Bunty replied, “That must be nothing. I get headaches all the time too. You just have to sleep it off. If you’re really that worried, go get a CT scan!”
She then turned to Daya. “Oh my dear, why do you not look concerned at all? This is a scandal! Someone is trying to ruin your reputation! Someone in our company must’ve sent that video out. I’m guessing it’s Elena, she was there too that day.”
Daya said calmly. “Don’t panic. So what if it’s a scandal? It’s not like I’ve done anything wrong, I won’t go to jail.”
Bunty replied. “You may not have to go to jail, but your future is ruined! Think about it, you’d be made redundant.”
“Then so be it, I have to retire anyway.”
“What?!”
The color drained from Bunty’s face. ‘How could she think this way? I still need her to help me earn more money for a fewyears!’
Daya said, “It’s not necessarily a bad thing.”
Missy was shocked as well. “Not a bad thing? Then what is a bad thing then? I’d say that Mr. Rockefeller is the worst. How could he just hide away and not speak up after this? He has damned us all!”
Daya’s expression was cold. “I won’t let you talk about him like that! I was the one who got him involved when I used him as a shield.”
She then continued. “Actually, I’ve never told you guys but even if this scandal didn’t happen, I would be retiring soon regardless. My family is arranging a marriage for me. Once that’s settled, I wouldn’t be able to continue singing or acting.”
The others screamed in shock.
Bunty said, “No way, you should be able to continue to work in the entertainment industry even after marriage! Look at the top celebrities now, they’re all married!”
Daya shook his head. “I’m different.”
“How so?”
“I’m from the Stoermer family of Michigan!”

Bunty’s eyes widened in shock.
Just then, Daya received a call. It was a call from her father, Kazim Stoermer.
After answering, Kazim sounded very stern. “Where are you? Send your location, your mom and I are in California now.”

Claire then left the room as soon as she was done lecturing her.
Beatrice let out a deep sigh.
She had hoped that Alex and Daya would get together back at the concert. She had also seen what Alex could do, proving that he wasn’t a loser. Without the influence of the mental power, she was definitely on her sister’s side.
“Alex, you’re playing with fire here!”
She looked up, realizing that her sister wasn’t out of her room yet. She wondered if Dorothy had found out about this and was upset.
She called Alex secretly only to find that Alex had switched his phone off.
Beatrice rushed up to see Dorothy and saw her lying on the bed. She seemed stressed out as tears streamed down her face.
“Sis…”
“Alex, he… He’s crossed the line. How could he kiss Daya in public?”
Dorothy raised her head, shocked. “How… how did you know?”
Beatrice’s eyes widened. “I think every American would know about this by now. It’s all over the news!”
Dorothy felt her ears ringing and fell in a daze. She turned on her phone and saw the scandals and rumors about the two. More importantly, she found the video as well.
Her heart dropped to her stomach once more.
Beatrice asked, “Sis, what are you going to do?”
“Does Mom know about this?”
“Not yet…”
Just then, Claire barged into Dorothy’s room, seemingly pissed off. She was holding her phone, calling Adrianna at the same time.
Adrianna said in mockery. “What did I tell you? How could that Rockefeller be a good husband? First he was your daughter’s sugar baby, and now he has the money, he’s screwing other women…”
The two Assex sisters felt their blood run cold.
Claire yelled. “Divorce, you must divorce him! Dorothy, you have to listen to me this time. Believe me, I’ll find someone better for you! Thank god I was right to not let you two sleep together! Do you see how wise I am now?”

Waltz and Michelle were currently sitting together in the living room, worried sick.
Waltz asked, “How many times has it exploded now?”
Michelle raised all fair white fingers from one of her hands. “Five, I think.”
Waltz stood up abruptly. “I can’t let him continue doing this. It’s obvious that something is wrong. I’m worried that he’d put his life in danger if he continues.”
Michelle sighed. “That damned idol must’ve done something to affect his mood! Now that the scandal has spread across the whole country, Assex must have found out by now! They even have such clear footage of them kissing!”
Waltz sighed as well. “That’s the thing! I don’t know what Assex had seduced our man with, but he’s just so head over heels for her! It’s not like she had ever treated him like a real husband though… God…”
Waltz then walked towards the basement door, ready to barge in. However, Alex opened the door himself and walked out
He was a complete me with ashes all over his tired face. There was even blood on the corner of his mouth. He looked completely different from how he looked before.
“Alex!” Waltz called out to him worriedly.
Alex’s eyes were gloomy, he seemed exhausted as he waved to her. “I’m alright!”
Waltz flung herself onto him and hugged him tightly. “I know, I know everything that has happened.”
Michelle stared at them from behind and sat back down on the sofa,
“What do you know?” Alex smiled sadly.
“I know that Assex must’ve given you a hard time, right? Why else would your pill making end up in explosions over and over again. Your skills should be more than enough for that! Your mind is just somewhere else.”
Upon listening to what Waltz said, Alex let out a deep sigh and fell silent.
Since he didn’t deny this, it would mean that everything was true.
He was indeed unfocused and couldn’t stay calm while making pills. He kept making mistakes due to this, causing explosion after explosion, wasting a whole stove of traditional herbs. It was fortunate that the stove with a missing leg piecewas sturdy enough to handle all this. Even after so many explosions, it was still functioning just fine.
Waltz dragged Alex to the sofa and sat him down.
Michelle sat down on his left while she sat on his right, leaning in as they comforted him.
Michelle added. “I think you and Dorothy aren’t suited for each other too. You two are from completely different worlds! You had to hide a lot of secrets from her too. I know you don’t want her to worry, but women can just somehow tell if their man is hiding something from them! Even without this scandal with Daya, you’re still going to break up because of countless conflicts.”
Suddenly, Claire barged into the villa with the two Assex sisters.
Dorothy still had the keycard to Maple Villa 8, which was why they could get in so easily.
However, as soon as they barged in, they found Alex hugging two women, acting as if he was a king on the sofa.
More importantly, both Waltz and Michelle had pressed their bodies against him, as if they wished they could glue themselves to him.

