Ch. 1711..1720

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1711-While Frank was being confined at Blackwater, Huub Droitner was glowering as he paced around in his hotel room.

He would shoot an occasional but vicious glare at his goon who was kneeling nearby before eventually bellowing, "Incompetent fools!"

Even as the goon flinched, Huub ranted, "All I told you is to find an herb for me, but none of you could find it?! What's the point of me keeping any of you around?! You're all useless!"

The goon was certainly wounded by Huub's blame too. "But, sir-the herb is really rare! We asked everyone we could ask across Zamri and Bralog, but no one knew about it! There's no way we would know! And if no one knows, we don't even know where to start!"

Huub might have promised Helen that he would bring her a Bloodcrane Spiritbloom, but in reality, he did not know what it was.

In fact, he had never heard that name before he was just trying to look good, snapping back at Frank and pretending that he knew to impress Helen. As such, when Helen urged him to bring it to her, he promised that a courier was on his way, while sending out all his people to find one at the same time.

In his mind, with the extensivework of Droitner Inc., getting a mere herb could not be easier-it was all just a matter of time.

If he had to, he could just say that his people were delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, shifting the blame in its entirety.

And since Helen needed the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom so urgently, she would not mind a small delay.

With that, Huub would have Helen's affection, while he got Frank to disappear so that he could claim Helen, along with other goodies from Lanecorp. After all, Lanecorp had changed now-even Droitner Inc. had heard about their sudden growth all the way in Bralog.

And with Noel York, the best actress of Draconia joining their ranks, Lanecorp's reputation was now heard far and wide. Still, Huub calmed down a little after hearing his goon's complaints.

། Rubbing his chin, he frowned and murmured to himself, "Could it really be that rare? So many people not knowing about an herb… Well, that's a first." "Mr. Droitner, Mr. Droitner-!"

Another goon charged into the hotel room just then, at once thrilled and delighted. "I've found it!" "Really?!"

Huub appeared delighted despite the second goon's lack of manners, while shooting a glare at the first goon who claimed it could not be found. See? What was that about everyone not knowing about a single herb? What did he have to say now that his colleague had found one?

The first goon was as shocked as he was dejected, because he was not lying-he had sent a lot of people to go looking, and the reports he received were all the same: no one had even heard about it.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1712-As his colleague now reported that he had found the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom, the goon wondered if his men were all working together to trick him by telling him that no one had told him about it.

Still, he decided it was not the case, as his men had been working for him for a while.

Moreover, they heard that Huub was willing to pay five million dollars for it, so they would definitely want that money.

As such, he was keen to see this Bloodcrane Spiritbloom his colleague was bringing Huub.

Still, Huub did a double take just then, seeing the gleeful look on his goon's face but nothing in his hands. "You said you've found it—well, where is it?"

Though the goon's smile faded, he quickly threw up his hands. "The Bloodcrane Spiritbloom is really precious, Mr. Droitner… I can't hold it with my bare hands."

Huub nodded that made sense, as touching the herb directly might ruin it. "Then where is it? We will go and get it right now!"

"Okay!"

The goon did not keep everyone in suspense and quickly led Huub to a funeral parlor. He then pointed at the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom on the list of flower circlets available.

"There it is, Mr. Droitner!"

The goon smiled smugly, rearing his chin and not noticing the cold look on Huub's face. "Oh, you have no idea how hard it was to find this. It took me a trip around the whole city to find this geezer, and he said he's the only one who could make it—"

Smack!

The gleeful goon was waiting to be praised, only to be slapped loudly across the face and see Huub shaking with rage.

"You bastard! I want a herb, not a freaking circlet! If you like it, I'll let you wear one right now!"

The goon promptly kowtowed repeatedly and apologized. "Please, Mr. Droitner! But I can't find it anywhere else… I just heard about this geezer by chance, and I asked in hopes that he could help, and he said he could!" "You prick!"

Huub glowered furiously. "Then why did you bring me here? You could have just brought it over!"

"Well…"

The goon held his red-hot cheek while muttering, "He demanded a hundred grand for one, so I had to call you…"

Huub almost passed out right then-the geezer took his goon for a sucker, so his goon was trying his luck with him as well?!

Livid, he slapped the goon across the face right then, knocking him out, foaming from his mouth.

"Oh, ho ho…."

Just then, a geezer with an unscrupulous face rubbed his hands as he stepped out.

