The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1791
Hearing how Paul threatened Frank, the remaining exhibition visitors were left raising their brows.
They naturally knew Paul, as he was the current CEO of Droitner Inc., the company that sponsored this exhibition.
And Leino Himmich, who had just been taken away, was Paul's best friend.
However, it was obvious that Paul had no idea what had just happened to Leino, which was why he was so pompously threatening Frank.
If he had known that Frank's maternal grandfather was Governor Quill, his reaction would have been even more ridiculous than Leino's.
Nux Hamner, the mayor of Bralog, could certainly hear Paul. He strode up, snapping, "How dare you, Paul Droitner! Don't you know who you're talking to?!"
"Mr. Hamner?!" Paul frowned.
He had spotted Nux earlier. However, in his mind, Nux was just the mayor of Bralog.
That meant Nux did not have authority over the police force, so Paul was not worried since he was friends with Leino.
He even snorted at Nux. "I don't know what happened here, but my grandson did not faint for no reason. Someone did this, and you need to get to the bottom of this, or his godfather Leino Himmich will make them pay!"
Nux laughed despite himself—to think that Paul would still mention Leino now!
He bellowed right then, "Leino has already surrendered himself and confessed to his shady dealings with your company! Droitner Inc. would soon see their comeuppance, and you're still trying to strut here?!"
Paul flinched from Nux's outburst, but he immediately presumed that Nux was lying.
After all, Nux was standing right beside Frank, and he could well have come at Frank's request.
"Don't believe anything you've heard, Nux!"
Paul retorted with righteous indignation. "Droitner Inc. is perfectly innocent! When did we ever have shady dealings with Leino?!
"On the other hand, that man beside
you, Frank Lawrence, is a Zamri citizen, but came over to our city and hurt my grandson! If you refuse to arrest him now, let's see what you have to say when Commissioner Himmich gets here!"
But even as Paul rambled, he felt something unusual-everyone was watching him like he was stupid, including Nux.
Even as he wondered what was going on, he knew he must maintain his composure, let alone admit to his shady dealings with Leino.
If he did, it would truly be over for Droitner Inc.
"Grandpa..." Huub rasped as he suddenly stirred.
"Oh, my boy! What happened?!"
Paul turned toward him anxiously, growling through his teeth, "I came with everyone when I heard that the exhibition hall was collapsing Was it Frank Lawrence?!"
Huub was obviously stumped, and instead of answering Paul, he stood up and looked around. "Where's godfather?"
"Godfather?" Paul did a double take. "I didn't see Leino around."
Huub's eyes widened. "No, he was right here, and-"
el
"Leino Himmich has been arrested and dishonorably discharged," Nux barked coldly just then. "The prosecutors will soon be filing a case against Droitner Inc., so surrender now if you know what's good for you, or you'll face harsher punishment!"
"What?!"
Huub gaped as he suddenly remembered the reason he had passed out that terrifying geezer was glaring at him!
The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1792
Huub was trembling uncontrollably when he remembered the terrifying geezer's face, which left Paul really concerned. "Are you alright, Huey?" "I'm fine, Grandpa."
Eventually, Huub slowly calmed down.
Glancing at Nux just then, he realized right away that the terrifying geezer from earlier was as scary as he looked, even able to decide Leino's fate with just one word.
Not only was Droitner Inc. helpless against such people, but there was no way that Nux, the mayor of Bralog, would lie outright with so many people watching.
As such, Huub was completely convinced that it was all over for Leino.
And with Leino arrested, Droitner Inc. would soon be implicated as well, and as Huub and Paul were the brains of the organization, he knew that the worst punishment awaited them.
They were involved in everything, from stealing historical and cultural artifacts, to who knew what else. Even nine lives would not be enough.
At that thought, Huub was at once regretful-why did he mess with Frank when business was going so well for him?
Hell, because of Frank, every unsavory business that Droitner Inc. was involved in had been completely exposed, and everyone who was involved was going to prison or worse.
However, amid his despair, Huub suddenly had an idea.
He could run!
There would still be time before Leino would be thoroughly interrogated. As such, Huub could seize the moment and call up every favor accrued over the years to flee the country.
It would be the easy life from there, where Draconia's laws no longer apply, while Huub could lead a decent life abroad with the riches that Droitner Inc. had accumulated over the years.
While Paul was at once bristling, he was also skeptical. "But didn't you say that your godfather was here? Was he taken away?"
