Ch. 1651..1660

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1651-Frank kept his eyes fixed on Mole as he said, "What I wrote is clear-Augustraff. That's a herb I identified from the scent."

Mole held his gaze in turn. "I'm not senile enough to fail to read. My question is this-do you know what happens when Augustraff is mixed with the other herbs in this list?"

"Augustraff…"

Nearby, Kairo did a double take before lowering his gaze and muttering to himself, "If it was really put in the soup, it would turn everything into poison! The herbs would counteract each other, and body waste would build up within the body over the next three days before whoever consumes it dies… oh!"

Kairo understood right then-Frank did not make a mistake, aside from including an extra item: Augustraff.

And that would in turn throw off Frank's review of the soup by a country mile.

Kairo sighed and shook his head at the thought. "There's no Augustraff in the soup-my tongue wasn't playing tricks on me.

"If there was, that would mean that this trial is no trial, but a mass poisoning incident. Kornac's Keep would definitely not do something like that. "Frank Lawrence might appear skilled, but the difference in a single herb denied him everything. Mole Cricks is clearly protective of the reputation of Kornac's Keep, which was why he gave Frank zero points. Otherwise, their community won't be able to survive the accusations of poisoning fellow healers."

Horey nodded in agreement beside him-zero points for Frank was actually deserved.

Even Ira had recovered from his initial shock as he realized that Frank was mostly right and was inwardly rejoicing.

After all, thank the heavens the bastard messed up, or he would be kneeling and singing for him!

"Hey, just leave already and quit wasting our time."

"Exactly! You're slandering Kornac's Keep of poisoning us participants!"

"Hell, even slander should have its limits!"

"He must be from a rivaling sect, coming to disturb the trials."

"The elders of Kornac's Keep should step up and chase him out!"

"Yeah! Chase him out!"

As everyone started to snap at Frank, Mole was scowling too. "Go back to wherever you came from, or don't blame us for getting rough with you!"

Frank, however, simply sighed with a ele look of disappointment despite the angry mob.I heard that Kornac's Keep has a good reputation in their circle despite being a modest group… But I'm just disappointed. Nothing of worth is lost even if I walk away now." As he turned to leave amid the angry shouts, Ira laughed out loud. "You're the one who's harboring ill will, and you're shifting blame on Kornac's Keep? You're really something else, kiddo!" Kairo was shaking his head too. "Hmph. Trying to act smart and getting caught in your own schemes? Your attitude is a problem, and having you practil Draconian traditional medicine would only bring shame to the rest ofus." However, just as everyone watched Frank leave, a booming voice spoke from beneath the Kornac's Keep signboard. "Wait."

"Eh?"

Everyone turned, because it was not Mole who spoke.

Instead, it was Yosil Darman, the white-haired elder sitting beneath the signboard who clearly outranked Mole.

In fact, Mole was surprised that Yosil was speaking up too.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1652-After all, Yosil was the castellan of Kornac's Keep!

Yosil slowly opened his eyes and flashed a vague smile as Frank turned to him. "I've been watching, young man-you only sniffed the cauldron and wrote down your answer. Why didn't you taste the soup? You might stand a better chance of getting it right that way, no?"

Frank stopped in his tracks, but his stance clearly did not change as he retorted, "Why should I taste it when it's poisoned?"

If anything, he appeared even surer now.

"Insolence!"

Mole was snapping at Frank right then, "Watch your tongue, boy! You're speaking with the castellan of Kornac's Keep!"

Frank shot him a look of disdain in turn. "And, what? Are you saying that being older makes everything right?"

Mole was left flushing. "You wretch?!"

"Manners, Mole Cricks."

Yosil held up a hand, stopping Mole from snapping at Frank as he twirled his beard. "You are right, young man. While I am a mentor and have lived for two centuries, my knowledge in Draconian traditional medicine is superficial."

Pausing, he flashed a kindly smile and said, "I hereby announced that I have reevaluated this young man's answer-and his score is 120 points."

"What?!"

Yosil's announcement left everyone including Mole and the other Kornac's Keep elders turning toward him in shock.

"Huh?! Is that geezer being serious?!"

Ira was naturally flustered to hear that Frank's score was suddenly 120 points. "Sir, that brat has been disrespectful and slandering your et community! The way I see it, he should be given zero points and chased out of this enclave. Why Would you score him higher than us instead?!" "Exactly!" Kairo exclaimed, clearly unhappy too. "Are you suggesting that we're all wrong, while he's the only one who got it right?"

