Ch. 1891..1900
The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1891-"Hugh!"
Ralph cried out, his eyes filled with shattered tears.
The knife's tip had already pierced through Ralph's coat. The sharp, icy pain had penetrated his skin.
Yet, as if some unseen force paused it, Jace abruptly halted.
Jace stared at Ralph's grief-stricken face, his eyes empty and soulless. A wave of unprecedented dizziness washed over him.
In that moment of distraction, Ralph fired.
The bullet struck Jace's knife-wielding arm. Though the pain was excruciating, the man did not utter a sound. His brow furrowed deeply as the weapon fell from his grasp.
Ralph wanted to apprehend him, but he felt weak from the fight. He could not get up from the ground, only gripping his gun tightly to prevent any counterattack.
But Jace did nothing more to him.
Instead, he helped his fallen comrade and quickly disappeared into the forest.
Silence fell as if nothing had happened.
"Hugh… Is it really you? Is that you…?"
Ralph whispered, enduring the pain as he got up and called the police. "An attempted kidnapping just occurred at Savrow Amusement Park. I need backup here!"
Jace and Yvonne were both seriously injured. But as they sat in the car, neither spoke a word.
Jace drove one-handed, ignoring the bullet wound in his right arm. He said coolly to Yvonne, "You need to go to the hospital."
"We have a doctor at Pivotage… They can handle it." Yvonne bled profusely, and she was slightly dazed. Jace glanced at her. "You held back."
"What…" Yvonne's long lashes fluttered, her heart pounding.
"You know what I mean."
"I've already told you… I won't be a match against her. Are you suspecting me even when I got this seriously injured?"
Yvonne looked innocent, adopting a resigned attitude. "Pfft, if he wants to doubt me, he shouldn't send me here. I'm so done with this…"
"The more he suspects, the more he'll send you on missions. The more you go on missions, the more you'll reveal. Mr. Iverson is very cunning." Jace spoke more than usual tonight.
Maybe the bullet wound was genuinely painful, and he sought distraction through conversation. Yvonne grew increasingly anxious. She forced herself to stay calm and shifted her focus to Jace. "Don't just talk about me. Didn't you hold back, too? You had a chance to kill Ralph. Why didn't you do it?" "Once he fired the first shot, there would be a second and a third. Christopher wants me to risk my life for him, but he doesn't deserve it. The only person who can dictate my life is my boss."
Jace spoke indifferently, but Ralph's cry of "Hugh" echoed persistently in his mind.
It left him especially irritable.
"Yeah. After all, you're the boss's man. There's no need to risk your life for Mr.
Iverson…" Yvonne sighed bitterly, closing her eyes in exhaustion.
After a moment, she heard him murmur, "I only care about the mission. Once it's done, I don't concern myself with the rest."
With that, Yvonne's heart finally settled. She whispered, "Thank you."
After leaving the amusement park, Ryan immediately sent Dean to protect Selena, the crucial witness.
Then he called back to the Hoffman Residence, only to hear that his grandfather and his secretary had both been missing since the previous night.
Given the gravity of the situation and the fact that it had not been 48 hours, they could not officially report it as a disappearance. Everyone was in a panic, awaiting Ryan's instructions.
Ryan closed his eyes in pain.
The reality had shattered his last bit of hope.
His grandfather was, most likely, no longer alive.
New and old grudges surged within him. At that moment, Ryan wanted nothing more than to catch Liam, the heartless murderer, and make him pay with his life for his grandfather and father.
Ryan decided to break his agreement with Selena.
Even if she refused to testify about his father's death out of revenge, she C still had to be the witness to testify against Liam for killing his grandfather.
Just as Ryan made up his mind to call the police, Justin's urgent call came through.
"Ryan! Someone kidnapped Carrie!"
A thunderous roar erupted in Ryan's mind. His already devastated heart sank to the deepest depths of despair.
Yasmin and Ralph are doing everything they can to track the com kidnappers. The location is an abandoned factory in the western suburbs. Bella and I are on our way there now!"
The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1892-It was damp, dark, and cold…
A musty odor mixed with the intense scent of tobacco struck Carrie as she struggled to open her heavy eyelids. She could not distinguish between dream and reality.