He had his doubts, because if Leino had really been arrested, it would mean that some unthinkable power had gotten involved.
In other words, if Paul fought Nux now, that just meant that he would be violating more laws and was basically a dead man.
Huub blinked but gritted his teeth in
detention. "No... I just woke u so was spouting nonsense. Je

see Godfather."
Everyone was left staring blankly when they heard what Huub said.
The brat had just been hugging Leino's leg and begging for help earlier, and he was now saying that he did not see Leino?!
Helen was frowning too, unsure since Huub's lie was really unnecessary. "What is he playing at?"
With Leino arrested, Droitner Inc. would be investigated and exposed—it was all just a matter of time.
Only Frank was watching Huub in disdain, as he saw what Huub was planning.
The brat would sacrifice his own grandfather to buy time and escape.
It was a vile plan, using his own elder like a tool-Huub was really less than human.
The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1793
Hence, Frank strode to the center amid everyone's confusion.
"You must be Paul Droitner, the current CEO of Droitner Inc," he said, watching Paul impassively. "Leino Himmich has already confessed to his shady dealings with your company, including smuggling and sale of historical artifacts. He was taken away, and Droitner Inc. will soon be put on ice as well. So you should give up on wishful thinking-confess now, so that you can be afforded leniency."
"What..."
Paul was left stunned-why would his grandson not tell him if Leino was taken away?!
"Don't fall for his lies, Grandpa!" Huub cried anxiously when he saw that Frank was exposing him and urged, "That man is lying to you! He's trying to frame us into a fake confession! Don't fall for his lies!"
"Paul Droitner!"
Nux bellowed furiously as well, "Leino Himmich has already surrendered. Confess now, and you might be afforded leniency, or you'll have no chance when Leino accuses you!"
At the same time, Huub was urging, "Grandpa! You have to believe me!"
Paul was certainly caught in a dilemma, with Nux and Frank on one hand, and his grandson on the other.
Eventually, he sneaked out his phone and called Leino's number, only to be told that his phone was turned off.
It left Paul frustrated-why did Leino have to turn off his phone now of all times?
Could Nux and Frank have been telling the truth?
And yet...
Paul glanced at his grandson.
He believed the child-and why would he lie even if Leino was really arrested?
Bracing himself at the thought, he bellowed, "Everyone! Do not listen to Frank Lawrence's lies. Go and seize that insolent brat!"
At his order, every Droitner Inc. bodyguard charged toward Frank.
Naturally, they kept their distance from Nux, since Nux was still mayor of Bralog. Not even Leino could save them if they attacked him. "How dare you, Paul!"
Nux was incensed to see the
Droitner Inc. bodyguards attacking. "Do you know what you're doing?! This is a deliberate obstruction of justice and a violation of the country's laws!"
"I do know that damn well!" Paul growled through his teeth, going all out just then. "I want the person who hurt my grandson arrested! This is none of your business, so back off!" Content belongs to
"Fine!"

Nux laughed despite himself and turned toward Frank. "Mr. Lawrence, we should leave. They have the numbers for now..." "Urgh..."
However, Frank was merely sighing when he saw that Paul was really going to fight.
"Frank!"
Peter came up to him just then, pointing at everyone from Lanecorp.
Helen had brought them here along with the Yimmels.
While they did not have the advantage in numbers, they knew for a fact that Droitner Inc. were just trying to stave off the inevitable.
Morale was on their side-in fact, Peter and the others were just waiting for Frank's orders.
If they backed down now, they might
still be able to take down Droitner
Inc. and punish Paul for his crimes, but Huub would most likely escape.
UMS
And Frank had traveled miles here to Bralog for his revenge. Why would he back down and allow his enemy to live? Chuckling coolly, he waved and bellowed, "Charge!!!"
"Yeah!!!"
At Frank's orders, the Lanes and the Yimmels all combined, whipping out their weapons as they dashed forward.

"Yeah!!!"
At Frank's orders, the Lanes and the Yimmels all combined, whipping out their weapons as they dashed forward.
"What..."
Nux was left scowling.
As the mayor of Bralog, he certainly did not want to see two factions waging an all-out war in the middle of the street.
However, he did not dare to say a word because of who Frank was, and he was just standing right beside him.
One of his guards strode up, asking in confusion, "Mr. Mayor, shouldn't we...?"
Nux rolled his eyes and snorted in annoyance. "What, do you think this isn't bad enough already?"
"No, but Droitner Inc.'s crimes are as good as judged...you'd be criticized if you don't help!"
