The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1901-As the livestream appeared, the police managed to locate the kidnappers' hideout.

A fleet of police cars surrounded the old villa, their sharp sirens piercing the night, with blue and red lights dispelling the fear brought by darkness.

Bethany remained unconscious on the floor, but Zoe, who was as resilient as a cockroach, was the first to awaken.

Startled by the blaring sirens, she was utterly terrified. As she attempted to crawl to safety, a group of familiar faces suddenly charged into the room with great force.

"Carrie!"

Ryan was the first to rush in, his red eyes filled with tears-a mix of pain and hope.

He had never feared anything, not even when he and Justin ventured into the deadly South Island filled with mercenaries. But now, his face was pale as a ghost, his steps shaky, nearly stumbling.

The living room was a mess, with the unconscious bullies and the stillunconscious Bethany sprawled about.

The place was not that big, but there was no sign of Carrie.

Justin and Bella rushed into the other rooms, calling out Carrie's name, but she was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, Ralph and two other officers barged in and said, "We've looked everywhere in the villa, top to bottom, even the basement, but there's no sign of Carrie!"

"What about Yasmin?!" Bella's beautiful face was covered in sweat with worry.

"We can't reach her! But the tech team is tracking her phone's location."

Justin's heart suddenly sank. "Bella, you said this was Liam's setup. Could these scums be a distraction while he moved Carrie and Yasmin elsewhere?!"

Bella was choked with fear, struggling to breathe.

Zoe saw no way to escape. Her legs were weak, and her body quivered uncontrollably. She failed to recognize that the consequences of her actions were finally catching up to her.

As her malicious deeds were exposed, Zoe put on a pitiful demeanor, crawling toward Ryan and crying miserably, "Ryan! You've come for me at last… Are you here to save me?! Liam kidnapped me and tried to kill me…"

Before she could finish, her words were cut off by a blood-curdling scream.

Ryan's eyes were filled with a murderous rage. He ruthlessly kicked Zoe, sending her hurtling through the air like a ball.

They could only see a blurry figure fly past before a dull thud came from the other end of the room.

Zoe crashed into the wall and slid down to the ground, limp like a lifeless dog.

"Ugh…" She crumpled into a ball, trembling and coughing up a mouthful of blood.

But Ryan did not give her a chance to whine. He walked over and began kicking her stomach relentlessly. There was no mercy. He wanted her dead!

The agonizing pain was so severe that Zoe could not even make a sound when she cried.

She could only squirm. Her horrific appearance was fully exposed before her former classmates and lover.

Justin watched from the sidelines.

Normally, he would have stepped in to stop this But not today . His gaze was cold as he watched everything unfold.

What Ryan was doing was precisely what Justin himself wished he could do. If he interfered, Zoe would likely be killed.

Hatred would not cloud his judgment. He would not let his hands get dirty, nor would he let Ryan pay the price.

Ryan, stop! If she dies, you'll be in trouble too!" Being a policeman, m Ralph had to intervene. "Do you want to be separated from Carrie forever ?!

Ryan's eyes were wild with rage. He roughly pushed away Ralph's hand, grabbed Zoe's hair, and yanked her limp body off the ground.

"Where is Carrie? Tell me where she is!" Ryan demanded.

"I… Don't… Know…" Zoe muttered, her mouth full of blood, still trying to hide the truth. "Ryan… It wasn't me…"

"Zoe, are you still trying to lie right now?" Ryan spat in disgust.

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1902-Bella was trembling with rage as tears streamed down her face. She shouted, "Since you entered this villa, everything you've done has been recorded by hidden cameras and broadcasted online. The whole country has seen your crimes. Liam set you up from the very beginning, but you still refuse to tell the truth? Will you only come clean when you see your own grave?"

Zoe was completely dumbfounded, her mouth opening wide in shock, forming a bloody gap.

"I know! I know!" Ivan, the coward among them, dragged his crippled body like a seal to Justin's feet. " Two men took Carrie and another woman away! Zoe even

called one of them Uncle Lewis, but he ignored her! Mr. Salvador! Mr. Hoffman!

We were all deceived by Zoe! She… She threatened us… She said she'd kill us if we didn't hurt Carrie… We had no choice… Ah!"

Justin glared at him coldly, then kicked him in the face. "Is that so?"

Ivan cried out as his teeth shattered.

