he suggestively caressed her rosy lower lip with the tip of his thumb with a smirk. "What were you going to say? That you were a little too excited about the news?"

Bella stared deep into his starry eyes and seemed like she was going to get lost in them. Her eyes gleamed while she caught her breath.

"You know what I think? I think you should dial it up…"

Justin pressed his palm against the back of her waist. "I love it when you get nasty."

Bella's cheeks immediately turned beet red while she shyly beat her palms against his chest.

Soon, she noticed the pace of Justin's breath growing heavier. There was a lustful look beneath his eyes.

It looked like the man was in the mood.

"Young Madam, you won't believe how cool Mr. Salvador looked today!"

lan's loud and distinct voice shattered the romance hovering in the air. "Mr.

Salvador took Old Master Nigel with him today to meet Chairman Salvador. He taught Bethany a lesson right in front of everyone.

"Old Master Nigel was upset with Bethany and gave her a proper beating without caring about what the others thought. After that, Chairman Salvador wanted to protect Bethany for the sake of the family's reputation, but Mr.

Salvador didn't budge at all. He pushed for her tébe banished from Savrow and gave her two more proper slaps! I was surprised when I found out about her going deaf. What a nice bonus!"

Bella blinked and turned to fix a suspicious look at Justin.

"Bethany knows what she has done. There is no denying her crimes. To make things worse, she made the most insensible choice she could at the time and went to Gregory to plead for help. She did it right in front of me!"

There was a piercing and yet disinterested look in Justin's eyes. Despite that, his hands continued

running at one Bella's hips. "You can't blame me for her turning deaf. If you're going to blame someone, you should blame Gregory for not fofolowing through with my request to make her apologize to Carrie on her knees. If he had done that, I wouldn't have had to slap Bethany at all."

"Oh, my dear Mr. Salvador, you sure know how to justify your actions."

Bella saw through him immediately.

She hooked her finger around his tie and loosened it in one swift gesture.

"Are you some kind of barbarian who doesn't even know how to control your strength? Admit it, you did it intentionally. You wanted to ruin her.

Justin was no longer subtle about it. He gently kissed Bella. "I'm just as nasty as you. We're a perfect match."

"Well, not necessarily." A dark, layered look flashes across Bella's eyes. "Ian, how many days will she be hospitalized?"

"Only two or three days."

"Can you appoint someone to get close to her?"

"Her ward is closely guarded by Chairman Salvador's people, and the only person allowed is the attending doctor. I doubt we can get any of our people close to her at all." lan remarked in a troubled voice.

Bethany became yet another point of conflict in the already heated relationship between Justin and Gregory.