Nux's cheek stiffened at the man's words. "Urgh... Fine! Go ahead!"
"Okay!"
At Nux's orders, his guards joined the fray as well, causing further chaos.
Meanwhile, Frank had spotted Huub in the crowd, pushing his way through to flee.
He ran, circumventing the crowd, and cornered a flustered Huub in a dirty, quiet alley.
"Frank Lawrence?!"
Huub was stunned when he saw Frank suddenly show up.
He then looked around—this narrow alley that could not fit five people walking side-by-side was supposed to be his escape route.
Nheless, unlike the noisy street beyond, there was just a trash can there, aside from Huub and Frank.
Seeing Frank's impassive visage and knowing that he would never win, he steeled himself and started begging instead. "I-I admit that I'm at fault, Frank, but can't you just let me walk?"
"Really?"
Seeing that Houb was begging
through gritted teeth, Frank merely smiled in amusement. "You're really something else, Mr. Droitner-even your pleas seem
did you really think I'd take the bait?" C

Seeing that Frank was unmoved, Huub's eyes flashed, baring his savagery right then. "You've done enough! know who you are now, and I know you're way above me But you've already destroyed Droither Inc., and both my grandfather and godfather will soon be dead! What more do you want?! Our assured mutual destruction?!"
"Assured mutual destruction?"
Frank chuckled in disdain. "Why are you so confident that something like that would happen?!"
"Did you forget?! I still have
hostages!" Haub bellowed, sneering
viciously. "I can call their captors right now, and if you kill me, they'll find out right away! That means that your friends and family will die with me is that what you want to kill me and see them die in front of you?"
"Pfft..."
Huub's threat successfully got a laugh from Frank, which in turn left Huub stiffening.
"What are you laughing at?!" he bellowed.
"I'm laughing because you're really behind the times."
Frank then whipped out a phone, showing a photo of the hostages, who should have been confined in the basement of Huub's coastal mansion, all now sitting on a tour bus
The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1795
"What?!"
Huub felt a chill running down his spine, seeing that the hostages were free.
He also spotted the seemingly unassuming geezer in the photo, his eyes widening in realization.
He remembered his goon reporting that Frank had come to Bralog with another man, which was that geezer in the photo.
"What... Did that old man take down all the martial elites in my basement and save the hostages?!"
The geezer looked like an elderly security guard at best, but he turned out to be a martial elite as well?!
Putting away his phone, Frank smiled at Huub. "So, Mr. Droitner, are you going to pull any more tricks?" "I..."
Huub was stumped, because he was really out of options now.
Physical strength?
Frank had already pulverized his greatest martial elite.
Connections?!
Huub himself was kowtowing and begging as soon as Frank's maternal grandfather showed up!
And his only trick-his hostages-had already been rescued.
He had really lost everything and certainly could not holler at Frank now.
"Nothing? Then it's my turn."
Frank's smile faded, as his gaze flared with long-repressed rage. "I have to admit, Mr. Droitner... You're quite something."
Even as Frank closed in, Huub felt like his legs were made of lead, and he could not even turn to run.
"No, wait... I have a lot of money... Oh, Droitner Inc. also has plenty of treasures!"
Huub begged in panic, "Just let
go, and you can have everything
it's all yours! Please. I was wrong,
just spare me... Don't
Thud.
Huub suffered a nervous breakdown as Frank loomed over him, his visage one of fury.
Dropping on his rear, Huub started begging loudly through tears and snot.
Frank completely ignored him, however, as he seemed to be talking to himself.
"You're the first person who has gotten me this furious since my mother's death."
Seizing Huub by the collar and lifting him off the ground, Frank growled icily, "So don't worry. I'm not going to let you die comfortably."
And with those words, he stomped his foot on Huub's leg.
As Huub's bones broke with a loud crunch, the alley resounded with the screams resembling a gutted pig's.
"That's for sending me to Blackwater."
Whipping out a string of needles
from his belt, he flung them with et

"Argh!!!"
Huub screamed himself hoarse as he struggled against Frank's grip.
Then, Frank dropped him, leaving him convulsing repeatedly.
"That's for deceiving my woman." Frank's voice then echoed like a demon's by Huub's ears.
Even as he lay sprawled on the ground, he struggled and begged "Please, I'm begging you... I won't ever do it again... Frank... Mr. Lawrence... Please..."
et
Frank grinned. "Are you already done? Come on-we still have plenty of time, and I'm the most reasonable person there is."