With just one look at the three men, he could tell right away that Huub was the leader.

vel.ne "You're the gentleman who wanted the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom, yes?" he asked, smiling. "Hehe… I don't mind telling you that it's my humble outlet's specialty. The flower actually fake, but it'd look more genuine than the real deal. As he spoke, he glanced at Huub's unconscious goon, his eyes flashing greedily instead of calling for a doctor. "Good! The auguries have proclaimed that today is a good day to die, sir! You will definitely Ov reincarnate into a rich family in your next life!"

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1713- "What the hell?"

Huub's expression was as cold as ice.

He always knew that undertakers were so eloquent that they could give fortune tellers a run for their money. However, nothing they ever said would be true, as it was all a sales pitch.

And Huub could not care less about people like them, so he snorted and turned to leave.

"Hey now, sir!"

Seeing that Huub was going to abandon his unconscious goon, the unscrupulous geezer hurried to him and started rambling, "You could let me handle his funeral matters. I promise that it will be my finest work. The deposit would be…"

As his eyes narrowed in glee and he rubbed his hands at Huub, his intention could not have been clearer.

"Fuck off!" Huub's other goon barked.

He had come to see what was this Bloodcrane Spiritbloom his colleague found, only for him to bring them to such a dank, gloomy place.

And as it turned out, his colleague messed up big time.

The goon would have laughed—in fact, he wanted to do it from the start. But seeing the furious look on Huub's face, he did not dare to do so.

"What…"

The geezer thought they were here for funeral services, only for them to snap at him.

And judging from their looks, they had money, so he only smiled awkwardly without insulting them.

Still, as he left, he shook his head in exasperation and sighed softly. "I thought that gentleman on the floor was a savant, taking a liking to the flower I made and was eager to show you. But now… I guess no one appreciates art these days!"

"Watch your mouth!" the goon snapped at the geezer again, still holding back his laughter.

Nheless, as the geezer shrugged nonchalantly and headed behind his shoplet, Huub's pho started ringing. Naturally, it was none other than Helen, who urged Huub politely despite her anxiety, "Has the herb arrived, Mr. Droitner? The kidnapper has just called again, threatening to hurt my uncle in two hours if she still doesn't see the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom. I'm afraid-" "It's fine, it's fine. It will be here soon," Huub replied half-heartedly, his eyes darting evasively.

Still, he spotted a fake flower that looked very much like it was alive and suddenly had an idea.

"Sorry, Helen-I'm busy right now. Let's talk later," he said, and hung up.

Then, he held out a hand, stopping his goon from leaving the nameless shoplet.

"What is it, sir?"

His goon looked at him in confusion.

Huub did not explain himself, however, and instead turned toward the geezer. "Since you're that confident, show me the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom you've made." "Oh?"

The geezer's eyes lit up immediately. "It seems that someone here knows his goods!"

And with those words, he excitedly headed out through the back door to fetch it.

When he was goon, the goon asked gingerly, "Sir, you know that it's a fake flower, right? That means- "I know." Huub snorted, though a smile soon appeared on his lips.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1714-Huub snorted before chuckling coolly. "But if I haven't seen the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom before, do you think Helen Lane or her mother would? The only ones who have would be Frank Lawrence and that kidnapper… Hell, maybe that kidnapper never saw it too."

The goon realized what he was saying right then. "Oh! So you're saying…"

Huub nodded, his lips curling into a sneer. "Yes. Since no one would know what it looks like, I could just get something that could pass off as the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom. Helen Lane and her mother don't know anything anyway, and if the kidnapper kills her hostage, I just have to keep denying it, and it's good as done.

"Hell, I could use that as an excuse to inflate the value of the flower, forcing her into submission through an astronomical debt. I won't lose anything even if she refuses-I'd just take her by force."

Huub's good had to give him a thumbs up in praise. "You're a genius, sir!"

Soon, the unscrupulous geezer returned with a fragrant flower and red crystalline petals.

His craftsmanship was perfect-the flower was so flawlessly made no one would be able to tell the signs, as if it was a real blossom. Seeing that, Huub looked up in surprise. "That's the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom?"

"Yes." The geezer laughed heartily and smugly. "I spent years honing my skill for this, and it's really taxing, combining the motifs of a crane and a flower. It's not just the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom-whether it's the Yellowcrane Spiritbloom, the Whitecrane Spiritbloom, or the Blackcrane Spiritbloom, I can make anything you want.

"Since the ancients claim that the cranes are spirit animals and blood cranes prevent disasters, you can put a circlet of the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom around the decreased head, and even Hades wouldn't dare to mess with you."