In her daze, she felt a cold, snakelike hand caressing her skin.
"Who are you…?!"
As if escaping from a nightmare, Carrie jolted awake, only to find herself in another terrifying one.
Sitting by her bed, Jason Solloway's pale hand was creeping up her slender ankle, inch by inch, caressing her smooth skin.
"Don't… Don't touch me!"
Struggling desperately, Carrie trembled all over, only to find her hands and feet bound, unable to move.
She watched in helpless despair as the man's filthy hand roamed her body, filling her veins with the scorching heat of humiliation.
"Don't?"
Jason smirked, teasingly brushing his lips as he whispered in her soft ear, his breath heavy with desire." When you say this to your fiance, doesn't it mean you're trying to play hard to get? You've lived with a man for so long. Haven't you tried everything by now? Come, let's have some fun, my dear fiancee."
"You're not my fiance… You're not!" Carrie shook her head vigorously, tears brimming in her eyes, trying to dodge his disgusting touch.
"Don't push your luck!"
Jason lost his patience, his true nature showing as he slapped her hard.
"You're nothing but a mentally ill woman abandoned by the Hoffman family. The Solloways graciously took you in. Yet, you dare to cheat on me with another man? Do you think that the Thompson boy will take you in? He's just enjoying the thrill of the chase! I despise Ryan, so I must marry you to make him watch his woman fall into another man's hands!"
As he spoke, Jason climbed onto the bed, pinning Carrie's delicate body under him. He undid his tie, and his eyes were gleaming with unfulfilled desire. "You're no longer a virgin. Ryan has already had his way with you. One more time with me won't make a difference. Let's treat tonight as our wedding night."
Carrie trembled uncontrollably, tears rolling down her pale cheeks like broken pearls. Struggling, she cried out with her hoarse voice, "Get off me… Go away!
Don't touch me!"
However, in Jason's deranged mind, her resistance only fueled his excitement.
The sight of her tear-streaked and delicate face ignited a dark fire within him. It made him want to torment her even more.
Would the evil desires of his youth finally find fulfillment tonight?
As soon as Jason unbuckled his belt, the bedroom door suddenly flung open.
A man and a woman stood in the doorway. Their attire instantly marked them as wealthy heirs.
"Well, aren't you in such a rush to force yourself on her?" The woman in a red Chanel dress crossed her arms, watching with a smirk.
Jason, didn't I tell you back in school? You've always had a thing for Carrie. You just didn't realize it " The eyes of the manin a tailored blue suit E roamed over the disheveled girl on the bed. He licked his lips and said, "What's that saying again? When old classmates meet, they get it on!
Hahaha!"
Through her tears, Carrie recognized the two of them. Her body went rigid.
A wave of nausea and cold dread spread through her entire being, freezing every nerve.
After all these years, Carrie thought she had forgotten about them, But with just one look, she could name them all. Even if they turned to ash, she would recognize them.
They were the six demons.
They were the demons who had inflicted three years of agony upon her during middle school.
The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1893-"Why'd you barge in knowing I'm busy? You're a real buzzkill," Jason muttered as he slowly buckled his belt, his face dark with displeasure. The man in the blue suit flicked his cigarette to the ground. "You can finish up later. Zoe wants us to bring her over now."
Upon hearing Zoe's name, Carrie felt a wave of dizziness. She felt like she was falling into the depths of a hopeless inferno.
*
Justin, Bella, Steven, and lan sped toward the western suburbs.
Ralph was seriously injured, but he insisted on leading the operation himself.
They were to meet at the abandoned factory.
They kept Carrie's kidnapping under tight wraps, fearing that any leaks could harm the interests of both the Salvador and Hoffman families. Besides, they thought the news could be too much for their grandfather to bear.
Moreover, if the kidnappers got wind of it, Carrie's life could be at greater risk.
On the way to the location, Justin received news from Ryan that Liam might have murdered Logan and immediately helped him report it to the police.
Overwhelmed with panic, tears brimmed in Bella's reddened eyes.
What was supposed to be a pleasant date night had turned into a nightmare.
How could anyone have the audacity to kidnap Carrie right under Ralph's nose?
"Ryan said that Selena wanted to discuss her divorce with Old Master Logan yesterday. However, she ended up witnessing Liam and his secretary disposing of the old man's body instead," Justin said, holding Bella's hand tightly. His dark eyes were grave.