The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1796
Huub was absolutely terrified, as Frank's grin reminded him of Governor Quill's.
"Rise... Five-Peat Archaeus!"
Frank held out his hands as he pulsated the pure vigor inside him, projecting a fire that he usually used to refine pills.
Huub could immediately feel the flames with no name burning him from the inside out, and he was in so much pain that he could not even scream.
In just half a minute, he fainted and recovered over a dozen times!
"K-Kill me... Just kill me..."
Huub's tears gushed, covering his face miserably as he clenched around Frank's leg, pleading through sobs. "Just kill me... I'm begging you..."
Frank simply chuckled. "I won't make it quick, Mr. Droitner. Now, take your time enjoying your punishment for burning down my house and everything inside."
Huub could barely hear it, and he was at once despairing even as Frank continued. "And now comes the best part. It's for daring to hurt my friends... so you'd better hold on now."
"Argh!!!" Huub finally screamed.
The groups of people fighting heard it, and Paul Droitner's face fell-it was only then that he realized his grandson had suddenly gone missing. And the scream coming out from that alley was, unsurprisingly, his grandson's.
"Stop!"
He barked at his goons, and led them as they charged straight toward the quiet alley, immediately smelling the scent of charred flesh. "S-Save me... Grand... father..."
"What...?"
Paul was left stunned when he saw what was a blackened puddle of flesh.
And he was so familiar with that voice he would never mistake it... The blackened puddle of flesh was what remained of his dear grandson, Huub! "H-Huey...?"
"Kill me... I'm begging you, just kill me... Grandpa...."
Even as Paul trembled from head to toe, Huub's words almost left him suffering a breakdown.
His treasured grandson was actually asking him to kill him! He could not even begin to imagine the torment that Huub was going through!
"Don't worry," Paul growled. "I-I will avenge you..."
"Heh... Hahaha..."
Hearing what Paul said, the black puddle breathed an eerie laugh that left everyone feeling a chill down their spines. "We can't... Grandpa... we made... a mistake... it's alDover..."
SW
Even as the black puddle finished, someone bellowed behind Paul, "Freeze!"
"What?!"
Paul turned and suddenly found himself staring down ten black barrels, and he dropped limply to his knees.
Around him, Paul's goons had their hands on their heads as they dropped to a crouch too.
A young inspector then strode up,
flashing his badge as he barked, "Paul Droitner! Solid evidence has been found against Droitner Inc. for selling national and cultural artifacts. What do you have say?"
Paul was still caught in the anguish of seeing the state of his grandson, even bent on avenging him. "I want to see Leino Himmich. He's the police commissioner..."
"Leino Himmich?!" The young inspector snorted. "He's already been sent to Blackwater. You don't get to see him!"
The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1797
"What?!"
Paul was left thunderstruck by the news that Leino had already been arrested and sent to Blackwater.
He turned stiffly to look at his dear grandson Huub, finally realizing just then that Huub had tricked him just to use him as a meat shield… or indeed, a scapegoat.
All Huub wanted to do was to use him to buy time so that he could flee abroad and enjoy life, even if it meant adding to Paul's list of crimes. There was a troubled look on Paul's face, but he could not get upset even if he wanted to as he turned to look at Huub, who was now a blackened puddle of blood and guts.
In the end, all Paul could do was look up in the skies and sigh, even as Huub continued to laugh maniacally.
And with that, there was no longer a Droitner Inc. in Bralog, and the Droitners were gone as well.
Frank naturally was not interested in staying at Bralog at that, turning down Nux Hamner's invitation to let him stay.
Instead, he drove the Droitner Inc. bus with his friends and returned to Zamri on a lively trip.
Kat Yego was livid even as she demanded, "Master Lawrence, did you punish that brat properly? You can't let him get away with this!"
She was clearly furious with what Huub did and even wanted revenge personally.
"Don't worry. I made him pay for everything he did." Frank chuckled but did not elaborate.
The kind Winter Lawrence appeared concerned. "Did you… kill him?"
"Hmph!"
Mona Fairfax snorted. "Trash like him should be killed right away. He'll just hurt more people if left alive."
"Exactly, sister!"
Kat nodded in agreement. "It'd be even better if he died from a thousand cuts!"
Nash Yego frowned in disapproval. "Kat, you're not that young now-you shouldn't speak of death and mutilation so lightly." "Hmph."
Kat pouted but did not argue for once.
"The children can't be blamed, Nash."