Huub held up a man to stop the geezer's yapping, not bothered to listen as he asked bluntly, "Not another word from you. All I want to ask is this- how much for one flower?"

"One flower…"

Studying Huub and his goon, the geezer narrowed his eyes and smiled. "It's not much. Just five hundred grand."

"What?!"

Huub's goon sprang to his feet right then, pointing at his unconscious colleague and snapping coldly, "He already told us how much you were asking! It was just a hundred grand!"

"So what?"

The old man rolled his eyes, folding his arms before his chest. "That's in bulk-I'd give a discount if you buy more, but you're only buying one. How am I supposed to give you a discount?"

"What?!" The goon was ready to attack-the geezer was inflating the price on the spot!

"That's enough!"

Huub stood up, stopping his goon while speaking quietly. "Look, geezer-we're not stupid enough to let you dupe us like that. The flower is exquisitely made, but there's nothing amazing about its materials or functions. So, I'll pay your five hundred. Will you sell it?" "What?!"

The unscrupulous geezer's beard was bristling once he heard Huub's price, and he pointed a shaking ет finger between Huub and his goon. "Tactless… you're both tactless t took years of studies to perfect this "Enough!"

Swn Huub flailed his arm at the geezer, his expression sinister. "Quit giving me your nonsense-I won't hear a word of it. I'll ask one last time-five hundred for your Bloodcrane Spiritbloom. Will you sell it or not?"

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1715-"I refuse!"

The geezer remained determined.

"Hmph."

Huub snorted at his stubbornness and stepped aside.

His goon caught his cue right then.

He was naturally a powerful martial artist-that was how he got the job.

He strode forward right then and lifted the geezer off the ground, his face inches away from the geezer's as he growled threateningly, "Do you know who you're trying to con here? This is Huub Droitner of Bralog's Droitner Incorporated! It seems that you're really asking for it!"

"D-Droitner Incorporated? So what? T-This is Zamri, not Bralog! You don't get to strut here!"

The geezer remained defiant despite the goon's threat, but the panic in his eyes betrayed his fear.

"Strut, you say?"

Huub chuckled coolly nearby. "All of Zamri would soon be beneath my feet-pawns like you would never understand."

Walking up, he snatched the fake flower on the table. "I was going to pay you five hundred bucks for your troubles, but since you don't know what's good for you, you're not getting shit!"

"What?!"

The geezer exclaimed in disbelief as he looked on. "Are you stealing from me?! In broad daylight?!"

"So what if I am?" Huub shrugged and left.

His goon sneered as he watched Huub leave, having found out what he should do now from the look Huub gave him.

Pushing the geezer to the floor, he kicked the geezer viciously in the hip, leaving him screaming.

Meanwhile, Huub chuckled as he left the shoplet, his eyes flashing with cold lust.

"Well, I have everything I need now," he said, getting into his Lincoln and pouring himself a glass of wine.

The geezer screamed endlessly back at the shoplet until Huub's goon stepped out, his face covered in blood.

"Is he dead?" Huub smiled in amusement.

"No, sir. He's barely clinging to life," the goon replied respectfully, wiping the blood off his face.

"Good. We shouldn't kill on a whim since I intend to extend my business here." Huub smiled as he raised the car window. "Get on. We're going to an antique shop." "An antique shop? Why?"

ne The goon did a double take-should their priority not be to hurry to Lanecorp Tower to give Helen the fake Bloodcrane Spirit swnev "If it's an important herb, shouldn't it be kept in a nice box?" Huub shot back coolly.

The goon realized with a start, and got in thone car, giving Huub a thumbs up. "I see! That's cunning plan, Mr. Droit As night arrived, a special guest arrived at Blackwater.

Dressed totally in white albeit with a sword sheathed on her hip, Silverbell was the image of a goddess.

Behind her was the pudgy, grubby warden of the prison, Draco Fisher.

"Hehe…"

Draco's fat cheeks were squeezed together, his eyes narrowed into slits.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1716-"Hehe…"

Draco Fisher's fat cheeks were squeezed together, his eyes narrowed into slits.

He rubbed his pudgy hands together, salivating at the beautiful woman before him. "I didn't know you'd be visiting, Lady Silverbell! Sorry for not preparing a reception for you!"

"Save the formalities."

Silverbell maintained her cool demeanor as the chief of the Martial Alliance, the look on her face warning others to keep their distance. "I came for one reason—I want you to release one of your prisoners."

"What…"

Draco's eyes widened at Silverbell's cool yet melodious voice, but he was so fat that his eyes did not widen all that much.