"Back in junior high… Zoe was already bullying Carrie! We were all bewitched by her!" The man in the blue suit cried out.

"Zoe! Didn't you ask who betrayed you? It's me, damn it!" The woman in the red dress, with nothing left to lose, confessed openly. "I've had enough of your arrogance! You've been using us to bully Carrie all along, never treating us as equals!"

It was truly a scene of betrayal.

Jason, sprawled in the corner, wanted to speak but could not. His tongue was severed, rendering him mute. However, Justin would not let this bastard, who had tried to assault his sister, off the hook. He stormed over and viciously kicked Jason between the legs.

"Mm-mm-mm!" Jason's severed tongue squirmed in his mouth as his body tensed up. He passed out from the agony.

Bella's eyes burned with fury as she said, "He works for Liam. Ralph, we need to catch Liam right away!"

"The warrant has already been issued. All ports, stations, and airports are locked down. He won't be able to get away!" Ralph clenched his fists. The sound of cracking knuckles showed how he barely kept his emotions in check as the captain of the criminal investigation team.

"Ha-ha… Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha!"

Bethany, with a large bump on her head, eventually regained consciousness and cackled wildly at Zoe, accusingly pointing her finger. "Zoe, you've harassed me for far too long and destroyed my life… But now you've finally got your karma!"

Bella was so angry that she walked over and slapped her hard, twice. "Who brought you back? Tell me!" "Heh-heh… I won't tell you until I die, bitch!"

Bethany laughed foolishly.

"You think escaping back here means you'll get away with it? Your fate will be even worse!"

"It doesn't really matter. I'm already riddled with diseases. What do I have to be afraid of? I made Zoe drink my blood, so she's gonna get sick too. And Carrie bit Zoe, so she's going down with it as well. Haha! They all have AIDS now! Justin, even your precious little sister is caught up in this mess. Serves you right!

Haha!"

Bella sneered at Bethany's sickly appearance. The chances of actually getting AIDS that way were next to none, since the HIV virus could not survive in the gut.

But Bella was not going to enlighten Bethany. Let this fool keep living in her delusion of a successful plot, and let Zoe stay in constant fear. They deserved it!

Ryan forcefully threw Zoe to the ground, his chest burning with intense hatred as he said, "Zoe, every kick you gave my wife, I'm returning it to you now! Even if you died a thousand times, it wouldn't make up for what you did to Carrie!"

Just then, his phone rang.

Ryan glanced at the name on his phone screen, his eyes widening.

It was Liam.

He brought the phone to his ear, bracing himself as the sinister voice came through. "Ryan, your uncle hasn't shown you much love over the years. Considering our familial bond, what did you think of the little present I left you?"

Everyone held their breaths while the police tracked Liam's location through Ryan's phone.

This is between you and me. Leave Carrie and Yasmin out of it." Ryan's voice was so hoarse that he could hardly form a sentence.

"I've sent you the address. Come find me." Liam laughed maliciously, "It's time for us to finish this."

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1903-In the phone call, Liam stated two conditions. No guns were allowed, and Ryan had to go by himself.

"Justin, Bella, Captain Ralph, I'm leaving this to all of you. I'll meet Liam." Ryan quickly spun around and rushed out the door without a second thought. "Ryan!"

Justin cried out, his heart full of anguish, as he grabbed him. "This is a trap Liam set up. He could kill you. You can't go by yourself!" Ryan replied with a bitter smile, "He wants me dead."

Bella spoke firmly. "Ryan, we'll go with you. We can set up an ambush and wait for the right moment to rescue Carrie and Yasmin.”

Ryan shook his head. "Thank you, Bella. But I can't gamble with their lives. If my life can ensure Carrie and Yasmin's safety, it's worth it." Bella's eyes were filled with tears, and Justin's heart sank.

"Ryan," Ralph said, his eyes filled with determination. He stepped forward and opened his palm, revealing an extremely small tracking device. "Please wear this on your body and stay in contact with the police. I'll handle things from here."

Ryan's pale lips quivered as he took the device. "Thank you."

"Whether it's you, Carrie, or Yasmin, you must all come back safe and sound."

Ralph took a deep breath and gave a warm, reassuring smile. "I'm worried about you. It's not just Bella and Justin waiting for you, but also me!"

Ryan was briefly taken aback, but then gave Ralph a warm smile and patted his shoulder reassuringly.

