"You bastard Joel! I never thought it would turn out to be you Hiltons who were behind this all along!" Alan was infuriated by this and immediately turned to shoot Joel and the rest of the Hiltons a murderous glare.
"Um," Joel balked at this. He never once thought that Gordon would use his last remaining breath to betray him!
Not only that, but he only ordered Gordon to attack Iris and Snow-never once did he instruct him to poison Darius, so it came as an even bigger shock when Gordon decided to place all the blame on him for something he never did!
Joel wanted nothing more than to reach out and kill Gordon himself!
"Elder Hughes, Gordon was the one who committed this crime, and this has nothing to do with us Hiltons at all! He’s just trying to shift the blame onto someone else and slander us Hughes in the process, so please don't take his words seriously!" Joel stammered.
Gordon did not have any evidence to back himself up, so of course he would never admit to this wrongdoing!
After all, they were already troubled enough by the Thompsons; he did not want to have the Hughes added to the mix!
"I'm not trying to slander anyone. I'm telling the truth! Not only that, but Joel was also the one who instructed me to
tamper with Elegante Group's products," Gordon decided to come clean with everything.
"You-" Joel was outraged to hear this.
He never once participated directly in Iris and Snow's kidnapping, and so even if Gordon betrayed him, he would not have any evidence of Joel's involvement. However, what happened with Elegante Group was different; he was prosecuted once before already for this and was even forced to apologize publicly to Elegante Group for sabotaging them. Therefore, as much as he wanted to deny it, he could not!
"What else do you have to say for yourself, Joel?" Alan snarled.
"Nothing! I have nothing to do with Darius' poisoning at all, so there's nothing I'd like to explain!" with that, Joel paused and then turned to his father. "Father, now that things have come to an end here, shall we leave?"
The Hiltons came all the way here to help Seth get revenge on Leon, but now, with the Thompsons on his side, neither the Hiltons nor the Golans dared to mess with Leon any further!
Besides, the misunderstanding between Leon and the Hughes was since resolved, and the truth was uncovered about the Hiltons' involvement in this. Now, with both the Thompsons and the Hughes on Leon's side, there was no way the Hiltons and the Golans would be able to withstand them!
Therefore, they had a find a way to escape while they could!
"Yes, it's time to leave now, troops!" Sebastian could also tell that they were at a significant disadvantage, so he rallied his troops in an attempt to leave.
"Going to escape? Not so fast! Guards, stop them!" Alan sneered as the Hughes stormed forward to block off all the exits, preventing anyone from leaving the room.
He was not the only one unwilling to let this go; Angus, who intended to make the Hiltons pay for their wrongdoings, would not let this precious opportunity slip by. With a wave of his arm, the Thompsons charged and surrounded Joel, Sebastian, and the rest of the Hiltons. The atmosphere immediately tensed up.

"Elder Hughes, Angus, what do you mean by this?" Sebastian demanded with a sour look.
"What do you think, Sebastian? Your son has brainwashed Gordon into committing this heinous crime and almost killed my grandson Darius in the process! I demand restitution, and I won't let you leave until I get it!" Alan snarled. It was clear that he would not go down without a fight.
"Elder Hughes is right! Sebastian, you Hiltons have kept on bullying Mister Wolf on the basis that you're more powerful than him. this goes against the laws of the Gangster World, and it's about time you reap the consequences of your actions!" Angus said, sneering. He knew that Hiltons Corporation and Elegante Group were competitors, which meant that the Hiltons attacked Leon again and again with the clear intention of bringing them down!
As one of Elegante Group's major shareholders, the Thompsons would not sit by without taking action, not to mention that they were indebted to Leon for his help in the past!
This was the perfect opportunity to take on the Hiltons together with the Hughes, and hopefully teach them a lesson so that they would not dare to repeat their mistakes!
"Why should you demand restitution when nothing was out of line in the first place? Elder Hughes, my son has already made it clear that we Hiltons were not at all involved in Darius' poisoning. You shan't slander us like this unless you have concrete evidence to back up your claims!" Sebastian retorted.
