Lord Lex let his words trail off, unable to finish his sentence.
Alex smiled and did not ask further. Instead, he pointed at the people on the ground. “Are they also members of Thousand Miles Conglomerate?”
Lord Lex replied, “No, we Thousand Miles Conglomerate would never do such vile things. Or else, the officials would have arrested us ages ago!”
Alex said, “Take them away then. Since they’re just posing to be your people, I’ll let you deal with them.”
Lord Lex immediately ordered his men to take them away.
As for how Lord Lex would deal with them, Alex didn’t deign to ask.
They would probably end up just like Wolf too. However, people like them deserved to die. Especially the older one, she was wearing a traditional dress as she walked slowly with a serene look, as if she was walking out of a painting.

With Brittany here, Alex retrieved his hand and headed into the company with her.

Alex frowned and asked, “Why does he want to see us?”

Alex said calmly, “Mrs. Rockefeller is my mother.”
Queenie was startled for a brief moment, then she smiled coldly. “Well, I’ve given you the invitation, you’re allowed to bring two along with you. As for why we want to see you? You’ll find out yourself when you get there.”

After finishing her words, Queenie hopped into her Ferrari and drove off.

As Alex and the other two walked in, Queenie felt that they didn’t seem to be here for the banquet but they looked like they were here for an outing.
That was because each of them was holding a sundae cone. They were eating the ice cream while looking around as if they were a group of hillbillies who had just entered a big city for the first time. Moreover, she noticed that Alex and Maya were flirting with each other.
“Bro, I want to have some of yours, yours tastes better.”

Before they could exchange the ice cream, Maya stuck her tongue out and licked Alex’s ice cream.
Seeing the two acting like little children, Brittany couldn’t help but feel overjoyed.
Waltz had informed her that her son had gotten a divorce with Dorothy a while ago. Brittany was so happy that she was thinking of arranging the next marriage for her son. She frowned slightly and whispered, “Alex, Maya, looks like this Lord Bale of Hydra Group isn’t waiting specifically for us. I guess he just told us to come by the way because he just so happened to be having a banquet here.”
Alex took over Maya’s sundae cone that had been eaten by her earlier and turned to look at Maya who had gotten some ice cream on her lips.
Swallowing the ice cream in a bite, he could still sense Maya’s lingering aromatic scent on it!
It would seem that the scent on Maya’s body had grown stronger than before.
“Lord Bale of Hydra Group is the president of SCBA who rules the underworld of Michigan, so his status is probably the same as Lord Lex. Why would such a powerful figure even treat us as equals? Lord Bale was glad that they were so optimistic, so he drank more alcohol to liven the mood even more.
Just then, Queenie walked over to Philip and said, “Godfather, the people from Lush Cosmetics are here.”

However, Philip smiled as he said, “Don’t be so mad, Olsen. Those people from Lush Cosmetics are coming over today because they’re going to sell the products of Lush Cosmetics to me. When the time comes, I’ll give you the mask cream that your wife wanted for free if you’d like.”
One of the martial artists was surprised. “Since Lush Cosmetics has been such a trend lately, their profits could easily reach over tens of billions dollars per year, right? How much did you pay them, Lord Bale?”
Lord Bale raised a finger.
The martial artist asked, seemingly doubtful, “A hundred billion dollars?”
Another one was shocked. “A hundred billion dollars? Isn’t that a little too much?”
Philip huffed coldly. “It’s one dollar!”
‘What?’
Everyone couldn’t believe their ears.
‘This has to be the biggest joke of the century, right?’
Philip said, “They slapped my goddaughter. My Queenie’s face is priceless. One dollar is still too much for them in my opinion.”
All five martial artists immediately gave Philip a thumbs up.
Just then, Queenie brought Alex and the other two over. Queenie said, “Godfather, they’re here.”
Philip responded with a hum.
Brittany spoke up, “So, you’re Lord Bale of Hydra Group? Why did you want to see me?”
Philip took a swift glance at the three. However, he intended to give them a cold shoulder, so he turned to Olsen and started a conversation.
Alex could tell his intention at a glance, but he wasn’t in a rush to cause a scene either.
Alex scanned the ostentation of Phoenix Mount Diner, it was filled with thirty or so tables. The guests crowded up the hall, many of them were martial artists too. However, the only ones who were actually skilled were the ones sitting at the main table. Even Philip himself was quite a skilled expert as well, he had the cultivation at Intermediate-Mystic rank.
Despite this, they had absolutely no chance against Alex.
Lord Bale’s table was very large, it could fit twenty people, yet there were only six of them at the table.
Alex pulled out two of the chairs, telling Brittany and Maya to sit down.

Philip gently slammed the table. “Who told you that you could sit down? Do you think you can afford to sit here?”
The three of them froze.
Alex asked, “Aren’t you the one who invited us here for dinner? What is it? Do you have Alzheimer’s disease and forgot about this?”
“Nonsense!” Olsen yelled as he stood up abruptly, he even toppled the chair behind him over.
In that instant, such a commotion had caught everyone’s attention present.

At least fifty members of Hydra Group stood up, turning to look at the main table. The atmosphere turned silent all of a sudden, it felt so suffocating that one might faint.
Especially, some insignificant characters had no idea what was happening at all. However, the standing man who roared was the very same guy whom Lord Bale had introduced earlier. He was a martial artist in California North, his name was Lucas Olsen.
He expertized in the defensive art, the Steel Cloth, which made his body to be invulnerable. He was one of the popular figures of the SCBA Battles tomorrow.
Now that the standing Lucas shouted, it was obvious that something big had happened.
At this moment, Queenie, who saw Alex kept stirring up the trouble, couldn’t help but sneer secretly. She even felt that a good show would be unfolded later.
‘These three would have to end up suffering a fate that’s much worse than death later.’
With this thought in her head, she looked at Maya with a slightly sympathetic gaze.
‘Such a beautiful woman, yet she’s just a mere toy for this man. Once Alex Rockefeller is dead later, his mother Brittany Rockefeller wouldn’t be able to do anything at all. This woman would definitely be taken over by all the men here and end up completely as their slave. What a pity!’

