The person who knocked was Sharpay.

Alex frowned. He knew that this woman was a gold-digger. She was scammed of two million dollars because of this last time.

‘Now that she knows I’m the owner of City Salon, could it be that she has something in mind in order to get closer to me?’

“Sharpay, what do you want?” He seemed slightly pissed off.

“Mr. Rockefeller, Miss Lawson, something terrible happened. Someone just came barging in, Manager Rose was beaten up too!” Sharpay said in a rush.

“What?” Alex’s heart jolted, he didn’t expect that it was actually something serious.

Paying closer attention, he realized that a loud fighting sound was coming from the entrance.

He could only blame that the salon was just too big, the distance between the office and the entrance was too far. Plus the door was closed, so he wasn’t able to hear the commotion immediately.

Soon after, the three of them rushed over to the entrance. They could hear a man yelling smugly halfway toward the entrance.

“F*ck! I tried being nice, yet you people all didn’t appreciate it at all. Everyone of you is a b*tch, do you have a death wish?”

“Where’s your boss? Call your boss out right now! If he doesn’t come out, I’ll have my men tear down your salon. Do you believe it?”

“I don’t think so! ” Alex’s cold voice came from the corridor.

He noticed that a few bodyguards were lying on the ground, some women were sitting on the floor too. They were obviously beaten up by someone. There were about a dozen thuggish men standing in the lobby. There was also a calm looking man in a suit sitting on the sofa and watching the scene being unfolded.

A blonde young man in the group stared at Alex who just came over. “So you’re the boss? Alright, we’re from Thousand Miles Conglomerate! We’re here today to have you join us. The membership fee is three hundred million dollars per year. Got it?”

After the man said this, everyone else except Alex were terrified.

Many women at the salon watched as they flashed their beautiful eyes, their hearts pounded with excitement. Sharpay, especially, covered her mouth with her hand. She was this close to spreading her legs for him.

She couldn’t help but think, ‘So he’s actually this powerful. Not only is he rich, but he’s handsome too! Why didn’t I notice this before?’

At this very moment, Alex’s image in her mind was going through an extreme change.

The more insignificant he was back then, the more powerful he seemed now.

Wolf knew that something was wrong.

He knew that he was up against a martial artist, hence he immediately said in a fierce tone, “Hey punk! How dare you defy our Thousand Miles Conglomerate? Just you wait, I’ll have three thousand of my men to take down your salon!”

He then made a run for it, leaving his men behind.

“Did I say you could leave?”

Alex took a step forward and appeared right behind Wolf. He then grabbed Wolf’s hair from behind, dragging him back inside. After being thrown to the ground with a loud thud, Wolf’s arm was broken right away.

Alex couldn’t care less about his cries. So, he said, “I’ll give you a chance to call over your three thousand men from Thousand Miles Conglomerate over. If you fail to do so, you can drown yourself in a river.”

Wolf stared at Alex in sheer horror.

How could he have the ability to call three thousand men over?

Moreover, Thousand Miles Conglomerate might be a big organization, but most of them were serious businessmen. How could he possibly find that many underlings?

“So, you can’t call them? Do you want me to call them over for you?” Alex said as he pulled his phone out of his pocket.

Meanwhile, Hailey grabbed his hand gently. “Bro, we really shouldn’t go up against Thousand Miles Conglomerate. If you were to beat up Lord Lex’s nephew, wouldn’t it become a real mess later?”

Alex lightly huffed. “Even if Lord Lex were to come over, he would have to bow down to me!”

‘What?’ Everyone gasped in astonishment. ‘Isn’t he bluffing a little too much?’

Alex immediately called Lord Lex. “Lord Lex, your nephew is with me. He wanted my City Salon to join you guys and pay a membership fee of three hundred million dollars per year. If we don’t pay up, he said that he would have three thousand of your men take down our little salon. I’m just so scared, you have to come up with something, I’ll wait over the phone.”

Lord Lex was surprised. “I don’t have a nephew though!”

Alex asked, “Could he be a love child then?”

Lord Lex froze and said respectfully, “Mr. Rockefeller, I’ll be there right away.”

Alex replied, “Remember to bring more of your men, he did say he wanted to bring three thousand of them after all.”

Alex had his reason to call Lord Lex to bring his men over to the salon, it was a deliberate show or strength as a warning, to prevent any other fools coming over to try and scam money out of them again.

Twenty minutes later, a shocking sight could be seen outside the salon.

A huge fleet of hundreds of cars roared as they rushed over, filling up the large plaza in front of the salon. Dozens of the car owners couldn’t find a place to park, so they decided to park their cars at the roadside.

Hundreds of men nervously rushed toward the salon. Those car owners who were stuck in traffic didn’t even dare to get mad after seeing such a magnificent scene.

Passers-by immediately backed away out of shock. Many took out their phones to take photos, some even called the officials to deal with this.

The people inside City Salon were shocked to see such a scene. All of them were trembling profusely, they were worried that City Salon would come to an end this very day.

A large group of people walked in with grandiosity.

However, as soon as they reached the salon’s entrance, they lined up neatly in two rows.

Lord Lex rushed over anxiously as well. He bowed to Alex as soon as he saw him. “Mr. Rockefeller…”

Sharpay fell to the ground, staring in disbelief.

Wolf was so horrified that he was about to wet his pants. He couldn’t believe that the boss of City Salon would have such great power within the area. He was able to call hundreds of Thousand Miles Conglomerate members over with just a phone call and even had Lord Lex apologize to him in person.

He screamed, “Lord Lex! Lord Lex, please spare me! I’m Janice’s son! Janice is my mother! Please, please let me go!”

Lex’s eyes were as cold as ice. “Janice’s son? Take him away and break all of his limbs first, then we’ll drown him!”

After Wolf was taken away, Lex bowed to Alex again. “Sorry, Mr. Rockefeller. This is my fault, you’re free to punish me however you like!”

The eyes of the women at the scene nearly had their eyes popped out of their head.

On the other hand, the remaining group of thugs could sense that death was near.