"Um," Alan balked at this, although he knew that Sebastian was just trying to weasel his way out of trouble, it was true that this was all based on Gordon's claims, and none of them had any concrete proof at all!
"Sebastian, I can't believe that you Hiltons still refuse to show remorse at a time like this! this is unacceptable!" Angus could not help scowling.
"Nonsense, Angus! You shan't comment on what we Hiltons do! You Thompsons and Hughes are just ganging up against us, but I'll let you know that we Hiltons aren't to be underestimated!" Sebastian replied coldly.
"You! Fine, fine! You asked for it! If a battle is what you want, it's what you shall get!" Angus snickered at this. Then, with a wave of his hand, he gestured for his guards to charge.
The Thompsons gladly obliged and were followed suit by the Hughes. The two troops charged straight toward the Hiltons, intending to unleash their wrath.
"Stop!" all of a sudden, a man's voice rang out, piercing through the tense air.
A few cars pulled up in front of them and screeched to a halt.
The rear door swung open, and a formidable man in his seventies stepped out of the car with a steely look on his face.
This man was none other than Joel's grandfather, Devon Hiltons!
He was quickly followed suit by dozens of the Hiltons' most powerful warriors, with glints of malice flashing in their eyes as they trudged along in a neat military fashion.
It was clear that these people were not to be messed with!
"You're finally here, Father!" an expression of delight crossed Sebastian's face at this, then, he and Joel quickly approached.
As for Alan and Angus, they soon realized that circumstances changed, and so they signaled for their men to halt their attacks, intending to see what the Hiltons were up to.

"What's going on here, Sebastian? What happened?" Devon could not help asking as he glanced around him at Alan and Angus, whose faces meant business.
Sebastian already explained everything to him before coming over to Scammell Mansion to provide backup, so it did not take long for Devon to realize the significance of defeating Leon.
After all, Leon was not only the president of Elegante Group, but Cynthion Group as well, and as long as the Hiltons could find some way to get rid of him, not only would they successfully have taken down their biggest competitor, but they would also be able to take Cynthion Group as their own!
Devon was a wise businessman who understood the potential of this opportunity, and so he, like his son and grandson, was eager to carry this out.
Unfortunately, with the Thompsons behind Leon's back, their task got significantly more difficult, and so he sent Sebastian and the rest of the Hiltons along to defeat Leon first, whereas he would stay back and assemble an even more powerful team as a backup.
This was why he took so long to arrive!
The point was, the Hiltons put in considerable effort to stop the Thompsons from shielding Leon too much to ease their task, but none of them ever imagined that Leon would not
only have the Thompsons on his side but the Hughes as well!
This was something that none of them ever expected to see, and thus they were all taken by shock!
"Well, here's what happened," Sebastian then proceeded to briefly explain everything to his father.
"Oh, I see!" Devon gasped in realization, finally understanding why the Hughes, including Alan himself, showed up here.
"You arrived just in time, Old Hiltons! Your grandson almost killed my grandson, and you Hiltons owe us an explanation!" Alan said coldly, unwilling to back down.
"An explanation? You've gotta be joking, Old Hughes! The person who poisoned your grandson was Gordon, so what does this have to do with us? You can't slander us just like that. Do you honestly think we'd go down without a fight?" Devon replied, sneering.
"You!" Alan was infuriated by this, but he knew that there was nothing he could do about it. After all, Devon was telling the truth; none of them had any concrete evidence that would prove the Hiltons' involvement in Darius' poisoning, and so there was nothing they could do about it, so long as Joel continued denying it!
"Even if this has nothing to do with the Hiltons, can you say the same about what happened to Leon? You Hiltons kept bullying him over and over just to bring down Elegante Group, and this goes against the laws of the Gangster World! We will not be satisfied until we get some restitution for
your actions! Otherwise, you will taste the wrath of the Thompsons!" Angus piped up.