The early morning sky was devoid of stars, and the moon's dim, hazy glow only added to the loneliness and coldness.

The tires screeched as the sports car drifted to a stop in the middle of the construction site.

Ryan found himself standing in front of a partially constructed commercial complex, one of the many developments overseen by the Hoffman Group.

This particular project had initially been ། but velime after her Liam's management after he was kicked out of the Hoffman Group, the project was passed onto Ryan instead.

Ryan headed toward the door, each step firm and resolute. He was determined to bring Carrie back, no matter the cost. 'Carrie, a life without you is utterly meaningless He pushed open the heavy door and walked in with a solemn expression.

The hall was empty.

Just then, there was a message from Liam.

[Come to the fifth floor, the swimming pool. You can choose to take the stairs or the elevator.] Ryan found the last part of the message strange.

After thinking it over for a bit, he opted to use the stairs instead, believing it would be the safer choice.

He hurried up the stairs but had only made it to the second floor when he heard frenzied footsteps behind him.

Turning quickly, his eyes widened in shock as he barely avoided the threatening blades.

A group of thugs charged at him, their knives swinging wildly.

Ryan fought back fiercely, disarming one of them. He snatched over the blade and sliced through them, leaving a trail of fallen bodies.

However, Ryan sustained some

injuries too. His black coat was shredded, so he tore off a strip of C fabric to wrap around his arm, keeping a firm grip on the weapon.

Another wave of attackers came rushing in, ready to continue the attack.

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1904-Ryan knew this was Liam's way of making the "game" more difficult for him.

He no longer played around with words and sprinted toward the elevator several meters away, frantically pressing the buttons.

A few excruciating seconds later, the doors slowly opened, only to reveal five henchmen waiting inside, wielding sharp blades.

At the swimming pool, Liam lay on a lounge chair, smoking his favorite cigar while playing his favorite rustic tunes on his phone. Every few minutes, he glanced at his watch, smacked his lips, and continued to rest his eyes.

Twenty minutes later, the elevator doors directly facing the pool beeped and opened. Liam's bored, half-closed eyes suddenly widened.

He saw Ryan stepping over bodies strewn on the ground.

Ryan's steps were heavy but resolute as he walked toward the pool. He was like a war god emerging from a sea of corpses.

Blood stained his cold, handsome face, and his white shirt had been dyed a glaring, striking red.

"Wow, kid… Impressive." Liam took a deep drag of his cigar, genuinely gaining a bit more respect for the young man. He had not expected Ryan to emerge alive from the elevator. But this kid just did it. When Logan was young, he was a legendary figure in the underworld, and Ryan already had a faint resemblance to his grandfather in his prime.

Ryan walked into the pool area, staring intensely at his sworn enemy, his lips pale and his body cold.

He had more than one knife wound on his body, and his arm was still bleeding.

The elevator battle had nearly cost him his life, and it was his budding love for Carrie and his worry for Yasmin that had driven him to endure the attacks.

"Ryan, you're something else." Liam gave him a thumbs up.

"Where are Carrie and Yasmin?" Ryan panted, the sweat on his face washing away the bloodstains.

"Now that you're here, don't be in such a rush. Let's have a heart-to-heart talk."

Liam turned off the rustic tunes and smiled meaningfully. "After all, such a future."

"Did you kill my grandfather and my father?"

"Of course," Liam answered with a smile.

"Why…"

"Because they both hindered me to different extents from getting what should have been mine."

"What should have been yours? Liam, you are utterly shameless and devoid of humanity." Ryan's words were weighty, and his gaze was as sharp as a bloodstained blade.

"Hoffman Group never belonged to you. It was my grandfather who painstakingly built the family business and my father who worked tirelessly to make Hoffman into one of the four major companies in Savrow, a chie current status. It has nothing to do with you!"

"No, no, no…" Liam shook his finger. "What I want is mine. Anything I want is mine."

This man was absurd and insane!

Ryan, when you were little, I quite liked you too. Leven held you a heavy, chubby, cute kid." Liam sighed sorrowfully.

It's a pity you are my brother's son. If you were my son, I would have treated you better thanmy brother !!

ever would. I' would have gone to any lengths to give you the best things in the world." "That wish of yours doesn't even deserve to be in your mind!"

Ryan suddenly gave a wicked smile.