Still, he shook his head and waved her off as if by instinct. "No, no, no. I'm afraid that won't do, Lady Silverbell. You know that Blackwater is under the grand commissioner's jurisdiction. Even as the president's confidants, you can't—"

"The person I want to free is not who you think it is."

Silverbell said quietly, "I don't know what bribes you've received or what nonsense you've been told that led to his arrest. However, once you've angered his connections, it won't just be the party who trumped up charges against him their families, and even you, would be resting in pieces."

"What?"

Draco was left sweating all over his face at Silverbell's threat, his grubby cheeks looking especially greasy and repulsive under the bright lights overhead.

However, despite being clearly afraid, he still probed Silverbell tentatively after some thought. "You must be joking, Lady Silverbell. I've only ever done my duty and never took bribes or listened to slander. Moreover, I'd also like to know on whose behalf you're…"

"The Lord of the Southern Woods," Silverbell replied bluntly.

Draco's face fell in an instant-after all, the Lord of the Southern Woods had a reputation in the country.

He once carved a bloody path into Talnam, forcing their king on their knees into submission and thus leaving such a fearsome reputation that it kept Talnam at bay to this day.

Were there many others who had accomplished such feats?

In fact, the mention of his title alone left Draco's throat dry and his face covered in sweat.

"T-Then…" he stammered. "Who is the prisoner to the Lord of the Southern Woods…?"

"His only son," Silverbell replied.

"Huh?!"

Thunderstruck, Draco dropped to his knees right then, his whole body shaking.

"It's over… It's all over!" Draco cried.

ne His brother Tigris Fisher had tried to give Frank the Willbreaker in an attempt to tame him, only for Frank to turn the tables and hold Tigris hostage for half a day now. When he was informed by Tigris' flunkies about the situation, he rushed to the cell where they were right then.

However, he could only stand

et outside and yell at Frank, since he did not dare to do anything aside from threaten Frank when Frank held his brother hostage. And yet, despite his threat, he now found out that the man was the son of the Lord of the Southern Woods.

What was that if not suicide?

He might be the warden of this prison, but he was really nothing compared to the great Lord of the Southern Woods.

Not only did his own brother try to torture the man's son, but Draco himself also yelled at Frank from outside his cell for quite a while even punishing the restal the inmates by having them starve for one day because of Frank Did that not mean he had offended Frank in no uncertain terms? What could he do when Frank came for him?

Draco shuddered at the very thought!

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1717-Naturally, Draco also knew that his ties to Droitner Inc. were even more incriminating than how he treated Frank here in Blackwater.

After all, Frank was arrested under charges that Droitner Inc. discovered, and there was no doubt that Droitner Inc. had been bribing him. That was how they could convince Draco to arrest Frank and lock him up in Blackwater.

If word got out, not only would there be a new warden, but his entire family would end up in a Blackwater cell too.

Experiencing an inmate's life notwithstanding, he would count himself lucky if he survived a day. After all, everyone had seen how he treated the inmates as a warden.

Even as he fully understood the consequences of what he did now, Draco was afraid to continue imagining.

How would Frank forgive them after what he and his brother had done before?

If he refused to release Frank or stubbornly refused to admit to his crimes, this would lead to a conflict of interest between the president of Draconia and the grand commissioner.

Once the Lord of the Southern Woods was forced to come forward and pacify the situation, he would face a fate worse than any other choices he could make before.

In other words, nothing he could choose would be good, since the Lord of the Southern Woods would not abandon his only son.

However, the second choice more or less bought his time.

And the longer he could put this off, so be it-things were past the point of no return.anyway. All he could family, flee abroad, and lead a was pack things up and bring his carefree life, thanks to the money he racked up as a warden over the years.

As for his own brother Tigris, he only had his own incompetence to blame. He really did not get to blame it on Draco after Frank took him hostage- there was no way he could rescue him.

Gritting his teeth, Draco made his choice right then.

Putting up an awkward look, he turned to Silverbell and said, "Lady Silverbell, see… the inmate may be the son of the Lord of the Southern Woods, but I'm sure you know the rules of Blackwater: there's only one way in, and no way out.

"Moreover, there are no innocents incarcerated here, so forget the son of the Lord of the Southern l Woods-even Godwin Lawrence himself would be incarcerated should he commit an atrocity. As such, I won't risk my life for your demands, or I'd have trouble explaining myself to the grand commissioner and probably get killed anyway."