The elders of Kornac's Keep and Mole were scowling as well, though they said nothing.

"Hahaha…."

Yosil simply chuckled despite being questioned. "All of you are right. It's just prova Mr. Lawrence here has AO.UMS proven to be a class above…Pausing, he then burst out laughing as he pointed at the cauldron. "After all, I did add Augustraff into the soup. I simply made sure to add other herbs that counteract it before the soup boiled, so most of you stood no chance in identifying it." "What?!"

Yosil's explanation left everyone stunned.

So Frank's answer was actually right? But if he was, that also meant…

The participants were all scowling, as they realized that they had all been poisoned and would die in three days!

Ira turned toward Frank, his face pale as he realized that the man was never trying to show off.

He avoided tasting the soup at all… because he already knew it was poisoned!

"Chief…"

Mole was feeling embarrassed, as he had drunk the soup too, which was why he had the answers in his mind.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1653-However, Mole did not identify the Augustraff added into the soup, but Frank did.

Did that not mean that Mole, despite being an elder of Kornac's Keep, lost out to one of the participants in terms of herbology and medicinal knowledge?!

While he was scowling terribly, he turned toward Yosil with an exasperated look and tried to hide his embarrassment as he asked, "Chief, we've always been cordial to outsiders and potential apprentices. How could you poison everyone in a trial?"

"That's right!"

The other participants were panicking too-what was Kornac's Keep scheming by poisoning everyone?!

"Hahaha….. It was just a whim I had in the spur of the moment."

Yosil laughed, holding up his hands. "This yearly trial is really getting boring-it's time we try something new, don't you think?"

"Well, if I'm not mistaken…"

Frank spoke calmly as everyone watched, "The second trial would be to identify the symptoms, thereby tailoring an antidote to counteract the poison?"

While everyone gasped in realization, Yosil nodded.

"Yes. You are quite sharp, young man."

Yosil spoke with a smile of satisfaction. "For the second, the participants will identify the poison plaguing your bodies and attempt to counteract it. Naturally, you will also fight against the symptoms kicking in while you work… which is around now."

"I hereby announce the commencement of the second trial. Naturally, you may choose to forfeit and claim an antidote from me. I swear by the honor of Kornac's Keep that this antidote would definitely cure you."

As Yosil spoke, over a dozen apprentices arrived with baskets full of herbs and giant cauldrons, clearly used for the trials.

That was when Kairo raised his hand. "Castellan, I have a question."

Yosil smiled, stroking his beard. "Kairo Wal of Cloudnine Sect, I believe? Ask away."

"We have all been poisoned and our abilities would be affected for the next trial. However…"

Kairo frowned as he pointed at Frank, "He was never poisoned. It's not fair to the rest of us facing the second trial."

"That's right!"

Ira quickly agreed. "I can actually feel the nausea kicking in, clearly affecting my judgment of the here and toxicology involved. It's not fair that he's unaffected!" The other participants quickly joined in the protest. "Yes! We demand fairness!"

Even Mole Strode up to Frank, demanding, "Mr. Lawrence, you may have identified that the soup was poisoned, but you should take a sip of it so that this trial may proceed with fairness." Yosil was watching Frank with curiosity in turn, eager to see what he would choose.

As everyone looked on, Frank then spoke, "I was going to say that none of you could see that the soup was actually poisoned and drank without considering the consequences." "I, on the other hand, did, and I therefore have every reason to refuse to drink it."

"However…

While everyone was frowning, presuming that Frank would refuse to drink the soup, Frank smirked coolly at them.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1654-"Since you're all demanding fairness, I will play along this one time so that you don't get to argue anymore."

With those words, Frank lifted the cauldron with one hand and swallowed the remaining soup and all the sediments whole.

"What?! No!!!"

Even Yosil was left gaping, throwing up his hands in protest. "There's not much soup left, but the poison of the sediments is especially potent! If you drank that much, you're not going to… to…"

Mole was frowning too.

The participants only tasted the soup with spatulas or with their fingers, which meant that the poison was at least manageable.

However, Frank must have chugged twenty people's worth and even at the sediments!

He was clearly suicidal!