'Heh, but it is not surprising you have such thoughts, considering you lack the ability to reproduce. Heaven has eyes and does not want scum like you to harm the next generation, so it stripped you of the right to be a father. It's rather fitting, don't you think?"

The smile on Liam's face gradually darkened, and his eyes were filled with malice.

"You want my life? Here I am. Release Carrie and Yasmin, and I will play with you." Ryan's eyes were cold and fierce.

"As expected of my brother's good son, you have guts!" Liam shouted, "Lewis, bring out the two ladies!"

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1905-"Mr. Hoffman!"

From somewhere above Ryan, Yasmin's heart-wrenching cry reached his ears.

Ryan's trembling eyelids lifted abruptly, and his stormy eyes narrowed again.

On the ten-meter diving platform over the swimming pool, Yasmin's hands were tightly bound with coarse hemp rope, and Lewis held a gun to her head, forcing her to stand precariously at the edge of the platform.

Below her feet was a terrifying height, and the swimming pool below was completely dry.

"Yasmin!"

Ryan's bloodstained white shirt was soaked in cold sweat. As he took two steps forward, Lewis immediately pointed the gun at him, forcing him to retreat!

"Mr. Hoffman, I'm sorry…" Tears filled Yasmin's eyes, choking her words.

Ryan gazed deeply at her without blinking. "No, you have never wronged me or anyone else. Yasmin. The one who should apologize is me."

Yasmin's heart was pierced sharply. She had accompanied Ryan through storms, fearing nothing, but she dreaded Ryan apologizing to her.

"Where is Carrie?" Ryan's voice was chilling.

Liam leisurely picked up a remote control from the table and pressed a button.

A loud rumbling sound came from the pitch-dark area on the left. Ryan turned his eyes warily and saw a cart carrying a large glass tank slowly moving toward him. With a clunk, the cart's four wheels retracted, and the intricately crafted tank settled into its designated position.

Through the transparent glass, Carrie was suspended inside, unconscious, and her wrists were shackled. Her pure white dress was covered with dirt and blood, like a broken doll, cruelly displayed in a showcase after being ravaged.

"Young Madam!" Yasmin's tears gushed out instantly.

"Carrie!"

Ryan roared with red eyes, the taut string in his mind almost snapping.

He ran toward it, pounding his clenched fists against the thick glass, kicking it, and slamming it with his elbows. But the glass was so sturdy that it did not crack even in the slightest. The girl inside remained motionless with her eyes closed.

"Stop yelling. The glass has excellent soundproofing. She can't hear anything."

Liam weighed the remote control in his hand. "Your wife is just unconscious.

After enduring so many beatings and suffering so much, how could she wake up so soon? Don't you know how to care for someone?"

"Ryan, you should actually be thanking me. Without me, would you have known what good deeds your sister did behind your back? Would you have known that your wife has been bullied and abused by her since middle school? You surely didn't know that Jason wanted me to marry this girl under Zorders, did you?

That guy has tried to molest her since they were kids. Carrie's worsening mental illness over the years is all thanks to them.

"The sister you pampered for years is the very culprit who ruined your beloved.

Hahaha… Ryan, now you must be filled with regret, right? Don't you feel that your so-called love is ridiculous? Do you hate yourself to death?"

The overwhelming pain nearly crushed Ryan on the spot. In an instant, all the suspicious fragments in his mind connected.

He understood why Carrie always shrank in fear when she saw Zoe, why Carrie stayed home for so long , afraid to go to school, and why Carrie mumbled incomprehensible words during her nightmares.

Ryan prided himself on being the one who loved Carrie the most. Yet, it m seemed he had never entered her scarred soul. He had never truly rescued her from that nightmare.

A tear filled with guilt silently rolled down Ryan's eye as he tried to control his nearly unmanageable emotions. He still had to negotiate with the devil in front of him.

"Liam, you just want revenge on me, to settle this once and for all. Release Carrie and Yasmin, and you can do whatever you want with me!"

Liam laughed harshly. "Ryan, your life is not as valuable as you think. I am also a businessman and will not make a losing deal."

"You have to choose one. Your life can only save one of theirs."

"Who will go, who will stay, who will live, and who will die? You choose."

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1906-Ryan did not hesitate for a moment. He yelled, "No deal. I want both of them!"

"Hahaha! Ryan, you want to enjoy the best of both worlds, huh?" Liam laughed wildly, then turned to look at Yasmin standing on the high platform. "Yasmin, you have not followed Ryan in vain. Look, he even wants to take you as a mistress!"