"Angus, don't try to scare me by bringing out your family name! Leon Wolf has crippled Seth-an act that is both cruel and unrelenting. It is well within the Golans' right to seek revenge for this! This is a personal vengeance between Leon and the Golans, and has nothing to do with you Thompsons at all! By right, you aren't allowed to stick your nose into their business, and should you do so, us Hiltons will not hesitate to do the same!" Devon retorted rather defiantly.
"You!" Angus was so outraged to hear this that his face twisted into a grotesque scowl! He wanted to stick up for Leon, but the Hiltons were too sly and manipulative-none of the Hiltons, not even Devon himself, were playing by the rules!
Besides, since Leon was not a member of the Thompsons, the Hiltons kept using this as an excuse to exclude the Thompsons' rightful participation in all this!
This put them in a disadvantaged situation!

"Elder Hiltons, right? Well, what do you intend to do about this?" all of a sudden, Leon, who sat in his wheelchair in silence all this while, spoke.
"Who are you?" Devon turned to glance at Leon with a rather dubious look, uncertain who this man was.
"Grandpa, this is Leon Wolf!" Joel explained.
"It's you!" Devon was shocked by this. Considering this was the man who established two powerful companies- Elegante Group and Cynthion Group-at such a young age, he expected Leon to be a powerful and formidable man.
He never once imagined that the famed Leon Wolf would turn out to be a sickly, rather pale-looking man in a wheelchair!
However, unbeknownst to him, Leon was looking frail simply because he entered a temporary weak phase, and was not usually a sick man at all!
Otherwise, Joel would never have fallen victim to him over and over!
"Alright, you twat, I'll be frank with you. You crippled Seth, and you're going to pay a price forthat. I'll give you one last chance-if you offer up Cynthion Group right this instant as compensation to the Golans, we will consider letting you off the hook! If not, I'm afraid that today will be the last day you walk this earth!" Devon laid out his terms in a rather
disdainful tone. It was clear that he did not think much of Leon at all, after seeing his state!
"So it is true that you Hiltons are just after Cynthion Group all along!" Angus was stunned to learn this. He wondered why the Hiltons were so unrelenting to take down Leon, even after knowing his connection to the Thompsons. Now, he finally understood that not only were the Hiltons after Elegante Group, but they even had their sights set on Cynthion Group as well, which was a far more powerful and attractive prize!
It was no wonder the Hiltons would stop at nothing for this!
However, Angus was not the only one shocked to hear this- even Alan and the rest of the Hughes were equally taken aback! They all thought that Cynthion Group was a part of the Scammells' assets, and were surprised to learn that it belonged to Leon!
However, on second thought, they realized it made sense. Since Leon was capable of bringing Darius back from the brink of death, it was safe to say that he possessed outstanding medical expertise.
Only someone as gifted as Leon would be capable of producing so many miraculous drugs and herbs-a feat that no one in the entire Southern region and perhaps the entire Sky County ever achieved!
There was no way the Scammells could have pulled this off!
"Elder Hiltons, you are a member of one of the most prestigious families in the Southern region, and yet you're
trying to steal someone else's property based on power dynamics! Aren't you at all worried that you'll become the laughingstock of the town once this gets out?" Leon snapped.
"Shut up, you twat! I've already told you my condition, so you can either choose to hand over Cynthion Group, or die on your terms! The ball is in your court!" Devon replied coldly.
"No! There's no way I'd hand over Cynthion Group just like that. You should get your head out of the clouds for once!" Leon retorted, sneering. It was clear that he did not take Devon's threat seriously at all.

"Alright then, you twat! You asked for this! Since you have a death wish, I'll gladly help you fulfill it! Guards, seize him, and make sure he's alive-l'm going to torture him to death!" Devon shouted. Then, without another word, he gestured for his men to charge.
He knew full well that Leon would have the alchemical pills' recipes with him, along with most of Cynthion Group's trade secrets, and so the only way he could get his hands on them as if he seized Leon alive!