"Sir, what…"

Mole turned toward Yosil, unsure what to do.

"You've made a mistake, my friend!" Yosil slammed his fist on his table, sighing as he saw Frank was bleeding black ooze from every orifice.

He thought highly of Frank, but the kid proved too hot-tempered!

Yosil was especially shocked because he knew the poison better than anyone even if he tried to help now, Frank would still be bedridden for around a year!

"Shit…"

Ira was left clicking his tongue as he watched Frank consume so much poison too.

Was he just trying to show off or simply suicidal?

Kairo was astonished as well.

He was worried Frank would outscore him again, especially now that Frank had the advantage of not being poisoned.

That was why he suggested Frank drank the poison like the rest of them, only for Frank to chug a ton of it. It certainly caught him off guard! "Blargh!!!"

། Frank collapsed on one knee just then and coughed out a thick, black chunk of clotted blood—a symptom showing that the poison had reached an advanced stage. Still, he wiped his lips and looked up at Kairo and the others with considerable difficulty. "So, do you call this fair? Are you satisfied?" Seeing that, Yosil rose to his feet with a frown. "You can forfeit, my friend! I will personally treat you as there's still hope yet, or—"

"No!"

Frank helped up a hand, stopping the Kornac's Keep apprentices from rushing to his aid.

Wobbling a few steps, he wiped his mouth again and straightened himself flashing a proud smile at Yosil. "Shall we continue with the second trial, now that the poison in me has kicked in?" Seeing that Frank was being stubborn, Kairo actually gave in and reasoned, "You should let the yel et castellan treat you. You'd lose your life trying to show off here!" "That's just… ruthless."

Ira was shaking his head, actually afraid of mocking Frank just then.

The man knew that he was drinking poison but went out of his way to drink an entire cauldron-he was clearly throwing away his life!

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1655-Nheless, Frank ignored Kairo and turned toward Mole, demanding loudly, "Are we starting the second trial or not?"

"Well…"

Mole turned toward Yosil, since this was an unprecedented case.

Yosil was staring at Frank in turn, seeing the determination and composure in his eyes, devoid of panic or fear.

It seemed that he was really not throwing away his life out of sheer pettiness, but to silence all his doubters.

And that left Yosil stunned.

After a while, he nodded at Mole. "Begin."

"Sir-"

"I said we can begin, or perhaps you don't understand?"

Yosil's expression turned cool, projecting such a terrible presence that it left Mole flinching.

"N-No…"

Mole leveled a troubled look at Frank before pointing at the herbs and cauldrons that the Kornac's Keep apprentices brought. "The second trial begins now! Participants, you now have one hour to concoct an antidote in an hour to counteract the poison plaguing you… or you will die!"

The participants all felt a chill running down their spine when they heard the word 'die'.

Still, most of them also turned simultaneously toward the man who was poisoned the worst, because he was forced to play fair.

"Hmph. You dug your own grave. You don't get to blame anyone!"

Kairo snorted, perceiving Frank's cold shoulder to be an insult to himself. Chuckling coolly, he walked on stage and started to choose his herbs.

On the other hand, when Ira walked past Frank, he somehow appeared apologetic "Sorry, man. Look, just don't haunt me when you die, okay? It's all Kairo Wal-he was the one who goaded you into drinking poison." Kairo, who overheard him, scowled even harder.

"Phew…"

Be that as it may, Frank did not go onstage with the others to pick herbs right away.

Instead, he sat down in meditation and used the Five-Peat Archaeus to repress the poison in his body.

After all, he had ingested too much poison earlier. Forget the second trial-he would faint right now if he did not stop it right away.

That being said, Frank had to drink that much poison… just to be poisoned.

Now that his physique was Transcendent rank, it was no exaggeration to say that he was impervious to poison.

If he did what the others did and only took small sips, forget being poisoned-the substance would be dissolved as soon as he took it.

As such, he had no choice but to take the entire cauldron of poison just to get the symptoms of poisoning.

But since he had overdosed, he had to suppress it.

Though Frank was not trying to be vain or sensational since he had no choice, what he did still made him the center of attention.

The crowd was therefore understandably restless, understandably looking amazed.