"Crazy bastard! Shut up, you monster!" Yasmin screamed at Liam with eyes red with rage. "If you want to kill someone, come at me! Let Young Madam go!"

"Be quiet!" Lewis slammed the butt of his gun against Yasmin's head.

"Tsk, tsk… What a shrew." Liam clicked his tongue and shook his head.

Pain surged through Yasmin's body, but it could not extinguish the anger in her eyes. She shouted at Ryan, "Mr. Hoffman! Don't worry about me. Save Young Madam! You must save her!"

"I want both!" Ryan's eyes were filled with dark red determination as he repeated himself firmly.

"Ryan, you already have enough. Don't be greedy. There is no such thing as wanting everything in this world."

Liam's smile was mocking, and his gaze was as bloodthirsty as a starving wolf.

"I don't even have two arms, so how can you have two women? That is too unfair to me, don't you think so?"

"As long as you release them, I will agree to all your conditions." Ryan remained steadfast. "Money, shares, the Hoffman Group, I will give it all to you!"

"You see, if you had been this cooperative earlier, things would have been much better. But unfortunately, it is too late now." Liam's smile suddenly vanished.

"Since you cannot make a choice, I will help you decide."

As soon as he finished speaking, he pressed another button on the remote control.

At that moment, a hole opened at the bottom of the glass tank, and water flowed into the tank, filling it.

Carrie was kneeling inside the tank, still unconscious. Within seconds, the water had already covered her calves.

Ryan felt as if a sword had pierced his heart. He shouted and slammed the glass tank again, even using a knife to hack at it, but to no avail.

"Don't waste your efforts. This tank was specially made with bulletproof glass for Ms. Salvador."

Liam looked down at Ryan, who was frantically running around like a headless chicken, laughing heartily.

"Liam… I will kill you!"

Ryan charged at Liam with rage, completely ignoring the danger.

Liam quickly grabbed a gun and fired three shots in rapid succession, the bullets exploding at Ryan's feet.

"Mr. Hoffman! Don't!" Yasmin's heart nearly leaped out of her throat in fear.

Ryan panted heavily, looking again at the glass tank. His heart beat frantically, on the verge of giving out.

The water had already reached Carrie's thighs.

"This tank will be filled with water in ten minutes, and a person can drown within three minutes of submersion. Ms. Salvador is unconscious and has no will to survive. She will probably die even faster, right?"

Liam pointed the gun at Ryan, laughing maniacally. "Honestly, om hope your choose Yasmin. I really want to see Ms. Salvador drown in the tank I meticulously prepared.

That scene should be beautiful, right?

Hahaha!"

The water level continued to rise, inching toward Carrie's chest.

com Seconds ticked away as Ryan stood before the glass tank, knocking on the glass in agony and calling out his lover's name repeatedly, He still could not make a choice.

If his death could save these two innocent girls, he would die immediately.

But if he had to sacrifice one to save the other, he could never make that choice!

Suddenly, a muffled explosion came from downstairs, and the entire swimming pool shook as if experiencing an earthquake.

A subordinate rushed in from outside breathless. "Mr. Liam! The police m have surrounded the entire building!

They are coming in!"

"What are you afraid of? We have plenty of firepower and grenades. They will not get in anytime soon."

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1907-Liam still managed to laugh. "However, some people might not even be able to hold on any longer. My dear nephew, are you still not going to choose?"

Inside the glass tank, the water had risen to Carrie's chest.

"Mr. Hoffman!" Yasmin called out, trembling.

Their intense gazes met, and in that moment, time and space seemed to freeze, rendering all else void.

-"Yasmin, follow me from now on."

-"Mr. Hoffman, I will follow you through thick and thin."

Yasmin looked at Ryan with tears in her eyes, smiling gently.

In her mind, the reckless and heart-stirring young man she first met merged with the extraordinary man standing before her.

"I don't want you to hesitate. From now on, no matter what happens, you must always, without hesitation, choose Young Madam." Yasmin's tearful eyes were full of deep affection and sincerity. Her gentle words composed a grand and touching farewell. "You and Young Madam must always be happy."

"No…!"

In a split second, Ryan realized what was happening, and his heart stopped.

Yasmin suddenly turned and tackled Lewis to the ground!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three gunshots rang out, followed by a man's terrified scream.