Queenie was so annoyed that she started smiling. “Are you really here for dinner?”
Alex cracked the crab’s shell open and ate a mouthful of crab roe. Its aroma was pure and delicious, he simply can’t get enough of it
Raising an eyebrow, he said, “You came to us personally to hand us an invitation, so aren’t you just treating us to a dinner? I even deliberately didn’t eat lunch for this, I wanted to have a nice and big meal after all. Lord Bale was it? You really don’t disappoint me… There’s just this one flaw though.”
On the contrary, Philip had calmed down.

Philip smiled, yet there was a cold glisten in his gaze. With a scornful smile plastered on his face, he finally spoke up as he looked at the three people, “Do you know why I invited you here?”
Just then, he realized that the three on the opposite of the table were really focused on eating the crab, as if they couldn’t sense danger approaching.
Philip’s eyes glistened, he thought, ‘Are these three really that stupid or are they putting on an act? They seem so calm, this is getting too weird. If they were to be anybody else, they’d be scared sh*tless!’
However, he thought again about the super huge profits of Lush Cosmetics in the future and the great number of skilled experts present.
What was he afraid of?
‘Even if you were to be some powerful figure from the outside, you’d have to kneel before me!’
At that moment, he didn’t have the mood to continue this game of cat and mouse. He didn’t want to be looked down upon by a few martial artist friends who had been invited at a high price, so he went straight to the point. “I would like to buy your company, Lush Cosmetics.”
The three had already figured this out ages ago, hence they weren’t surprised at all.
Alex asked, “How much are you offering?”
Philip smiled as he said, “One dollar. How’s that?”
Both Brittany and Maya’s expression became stern upon hearing this.
‘This person is literally trying to snatch Lush Cosmetics out of our hands. He should be damned!’
Meanwhile, those members of Hydra Group and a few martial artists started cackling out loud.
Queenie stared at them with a scornful expression on her face. “One dollar is more than enough to buy Lush Cosmetics. Otherwise, we won’t pay a single penny! What is it, is this a deal or not? If you don’t agree to our terms, you won’t be able to leave Phoenix Mount Diner in one piece tonight.”
She grinned smugly after saying this.
Unexpectedly, Alex said, “Well, if you want to buy my Lush Cosmetics with one dollar, it’s not like you can’t do so.”
Everyone was shocked after hearing him say this, but they figured that it was reasonable with the way he responded.
‘Lord Bale has already spoken, what else could you do?’
Even Brittany turned to look at him with a surprised look on her face.
However, Alex continued, “But before that, I’d like to make a little trade with you too, Lord Bale.”
Philip asked, “What trade?”

Alex said softly, “I’m offering one dollar for your head.”
Just then, everyone fell silent, they could feel their heart dropping to their stomach.
‘This man is way too reckless, he’s playing with fire here! He’s really digging his own grave, he must be tired of living.’
Queenie’s mouth was agape, she couldn’t believe what she heard.
Lucas couldn’t hold in his anger any longer and yelled, “You b*stard! You are really naive and have a death wish. Let me teach you some manners then!”
Not even deigning to look at him, Alex, who was still eating the crab, flicked his finger gently. An unnoticeable ray of white light shot right into Lucas’s forehead.
At this moment, everyone was still waiting for Lucas to teach Alex a lesson, to clearly show him who he was up against.
However, they waited and waited.
Five seconds.
Ten seconds.
Twenty seconds.
He didn’t do anything at all. Lucas just stood there, unmoved like a stiff log.
“Olsen, Olsen…”
“What are you doing? Weren’t you going to beat him up?”
The martial artist next to him gave him a slight nudge. Suddenly, Lucas fell face front with a bam, slamming half of his body into the dishes on the round table. Even a few plates of dishes were ruined.
“Ah!”
“Olsen! Olsen, what happened to you?!”
That man was shocked, he hurriedly picked Lucas’ body up.
After placing the finger to check his breath, color drained from the man’s face. He stuttered as he turned to Lord Bale, “L-Lord Bale, he… He’s dead!”
Everyone at the table were appalled, then they turned to look at Alex.
“What happened?”
“Why did he even die all of a sudden?”
Everyone present was astonished, because none of them saw Alex make any move.
Moreover, the two were five or six meters apart from each other!
Finally, someone realized something was odd about Lucas’ corpse. There was blood slowly seeping out of his forehead. Upon closer inspection, the crowd realized that a crab leg had stuck deep into his forehead.
“You, it’s you! Were you the one who killed Uncle Olsen?!” Queenie pointed at Alex as she screamed in horror.
Ding!
A dollar coin was suddenly shot out of Alex’s hand. It made countless spins in mid air before finally landed in front of Philip.
“One dollar should be enough to buy your head, right?”
Alex smiled slyly. With that, he stood up, approaching Philip.
“Motherf*cker! How dare you play tricks in front of us?! I’ll break your arm first!”
A martial artist in his thirties lunged towards Alex. He leaped up into the air as he made a claw stance with his hands, clawing fiercely onto Alex’s shoulder.
His fingers were filled with inner force. If a normal person were to be caught by the claws, his shoulder would end up with several bloody puncture wounds.
As a result, backhanded, Alex made a strike by patting the man’s chest gently.
In that instant, loud explosion sounds echoed through the hall.
The man was sent flying backward while all his cores and meridians were all ruptured. Vomiting blood, his face went pale. “You… You ruined my martial arts?!”