After all, everyone was busy choosing their herbs for the second trial, but Frank was sitting alone on the floor, his eyes closed doing god-knows-what. Ira was speechless even as he turned to look at Frank. "Shit, he's been poisoned so terribly, but he's calmly cultivating instead? That's just amazing…" Only Kairo was staring at Frank coolly, a malicious plan hatching in his mind. Fairness, he said? Hehe…

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1656-Seeing that everyone except Frank had chosen their herbs, Kairo returned on stage, swiping and taking what remained on the table.

With that, all the herbs that were not chosen for the second trial were slid into his pocket.

"Huh?"

Yosil and the other Kornac's Keep elders were frowning when they saw what Kairo did.

Being sly old foxes themselves, they could certainly tell what Kairo was doing.

Frank had certainly stolen the limelight earlier, embarrassing Kairo.

As such, Kairo now sought payback by taking away any herbs Frank could use, aside from some useless mudroots.

And without any herbs, Frank was not going to counteract the poison in his body.

"Kairo Wal-"

Even before Mole could start, Kairo shrugged innocently. "There's no rule stating how many herbs we can take, is there? I'm going to try every herb to see if I can make a quality pill."

Kairo's words left Mole stumped, and he turned with a frown at Frank.

Seeing that Frank was still seated meditatively, unaware of everything around him, Mole suddenly wondered what Frank would do when he woke up and saw that there was nothing but useless mudroot As such, while he was going to stop Kairo earlier, he turned toward Yosil and realized that Yosil was watching Frank in interest, clearly thinking the same thing.

Seeing that, Mole simply decided to look the other way.

Time flew, and soon, forty minutes passed.

At this point, most of the participants still taking part in the second trial had identified the toxicology of the soup. In fact, some of the more gifted individuals were using the cauldrons that Kornac's Keep provided to cook pills. Ira was one of them.

As his cauldron's fire subsided, he put on out pill the size of a cost gloves and gingerly swno A herbal aroma filled the air right then, and Mole nodded in satisfaction-while it was nothil special, it would still counteract the poison Ira drank. That meant that he got a passing mark.

"Hahaha… I was just lucky." Ira smiled proudly, looking at the successful pill and inhaling its sweet scent.

Nheless, a stronger herbal aroma wafted across the air, as Kairo's cauldron fire subsided.

"Hup!" Kairo yelled as he smacked his palm on the cauldron.

A crystalline white pill shot out of the cauldron right then, and Kairo caught it in the air.

"Amazing!" Mole's eyes lit up at once at the sight of that white pill.

If Ira's pill was of passing mark and barely qualified as a pill, Kairo's was a treasure.

It was nothing divine, but a rarity nheless.

Counteracting poison with that pill was basically overkill, especially with the other effects it had.

"Not bad."

Even Yosil was clapping in approval.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1657-It seemed that the herbs were not entirely wasted on Kairo, as he actually showed skill.

Still, just as Kairo was done, everyone turned toward Frank again.

There were no herbs, and there was just fifteen minutes left.

Seemingly sensing their stares, Frank slowly opened his eyes and pushed himself to his feet with considerable difficulty.

"Hehe…"

Kairo smirked at Frank, feeling endlessly confident with the pure white pill in his palm.

Even if Frank had profound cultivation, he was not turning the tide when he had neither the time nor the herbs.

In fact, Kairo believed his victory was assured, while Frank slowly shambled toward the stage to get herbs as he watched with a smirk.

He was actually surprised for once when he saw that only useless mudroots were left.

Still, he understood when he looked and saw Kairo's smirk and the pure white pill he was holding.

The prick had taken away the other herbs, clearly out of revenge because Frank rubbed him the wrong way.

Frank, however, simply sneered in turn-did Kairo think he was out of options just because he had no herbs? Hence, as everyone watched, Frank picked up the remaining mudroots and shambled toward the remaining cauldron.

"Eh?"

Kairo's smirk faded when he saw that Frank was not giving up, confusion and doubt showing on his face.

He had taken away any herb that could counteract poison, and the remaining mudroots simply would not help.

In fact, the layman would probably be unaware that as its name suggested, mudroots had the earth-elemental essence.

Using that against poison would not just be ineffective, but it would actually catalyze the potency of the poison, even imploding it.

That was exactly what Kairo was planning for when he took away everything except the mudroots.

Still, seeing Frank so willingly take the mudroots as well left Kairo feeling doubtful.