Two figures, entwined, tumbled through the air and fell heavily into the dry swimming pool.

"Yasmin!"

At the same time, the water level inside the glass tank stopped rising.

Ryan's legs nearly gave way under his trembling body. He jumped into the empty pool, cradling Yasmin's limp, blood-soaked body in his arms.

"Yasmin… Yasmin…" He wept uncontrollably, calling her name over and over.

'Mr. Hoffman, I am here.' But he could no longer hear her response "Ah, what a touching display of loyalty. I am truly moved." Liam sighed mockingly. "Ryan, you see, your uncle is still a man of his word. When I say two for one, I mean two for one, no exceptions…"

Before he could finish his smug remark, Ryan, emerging from his profound grief, picked up Lewis's fallen gun and fired continuously at him.

One bullet hit Liam's thigh, and another shot disarmed him.

Liam, kneeling in pain, gritted his teeth. As he reached for his gun, Ryan quickly leaped onto the high platform, pinned him down, and shot him in the left shoulder.

With only one bullet left, he pressed the gun against Liam's forehead.

But then, the glass tank started operating again, and the water level continued to rise, submerging the girl's neck.

"Stop it… Make it stop!" Ryan screamed, on the verge of breaking down.

It can not … be stopped … from the beginning, I never intended to stop it. I was just … Playing with you."

Liam panted heavily, laughing wickedly. "I never planned to live. I just wanted to take you and the one th me to the grave. But …

you love with hot Your little maid did not die in vain. If it weren't for her delaying a bit, that Salvador girl would have been dead …

Minutes ago … "

At that moment, the glass tank was full.

The unconscious Carrie floated in the water, her delicate face paleand m sickly her dark hair swirling like seaweed. It was a breathtaking sight.

Ryan took the gun and screamed as he shot at the glass tank.

The magazine was empty, and the glass remained intact.

At that instant, Liam staggered up and aimed his gun at the back of Ryan's head.

"Go reunite with your grandfather and father… You little bastard!"

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1908-Bang-!

A gunshot rang out.

The person who fell was none other than Liam himself.

The special forces quickly stormed into the swimming pool, firing two laserfocused rounds at the bulletproof glass box, causing it to shatter instantly. The water flushed out like a flood.

In this rescue operation, two police officers lost their lives in the explosion. It turned out that Liam, who appeared to be an executive director of the Hoffman Group, had been secretly colluding with foreign criminal organizations and engaging in arms smuggling for years.

Liam possessed heavy weaponry, which made the rescue mission exceptionally challenging.

The miniature camera worn by Ryan recorded this brutal ordeal. Because of this, Ralph prepared more advanced weapons to break the tank and successfully rescue the hostage, Carrie.

When Carrie was sent to the ICU, her heartbeat was weak, and she was barely alive.

She had nearly drowned and had suffered internal injuries from the beatings, making her condition very critical.

Members of the Thompson and Salvador families who could come had gathered, filling the corridor outside the ICU. Nigel was overwhelmed with grief, shedding tears. He almost collapsed but was supported by Gregory and Matt.

Except for Sasha, who was abroad with Wyatt, Mila, Celeste, Axel, Amelia, and Steve had all arrived. Mila was in tears, as if it were her own daughter on the brink of death.

Though severely injured, Ryan did not rest in the hospital. Instead, he went to the police station with Ralph to assist with the investigation and identify the bodies.

He had to address not only the case of Carrie's kidnapping but also the deaths of his grandfather and Yasmin. The Hoffman Group was in turmoil. If he collapsed, the Hoffman Group would truly be finished. Bella and Justin did not go to the hospital but stayed in the police station's lobby, not drinking a sip of water, waiting for a whole day and night.

During this time, Justin managed the aftermath for Ryan, taking on all the responsibilities of the Hoffman Group and helping him handle the external pressures on the Hoffman Group by stabilizing public opinion and media coverage. It eased the situation to some extent Bella was also busy, making calls to her older brothers, instructing them to prepare to deal with those five scoundrels, including Jason, and their families.

"Bella, Dad knows about Carrie's situation." Asher's voice was full of sorrow.

"Dad said if Hoffman has any difficulties, he will definitely help. Dad is also asking how his future daughter-in-law is doing. Is Carrie okay? Has she woken up?"