He was not at all concerned whether Leon would willingly hand over this information-knowing that Iris was his girlfriend, who also happened to be a distant relative of the Scammells, he was certain that by using her or the rest of the Scammells against him would surely frighten him into spilling all his secrets!
"Who dares touch him will feel my fiery wrath!" Angus could not stand by and watch idly while the Hiltons attacked Leon. He took charge and led his warriors, which included three Almighty Warriors, into battle, blocking off the Hiltons' path!
"Angus, I've already made it clear that this has nothing to do with you Thompsons! Do you insist on crossing us just because of an insignificant character like this man here?" Devon said with a steely look.
"So what if I do? I don't mind letting you know, Elder Hiltons, that we are indebted to Leon for his help! therefore, if you intend to harm him, you'll have to go through us first!" Angus replied curtly, his attitude clear and adamant.
"Do you think I'll be scared of you? Well, if your Uncle Arthur were here, this would be a different story, but you're just a nobody! I'm not intimidated by you at all!" Devon scoffed. Then, with a leap, he unleashed a surge of powerful energy that barreled straight toward Angus and the rest of the Thompsons!
"Intermediate Almighty State!" the color drained from Angus ' face when he sensed this, although he knew for a long time that Devin already attained the Intermediate Almighty State, this was his first time crossing paths with such power!
Besides Sixth-Uncle Thompson and the other two Almighty Warriors, most of them, including Angus himself, could barely hold their fort when faced with Devon's sheer display of power!
"Don't try to intimidate people who are weaker than you, Devon! Angus might not be a match against you, but what's to say about me?" all of a sudden, Alan let out a cackle as he stepped forward. A surge of true energy wafted off him as he channeled it to shield Angus and the rest from Devon.
He, like Devon, was already at the Intermediate Almighty State and were thus on par with each other!
"What do you mean by this, Old Hughes? Leon has no connection to you Hughes at all, so are you willing to make us your enemy by siding with him?" Devon's expression darkened. It was clear that he was displeased by this.
He knew of Leon's connection to the Thompsons and thus he was not at all surprised by Angus' willingness to help him, but he never once imagined that the Hughes would do the same!
He could not wrap his head around this; helping Leon would not serve any advantage to the Hughes at all, so why was Alan willing to do this?

"Well, I'll be frank with you, Devon. President Wolf has saved Darius' life, and so we Hughes owe him one! If you intend to pick on him, you'll have to go through us first!" Alan replied curtly.
"You!" Devon's expression was dark when he heard this, he thought Leon was just a useless nobody, but it seemed that he severely underestimated this man's potential!
Not only did Leon help the Thompsons in the past, but now, the Hughes was also indebted to him for saving Darius!
This was an accomplishment that no ordinary man could pull off, much less a "useless nobody" as he thought!
However, Cynthion Group's potential for growth and business was so alluring to him that even with the Thompsons and the Hughes blocking his way, there was no way he could give up on this just like that!
"Old Hughes, Angus, you asked for this! Since you're so adamant to continue protecting Leon, you shan't blame us Hiltons for not showing you any mercy then!" Devon
threatened. He already came to a decision, and he would not waver no matter what!
"Tsk, I can't believe how arrogant you are! Don't bite off more than you can chew, Old Hiltons! You're up against the two of us, so how on earth do you think you'll be able to hold up?" Alan snickered, casting Devon a glance of disdain.
The Hughes and Thompsons, like the Hiltons, were some of the most powerful families in the Southern region, and were on par with each other when it came to influence and manpower!
If he had to pick one out, the Thompsons were at a slight advantage over the two of them, so he could not believe that the Hiltons were so naive as to think they stood a chance against both of them!
"Well, if this happened under normal circumstances, you're right, but unfortunately, this isn't a normal circumstance; I've recruited all of my most powerful warriors just for this, but none of them came prepared, so defeating you will be as easy as squashing an ant!" Devon snickered, then gestured to the men behind him. "Ronaldo and team, step forward and show yourselves to everyone! We'll let Old Hughes and Angus here see just what we got!"