Carol Zims shook her head, turning toward the ever cheerful Madfist "Huub Droitner would have made us suffer if not for that gentleman over there." They had really dodged a bullet this time, especially Winter, whom Huub would have handed off to those foreign businesspeople. "Everyone, please listen…"

"Just don't be so trusting toward strangers next time."
"We're fine, aren't we?"
Everyone was immediately and noisily defending Helen's innocence, clearly aware that Helen did not tell Huub to do what he did.
While Helen looked on, she still thought that Frank might still be angry, as her mistrust was why everyone was in danger.
Leaning on Frank, she murmured, "Frank, I'm…"
"Urgh…"
Frank sighed and flicked her on the forehead, leaving her wincing and clutching her head. "That's your punishment. Just watch out from now on."
Everyone looked on cheerfully.
The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1798
Helen Lane, Lanecorp's ice queen girlboss, actually had tears in her eyes.
Who knew whether she was hurt or just crying, though?
"I'm sorry…" she murmured.
"It's fine." Frank sighed. "Like I said, just watch out from now on."
"I'm sorry…"
"Are you listening?"
"Sorry…"
Frank was actually left a little overwhelmed by Helen's apology just then.
After driving for a long while, the tour bus finally returned to Zamri.
Vicky was already there, waiting and smiling as she welcomed everyone back.
Nodding at Helen, she then threw herself into Frank's arms. "Good job, darling!"
Frank felt a little embarrassed by Vicky's straight ball, though he was relieved to see Helen merely watching them with a smile and nothing else.
"Come on!" Vicky pulled Frank along just then, having generously rented out an entire hotel in Zamri as temporary lodgings.
As Mona alighted, she found Winter staring at Vicky and Frank, and she yanked Winter by the sleeve.
"What? Oh!"
Winter finally came to her senses and left a little reluctantly.
"I'm envious… No, I mean I'm jealous!" Kat suddenly growled through her teeth nearby.
"Eh?!"
Winter was startled since she thought Kat was talking about her.
Though she patted her modest et chest as she turned and saw that Kat was staring at Vicky, she could not help sighing wistfully as well. UMS Meanwhile, Vicky was saying, "Darling, I've sent some people over to look, but they said even the foundations of Cologne Court have been destroyed and can't be el repaired, so I've hired people to build a larger, grander mansion! What do you think?" Content belongs to Frank scratched his head, surprised that Vicky was bringing such good news after it had been a while since they had last met. "Well… thank you very much."Vicky then turned to Helen. "Oh, and you can stay at the hotel too while my people fix Cologne Court."
Helen was surprised that Vicky was being thoughtful to her as well, but she shook her head. "It's fine. I'll sleep in Lanecorp Tower." "Nonsense!" Vicky snapped, but she soon flashed her signature mischievous smile. "I might sneak into Frank's bed, y'know?"
"It's fine."
Helen was smiling calmly for once, even tucking her hair behind her ear. "We're family. Does who comes first make any difference?" "What…" Vicky blurted.
Helen simply shrugged and strode into the hotel, leaving Vicky stumped and staring blankly as she left.
It felt like Helen had changed, though Vicky could not say how specifically.
"Well then… shall we get some rest too?"
Frank suddenly pinched Vicky on the waist, causing her to moan before glaring at him accusingly.
She then giggled. "Oh, my… Being a little forward today, are we?"
The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1799
Frank raised a brow and flashed a provoking smile. "I've always been forward, haven't I?' "Tch."
Vicky rolled her eyes, clearly skeptical.
Still, seeing that the others were in the hotel, she turned serious as she turned to Frank. "By the way, I'm here for business too."
Frank's heart seemed to stop at her serious stare. "Really? What business?"
"It's about a spiritron vein…"
Vicky sighed lengthily, shaking her head. "My family's spiritron vein… is missing."
"Missing?!"
Frank was stunned. "How?"
Vicky shrugged. "That's exactly what I asked Uncle Glen, but it seems that a family executive was unhappy with the plan to reintegrate the branch families, so he sneaked into our family's ancestral shrine and stole it."
Frank was speechless. "Wait, was there no security? Where were the blackguards? Is your family really just going to watch someone steal something so important?!"
"You're wrong there, darling."
Vicky shook her head at Frank's exclamation. "For us Turnbulls, what's most important isn't the spiritron vein but our business. If anything, we can even give away the spiritron vein for the sake of our business."