"Hah… At a time like this, Wyatt is still joking." Bella, rubbing her tear-swollen eyes, said, "Tell Wyatt that Carrie is not his daughter-in-law. She is Ryan's wife.

He can find someone else. Carrie has not woken up yet, but she will get through this."

"Arnold and I have already bought tickets and will be boarding in two hours. He said prolonged drowning and suffocation might damage the brain. He is a brain specialist and wants to come back to check on Carrie."

"Thank you, Arnold."

"Bella, don't be sad. Everything will be alright."

After handling his tasks, Justin returned to Bella's side, holding her in his arms, gently patting her back, and soothing her. "Did you talk to Asher?"

"Yes…" She responded weakly, her tears soaking his shirt.

"It's all over. It's all over." Justin's voice choked with emotion as he tried to control himself, not daring to bring up more sorrowful topics.

At this moment, heavy footsteps approached, Bella and Justin turned around simultaneously theirhearts!

skipping a beat. The man before them had desolate, dark eyes. His once jet-black, neat hair was now streaked with gray at the temples, as if covered in frost.

Ryan … " Justin's heart ached deeply, tears welling up. He did not expect that the saying of hair turning gray overnight would turn out to be true.

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1909-The bone-piercing cold of the morgue was a constant reminder that it was not a world made for the living. Bella and Justin stood in the shadowy doorway, allowing Ryan to see Yasmin for the last time.

Under a snow-white sheet, Yasmin's face was devoid of any color but still radiated a mesmerizing beauty.

She lay peacefully with her eyes closed, her lips curving slightly as if she were having a sweet dream, one that she would never wake up from.

Ryan hung his head solemnly. The chill in the room was an invisible weight that threatened to overwhelm his already-burdened spirit.

His throat tightened as he delicately traced the graceful curve of her lips with trembling fingertips.

He could not understand why she was smiling as she left this world.

She had been shot in the abdomen and had fallen from such a height. Her bones had been shattered. It was unbearable to try to imagine the pain she went through. Most girls feared pain. Was she in pain?

"You know… Your smile is so beautiful. Why didn't I see you smile more often?"

Ryan murmured, asking earnestly as if seeking an answer from the person lying still in front of him. "Yasmin, smile for me one more time."

"Stand outside the door again and wait for me to come home."

"Call me 'Mr. Hoffman' one more time."

Bella could no longer bear to watch any longer. She covered her face with both hands and leaned into Justin's embrace, crying silently.

Justin held her trembling shoulders, and his chin rested on her head. His dry lips opened and closed, but no sound came out.

At that moment, footsteps approached from behind.

Ralph walked in with a sorrowful expression, holding a small box in his hand.

The couple silently stepped aside, letting him pass.

"Ryan, please accept my condolences."

Ralph stood behind the man's solemn figure and whispered, "These are Yasmin's belongings that I've organized. Take them with you when you leave later."

Ryan felt as if all the blood in his body had frozen as he turned around slowly.

Other girls usually carried lipstick, face powder, and hair ties when they went out.

However, Yasmin did not carry anything other than her phone and a hidden dagger on her person-Ryan knew this was not for self-defense but rather to protect him and Carrie. Ryan lowered his swollen eyelids, and his lips trembled as he took out the blood-stained cross.

Its icy touch spread through his palm and flooded his lungs with excruciating pain. It stiffened his body.

He had given her the cross as a lucky charm to keep her safe. Yet, it wasn't until this moment that he suddenly understood-Yasmin was his lucky charm.

She had sacrificed herself to keep him and Carrie safe.

The funeral arrangements for Logan and Yasmin, the turbulent stock price of the Hoffman Group, the stalled projects, and Zoe's subsequent punishment-all these matters came crashing down at once, but with the help of the Salvadors, everything was taken care of smoothly.

Steven and lan, leading the PR departments of the KS Group and the Salvador Corporation, respectively, worked overnight to thoroughly delete all online videos related to this tragedy. Meanwhile, Bella and Justin did this to prevent themselves from seeing videos of Carrie's abuse on the internet.

Carrie had also woken up and gradually recovered from the mental shock.

However, they did not stop public opinion from brewing. This time, they wanted to unite the entire nation to punish those irredeemably wicked people.

[I am a former classmate of Carrie

from middle school! Zoe's group bullied Carrie throughout middle school. I was timid back then andm ERO didn't dare to stop their evil deeds.