"Yes, sir!" Six formidable elders, along with Fourth Elder and Fifth Elder, stepped forward as commanded by Devon. Out of the eight, seven of them unleashed their wrath, showcasing the true display of their powers.
"Seven Almighty Warriors!" Both Alan and Angus were shocked when they sensed the energy wafting off these seven Hiltons. None of them ever imagined that the Hiltons would have prepared for this by recruiting seven Almighty Warriors at the same time!
"That's not all we have!" Ronaldo, the leader of the troops, sneered as he unleashed his power, sending a surge of energy barreling straight toward his opponents!
"Intermediate Almighty State!" the color drained from Alan and Angus' faces at this, not only did the Hiltons have seven Almighty Warriors with them, but Ronaldo and even Devon himself were members of the Intermediate Almighty State!
With such a formidable team, it was no wonder that Devon did not seem at all afraid to take them all by himself!

"How's this then, Angus, Old Hughes? Did you change your mind yet about us winning?" Devon snickered. He placed his hands behind his back in a stance of triumph, as though he already secured his victory!
However, the reality was not too far off from his expectations; to triumph over the Thompsons, he summoned every last one of his guards, especially those at the Almighty State or Semi-Almighty State, to come with him, leaving only Declan, his second-in-command, to hold down the fort at home.
Whereas the Hughes and the Thompsons, on the other hand, came unprepared and possibly brought only four or five Almighty Warriors along at most!
There was no way they could match up against the Hiltons at all!
"You-" Both Angus and Alan's faces sank at this realization. Just as Devon predicted, Angus brought only three warriors at the Initial Almighty State with him, whereas Alan, who arrived in an even greater hurry, managed to summon only two!
They had only five Almighty Warriors in total, and the best fighter they had was Alan himself, who was already at the Intermediate Almighty State.
However, the Hiltons had two Intermediate Almighty
Warriors and seven Initial Almighty Warriors! It was clear that the cards were in their favor!
"Angus, Old Hughes, seeing that we're all in the same boat, I'd like to give you one last chance! If you leave right here and right now, I can pretend as though none of this happened, but if you refuse to do so, I'm afraid I won't show you mercy anymore from here on out!" Devon sneered. He knew full well that although they were in a clearly advantaged position, the Hughes and the Thompsons were not easy opponents. If the three of them were to get into conflict, this would not work out in the Hiltons' favor, as they would have made two new enemies just like that.
On the contrary, if Angus and Alan were willing to retreat right then and there, the Hiltons would not only be able to seize Leon, but it would have spared them the trouble of having created two new enemies!
However, even if Angus and Alan insisted on standing their ground, the Hiltons would not go down without a fight, and according to the situation at hand, it was highly likely that they would win!
As long as the Hiltons managed to defeat Leon once and for all, he was certain that the Thompsons and the Hughes would not be willing to hold a grudge against them for so long over one person. This was not realistic at all!
"No can do! I've already made it clear that if you want to harm Mister Wolf, you'll have to go through us Thompsons first!" Angus replied coldly, his attitude unwavering.
"Yes, we Hughes agree! I won't sit by and let you hear Mister Wolf just like that, Old Hiltons!" Alan sneered, also unwilling to relent.
"Well, well! All I can say is you asked for this! Since both of you have death wishes, I'll gladly help you fulfill them!" Devon was amused by this, then, without a second word, he gestured for his warriors to charge. "Seize them, and bring that Leon Wolf fellow to me-alive! As for the rest, don't kill them, but don't hesitate to hurt them when necessary!"
"Yes, sir!" the Hiltons charged forward, unleashing their fiery wrath against their severely outnumbered opponents!

"Angus, I have a plan. We Hughes and the rest of your men can stall them as best as we can, while you escape with President Wolf!" seeing that the Hiltons unleashed their attack, Alan quickly came up with the best plan he could think of.