"He committed patricide for his own selfish desires. Liam deserves to be a worm in his next life!" Bella seethed, her beautiful eyes burning with rage.
"Liam's men are now hunting for Selena all over the city. Desperate, she sought out Ryan, using evidence of Liam's crime as a bargaining chip for her safety."
"People come together for profit and disperse when it's gone. None of them deserve any pity!"
Bella clutched Justin's hand tightly, shaking her head in anguish. "I used to think Ryan, as the eldest าวน์ grandson of the Hoffman family, would grow up pampered and loved by his mother and grandfather. thought he would be much happier than you. But I was wrong. Every family has its struggles. But Ryan chose to suffer in silence."
"Ryan had told me multiple times…"
Justin's deep, hoarse voice carried a note of sorrow. "Since his father's death, the happiest moments of his life were those spent with Carrie. She made him realize that he could love like an ordinary man. Carrie taught him what love is."
Upon hearing this, Bella's long-held tears finally fell.
After choking up momentarily, she murmured, "Carrie will be alright. They will be together."
Justin lowered his brooding eyes, wrapping his arms around the woman he loved. "They will be."
"Steve, how much longer until we reach the western suburbs?" Bella asked urgently after composing herself.
"Ms. Bella, the navigation shows the
road ahead is under construction.
We'll need to take a detour. Even with the car at full speed, it'll take around twenty minutes!" Steven replied. He gripped the steering wheel so tightly that his knuckles turned white, and a thin sheen of sweat formed on his forehead.
"Damn it! It's going to take another twenty minutes!"
Bella pounded her fist against the window, her almond eyes blazing like fire. "Now, we can only hope that the kidnappers objective isn't to take Carrie's life but something else. As long as they're driven by greed, Carrie has a chance!"
Just then, Bella's phone rang. It was a call from Yasmin.
Bella answered immediately, her voice frantic, "Yasmin, are you there already?!"
"Ms. Thompson, that woman tricked me!"
Yasmin panted, each word dripping with anger. "I'm at the abandoned factory in the western suburbs right now. I've searched the entire place thoroughly, but there's no sign of Young Madam!"
The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1894-"Carrie isn't there?!"
Upon hearing the grim news, Bella and Justin panicked.
"She's not! I've searched everywhere, but she's nowhere to be found!" Yasmin's voice carried a hint of tears.
Bella forced herself to stay calm, softening her tone to soothe Yasmin's emotions.
"Yasmin, earlier, you only told us that the kidnappers might've taken Carrie to the abandoned factory in the western suburbs. Now, tell me everything that happened. Who told you they took Carrie there?" "Mr. Ralph and I had nearly
caught up with the kidnappers. But the same assassin who took Carrie last time came out and blocked our way!"
"Him again?!" Bella felt her heart clench.
The image of Carrie's sketch, which eerily resembled her brother, Hugh, flashed in her mind.
"I couldn't beat him, so Mr. Ralph decided to hold him off while I went to rescue Young Madam!"
Yasmin gritted her teeth. "But this time, he had an accomplice, a woman! She fought me for a bit before deliberately injuring herself with my blade. Then, she secretly told me the kidnappers took Young Madam to the factory and urged me to hurry there. I thought she was an ally, but it was a ruse. It was a diversion tactic! She sent me away to make it easier to attack Mr. Ralph! Ms. Thompson…
I'm such an idiot! I should just die!"
"Yasmin, Ralph is fine. He's already leading a team toward the location. Don't worry. Don't blame yourself either." Justin's deep, calm voice patiently reassured Yasmin.
Bella thought quickly. A sudden realization struck her. She asked urgently, "What did that woman look like?"
"She wore a mask, but her eyes left a deep impression on me."
Yasmin confidently said, "They looked very much like yours."
"I see."
Bella took a deep breath, her tightly coiled nerves finally relaxing a bit "Yasmin, she's our ally. I can't reveal her identity for her safety, but believe the information she gave you is real and reliable!"
At this point, Justin had already figured out the woman's identity. However, his brows furrowed even deeper with concern.
Still anxious, Yasmin asked hoarsely, "If the information is accurate, why can't I find Young Madam?!"