But today, I hope to speak up for Carrie. If needed, I can testify against Zoe and that scumbag! They deserve the worst death!]

[I am also from that school. I can testify too!] [In high school, Zoe was a bully who abused power! I once witnessed a girl accidentally stepping on her newly bought shoes and getting slapped five or six times in a row!]

[Does Jason think he can get away with it ?! Rape, illegal detention, intentional injury these are multiple crimes that should be punished together. He needs to face the music!]

His own son committed such an outrageously immoral act, yet Mayor Solloway still wants to run for the election? He should be put out to pasture, although that would be too kind to him!]

The Divorced Heiress Revenge Chapter 1910-[I heard that hundreds of people had already gone to the Savrow Government Office this morning to petition for Mayor Solloway to step down immediately.] Zoe, Bethany, Jason and four others were all arrested and placed in a detention center awaiting prosecution.

Having only one son, the Solloway couple were heartbroken to hear that their son's tongue was gone and his lower body was crippled.

Mrs. Solloway swallowed blood pressure medication like candy and cried so much that she even fainted several times.

When she was awake, she wailed for her husband to find a way to save their son.

"Besides crying and fainting, what else can you do?! This mess is all because you spoiled him without limits!" Mayor Solloway yelled at his half-dead, crying wife. "He tried to rape Gregory Salvador's daughter. She's the heiress of the Salvador Corporation! He really knew how to pick his victims. His stupidity is dragging me down with him! The whole nation saw him frantically pulling down his pants to pounce on that girl. My political career is over because of him!"

Mrs. Solloway wailed. "At a time like this, you still only think about your career!

What is more important than our son?!"

Mayor Solloway's blood pressure had spiked to 180. He cursed under his breath but managed to dial the lawyer's number.

Unfortunately for him, the lawyer only brought bad news. Due to the public uproar and the severe impact of the case, their application for medical parole was rejected.

"Go… Go and beg Madam Mila for help!" Mrs. Solloway clung to her husband's arm, refusing to give up. "Did you not have a good conversation last time? Did she and Chairman Thompson not support you? If she steps in, our son will be saved. After this disaster, you can repay the Thompson family however they want!"

A glimmer of hope appeared in Mayor Solloway's dead heart. He had just taken out his phone when a cold, stern voice interrupted.

"No need for that trouble. You can tell me whatever you want to say. As a member of the Thompson family, I will relay it to Aunt Mila."

Dressed in a prosecutor's uniform, Axel entered with a team of inspectors, exuding an overwhelming stance.

Mayor Solloway turned pale with fear. "Who… Who let you in? This is trespassing!"

"Percy Solloway, as mayor of Savrow City, you are suspected of serious violations and illegal activities. The evidence is conclusive. We are now arresting you in accordance with the law."

Axel's face was cold as he raised his hand. "Search the entire villa and take all the documents!"

"Yes, Prosecutor Thompson!"

"What evidence do you have to say I violated the law?! Show me the evidence!"

Mayor Solloway shouted sternly, his legs trembling. "The evidence is me!"

Mayor Solloway turned sharply and saw his longtime confidant, Chad, walk out from the shadows with a resolute expression.

"As the mayor's secretary, I have all the evidence of Mayor Solloway's violations and illegal activities since he took office. I am now turning myself in and exposing Mayor Soloway and his wife's corruption!"

Mrs. Solloway was so frightened that she fainted again.

"You traitor… You!" Mayor Solloway gnashed his teeth in hatred, but before he could say more, two inspectors grabbed his arms and dragged him out.

On the other side, Justin had just sent off the weary Asher and Arnold to the hospital when he received a call from Axel.

"Justin, Mayor Solloway and his wife have been arrested. They are now being interrogated at the prosecutor's office."

"As expected of Prosecutor Thompson, your efficiency is amazing. Thank you."

"Hey, you don't have to flatter me."

The corner of Justin's lips lifted slightly. "It was your covert help that made it possible to get the search and arrest warrants so quickly."

Axel's tone was both admiring and jealous. "You really have a wide network, even having someone beside the mayor. When did you connect with Chad?"

Some time ago. Axel, he is just a worker who has been oppressed by authority Considering he turned himself in, I hope you can treat him leniently."

"Rest assured, I will."

As he hung up, a call from lan came in urgently. "Mr. Salvador, something is wrong! Chairman Salvador has arranged a lawyer for Bethany to seek medical parole!"