Although the Hiltons were at a significant advantage, they were not too far off; they had a total of six Almighty Warriors combined, and it would not be difficult to stall the Hiltons for a few minutes.
The Hiltons' main target was Leon, and as long as Angus could help him escape, their problems would be solved!
"Yes, will do!" Angus quickly agreed, knowing that this was their best bet. Then, he signaled for Sixth-Uncle Thompson and the rest of his warriors to join Alan's forces, while he leaped to Leon's side.
"Mister Wolf, the Hiltons are far too powerful, and we can't hold them off for too long. I'll help you escape while we can, " Angus explained as he reached out to grab hold of Leon, but Leon turned him down. "No, I can't escape just like this, Mister Thompson! Besides, there's no need for that anyway!" he said, shaking his head.
Although the Hiltons came for him, this was the Scammells' territory after all, and he had plenty of people who were relying on him, including Iris, Snow, Damian, and Patrick!
Even if he escaped with Angus, he was certain that the Hiltons would shift their anger onto someone else, and choose to attack Iris and the rest of the Scammells instead!
Therefore, there was no way he could abandon them and escape by himself!
Besides, he had one last secret weapon with him, and he was certain that the Hiltons would not get what they want!
Therefore, he was not at all intimidated by them!
"What? You're not planning to run?" Angus could not believe his ears. Now that the odds were stacked severely against him, the only chance Leon stood of surviving was if he escaped while he could, but he never once thought that Leon would refuse to escape! He could not believe just how erratic Leon was behaving!
However, he was not the only one shocked by this; even Alan was taken aback to hear this. He poured all his energy into stalling Devon and Ronaldo as best as he could, while the rest of the troops were trying their best to block off the remaining seven Almighty Warriors' way, yet Leon was refusing to escape while he had the chance!
He was infuriated by this!
"President Wolf, please escape with Angus while you can! If you wait for any moment longer, it will be too late!" Alan snapped rather indignantly. Despite talking, however, he did not stop trying to hold up Devon and Ronaldo's attacks.
"There's no need! Thank you for your help, Elder Hughes. I appreciate it but don't worry. You can release the Hiltons, and I'd very much like to see what they have up their sleeves! " Leon replied calmly.
"What?" Angus and Alan were utterly stunned to hear this, although none of them knew of the true extent of Leon's powers, they could make an educated guess based on his age.
Judging by how young he was, there was no way Leon could have surpassed the Emperor State, and on top of that, he seemed to have entered a weak state where he could not even muster the energy to get up from his wheelchair.
There was no way he would stand a chance against an Almighty Warrior in this state!
Yet, Leon not only refused to run away, but he even claimed that he could still take on his opponents! This was foolish talk, and none of them could understand how Leon dared to say this!

"What an arrogant little twat! I can't believe you dare to talk to me like that even in the face of death! I guess you have gotten tired of living, haven't you?" Devon was even more outraged to hear this.
"Shut up, old hag! Come at me with everything you have-l'd like to see you try!" Leon replied coldly, his tone full of contempt.
"Very well then! You asked for it, you twat! I'll let you pay the price for looking down on the Hiltons like this!" Devon was irate. Then, he and Declan successfully evaded Alan's attacks and leaped into the air, landing lightly on their feet in front of Leon!
The rest of the Hiltons, like Devon, were equally outraged by Leon's cockiness. The three Initial Almighty Warriors sped right past Sixth-Uncle Thompson and the rest of the martial artists' defense, and darted straight toward Leon!
In a split second, Leon became the target of everyone's attention!
"Oh no. there's no way he'll get out of this alive!" the color drained from Angus and Alan's faces as their hearts sank, especially Alan-he wanted nothing more than to stop Devon and Declan from attacking Leon, but it was too late now!
Besides, both Devon and Declan were equally as powerful as he was, and they also had three Initial Almighty Warriors by their side. Even if Alan managed to chase after them, there was no way he could hold off so many of them at the same time!