"Maybe she only overheard certain details and missed the specifics. But I'm sure Carrie wouldn't be too far from that area!"
Bella clenched her fists tightly. Her gaze was as sharp as an eagle's. "That area is remote and desolate. There's nothing but that factory, with no residential areas or other buildings nearby. Search the vicinity carefully. You're bound to find something!"
"Alright!"
As soon as the call ended, the couple exchanged a knowing look and spoke in unison, "Christopher!"
Whether it was this or the previous time, Christopher had always been the mastermind!
This explained why Liam could find such a powerful helper. It was because the assassin was one of Christopher's men.
It was Christopher pulling the strings.
He attempted to use Liam to destroy Ryan, bring down the Hoffman family, and reap the benefits after the chaos.
What sent chills down Bella's spine was that Christopher, having frequented the Thompson household since childhood, must have known and recognized Hugh.
Despite knowing the assassin's resemblance to her brother, Christopher still chose to use him to harm her and Justin's dearest friends.
Such insidious, ruthless, and deranged tactics!
As Bella contemplated, Justin's eyes darkened it looked as though they were brewing a storm of rage. "f Won't go easy on anyone who messes with my sister and my best friend. I'm going to kill Christopher!'
The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1895-"No, we can't alarm Christopher!" Bella firmly pressed down on Justin's shoulder, her delicate brows furrowed. "Who do you think will be in danger if we involve him in this?" Justin's eyes widened slightly, "Yvonne."
"Previously, Yvonne helped Drew escape from Pivotage and provided us with crucial information that led to James' downfall. Now, she's risking her life to reveal Carrie's location. It's clear she has switched sides and is our ally! If we confront Christopher now, we'll put Yvonne in grave danger. Given Christopher's ruthless nature, he'll kill her in a fit of rage.
Justin felt a sharp pain in his chest. His heart was heavy with suppressed emotions.
He wrapped his arm around Bella's waist, pulling her close, his low and hoarse voice whispering near her ear, "Bella, you're too kind. You never want to betray or harm anyone who has helped you before."
"I believe that anyone with a shred of conscience cannot tolerate Christopher's action and only serves him because they have no choice." Bella felt her heart aching, but her gaze was resolute. "As long as she holds on to that bit of light, I'm willing to be her beacon."
Under the influence of the drug, Carrie's head remained heavy. Jason's slap had left her porcelain-like cheeks swollen. Jason and the man in the blue suit dragged her out of the bedroom and tossed her to the ground without a shred of care.
Carrie's frail body hit the floor hard, her delicate spine curling in pain, and her long lashes glistening with tears.
Even in such a pitiful state, disheveled and lying on the ground, Carrie retained a hauntingly fragile beauty, like a shattered jade.
The two men watching could not take their eyes off her, their Adam's apples bobbing.
Noticing the evident arousal, the woman in the red dress sneered with disdain and jealousy. "Back in school, you all couldn't stand Carrie. Now, have your tastes changed?"
"She hadn't blossomed back then.
Who knew she'd turn out this stunning? Who wouldn't get mesmerized by her?"
A man in a white leisure suit said this while laughing wickedly.
"No wonder there are rumors that Ryan settled down after keeping this beauty. If had such a gem at home, I wouldnt be interested in looking for more either.
Besides, Carrie is simple-minded. A naive woman is always easier to control,"
another man remarked.
The woman in the red dress shot him a cold look. "Oh, it seems like you're already planning the kids' names, huh? Why don't you marry her then, Mr.
Wales?"
Ivan Wales quickly backed off. "No, no. If my dad found out I married a mentally ill woman, he'd beat me to death!"
Carrie half-closed her swollen eyelids, her complexion paler than snow. She looked as if she were on the verge of breaking.
In a daze, she saw a pair of figures approaching her.
Just then, a voice, dripping with a playful tone, drifted into her ears from above.
"Carrie, look up and see who's here to see you."
It was Zoe's voice.
Barely clinging to consciousness Carrie struggled to lift her eyelids .
The next moment, her bloodshot eyes widened gradually. As if a sharp C needle had pierced her throat , a choked cry forced its way out.