Waltz got up from her seat as well. “Hey b*tch, watch your mouth. If it weren’t for Alex’s sake, I would’ve killed you ages ago.”

Claire was very hot tempered. She exploded when Waltz insulted her, swinging her hand towards Waltz.

But as a normal woman, she would never be able to slap Waltz, a Mystic rank fighter. Waltz grabbed her by the wrist and swung her other hand towards Claire.

The slap was loud and harsh.
However, Claire was not the one who had been slapped, Alex had gotten in between them with lightning speed.
Waltz froze and stomped her feet. “Alex, what are you doing?”
Alex said, “Get back to your room. Michelle, you too!”
The two women didn’t want to listen, but they couldn’t do anything but nod and go back to their rooms after Alex shot them an angry glare.
Before Waltz went upstairs, she intentionally said, “Should I go back to your room or mine? Hmm, I guess I’ll go to yours. I left my pants on your bed last night.”
Alex could feel his mind exploding.
Waltz, however, had already rushed upstairs to his room before he could react.
“Rockefeller, my sister has been nothing but good to you! She let you stay with us when you were at your lowest. She even gave you money to help pay for your mother’s hospital bills! I didn’t expect you to be such a scum, you trash! I’ve misjudged you, scum like you don’t deserve to be with my sister!” Beatrice shouted angrily.
Alex wanted to explain, but he felt extremely exhausted. He somehow caught feelings for Daya out of nowhere. He even caught feelings for Waltz before he met Daya too.
The two had been sleeping in the same bed multiple times. He can’t say that Waltz was the one who forced herself on him since he definitely had the power to push her away after all.
Hence, he had nothing to say to Dorothy, all her doubts were true.
“See? He’s admitting to it!” Claire said with a big smile on her face.
“Well thank the heavens, you can finally move on from him and get a divorce! I never thought this bastard was any good for you from the start! I saw through him, he’s just trash! Back then he relied on you, and now he’s out here sleeping with other women! If you really became a true married couple, you would be the one to suffer, my daughter!”
Pausing for a brief while, Claire turned to Alex and yelled. “Rockefeller, I want you to get a divorce with my daughter with no other conditions! Do you agree?”
Alex turned to look at Dorothy, his eyes were filled with pain.
In the end, he nodded slowly.
He knew he had to accept any punishment for what he did after all. His heart was shattered just from seeing Dorothy beingupset.
“Dream on! ” Dorothy yelled out loud, her expression was cold and stern. “Do you want to get a divorce and get together with that Daya girl? I won’t get a divorce with you so you can continue living your happy life! I’ll pester and hog you till death!”
She then spat a mouthful of blood due to her pent up anger.
Alex felt his heart ache, he rushed up to hug her.
Dorothy, however, pushed him away. “You don’t deserve to touch me. You’re too filthy!”
Claire was panicking. “Dorothy, what are you doing? Are you really planning on clinging on to his unfaithful and insignificant *ss?”
Dorothy just turned around and left, not turning back once.
Beatrice yelled. “You’re inhumane, Rockefeller!”
She chased after her sister.
Claire’s expression was twisted. “I won’t let you off this easily, Rockefeller. Remember this! I will never forgive you!”
Alex sat down on the floor, he was still in a daze.
The Assex family then drove out of Maple Villa.
When they were driving on a slope, a truck abruptly crashed into their BMW M8, causing the latter to flip and crash onto the ground. A few minutes later, a few people got out of the car.
Claire and Beatrice had fainted from the impact and shock.
Although Dorothy’s head was bleeding, she was still conscious. She noticed a woman walking in her direction, hence she called out for help.
Unexpectedly, the woman knocked her out.

Claire was thrown to the ground harshly and her nose bled as she fell face first. The impact woke her up instantly.

Before Claire could understand her situation, she started screaming because she thought the car crash had just happened.
Suddenly, she was slapped across the face and a woman’s voice said coldly, “Shut up and be quiet, or I’ll kill you!”

Claire’s face was swollen from the slap, which also snapped her back to her senses. She realized that she was in an unfamiliar room and her daughters were lying on the ground unconscious.

“I heard him saying Baron Alley or something just now!” Michelle caught up and said.
Waltz immediately hopped into her Lamborghini and turned on the engine.
“Get in the car. Let’s go!”
“Give Nathan Pattingson a call. Quickly!”

Maiko stared at Alex, ignoring Beatrice.