And from the first trial, Kairo could tell that Frank was clearly no layman The man definitely knew that mudroots would not counteract the poison in his body, but he took the mudroot anyway. The thought process involved was really a mystery to Kairo. In fact, be could not help wondering if Frank had given up and was trying to catalyze the poison to kill himself quicker. Ira thought the same, since he knew about the side effects of the mudroot as well.

And seeing Frank taking so many left him clicking his tongue.

"My friend."

et That was when Yosil spoke with a frown. "You don't have to use the mudroot. I'll have my res."

bring other herbs from our stores." Swn It was a clear hint to Frank that he should not use the mudroot to cook pills.

Frank, however, waved him off. "Don't bother. The mudroots are enough."

Kairo sneered savagely as he watched. "He said it himself."

The brat was certainly stubborn, insisting on using the mudroot… and so, he shall reap the consequences of his own actions!

Kairo certainly was eager to see if Frank could remain so defiant when the poison in his body imploded.

"Oh… Uh, okay…" Yosil sighed exasperatedly at Frank's refusal.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1658-"Oh… Uh, okay…" Yosil sighed exasperatedly at Frank's refusal.

There was nothing he could say now.

As time continued to tick away, Frank threw all the mudroots into the cauldron and cooked them with a huge fire.

His desperate reaction left Kairo's sinister smile broadening.

Beside him, Horey Lindt was frowning instead. "Could it be…"

Catching her murmur, Kairo turned toward her with a look of surprise. "What is it?"

"It's nothing…" Horey shrugged. "But I think there's this technique of using contravening medicinal effects….."

"What?!" Kairo's heart skipped a beat, at once uncomfortable.

Still, Horey quickly assured him, "Oh, don't worry about it. Not many people would even be aware, let alone him. It's just something I read from an old book-the technique itself has been lost to time."

"I see…"

Kairo nodded, but he remained uncomfortable as he saw the confidence in Frank's expression.

Did Frank perhaps know that contravening technique by chance?

However, while Kairo was busy speculating and the other participants busy staring, there was a shrill crack echoing from Frank's cauldron.

In no time at all, hairline fractures were suddenly appearing all over the surface of the cauldron, and before anyone knew it, Frank's cauldron blew up with a resounding crash!

"What?!"

Yosil, who had been watching in his seat hopefully, actually exclaimed out loud.

"Hahahaha!!!"

On the other hand, Kairo was laughing on top of his lungs immediately, especially when he saw the black mudroots that were strewn all over the ground.

The cauldron was destroyed even before the mudroots were dissolved.

There was no doubt it now-Frank had lost!

"Shit, man…"

Ira froze even as he stared at the cauldron fragments, murmuring, "Well, this is really it…"

Even the crowd who actually held hopes for Frank were sighing in disappoint. While he showed spine when he took Kairo's nét challenge head-on, and then went on to turn down Yosil's kind warning, his cauldron literally exploded now. Forget taking a handicap for a fair contest against Kairo-the man was probably going to die now!

However, just as everyone was ready to see Frank concede, they found him frowning at the scattered mudroot and sighing. "It seems that the cauldron quality is wanting…' "Give up already, you imbecile!"

Kairo strode up, his attitude at once high and mighty as he glared downward at Frank. "Forfeit yourself from the second trial, and some extra antidote just might save you. Keep being stubborn and you will die!"

"Yeah, man…"

Ira reasoned with Frank too. "Just concede right now, and you'll get the antidote over there right away. You might really live here… Anything is possible as long as you stay alive, so quit putting on airs already, okay?"

Even as everyone tried to persuade Frank to give up and take the antidote, Mole strode up before Frank, barking, "I hereby announce that Frank is forfeited as a bel.fo participant of our trials. Get over there and take your antidote already-you'll die if you're too late."

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1659-Despite everyone's effort to tell Frank to concede, he breathed a long sigh and turned toward Mole. "Why is that so? I haven't given up yet."

"Huh?!"

Mole was left frowning, as Frank was still being stubborn even now. "Understand your position! I'm telling you to forfeit so that you won't die senselessly—I'd rather not have your death tarnish our reputation, even if this is your own fault."

Suddenly remembering how Frank drank the entire cauldron of poison, Mole smirked at him.

His miserable state now was certainly hilarious!

That was when Frank said, "I don't need you to worry about my life."

His calm words jolted Mole out of his thoughts, and he was left staring at Frank in shock. "Do you have a death wish?"