Be … tha … ny … "
"Tsk, how rude. Not even a 'sister'.” Bethany looked down at Carrie coldly, giving her a disdainful kick.
"Do you know how difficult it was for us sisters to meet again? Do you know how much effort it took for your dear sister to return to Savrow?
Do you know how miserable. was abroad these past few days? Tonight Is a rare opportunity for us to get together. We need to catch up properly and settle some old scores."
The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1896-Carrie stared at Bethany's repulsive face for a moment.
The eyes that had once been dull and lifeless from the torture were now shining bright and clear. When her eyes met Bethany's angry expression, it only fueled her rage even more! "You fool! Don't you dare look at me that way with those eyes!"
Bethany glared furiously and was about to kick her again, but was stopped by Zoe.
"Alright, alright, if you want to let out your frustration, I'll give you time to do it later."
At that moment, Ivan yawned lazily. "Zoe, why did you gather us from all around the world to this remote mountain? Couldn't you have chosen a more decent place for the class reunion?" Jason glanced at him coldly, "A decent place wouldn't have let you witness this great show, would it? After all these years, why is your brain still like a child's?" "Damn it, you…"
Ivan was about to lash out angrily but was stopped just in time by the young woman in the red dress, who signaled him to hold back with a shake of her head.
The Solloway family was thriving in the political scene of Savrow. These rich kids had no morals but were exceptionally adept at currying favor and going with the flow.
"Ms. Hoffman, stop keeping us in suspense. What did you call us here for?" The man in the blue suit asked with a cheeky grin.
Relishing their curiosity, Zoe walked to the corner where an old, dusty piano stood. She lifted the lid, revealing the black and white keys, which were as new as ever.
She swiftly ran her fingers across the piano keys, creating an eerie sound that echoed through the empty living room.
Carrie curled up into a ball, her body trembling with pain. Tears streamed down her face as she was consumed by terrified hopelessness. She bit her pale lips until they bled, but she couldn't stop the dark memories from flooding her mind.
In the past, a group of students regularly bullied her in an abandoned music classroom, and Zoe was the one who would play the piano during these cruel incidents. The combined physical and emotional abuse left her deeply traumatized, worsening her condition. Now, even the mere sound of the piano filled her with inexplicable fear.
"I've gathered all of my old friends here today because it's been a long time since I've seen you all. I missed all of you," Zoe said, casually tossing her meticulously styled brown curls, her smile both alluring and somewhat mocking.
She continued, "Also, I wanted to see which one of my dear classmates decided to betray me."
As soon as Zoe made that remark, the group exchanged surprised and bewildered glances.
The young woman in the red dress chuckled. "Zoe, what made you say that?"
Zoe sneered coldly, took out her phone, and played a video that Liam had secretly recorded ten years ago to threaten her.
The video clearly showed Zoe cornering Carrie against the wall, laughing as she slapped Carrie several times.
"I remember that some of you were there at the time. Who's going to come forward and admit it?"
The air was thick with silence.
"It doesn't matter if nobody wants to admit to it."
Zoe smiled, her eyes filled with malice, as she scanned the group. "Ladies, feel free to slap this fool a few more times. As for the gentlemen, just fuck her for me, and I'll record the whole thing with my phone. That way, you'll have dirt on me, and I'll have dirt on you. We'll call it even, and I'll let bygones be bygones."
Carrie felt completely overwhelmed, as if she had fallen off a cliff, plunging into a hellish abyss with no way out.
All the men present were furious, including Jason. Previously, Zoe had promised him that Carrie was his alone to enjoy. How did it become a free-for-all now?
"Zoe, you've lost your mind! This is gang rape! You could go to jail for this!" Although Ivan was tempted, he didn't have the courage to go through with it. He bolted for the door and said, "I'm not doing this. I've got plenty of women and I'm not taking this risk. Whoever screwed you over, go after them. I'm out of here!"
"You can't leave." Zoe's eyes darkened fiercely. "I've had my people lock down the villa, and I'll kill anyone who tries to leave. Those !!
who die but here can be easily disposed of. I'll just bury them in some random graver I wonder how your parents would feel about that.
The group appeared visibly anxious, sweating profusely.
The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1897-Someone secretly took out their phone to call for help, only to find there was no signal at all!