As he spoke, he bowed respectfully to Silverbell. As such, I'd like to ask you to spare me if you want to secure your friend's release, ask president to negotiate with the belie grand commissioner, or you can ask the Lord of the Southern Woods himself to do it if that doesn't work.

"Once the grand commissioner gives the order, you won't hear another word from me. I will release Mr. Lawrence immediately."

However, Silverbell already knew Draco would come up with that excuse, and a sneer of disdain appeared on her beautiful face. "Are you worried that he will come for you and Droitner Inc. when he gets out?"

"What are you saying, milady? Surely you jest."

Draco kept his head bowed to hide his fear. "I was just worried about breaking the rules the grand commissioner himself set in place. I'm too unimportant to make such a call."

"Very well."

At those words, Silverwell drew her sword with a swish, holding it beside Draco's neck as she snapped coolly, "Since you can't decide, I'll do it for you right now!"

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1718- At those words, Silverwell drew her sword with a swish, pressing it against Draco's neck as she snapped coolly, "Since you can't decide, why don't I help you right now?"

"Argh!"

Feeling the sharpness of Silverbell's sword against his pudgy neck, Draco quickly threw his hands up in panic. "Please, this is a mistake, Lady Silverbell! Breaking out of prison is a capital crime in Draconia! My life is worth nothing, but yours is!"

"Are you releasing him or not?!" Silverbell bellowed, pressing her sword into Draco's neck.

Draco's face dropped as he felt the sting of the edge, and his own blood trickling down along it.

He did not expect the chief of the Martial Alliance to go that far for Frank, ready to break him out of prison even if it meant taking Draco down. They were talking about a capital crime here!

Be that as it may, Draco was not really concerned about escaping inmates-the only thing he worried about was what Silverbell would do. So much as one flick, and it was his head on the floor.

Remembering the numbers on his bank account and the riches waiting to be spent over the rest of his life, he finally knew fear.

Dropping to his knees with a thud, he begged Silverbell, "Please don't kill me, Lady Silverbell! Just don't kill me, and I'll do anything for you!" Silvebell's eyes flashed in disdain at his spineless reaction, though she soon hid it. "All I want is the release of one inmate. As long as you agree to stay silent and not issue the Blackwater Designation, you have my promise on my honor as the chief of the Martial Alliance, that the son of the Lord of the Southern Woods won't come after you. After all, the Droitners were coercing you, weren't they?"

Seeing Silverbell's cool gaze, Draco came to a realization and nodded repeatedly "Y-Yes! The Droitners were coercing me by threatening to kill my cousin! I had to arrest the son of the Lord of the Southern Woods for her sake!"

"Heh. At least you're smart." Silver nodded, smiling and sheathing her sword.

As her smile left the kneeling Draco spacing out, she demanded, "What are you looking at me for? Aren't you going to release Frank Lawrence?"

"Oh… Yes! Yes!"

Draco regained his senses at Silverbell's cool prompting, and scrambled to his feet, politely asking Silverbell to follow her down into the underground levels.

As soon as she entered the pitch-black hallway, the stench of rot wafting from the cells of both ends left Silverbell frowning.

"This way, Lady Silverbell." Draco stayed ahead and led Silverbell.

While most of the rowdy inmates quickly turned quiet when they saw Draco, their eyes soon widened and bloodshot, giving Silverbell the feeling that she was walking into the lion's den.

Eventually, one of them risked death by calling out, "Hehe, beautiful! Did you come to have fun with a brother?"

The rest of the prison went into an uproar right then.

After all, they had been confined here for god-knows-how-long-forget a beauty like Silverbell, they had not seen a sow for ages.

Naturally, there was a women's prison, but it was separate for this one.

Hence, the eager prisoners were leaping up on the steel bars of their cells as they reached their hands out toward Silverbell, laughing sleazily and mouthing every kind of insult at her.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1719-As the rowdiness reached new heights, some of the inmates were taking off their clothes and rubbing their engorged members.

Swish!

Silverbell scowled and swung her sword toward the fringe of the cells.

Blood splattered as the inmates screamed harrowingly, and they became eunuchs by the dozens.

Draco looked on without complaining, only telling the jailers behind him, "Send those inmates who had just insulted Lady Silverbell to the penance chamber."

The inmates' faces fell at the mention of the penance chamber, none of them daring to mess around right then.

Even Silverbell was actually surprised that the inmates were all suddenly so tame at the mention of the penance chamber.

She did not dwell on it, however, as she was fine as long as the inmates quit causing trouble.

Soon, Draco brought Silverbell to Frank's cell.