"Of course not."

Frank looked at him confidently. "But the trial isn't over yet, is it?"

"No…"

Mole frowned, glancing at the hourglass on the table beside Yosil. "But there's only five minutes left. What are you going to—"

"You don't have to worry about that."

Frank smiled and pushed himself to stand, picking up the jet black mudroot.

Mole appeared resigned at that point, shaking his head. "Fine! You're the most stubborn man I've ever met, but since you want to continue, so be it! Don't think you can blame your death on our heads, because this is all your own doing!"

"Not a problem." Frank nodded without hesitation.

His resilient attitude left Kairo annoyed too.

Frank had less than five minutes and no herbs, and even his cauldron blew up.

How was he going to turn the tables now?

Was he just being stubborn just to mess with Kairo?

If that was Frank's plan, Kairo had to admit that Frank had succeeded, because he was feeling very annoyed.

Glaring at Frank, he snapped coolly, "Get down on your knees and kowtow three times, admit that you were at fault, and I'll give you my pill. It won't heal you right away, but you won't have to stay bedridden for years." However, he was left further annoyed as Frank completely ignored him.

"Well, since I can't use the cauldron…" Frank muttered to himself, and as everyone watched, he crushed the mudroots in his fingers.

Then, pinching a pile of mud off the ground, he mixed it with the minced mudroot and threw it into the fire under the cauldron.

"What…?"

Ira was left raising a brow-what on earth was he doing, making popcorn?

Kairo was taken aback, but he soon laughed so hard that he was shedding tears. "You had to beal. ne?

healer instead of a chef… what a waste!" Frank, however, remained unaffected by the diss and surprise.

et The Five-Peat Archaeus flowed along both his arms, and with his pure vigor charging it, the cauldron's flames erupted into a blinding pillar of inferno. "Shaping the pill with flames, charged with pure vigor…"

Yosil shook his head in silence.

It was a viable method, but the pill would not be a pill, as it would be more apt to call it a mudball.

And what good would a mudball do, at all?

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1660-Yosil had never seen such a technique being employed and therefore presumed it to be nonsensical just like everyone else.

Mild flames were used in pill refinement to extract the medical essence within herbs and combined with other essences to shape a pill.

It was not just a technique, but a task that required delicate precision.

Frank was behaving just like some flunky in an exam, filling in random answers just before the time was up.

But this was no exam, and random answers would not do Frank any good.

To no surprise, just as Mole announced that the time was up, Frank extracted a jet black pill.

Unlike Ira or Kairo's pills that swirled with a herbal aroma, Frank's pill smelled charred like burned minced meat, leaving a stink in the air.

"Hahahaha!!!"

Kairo and the rest of the participants were all laughing when they saw Frank's black pill.

The man was certainly amusing and so stubborn that he would cook a mud ball with what time he had.

What a laugh!

Even Yosil was sighing in disappointment.

"Now, participants will present their final work!" Mole announced loudly.

All the participants quickly brought out what they made to Mole's table for appraisal, which ranged from pills and powdered herbs to potions. "Kairo Wal!"

Mole was immediately nodding in satisfaction when he saw Kairo's flawlessly white pill.

Be it in appearance or medicinal value, it was an excellent specimen that would more than counteract the poison he ingested.

"Kairo Wal, one hundred points!"

"Hehe…"

Kairo chuckled-he scored full points again.

Then, turning toward Frank gleefully, he asked, "Why don't you get 120 points again? I'll prostrate myself in front of you, how about Frank remained impassive but nodded. "If you say so."

That left Kairo doing a double take. "Hmph. Getting full of yourself just because I'm being nice!"

At the same time, Mole announced, "Ira Summers! Eighty points!"

Ira seemed pleased despite clearly losing in points.

After that, it was Horey Lindt's turn, and she somehow beat even her senior apprentice.

"Horey Lindt! 105 points!"

The crowd was left abuzz.

They thought Kairo's pill was perfect, but Horey actually surpassed her senior apprentice?!

One could only be impressed by the Cloudnine Sect apprentices!

"Ahem… Frank Lawrence…"

Eventually Mole moved on to Frank, and black turned toward the I Frank was holding ri swnon then. Some with more keen eyes could pally see that the pill surface was peeling off, dyeing Frank's fingers black. Everyone was laughing out loud right then.