The Hoffman family was one of the four major families in Savrow, and their background was anything but clean, with connections in both the underworld and the business world.
When they were younger, they played around without thinking of the consequences. Now that they were all grown up, they knew how to get what they wanted and avoided trouble. How could they not be afraid? "I know what you're afraid of. Don't worry, Carrie won't be walking out of this place alive
tonight." Bethany's lips curled into a wicked grin as she glared at Carrie with malice and madness. "This way, we're all in this together. No one will ever find out whatever happens to her tonight."
Despite her convincing words, several people still hesitated to step forward.
The first one to go would receive the maximum penalty.
"Hmph, each of you acts like a king on your own territory, but when faced with a critical moment, you're all useless." Zoe sneered, her sinister gaze falling on Jason's face.
The humiliation Jason had endured from the Thompson family, the Salvador family, and his father had already filled him with deep resentment. Additionally, the recent matchmaking between the two families stirred up a faint, unclear affection for Carrie.
From the moment Jason saw this young woman being gently protected by Ryan at the Iverson family's banquet, his heart was moved.
After becoming her fiancé, his desire to completely possess her only grew stronger.
Jason felt a malicious thrill as he approached Carrie, who was lying motionless.
To make it easier to deal with her, he untied the rope around her ankles, which were chafed and bloodied.
The men in the blue suit and athletic wear stared intensely, their bodies flush with unrelenting heat as their imaginations ran wild.
At that moment, Carrie's face was completely devoid of expression, her dark empty eyes lacking any spark of life.
Jason gripped her hair tightly with his fingers, forcing her to lift her head and meet his gaze. "Carrie, we're finally going to consummate our marriage. Don't be afraid, I'll make you feel good…"
As he spoke, he couldn't hold back any longer and fiercely kissed her swollen, bloody lips, easily prying her mouth open.
Jason was overwhelmed with desire, savoring the softness and sweetness of her lips. 'Ryan really knows how to enjoy himself!' Meanwhile, his other hand was fumbling to undo his pants. The lust was driving him crazy.
Despite being mentally prepared, Zoe could not help but feel jealous when she saw her lover being intimate with the woman she despised the most.
She clenched her jaw and snatched Carrie's beloved teddy bear. Her eyes narrowed with spite as she waved the teddy in front of Carrie.
The next second, she violently ripped the teddy bear's head off and hurled it to the ground, stomping on it furiously in a fit of rage!
Hahaha! Tear it apart! I've always despised that hideous thing." Bethany clapped her hands , applauding .
Carrie's bloodshot eyes widened suddenly, tears of hatred rolling down her cheeks one after another. "Ah -! "
Suddenly, Jason jumped up from the ground, letting out a frightened cry while covering his mouth. Sweat streamed down his face as he com mumbled incoherently , fresh blood continually seeping through his fingers! Carrie's breathing was heavy and labored, her eyes burning with intense anger as she glared at Zoe, forcefully spitting on the ground.
Seeing the bloody object on the floor, everyone stepped back in fright-it was half of Jason's tongue!
Zoe and Bethany were caught off guard, too stunned to move. They didn't think destroying that teddy bear would awaken the beast inside Carrie.
With blood all over her mouth, Carrie staggered up from the ground and charged straight at Zoe.
"Aah! My ear!"
Carrie shoved Zoe against the wall and sank her teeth into Zoe's ear, refusing to let go as Zoe shrieked like a pig in a slaughterhouse.
The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1898-Justin and Bella, along with Ryan, arrived at the courtyard of the abandoned factory at the same time.
As Ryan stepped out of the sports car, his face was completely drained of color.
His eyes were dark and cold, the pupils glinting with intensity under the glare of the car's headlights.
"Where is Carrie? Are there any updates?!" His eyes were strained, and his lips were dry and cracked.
His overly hoarse voice made his words sound fragmented.
Seeing this, Justin felt an indescribable pain in his heart. In a single evening, Ryan was hit with one blow after another, like a series of thunderous shocks.
Despite his composed exterior, he was falling apart on the inside.
"Yasmin got here earlier and has been tracking her down. I tried calling her but can't get through to her anymore!" Bella said, pulling out her phone and clenching her jaw. "All signals here are blocked. The kidnappers chose this place on purpose! Those sneaky bastards!"