Frank was left speechless for a long while, though he could only be amazed that the Turnbulls were ready to sell the spiritron vein for money. One would expect nothing less from Draconia's top family in trade and commerce.
"So? Do you have any clues on the missing spiritron vein?" Frank asked.
"Yeah." Vicky nodded but soon became quiet.
Frank was actually curious as to why Vicky was not reacting like she usually did. "What, is there something you can't tell me?" "Well, it's no big deal."
Vicky smiled. "We've found where that rogue executive is, but we don't have the right guy to send since it's the spiritron vein."
Frank could not help but laugh when he saw the twinkle in Vicky's eyes. "Don't worry your troubles are mine. Just leave it to me." "Oh, I love you so much, darling!"
Vicky skipped around before landing a huge smooch on Frank's cheek.
Feeling the soft sweetness in his arms, even Frank could feel a fire burning inside him despite his usual steely determination.
He gulped as he looked into Vicky dewy gaze and her ridiculous body figure, and he only smacked her tight bouncy rear as he snorted. "You minx." Vicky flashed a coquettish smile, winking. "Well, at least I'm the type of minx you love! And don't forget that I'd never refuse you…"
Her clearly pointed words were especially alluring as she hovered her fingers near her lips.
Feeling the fire blaze violently in him to almost unstoppable proportions, Frank could only sigh. Not only was Vicky a goddess among men, but she also knew how to get a man excited.
It was highly regretful that Frank still had to abstain.
Pursing his lips, he stopped at brushing his hand against her waist before chuckling as he headed into the hotel. "Just give me the details on your rogue executive tomorrow."
Vicky was folding her arms before her chest, pouting unhappily as she watched Frank leave her and head into the hotel alone. "You keep saying one thing but doing another… Hmph!"
The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1800
"Tch."
Vicky was folding her arms before her chest, pouting unhappily as she watched Frank leave her and head into the hotel alone. "You keep saying one thing but doing another… Hmph!"
Frank naturally heard that but pretended not to hear her and hurried away.
The night passed serenely, and by the next morning, Frank had more or less recovered from pent-up fatigue after recovering for a night.
He examined his body to find that while most of his injuries were healed, there were still lingering conditions, though none of it would affect his combat ability.
However, his phone rang just as he was about to leave and find Vicky.
It was a call from an unfamiliar number, which left Frank perplexed as he did not give anyone other than close acquaintances his number.
Still, he answered and heard a voice speaking broken Draconian, "Hello, Mr. Lawrence."
It was obviously a foreigner, and Frank promptly demanded, "Who are you? How did you get my number?"
"Calm down, Mr. Lawrence. I mean no harm."
The voice then paused before chuckling. "You can call me Mobius, and I got your number from Nux Hamner. I do apologize for imposing." "Mr. Mobius, I see… And why would you be looking for me?"
Frank's tone was quite rude despite Mobius' refined politeness, because Frank was convinced he had no ties with any foreign parties. If he had, it would be the bounties on his head.
"Well, my master, Yohan Bozad, has sent me here to Draconia on a business trip."
Mobius explained earnestly. "Master Bozad has been taken ill, and he needs the mystical medicine of el to find out that you own a BloodCrane Spiritbloom that supposedly prolongs a person's lifespan, and Master Bozad is interested in buying it. You may Draconia to recover. And pene name any price you wish." Frank understood right then-Mobius must be one of the foreign businessmen who had dealings with Droitner Inc.
Mobius would not have found out about the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom otherwise.
As for his master, Yohan Bozad, Frank really had no idea who he was, or what he was like, as he was totally unfamiliar with the powers that be abroad.
However, if it was the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom, Frank's stance was simple.
"No, I'm not selling it regardless of how much you're going to pay me," he said, refusing the offer bluntly.
"Please, Mr. Lawrence-you can't decide right away."
Mobius, however, chuckled. "As Master Bozad would say, everything in this world comes at a cost, and having a cost means it can be net traded. therefore believe that you're refusing because we're not paying you enough in return. In that case, may I ask what you would like?"Frank's interest was actually stoked, as the foreign businessman had a point.
Still, he scoffed. "What if I told you I want the fall of the Lionhearts? How about that? Can your master accomplish that?" "The Lionhearts?"
Frank rubbed his chin in turn, inwardly impressed that the Lionhearts had partnered with foreign parties as well.
They really were a handful!
"In that case, there's nothing more to discuss," Frank said quietly. "I will never sell the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom because it is exceedingly valuable. You should just give up already."