He stood, leaning against the wall, while Tigris Fisher was hanging his head in fearful silence, still fettered to the iron chair.

Judging from the bruises all over him, he had clearly been disciplined by Frank for running his mouth.

Still, he looked up and saw Draco, his eyes flashing lustfully when he saw the beautiful woman with his brother.

"Draco, my brother!" he exclaimed, and pointed at his black eye. "Help me! This brat is too much, beating me up before I could speak! Just look at his good work… He'd even threatened me!"

"Really?"

Silverbell laughed before Draco spoke. "And how did he threaten you?"

Her heavenly voice left Tigris stumped, and he stared blankly at Silverbell.

He only came to his senses when Draco cleared his throat and gave him a look, since Draco could not say it out loud.

"Ahem… No, he didn't threaten me." Tigris chuckled while nodding slightly at Draco in understanding.

Draco was just a little relieved to see that, only for Tigris to chuckle.

"You're the best, Draco! I've been saying that it's boring being a failer here, and I'd like a lady, and now you've really brought one!"

Draco was left gaping at his brother's words.

That was not what he meant! He was giving him a look to watch his words!

Why could Tigris not understand?!

But even as Draco looked on in shock and fear, Tigris laughed so hard that his pudgy cheeks were flapping. "So, girlie-which club do you work at? You must be expensive, huh?"

"Hahaha! Don't worry, girlie!"

Tigris was left cringing, but before he could interrupt and clear the misunderstanding, Silverbell smiled as she turned to look at Frank, who was rolling his eyes. "Of course. I'm not cheap."

Tigris started to brag as libido overcame him, completely forgetting that he was still Frank's hostage. "I have nothing but money. Give me some proper service, and I'll make it worth your while! Hahaha!"

Rubbing his hands and looking Silverbell from head to toe, he kept gulping and laughing sleazily. "Draco, quick! You must have a to save me now, right? I mean you even brought me a girl! Oh, I can't wait!"

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1720-Rubbing his hands and looking Silverbell from head to toe, Tigris kept gulping and laughing sleazily. "Draco, quick! You must have a way to save me now, right? I mean you even brought me a girl! Oh, I can't wait!"

"How tasteful of you, girlie! Dressing so conservatively, and in all white at that… it's so that I could rip it off, right?"

"Shit, shut up already!"

Draco finally had enough just then and pointed at his own brother as he snapped, "You pig! This is Lady Silverbell, chief of the Martial Alliance! How dare you insult her! I'll have your tongue for this!"

"What?!"

It was only then that Tigris' face full of lust turned pale.

So that pretty face was not a prostitute his brother got her, but the chief of the Martial Alliance herself, and a very important person at that!

He fucked up!

His lips were trembling even as he stammered, "L-Lady Silverbell… I-I didn't know who you were! I'm a pig, I deserve to die… Please, spare my life! I won't do it ever again!"

Tigris actually tried to beg on his knees, but Frank had him fettered to the iron chair, so he could only bow his head and shoot pleading looks at Silverbell.

Still, Draco was on his knees in his stead, begging Silverbell, "Please Lady Silverbell… give that scumbag a chance for my sake… I-I'll definitely straighten him out! This won't ever happen again, I promise!"

Meanwhile, the other inmates in the cells on both ends of the hallway were gaping as the usually high-and-mighty warden went down on his knees.

The inmates who were insulting and even fantasizing were especially ashen-faced.

"Well, I can spare him…" Silverbell spoke, her earlier smile gone as her expression turned as cool as ice. "Sent him to the penance chamber to reflect on his mistakes."

"What?!" Tigris gaped, petrified.

Draco was stunned too, while Frank had no idea what the penance chamber was since he had just arrived.

Seeing Frank's confusion, the fettered geezer explained, "It's the worst punishment possible here in Blackwater. Barring death itself. It's a lightless room, and no one comes out in one piece… or sane. You must have heard the crazy howling when you first came in, didn't you? Well, that's from the penance Chamber."

"No!"

Tigris struggled violently against the fetters of the iron chair as he tried to kneel to Silverbell, sobbing and howling as he begged, "Please, Lady Silverbell! Please, find some kindness in your heart-don't send me to the penance chamber You could take my leg, or even my tongue! Just don't send me there!"

Silverbell, however, was now aware what the penance chamber really was thanks to the raspy geezer.

She smiled sweetly despite Tigris' crazed pleas, looking at Draco as she said, "No, I'm afraid you have to go. And this isn't up for discussion."