Justin pulled Bella into his arms and said, "Bella, don't panic. I was expecting this. Ian has already contacted Salvador Corporation's telecommunications team to quickly set up portable satellite stations and some new equipment. We should be able to get a decent signal back up."
He had anticipated this crisis and made preparations accordingly. After all, this was not his first time dealing with such a situation. What Carrie was experiencing now was something he had personally gone through when he was younger.
"Yasmin has a knack for tracking people down. She'll be fine… She'll find her…"
Ryan's pale lips quivered as he repeated these words, uncertain if he was trying to reassure the others or himself.
Disregarding them, Ryan walked toward the back of the mountain, only to be stopped by Justin. "Ryan, where are you going?"
"To search for Carrie." Ryan's eyes had a dazed look.
"On your own? You won't find her even if you scale the mountains!"
Justin's gaze was intense. "Stay calm. Bella and I have sent people to search for her, and Ralph will be here soon!"
"Stay calm… Justin, the one who was kidnapped is Carrie! She's my life!" Ryan suddenly grew frantic, his eyes turning red. "I have nothing left. Carrie is all I have… If something happens to her… If anything at all happens to her…"
He could not speak anymore.
Though he was still alive, he felt no different from being dead inside.
At this moment, Ralph arrived with the police force. They surrounded the entire factory grounds, and drones were deployed to search the entire western suburbs.
"Team One, thoroughly search the back of the mountain! Team Two, come with me!"
"Yes, Captain Ralph!"
Ralph's chest hurt with each breath from the beating by Jace.
Though his colleagues urged him to go to the hospital, concerned that his injuries could be life- threatening if left untreated, Ralph could not bring himself to worry about his own wellbeing. His sole focus was Carrie's safety.
"Ralph!" Bella noticed how rough he looked, so she hurried over to help him.
"Don't worry, I'm fine."
Ralph took a deep breath. When he glanced at Ryan, he felt a twinge of guilt.
"Mr. Hoffman, I'm really sorry. I…"
It's not your fault." Ryan interrupted him, his words trailing off into the chilly air. "You've been (protecting' e Carrie with all your heart, I know. The people who kidnapped Carrie were probably after me. I'm the one who put Carrie in danger."
Upon hearing this, Ralph felt even more guilty. He wished Ryan would grab his collar and punch him, cursing him with the harshest words.
Carrie's hands were still tied, but she was like a little lion running rampant in a cage. She fought back fiercely and hysterically at her captors, who had caused her so much pain.
But her fragile body was soon knocked to the ground.
The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1899-"Hit her… Hit her hard!"
Zoe clutched her injured ear, her expression filled with rage as she shouted, "If you don't beat her, do you want to be bitten by her?!"
The other four people were terrified. No one wanted to end up like Jason, so they began punching and kicking Carrie.
Someone kicked Carrie in the stomach, and the intense pain caused her to cough up a mouthful of blood.
Her body was brutally tortured.
Yet Carrie only smiled, feeling more relaxed than ever. For the first time in her life, she fought with all her might to stand up for herself. Even if she died today, she had no regrets.
Bethany watched the spectacle, clutching her belly in laughter, utterly amused.
"Did I call you here just to let you enjoy the show?" Zoe sneered, shoving her roughly. "She's already half- dead. Go and finish her off!"
Bethany pointed at herself. "Me? Why don't you do it?"
"I'm giving you the chance to kill your enemy. Do you expect me to do the dirty work myself?"
"Haha… Zoe, do you really think I'm stupid? If I did it, I'd be a murderer, wouldn't I?" Bethany crossed her arms and said, "If you want to kill or behead her, then do it yourself. Why should I take the risk for you? I wouldn't even help my own mother, let alone you."
"Bethany!" Zoe shouted in fury, "You deaf bitch! You deserved to end up like this!"
The insulting term "deaf bitch" was caught in Bethany's throat. She laughed sinisterly. "I'm not just a deaf bitch. I also have AIDS."
"What?!" Zoe stepped back in horror, feeling sick to her stomach. "You bitch, you actually have such a filthy disease?! Stay away from me!"
"Stay away from you? Haha… Too late. We're on the same boat now." Bethany's eyes were wild and sickly. "Ms. Zoe, welcome to the world of AIDS."