In conclusion, there was no way Leon could survive this unless a miracle occurred!
"Perfect!" in contrast to Alan and Angus' ashen looks, a glimmer of triumphant malice flashed through Leon's eyes. He still had two secret weapons with him-the Cuff of Doom and the final Potential Energy Force that Master Haslewood gifted him!
However, since the Cuff of Doom was only capable of unleashing attacks of the Intermediate Almighty State, there was no way that he could use it to combat Devon and Declan at the same time.
The only way he could do this was if he used his final Potential Energy Force!
However, the Potential Energy Force possessed such a large field of action that he did not want to employ it too soon for fear that he would accidentally harm Alan and the rest instead!
Therefore, Leon deliberately provoked Devon in hopes that they would come for him instead. That way, he could use the Potential Energy Force against them and declare victory!
The rest of the Hiltons could easily be taken care of by Alan, Sixth-Uncle Thompson, and the rest!
Just as Leon was about to unleash his Potential Energy
Force, however, a black car screeched to a halt in front of them.
The car door swung open, and two formidable men who commanded attention stepped out.
It was none other than Oliver and Abraham!
"Stop what you're doing! We're the Dragon Corps. Who dares to commit murder right underneath our noses?" despite sounding extremely commanding, they both immediately balked when they caught sight of Devon, Declan, and the rest of the Hiltons charging straight toward Leon.
Then, without a moment's hesitation, they surged straight toward Leon!

"Huh? The Dragon Corps? What are they doing here?" Devon and Declan were both stunned to hear of Oliver and Abraham's sudden appearance.
The Dragon Corps was in charge of maintaining peace and were akin to the judiciary system of the Gangster World. As bold as the Hiltons were, none of them would even dare to commit murder right under the Dragon Corps’ noses!
Therefore, they had no choice but to release their hold on Leon.
"This is great! Leon is saved!" Alan and Angus, on the other hand, were delighted by the Dragon Corps' sudden arrival. They all thought that Leon would surely die, but now, the Dragon Corps arrived just in time and saved him!
Although none of them knew why the Dragon Corps showed up all of a sudden, it was clear that with the Dragon Corps getting involved, none of the Hiltons would dare to lay even a finger on Leon!
They all felt as though a weight was lifted off their shoulders!
"Sir! Mister Wolf, are you okay?" Oliver and Abraham asked in concern as they approached Leon.
Abraham was always an impulsive fellow, and when he saw how pale and sickly Leon looked in the wheelchair, he assumed that it was due to injuries suffered from Devon's attack, so he turned to shoot Devon a murderous glare.
"Have these men from the Dragon Corps gone insane?" Devon and Declan felt their hearts lurch at this, the Dragon Corps rarely got involved in ordinary folks' business, but not only did they show up all of a sudden, they even voluntarily approached Leon, appearing to be very much concerned about his safety.
Besides, Abraham was behaving very hostile toward the Hiltons, as though they committed a heinous crime! This was no doubt quite confusing for them.
"I'm fine," Leon shook his head, smiling. Although he had the Potential Energy Force with him and was not at all intimidated by the Hiltons, he was concerned that he would hurt the Hughes or the Thompsons in the process of retaliation. Besides, this was his final Potential Energy Force, and he was not even entirely sure if he could take down both Devon and Declan at the same time with it!
If he were to make a mistake, there would undoubtedly be a heavy price to pay for that!
However, luck was on his side, and the Dragon Corps arrived just in time. Not only did this work very much in his favor, but the Dragon Corps would be able to diffuse the tension before it escalated!
"That's good to hear." Both Abraham and Oliver appeared relieved to hear this.
"Sirs, what brings you here today?" Devon could not help asking as a bad feeling arose in his heart.
"Elder Hiltons, we should be the ones asking you this instead! If I'm not mistaken, this is in fact, the Scammells’ residence. What are you doing, trespassing into other people's private residences with such ferocity? Are you trying to bully innocent folk?" Oliver asked sharply.