"What are you saying…"
"Remember the coffee I treated you to last time? To express my gratitude, I added a special ingredient to it -my blood."
Zoe felt like she was struck by lightning, her world spinning. The memory of that coffee suddenly came rushing back. That bizarre metallic flavor…
"Ugh!" She bent over, clutching her chest, vomiting everything she had.
At the same time, a loud clamor echoed from downstairs, followed by rapid footsteps.
With a tremendous bang, the door was kicked open. Armed with a blade Yasmin burst indike a Grim Reaper.
These pampered bullies were no match for this elite bodyguard.
In no time, she had all five of them on the ground, her knife slicing through their hands and feet with lightning speed.
Regardless of gender, no one was spared. She severed their tendons, rendering them helpless.
The continuous screams turned the place into a blood-soaked slaughterhouse.
When it came to Jason, who was already half mute, Yasmin stabbed him twice more in the legs, avenging er boss for this scoundrel's assault on his beloved wife!
"Run… Run!"
Zoe and Bethany tried to flee in terror, but Yasmin wasn't about to give these monsters a chance to escape.
The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1900-Yasmin leaped forward, grabbing both girls by the hair with such force that they felt as if their scalps were being ripped off.
"Ahh!"
Yasmin, ruthless and silent, slammed their vile heads together with all her might.
Zoe and Bethany dropped to the ground like lifeless chickens, instantly knocked unconscious.
Yasmin's chest heaved with a mix of hatred and anguish. She wanted to kill them, but she knew these two despicable creatures needed to be left for Ryan
and Justin to personally deal with. Only then would true satisfaction be achieved.
"Young Madam!"
Yasmin kneeled beside the battered Carrie, her blood-stained hands gently lifting Carrie's limp body, trembling as she embraced her.
"Yasmin…" Carrie struggled to smile, her lips barely curling into a faint arc, still trying to comfort her. "I … I'm okay… I covered my head… I fought back… I will never let… Anyone… Bully me again…"
"Well done, Young Madam… Well done!"
Yasmin wiped her tears away and cradled Carrie's bruised body in her arms.
"Let's go. I am taking you home… We're going home!"
As she stepped out the door, she suddenly froze. There were two gun muzzles pressed against her head.
Bella's voice was heavy with concern as she asked Ralph, "Has Chairman Hoffman's body been found?"
Ralph frowned and replied, "Yes. The search team found it so quickly that they felt something was off about the whole situation."
The three of them looked at him in bewilderment. "What do you mean?!"
"According to the witness, Selena said that Liam instructed his secretary to dispose of the body in the west area, claiming there were hardly any cameras in that area. But that region is actually a major government development site, with surveillance cameras everywhere. The bodies weren't even buried. It was simply left by the highway, as if they didn't care if the bodies were found."
A dark glint flashed in Justin's eyes. "Logan was just murdered last night, and today Carrie was kidnapped. Liam was definitely involved in both cases!"
"No… No!" Bella was stunned, her face growing pale as a dark, ominous feeling overcame her.
Just then, Steven rushed over with his phone in panic.
"Ms. Bella! Mr. Salvador! Something's wrong. Look at this!"
They all looked at the screen. On a certain platform, an anonymous and mysterious livestream had gathered twenty to thirty thousand viewers. To their shock, the live feed showed Carrie being tortured by Zoe and Bethany's gang!
From Jason's attempted rape, to when she resisted, to her being beaten by the five of them… The entire brutal process was recorded by hidden cameras and broadcasted online.
The livestream had a title- [The Tragic Fate of the Salvador Family Heiress: Bullied by Zoe Hoffman for Years, Live Execution of the Bullies Tonight!]
Carrie!" Ryan cried out, tears welling up in his eyes. The woman he 18 m cherished as his beloved treasure was being cruelly trampled, bullied, and humiliated by these scumbags!
The livestream proved these villains would be exposed, but it was also agonizing to watch, tearing Ryan's heart apart with each passing moment.
"Carrie!" Justin and Ralph cried out in anguish.
Just then, Bella realized something even more horrifying and cried out anxiously, "It's Liam He set up this livestream! He's doing this intentionally! He planned this all along, and Carrie's life is in danger!"
